Gotemba

Gotemba is a city beside Mount Fuji in central Japan. Chichibunomiya Memorial Park has a cypress forest and springtime cherry blossoms. To the west, Fuji Safari Park is a zoo with elephants and a night safari. To the north, the Fuji Speedway track hosts regular car races. Swans and paddle boats cruise the waters of Lake Yamanaka, and a trail leads to the Panorama Dai lookout for scenic views of the lake and mountain.

Factory Outlets
Gotemba Premium Outlets is a massive shopping center in Japan, offering around 290 luxury stores with international and Japanese brands. Visitors can indulge in a shopping spree at renowned outlets like Gucci, Burberry, Celine, and Alexander Wang. Afterward, they can enjoy a delectable sushi and tempura lunch at Numazu Uogashizushi or savor coffee and pastries at Fauchon Paris.
Gotemba Premium Outlet it took me 9hrs to stroll around the area. A must visit place especially during occasions and the Mt. Fuji view while window shopping was 🥰..

The place was huge and spacious. At first, the map looks difficult to figure out, but you'll be able to get through it. It doesn't have huge discounts (if you're looking for one) like I experienced from other outlets but the variety of products are endless. Salute to the guy (Ono) at Nike shop. He's so kind to help me find my size and shoes that fit me. His English is excellent. Thank you, sir. 😊

A huge premium outlet where you can find really good prices on new items from whatever brand you name. The view is also amazing, facing the mountains including Mount Fuji. This outlet is also equipped with many food stalls, playgrounds for children, toilets, and lots of benches to rest. Don't forget to bring your passport to get more discount.
A'isyah Kartika Sari — Google review
One of kind mall. Because you are able to have Fuji Mountain views while shopping. Free parking and really huge spaces, but I dont wanna recommend it. It is always tough when there are too many Chinese tourists.

Nice place for shopping brand names. To get there easily, buy a one day tour bus ticket from klook website. The tour includes trip to three main places including two parks to view Fuji Mountain and this Gotemba outlet.
Selvi SF — Google review
It was a nice location to shop, branded things are available. The location is big and wide at the same time you can enjoy the view of mount fuji.
Novem Ondoy — Google review
Its easy to navigate and plenty of shops selections. Though not enough covered area for snacks during winter so its a bit cold. Parking is convenient and plentiful. Definitely need around 4 to 5 hours to shop around. Its good to love around the area for onsens as well
Colin Lai — Google review
More than 300 shops, most popular brands are here. Prices are good and tempting. My daughter spent 3 hrs shopping till (my hand) tired (signing cards). Since it’s not peak holiday season and not Jan & July Sales, not very crowded. Therefore, it’s a more enjoyable shopping experience. For those who did not bring large enough luggage, can buy 1 from Ace Hokkaido suitcase store. Worth coming back to do more shopping. The bonus: you can get a good view of Mt Fuji.
Vincent Tay — Google review
Big outlet where one can easily spend hours shopping ! Some offers are worth buying. The Hill Side food outlets have good selection and with a very nice view of Mt Fuji. The food court at the east end is older and offer not so good environment. The Japanese udon is good though. However, the Singapore chicken rice is the worst I have ever tasted. The rice is white rice, comes with coleslaw and the chicken is sliced into fillet size.

IT'S AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE TO VISIT THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY IN A CLEAR SKY,MT,FUJI HAS A GREAT LOOK .. IT'S REALLY TOOK A LONG TIME TO HAVE A COMPLETE VISIT...NO DOUBT A GREAT ADVENTURE 👍...

A bit out of the way but worth checking out as it is one of the largest outlets in Japan. Lots of common international as well as Japanese designer name brand stores. The bridge extension offers a scenic view of autumn foliage. So what are the shops like? Check out my videos as I peek inside…

Lots of big brands outlet here. Most of them have 30-60% discount. Worth the trip here. Free shuttle bus at the same time. Not crowded. But not all the staff here are friendly. They do judge people.

Nice big premium outlet consist of 3 main big wings. Plan your itinerary or else you can't cover them in 1 day. Mount fuji can be seen in good weather!
Kun Tek Ng — Google review
This place is impressively huge and one of the best tax free shopping experiences I've had. There are several zones and plenty of food options available, so you can choose to spend an entire day here. I spent about 1.5 hours and it's seriously too short. I would recommend 3-4 hours for shopping alone, and perhaps 5-6 if wish to factor in meal time and perhaps factor in entertainment for the kids. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well thought the outdoor mall is, with impressive playground and a mini theme park to keep younger children engaged. This is my first trip, but I'll definitely return again for at least 4-6 hours in the near future.
Jeremy Tan — Google review
The area so big and many branded shop are available based on your needs. There are also good scenes. But unfortunately raining day, too many cloud unable to see the Fuji mountain… anyway, is a good place for shopping. Also offer food court and also convenient store.
Alice — Google review
Came to this premium outlet in hopes of catching a stunning view of Mount Fuji, following our drive to Lake Kawaguchiko. However, luck wasn't in our favor as thick clouds veiled the majestic peak, leaving us unable to behold its beauty. So if you come here for the Mt Fuji, you may consider check the weather first. Additionally, during our visit in mid-February, we observed that many shops in the outlet appeared to be experiencing slow sales.

A fun place to visit for shopping and site seeing. - This place is around two hours from Tokyo. You have to buy bus round trip tickets from Tokyo bus stations. - The place is beautiful and has wonderful views of the mountains. - You can spend the complete day there as it has shops, restaurants and children playgrounds. I highly recommend that you check this place out.
Mansour Al-Amer — Google review
Good selection of stores. Wonderful and close proximity view of Fuji (relatively) - just make sure you book the bus tickets in advance. Not just tourists go there, many Japanese shop there too! So it’s quite busy both times I visited

Took a Bus from Toyko station to this outlet. Took around 2 hours. You can have a good view of Mt Fuji if the weather is good. Very big spacious shopping area. Never bought anything but just an experience to come and take a look.
Dry Gin — Google review
the prices are cheap, you can go crazy shopping here. The Nike store was full of visitors and the cashier queue was very long. Unfortunately, the average size of women's shoes is only 25 cm. At Gotemba Outlet there is also a play ground for children, and we can also enjoy the view of Mount Fuji.

Sights & Landmarks
Mount Fuji, the iconic snow-capped peak and volcano, is the highest in Japan and the 7th highest island peak on earth. Yamanashi Prefecture, home to Mount Fuji, offers a serene escape from Tokyo's hustle and bustle. Visitors can explore the picturesque Fuji Five Lakes, Kiyosato highland resort, historical temples like Erinji and Kuonji, rejuvenating hot springs, and renowned wineries.
Mount Fuji (富士山, Fuji-san) is the highest mountain in Japan which rises to 12,388 feet (3,776 metres) near the Pacific Ocean coast in Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures of central Honshu, about 60 miles (100 km) west of the Tokyo-Yokohama metropolitan area and can be seen from those cities on clear days. It is a volcano that has been dormant since its last eruption, in 1707, but is still generally classified as active by geologists. The mountain is the major feature of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park (1936), and it is at the centre of a UNESCO World Heritage site designated in 2013. The mountain, with its graceful conical form, has become famous throughout the world and is considered the sacred symbol of Japan. Among Japanese there is a sense of personal identification with the mountain, and each summer thousands of Japanese climb to the shrine on its peak. Its image has been reproduced countless times in Japanese art. Mount Fuji attracts more than a million tourists each year to the mountain and surrounding towns, approximately 300,000 of whom will make the climb to the Fuji top. * Photos courtesy of Internet. Thanks!

No matter where you see this mountain from, there's something captivating about the size and shape. It's almost symmetrical and rises out of fairly flat surroundings so it stands out. Apparently it's still an active volcano but fairly docile. Great views from the bullet train that runs from Tokyo to Osaka, as well as the many lakes and campgrounds around it: Kawaguchiko lake has some of the best views.

On a freezing December 2018 morning, while we were coasting Japan, the majestic Mount Fuji came to view. We were passing from quite far, but due to clear sky, it was visible - a breathtaking view.

Beautiful Mount Fuji but sometimes very shy and hiding behind the clouds. If you are lucky you will see the stunning Mount Fuji.

Fantastic Hike up from 2.305m to 3.715m. I did the “daytime bullet climb” which is not recommended by the officials, but my time was limited. Took me up 4.10h and down 2.10h. It is definitely a tough way up. Please consider your fitness level, resilience, weather conditions and your equipment.
A. S. — Google review
It was a majestic sight! There's also poor horses locked up to ropes, waiting for tourist to ride them :( Wish I could visit again and trek up next time, instead of going by tour bus.
Bosco Lim Hearted Moments — Google review
Really fun hike with barriers all around. You can easily do this in half a day if there's no traffic. Equipment is not necessary but I would recommend good shoes because you go up and down a gravel road. The trip is free but you can donate 10 euro and get a free keychain. Sadly the bus to the carpark is very expensive.
Damian D — Google review
Iconic Japan. Just need to be lucky with the weather. The queue of traffic to the car park stretched for miles. The queue for the cable car was just as bad to go down. Plan ahead.

Even though it may not be the prettiest mountain to climb in Japan (check japanese northern alps or Kamikochi), it is indeed the most famous one. A long medium-hard climb, occasionally with rocks and steep areas. Anybody in good conditions can reach the top, but bring warm clothes, flashlight and rainwear since the weather at the top is unpredictable and extremely cold and windy (if you want to see the sunrise, then prepare to feel the cold). Also the line of people can become very long, so be extra patient. The view is beautiful, you will be walking above clouds. But the mountain itself is a volcanic rock, so don't expect interesting vegetation or wildlife. There are a lot of huts that sell water, oxygen and food at a premium price. To come to the start of the hiking area, I took the bus from Shinjuku Station. Note that the huts are open only during the hiking season in summer, so check the dates. You can stay overnight at these hut or reach the top departing at night, depending on your hiking plan. Recently they improved the WiFi at the top of the mountain.

How can you not love this absolutely beautiful creation from this world. It was a perfect time to visit while it was not too cold, but there is still snow on the mountain. You can stare at the mountain every day to look at this beautiful creation. There are several lake around the mountain. You can look at different perspective so you can enjoy different aspect of the view. Make sure to go during the sunny day, because during rainy time, you could probably not be able to see the mountain thank God for the amazing mother

Simply breathtaking!!! An ez 10000000/10. Ok so on klook my friend and I managed to find quite a value for money tour which was led by an originally Taiwanese guide who had been living in Japan for 10 years, so as you could tell she was quite conversant in both languages. Immediately presented herself as very knowledgeable and gave ample time for us to take photos of many attractions at the foot of the mountain. Btw we went in the dead of winter so climbing wasn’t allowed, but we were so lucky cos there weren’t many clouds in the sky that day and we had a very clear view of the peak. If you really want to climb Fuji, I would recommend firstly getting a router cos the signal near the mountain is super weak and secondly you can only do so during the summer months. Nevertheless, we could still visit the first checkpoint and get to play with snow! The food at 忍野八海 is super fresh oso wth especially the street takoyaki and the sweet fruit cakes!!! Will definitely take you about at least 6-8 hours to thoroughly explore the area 👍👍👍, can really just take your time, OTOT, and soak in the fresh air… P.S. there are hotels nearby on the mountain face where you can really experience a panoramic view of Fuji-san

Mountain Fuji area has great views. Went in the summer, so there was no ice perk, as they are melted. The Mount Fuji top looks a little plain, however, when climbed up to the Pagoda, the full city view, with the mountain and Pagoda is amazing. At the green ground before climbing up, that is a very good photo taking spot.

Wow what a magnificent site to see the iconic snow capped Mt Fuji, the highest mountain peak in Japan and the 7th highest island peak on earth. First time to visit Japan and definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommend to visit this place if you’re in Japan..

So beautiful! We went on a sunny day, and it was an amazing view. There are multiple places that you could go from the color bus system to see beautiful mountain from different locations and perspectives. The actual logistics of getting around were chaotic. They had an unclear system of lines and what type of tickets to get. The station workers were helpful even though it took a long time to get to the front to talk to them. It was worth it though!

Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan, Japanese: [ɸɯꜜ(d)ʑisaɴ] (About this soundlisten)), located on the island of Honshū (the "mainland"), is the highest mountain in Japan, standing 3,776.24 m (12,389.2 ft). It is the second-highest volcano located on an island in Asia (after Mount Kerinci on the island of Sumatra), and seventh-highest peak of an island on Earth. Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708. The mountain is located about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo and is visible from there on clear days. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is covered in snow for about five months of the year, is commonly used as a cultural icon of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photography, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers.

A must while visiting Japan! It is quite tricky to actually see the top cause of the climate and significant humidity but it is definitely possible! A lot of souvenir shops around the 5th station (the last place where you can commute to by car). Cute little shrine with amazing views! Worth seeing!

Went there on the weekday and there’s not that many people there, and the weather is nice and not too hot. Overall the mountain are really clear and be able to see it reflected on the water. The traffic there are okay since it’s a commercial place it’s alright. You can live in the hotel right in front of it like I did which is pretty soothing, and most of them does have hot spring too. Highly recommended.

This has been my lifelong dream to see this beautiful volcano. If you are going to Japan, this place is a must visit. You will be surrounded by beautiful lakes, parks and ofcourse scenic Mt Fuji. We have taken a pass for Mt Fuji but it is not worth it unless you reach this place by 9am. You should try Appare boat ride and Ropeway to see Mt. Fuji properly.

One of the highlights of our visit was exploring the iconic Mount Fuji, whose shimmering facade reflected the beauty of its surroundings with an ethereal glow. Walking through the meticulously landscaped gardens of Silver Pavilion, was a meditative experience, as we marveled at the harmony between man-made structures and the natural world.

If you have the chance to do it, don’t hesitate and climb it! We started to climb at 3:30pm and arrive at the last station to sleep around 7:30, we slept until 2am and finish to climb during the night to reach the top in 1:30h (it could be way faster but there’s a lot of people and a lot of old people) I recommend !
Younes Benbousselham — Google review
most beautiful mountain I've ever climbed. Despite what you may read online, it's NOT an easy hike. Oxygen will be depleted by the 8th station. Do your research, check the weather, and make sure you can climb it and back before the last bus, or you will sleep on the mountain. Bring lots of water, snacks, and oxygen. It will take 4-7 hours to climb ONE WAY, depending on your ability.
Singularity Approved — Google review
Took the bus from Shinjuku which took us about two hours. Graced with clear skies had some amazing views of Fuji on arrival. We Rented bikes for three hours which cost us 1000 yen at a place right next to the bus station. Went for a ride around the area and had fantastic views. Would definitely recommend a trip to Fuji for anyone visiting Japan!
Rin Shima — Google review
This mountain is the reason this entire area is known. We couldn't travel up it due to the weather, but there are trails leading to it from various neighboring sites like small market towns, temples, and shrines. You can catch glimpses of its majestic beauty from everywhere. Seeing it at an angle where the sun glistens off its snow-capped peak is a real treat.
Leon Hady — Google review
Absolutely awesome! Great views, fun challenge, nice people and overall a very unique experience. I would say that you have to be fairly fit to make it to the top and you need at least decent hiking boots/shoes. The hut we stayed at was nice and cosy. Make sure you bring most of the snacks/drinks you need because it is pretty expensive already at the 6th station. But if you like nature and a physical challenge then Mt. Fuji is definitely worth it! I will be back! ❤️

Fuji Safari Park is a wildlife park that offers various safari experiences for visitors. You can choose to drive through the park in your own car, take a Jungle Bus with wire-netted windows to see and feed wild animals up close, or opt for the Super Jungle Bus with netted tops and sides. Another option is the Safari Navigation Car, where you can join a ranger in a 4WD vehicle for off-road driving and animal feeding.
Great place for family and kids. Food is also available at venue and quality is very good. Specially, local Burgers and soba is worth trying. As far as Safari is concerned, bus and self or rented car option is good. Safety cars are always there for your support. Many animals are so close to the vehicles Specially lions and zebras. Overall a great experience for children and for adults as well.

A beautiful place to enjoy the Mount Fuji View with wild animals and spend time with your family and friends. They managed it very well and patrolling time to time. It was a great fun experience driving through our own cars. It was exciting to see animals up & close without thinking about our safety. On the other hand, I wish they have more facilities like more restrooms, more restaurants and merchandise shops. That would have made the experience more enjoyable. But overall it was a very good experience. Must visit place.

We came here on a weekday morning and was glad it was not too crowd. We drove in a car and really enjoyed the safari. There are many variety of animals to see in the safari. Afterwards, there are petting zoo areas which was fun to visit too. There are 1-2 paid enclosures but we didn't visit tho. Snacks and drinks in the park are reasonable price as well. Highly recommended if you have at least 3-4 hours to spend here.
Chris Dilong — Google review
Went to a Safari Park in San Diego California but this was a little more exciting in that you get to drive around and be up close with animals crossing your path. The fee is reasonable (2700 yen) and plenty of parking spaces to park the car and check out the smaller areas where they have animals to see and feed. The actual Safari is pretty safe as they have park rangers heading the animals out of your way and keep a close eye on you and the animals behavior. It's a great place for couples and families with children and for all ages. Do follow the rules and keep doors locked and windows up because the animals may come close to your car window/door. There's a souvenir shop and a small food court area with benches to sit down and eat. Many things close around 1pm like the dog house was closed by the time I was finished with the Safari, so make time to see those after your safari trip.

At first I was kinda meh about coming here but then realized what a great place this is. Especially if you love animals and if you have a curiosity about them. From mountain goats to lions and tigers and zebras, they have them here to see by car or walk through ( fenced walkways) or by tour bus. The experience is unique to just going to a zoo. It seems well staffed and safe to visit as long as you follow the rules and don’t do anything stupid. There is a nice concession area for food and drink and a large souvenir shop that the kids will want to visit and empty your purse and wallets even more. Kids will love this place for sure! Plus you can see Fuji mountain as a backdrop.

Enjoyed it with the Fujisan as a background. Had a closer view of many Big cats,Bear and so on. Visited with a rented car which was the cheapest way to travel around Fuji. Booking online where I got 500yen cheaper than the actual ticket per person. The climate was sunny and had a clear view of Fuji which was I was expecting a lot. My visit tourist spot and worth the price

My family enjoyed our visit, we arrived at 9:30am and there were already 20-25 cars in line waiting to enter at 10am. It took us about an hour to take our own car through the park. Afterwards we visited the small ranch where my daughter enjoyed a short horse ride as well as a lap around the corral riding in the miniature horse pulled cart. We had enough time after that to take another ride through the park but this time on the bus to be able to feed the animals. Highly recommend, it was a fun time seeing some majestic animals with the beautiful background of Fuji-san.

So many cool animals and lots of great experiences. Safari drive where you feed the animals. Petting zoo areas, we visited the bunny house; they were such friendly rabbits and so well behaved. There was good food for lunch and overall a great experience. It was a rainy day when we visited but it didn’t impact our overall experience.

It was completely unexpected given we didn’t have a great experience in Ueno Zoo, but this is definitely worth visiting as a young family! Our 1 year old thoroughly enjoyed the animals roaming around freely as we took our time driving the car through the safari park.

Stumble upon this safari and went for it even though it was 1.5 hours drive from where we were. All sort of thoughts started to form in my mind if this doesn’t work out it’s gonna be a wasted trip and time. However, it is as nice as it’s high rated google reviews. Weather was perfect and animals were active. I chose to self drive through the safari and my decision proved to be right. The buses looks uncomfortable and restricted. Self-driving gives you the free choice of to-stay or to-go. So if you love watching lions, which the safari has at least 20-30 lions, feel free to stay longer in the section and let other vehicles overtake you. At the end of the self drive part of the safari, you will come to a section where there are small animals and you can buy some feeds to feed them. Not forgetting the roll of food stalls where we can feed ourselves. Sitting there in the cooling weather with Mount Fuji overlooking at you and eating your food is such relaxation we can’t find in Japan metropolis. Definitely recommendable.

We are so excited to watch wild animal just in front / beside our car. We choose to drive our own car for the tour. While slowly driving, we can stop by to see the animal from the window. We are not allowed to open car window / door. It is a well managed safari. The animal are well taken care, our safety is their priority & renjer is everywhere for ours & animal safety. Overall it's very exciting trip & worth venue to visit. Totally recommended!! Tourist from Malaysia 🇲🇾

A great place to go if you love seeing animals! You can go into the safari with your own car or use normal bus with nets on the window or the bus with net all around it. Since the tickets are first come first serve, I suggest to come here early and book a bus first before doing anything else. If possible I recommend taking the bus since you can feed the animals whereas if you're on your own car you can't. Without food the animals will not show any interest in your car. Other than the safari there is a dog house and I highly recommend it! It costs another 600 yen but the dogs are just cute and will sit in your lap. Other areas include an area where you can feed all kinds of animals. I allocated 3 hours for this park, but could have easily spent 4 hours here.

Safari Park opens at 10am but my husband read reviews online that we should arrive 1-2hrs before opening, so we also did our best and arrived about 1.5hrs before opening. We were 8th in line. We had purchased admission tickets online (valid for 3mo after purchase) so it was 1500jpy cheaper than the regular fee. We went in, parked, and I went to purchase the "Jungle Bus" ticket at the ticket center. (Husb and 6yo daughter came later, taking time to get off so as not to rush our 6yo.) We were able to secure our seats for the first bus of the day. Yay! These tickets go really fast, so if you don't arrive early enough, you might need to wait until the afternoon for your bus round. There really isn't much to kill time, so I think our strategy of arriving early before opening was worth it. Bus safari tour is about 50min, and they give you food to feed the lions, the bears, and the camels. Quite entertaining! Outside of the bus safari tour, you can feed a few animals (our 6yo fed the kangaroos, maras, guinea pigs, ponies, and the squirrel monkeys) and that was about the end of activities. Lots of restrooms which was very convenient when you're with a small child.

The park boasts an array of colorful flowers along clear walking paths. Admission is free for Gotemba residents, and visitors can purchase souvenirs from a small shop on-site.
Its an beautiful place located at Gotemba. Outsider must pay 200yen for entry and local are free of cost. Its about 5-10min by car from Gotemba Station. Area is not huge but good enough to make mind and heart calm by its natural beauty. Except rainy season, any season is recommend to visit. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Mt.Fuji inside the park. I personally like to visit during Sakura’s time i.e Spring and during autumn. The staffs are very friendly as well.

Beautiful place to visit (as is Hakone in general). Especially worth visiting for the packed Ashinoko Summer Festival which goes from July 31st to August 5th. Various performances, fireworks, torii burning on the lake and more. Hopefully the festival will be held as normal this year.

Lake Ashi also referred to as Hakone Lake or Ashinoko Lake, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture in Honshū, Japan. It is a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano that last erupted in 1170 CE at Ōwakudani. The lake is known for its views of Mount Fuji, its numerous hot springs, historical sites, and ryokan. The lake is located on the Tōkaidō road, the main link between Kyoto and Tokyo.

We took the short boat ride from one side of the lake to the other and It was an experience like no other. I haven't see a lake to beautiful until now. There is a need to preserve these natural wonders as they serve to refresh the human mind. It cleanses the soul for even a moment. Although I did not see Fuji-san, I was able to take some pretty swell pics of the shore-side torii.

Lake ashi is absolutely beautiful! We arrived to togendai after a short bus ride from our hotel. There at the base, lake ashi had the lovely pirate ships coming back into port. Shout out to the Evangelion characters everywhere & the cool human sized figure in the station! Definitely a fan favorite, fun fact the anime is set in Hakone and lake ashi & Owakudani appear in the series 👏🏼 After a short walk enjoying the water front we caught the Hakone Ropeway for a scenic ride up the mountain side, it was Picturesque to say the least. As we got higher in elevation we could see Mt. Fuji with it's donut cloud hats lol As well as plumes of white smoke emerging and bursting out from the area up ahead. When you arrive at the top of Owakudani if your an egg fan you must try the "Kuro-Tamago" as called by locals, aka black eggs or sulfur eggs. There's a legend about life expectancy around them. Check out my review of Owakudani for more! Of follow me on IG @ loverboy_lb420 ty!

Had udon here. Food was mid. However, I had the worst service experience. I visited multiple cities in Japan multiple times, and can still say that their service here was the worst even within that short encounter with the staff. The male staff at the counter who looks like he's in his 30s did not care to help even though I tried my best to communicate with a translator and all. He just walked away saying he doesn't understand. I would encourage the owner to have better staff members if you want business to be good.

(Translated by Google) I came here for the first time to see the clothes of a loved one. There are three areas, and it wasn't too tiring to walk around and look around. There are many high-end brand stores, as well as reasonably priced stores, so it's a place that can meet a variety of needs. There is also a Ferris wheel for children to play on, and best of all, there are spots where you can see Mt. Fuji beautifully, making it fun to take photos. For dinner, we went to the popular Kome Shokudo. I had high expectations for the rice, but I thought it was a little soft and the taste was average. The saury fish was delicious though. It's an order system like Marugame Seimen.

The limited edition black truffle burger is just divine, the taste of truffel on the beef. The original smoke shack are well made also, love the buns used here. The service top notch, spilled the beer and they exchange the new one without asking. That’s great service on top of great food..

If you like shake shack this is probably a good one? Clean, spacious and nice staff. I just don’t rate the burgers, fries or chicken at all. Seasoning and condiments are way out of whack and for the premium price it’s no go for me.

Had tried it times in New York, not much special at all, but this one here in Japan sure they have a heart to cook , beef not over cook nor too raw, they made it perfect cook & French fries not oily but crispy, just only beef flavour not strong enough. More importantly staff are nice, thx

The famous Shake Shack burger is a good idea after the shopping spree. We went on the weekends around 2pm+ and it was still crowded. I think the burger could use a bit more seasoning but overall it was very fresh and tasty. I also recommend the chicken bites they're pretty tender and juicy. The shop is also very large and efficient

The buns are warm soft and a bit gooey, meat is seasoned well enough but could be a little thicker for the price. The cheese sauce that is on the cheese fries reminds me of convenience store Nacho's cheese in a good way. Shake Shack is a little price for fast food but fine to visit once or twice a year.

So you walk into a self order screen. Choose a buzzer and enter the number on the buzzer to the screen. Then order and pay from the same screen. Take your buzzer and receipt and find a seat. It was pretty busy when we arrived. There was plenty seating and our food was ready extremely fast for how busy it was. Once the buzzer goes off just go to the pick up area, receive your tray of food and drink. (The drinks are on the smaller side). I had the avocado burger with cheese fries. It tasted so good. And the lemonade was very refreshing just small.

It’s a beautiful place for traditional Japanese sweets and desserts. Love the little stroll before reaching the cafe which is calm and peaceful on the day I visited. Not too crowded but with only Japanese crowd. I love the Sakura matcha mochi. Take note that goggle map bring us to the location of the office behind. If coming by car or bus please park at the big carpark which we can see along the main road

Beautiful setting. Arguably the best sakura mochi I ever had. But rediculous queue, more than 1 hour wait despite arriving literally 5 minutes after opening. Some items sold out in first 15 minutes. And stupid system where most of the cafe tables were empty during that hour of waiting but they make you line up anyway (to make it look more popular?) You have to clean up your own table too, which is unexpected at this price point

Benitora Kitchen at Gotemba Premium Outlets offers a flavorful dining experience with a variety of dishes and tastes. Visitors can enjoy MSG-free food with a decent palate, making it a great choice for those craving Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is known for its sesame spicy noodles, which come in three levels of spiciness. Guests often opt for the lowest level, finding it sufficiently hot.
This is my go-to for Chinese noodles in Gotemba. The sesame noodle is awesome. It's a bit spicy, but that is what you pay for. The meals are cooked quickly, and they are serviced with a smile. I have not had bad service at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and prompt. Go visit and see for your self!
