One of the nicest beaches with clean water and less crowd. There's something that's really attractive about this place is the shore here. It is full of sand and sea shells without dead corals and mud which makes it very very clean and appealing. The breezes and the waves altogether make a soothing and peaceful atmosphere installing calmness.

This beach was peaceful and beautiful when I travelled here with family. Better to visit this place in morning up to lunch and evening. I enjoyed colours of nature, beautiful scenery, in blue ocean, different waves, white sand,blue sky and surrounding is with coconut trees and fishing boats.. It's good for relaxation and to enjoy food and music. There are local handmade jewellery sellers on beach. Jwellery from shells and other things they asks you to buy them at higher prices for their survival. Just do bargaining first and then take it if you want anything otherwise better to avoid that.

After palolem this is my next favourite beach... This kind of is in the middle of many beaches and you can walk to many other beaches from here. The beach is clean and manned with many lifeguards. Beach shacks are reasonably priced and can be found with many varieties.

One of the good beach in south goa ! Beach is less crowded and not too deep and water current is also not so strong, So it's safe for playing in water. Also beach is not completely filled with shacks which makes beach silent and calm. People can enjoy throughout the day. Parking is free and there are 2 parking areas available at different beach entrance. Public wash rooms are available at newly built parking area which is at other side entrance (Around 200 mtrs left diversion from the main beach entrance)

This Benaulim beach lies in South Goa just after Famous Colva beach if you are heading towards south and in your left side Varca and cavelossim beach is there and right side (while entering) Sernabatim, Colva beach.

This was part of my morning beach walk route during the trip, as this was at a walkable distance from our resort. It is a clean and well-maintained beach. If you visit early in the morning, you can see the fishermen and different types of fish, squids, and jellyfish in the nets.

Beach had little smell but that is manageable… this place also have some water sports like parasailing 🪂, banana ride etc…. Live music and performances are there in many shacks like Dominic shack…. Goa Chitra Museum presents the true culture and life of the people in Goa. It was a great experience to relive old memories while walking down the paths of the museum. The tour guide was very fluent with the information that she shared and created an interactive space for us. It was refreshing to see passionate and young tour guides energetically take us around all the 3 museums. This work of one man to collect &moreover maintain over 40,000 objects is highly commendable and valued ! We need more people aligned with a similar vision to conserve the past to enrich all our futures!

After days at the beach, visiting historical temples and churches, visit this museum to experience four hundred years of Goan history at this small but well maintained private museum. The museum has a large number of artefacts with various sections related to transportation from the past, hospital, and surgical instruments (ancient posters educating locals about hygiene and ways to stop the spread of infections). Kitchen pots and pans, kerosene stoves, distilleries, musical instruments, Hindu and Christian items of worship, a model steam engine, clocks, phewwww, the list is endless. The guide who showed us around was very clear and knowledgeable and kept the group well entertained and informed. Everyone and their children thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

This museum is a mind blowing experience. Definitely worth the visit and time. Give yourself at least an hour to immerse yourself here. The guided tour is a part of the package and helps you understand the collection better. Can't thank Sushant enough for his very entertaining, engaging explanations. He is very patient with questions and entertains queries with so much dedication. If you're in a hurry, don't visit the museum. It deserves the time. The curator has collected more than 40,000 objects from across the country which requires patience and time. Also, not sharing too many photos, since the exhibits need to be seen in person and photographs do no justice to them.

Well maintained museum having 3 different sections. The guided tour was really good and descriptive. 1 hour would be enough time to walk through and know about Goan cultural things and other various heritage objects kept in the museum. Recommend to visit if you want to explore Goa other than beaches.

The museum is a wonderful experience for people who would like to know the indonportuguese culture history and way of living. The ticket is a bit pricey i would say given you can finish the route in 30 -45 mins. The best part is you shall be provided a guide who shall take you through every corner of the museum and explain its relevance

Absolutely loved visiting this place. A must visit place for all those who love history, ancient culture. It is an amazing collection of old items and artifacts and the owner / Curator has done a commendable job in collecting and maintaining the museum. The staff guide Sarah is very knowledgeable and literally took us down the history lane and very nicely explained about the collection. Overall, a real WOW and pleasurable visit to the museum. Goa Chitra Museum is a doorway to the past. Well preserved artifacts are divided into three sections for better understanding and a peek into the Goan way of living before modernization. We were fortunate enough to meet the curator/owner of the collection, Mr Victor Hugo Home, who explained the idea behind his project and the presentation. Instead of adding plaques with the information about each article, there is a guide. Our guide, Tracy was knowledgeable and made our visit to the museum all the more interesting and personal. Thank you for preserving a part of Goan history. This place is worth a visit

This is a little gem of a museum 😀 in South Goa! Must visit place - you must take out at least 2 hours for this museum tour. Tickets priced at 300, kids charged half - which is all worth it. I believe crowd management can be a bit better.

I wish some of the stuff is kept uncluttered for people to take pictures. Very interesting place. Though it looks small from outside. It's a vast place sprawled in 4 buildings. Well maintained and displayed antiques and equipment of olden times The guide is very informative and patiently explained each item displayed there.

Not an easy find, but it's tucked amidst a serene way in the beauty lanes of goa. There are 3 museums as part of the entire experience that is guided as part of the entry fee that's Rs 300/- per person. As per your choice of language, i.e. English, hindi or goan the tour is given. The museum has various rare artefacts that date back to the 17th era, mostly from the time goa hadn't received independence. It shares the tools used for cooking, warfare, hospitals, music, and even commute. Right from the religion intricacies followed to daily means of living, customs and unknown nuances across cultures pertaining to different states of the country are displayed here. Since there is a lot to show and very little space you might find it a little cramped up but the entire guided experience is indeed fun for people who love museums and are truly inquisitive about the evolution of man and his toys across sectors. The tour is approx 45 mins for all three museums and you can go through it at ease. There is a cute cafe as well for some chilled drinks and light food. Must visit museum!

It was an amazing experience to witness such a huge, private collection of antiques of eras gone by. Mr Victor Hugo Gomes, the owner, is an artist, collector, and restorer, and we had the great opportunity to meet and talk with him. It was both interesting and informative to see the three museums - Goa Chitra, Goa Chakra, and Goa Cruti. Each artifact holds a story.. and our guide Ashika helped us to understand all of it as we wove through a treasure trove of relics so lovingly and painstakingly collected and displayed. Time stood still as we were transported back to times where developments were achievements. The ticket is for Rs 300/- per person, which includes all the 3 museums and a guide. Worth it .. Would love to visit again.

Goa Chitra is one of my favourite museums. Most museums stress the chronology of events, which can be boring. Goa Chitra is about lived history. It is also for people who are curious about how objects are designed. Tiny innovative objects that are used over and over again and then get forgotten as society moves on. They encapsulate lived history better than anything that can be found in books. Through objects that were used in daily lives, the museum gives you a sense of how Goans have lived their lives through the centuries. The highlight is the transport section of the museum where you can see the range of different types of carts people in India have used to travel. In Goa Chitra, you travel both across space and across time.

This Museum is an ambitious and grand vision of an individual collector. It is unimposing, nestled in the village of Benaulim but opens up into 3 separate collections - Kruti, Chakra and Chitra. I found Chakra with its amazing collection of traditional carts and modes of transport as well as some carts of colonial times from all over the country the most fascinating. It was also the most well displayed. Chitra was devoted to Goan agrarian life. The collection was extensive but could be better display or arranged. Kruti the section which presented Portuguese living in Goa could be better curated. The museum ticket includes a guided tour and our guide Alfonso courteously explained all the exhibits. If you want to experience Goa beyond the beaches and the food, Goa Chitra provides a nice glimpse of its history and culture along with some older modes of transport as bonus. Well done Victor Hugo Gomez.

This museum is a must visit place if you really want to go back in time. What a collection! The owner himself collected all the artifacts over the years. It's really unbelievable. There are a total of 3 different museums that get covered in a single ticket of Rs. 300 per peson. A personal guide is provided, which is a great thing. Property is very well maintained.

I nice and peaceful beach where we could sit for a long time and just eat and be at peace. The beach over was a nice place but couldn't give it a 5 star since I felt if lacked the general Goan lustre unlike the other South Goan beaches. Unfortunately I was looking for accommodation in the area and the available accomodations weren't at all satisfactory.

The beach is good enough but mostly crowded. There are different shack’s available for leisure. There also multiple water sports available here like parasailing, jet ski, etc. Parking is available for free. Also the shops are available at walking distance from the beach.

One of the cleaner beaches, way better than the ones in Mumbai. Lifeguards keep people in check and locals are good people.

A beautiful, long and sandy beach in Colva. It is lined with shacks, hotels, restaurants, lounge chairs etc. Before entering the beach, there are two small footbridges. It is less crowded than the beaches in North Goa. However, there are fishing boats and stray dogs roaming in the vicinity. It is less crowded in the evenings. There is garbage scattered around the beach area. Watersport activities can be done on this beach. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

Very peaceful place 😌 loved it so much less crowded place, very smooth waves and clean water good to do water games, good for kids . Full of open area. Water rides also available but bit costly. If you search for search for a shell you will get so many different shells sea fishes

This is generally a crowded beach during the evenings but if you are staying nearby do check out the beach at sunrise when there's hardly anyone on the beach. It is also popular for the water activities and the sunsets. There are lots of joints for food and drinks on the Colva beach road that serve everything - seafood, south indian cuisine, bengali cuisine, Chinese, North Indian, etc. If your looking for more quiet beaches then you can skip it. It can feel very commercialised. Cons- the sand leading to the beach is infested with ants so try to walk fast. And beware of the over friendly homeless people living there especially if you're visiting the beach with family.

As expected it was too crowded when we visited on 18th Dec (Sunday). The beach was fun though to spend some time, playing in the water. The waves were not too rough.

It is situated in south goa. Buses are available to this place, the economical and safest means of transport if u r a solo traveller. Pleasant and peaceful place with little to no crowd. The shore mostly has black sand with small crabs n no shells. Water depth is more so life guards are always at a watch. Beach strolling and simply basking at the sunset can be rejuvenating.

A nice beach to visit in South Goa. The beach was very crowded at some places .But as you go away from the restaurants, it is more calm and cleaner. The places near the shacks are not very clean. The sunset view is amazing. You can spend a quality time with your friends and family.

I went to this beach while I travelled for goa trip with family. It's a tourist place. I love this beach because of ocean blue colour and golden sand with shells is there. It was pretty good looking with blue sky. It's good for photos in morning up to lunch time and in evening. Shades are different every moment. It's a good option for relaxation and enjoy food with beautiful nature .🌴🌴🏖️🏝️ There are some handmade jewelry sellers on the way but remember to bargain it and don't take photographs from photographers here. They are not professional all and charging alot. if you have good quality mobile camera or dslr camera. Because I faced this kind of incident that they are charging alot fees for photos and printing and if you want only in your phone and you are in hurry to visit other places then Better to avoid that kind of people. Local taxi are charging there rates as per distance. If you are little bit far away from beach for stay then it's cost like atleast rs 800 for each beach. So decide which beaches you will visit in advance and make little bit plan before going. In some areas taxis are attached to hotels. You can book it for a day and travel but you have to pay extra at every destination. I will give advice if you want to enjoy beaches only then stay near to beach areas. Avoid Saturday Sunday for crowd if possible. I went there for cultural activities so I stayed little bit away from beach area.

Very beautiful and calm beach. Well maintained and crowded towards evenings due to water sports events available there. There are some good shacks available and many other restaurants in that area. Northern side of the beach is more calm and mostly fisherman area.

One of the most least crowded beach in Goa. Very clean and litter free. All kind of water sports are available (except scuba diving). Slightly costly but can be negotiated. Limited shacks available. Neat and clean beach. One can find really small shells. Weekends are quite crowded with locals thronging the place and parking becomes real difficult as the road is narrow. Lifeguard is quite alert and warns the people going overboard and o seeing high tide lashing the shore he advises to keep away from the water.

Clean , non crowded beach we have seen till date.. Probably we were there in Oct end. We spent couple of days at Benaulim Beach. I also did two runs at the beach and its around 3 kms to colva Beach .We would recommend if you are looking for a beach to spend time with family & kids.. Its very safe since the beach front is flat for more than 50 meters. Its more of a quite place to relax and rather noisy party place. There are two good shacks on this beach which we tried- Malibu & Pedro shack. They serve the best sea food plus they have a wide range of beer collection. They also arrange for fresh towels, have wash rooms/changing rooms etc.

Because fishing is popular on Benaulim Beach, there are a lot of improvised beach shacks offering wonderful seafood.

Benaulim Beach is a rather secluded, less crowded beach compared to Colva and other beaches nearby. It's a peaceful, serene family friendly beach with a couple of shacks that serve food, drinks etc. It's a beautiful beach even for a morning walk around sunrise, when the wind and the waves are calm and the views are amazing.

An amazing cute little restaurant with which i fell in love. Lovely owner, homely ambiance, amazing food. Try whatever your heart wants because everything here is just amazing. I loved the spinach, cheese, mushrooms and poached eggs on wheat breads on wheat bread. By mistake I ordered fresh coffee pot and they replaced it easily with normal coffee.

This is a good place for breakfast and even lunch / dinner. Great service, extra star for hospitality of Pascal and Mary. The cook is great for continental breakfast / snacking dishes. Food - great - Kids are going to love it. Poached egg with spinach and cheese on wheat bread is awesome and must try, apan h and cheese omelette is great, Tuna sandwich, house special steak with mushroom sauce was very well prepared . I can avoid juice / drinks for price points. Service - I would have rated 4-star if not for service and hospitality. They make your day with a little chit chat and attention to likes of kids and customisation if needed . Awesome hosts Location - Right on Benaulim beach road , near to goodfellas and bakester dozen. Being narrower beach road - 4-wheeler parking is road side and can be issue when more vehicles are there or busy times .

Loved trying out this much recommended place by our friends. It’s in the open, with beautiful plants and old school seating. Enjoyed their breakfast menu so much 😻 The BLT inside Goan bread, and their cheese omelette was so yummm.. only thing is that it might be bland according to Indian palate, but my husband and I like it so! Oh also.. the smoky flavoured Goan sausage bhurji was tasty too!!!! Lastly, staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions!

It's an ideal place to have a relaxed breakfast or lunch. Though the place is famous for its breakfast menu, we went for lunch and were not disappointed. Prawns goan curry had a unique flavour that is uncommon at other places. Chicken xacutti is a must try.

Tldr: it's decent Had sandwich, omelette and eggs benedict. Eggs benedict was bad, dint have running yolk and was very bland (no flavour). The sandwich was quite dry as well. The omelette was nice, very homemade with your typical cheese filling.

The staff were friendly, charming and polite throughout the time we had breakfast. The breakfast serving staff really seemed to care whether we enjoyed the food or not, smiled a lot and were attentive without being overbearing.

Small but cozy place. We ordered for a chicken steak and a seafood steak, both were very well cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was also good where we were promptly suggested on what to opt for as per our palate. Reasonable priced.

One of the best places around for a lazy relaxed sunday breakfast or brunch. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Everything on the menu is so good. My favourite was the spinach and scrambled eggs sandwich with the sauteed mushrooms.

A tidy small joint in Benaulim Beach road. As we wanted something unique in Goa, we chose this place and had Banana Nutella Pancake, Avacado and poached egg with grilled tomato on wheat bread and mixed fruit juice. We enjoyed the breakfast as it was fresh and tasty. When in Benaulim one should not miss to visit this joint to try out one of their dishes from the assorted menu.

Fresh, well prepared and portioned we welcomed Dinhas' food after eating out at other places around. The energy in the place was perfect to start the day. There was a mix of groups- families and friends. Our juices really hit the spot. We found that it was worth the extra 10 minute drive. The staff was courteous and attentive. Would recommend.

A very classy nice Restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details in order to please you. I took the first Dinha's English breakfast that was excellent. With that I took a coffee . No words to say that the service is always with a smile 😁 and very patient with us. In conclusion if you have the opportunity to go eat there, do not hesitate!

I recently visited Dinah's restaurant in Goa and had an amazing experience. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, fluffy and full of flavor. The fresh juices were refreshing and tasted like they were made from freshly picked fruits. The sandwiches were also delicious, with fresh ingredients and a good balance of flavors. Everything was tasty and made my meal very enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a hearty breakfast or a casual meal

A small joint, but a very nice place near Benaulim beach. Good food, nice ambience. You will like it if you fancy a homely meal and a quiet environment.

Had a fabulous dinner experience. White Sauce Pasta, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Steak is Highly Recommended.

A very good place to have breakfast. The waitress took our order and, according to our preferences, changed some options in a set breakfast. That was kind. The breakfast items are good and make you full for a long time.

Lovely sea view just before the sunsets, nice cool breeze. Service is really good. Unfortunately the portion sizes are a little on the smaller side. We had the French fries, chicken tandoori which was good. The prawn sizzler which left a lot to be desired, and a pasta dish. I guess for the location the prices are expected. Portion sizes could be a little more though.

One of the best place to have dinner in south Goa. It was very quiet and pleasant when we visited. Food was okayish. Ambience was pleasing. Sea front dining experience with our feet in the sand, cool breeze, sound of waves & smell of the sea made it a perfect night. Highly recommended!

-Staff was courteous - Ambience is good - Limited veg options and not that delicious as compared to non-veg. Seafood not much in variety but chicken dishes were pretty good. - Restaurant did not accept zomato dining and swiggy dine out discount, even when it was visible on the apps.

Joecons is a wonderful place. It's right on the beach with a wonderful view of the setting sun. The food is great. We went in the evening on a Monday so I don't really know how happening it is on weekends but looking at the location and food and it's proximity to Taj Exotica, it should be wonderful on the weekend. We had Prawns and a sea food salad and both were delicious. I would love to go back on the weekend.

Went on a weekday. Although the food was okay, service was lacking. Although prices were affordable, food portions weren't adequate. It gives you the illusion that you spent less money, but you've eaten lesser as well! Tables were being carried and kept around us multiple times which was a bit disturbing, and the drinks served to us weren't cold. Upon asking them to change them, they said all drinks are the same temperature, and they just provided ice, which diluted our drinks. The whole place wasn't utilized, because of which people had to wait for a long time after us to get a table. I would recommend the cafreal kebabs & the chef special (Oriental) calamari.

Location: The restaurant is located on the beach. To access other beach side properties you can walk on the beach or if you are coming by road then it is located at the very end of the street. Ambience: The ambience is mind blowing as you get to have a meal by the sea. We went for dinner and the night time dinner experience by the beach was awesome 💯. They were playing live music which was very good. Food: Ordered Seer fish fry and prawn biryani. Both of which were delicious. I have had never had such a tasty prawn biryani. They also serve alcohols which we did not try. Service: Service was prompt and and the server was very efficient. 💯 They have a wash basin. They don't have a washroom. Thanks for creating such a beautiful memory of Goa.

It has a lovely ambiance. Preferable visit time is evening as it is on the beach and is perfectly lit with beautiful lighting! In the cocktails as u can see in images the orange one 'Peru meru' and the one in red'tambde Rosa' were quiet the show stealers! Their kebab platter was worth the try!

Very good setup , easy beach access . Reclining chairs available. Nice clean white sand beach . Good food . Enjoyed breakfast here on multiple days .. fresh juice, Omelettes and coffee. couple of dinners as well . The whole family enjoyed it .

Nice place, frequented by locals and Taj crowd. Food as usual is a mix of Asian (Chinese) and Indian, all to an excellent shack standard. Prices are cheap and no tax. Recommended

Nice quiet place on the beach. However used to be more secluded now it’s picking up. Seeing more crowd here now. Compared to other shacks in Goa this place has decent pricing. Quality and taste of food used to be much better. Gone down a lil bit. Still a good place overall.

Went for a late lunch. Food was tasty with a great view and beach access. Though not much good options to try on the menu and a few that I wanted to try was going to take 45 minutes for preparation.

Firstly they offer us to select which fish you want to served, service was good. Goan Racheado Redsnipper Fish was delicious. This restro is situated near beach & serving seafood , indian & some multi cuisine dishes. We went for dinner with friends it's was great time.

This beautiful outdoor restaurant, which is very typical to Goa, is just like any other spot here, a lot more lively during the seasonal times. It's got a green ambience with very wood-warm tones around. A pleasant set up to have a good meal. I ordered a chicken pizza, pork chilly and a chicken satay. All of it tasted wonderful. The pizza was thin crusted and delicious while the pork had good enough meat to satisfy my hunger. The chicken satay had a pinch of lemon with spice and was served with a yum peanut based dip which was a good combo in my opinion. They also have a small play area right outside the place where kids can enjoy some table tennis, chess or even swing on the cute swings available there.

Nice place, very nice prawns fry. Staff specific Nikhil was very helpful and polite. Try the load drinks with chef’s choice.

The food is absolutely delicious! All of the dishes i ordered were amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is super quick. The owner himself is present on most occassions ensuring the quality is maintained at all times. Prices are reasonable and extremely value for money considering the taste. Ambience is elegant as well as the restaurant is located in a quite and serene neighbourhood. Definitely would recommend when in the locality.

The food was tasty especially the Lamb Rogan Josh is to die for. Service was good. Just was disappointed with the washrooms as it was dirty & is located in a dingy corner. Being a good rated restaurant this basic need should have been taken care of.

This place is nearby Taj exotica resorts and spa, Property is on road and have parking at back which is easily accessible. Vibe is awesome, food is great, quiet place with all the things you want to enjoy for good food cravings. Staff is too accommodating and they love to serve you. Overall experience is great.

This is a really nice restaurant. Two and four wheeler parking available. We ordered puri bhaji and plain dosa both were nice and tasty. It also have live music and karaoke night during nights. Offer 2+1 on drinks.

In South GOA I came across a very Decent & Amazing Hotel Restaurant.The environment is soo peaceful & relaxing.It’s theme is totally nature friendly with fresh fragrances of flowers .Coming to their services that is outstanding ,The staff are very friendly . Last but not the least the Food is extremely delicious 😋. Do visit this restaurant. Special Thanks to Shishir for the decent & friendly behaviour. Note - Every Saturday night they have live music concert 🎵. Which will add an extra cheryy on the cake .

We recently spent a month staying at Gigi Park (Woodside Inn). The accommodation was excellent. The room was very good and cleaned every day. The restaurant was superb, we ate there many times during our stay and every meal was of a very high standard and tasted great. Nothing was too much trouble for Garin and his team. We would recommend anyone coming to the Benaulim area to stay there it is excellent, and great value for money. Keith & Gail

Located in Benaulim, this is a beautiful restaurant with a really soothing ambience. The food is amazing. Special shoutout to the crab cakes, they were exquisite! The drinks are good, the staff is polite and very friendly. I personally loved the chicken xacuti and fish curry.

Title: "Disappointing Hookah Experience and Billing Issues" Review: Our visit to the shack left much to be desired. Initially, the hookah prices were exorbitant, leading us to negotiate for a more reasonable rate of Rs 1000 per hookah. We opted for Kiwi Pan and Watermelon Mint Pan flavors, only to discover they didn't have the promised flavors. The visual appeal of the hookahs didn't translate to a satisfying experience; even after changing the coal and attempting various adjustments, the quality remained subpar. The red hookah depicted in the picture turned out to be useless. To add to the disappointment, the fries were only mediocre. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to find it was Rs 2600, a figure we hadn't agreed upon. Resolving this issue became a significant challenge, highlighting a lack of integrity on their part. Beware of discrepancies between promises and reality at this establishment. Our overall experience was undeniably unpleasant.

The food was pathetic. It was not fresh. They used lots of unnecessary spices which was not cooked properly and it made my stomach upset. My husband vomited whole night. After serving this idiotic food, the servant had the obesity to ask even for the tip.

Main focus is on foreigners as they pay well for items which are not priced. As many people have shared, price is not listed for various items and that gives them a way to cheat customers. So ask price and bargain well - quote half of what the waiter quotes. No proper bill, so they are not paying gst also. Average food and very slow service. Ambience is good as any other shack.

The staff is extremely rude and tries their best to dupe the customers as much as possible. We ordered red snapper fish and insted of pieces we got a pulverised fish completed broken. On complaining the staff started abusing us with slangs. Completely ruined our holiday experience for that day.

Amazing place! We had three types of fresh fish, lobster and shrimp. Great coconut pina colada and chilled white wine. We sat in beach chairs and swam in clear ocean water and clean beach. Then at sunset they sat out tables and chairs for a gorgeous sunset view. Richard gave great service!!! We highly recommend.

My fiance and I had some lovely meals here. You start thinking all the food is the same at all the beach shacks but the food here is distinctive and very tasty. We were served by Richard who told us all about the local area and made our visits very pleasant.

We had drinks during the day twice and dinner one evening on the beach. The food was exceptional we had two meals from catch of the day. These are pay by weight, they were fantastic and worth every Rupee. The quality was unbelievable and unexpected. Great food indeed and lovely people they gave us a ride back to our hotel. Very kind.

Awesome food and drinks. The shack has a nice ambience and sitting deck from where we get a nice view of the sea. The service is quick and must recommend breakfast sandwiches, poori bhaji, parathas.

It's a SCAM. I ordered fish lobster because the waiter recommended it to me. For all fish types the menu had no prices though as the price depended on the fish weight. After dinner when giving me the bill I was shocked. They asked for 6500 Rupees. They claimed the price is so high because it was the end of the season and therefore lobster is rare. It was stupid of me to order sth without a clear price. That gave them the chance to make up whatever price they wanted. A lesson learned for life. Still that restaurant is a scam. Do NOT eat there!

Had a great time on all 4 days that we visited this shack. Richard the promoter was very friendly and recommended a variety of dishes including the fresh catch of the day. Aunty's (Richard's Mom) recipes are yummy and the selection of drinks is wide. But the superstar is Sharad the waiter. A cute and cocky young lad charming you with his service and sass ... Definitely worth a shot

Lovely food, ambience and wonderful live music... The Vegans in our group were also very happy. The choices were limited for them but food was delicious. The sea food options are very good. You have choice of selection and way of cooking. Lovely and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing comfortable sunbeds on the beach. The food was the best we have had at any beach shack during our 3 week visit. Chicken tandoori and daal makhani was fantastic and the fat chips are definitely worth coming back for!!

Such an outstanding place to spend the day. The food is great at a reasonable price with comfortable chairs for dining. But the best thing about this place is the 3 service. I've stayed at many 5 star hotels where the service doesn't even come close to the service that we receive here at sun n moon. I must say it’s an Awesome place .

Great for getting your fried food fix every now and then. The service is quick and portions are plentiful. A large order of the popcorn shrimp platter is more than enough for two people and the shrimp are always cooked so they 'pop' in your mouth, never chewy. I tried the fried oysters and flounder yesterday, awesome. The large tables require you to sit with others, which allows you to meet new people. My family and I always enjoy the experience here.

This is a fantastic place with wonderful food, incredible service and just a great place to spend the day or eat in the evening. We have been to this area for many years, always going to a different shack every day, with some favourites. About late January we tried Sun and Moon, and was blown away with their food, service and great location. Needless to say we kept trying others too but soon realised no other shack compared. So, excellent food, great staff, and although I’m not a fan of cocktails - theirs are amazing. Five o’clock has become margarita time. Try it - you definitely won’t be disappointed. The waiters are friendly, engaging and just lovely helpful blokes. It’s a great atmosphere amongst the staff and managers so it’s really lovely to be there. Thanks for making our stay super memorable.

Wow Wow Wow! What a beach shack!!! Even during these unprecedented times, this beach shack has blown us away! There were no excuses in terms of their service, food, and beverages. This restaurant is very popular with many international tourists. We were felt very welcomed by the owners who were on site. In terms of the food, it was pocket friendly and very broad and tasty. (The menu is also in English and Russian!). Most of the restaurant is outside, so there were no worries about coronavirus. And even better, it is rated. 2 in the top ten places to eat in the area!

Best place to hangout in the evening with live music and singing on weekends. We enjoyed the songs with lovely , yummiest food veg and sea food.Excellent beach shack... Ambience were stunning and better than shaks on beach. I will highly recommend for lunch dinner. Every time we tried different items and it was finger licking good. Staff is courteous to attend you and guest feel safe here. Surely visit again

My husband & I have enjoyed both a lunch & dinner here. Sunjay & his team are amazing. Very professional & friendly, their knowledge of English is good. Clean restaurant with fresh tasty food. They will prepare anything you want. (Fab homemade chunky chips.) They are doing happy hour on cocktails between 5 & 6pm. Give them a try, you will not regret it. T & J.

It feels like there is more salt on my food than in the sea! The quality of the food is poor. The price of the drinks are good. When I’ve eaten a meal here I feel like I have to drink litres of water! The restaurant put out beech umbrellas. They look after you on the beach if you spend plenty of money in the restaurant. Otherwise the worker who deals with you on the beech can be rude, dismissive or says in English ‘I can’t speak English’. It’s like a sketch from the English comedy ‘Fawlty Towers’! It would be funny if it wasn’t true!! Find yourself a friendlier restaurant! We in fact did eat meals and breakfasts at this restaurant but realised the standard is so poor. We did buy drinks too. The owners response does not make any sense.

I want to put 0 stars for food and services. When we first started going to this place we were treated well but once we had bad experience with the quality of their food I.e too salty we began to just use their sunbeds and only ordering drinks. We also bought drinks during their happy hours. The manager kept tabs on how much we were spending in their place hence the treatment of us went down ie couldn’t get sun beds we wanted and always saying they were all reserved. We complained to the manager , but he was on the side of the staff he was dismissive about the rudeness of his staff. My advices is not to used this place . Following response from manager I want to make a few points , We used this place in a number of occasions for breakfast, dinner and during happy hours so what the manager says it’s incorrect! However I still maintain this place is of poor quality and my advice is not to use it!

Probably the best place ive ever used in 18 plus years of comming to goa...the staff are so attentive and are always pleasent...the food is better than most restaurants weve used..bogof cocktails 5 pm till 6 pm are always a nice end to a beautiful beach day where you get a free towel and the most comfortable sunbeds that are bigger than most.. ive just read the bad review from delia and husband paul and im shocked at there bad review as weve been in the restaurant when theyve eaten and the guys and even the manager as he always does checks is the food to the liking. Both delia and paul say yes its why we eat often here...but there was a problem from the couple when they asked to reserve 2 beds on the front row and 2 back row.. which wasnt available and they didnt have anything all day but 2 lime sodas.. we heard they threatened the owner that they would put a bad review ...good for him not jumping to there requests....so they moved next door shack but got barred from there...its discusting that 2 people could ruin a lovely place and the owners business for there outrageous demands when they soend less than 3 pound a day and want 4 sunbeds for 2 of them when theres only about 18 beds for people who love everything about the place...shame on you delia and paul
