Omega3 is a renowned restaurant located in the picturesque Platis Gialos. The menu, curated by Sifnian chef Giorgos Samoilis, offers a delightful selection of raw pescatarian dishes featuring fresh catches and Greek produce. The ambiance is perfect for a leisurely dining experience, with pergola-shaded bar tables adding to the charm. Rumored to be frequented by celebrities like Tom Hanks and Bono, Omega3 promises an unforgettable feast for the senses.
One of the best seafood places in Greece! Set right by the sea, the cozy atmosphere, excellent service and redefined seafood menu will make dining a rewarding experience. Make sure you make a reservation as it can get really busy. Highly recommended.
anastasios dimas — Google review
Excellent seafood beach bar. The food is of the highest calibre, everything was mouth-watering tasty. There is great variety of dishes and almost all of them are original taste-wise. The service is extremely efficient, the personnel is well informed and orders arrive promptly. Speed is probably the only thing that doesn't sit well here: things arrive so fast that you can be in and out in half an hour. You literally have to keep ordering (which for us meant 8 plates for 2 people and a subsequent 200 euro bill) juts to make it through your bottle of wine. Probably best to just come for a quick bite and a glass of wine. That said, the food is so tasty it is impossible to rate with anything other than 5 stars.
Alexandra Kollaros — Google review
I have been to this place twice and both times I loved it. I definitely recommend that you try the raw dishes which are fantastic! For sure do a reservation because it can get pretty crowded. Overall food is really elevated Greek tavern style! Portions could be a bit bigger but its ok. Absolutely recommended!

Best meal during our Greece island hopping trip and one of the tastiest of my life. The chef/s are ridiculously talented, every dish blew us away with flavours and textures. Low key spot, set on the beach, no thrills in the best possible way with the focus on the food. The waiter was confident and helped navigate our food choices. Stand out dishes are the fish aquachile, the tarama (best we’ve had!), octopus but essentially I don’t think you can go wrong with any choice, we certainly didn’t. I will be dreaming of this lunch for many months to come! Thank you!
Zoe A — Google review
Unfortunately there seem to be some touristic places in Greece which are completely overrated due to some influencer/blogger hype. A general comment: Always ask a local. It does not always mean that you get bad food, but most of the time you get bad value for money. The same is true in this place. We have been living in Greece for 3 months now and this restaurant wins the award for serving the smallest dishes for the highest prices with an average taste (maybe slightly above average, but definitely not special and justifying those prices). My only advise, avoid this place and try the dozens of other outstanding seafood restaurants of the island.
Michael Mielach — Google review
Quite overpriced with small portions, sitting on the beach is far more better than the benches on the porch. Stools are very uncomfortable, contribute to the limited time for having to dine there. Anyways wine list is good, service is trying but isn’t trained well to cope with the asking menu prices. Avoid hours before sunset, since on both sides of the sitting area are beach bars with obnoxious families that might ruin your meal.
George Pissiotis — Google review
Always the best. Inventive, amazing flavours - far from your ordinary restaurant (which is why there are some less positive reviews - ignore them if you are ready to move into flavour town). Plus a fantastic Greek wine list. A reoccurring highlight of summer.
Troy Edwards — Google review
Small restaurant located on Platys Gialos beach. Service was professional and courteous. (You could tell the waitress had worked in high level restaurants in the past) Good wine options. All dishes were decent but none really stood out apart from calamari cacio pepe. All in all Nice for a good dinner
Theo Skag — Google review
I got this place recommended by a friend, I was not disappointed. The dishes are great, service is professional and fast. As you can see from the menu it’s a bit more pricey than the average, however the quality and type of dishes stand out. My favorite was the aguachile, also the calamari cacio & pepe are very interesting and very tender. I was not impressed by the wine, however there is a wide variety :)
Eduardo Giunti — Google review
I was worried this place wouldn’t live up to the hype but it absolutely did. The two of us shared four plates and were stuffed. I’m not sure what the reviews that talk about small portions are on about— we thought it was generous. Yes, it’s a pricey meal compared to local tavernas but we had amazing, creative dishes and a glass of wine for €60. The service is not particularly friendly, but fine.
Stephanie Hays — Google review
Not bad food, good service, nice atmosphere. However overrated as a restaurant. Very small portions. The prices are normal. The tables, in my opinion, uncomfortable. The cutlery before we sat down was dirty and we asked for it to be changed. The restaurant is in front of the sea and it has a deck with high stands and a little further down chairs and some tables below.
ΧΡΙΣΤΙΝΑ ΧΑΓΙΑΡΗ — Google review
I originally came to Sifnos because I heard about Omega3. Read somewhere that Tom Hanks ate here and loved it. The food is outstanding. My favourite dish is the Horse Mackerel, which is flavourful. Has a bit of a kick and just works well together. I could have eaten more of it last night. The scallops dish and the amberjack belly were also great dishes. I wish I could have tried the lobster dish but maybe another time. The chocolate tart was good. Though I was expecting something more after 3 amazing dishes. Don't get me wrong it was tasty... just not blow me away.

Greek restaurant
To Steki is a traditional Greek restaurant located in Sifnos, offering simple and inexpensive local cuisine and fresh fish right by the sea. The tavern provides an excellent dining experience with good service and a family-friendly atmosphere. With a large menu of traditional dishes, it's known for its delicious and authentic Greek food. Situated in a popular beach area, it offers not only great food but also scenic views.
One of the best, and one of the coziest places we’ve eaten during our two weeks in the Greek Islands. This family place called our eye from the boat, as it was full with people all day long. We were lucky enough to get a table in the evening, sitting under the trees in front of the beach. Everything was very delicious, especially the grilled meats as well as the seafood.
Markus De — Google review
Great place for traditional Greek food done right. Situated in one of the most popular beaches of the island, it's worth paying a visit just for the food alone. We had many starters and a few mains and everything was well prepared and tasty. All the traditional dishes were delicious and authentic. The only drawback was the service prior to ordering. They were slow and seemed a bit lost, however, the kitchen made up for the initial delay with their speed of getting thr food out. Worth paying a visit as you will get to sunbathe and swim all day and then have a great meal.
Joseph Premto — Google review
One of the least expensive restaurants in Sifnos! I quite liked the food. The salad was fresh and the fried anchovies were crispy. There are trees providing their natural shade and everything is by the beach, so the atmosphere is up there. In general one of the best restaurant experiences I had in the island. Recommend!
Anina Mimini — Google review
Just OK. Did not have what we wanted, even though it was on their advertisement. Greek salad ok. The first place in Sifnos where absolutely no desert was served. No large draft beer...
Dimitar Miriyski — Google review
At the same area there some more nice restaurants but this one is the most affordable one. If you are able to spend more, 30 meters away is the Omega3. But in this restaurant you won’t pay a fortune and you will eat well. I truly believe that this place is value for money. We paid 50€ and we had 5 plates including fish that is general expensive. So we had local falafel(revithokeftedes) that is a must, xorta, saganaki , fried calamary and small fish( fried gavros) plus beer and we paid 25€ per person and the food was enough, and we are greeks so we eat a bit more…keep that in mind! The food is really tasty and fresh! The kalamari wasn’t oily and with the right portion as well. The speed of service 🏆 And the waiters very polite. I would def recommend you to visit this place. Even if it’s full of people the service will be top notch!

This is a great place to eat in Platis Gialos. It is tucked away to one side and really private with a pleasant sea breeze. It has many traditional plates and all are extra tasty. I recommend tzatziki, octopus and greek salad. Also great beer!!
Petrut Iordachescu — Google review
The location is nice, almost right on the beach, the service was good and the staff were great. The food was alright even thought both the octopus and the squid were frozen not fresh. It was rather busy when we were there so maybe that's why the food was not as good as I've heard it usually is. I'd say the prices are reasonable for the location if not for the quality we expected.
Aspasia Kokkorou — Google review
We went here for lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The setting was amazing - sitting in the shade of the trees for lunch, or experiencing the sunset right next to the beach for dinner. I would definitely recommend the pork belly with a traditional Greek salad.
Bernard Swart — Google review
Lovely food… shame that they brought hot starters and main within 2 minutes from each other and as a result starters will end up not being eaten. A bit of common sense would be great!
Efstathios Diakos — Google review
Incredible food, amazing atmosphere, right on the beach! The restaurant was packed on a Sunday and Monday night. Lot of reviews about Omega3 which is few doors down. We are going to try Omega3 tonight. However, we ate dinner here two nights in a row and were so impressed. Must visit!

Great little tavern next to the beach with tables on the pavement under the trees. Simply wonderful. Service was very fast and staff really kind. Prices are decent and portions really good. We enjoyed all dishes and especially revithokeftedes and Octopus. House wine very good. Many choices of "ladera"

Extra yummy 🤤 dinner 🍽 yesterday in @maiolica.sifnos! The restaurant is located on the beach of Platis Gialos, Sifnos and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We chose to eat some seafood dishes and each of them was delicious one by one. The combinations were amazing. Congrats to the whole team! 👏Totally recommended!!

Fantastic - ate most of the menu, and it was unbelievably good. We were sent here by our friends at the excellent Nus restaurant down the road and it was an excellent recommendation

Compliments to Evi and the chef. We had an amazing time here! The service is impeccable, and the food outstanding. We had the cured sea bream, 🐙 octopus with hummus(must try), and the baklava for dessert. Bottles of wine here are reasonable at 25 euro minimum. Highly recommend coming here for a great time. Kudos to the team! Thanks again Evi!!

Really delicious food. Adored the chocolate pudding and the octopus - the best octopus I’ve had in Greece and this is saying something. Lovely friendly staff and great location!

I have a dinner on this restaurant. The location was perfect with the table near the sea. Service was very kind and helpful. Food was just good!

I have been visiting Sifnos island since 2019 and I need to say that Maiolica is the best restaurant for sophisticated greek flavours. I totally recoment it, excellent atmosphere, nice and polite people and extrordinary taste of food. If you visit this place do not forget to order the pasta dish with the zuchini sauce and fish, it was literally amazing. The view was extrordinary as well, since we enjoyed our dish in front of the beach.

This was one of the most memorable meals from our stay in Sifnos. The food was amazing and innovative, the service was top notch, and the location was stunning. It's a little higher priced when compared to other restaurants in the area, but well worth the splurge. Don't miss this gem!!

A magic night: the sound of the sea around us, our feet on the sand, but most of all the best waiters we've ever met, kind and available. The food is undescribable, it was simply perfect, 5 stars +.

Ever since I visited sifnos I keep coming back to this amazing mediterranean-fusion restaurant. One of the must-try's of the island with sophisticated combination of tastes, laid back atmosphere and friendly people. One of our favorites is the dish with tsipoura fish which you should definitely try.

An exceptional dinner on the beach. Food and service were both superb. Serving our 4yo daughter a simple, delicious off-menu pasta without blinking was equally as excellent. Highly recommended, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Stayed in Sifnos 4 nights and went here twice. Just like we had done 4 years ago. It was as memorable as then. A table on the sand, the subtle colors of the sunset in the breaking waves in front of you, exquis food and the friendliest staff. Evi was very knowledgeable and so warm and genuine. We took, the smoked eggplant, the potato salad( I had reservations but it was the best I have ever had) the octopus, the beetroot gnocchi, the pea guacamole and the taboulé. My husband also loved the zucchini stuffed crayfish. The cuisine is creative, festive, surprising with its colors and textures. Great selection of wines. We took the orange wine both times. Highly recommend for a memorable meal.

My favorite place in Sifnos by the beach. The view and the atmosphere are amazing. All dishes were delicious, based on greek cuisine with small touches of international flavours. Best part of our experience was the expert chef Dimitris and the polite crew of the service. Dont miss the sea bass with quinoa crust and the modern version of greek baklava with black lemon ice cream.
Fay Panoutsopoulou — Google review
Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant at platis gyalos. We ordered the pea guacamole with shrimps, sea bass with quinoa crust, potato salad and for dessert the baklava with homemade black lemon ice cream- All the dishes were delicious and had a modern twist! Our waiter Dimitris helped pick the perfect wine and made the whole evening for us a unique experience! Maiolica is in our opinion underrated and deserves a top spot on the list of the island SIFNOS! I recommend this place! First of all, the view is stunning during the day and at night. Moreover, the quality of the food and the service makes the experience even better! The cuisine mixes modern and traditional, quality and taste. The service was great, thanks to our waiter Dimitris, as well as the rest of the staff who was polite and available.

Amazing, wow great food. The whipped taramasalata with olive soil and lemon pearls was delicious. Seabass carpaccio topped with sea urchin and lemon oil was so fresh and zesty. Sea vegetable salad was outstanding. Finally a cod bao bun with pickled sweet onion and deep fried avocado was the perfect ending.

Very tasty row food and salad! As also the mojito! Service very good! It gets busy after 2 pm. Better attitude comparing to omega3 near by.

Ate here twice. Food excellent and honestly could have tried everything it all sounded so good (and simple!) Sea bream carpaccio (like ceviche ) was good but stand out was the orzotto with shrimp, sweet pepper and feta mousse. Chilled vibe and lovely wine.

We spent the bulk of our day here today and it was absolutely wonderful. We rented lounge chairs from the restaurant and had snacks by the sea. Later we had a leisurely lunch. The staff was absolutely lovely, courteous and kind. The food was among the best meals that I’ve had in the world. Incredibly fresh with seasonal ingredients and seasoned perfectly. We loved it so much we’re going back again tomorrow.

We spent the whole day here and if I could I would never leave. Outstanding service. Amazing food and cocktails. Fantastic ambience and a great vibe! Comfy lounge chairs with the best view of Sifnos. Would 10/10 come back. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic food with a seafront setting - absolutely beautiful views. Everything we tried was delicious including the cocktails on the beach prior to lunch. Would absolutely recommend.

WOW WOW WOW. This place! I loved it, the food is amazing, I got the shrimp tartare with kiwi sorbet and the tuna tataki. Still dreaming about both of them. The ambience is beautiful, staff is well prepared, extremely nice, smiley, makes you feel at home (especially the very chic stylish lady!). Shame I didn’t have the chance to come back a second time.

One of the best meals ever. Yalos offers a very unique menu with interesting combinations of familiar Greek flavours, with a modern twist and impeccable execution. Paired with an extensive wine list, the whole experience was one of the best we ever had. Andreas and the team made us feel welcome straight away, looked after us through out the whole evening and were attentive without being pushy. The dishes have a lot of work and thought put into them and we truly enjoyed every single bite. The location could not be better with tables literally on the sand. Definitely a must try restaurant in Sifnos.

Anticlimactic experience. We booked a beachfront umbrella set (2 beds) and proceeded with spending 160€ for 3 small plates of mediocre food and 4 bad drinks. (to add a positive note, both food and drinks were on the good-looking side). Our only aim was to return for the beach beds the day after but we were denied a reservation. Zero customer appreciation; neither returning, nor recommending.

We had a long travel day to Sifnos due to sea winds etc… we got there much later in the day and were very hungry! Yalos was recommended on Trip Advisor and my oh my did we have a dreamy night! The moment we walked in I was enamored by the design of the restaurant. Open, light, warm, natural…From the view of the full moon upon the lapping sea water, to the pairings and selections that “ D “ made for our preferences … we had the most scrumptious feast for our tastebuds! I have allergies and she also accommodated them. The wines were paired perfectly with the dishes. And the food was the absolute most balanced amount so that you could enjoy an app, dinner, drinks, and then absolutely have room for your own dessert! We went back again before leaving the area as it quickly became our favorite spot. The beach lounge chairs available for the afternoon with lunch are also magical. D is A dreamer with a mission and is excellent at her craft. You are lucky if she guides your meal choices ;) we will quite honestly come back to Sifnos to visit her and the restaurant!

Cafe-meze Misso Misso is an excellent establishment that offers fantastic ambiance, delectable cuisine, and impeccable service. The cocktails, particularly the mojito, are highly recommended. Additionally, their menu boasts flavorful options such as feta fried in filo, zucchini puffers, and grilled mushrooms layered with halloumi cheese. For a delightful surprise not listed on the menu, be sure to ask for their amazing pita bread.

Great place, great food, great service! We can definitely recommend the cocktails (mojito), feta fried in filo, zucchini puffers, grilled mushrooms stacked with halloumi and ask for the pita (not on the menu), which is amazing as well! Waiters are amazing and very chill - we got to sit on the sand/chairs with our drinks after eating and it was no problem! Can definitely recommend, we came back twice!

Dinner with friends. Nothing particularly special but service, location, price and menu options were great. Try the fried squid and order from a great selection of dessert.
Alex Pirpiris — Google review
I made a very simple request SEVERAL times, but they clearly did not want to indulge me. In the end I had to do it myself… two partial dishes on the same plate. I offered to pay double the whole price for each of the dishes BUT I wanted them served on the same plate. They brought out the two in different bowls, and so I emptied the two bowls onto a small plate… not even a full sized plate. It was pot-roasted beef and giant baked beans. Both with a tomato base. I have my reasons for requesting this… but they refused to oblige. I should also say that whilst the taste was quite good, both dishes were way too cold.

A nice looking beach bar with relatively expensive beach chairs but in a nice location. The drinks were average and did not excite us. So did the service.

20 minutes for a freddo espresso in the morning, gave them a second chance and went there for lunch. 45 min later I still didn’t have my chicken souvlaki, which I asked to cancel as I was not even hungry anymore after all that time. Waiter tried to teach me how long it takes to have a piece of chicken cooked, after that tried to charge me for the bread which I didn’t ask for.

One of the few places with sun beds that also have umbrellas. You can use them all day for €20. We liked the vibe, good prices for drinks and food, and the lunch was good too.
Ollie Dunoe — Google review
The place was not even half full on a windy day, but nonetheless as a solo traveller you had to pay for 2 sun beds. There was no possibility to just have one. Usually in many other places this isn’t a problem, especially when it’s not busy..
Evy Im — Google review
The umbrellas cost 30€, which is a lot given that the beach is not that great. The chairs were very comfy though. A single coffee costed more than 5€, again not worth it. The server was pleasant and nice though.
Dimitra Rimpa — Google review
Ridiculous prices to sit on the beach. The person that came to inform us of the pricing was unfriendly and snobbish. She informed us that we had to pay 40 € for the 2 chaise longues and 20€ minimum per person in drinks etc.!!! Insanity! The chaise longues on the left side of the bay are 7€ each and they don’t try to charge you for the air you breathe…so think again before going to this place…unless you like throwing your money in the bin in which case, enjoy!🤪
Despina M — Google review
Very disappointed, the price of a bed is 20€ per day (so 40€ for two beds and an umbrella) and 20€ of beverages/food per person is mandatory. Which makes 80€ for two people a day. Snobish and overrated. There is better in Platys Gialos.
Enrique Lázaro i Fontanet — Google review
Below average and overpriced restaurant. The view and the location is very beautiful. Apart from that - I do not recommend going there. The food was not very tasty and the vegan labelled dishes were not vegan. The service was rather ignorant.
