Restaurant
El Churrasco is a Brazilian steak restaurant located in Lopesan Costa Meloneras hotel with spectacular views of the sea and into the hotel. The menu offers many different dishes, all of which are excellent quality and worth the high prices. The staff are friendly and attentive, making this an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion.
Best place we went to at Meloneras. Well worth a visit! • Service • First of the service was very fast, attentive and kind. We had the hotel Costa Meloneras book the reservation and it all worked out great. The staff was very polite and assisted us well with food selection and wine. • Quality • The meat is very nice, we had the grill at the table and the meat was tender and juicy. The entrées was really good too and we asked for sharing and they basically brought us twice the amount for 1 price and a dish for each of us. • Location • Stunning location and view, you'll have the sunset over the coast directly at view from the inside or the patio inside the resort. It's surrounded by windows so the view is just great! • Value for money • The place is pricy, it's kind of to be expected as it's the fanciest restaurant at the promenade and of very high quality. I'd say that you get what you pay for here. Side note: You have to pay for the bread, but they just come and place it for you. I don't know if this is common here, but where I'm from bread is always served and free of charge. We ended up paying 5€ just for bread. Overall I recommend going for the experience and the view here.

I went to El Churrasco for dinner last night with my partner. We were welcomed very well with attentive staff and overall lovely design of the restaurant itself. We went for a meat option for two! It was so worth it. Meat was amazing and whole experience with having your own hot plate to give meat more time in the heat if someone wanted to have their steak well done. As a meat lover, I was very impressed. View from restaurant is great, and if you are dining during sunset, view is even better! Enjoy

I dined here twice in 2 days. Once for dinner and once for lunch. I had secreto and a burger. Both were very tasty and service was very attentive. I also loved the views.

I haven’t been to too many steak places but this was off the charts. The waiters were funny and helpful, the food was great, the atmosphere was fantastic. Went there in January on a late evening, they had these lamp heaters set up outside and they even offered some blankets. Absolutely stunning place. Even the view on the ocean was beautiful! I definitely recommend.

Really lovely meal here! The food is amazing, love that you get a little grill with your food so you can cook the steak exactly how you want it. Lovely service and really good value for money! Plus nice restaurant which has lovely views over the seafront.

Excellent Steak restaurant with a fantastic view over the sea and into the lopesan hotel. Went there to celebrate my wife‘s birthday and it definitely was the right choice. The variety of dishes was impressive for a grill restaurant, as well as the excellent wine list with local, Spanish and international wines of all kinds and styles. El Churrasco is quite high priced but you definitely get value for money! The staff was very friendly and attending, a very special thanks goes out to Orlando who did a fantastic job and made this evening very special to us! Highly recommend this place!

This is a restaurant that simply excels at serving the finest steaks/ seafood cooked to utter perfection, served neatly and unpretentiously, by friendly and professional staff. Special Thank you to restaurant Maître D Juanjo (I realy hope i said correctly) he’s so kind, so attentive and showed instrest and knowledge in all the questions we asked about steaks and cooking techniques! We never had “sweet bread” before and omg you must try this! And these Ham Croquettes- i could have eaten them all night! Delicious! My only criticism for improvement - they definitely need to teach staff in cocktail making!aperol should never be served in the tumbler glass and should never be flat! And eventhtjough this was a minor - they quickly went and made a new one. Restaurants in a hotel are hit and miss but this one is The Best overall in all the El Faro boulevard!
Raminta Si — Google review
Very nice restaurant along the boulevard, great view and even though the interior looks a bit outdated the staff is really welcoming. We went here 2 times during our holiday and their Chateaubriand was quite the unique experience as we had to finish off our meat on the grill which made it more involved than we expected but the control we had and the tender meat we ended up with was well-worth the money. All in all it was great, although I do feel like the Cheesecake wasn't as silky as I'd liked and also no-bake. Presentation of all dishes was on-point and we had a great expeeience overall.

The food was so good that I dined there twice during my holiday at Lopesan Costa Meloneras Hotel. Amazing tasty rump steak, cooked perfectly rare. The view is incredible and the atmosphere is great too. Compared to other restaurants in the area, this is definitely the best.
C PH — Google review
Wonderful place. Placed a reservation online and was ushered in without fuss. Staff were very courteous and the view from our table was amazing, we could see surfers catching a wave as we dined. The menu is very comprehensive, we had the chateaubriand which comes blue and you finish to your taste yourself on a charcoal fired pan. Other items eaten by our party were ribeye and an angus burger which were all remarked as delicious. The cost was also very reasonable, we had 6 diners and it came to under £200.
Christian French — Google review
I have been there twice, because I liked the first time and the second one too. The food is very good and the steaks are really very good. The butter is amazing and the aroma in the air is awesome. The environment is very nice and the service is very professional. Prices are above average, but it is understandable. I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 because there are two points: 1. When a costumer takes his seat, he would like a drinks (soft, wines, cocktails) menu, not a cocktail menu. 2. How dare you to charge your customer for the bread and butter that arrived when you sat and it wasn't ordered? BTW, the provolone as a starter is really amazing!
Caio Souza Cavalcante — Google review
Great place with fantastic sunset views. We didn’t have reservation and were lucky to get a table for six . The head waiter (Maitre ) is amazing and very friendly. It’s appreciated when you go to such a nice place . You have cozy views inside but also some beautiful views from the outside terrace. The food quality is excellent with a bit high prices but you pay for the quality of the food and the spectacular views

(Translated by Google) It is usually busy here and visibly short of staff. But you have a fantastic seat here with a view of the boulevard and the sea. Pastries taste delicious, as does the ice cream. Cocktails look good, but the atmosphere is good.

Come here for hot chocolate in the evenings. As am on holiday . And survive was lovely very welcoming. I would not miss out on this place. Very relaxing 😎

I had a delicious hot chocolate and a pastry. The hot chocolate was the best I've ever tasted, even better than Starbucks. Spanish singers provided excellent entertainment. Staff is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable!

Great coffee ☕️, did not eat. Just needed drinks. Sadly, it's not very french in the atmosphere. But service was good and staff friendly.

BEWARE CREDIT CARD SCAMMERS - Bought coffee and cocktails which were OK but nothing special and fell well short of our expections from the images on the menu! No problem with contactless payment by credit card for that but on way out we bought a couple of ice creams using the same card. The assistant appeared to have a problem with getting contactless to work, took the card, quickly did something on the machine and handed us the receipt. We immediately noticed on the receipt that payment had been taken in sterling! The receipt clearly stated that we had been offered alternatives of local currency and sterling, which we had definitely not! We immediately challenged the assistant but he argued and insisted he had taken payment correctly in euros! Did he think we were idiots? He called another assistant who backed up his mate and we were told to check our bank statement. We subsequently did and it confirmed the scam! Okay, it was only a small amount of money but it does not escape our attention that the business may get commission on payments in sterling! Other reviews also mention credit card scamming here! We wonder how many customers are being ripped off for much larger amounts and conversion rate charges. We will not be going back for anything else there! Oh, the WiFi there was also pretty useless, limited to 30 minutes with no re-sign in! Also not the best ice cream and rather small! AVOID!!!
Andy L — Google review
One waiter was lovely, but the one who served us was extremely grumpy, like we were too much effort, told me to move my chair as I was in the way! I didn’t think I was! He was coughing everywhere, but was very nice to the couple next to us who appeared to be wealthy. Was not a good experience. Just had drinks as we felt too uncomfortable to stay.

We had a nice coffee break here, lovely view of the beach. Great spot for enjoying the sunset and people-watching. Coffee is ok, nothing spectacular. Friendly staff. One toilet for customers at the rear of the cafe. Free wifi for 30 minutes, just request staff for access and they will give you a card with the login and password.

We had two MaiTai cocktails at the place. The place is right on the ocean. It's very atmospheric, the cocktail was delicious and the waiter was also kind. The mood is good.

We always visit for coffee and one of those little almond cakes on a near daily basis when in the area. Lovely place to watch the world go by and stare out at the ocean. Staff always excellent; they’re so busy they never stop flying back and forth! Love the piña coladas ❤️ Prawn sandwich also a must 😋

El Caldero, a renowned eatery renowned for its rice dishes and fideua, has relocated from Mogan to Meloneras. The new establishment in Meloneras is expected to offer the finest rice dishes and fideua in the Canary Islands. El Caldero has built a strong reputation among gastronomy enthusiasts, particularly those who appreciate excellent dining experiences centered around rice and fideua.
Amazing food and service! Came back 3 times because they were so nice and the food was always great! Love the paella!
Marielle Belen — Google review
We went twice during our holiday. Both times we had a couple of starters and the fish paella. It was excellent and so was the decor, the view and the staff!
Ana Finnegan — Google review
It was bussling and exciting. Very busy, even out of season, we were lucky to get a table. I would reserve to be safe. The paella was huge, it said it was for 2 but would serve 4. Because of this I found it a little pricey, as you pay per person, it was 30 Euros each for the lobster paella. The cheapest red was 20 euros, also I feel a little expensive for a house wine. But money aside, you can't go wrong, very tasty. The waiters were very nice, bar one that seemed a little grumpy. There are cheaper places out there that are just as good but there is also more expensive places that are worse.
Oliver Marsters — Google review
They have an open kitchen, so you can see how the paella is made. We had a vegetable paella which was very good.
Olaf Woudenberg — Google review
We had bad luck with other restaurants but here Lara made us feel very welcome and saved our evening. Great service, good food. Dessert was perfect. A bit expensive but the whole street is expensive tourist area. Thank you Lara.

I had a great experience here. The paella was one of the best i have ever eaten so i would definitely recommend getting one. It can get really crowded so its quite smart to et a reservation in advance.

Open kitchen - we could see how our paella was prepared. Food was lovely, really enjoyed it. However, staff was tiny bit slow and lacked understanding basic English language.
Ondrej Navratil — Google review
We ordered sauvignon blanc wine, beef carpaccio and the black paella with squid and tomatoes. The sauvignon blanc they had was very good and sweet. The beef carpaccio was amazing as well. The paella was very good and can serve 4 people. We were only 2 so we had 2 servings each and were very full at the end. The staff were also very kind, helpful and attentive. Prices were good value for money and fair as well compared to other places we’ve been to that were tourist traps. Really recommend everyone to come here if they are looking for authentic paella. We made a booking so maybe it would be best to make a booking beforehand as they asked us if we had a booking when we came. We will definitely come back next time and order the paella valenicana
J — Google review
The paella was very nice and the service was very attentive. It gets really busy soon after 7:30pm, so would recommend booking in advance or get there by 7pm or 9pm for their second serving session.

!We are - apparently - sued by the owner! That would explain why this restaurant has seemingly not so many bad reviews. See the owner's reaction below. No apology, no self reflection. He assumes we came for Friday dinner (family with 7 years old) not to have nice evening but to hurt his business. He threatens us now with repercussions. I fully understand why majority of reviewers would took bad reviews back. It doesn't worth to hire a €10k solicitor to make right one dinner. However, I have done it. This kind behaviour in hospitality is unacceptable. If he attacked you in the past, feel free to join us as a witness. The initial review: Arrogant staff, swearing, forgetting orders. Avoid at any cost. My wife left crying. Literally. Woeful. We are visiting restaurants quite often and let me tell you, this one is 40% price of good Michelin, but has a service of pack of thugs. The highlight? Waiter with heavy Spanish accent claiming to be native speaker from Manchester teaching guests that fish and chips is processed food and can be served as croquettes... Brilliant and sad at the same moment. Speaks lots about honesty, quality and hospitality. The funny part? The same waiter laughing telling us that if we have a complaint we can come next day or never, he doesn't care. Probably owner...? He certainly acts like that. Addition: The restaurant responded with threats to guests who left angry and hungry, footing the full bill. So no, nobody ate. Saying opposite is plain and simple lie. I do not think this needs a comment. My wife cried, because this was the first time in our life we had to complain in a restaurant (we have done it very rarely, my wife has extensive experience from hospitality and deep understanding) and been lied to. It reminded her something from the past which is deeply personal. The fact that owner used it is unspeakable fault (he even hasn't been there!) and - see below - it probably will have consequences in this case. As you can see, I leave all types of reviews good or bad. And I am ready to defend my claim that this was the worst experience in any restaurant ever. Anywhere to anyone. The test of truth (for an English native speaker): Ask for waiter born in Manchester and enjoy his Mancunian. PS: What would elsewhere there and then end with "sorry for misunderstanding, just pick anything else" becomes a lawsuit, because of waiter being rude. Now, because the owner threatens me and my family with lawsuit (see his response) I gathered evidence, obtained witnesses and hired a solicitor in Las Palmas. That is required, apparently, when you dine in El Caldero and complain. I shall inform you about the development. Stay tuned.
Michal Gow — Google review
Great presentation. The salad was indeed the star of our lunch. The combination of pine apple and everything else was just refreshing. Unfortunately, the paella was kind of disappointing. Not only it wasn’t that aromatic but all of the mussels were on the verge (or already went off the edge) of going bad. They were cold (colder than room temperature) and gave a bitter after taste. I’m fully aware that you don’t necessarily cook clams and mussels along in the pan. It’s ok to just top the paella with already cooked shell fish. But I don’t think it’s acceptable to sprinkle cold mussels on top of the paella. We didn’t say anything then because we didn’t see the point. We didn’t want an apology or a complimentary anything to make up for the mishap either. It just wouldn’t buy back our first impression.

This luxury hotel located next to Meloneras Beach and Golf Course in southern Gran Canaria features airy rooms with views of the ocean, free breakfast, pools, dining and entertainment. It also has a spa and striking design inspired by Antoni Gaudi.
We had the most amazing trip with our child. My husband and I were able to relax while our child is having a great time at the Daisy Club. Zed, Janice, Victor and Noemi where all fantastic child minders and group leaders. Everyday, they had different activities ranging from crafts, sports and culminating with the kids disco with Daisy. They kept all activities fun and engaging for the children and even for us parents. You can really sense that they are well trained in handling groups of small children. The Hotel itself is amazing. We were treated with great food everyday and the staff are all hospitable. Rooms are likewise great. We loved the pillows and we slept soundly at night after a relaxing day by the pool. We would highly recommend H10. If you have kids and longing to have that me-time with your partner or spouse, this hotel is the best place to go to. You can relax and have the peace of mind that your child is enjoying the vacation as well.

Stayed here for a week from start to finish it was fantastic. we arrived late and reception was great they opened the buffet at 11-12 for late arrivals and the rest of our holiday was absolutely superb. This Hotel is immaculately clean no bugs or cockroaches anywhere. The staff were outstanding and great service all the time. Definitely go privilege it is 100% worth it. The food in the la brassie is spectacular for lunch and dinner. I will have no hesitation coming back. Thank you for a great holiday!

Exceptional hotel in terms of location by the sea and the gardens. The cleanliness of everywhere , quality of the service and great food. The friendliness of staff including Gerardo and the reception team. The Blue team combine fun and activities through the day. The yoga and Aqua gym was most enjoyable and a good work out. Thank you Zed and Janice for the friendship during our stay. We loved our spa day too and treatments. This is our second visit and my wife and daughter will return here again in June.

So my stay didn't start well, one wing of the hotel is opposite a noisy night club and the sound insulation in the room wasn't great, I was kept awake by the music until 2am. After complaining, I was moved the next day, however it turns out all the staff (so I assume the booking agent knows as well) know about the noise and the hotel is taking some form of action to get the music turned down. However until that is done those rooms shouldn't be let. I did feel like I'd been taken as a bit of a fool. I did ask to see the manager but he was too busy, so I spoke to the customer services, which was a bit like banging my head off a wall, they just weren't interested. I invited them to make some sort of amends for what they had put me through, but they were just not interested. So to be balanced the outside spaces, pools and the gym are very good, the pool and room staff were great, however some of the dinning room staff treat you like an inconvenience. On the whole, my week was spoilt by some of the staff and the noise issue on the 1st night, so I wouldn't stay here again. There are plenty of better places to stay. I think it's a bit dishonest to know their is an issue at the hotel and not tell people before they book.

Six of us stayed all inclusive for 7 nights in this wonderful hotel. The food is very good, the service equally excellent and the amenities are top notch. The whole place is very clean and cleaned regularly. We got one free meal at the a la carte restaurant which was refreshingly different to the usual, and again service was impeccable. If I had one complaint it’s that the gym is not air conditioned, that makes workouts very hot! Otherwise we would absolutely return in the future. Not too far from Meloneras town centre with a beach and shops. 5 star hotel deserves a 5 star review!

Unforgettable family stay at this amazing resort. We grandparents, our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren aged 6 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably the best resort we have stayed at. Rooms, surroundings, restaurants, the beautiful pools, yes everything was spotlessly clean. All the staff were from start to finish friendly, welcoming and very service minded. None of us wanted to leave. I can only give this resort the best recommendations.

Just back from a 6day break and we can’t moan about the staff location of the hotel or the facilities. All staff very helpful polite attentive. Good choice of food however like the entertainment aim towards a German audience. Only downside for myself as a smoker couldn’t smoke on our patio, understand public areas around pools but this is the only hotel in the canaries haven’t been allowed in own area. Would we stay there again, yes.

We stayed here for 3 night with all inclusive in a suite. I already live in Gran Canaria so it was a last minute break for us. We really enjoyed it here, the pools are very nice and it always feel quiet enough to relax. The meals at the buffet restaurant were good, but I think they drastically decrease the quality of foods used for breakfast compared to lunch and dinner. The staff are all very nice, the only issue with them was that they almost always gave us an alcoholic drink when we asked for non alcohol, but it wasn’t a problem as they would replace them when told them. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet on the quieter side of Maspalomas. It’s perfect for me because I hate crowds and night life but for others this may be disadvantage. the beach just below the hotel is very nice too.

A brilliant holiday here as always. Perfect setting for an excellent time away, plenty of sun, relaxing, swimming and entertainment. The rooms are clean, spacious and with lovely views. All of the staff at the hotel are attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and always varied, catering for all tastes. The activities are run by a fabulous team, heading up the team is Zed. So there is always something to keep you busy if you want!

We found this holiday to be very nice, the rooms felt a little dated but the rest of the hotel was very nice and bright. The hotel was very clean and generally well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in all of the restaurants were very nice, we ate in the a la cart restaurants most days. I would recommend you upgrade to privilege if you can, you seem to get better positioned rooms, access to all of the restaurants and the lounge. I heard some people complaining about the loud noise from nearby restaurants/clubs, but we never heard this noise at night - maybe we slept with doors closed with the AC on.
Phil Sainter — Google review
Our suite is really dark. No lights on the ceiling, and this dark is very frustrating. The food is second class, very far from high quality. Kids are absolutely not welcomed. The child pool is very cold, to the spa is not possible to go with a child under 16, and the kids club is always closed. With a child better to choose an other hotel. Most of the staff is very kind and helpful, especially Fernando in the bar, Zed the Croatian (animator?). Minibars are not refilled everyday, so we had to buy water in the shop. (We are in all inclusive) The photography is extremely expensive. They ask 310 euro for 60 pictures in digital format Sometimes we have bad canal smell in the bathroom.
Vilmos Simonyi — Google review
It's not a 5-star experience, but that's some what expected given the price you pay. I'm not sure what criteria must be met in Spain for a hotel to gain 5 stars, though their standards would fall short of many other European countries. They force men to wear trousers at dinner jn the hotem which really is a little much in 30 degrees of heat. Also, why force men to wear trousers when there are no restrictions for the ladies. With all that said, we enjoyed our stay here. The food was quite good in the self-service restaurant, and standards were high in the fee paying restaurants. The pool areas and the hotel in general is very nice, the building exterior is very striking and uniquely styled. It's located in a quiet area beside a shopping centre in which half the area is closed but there are some great restaurants and bars within if you can get over the eerie emptiness. Staff in the hotel are mostly very nice and quite helpful if you have any issues.

Fabulous hotel with fantastic facilities. Only criticism is that the buffet style meals were not always hot. Difficult to achieve when serving spread over three hours

The overall building was very nice! When you come in everything is explained to you very clearly in detail. The restaurant is of the best quality! Surprisingly, there aren’t a lot of people, so there’s a lot of room in the pool. The afternoon sporting activities are also very nice, Ale and Paula do a very nice job with that. Overall a nice time!

We have just completed a week’s holiday at the hotel. The only word that sums it up is Fabulous. I can honestly say that every aspect of the hotel from start to finish is flawless. The restaurants are absolutely first class, in fact the issue is, anywhere else you go wouldn’t be better. The Gaudi is Michelin star quality. Superb. The waiting staff lead by inspirational leaders like Marta and Angela don’t miss a beat. Nothing is too much trouble, service is on point and as I said below, you won’t want to go outside the hotel as it’s the best around! The pools, the sundeck, all of it. World leading. Note, we did upgrade to privilege, so we did have some enhanced aspects, but at all levels this hotel, it’s team members, facilities, location and overall experience are without exception fantastic. A majority of people we met were returning guests and I can see why. This is one for the calendar, every year I hope. I could go on and on, but you’ll have to go to experience it for yourself. Thank you to all the team at the hotel, you made our holiday and our memories.

Our stay was lovely. The children’s club reps and entertainment were fabulous and our kids were huge fans of all things Daisy club! The food was lovely, and the service in the restaurants was equally good. We rarely left the hotel as the facilities were great. The shopping centre nearby is a little rundown but everything you need is on site - the spa was also fab. We had some issues regarding baby changing - the baby changing facilities are only available in the female toilets meaning my husband had some difficult conversations with the staff when our son needed to be changed, including a waitress who asserted that “the mother should be changing the baby”. But that didn’t detract from an otherwise wonderful holiday.

We had an amazing week at this hotel! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although we stayed in an old room, we were informed that the hotel is renovating and new rooms will be available soon. The pool areas were big and beautiful with a stunning view of the garden and the ocean. The hotel is located in a great area with clubs just at the doorstep. We would like to give a special shout-out to Zvonimir the entertainer who made our stay so memorable. He was so caring and professional with people he was born to dealing with guests. We wish him all the best in his future career at the reception desk. Karima the bartender was also lovely and made our stay so pleasant. She is a great asset to the hotel. The night shows were below our expectations, but we suggest that they should improve by having better singers and singing popular songs. This way, people can enjoy and sing along. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Update: Fantastic response from the hotel to my review. I feel valued and my feedback heard. Great to hear they do accommodate vegetarian and vegan guests with special plates. Firstly: the negative reviews referencing the noise from the nearby club can now be ignored as the hotel have won legal action case against the club! This hotel is now a peaceful quiet retreat. Full review: An interesting hotel with multi-level layout. Nice sized rooms. Good pool options including an infinity pool. A decent spa with professional massages available. Very friendly staff. An ok activity schedule. An evening entertainment every night of varying quality (all external act bookings). Pretty much everything was great. The beach is a very short walk down some steps. The nearby town is a pleasant 20min walk along the coast. The only negative for me would be some of the food in the evenings was not great, in that it was clearly rehashed food from previous meals. Sometimes it was overcooked, or it just wasn't very nice. Don't get me wrong, most of the food most of the nights was good - especially the freshly cooked griddled food, or specialist meal of the evening; for us this was (changed each day): roast pork, roast turkey, build your own fajitas, build your own kebabs, and a whole salmon. If you're a omnivore you'll be fine but you won't enjoy the veg most nights. If you're a vegetarian you'll struggle, if you're a vegan I genuinely don't know what you'd do >> Update: The hotel's reply confirms you can ask for special plates. Be sure to do this ahead of your stay or on arrival.

Staff all exceptionally polite, friendly and efficient. Vast area, need to find your way round as it's across different levels. Bedroom was large and airy, garden room. But bed was lumpy and hard, not 5 star quality, same with bed linen and towels. We did not have Privilege but were all inclusive, but impossible to eat anywhere except buffet - breakfast and lunch we're good, evening meal was OK but repetitive and unimaginative, not 5 star, more like a big noisy cafeteria. We ate out a couple of evenings at some great local restaurants. Pool towels - one each no exceptions! And only from the spa which meant you had to traipse across the grounds and downstairs to replace, why not available by the pools?? Again not what's expected at a 5 star hotel. Access to spa was included, lovely facilities and plenty of towels! Reflexology massage by Lana was excellent. Staff always friendly. Very clean, well maintained, the lovely staff made it a pleasure, but there were a few grumpy staff particularly in the buffet, need to improve dining arrangements and treat guests like they're at a 5 star hotel.

Impeccably maintained and cleaned. We enjoyed our stay and only the shower in the bath - no walk in - disappointed. Free secure parking a bonus. The all inclusive included cocktails and decent spirits but was very limited with the wines. For the price charged a better range of better wines required. Staff excellent and we would recommend. Nice hotel with pleasant friendly staff. Food in buffet was fresh and plentiful, children might have a problem if they like things like chicken nuggets.

It takes a little while to get used to the layout but once you are it is fine, and your daily step count will thank you. Amazing buffet, lots of food choices. Very close to the beach, and the pools are brilliant. Highly recommend the location if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time.

We came to stay for 10 days for the new year. This hotel is not suitable for children 🚫 The food isn't children friendly. The children's pool is too cold and the infinity pool is warmer but children are not allowed to use this one. Overall nice location but I feel there would be better hotels for the cost.I will not be returning.

The review is considering the extremely high price and 5-Star rating. For a 5-star hotel, some of the things being offered are a joke. The service, especially during breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant was sometimes appalling. We had a disagreement with one waiter and the next day other staff members mentioned that their colleague told them about us and what we did. Are we in highschool or what’s going on? Just childish. Some of the waiters were simply rude. Everything done by the staff told us that we are not welcome or I guess we weren’t paying enough for friendly service? The rooms and location are very nice though. Just avoid the restaurant. Or better, choose another hotel.

This is an excellent hotel. Nice enough rooms (we went "Privilege" ) having had a 'soft' refurb. Main buffet restaurant was good, but both the Gaudi and Brasserie restaurants were disappointing, so much so that we ate elsewhere. The food was quite simply bland and not as expected considering the fuss made over it in the hotels and tour operator's websites (we were with Tui). The grounds are a real delight once you found your way around....they are massive! The whole place is MUCH quieter than nearby Maspolomas which is much more touristy. Evening entertainment was in my view poor. Cheesy singers re-hashing classics. I also found there to be only limited indoor sporting facilities....why no table tennis? And why, if they mush charge 2euros for a single game of pool (very penny pinching in a 5* hotel!) can they not a: re-cover the tables and b: get them level! However, despite the grumbles we had a great time and would consider going back.

Had a great week here, the food, the staff, the service and the location were fantastic. The rooms extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. While we did not visit any of the a la carte restaurant, the quality, the range and diversity of food in the main restaurant were very good and certainly as expected of 5* hotel. Many pools to choose from and nightly entertainment pretty good. Highly recommended and a big thanks to all in the hotel and we make sure we will be back.

Amazing hotel. Great service. Fantastic food and wonderful selection and variety. They made a huge effort for St Valentine's Day. We were all inclusive and our group of six were very impressed.

The restaurant Ovo is located in the exclusive Hotel Lopesan Villa del Conde, and it offers a phenomenal market cuisine that combines the best products of the islands with the amazing Canarian recipes. The food was excellent in every respect, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.
This restaurant was closed during our recent visit, but was open when we visited last February. It was excellent in every respect.

Restaurant average and nothing special. Limited selection of food. Disappointing table management. Very sweet waitress but otherwise the service was disappointing. No availability to sit outside although quite a lot of tables were empty. Seems they only do one cover per table per night and are not interested to grant the wish of guests. Just a short response that all outside space is reserved. Not coming back for sure.

A very good restaurant however the standard at the normal restaurant is so high that it's hard for the Ovo to compete. The staff at Ovo were very friendly and helpful and the steak was excellent, the salmon was a little over done. Starters were good as were the desserts.

(Translated by Google) We cannot understand the negative recessions. We ate very well here at really average prices. There is a large selection of very good wines and the service is extremely friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

Pretty restaurant for important people. Don’t come here if you are casually clothed and not rich. The personal is unpersonal and just serve “the right” people.
