Lampi Waterfall

Nature & Parks
Waterfalls
Namtok Lampee is a stunning multi-level waterfall that can be accessed via a rainforest trail. The waterfall consists of several stages, with the water flow being particularly strong during the rainy season. However, visitors are advised to stay at the first stage during this time as the path becomes unclear and is overgrown with plants from the second stage upwards. Additionally, leeches are common during ascent beyond the second stage.
Very easy short walk for all ages to enjoy! Wheelchair accessible on wide walkway that leads straight to the waterfall view. There is a bridge crossing over the river that leads to a trail. There’s also a swimming area. Gorgeous location for a scenic picnic.

This was a lovely place to visit in the national park. 100bht is all it costs to gain entry. You can swim in the cool water and feed the fish too. It was so refreshing to have a little swim and its a beautiful place to see. We only wish we had longer there as we would have loved to take a walk round the national park.

Really nice waterfall, like most of them in Thailand. Great walk in the nature with beautiful surroundings. Did not get to the last level since it was getting dark. Love the swings above the river, you can get beautiful pics and the fish are really cool. Entry fee i think 100 thb plus 30 if you are with a car.

Beautifully waterfall. Several stages. During rainseason really a lot of water. But also in rainseason stay at the first stage! We tried to get all the way up. But the path was unclear and grown with plants. And from the second stage up it was full of leeches. We stopped our ascent and went down to the bottom.
Viviane Bronkhorst — Google review
It is O.k depends on the season your visiting. Easy accessible with motorbike no hills, if you buy the ticket for 100 thb there you can also go and see the next waterfall.
Naru Tu — Google review
Charming peace of nature to spend an hour or two. You can swim near the waterfall; it was not as cold as I'd expected. We've spent 230thb (100 per person plus 30 for car parking). But just in a few minutes the guards finished their work and left. So if you want to visit it for free, come here after 17:00.
Ivan Sydorenko — Google review
Three stage waterfall with lots of opportunities to cool down. May under the actual waterfall or in the pools. Not to crowded and not overrun by people. There was no trash laying around, people seem to respect this place and the nature and I think that is wonderful. At the bottom of the waterfall you can find toilets and maybe some food sellers. Entry fee was 200 baht.
Uberkinger Dojo — Google review
Very calm environment. Way to falls is a sensed forest which is a great welcome and adventurous feeling. Very well maintained roads. Pay per person for entry. Car park is huge. Small shop selling cold drinks and ice cream. Falls is 5 mins walk from car park. Very well maintained. Good spots for photo shoots. Water depth is reasonable to enjoy. As always Fishes , their territory so they keep tickling feet’s and thighs. Area is 75% covered by trees , it’s a divine feeling when you are in water. The water falls sound , surrounded by green nature and we are blessed to have a mild rain to flavour the mood. Fortunate .

Excellent waterfall, three floors can be visited, two of them can be used for swimming. Interesting suspension bridge. At the very top of the waterfall it is also very beautiful, but the trail is for the strong in mind and body. There are rangers who, if anything, can help you

Beaches
When venturing to the picturesque Talay Mueang beach, visitors will encounter Khao Na Yak, a mountain peak that offers breathtaking views. To access this hidden gem, one must travel a distance of approximately 8 kilometers along a road that leads straight to the park entrance. A lesser-known secret passage exists beyond the local villagers' knowledge. While cars equipped with a 44 drive system can navigate the path, motorcycles may prove more convenient.
Clean, long & quiet beach. Not easy to go, so less busy. Great for day trip but it's too hot.

We did not find it. We put on GPS this destination and we arrived in the middle of nowere. Please check it twice on google maps. The GPS took us on a paralel arm of this destination with no option to arrive there from that point. You can always tell a well-run organization, when the staff is happy, cheery, and helpful. That has been my experience at this golf club for nearly a year and it keeps getting better. I can't say enough about the greens and the maintenance.... just top notch!
John Campos (johncampos808) — Google review
When you drive in it looks very impressive and really nice. Very inviting. Check in was easy right next to the pro shop. Driving range very nice and modern with automatic ball spenders Immaculate t-boxes and fairways like you won’t find anywhere else. Outstanding green keeper. What ticked me off they were aerating greens and fairways, without telling us when booking. There was no price reduction either. So don’t play here the next two weeks and ask before. Not a difficult track with wide fairways makes a good beginners course. Caddies we had weren’t half as good as on other courses. The locker room is stunning. We had dinner and would highly recommend to eat there.
thedi grau — Google review
This is a great golf club for enjoying golf. Fairway conditions create the illusion of a green! You can enjoy golf while looking at the Andaman Sea! A tablet that allows you to view the course and manage your scores! The shower facilities are also top-notch! The staff's service is perfect! You can enjoy golf at a low price by checking the sports day and twilight promotions before visiting this place and making a reservation.
BOURNE LEE — Google review
Cannot recommend Aquella more highly as part of any Phuket based golf trip. Only 1hr 20min from Patong it is an absolute must play. Unbelievable quality facility. Was blown away and needed a minute on every tee box and green to just take it All in. You will not regret it! Amazing staff, service level, restaurant for breakfast and works class locker and shower facility.
B Mac — Google review
Played the course today from the boue tee and found the course to be in great but limited condition for its greens, greens fringes & bunkers (on the heavy side). However, the fairway was in patchy undesirable condition and this is probably due to the recent heat wave around this time of year in Thailand. The course layout is very much flat in nature with their signature hole being Par 3 that is nearest to the Andaman Sea. Almost all holes involve water element and accuracy in play is key. The greens were very receptive and played fast @ stimpmeter of 9+ at the time of play. The clubhouse, changing rooms & staff services & friendliness were all of the highest standard and one would not regret playing here. Just hope that their fairway recovers soon or during your round. It is highly recommended to stay nearby for golf in Aquella and nearby Khao Lak/Bang Gha courses or one risk the long travel distance of easily an hour each way. Truly a journey if one comes from Phuket.
James Lim — Google review
Excellent golf course about an hour north of Phuket. A few notes though before you play .. highly recommend booking the sunset rate if you can (2:30 or later) the price is less that half of what you pay otherwise, 3400 vs 1550. Also .. bring a glove and balls... You can buy at the pro shop but they are pricy. Otherwise, enjoy your time ! Pace of play was quick and finished in 2 hour and 20 min

New golf course. The staffs are very nice. We came on Monday so it's cheaper than usual. The caddy is also professional and has good advice. The facility is new. Shower room is nice. The restaurant looks great but we don't have time to dine there. We also got free range practice (1 ball tray) before tee off. All in all, I would recommend this place.
Tarn Siripanichgorn — Google review
I'm a 7 HC and thought the course was great. Many nice holes and the course was in great shape. The greens were running about 9 on the stimpmeter and ran true. The club rentals are new Titleist and even had stiff shafts available! The caddies were polite and helpful. Even the burgers and beers were good!
David Johnson — Google review
Arguably the nicest course in the Phuket area. Very good conditions, great course, top notch service. Attended a tournament, everything was perfect from start to finish and really good dinner buffet! Worth the drive North!
The Nadon Travels — Google review
Everything was great except 99% of the grass between the tees and green (which themselves were both good). The grass was not taking to the sand below resulting in an inch of carpet like dead, moist grass laying on a bed of sand. Such a shame, because this course has so much potential if they would only sort it out. Until then the course is basically unplayable.

Beautiful place and great manageable hike through the jungle to get there. We had a baby and my dad 8n his mid 70s with us and it was the best choice for a day out. The waterfall itself is impressive over a bed of rock and pools at the bottom with hundreds of fish that nibble on your feet. Bring swimming trunks bathing suits...we missed that unfortunately. Recommended.

A short (600-700 meters) very well-maintained trail ending in a waterfall. Considering that I was there during Thailand’s astronomical summer (March), the amount of water was impressive. There is a small pool at the bottom where one can take a dip.

Swimming in the waterfall is a must !!! 😉 This is one of the few waterfalls where swimming is allowed. There is a small fee to visit this place, but it's worth it! at the entrance you can feed the fish, in the river that flows from the waterfall channel. And take a walk through the well-groomed territory. The path itself to the waterfall is 650 meters, where you will enjoy the beauty of the wild jungle and see many inhabitants of flora and fauna🙃 and can even ride a liana.

Lovely little local restaurant with great Thai food and drinks. Friendly staff, nice play area for kids. Great juices too. The only thing I wish Thai restaurants did, was use less plastic. Each drink we ordered had two plastic straws. We only needed one for our two year old. This ends up in land fill and often in the sea. During the time we stayed there, it rained a lot and we saw all the plastic washed up for ourselves on the beach each day- heaps of it. For something we didn't even use. Also heaps of plastic cups 😕

Mali Asian Spices offers a diverse range of Thai and Indian cuisine. Although their paneer dishes were unavailable during low season, they provided options like chicken biryani and plain naan bread. The biryani had ample portions of chicken breast, flavorful with a subtle hint of spiciness, but somewhat dry. It would have been better to pair the dish with chicken leg or thigh for improved digestion. The nan bread was warm, fluffy, and crispy at the edges.
Honestly the best food we’ve ever had in Thailand! The food here is to die for and the staff are all so lovely and accommodating. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area! We have 0 complaints! Thanks guys!

This restaurant near Khao Lak Merlin Resort is a wonderful combination of Thai Food, Indian Food and Seafood. It offers a wide selection of dishes including fantastic vegetarian dishes (which is very important for me as opposed to my husband - who loved the Chicken Satay and various great BBQ dishes). Delicious authentic food and very friendly and accommodating staff. Good cocktails, too. Great recommendation also for veggie/non-veggie couples/groups. Can very warmly recommend this place.

Delicious Thai food and fair prices. I don’t understand the high prices for the Indian food (it’s basically the same ingredients with other herbs but double or triple prices) The big but: the waiting time is ridiculous! We waited nearly a hour from order till the dish was on our table. Please improve the service here. Inform the customer about the waiting time and offer some snacks during waiting. Just leave the customer not knowing how long it will take makes me feel angry. The girl at the entrance is very kind and seems to be the only one who understands customer needs. 3 stars could be 4 or five, if the service would be appropriate here

Mali has a wide variety of dishes on offer, both Thai and Indian. I wanted to try one of their paneer dishes but sadly, due to low season, it was unavailable. I then opted for a chicken biryani and a plain naan bread. The biryani dish contained a very generous portion of chicken breast pieces and was quite flavoursome with just a hint of chilli heat. However overall, I found it to be a little dry. I think chicken leg or thigh would have complimented the dish far better than breast, making it easier to digest. The nan bread was excellent, warm and fluffy and crispy around the edge. Staff in Mali were very attentive and friendly. The dinner was very reasonably priced, 280 baht including a small coke. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

First of all, I enjoyed the conversation with them. But we just couldn't agree with the food and the price came out unreasonably. The Indian chicken was way....too salty to be tasty. Besides Indian food we ordered bbq squid and curry crab, both of them just crossed the pass line. But we found out the price is nearly double of what we expected(we ordered these severel times from different restaurants during our 9-day trip in Phuket) . Better not to order sea food there. Only the Indian fried rice was little spicy but good.

We enjoyed a great meal here, with a refreshing drink, overlooking Lam Kaen Beach. Nana's is a "no frills" restaurant, old wooden tables and plastic chairs but it all adds to the charm. We dug our toes into the sand as we took in the wonderful sunset. Our mains were a chicken curry and a spicy seafood dish, both bursting with flavour and we ended the evening sharing a mango and sticky rice dessert, delicious. Prices here are very reasonable, probably the cheapest in the area. Two mains, two plain rice, a side of veg, one dessert, a large beer and a soft drink came to the princely sum of 690 baht, amazing value! If you are in the area for any length of time Nana On The Beach is a must visit.

We've had dinner there a couple times as it was recommended to us by another couple that has been to Thailand for several years now. They told us "to not look into the kitchen too closely" which we'd like to recommend to anyone. Thus, without missing a beat, Nana is the place to go if you want authentic Thai food with an amazing view of the whole sunset over the sea. You should try several dishes as each one has it's own flavors and is unique. The prices are absolutely fair and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We went there for dinner and ordered some appetizer and a main dish. Spring rolls and wonton were very good. The mains were ok but nothing too special. Prices were definitely fair. Even though there were a lot of people in service (all of them very friendly) it took them quite a while to take the dirty dishes and no one asked for more drinks - and they forget to bring us the drinks we ordered when we asked.

Great food and friendly staff! We ate several meals here during our stay in Khao Lak and were very happy with all of them. Especially the fried rice with shrimp was a favorite both for us adults as well as the kids. This place gets our highest recommendations.

Very good value for money! (Yes we are Dutch😆)Tasty and spicy Thai dishes. You must try the Thai red curry chicken and the home made spicy fish sauce. Friendly service with big smiles and personal tips how to combine your dishes. Fresh charcoal grilled fish and lobster! Genuinely interested. You will return. Warmly recommended!

Decent Indian menu. I think they have Indian chef. We had Dahl tarka, aloo ghobi, saag paneer, 2 pieces tandoori chicken, saffron rice and garlic naan which came to 970 baht. It was Buddha day so no alcohol was served but we took our own wine which they put in an ice bucket for us. Food was good, hot and tasty but could have been more spicy for my taste but I'm a chiliholic.

Worst experience ever. We where handed indian menu cart but when we wanted to order, indian was not possible. Then we ordered something else and the dishes was served with 22 minutes difference so the first person was finished before we had our dishes. Besides quality and price does not match. Stay away -;there are many other good options

Staff was very attentive and friendly. Service perfect. Food served quickly and delicious. Crispy Papaya salad needs a little work. Thank you!

Wery under average touristic restaurants, please go to authentic Thai instead. For Americans, I recommend it. Prices are also almost double as in others restaurants in thailand.

The staff is awesome and they adapt the food after our needs. I love to try new places but me and my wife got stuck here. 10/10

Really nice place, clean and friendly. We ordered only vegetarian dishes- spring roll, papaya salad and vegetarian Pad Thai. I recommend those dishes.

The Garden Bamboo Bungalow offers charming bamboo cottages nestled in a lush tropical garden. While the accommodations do not have air conditioning, the provided fan and mosquito net ensure a comfortable stay. The beds are noted to be firm, and the shower is described as excellent. Guests can enjoy fast WIFI and reasonably priced breakfast options. The property is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from a beautiful beach, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility.
Quaint bamboo cottages in a tropical garden. No AC but the fan kept me comfortable under a mosquito net. The bed was hard even by Thai standards. The shower was good. WIFI was fast. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. It's about a 10 minute walk to the very nice beach.
