Rawai

Rawai is a village on the southeast coast of Thailand’s Phuket Island. Rawai Beach is known for its long-tailed boats, the Sea Gypsies Fish Market and seafood restaurants. Phuket Seashell Museum displays rare shells from Thailand and around the world. To the south, Promthep Cape has a lighthouse and views over the Andaman Sea. Ra Wai Beach, located at the southern end of Phuket island, is renowned as the first tourist beach on the island. While not suitable for swimming, it offers stunning views of nearby islands and a tranquil local atmosphere. The beach serves as a departure point for boat tours to various islands and sightseeing spots in the surrounding sea. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood at nearby restaurants and explore the local fishing community.
Not the cleanest beach as it has lots of boats, but pretty sunset and sunrise
alessia cassie — Google review
One of the southernmost beaches in Phuket. While very picturesque, it is no good for swimming as the sand is dirty and always smells of the fuel from all the boats parked just offshore. Busy because all the boat tours for the southern islands tend to leave and arrive from here. Plays point is there is plenty of parking, choice of food to suit every need and budget, and of course the massage parlours.

Beach not for swimming to many boats, hit the local restaurants along the waterfront, fantastic.

You can take a rent the boat cross to the crystal island seeing the sunset from island and grate view point from the island.
Naktaya Iyara — Google review
Rawai beach is not really one. It is more like a place where boats wait to take you to the islands around. You can't really lay there and enjoy a rest as there are boats everywhere. However, there is a nice side walk to do and lots of boats trips to plan.
Limbo Mambo — Google review
Beautiful area to have a stroll. Coming nicely renovated in the part next to Mixx mall and Rawayana development. You can take boats to islands from here and also take a bus to airport and other beaches, too. Local kids swim here and foreign ones sometimes do too. Lots of shade so you can see local families relaxing in the sea breeze, nice atmosphere.
Elena — Google review
The place looks scenic with all these fisher boats there. You can get s ride to a selection of islands from here. Plenty of restaurants across the street. But I would not recommend it for swimming

The pier and the view looks good. The place has got a lot of sea food restaurants.

We find Rawai beach very convenient for shopping, massages and eateries. We frequent the WeCafe for the setting, ambience, and delicious healthy selections on the menu. Friendly service and excellent service. Definitely a We Cafe' where you can, while away a few hours comfortably, enjoying the perfectly prepared meals and healthy drinks. The beach is not exactly a swimming beach, but you can still walk and have a dip. From Rawai, you can go to the offshore islands in long boats or speedboats. Seaside seafood restaurants abound. So take a walk down the road and you can find a great selection. 👍

Beautiful view, a lot of boats, you can agree for a pleasant price to ride them to the neighbouring islands
Jools Jools — Google review
Nice pictures of the boats and some decent food spots off the main road but the beach isn’t useable. Too many boats in the water and the sand is unclean.
Alexander “AJ” Glass — Google review
Longtail boat scam!! Do not go with this guy! We agreed about a full day boat trip. He took us to a super crowded island, 30 minutes boat ride, stayed for one hour then he dropped us of on another island 10 minutes away from the pier and picked us up 4 hours later and just went back. 6 kilometers boat ride for 3000 baht. So annoyed of all the tourist scams here in Phuket.

Gorgeous but we got here a little bit too late because a tire went low and there’s no water. It’s all beach and coral but overall the feel of this place is very nice! I would highly recommend to go here!! Follow Fauzia for her unlimited adventures in and around Thailand. … and lotsa fun!! I love to hop on the back of a motorbike and head out on the highway driving all the way from cheong talay stopping in between to grab a quick bite to Ra Wai beach. Make sure you follow fauzia on all her lifestyle, food and travel 💦💦☺️😎 adventures in Bangkok and beyond make sure to follow us on Instagram Facebook and of course I need to videos are fabulous 💞💞💞💦💦💦

Coral Island, also known as Koh Hae, is a popular destination for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. It features two main beaches: Long Beach and Banana Beach, both just a short boat ride away from Rawai Beach. Long Beach offers a long stretch of white sand and clear blue-green waters, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and kayaking. Meanwhile, Banana Beach boasts striking turquoise waters with coral reefs teeming with colorful marine life just a short swim from the shore.
Coral island was amazing! Beautiful waters, could clearly see the fish in the water that were swimming in the shallow water. A huge bar has been set up where drinks and food can be ordered. There was also chairs and tables if you want to rent (its expensive, we just used our towels). Vibe here was pretty great, would go again!

Coral Island / Hey Island has a lot to offer. There is a Beach Club.. gorgeous sand and blue blue water and various water sports for those looking for a day experience off Phuket. Many boat stop her for lunch and drinks. For beauty, I would definitely give a 5 stars but 3 stars for the vibe… just not our vibe or scene. Food was ok but not excellent. This could be many peoples excellent day out but it was mediocre at best for us. We did go snorkeling on the other side of the island and saw some amazing Coral and fish, blue star fish so that was very cool. It’s fairly tourist kind of vibe… for some it’s an excellent visit be but for us just so so.
Andrea DiCastro — Google review
Did the full day excursion from Patong with Nikorn Marine. Arrived at Chalong Pier around 9am and took the speedboat to the island, which is 20 minutes away. Kahung Beach is a beautiful white sand beach where you can relax and do water sports. The tour took us around the back of the island for some snorkeling, where we could see various colorful types of fish, including blue starfish. Also included in the tour was lunch at the restaurant on Kahung Beach. At 850THB pp, this was probably the best value excursion we did in Phuket.

Excellent island, 🏝️ beautiful view, unique ambience, birds around you, have beach cafe, you can visit that island at the day time or buy excursions or trip. Have fresh shower, 🚿 toilet, some private area. Enjoy 😉

One on the nicest place which I saw. Clear water, fine sandy beach, tropical flora. Sunbeds, a terrace&bar, parasailing. Very accesible, not more than 20 minutes from the Chalong Bay pier.

Amazing spot! Beautiful beaches, great spot for snorkelling (just watch out for the spiked urchins). Good bar and facilities for an island. If you are there late enough might even catch the local toucans! Was lucky enough to feed one and it was a great experience.

What a beach it is amazing vibes. Relaxing experience. Enjoy the surroundings and beauty of this place. All water activities are available here. Just 20 minutes away from Phuket mainland through a speed boat.
Pulkit Grover — Google review
One of the nicest beaches I’ve been to in Thailand, in terms of crystal clear turquoise water and white sand, it’s now overrun with tourists and companies selling water sports which is a shame and the ruins of the hotel that once owned the beach which is unfortunate. When you ‘land’ head to the right (facing the sea) for the best section away from most of the madness
Simon Mabury — Google review
We came here on a "two island and sunset" day trip from Phuket. On first impressions, the island is indeed stunning. However the tour only took us to one location on the island. This meant disembarking onto a floating pontoon. On our day it was windy which made the water choppy (and the pontoon unsteady). The water was very shallow (at the time we arrived). We were unable to swim or snorkel which was disappointing. There was also a jellyfish warning. With all that said it was still worth the effort. It was nice to sit on the beach and enjoy the scenery. If you're thinking about visiting, just be aware that there will be loads of boats and tourists.
Chris Taylor — Google review
Beautiful island, small yet amazing. The water here is clear and refreshing. You can enjoy snorkelling around the shores here as well but be careful of low tides as it brings up alot of sea urchins which can cause you a great deal of pain.
Abhishek Joshi — Google review
Coral Island, known locally as Koh Hae or Ko He, is a beautiful getaway destination around 3 km southeast of Phuket. The island has 2 main beaches: Long Beach and Banana Beach. Snorkelling off Banana Beach is a thrilling experience. If you go out far enough from Long Beach, you'll also have a lot to discover at its impressive coral reef.
Libin Balan — Google review
Beautiful and tranquiler than other islands nearby . The beach is clean, thin and soft sand, small waves, the water is clear . There is only one beach club there which is rather tidy, free seat and toilet and bathroom, pay for beach chair. It’s perfect to go there by catamaran yatch

Yanui Beach is a small, family-friendly sandy beach with tree-lined shores. While it may not offer a clear sunset view every day, visitors can still enjoy the beautiful Southern views of Promthep Cape and the beach itself. The entrance fee is free, and the parking lot closes at 7 PM. The beach has shallow waters, making it suitable for snorkeling beginners.
Amazing place for beach and snorkeling, totally worth a visit, 5 minutes from Rawai beach by scooter, super easy access. In the way you have also some small shops where things are actually quite cheap. Definitely a really good place to be!

Very calm beach with amazing sunrise view. Infrastructure is poor, however I loved the peaceful atmosphere and lots of greenery. Kayak rent available from 9 am.

Nice small beach with clear sand and turquoise water with corals. You can rent kayak, paddle board and snorkelling equipment. There arent any sunbeds you must bring blanket for the floor. Carpark is very small and can fill up very early of the day. Thank you 🙏😎
Vladimir Domin — Google review
Small quiet beach. Best to come early if you want to find a perfect spot to lay your mat. Snorkeling off the beach, you can see lots of beautiful tropical marine fish. Great if you are not a strong swimmer ( you go out to the offshore island for fantastic Snorkeling and scuba diving.) Can rent everything on the beach if you didn't bring any gear of your own.

One of my favorite beaches. Yanui Beach. Not to busy during the week. Perfect water to snorkle or scuba. All equipment available here at the beach. They also rent kayaks 100 baht per hour. Rock formations to climb on for adventure with kids.2 Thai restaurants across the street for food and drink. No 711 or Family Mart so bring what you need.

A beautiful beach, quiet, clean, magnificent view of Ko Man Island and as always a life guard at the ready. If you don’t want to be surrounded by tourists then this idyllic little spot is perfect.

Very nice, small very swimmable beach. There is a toilet truck on site in the parking lot. Drinks, beach chairs available for rent. The little parking lot can get pretty full so best to come early.

I went on Friday, 4 August 2023 around 2pm till 3.30pm. The beach is beautiful but there is some kind of oil in black colour. Its everywhere, it gets stocked in your swimwear, in your shoes. It looks like diesel oil from boats engine🤷‍♀️
Nurnasazila — Google review
If I could give negative starts to this place, I would. We come to this beach often. It’s nice enough and the restaurants across the street are great. Today, we rented some snorkeling equipment from the shop shown below. People seemed nice. We rented two snorkeling sets - well, one pair of goggles/snorkel, two life jackets, and two pairs of fins. The total came to 500 baht The goggles had a leak and filled up with water (tested on two people’s faces), so we went back and asked to change to another one. Second pair also had a leak and filled up with water for both of us. After 45 minutes of adjusting, tightening, loosening, and trading (we’d brought one pair of goggles/snorkel from home), we decided to just go back and ask for our money back. This is where the problem came in. Instead of giving our money back, the rather round woman (seen in the photo) told us she will give us half back and we need to leave. We tried to speak with her and she called over her husband (?) who also told us half back. We politely told them we cannot use the snorkeling gear if it is broken when rented, but she told us that we only tried two pairs of goggles and that’s not enough to say her products don’t work - then told us we need to try 10 different pairs before she’ll give us a refund. We said ok, and her husband came over and started talking politely to us about how they can only give half back. At this point, the woman pulled out her phone and started taking photos of us, quad took photos of the 250 she gave us back when we finally left 50% short. While she was taking photos of us, her husband started telling us we have to listen to him and can’t speak, kept telling us that we already touched his equipment so he can’t give us a refund for the rentals, and after a 3 minute monologue, he told us the conversation is over and we need to leave now. We said ok we’re leaving and took pictures of the place, and the woman ran over and started shouting at us, telling us to delete them. She said she’d delete the pictures she had taken of us, but we told her to keep them and we will also take our own. Long story short, this place has horrible customer service, extremely rude employees, and a real surprise in this wonderful country. Go to the shop next door, they’re much more polite.

Very nice neat beach. Has parking , smoking zone, and ice cream. Can do kayaking, snorkeling. Equipments available for rent. Good place to chill with family and kids. Good view as well.

Excellent beach, you can go snorkeling, there is plenty of underwater life. Of course sometimes you see only ordinary fish but about 10 snorkelings in different days it took to collect the foto/video below.

What a place for snorkeling lover. You can easily rent a snorkeling goggles at the beach. And swim to the small island in the opposite of the beach to see the corals!
Mango Liu — Google review
This was our favourite beach in Phuket by far! It was fairly busy when we went but the palm trees and cove made the beach look that much more spectacular! We went snorkelling for 100 baht each, which was amazing and something I never thought I’d be able to do as I’m not the best swimmer but you can hire life jackets and the fish are fairly close to the shore.
Rebecca Gosling — Google review
The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it’s pretty crowded, and there’s a lack of food and beverage options on the beach besides the usual small carts. The beach is in 2 small parts. the water is beautiful emerald green on one side, and the average ocean water colour on the other side. It’s a very small beach and seems to be mostly small families I’d recommend coming here and then walking up to Windmill point which is 300m up the hill (or vice versa) It’s mostly clean, but some rubbish here and there.

This is, perhaps, one of the most picturesque beach locations on Phuket Island. It’s shallow turquoise waters, and golden strip of sand, is flanked by the green, jungle clad cliffs to the rear, and the scenic Koh Man Island just a couple of hundred meters offshore. As mentioned, it’s definitely one of the most scenic locations on the island and provides some great photo opportunities.
Megaworld Asia — Google review
Out of all the beaches in Phuket I think this was my favorite, one, my name, and snorkel. The water is pretty gentle and a little bit more clear than the others. It is also a lot more chill and less people
Brian Choi — Google review
It was good! We had a great day! Small little beach, we managed to find parking but was great fun! Long drive but! Right at the bottom of the island.
Ernest Kii — Google review
Small beautiful beach surrounded by small hills. Plenty of water sports options are available there. Few food options are also there. This one of the beautiful beach in Phuket where you might enjoy the sea and take plenty of photographs as the place is full of natural beauty.
Srijeet Adhikary — Google review
Great place with plenty of parking for motorcycles by the beach, there are also a couple of small restaurants across the road. This is perhaps the number one place for snorkeling in Phuket, in particular the island "Koh Man" opposite the beach. There are plenty of kayaks available to rent by the hour and makes it easy to cross over the chanel to the island. However, if you're a fairly strong swimmer, you can get across to the island without a problem, I would say it's about 350 meters. I did this at high tide and there was a light current pushing me slowly from right to left as you face the island. However, a lifeguard told me that the current is much stronger at low tide, so be aware of that if you plan to swim across. Once on the island side, some great marine life around the rocky shoreline. A few long boats do use the chanel to bring swimmers here, so just be aware of any boats in the vicinity if you're swimming across.
Miles Macdonald — Google review
Beautiful beach on the corner, lots of people come here but there still is space with toilets nearby. Good for paddle boarding and sunbathing with friends and parking available most of the time.
Ryan Gregory — Google review
Amazing beach. Great for snorkeling. Can rent kayaks, umbrellas , snorkels , etc. there’s an island across you can tether your kayak too. But be aware of jellyfish!! I got stung within 20 minutes of snorkeling by a dead jelly.

Perfect snorkeling beach! Busy beach! We came by scooter, great stop! You can rent a kayak to go to the island across.

Beautiful and clean beach. Plenty of motorcycle parking and a restaurant across the road for food and drinks. Great for snorkelling also. Would recommend swimming on high tide

Nikita's Beach Restaurant is a beloved dining spot situated on the picturesque Nai Harn Beach. It attracts both locals and visitors who are drawn to its diverse menu featuring a blend of Thai and international flavors, including delectable grilled seafood, pizzas, and pastas. The restaurant also boasts an array of cocktails and mocktails to accompany your meal. With its stunning views, Nikita's offers a laid-back atmosphere perfect for enjoying international cuisine by the beach.
The owner of Nikita's is right! The produce is fresh, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I started by enjoying the spectacular view with a gin and tonic. I satisfied my craving for Thai-style oysters. I tasted the sea, mixed with generations of Thai gastronomy...and a little spice kick at the end. Moving from the sea to land. I had the Thai-style grilled beef for protein. The accompanied sauces thrilled my taste buds. Surprised to run into my local friends, they assured my I would enjoy my meal. Nikita's will be my regular treat restaurant. My only feedback to the owner is the red lighting gives a warming vibe but tints my photos slightly. Sorry. When you are writing your review, please show empathy for staff. The labour shortage is global now, be patient and cha cha!

A nice chilled out waterfront restaurant. Sometimes the service is excellent, and sometimes it's indifferent. Food is good, and reasonably priced for Phuket waterfront. If you order the oysters (they're very fresh) try the Thai style condiments option. Yummy.

First thing first, the vibe of the restaurant is so great. 😎 I was there with a friend for a lunch. We ordered oysters for an appetizer, it was good, it came with fried onions and garlics and some leaves with yummy seafood sauce 👍🏻 We also had Papaya salad, Grilled pork neck, Deep fried soft shell crab with garlic pepper, grilled squid and seafood TomYum for a soup 👍🏻 These orders we had was for 2, it’s normal Thai size. Food and its portions is decent. I’d actually like to give it a 4.5-stars but there’s no button for it 😅 The minus five is just b’cuz there were uninvited flies that join our food 😅

The restaurant is nice, the service was great, our waitress was very friendly and the view was amazing. But the food was just ok. Our friends ordered a fish and Som Tam( green papaya salad). The fish was delicious but the papaya salad wasn’t spicy at all. They informed our waitress who took the salad back to the kitchen where they added chilli and it got a bit better. My wife ordered a Beef spicy salad and it was the same story, no spicy at all. It went back to the kitchen and it returned a bit better. Although the beef was chewy. I got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the meat was chewy as well. I would go back for a beer, which was ice cold, and the view.

There were not decent amount choice on their menu. However, I can't complain that because food quality, taste and presentation were good . Also, restaurant's view with ambiance was good. I can recommend here👍🏼 The only thing that some of their responds in feedback comments were weird. Even how harsh/false comment, a seller should not respond in a negative way. This may lead customers to afraid little bit.

We called into Nikita's midday for lunch. No staff were at the front to welcome us so we had to hunt someone down to get a table. We wanted a waterside table but were advised against it account the fact birds were pooping on the table! We did see a rather large sized, grey bird perched up in the tree. We ordered two dishes, both pork, one curry and one noodle dish. The flavour of both dishes was outstanding with wonderfully fresh vegetables. However, we both found the pork to be a little dry which was a shame. Nikita's is a beautiful waterside restaurant with great views overlooking Rawai Beach with the islands just off in the distance, Koh Bon being the closest. Staff were not overly friendly but they were a little busy when we were there. Prices at Nikita's are at the top end for eateries along the beach road. We paid 550 baht for two dishes, including one Jasmine rice and a large bottle of soft drink. No VAT or service charge is added to the bill. Major cards are accepted with no extra charge. Nikita's is worth a visit, especially in the evening but advisable to pre book as they do get busy.

Very nice place to eat and it’s cosy. But…the service was not welcoming, and portion of the food was appetizers (small) also the pricing was too high.

The food was good, but the service spoiled the whole experience. We waited for more than 15 mins to get someone to help us. The old lady is the rudest person I’ve ever met! She refused to help us as our menus were “open” - since when is there a rule that you need to close your menu in order to get served?? We were not allowed to order starters first, the rude lady instructed us to order all our food at once. She said the food will take very long, but then our pasta arrived within 10 mins. Why were we not allowed to order starters then? Also, a rat ran over my feet 🐀 I do not recommend this restaurant! There are way better places in Rawai!

Last time we visited Thailand was 10 years ago. We remembered Nikita's was a delicious restaurant that we must try again. We were afraid that it wouldn't be the same as before but the truth was that it was as good as we remembered. Stunning view, perfect food and service and good atmosphere. The prices are a bit higher than other Thai restaurants in the area but totally worth the money.

Lovely setting, yummy food!! The staff were amazing when we asked for a cake for our Dad’s birthday! They bought the cake and candle then sang and danced for us. It was a lovely experience!!

Relaxed atmosphere and one of the best views in Rawai. my favorite places to eat Thai style fresh oysters with spicy sauce. I highly recommend this place.

Nicky — Google review

This charming cafe is perfect for those with a sweet tooth and offers delicious homemade cakes and pastries as well as free WiFi. They also serve healthy breakfast, lunch, and brunch options, and have outdoor seating if you're looking for a spot to relax in Phuket's beautiful weather.
The environment has a very cozy feeling. The food was absolutely delicious and portions were huge, even for the omelette. The protein smoothies were also very good!

I arrived in Rawai about a week ago and have visited here nearly every day 😊 There is the option to sit in the beautiful outside dining area or in the air conditioning indoors. The food here is fresh and great value. Staff are always friendly and it has a lovely peaceful atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the full Pancakes with the wonderful maple syrup and fruits, also got a caramel latte which was delicious. Really worth it to visit this place!

Absolutely enchanted by this lovely gem in Rawai. Their whole wheat pancakes take awhile to prepare but when it arrives, it is crispy at the edges and hearty within. Divine with pancake syrup. Blended smoothies gave me a much needed cleansing after days of fried noodles. The incredibly friendly owner also offered iced water when the weather was hot.

It's a good place to eat breakfast, but in the same time you can try cakes that are quite good. I was impressed by their kindness, ready to recomand you what to try. Still, they should try to have more cakes, even if they have verry tasty one. I highly recommend this location, as a place to try to eat 🤗🤗🤗

The seafood restaurant Salaloy Restaurant situated on the beachfront in Rawai offers delicious Thai food at very affordable prices. The setting is perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
First let me say the service was great. The food that they cooked was delicious, the price of the food is affordable. When we came back for the second time they were closed because of holidays. But we will come back for sure, i dont think i will get over with their food.

We sat on the promenade overlooking Rawai Beach and enjoyed our lunch at Salaloy. We ordered a spicy seafood dish and a yellow noodle chicken dish. Unfortunately they brought us out yellow noodle seafood, not chicken. The waitress was going to change it but we decided we would eat it. Both dishes were very good, the spicy seafood probably the better of the two. We shared a home made ice cream to finish. Our meal came to almost 500 baht, a fair price considering the location. Salaloy is well worth a visit.

One of the best restaurants on Rawai Beach. Recommended by Michelin Guide. Prices are just like everywhere and well worth the quality. Most of the dishes are delivered ridiculously fast, almost instantly to your table. Very delicious food. View is breathtaking. I had a pleasurable experience every single time here.

The view and atmosphere are the major draws here. Food quality was acceptable but not memorable - unlike many other places along this strip of Rawai beach. The Tom yum gung was the best on our menu

Ordered the banana flower salad, Phuket noodle soup, and grilled squid, which are not the usual Thai staples, but we had a great meal. The Phuket noodle soup looks unassuming but it was absolutely delicious. Would totally return just for it. The banana flower salad had good flavors but they added too much seasoning and it was too intense. Would probably go well with some glass noodles or rice to water down the seasoning. Grilled squid was well grilled - nice flavor and not too tough. Sauce was good too. The restaurant was busy even though we came pretty late in the evening. Saw that they take reservations so that might be a good idea to avoid waiting.

Great place to grab a bite on the water. It’s Michelin recommended. I just stopped in for an appetizer and a beer. Miang kham is a rather simple dish so the presentation of it in the shot glasses was a cute difference, though I wasn’t sure the logistics of how I was supposed to take them lol. There’s an option for indoor or outdoor seating, across the street. The service on the water side was a bit slow.

Had 2 great dinners here, the fried tentacles in garlic was just so good I had to get it again. Fresh whole steamed fish with chilli and the fried fish curry were incredible. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Awesome value and nice relaxed vibes compared to some of the other more hectic fish restaurants near the market.
Jill McClay — Google review
Very cool place with very tasty food. The seating is right on the ocean, while the restaurant is across the street so the waiter has to cross the road to bring you your food (I thought it was hilarious and unique). The food itself is absolutely delicious, I had the papaya salad with salted egg, fried rice with vegetables, and the Michelin recommend deep-fried Sillago fish with turmeric powder which was incredible. I especially liked the sweet and spicy sauce the fish came with. The service was kind and fast. They were attentive to my milk allergy and ensured me no dish I ordered has dairy in it. Overall great restaurant with fair prices, definitely give this place a go if you're in the area.

Loved it! Ate outside at night, which was really nice and peaceful. We had the fried garlic pepper fish, mussels with thai herbs, vegetable fried rice and watermelon shake - every dish was top notch and super delicious! Would order the same meal again and again. The service was very quick, attentive and friendly - top place on Phuket and worth the extra distance to visit

Fast food restaurant
Green Tamarind Kitchen is a cozy and unassuming restaurant that offers a selection of American and European classics. Their burgers are particularly noteworthy for being incredibly juicy and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Despite being indulgent, even health-conscious diners are encouraged to try them due to the exceptional quality of the components used. The eatery's unassuming nature adds to its charm, making it an ideal spot for a satisfying meal after a long day.
The burgers here are massive. I can only speak for the chicken burger, but it was huge and fresh. We watched the beef burgers get made in front of us and they looked perfect. Cooked on a charcoal BBQ. Will be back later in the trip when we are feeling hungry enough to tackle one.

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger, did not disappoint. Burger was cooked to perfection and the overall package really blended in well with the cheese and veggies. Love the mayo aoli sauce that came with the fries. Might want to consider taking the small sized fries for 2 people.

Green Tamarind Kitchen is my favorite Thai vegetarian compatible in the Nai Harn area. A Pad Thai and a Papaya Salad are enough for two when you wanna eat light. Just request no fish oil in your food when you are ordering.

*5 stars for the burgers, for me easily the best - not even close - in the South of Phuket. Genuinely charcoaled grilled, good quality beef. Highly recommended for those days you just need some burger action. Can we just agree that bacon blue cheese is the pinnacle of burgers? The one here is served with caramelised onions. Yummy. Efficient staff, reasonable prices. If I had one gripe, it'd be that it's also a popular delivery option - and that does impact the ambience of dine in a little.

Green Tamarind Kitchen in Rawai impressed me with their Aussie Burger featuring beetroot. It was an absolute delight - juicy patty, fresh ingredients, and the unique addition of beetroot added a delicious twist. The flavors were harmonious, and it's clear that they pay attention to quality. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the dining experience even better. If you're in Rawai and craving a great burger, it is a fantastic choice. And then the curry, with seafood. It was really delicious and flavorful. I'll attach an image for you to check out. It's really mouth watering, isn't it?

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and wow, was I pleasantly surprised! Sure, the service might take a bit longer, but trust me, it's worth the wait. Hands down, one of the best burgers I've ever had - from the sauce to the beef, right down to the bread, everything was spot on. If you're a burger aficionado, this place is a must-visit!

Never in my life I had such a delicious burger. A large oven welcomed me and when I was asked how I would like my burger to be (raw, medium, well done), I knew this was going to be very good. Thank you for this good meal.

Rawai View is a charming cafe and bar located in the southern end of Rawai Bay, offering stunning views from its wooden terrace. The restaurant is known for serving an array of Thai and Western dishes, attracting a diverse clientele including managers from other esteemed restaurants. Despite being hidden from tourist paths, it has gained popularity due to its superb setting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing lunch under the shade of trees or a romantic dinner by the sea.
Amazing view, great food, friendly staff. I felt a little sick afterwards but that could have been all the beers, the heat, or the fact that I ate so much. Summary: Can really recommend!

Strongly recommend this place. The food is great, it's Asian style but totally different from the majority of places in Phuket. Cocktails are amazingly good! The best thing about the place is the waiters. They not just serve you, they talk to you and make those conversations interesting! As a bonus, you can sing there and get a bottle of beer if everyone applause to your performance:₽

A tucked away gem, you will not be disappointed spending time here with a cold drink and fantastic view. Absolutely stunning and unbeatable view of Rawai Beach with good elevation, shade and breeze on a warm day. Overlooking a charming quiet corner of the bay. Has 3 levels with the best views on top, but also having private access to its own sandy beach, complete with a rope swing beside the water. Atmosphere is phenomenal for a chill whilst enjoying the coast. Staff were fantastic. Food was good without being amazing. Was happy with everything, but felt Thai food was slightly westernised. If that's what you're after it's your lucky day. Pizzas were lovely from their real pizza oven.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Rawai View Cafe! The service was excellent, thanks to Tom who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. Not only that, but the cocktails from Nott were also outstanding and very original. I highly recommend trying them out. The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, with a stunning view of the Rawai beach. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would highly recommend Rawai View Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal with excellent service and delicious cocktails.

This place is incredible, food and drinks are very good. The waiter Peppy is very nice. This is a fish restaurant, but for those who do not like fish there is something to eat here. We ordered fish (sea bass with garlic), rice and chicken curry. Moreover, musicians perform here in the evening. I recommend this place to everyone.

My visit to Rawai View restaurant was a seafood lover's dream come true. The huge, juicy grilled prawns I had were a highlight of my dining experience. If you're seeking delectable seafood in a picturesque setting, Rawai View is a must-visit.

Great service and the mango salad was light, delicious, and refreshing. They were out of the ingredients to make a few of the adult bevs, but the one I had was still really good. The tide was out so the view wasn’t as spectacular but was still a lovely and peaceful spot for a late lunch.

🇨🇦 Great service. Very good meal. Great view. Sewage creek below the restaurant is not a nice scene. Oh well! 🇨🇦
Bill Lawson — Google review
The restaurant is located right at the sea, with the most amazing view over Rawai beach. Service is good, but the food was honestly not worth the visit. I had a dish with salmon, avocado and eggs Benedict. The eggs benedict was clearly not freshly made, as it was all cold. One was like hard boiled and the other one was liquid as it should be on the inside, but all cold. The rice served was also cold. Actually the only thing that was perfect was the juice, the toasted bread with jam and butter. And the only thing warm, was the omelet that we specially ordered, so it was made for order. We paid almost 1300 for this meal. The food does not match the view. The food does not match the price. So one star is doe the staff kind and friendly, good service. And one star is for the view.

Omar B — Google review
Came for the view, left sorely underwhelmed and disappointed. I feel very sorry to write this review but I feel that it must be said. The tuna appetiser was not palatable (smelled fishy and strange combination of flavours) nor did it resemble the photographs, we were charged an extra 150 baht for a “larger” lobster which looked the exact same size as what was shown. Fortunately the grilled fish was tender and juicy, but alas, it was not enough to save the meal. It’s such a pity, as we have dined all over Phuket and this was the first meal that left us feeling very unsatisfied, and we expected quality for the price paid. I’d urge you to not go by the photos on their menu or you may be disappointed when the dishes arrive to your table. Perhaps, simply order drinks if you wish to enjoy the view. Our favourite part of the evening was the live musician who played the saxophone, he was wonderful!

Rawai View is a beautiful cafe/bar overlooking Rawai Beach. There are wonderful views to be had and the restaurant has a wonderful old world ambience. We were excited to visit for breakfast after reading so many glowing reviews on Google. Sadly, the food that was presented was probably the worst breakfast we have ever had in Thailand! I ordered the Dutch Egg Benedict and my partner the garlic bread. The eggs Benedict were horrid. Hard egg yolks, watery flavourless hollandaise sauce and cheap 711 pressed ham on a chewy muffin. An absolute disgrace! Rawai View described the dish as "perfect poached eggs, savoury ham and velvety hollandaise on a toasted English muffin." The muck they served up was a million miles from their description. I understand it is not the easiest dish to prepare but if you are unable to supply the described dish then remove it from the menu. I brought it to the attention of the server and in fairness she did offer to provide me with another but I declined. My partners garlic bread was a cheap bread also, cheap ingredients here at premium prices. With a couple of drinks our total bill came to 610 baht, which included a 10% service charge of 56 baht. Whoever owns this establishment needs to retrain the cook or remove the Dutch Egg Benedict from the menu. What a disaster!

Absolute must try! Lobster with pomelo, grilled prawns and crispy batter-fried sea bass were all super fresh, big, bouncy and cooked to perfection. Very affordable- we spent under THB3000 for these 3 dishes and drinks. Place was very clean with sea view and attentive staff who helped add your sauce when its running low- lovely!
Yves Saint J — Google review
The food was very good. The manager is a little crazy but he is funny and friendly. The location is quite remote. The lobster was very good. Quite expensive for Thailand, around 1000 badh per person.
Merlijn Pietercil — Google review
The food was pretty decent and there was quite a wide range of Thai food and Western food, so it caters to a broad audience. The service was great, but I found the portions small even though the prices, by Thai standards, were pretty steep. The restaurant was positioned nicely with a great view. The defining question would be...If I was in Phuket / Rawai, would I go there again? No, I wouldn't.
Desmond Kurz — Google review
Though a beautiful spot for an early evening dinner, our meal was far beneath the expected standards. We’d eaten here six months before and enjoyed our evening but we weren’t overwhelmed. Tonight, our sea bass was over fried, dry and fairly tasteless. The salmon was small for the price, half well-done, dry and half medium rare with a rice side that was practically uncooked and barely palatable. The entire meal wasn’t for not as the shrimp cakes were some of the best that I’ve had in Thailand or elsewhere. As a whole, the ingredients seem fresh so there’s potential. Perhaps the chef was having an off night so we might be willing to come again in a few months in hopes that the kinks have been worked through.
