Beach club
Located on the west coast of Bang Tao Beach, Catch Beach Club is a popular destination for locals and tourists in Phuket. It offers an Andaman beachfront experience with an infinity pool, cabanas, spa treatments, al fresco dining, and two bars. The club is known for its swanky eats and awesome music, pioneering the concept of a seaside hangout.
Premium fancy beach club with sun beds and tables for rent. Prices start from 4000 bat for 2 adult people for the entrance as deposit, which you can spend on food and drinks from the restaurant. Food was delicious! Everything was cooked and served very well, the stuff is friendly and supportive.

Good vibes and fantastic location. Beach club layout designed to give that open spacious feel whilst maximizing the ocean views. Squid starter, nicely battered and fried. Crispy and soft. Wagyu burger... soft, cheesy and saucy Australian rib eye steak cooked to perfection, med rare, taste wise amazing.

Nestled on the pristine shores of Phuket lies a hidden gem, Catch Beach Club. Although the prices may be higher, they are well justified by the prime location overlooking the picturesque beach, the exceptional quality of the food, and the great service. We were delighted to see that the staff at Catch Beach Club were very welcoming to families with toddlers. The little ones were kept entertained on the beach while we could unwind and enjoy the stunning view and mouth-watering dishes.

Incredible service, immaculate atmosphere and the best DJ I've ever heard. The food and drinks are out of this world, and the location is just perfect! Can't wait to go back! Went back twice for cocktails and food, but only once with a phone.

Another amazing dinner staring at 4:30 pm and finished at 10:30 pm!! Five star ⭐️ all the way for the vibes, service and food - outstanding hospitality!! A few of us just went here to go watch the sunset and it was spectacular ! The music they were playing the hustle and bustle of all of the people buzzing around the bar, getting cocktails and enjoying life to the fullest ! What a great beach club vibe ! A MUST visit when in Phuket! The seafood extravaganza was one of the most amazing platters. I think I’ve ever seen in my life.! if you are seafood lover, definitely order this, because it was worth every single penny! One of my personal favourites was the blue crab salad, the Thai beef salad, the seafood ceviche, the Wagyu beef burger 🍔, the lamb chops … the list can go on and on! They also have vegan burger options which I thought was great 😊 Not a single dish was disappointing!! Everything we ordered and also the F&B manager helped to choose and brought our extras dishes for us to try as well! He was so nice! In the photos I’ve written in the captions the names of the dishes!! I would highly recommend this to go in the late afternoon and stay the after sunset!! The music gets turned up and gets better and better with of course many cocktails 😂 which by the way are all delicious. We had a couple of them and boy they were so deliciously different.! Highly recommend Catch Beach 🏝️ Club and make sure you bring a bathing suit and a beach bag cause ya’ll won’t wanna leave this place anytime soon! Follow Fauzia for more on YT, IG AND FB!! 💞💕💞💕💞💕!!

Overpriced, see and to-be-seen, staff was a bit chaotic at the beginning, good service later, cheeseburger was average, they have also beyond-meat options... ok, not great...

I like the place. Good location. Good food/drinks. The staff at the bar and restaurant are friendly and professional. However, the guy in charge of the towels and umbrellas by the beach needs more training and needs to learn to be polite to the customers (I’m not going to mention his name).

Best beach clubs in the world. All perfect but a beach volleyball court is missing. Music, food, bar all amazing. A must see place
Emir Akdogan — Google review
This is an upscale place with a beautiful ambience for grabbing some snacks and drinks and enjoying the beautiful music that plays among the sound of beach waves. Went and sat close to the waves with a pizza after drinks and it was honestly a healing experience. Do come here if you’re looking to give your mind a break from all the chaos.

This a great place with a great atmosphere and energy. We ordered seafood tower which was perfect and extremely fresh you could taste the sea. DJ playing and the sun setting wow! Must go!

Great food and amazing atmosphere with an ok service. As you always have to look for someone to help you. The only thing we didn’t like was them telling us that we have to leave at 6 PM after arriving at 4:30.

One of the best beach clubs in Phuket! Worth the drive up here, service staff was extremely attentive and amazing. Had a wonderful chill cocktail afternoon and even got to get on a jet ski by the beach. Food was 10/10 my favourite was definitely the oysters, it’s so fresh and juicy. Highly recommend to book the pool Salah to chill after swimming as it’s super comfortable!

Catch Beach Club is truly exceptional. The restaurant boasts amazing food, a cool atmosphere, and live music, making it a top-notch dining experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful blend of great cuisine and vibrant ambiance.

If you want loud dance music at 4pm in the afternoon and fantastic cocktails while watching the sun set at the beach, this is probably the place for you 🤩

I absolutely love Catch Beach Club in Phuket! It has become my favorite go-to place, especially for their Sunday brunch, which is nothing short of a culinary delight. The buffet line is meticulously curated, featuring both hot and cold dishes prepared by professional chefs, showcasing their expertise and passion for food. From fresh oysters to decadent foie gras, the variety and quality of food available are exceptional, ensuring that there’s something to satisfy every palate. What truly sets the Sunday brunch at Catch Beach Club apart is the incredible beach vibes and music that accompany the dining experience. The ambiance is unparalleled, with stunning beach views that complement the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and indulge in some of the finest cuisines while soaking up the sun and enjoying the rhythmic beats of great music. This combination of fantastic food, ambiance, and location makes it my favorite brunch spot on the island. However, a word to the wise: make sure to book your spot in advance! Catch Beach Club’s Sunday brunch is extremely popular and gets very crowded. The demand is a testament to the quality and appeal of their brunch, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists in Phuket. If you’re looking for an unforgettable brunch experience with breathtaking beach views and exquisite food, Catch Beach Club is the place to be. Don’t miss out on this gem in Phuket!

The place is pretty. Great serving size and delish food !

The sea is green, it smells of mud. I ordered a burger and a quesadilla with chicken. The price and quality do not match! The quesadilla is overcooked in burnt stinky oil, the burger is dry and not tasty. Cheap truffle paste was added to the sauce. In general, I do not recommend it. The pool is small.
Ekaterina — Google review
Very chill beach facing restaurant with a variety of Thai and international food. It was drizzling when we were there but it still did not spoil the mood. I had the Wagyu Cheeseburger and it was awesome! The beach club is open to the public and has pool and lounge chair facilities for paid-usage. Lots of parking.

Bang Tao Beach, also known as Bangtao, is a stunning stretch of white sand and clear blue waters located between Patong and the airport in Phuket. It's one of the longest beaches on the island and has become a vibrant and laid-back destination in recent years. The area is filled with luxurious resorts, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Patong.
Awesome beach, great location. Slow and quiet when we were there. Nice market there every Thursday to get some food.
The Buzzard Family Escapades — Google review
Nice quiet beach. Lots of areas with shadow. Nowadays looks a bit sad and sloppy, big area with boats at the entrance, sand is not that silky because of the conifers that surround the area. There are places to eat or drink something
Stefan Jipa — Google review
Nice beach ! Lots of people , but not to overcrowded. At this moment ( and last 3 days ) it’s jellyfish warning. People still swimming. Can rent sun lounge, jet ski, paddle board, kayak and so on . Can get 2 h long tail boat trip to small island and beach but price is bit pricey 2000 b (something like 44 £ ) . Beach has cafes . It’s long and beautiful.
Sintija Rubene — Google review
If you don’t like crowd and don’t won’t to be bothered by drink sellers. Take a towel and come here. Simply put your towel on a small slope of the beach and lay yourself down for tanning!

This is a long stretch of Beach and it's fairly underdeveloped and it's nothing special. I've been spoiled with beautiful beaches in Australia side of this beach is okay but certainly not up to some of the Australian beaches. It's Pleasant to watch the sunset but otherwise it's just a beach
Jeff Savage — Google review
Beautiful and quiet beach with white sand and blue clear waters. Very chill atmosphere and not busy, which was great. It is located 30 minutes by car from Patong area. There are many options to rent a sun bed and umbrella and enjoy the relax vibe of this 5 km long beach nicely integrated with nature. Plenty of options for food and drinks at reasonable rates as well. For a lunch we paid 850 BHT (we had shrimp fried rice, shrimps with vegetables and 2 fresh juices) and got access to the sun beds and umbrella.

Amazing place for a sunset. I believe I found the greatest itinerary if you have an evening flight out of phuket Airport. After our stay in phuket for the weekend we left our hotel around 1pm and went to an elephant sanctuary, this took about 3 hours including drive time and with our flight departing at 9pm we decided it would be a great thing to go here and watch the sunset and have some yummy drinks! It was one for the books!

Bangtao has the longest beach in Phuket, approximately 5 km in length. The water is clear, the sand is whiter than Nai Thon beach. It’s a very beautiful one. Love it.
ThaiTrav Travel Guide — Google review
There are numerous beautiful beaches along this stretch of coast, some unspoilt and others with a lot of restaurants and bars but it's not a rowdy area, but more upmarket than some others areas of Phuket. Expect to pay UK prices in Phuket. Beer price similar to UK but wine is about double the UK price. This area is very popular with Russian visitors. No issues encountered.
Jim O'Toole — Google review
Definitely one of the better beaches in Phuket. I visited in low season so not many tourist around. It is one of the longest stretch of beach in Phuket. South side has some more entertainment. Mid section is called laguna beach and has more holiday homes behind it. North part is my favorite, laguna beach towards Sirinat park is beautiful and more quiet. Some underdeveloped Thai food places cater for your needs and you can easily park your car under the trees and just chill. The waves are bit lower here aswel. Water doesn't retreat as much at low tide as some other beaches in Phuket, so not revealing rocky bottom.
Alexander Schoonderwoerd — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. The waves are big but the water was not deep. Extremely picturesque and worth waiting for the sunset. Sat for many hours just enjoying the sea breeze and taking in the beautiful sights
Elaine Quek — Google review
A little crowded but calm & serene. I went just before the rain came and found a big wave with a sea breeze. Fantastic beach near Laguna, There are star-quality resorts on the batch.

A Serene Beach Escape Away from the Crowds! Discover the beauty of this secluded beach, a hidden gem in a less-explored tourist destination. With its tranquil shores, you'll find it refreshingly uncrowded, attracting mainly locals and expats seeking a peaceful retreat. The charming and welcoming beach sellers add a delightful touch to the experience, making it a fantastic place for a laid-back hangout.
Tahsin Engin Gökten — Google review
Disappointing. Too crowded, sea is not clear as it is used to be...traffic wise is a nightmare. They did spoil the whole of Phuket unfortunately... Ridicoulous beach clubs...very expensive hotels (that do not provide super services any more)...
Gloria S H McNamara — Google review
I haven't been to this beach since last year. The sea is nice and easy to swim. The beach is clean. Staff of the restaurants and beach chairs are very welcoming. What I regret, but it's only my appreciation, is that this place is losing part of its charm because of the multiplication of restaurants, massages, beach chairs and sun umbrellas... I do prefer the beaches North of Phuket which are less crowded (at the moment)
Michel Kluska — Google review
Brilliant beach, would rate 9/10. Lovely white sand surrounded by palm trees, a true tropical paradise. Plenty of beach bars lining the beach where you can enjoy a drink, food and hire sunbeds for very modest prices. The sea is about waist height (I'm 5"6') for about 30 feet before getting to swimming depth. Waves are variable, out of the 3 days I've visited they have been calm, but one day was rather rough (was following the blue moon on 30/08/23, which may have affected the tide). Just check for the fed flags and ensure you don't swim in between them. If not a strong swimmer, or have children, take extra caution. All in all though, it's a lovely beach, I'd recommend Maya beach club for music, Aloma for sunbeds and drinks or Golden fish for lovely seafood.
MiniGaming HD — Google review
This is a clean, sheltered beach. It's quite long so good for walking. There are many beach bars and restaurants. Lots of activities are available too such as jet ski rental, parasailing, banana boats. Some bars have water taps to rinse off sand. Great place for swimming, not very many rocks underfoot when in the water.
Barry Musgrave — Google review
Bangtao Beach spans 6 km in length, making it one of Phuket's longest beaches, halfway between Phuket airport and Patong Beach on the island’s west coast and part of the Cherngtalay area. With such a beautiful stretch of sand, it’s no surprise why Bangtao has become the home of some of the largest and most luxurious resorts on the island, such as Banyan Tree Resort, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Angsana Phuket Resort, and SAii Laguna Phuket Resort. Bangtao is also where you can find dozens of local restaurants and beach clubs right on the beach and eat or drink with your feet in the sand. For the most part, it's pretty deserted – hotels mostly occupy its southern end, while the northern end is generally very quiet and peaceful. Only a few small beach bars are dotted along its length. The sea is flat, calm and clear from November to April. The waves can get a little rough between May and October, so take note of red flags on the coastline. Bangtao Beach attracts those looking to leave everything behind and do nothing more taxing than reading a book. The exception to this rule is if you're at the southern end of the beach. There are several beachfront hotels and beach clubs, resulting in a very lively atmosphere in the evening. However, Bangtao remains one of the most family-friendly beaches in Phuket. In front of the Laguna hotels, local beach shacks sell everything from snacks and drinks to beachwear and tours. Note that Bangtao Beach doesn't have public toilets.

Surin Beach is a picturesque white-sand beach with clear turquoise waters and options to rent chairs and umbrellas. It's recommended to explore Phuket's West Coast, starting from the south end at Phromthep Cape and making your way up to Surin Beach. The beach is more compact and relaxed than others in the region, offering a romantic atmosphere despite recent development. While most hotels are upscale, they don't directly face the half-mile-long beach.
I visited this beach almost every morning while I was staying at a hotel nearby. There are so many fishes under the water around the rocks!!! Water is so clear and you can see fishes even from above the water! You should bring your goggles:) Sunset from this beach is also amazing!!

Love this beach. Waves can get a bit big for the small kids in the low season. Awesome sunsets. Great food and bars.

Surin Beach is the best beach I have ever been to. White sand and wonderfully clean sea. Do not go too far into the water if you cannot swim. It suddenly gets deep. You can buy street food all along the beach, and everything tastes heavenly.

Nice beach, but bit crowded. Nice small market/stalls with various food options and Thai massage. Recommend spot to watch the sunset.

Really quiet and nice beach. Just the swimming zone with lifeguard is too small and sometimes far from where you relax. Good restaurants along the beach like Audy restaurant..

This beach really is a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Safe and locals also lots of food and drinks stores behind the beach. It’s a low season and the waves are higher than normal. But still swimable tho not recommended. White sand beach is to be expected and if you see the commercial about Thailand beaches, this definitely the one that won’t disappoint you.

Nice beach for swimming. Good food quality and reasonable price level in the restaurants. Always great service for the staff. Recommend!

Great beach to visit for the day. Very chill vibe. North side has lots of shade and families, south side is quieter. No obvious hotels and many great food vendors in very close proximity with the option to order to your shaded sun bed or eat at their tables. Nice to walk on beach or in the shaded beach vendor walkway just above. Public bathrooms are avail. Really recommend if you want to get away from the crowds.
Irene Sudorgin — Google review
I like this beach. More quiet than others nearby and great place to swim as exercise bc the current can be strong here. And not many jetskis drive in the swimming areas. After the first day we came here they got rid of the chair & umbrella rentals, so bring a something to sit on or a hammock. If you don’t bring anything people rent/sell beach-mats and inflatable chairs to sit on. I like the restaurant Audy and No Name restaurants. They’ve both always served us tasty, clean, and low priced food.

One more beautiful beach. The water is so pure, clean and warm. You can make a massage, eat thai food and drink fresh coconut. And to see the most beautiful sunset. :)

Usually I LOVE this beach and the patrons, but today I was attacked by a local fishmerman here. I will NOT return to this beach! NO WAY! I like to swim and snorkel the north side of the beach (along the rocks) but today there were about 7 or 8 young males fishing (roughly 20's to early 30's). So I swam out past them, far away from the rocks. While I was swimming past them,, one of the guys intentionally cast his line at me!! 😲 The bobbing ball hit me on the top of my shoulder. When I looked up, he was laughing to his friends. Really disgusting and EVIL behavior! It would have been truly tragic had his hook hit my neck or face. I will NOT be returning to Surin Beach. Nor will I recommend it. Nice sunsets But not worth an emergency room visit!
Jia Moon — Google review
My favourite beach but it's changing so much. This beach always has blue water and is deep very fast good swimming. Don't both looking at restaurants on google maps there's probably 30 here, all will serve you at tables or on the beach. The north part of the beach have the best prices with 60 bht beer and 100 bht cocktails. Sooooooo good.

The vista from this beach has a stunning sunset. There are no litters and everything is fairly tidy on the beach. In my opinion, this is the most visited location on Phuket for sunset.

Green Elephant Sanctuary Park is a lush sanctuary nestled in the jungle near Surin Beach, providing a natural and safe home for rescued elephants. Visitors can participate in guided tours to feed, bathe, and care for these gentle giants under the supervision of experienced elephant trainers. Founded by two Swiss nationals with a passion for improving the lives of elephants in Thailand, the park operates according to European animal protection laws.
Amazing place! Highly recommend this if you visit Thailand. Staff are amazing, friendly and you can tell they love their job. Fascinating to learn about the elephants and their relationship with their lifelong Mahout (carer) and the life they live. How refreshing to visit a tourist destination with no souvenir shop, no extra cost for professional photos and a beautiful Thai meal included at the end as part of your tour. Plenty of opportunity to feed, bath and pat this beautiful creature on your experience. Best experience in Thailand.

Ethical sanctuary that truly deeply cares for the well-being of the elephants. I loved that they continually work on finding and saving elephants. They recently saved a mama and baby elephant. No chains, no whips, no riding all happy healthy elephants here!!! I loved cleaning the elephants it was truly an incredible experience! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic place. Really amazing to spend time with the elephants, feeding them, washing them. The people here are really passionate about the animals and giving them the best care possible. The food is also quite nice! Do visit and support this sanctuary!

Very good experience here. It seems to me that the workers actually care about the elephants well being are not afraid to tell visitors to stop doing something if they don’t think the elephant will like it. The food at the end was better than expected and all of the staff were very pleasant. I would recommend anyone come here if they are looking for elephants that are treated with love and respect.

We booked our excursion to Green Elephant Park before arriving in Thailand. We were considering several different locations, but I'm so glad we settled on Green Elephant. They will pick you up at your hotel and transport you to and from the park, which is pretty common. The experience from start to finish was wonderful. The staff all speak great English, and are very accommodating. They explain everything in great detail, and you don't ever feel rushed like there are too many people. They give you an explanation of what they do there and how the park runs, how the rescue their elephants, etc. The time you get to spend with the elephants is amazing. Feeding them, taking pictures, playing in mud, and washing them is all such a wonderful experience. The elephants are well taken care of by the staff and their “mahouts”. I love that they provide professional pictures at no additional cost. The Thai buffet provided was also surprisingly good. Water is available throughout your excursion, as well. If you are looking in to an elephant experience in Phuket, I would strongly consider Green Elephant Sanctuary.

Absolutely amazing day spent with elephants rescued from the cruelty of what most tourists think is normal when visiting Thailand. Here there is no riding, chains or abuse just fun, play, education and lots of mud!! Easily the highlight of our trip to such a beautiful wonderful country and cannot recommend this enough. There is no push for donations, or guilt to give money - the main focus is education of how fantastic these animals are, and how the majority of tourist based elephant experiences are not elephant friendly. Please please please take the time to visit, you will no regret it!

This was incredible! The food, the staff and the way they take care of the elephants is so amazing. If you are looking for an Elephant full experience, this is the right place and your money will be worth it. You will feed them, learn about their history and get to interact with them without riding them. The place was so clean, showers with warm water and they even provided shampoo and body wash. Highly recommend!

this place is brilliant i really enjoyed it and it was worth the money. the elephants are very beautifully taken care of and they are breathtaking that they allow us to be in close proximity for a while, I have tears in my eyes when I write this, because I felt a lot of love from them, maybe even more than from people. Thank you to all the people who help these majestic animals to have a better life. I hope that we will live to see that there will be no more elephants living in captivity in Thailand!!! And thank you to the cooks for a great lunch, you are all amazing. I'll be back, I love you 💚🐘

I absolutely loved this experience, I loved that the staff put elephants before guests, treated them like their own family members, respected them, and demanded guests do the same. elephants seemed happy with their person whose entire life is dedicated to them. I’m so glad I did this, 2200 baht well spent. Food was great. Staff are amazing, baby elephant so precious. Elephants run the show literally. I am an animal lover, and I want to say thank you to the great staff for giving these animals a second chance.

Amazing. Very ethical. They tell you all about the elephants history and how they treat them now. You get to feed them, pat them, rub mud on them to help clean and then clean them with water. The mother and baby were kept seperate from us but so cute to watch bathe with their dedicated handlers. Highly recommend.

A very enjoyable afternoon interacting with the elephants. Comforting to see how well they are looked after and treated with great respect. After rubbing them with mud, feeding and washing them down, we were treated to a delicious meal. The elephants are in no way harmed and seem to enjoy the interaction. Pick up and drop off was very easy. I would highly recommend this place on your visit to Phuket.

We had several activities with the elephants and the fact that they are taking so many photos of us and uploading them for free is so amazing! They are so authentic and not asking for any donations at any point. Also offering a great buffet with delicious food and fruits. Thank you very much 🥰

This experience was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend a visit and will return the next time I'm in Phuket. It is very obvious that this is a true conservation facility. The guide was very good at explaining everything and she spoke very good English. There were a few photographers walking around taking pictures, but we took plenty ourselves. You start off with a brief, educational chat with the guide, then feed the elephants. You can, and will, take tons of pictures at this point. Next, we went to see the elephant enclosures that they stay in at night and when in need of medical care, along with the mahouts' (elephant caretakers) humble accommodations. After that, there's the mud bath with the elephants, the a wash in a pond, before finally heading to what could be best described as a car wash for elephants. Finally, you shower up and sit down for a great Thai lunch. To top it all off, the staff overheard that it was my daughter's birthday and they made her a birthday cake. I was honestly blown away by Green Elephant Sanctuary Park!

Amazing experience! They take incredible care of the elephants and there is no barrier between you and these beautiful animals as you feed them and bathe with them. Please support Green Elephant Sanctuary Park and the important work they are doing, as they go to great effort and expense to rescue these gentle creatures.

Really nice elephant sanctuary. Nice to see the elephant walking around and been taking care off. Mud pool and Elephant shower are really cool! Nice and clean facilities and also food is good. Two little negative points are: A small tour of their jungle would be really nice to see. I would have expected real Thai food but was more like European Thai with no chili :-( Everything else is really good!

This was a once in a lifetime experience where the elephant handlers are being re-educated in elephant welfare and how to really care for the animals rather than abuse them for work or attractions. Me and my partner really took great care in researching and selecting a real sanctuary and we definately we’re not disappointed We fed and bathed all the ladies they had there. Lunch and refreshments are included throughout the half day.

The Green Elephant Sanctuary was a wonderful experience. The elephants are treated extremely well. The shuttle pickup was extremely comfortable. The food was fantastic. On site, there is one of the best outdoor bathroom setups I have seen. They clean the toilets after every single use, and the showers have soap and shampoo. The encounter was short (~2 hours), but it didn't feel rushed or that it needed to be longer.

Everything about this experience was amazing! Pick up / drop off was smooth, food was so yummy and I loved not feeling rushed as we fed and bathed the elephants. Our guide gave us great information on how they care for the elephants which was emotive and informative! I'd go back again, it was an incredible and very ethical experience.

We had a great time here! Staff was caring and attentive towards elephants. Everything was well organized. we forgot towels and they gave us for free. Food was delicious, photographers were loving their job as everyone else around there. Elephants seemed well cared and loved.

It was an incredible experience witnessing the exceptional care given to the elephants. Each elephant had a dedicated caregiver who shared a special bond with them, handling them with nothing but love and compassion. Being able to observe, feed, and bathe the elephants allowed us to contribute to a cause where our energy and resources are truly making a positive impact. It's reassuring to know that our support is going towards ensuring the health and well-being of these magnificent creatures is prioritized at the highest level.

This place treats their elephants like family and you can tell they’re super happy. They were super happy elephants and were active with everyone. The baby elephant was adorable and we got to watch her take a bath in a pool. The buffet was delicious and our tour guide was amazing and helpful. I will be back!

This was such an amazing experience and I am glad we chose this sanctuary. they provided transfer from and to our hotel and very good dinner after the activities, plus water and soft drinks were available during the whole tour. The staff was nice, spoke very well English and really took care of us . They explained how the sanctuary works - basically all elephants here are saved either from riding tourist stations or from hard labor in woods. You can see that elephants are really taken care of and are happy. All the activities were amazing, we got to feed them snacks, play in mud and water and it was a lot of fun. Cherry on top was that stuff was taking professional pictures for free! I would definitely recommend this sanctuary as they are really kind to the elephants and taking care of them

We had a fabulous afternoon experiencing interactions with elephants at this place which is dedicated to saving these wonderful creatures. The highlight of the day was watching the baby elephant enjoy her bath. No need for any fancy tricks. The lunch they provided was good too.

Our visit to the Green Elephant Sanctuary Park was a birthday gift that turned into an unforgettable day, not just for my girlfriend but for both of us. Here's why this place is exceptional: - Animal Welfare: First things first, the elephants look healthy and well-cared for. It's clear that this sanctuary prioritizes their well-being, which is heartening to see. - Interactive Experience: They give you plenty of time to really connect with the elephants, from feeding to washing them. It's a hands-on experience that feels personal and meaningful. - Exceptional Service: From start to finish, the service is top-notch. They offer hotel transportation, which makes the visit hassle-free. Plus, the buffet they provide is not only extremely tasty but also adds a wonderful touch to the whole experience. - Birthday Surprise: The staff at the sanctuary went out of their way to make the day extra special with a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. It was thoughtful and made our visit even more memorable. Overall, the Green Elephant Sanctuary Park is a must-visit for anyone looking to have a meaningful interaction with elephants in a setting that respects and prioritizes their welfare. The combination of ethical animal treatment, engaging activities, and outstanding service makes it a standout experience. Highly recommended!

I recently had the privilege of visiting the Green Elephant Sanctuary in Phuket and was thoroughly impressed by their dedication to conservation and education. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for rescued elephants, and the staff's passion for their well-being is evident in every aspect of the facility. The educational programs are top-notch, teaching visitors about the importance of responsible elephant tourism and the proper way to care for these magnificent creatures. The sanctuary's efforts are truly making a positive impact, and I left feeling inspired and informed. A must-visit destination in Phuket!

The Villa Market - Boat Avenue Phuket (Laguna) is a large, posh grocery store that has a wide range of imported goods from around the world. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageous either. The wine section is especially impressive.
This is the place to go for all your Western foods and Asian great produce cheese hams oh yeh good find.

My favorite store in phuket. You can find them in chalong, bang tao, near Central and many others. The best with villamqrket is when you miss western food or snacks, they have a little bit from Scandinavia, uk, Russia and a few other European countries. I love this shop

Died and gone to supermarket heaven. Posh supermarket with huge range of imported goods from around the world. Not cheap but not outrageous either. Great wine section too. They should add in a wine bar/deli tasting section and I probably wouldn’t have left.

Great supermarket with loads of Expat products. Good fresh and frozen food selection with good meats, fish, pies etc. A lot of your favourites to be found even including Greg’s sausage rolls! ! The prices are higher than home but not by much considering they are imported. I always find a good test when you have to use customer service and I’m happy to report they supported me well. What happened was I bought a mango, got the lady to weigh it and put the price sticker on but I didn’t check it and just put it in my trolly. When I got home I noticed an item on my receipt for ฿440 for a brioche loaf which I didn’t buy. It took me a while to work it out but the mango had been incorrectly weighed under the wrong code. I went back the next morning, they were incredibly apologetic and gave me a refund.

Have lived in Thailand for more than 30 years and have always loved Villa market! Can’t go wrong there! Always very helpful staff! Love the fact that they are not giving out plastic bags, but rather encouraging patrons to buy cloth bags. Too much plastic In Thailand already! Thanks Villa for leading the way as I know you’ve been doing this for more than 15 years!

Really great second option for a well stocked grocery carrying a wide range of international goods and products after Central Food Hall but I find their prices a bit too high and too prohibitive and the aisles are quite too tiny and tight for a good and relaxing shopping experience. I keep on bumping to other carts and saying sorry way too many times to other shoppers who will get in your way or you’ll bump into.

This is a very clean store and the check out staff are super friendly. There is pretty much everything you would need here. There are a few things I wanted to mention; the prices are fairly high including cauliflower costing up to 560 baht for a head - crazy!, they provide you with recyclable bags for a fee at check out with the words “”RE-USE ME! No Plastic. A step Towards A Better Tomorrow” BUT so much in their store is wrapped in plastic or in a plastic container - how does that make sense???? The are constantly stocking shelves but they do not move when you are trying to get something where they are standing even when you ask politely - language barrier - maybe, but I don’t think so…

We stayed in the Laguna area for 2 weeks and this was our (and a lot of expats too) favorite supermarket. It's something oddly comforting to see your favourite UK brands, a Boots do far from home.. They also have local Thai brands mainly in the household items & beauty section. We used to go to the big Tesco Lotus but we ended up throwing away most of the fruit and veg as they were not same quality. Yes it's more expensive, some things outrageously so (like my fave Greek yoghurt) but if you are willing to compromise a little, the diversity of choice and quality of produce is unmatched in Phuket. Some soft drinks like Schweppes Lime are actually cheaper than in 7/11. I did try some awful things like coconut milk ice cream, dried mango, tuna sushi - they were definitely a miss. The prepackaged fruit however pineapple, red melon, yellow mango was lovely. Tried durian also but could not eat more than a mouthful. If you want a little treat to remind you of home, this is definitely the place.

Really good quality markets known as Phuket Night Market on every Friday. Well worth a couple of hours wonderful local foods fruits and seafood plus fashion and the usual goods Lots of good bars and restaurants in the precinct too .Peppers seems to be the go to bar for expat & Food & Co for vino

Fairly well stocked with European and western foodstuffs. Veg is usually fresh, a variety of eggs including free range, deli counter, frozen foods section and alcohol (sales of alcohol limited to local law - time of day) Be aware, it’s not that cheap. However, locally produced fruit juice is as cheap if not cheaper than other local supermarkets. Overall, it’s offers a good shopping experience and you can get most things you need in one place. Another foreign supermarket nearby is ‘Central Food Hall’

Restaurant
The Siam Supper Club, located near Bangtao Beach on Phuket's West coast, has recently undergone renovations and new ownership. Despite being in an upmarket area, the atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. This iconic establishment has been a favorite among locals and tourists for over two decades. It is renowned for its masterful takes on international and local dishes made with high-quality ingredients.
Jazz nights on Mondays at SSC was a perfect remedy when you are stuck not knowing where to go on a school night! Had 5 other friends with me and had such a blast. We had oysters to start (super fresh!) and I dove into their French onion soup (perfect for the storm brewing outside!). It was delicious, not too heavy so you could still have space for your main course. Shared a tomahawk with 3 other friends and it was a perfect portion. I love the accompaniments and how it was presented. Meat was cooked perfectly. Ended the evening with more cocktails. Must have - Espresso martini. Danced the night away with the Jazz band playing . We had an awesome night . Thank you SSC.

An unforgettable Christmas feast at Siam Supper Club! Each dish in the Pre Fixe menu was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service provided by Neo, the restaurant manager. His attention to detail and warm hospitality elevated our dining experience, making us feel truly special. Highly recommend for an exquisite and memorable dining experience!

The food looks good but was at best was meh. Careful when ordering wine, we were brought 3 wrong bottles, one costing 300% of the one we ordered. We were told what they had was not in stock. This seems to be a tourist trap, be very very careful. It might have been an off night but I will not return to find out. Very high stress ordering wine...

Siam Supper Club has the decor and appeal of a New York fine dining establishment. Complete with its own jazz band on Mondays, this restaurant stands out in Phuket. The chef leans heavily on his training at some of New York and Los Angeles’ best restaurants to present dishes that are world class. The manager, who only arrived at the restaurant last week, was both kind and knowledgeable about cuisine, culture, and so much more.

A shadow of its former self. Used to be the best place in Phuket but definitely not anymore. Late for the order, uneven sized steaks on 4 different orders of their famous Rib eye. took friends there for dinner to show off our secret best restaurant in the area but what a disappointment that proved to be. Starters were all good, even though they arrived almost 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering. Rib Eye Steak was full of fat which we all cut aside. All of us had a different sized steak on our plate so we swapped between us. Ladies gracefully accepted the smaller portions. Drinks were good, not as good as they used to be. 4 different cocktails, 9 drinks in total, none was delivered same as the one before. They also made a mistake with the bill, so we had to be given cash back instead as we had already paid with a credit card. Ordered 2 bottles of the same wine at the same time. After opening the first, and served we were informed that the wine we ordered was the last one... So we were politely offered a bottle on the house. At the end we had to pay for it. As it is obvious, we are never going back and I do hope that the management changes and it goes back to the superb place we remember and spent quite a few nights in

It’s used to be a very crazy busy place especially on Monday night (Jazz night). Unfortunately, after covid hit, this place has been crazy awful. Years ago, I’d recommended this place to many people, now I feel embarrassed if they ever went there. The other evening, we were waiting for cold starter for over than 30 mins. We asked the staff and the excuse was they don’t have enough staff in the kitchen because many of the staffs were taking days off… I mean come on… it would be more understandable if they were busy, sadly there were only 2 tables at that moment, so 🤷‍♀️ - Roasted chicken was too tough. - Bread was old, cold and super chewy. - Staffs were chitchatting the whole time. Basically their back against our table. Nobody pays attention. - Didn’t even get offered to look at dessert menu, I feel bad for the owner tbf. - No one came to the table to ask about the food.. why? Well cos they were chitchatting. 💁‍♀️ Was planning to show some friends during the Christmas but we were so disappointed with the food and service. So not going to go back.

Went here with my girlfriend. The Tenderloin was raw and crunchy on the outside and tasted like a freezer can smells like. Definably not fresh. Send it back and they cancelled the order and still had to pay for it. All other food was great but I not eat anything because they not give me any solution and when I said it wasn't good and especially give them the instructions for medium weldone they just take the food away and not say anything anymore. I try to ask them and they say the chef said it was fresh but not mention the fact that is was dry en as raw from the inside as can be very bad experience. I was hoping on a nice night out in this exclusive restaurant but it wasn't so. No solution but only discussion. Wished it went different. Not going here again. The wine was fantastic and so where the other dishes.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience dining here. We indicated that it was our honeymoon and got treated exceptionally well, we have never experienced anything Iike this. The manager took time out of his busy evening to check in on us and have the most genuine chat after dinner about life and Thailand. The food was excellent, every dish we had tasted phenomenal and the service was great, all staff were very attentive and polite. We would recommend this to anyone. We travelled over an hour in a taxi to reach this restaurant and it was worth it and more. P.S. the bar manager made us an Irish Coffee at the table. Seeing it made was an experience in itself, but the drink was also very tasty.

Had our last family dinner here in Thailand and loved everything about the place. From the atmosphere, the great cocktails, staff, and the food. The food was amazing! The parker bread was absolutely delicious, it came out warm and super soft and demolished within seconds. Majority of us had the steak tenderloin which was cooked to perfection and practically just melted in your mouth! The dessert was delicious especially the pavlova and upside down choc cake. Overall, great experience and thank you to Neil and the team for being so patient and kind with our 2 little kids who were running a muck and kept playing with the Christmas tree. Teresa from Sydney

We were a group of 10 for dinner. Service was attentive and very good. The food was excellent! The chef was friendly and engaging and chose a selection of sharing plates for starters which was creative and delicious. Everyone was very happy with the tasty main courses. While some of us had Prosecco, the rest enjoyed lovely Whispering Angel rosé. All in all, an enjoyable and memorable evening.

Western restaurant
Patong Corner Restaurant is a western restaurant located in the heart of Patong. They offer a good selection of Thai food, fresh juices and friendly service at very reasonable prices. You will definitely enjoy their dishes!
For Patong Beach, I have to give this 5 stars. It was my best food dining experience so far as far as taste, authenticity, originality of the flavors and dishes. I found it through google search of restaurants with 4.0 and above. It doesn’t have the best ambience, but the food is sooo good here. Presentation sometimes misses the mark a little, but give it a go and you won’t be disappointed. Only other flaw was there was an older piece of lettuce that made it to my salad, but other than that, yes, very good. Here were the shining dishes that I sampled as a first timer and would recommend to anyone. Vegetable samosas delicious Roti (I asked for a small side of curry for dipping and was given it for free by the nice staff) a tad oily, but still nice Soft shell crab salad nice (only small flaw above) Fried shrimp with tamarind sauce was absolutely a winning sauce combo 🥇don’t miss this Deep fried Salmon larb was nice (forgot to ask spicy level to go down though) Fruit platter and taro desserts were excellent! Way to go with this great place to eat!

Nice relaxed restaurant with Thai food about 5-10 minutes walk from Bangla road tucked down a side street. Visited a couple of times. Fish cake starter very nice as is the Tom Yam and spicy Papaya salad. Tried the mixed fruit smoothie today also for 80 baht that was delicious. Prices slightly more expensive but worth it for the relaxed setting and quality food. Good service.

I have been coming to this place for years now, until Covid hit… so, once I was planning return to Patong, first thing was to see, if Corner has survived it. First it said - permanently closed. And then, just shortly before coming - new location! But just around the corner🤩 so, I just run there as soon as I arrived - and it did not disappoint. It is as perfect as ever, the taste, the fantastic staff, cosy atmosphere🥰 I just hope, they can get bigger again. I always remember you, once I think of Thailand❤️

I wanted to say something but the sever staff was too busy and slow not paying attention to customers! But food and prices are quite reasonable 🙏🏼🙏🏼 The extra mushrooms 🍄 I ordered were practically raw and not cooked throughly 🙃!

Limited motorbike parking is available at the front. Staff speaks English. Yes, and the menu is HUGE, with so many options (drinks too!). Overall, a nice place!🌸🙌

Food here is average, but not great considering their prices. Staff weren’t as friendly here as other local restaurants. With lots of restaurants in the area to choose from, based on our experience we’d suggest looking elsewhere if you can.

My bad to ordered the pork ribs. Is not what I expected. Will never eat this kind of pork ribs in my life! Is not tender its feel like you reheated and you serve and its like eating a rubber! Totally disappointed! Not recommended at all. But while eating with my partner, overall other food was quite good

I would like to pass on my feedback with the reference of the Black cat restaurant. The good I consumed with my 7 dinners I had it in the restaurant was very fresh, delicious ,tasty. I really enjoyed testing the different Thai dishes ordered on the menu and being honest on my next trip to Phuket I will return to the restaurant and Not for the food only and for the friendly and smiling people working there along with the very approachable owner of the restaurant. Thank you once again for making my holiday unforgettable.

The service was ok during the meal, but I can see there is a difference they treat different racial. The food was ordinary, I don’t recommend the pasta, too much tomato and sauce, tasteless, the ribs are fine tho.

After reading some indifferent reviews I thought I'd give this restaurant a go. The restaurant is quite large inside with a bar area and lots of seating. There is no air-conditioning however there are lots of fans installed to keep the air circulating and the environment a comfortable one to sit and enjoy a meal. The menu is quite large with both French and Thai options. In the end I settled on Thai, ordering some spring rolls, red chicken curry and steamed rice. All the food was delicious and the service very attentive. I asked for the curry to be a little bit spicy and it was delivered to perfection. A bit of a zing however not even to drown out the lovely flavours. With the meal and two singha beers adding up to 510 Baht, I thought it was pretty good value and definitely worth checking out.

This restaurant is always very busy when we ride past so we decided to give it a try and were very happy we did. The waiter WUT was excellent and very attentive and looked after our needs. The food was fantastic and the food service was very quick. Entrees and mains were delicious and the desserts are amazing. Will definitely return again. Thank you

Food and service was great. Not easy to find restaurants in Phuket who serve you quality food at reasonable prices. All negative reviews are from the Russian local mob.

Taste Bar & Gallery is a beachfront restaurant run by executive chef Martin Ostlind and his wife. It offers a diverse blend of Pacific Rim and Mediterranean dishes, known for its sharp and efficient service. The restaurant has received high praise from customers for its food and ambiance, with particular highlights being the fish tacos, calamari, chicken, mango crumble with ice cream, and the burger.
We went for drinks and dinner last night and will definitely be back again soon. Friday happy hour serves cocktails at 199 bht, my cosmopolitan was well made 👌 The bar area had a good atmosphere with a nice, local crowd. Jade is always extremely welcoming, we enjoyed the artwork which is in the dining gallery area. This space works so much better now, dining here it felt more intimate, private and now has a special ambiance. The food was very good, and we opted for sharing dishes. The prawn pilpil was tasty and cooked to your heat / chili preference, generous ceasar salad and some nicely presented camembert wedges. We also tried the panipuri which were delicious, I'll order more next time! The house red wine was very decent and available by the glass. All in all this is a fantastic restaurant, with cleverly thought out design creating a finer ambiance than the previous open plan layout. Food and service were also very good. Great job Jade and team, thank you for a lovely evening.

We drove a long way there, only to find out it was closed. It didn’t say so anywhere (Facebook or website) and google said it was open. Not sure how I could have found out.

Small intimate place where the chef owner greets guests and makes it a super fun place with great food. The Flatbread with mushrooms is worth the visit and the coffee martini is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Great food, nice service. Probably the best good I've had in Phuket so far. Casual. Flatbreads were great, panna Cotta was amazing, salad great! Just ate here again ... Gonna abandon the scooter and get a tuktuk home the food was so great. Had the same flat breads the Maryland crab cakes (wow) and big crab burger ... Great Also the price is very nice vs haggling for prices in other places. Went back and ordered tacos and from tapas menu ... Still great. Maryland crab cakes has been nightly. Also nice we have come enough to see the specials menu change so unlike most places it really is a special. The only negative I have seen is when we sat outside service didn't check on as very much.

Went there for dinner last night, and the food and service were amazing! We had the fish tacos, calamari and chicken, and finished with the mango crumble with ice cream. Our son ate the burger and he said it's probably one of the best he's ever had! All around a memorable experience
