The Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial honors the heroic efforts of Indian freedom fighters and aims to educate younger generations about their sacrifices. The memorial is open six days a week from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., with extended hours on weekends until 8:00 P.M., but is closed every Thursday.
At a distance of 5 km from Mandvi, Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial is a memorial located near Mandvi in the district of Kutch, Gujarat. Situated on the outskirts of Mandvi Town, it is one of the best places to visit in Mandvi.
Also known as Kranti Teerth, the memorial was built in 2010 by Gujarat Government in honor of an eponymous freedom fighter Shri Shyamji Krishna Varma. Born in 1857 in Mandvi town of Gujarat, he was an Indian revolutionary fighter, lawyer and journalist who founded a revolutionary center in 'India House' at London and propagated the cause of India's independence through his writings in his publication journal called the 'Indian Sociologist'. The main objective of this memorial is to pay tribute to the contribution of Shyamji Krishna Varma and also to educate the young generation about those great Indians who sacrificed everything for the country's freedom.
Spread over 52 acres, the memorial complex houses a replica of India House building at Highgate along with statues of Shyamji Krishna Varma and his wife. Urns containing Krishna Verma's ashes, those of his wife, and a gallery dedicated to earlier activists of Indian independence movement is housed within the memorial. The giant statue of Mahatma on his spinning wheel is an impressive sight. The entire complex is extremely well-maintained and offers calm and quiet environment to the visitor. There is also a small bookshop selling some literature about Shyamji and a food court serving snacks.

Nice place. Very peaceful. In summer you prefer to visit at noon. At that place it’s not much hot. There is one beach which is nearly 500m away. Beach is very beautiful and calm. If you don’t like very crowds you must visit that beach.
This is Historical place.. Visiting for knowledge gain for students and all who is didn't know about shyamji Krishna varmaji.
This is a memorial to the couple who set up India House in London and supported and groomed many of India's freedom fighters in the early 1900's. It is operated and maintained by the Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd, and they are doing a wonderful job. A must visit for anyone traveling to Kachch.
The Memorial’s objective is to pay tribute to the contribution of Shyamji Krishna Varma and also to educate the young generation about those great Indians who sacrificed everything for the country’s freedom.
The memorial is open to all visitors 6 days a week from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and on Sat/Sun 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. The memorial will be closed on all Thursdays.
Place is quite simple & small within hour u visit comple building.
They show u 1 video clip then on 1st floor there r some pictures hanging on the wall there is a guide that tells u everything then on the ground floor there is ashes ov mr. & Mrs. Verma. That's it.
This memorial is truly marvellous. It truly depicts and gives equal importance to all freedom fighters.

Very well designed and maintained memorial. Replica of India House and pictures and history of freedom fighters including the role of Shyamji Krishna Varma is a treat and an eye opener. It would appear history is being written. Wonder how and why such heroes were never talked or taught in schools
Many people visiting Gujrat from other states may not know about this freedom fighter. He has done a great by supporting other fighter at London.

Memorial of Shri Shyamji Krishna Verma who gave his hose in London "India Hose" during first struggle for Indian Independence. It's a replica of the same. Good place to visit, must visit, still developing so much information on Indian Independence struggle.
Must bisit place for every indian to know the contribution of every freedom fighter. This memorial is well maintained, neat and clean. Ample parking space available. Cafeteria is good. Library containts good books. Entry is free. Photography can be done for free. Vande Mataram.

Towards the development and restoration of Mandvi in its social and cultural terms, the Bhatia community has contributed a lot. Topansar Lake is one such (out of the many) valuable contribution by them. The Topansar Lake lies in the middle of the port city of Mandvi and is quite popular among the local folks and tourists alike. The early morning scenic view of the lake is breathtaking and extraordinary. You can sit on the benches around the lake for hours enjoying the view, and if you are lucky, you might also spot migratory birds. You will enjoy the serenity and the silence of the lake and any tiring soul will find peace here.

This lake is located right in the heart of Mandvi city (just outside the gate) Lake is filled with rainwater during monsoon season. It has benches around the lake to sit and enjoy the view and the breeze. It's a very beautiful and peaceful place in Mandvi.

Nice place for enjoyment, where people can feed food(gathiya or other items) to bird's. And they comes to eat it in group.

A really good place to spend time with friends and even yourself. Especially a very good atmosphere at evening time which can relax yourself from the busy and fast going life. Also has many street food options around given you want to have some snacks.

But mazar rooms and passages need more cleanliness. Mazar mamagement also needs improvement in service as they charges more rents as compared to other mazaars.

One of the dirtiest and ill maintained beach I've visited. Plastic packets, bottles and other things are strewn everywhere. local authorities should take a drive to clean up this beach . sunset and horse and camel cart ride was very good.

It is a nice place where you can sit down to hairy of Ocean roar or take a run around the beach. I would definitely come back again when it is warm to swim.
It's too good beach. And very beautiful beach. There are lots of rides like bike rides, banana rides , speed boat ,family boat , sofa ride , and whenever I went there it have paragliding also available . You can chill here with lots of famouse food of kutch. You have to definitely try "kadak" & "roti"(dabeli) and in cold food you have to try ice gola/ ice dish. And for kids there were lots of rides for kids too. And a sand bike , camel ride , horse ride also available. This beach is always full of people very busy beach.
Very dirty beach, it could be kept cleaner. Because of litter, aggressive cows roam the beach. They attack anybody with food. Other than that, it’s a typical beach with camel rides, horse rides, and bike rides. Wouldn’t visit the beach, only if it is on the way to/from somewhere or if just want to visit a typical beach. It is a family beach.
One of the most clean beach with clean water , it has wind mills on the beach which is amazing , there are number of activities like banana rides boating , camel ride , horse ride , quad bike etc , the food on the beach is also good , people here in kutch are very friendly and helpful so dont hesitate to ask for help or directions
The beach is pristine and very clean. We enjoyed our walking on the beach at sunset. It was peaceful and very relaxing to sit on the chairs listing to the gentle sea waves, watching the sun disappears into horizon and breathing in the cool and refreshing air. Tourist activities in Mandvi are limited

One of the most beautiful and surprisingly clean and blue water beach in Bhuj, Gujarat. At first, I wasn’t convinced about coming to this place. When I saw the videos and photos of this place it was too good to believe. But when I came here, I saw how beautiful this place was. There is a light tower standing tall as you are coming closer to the beach and looks marvellous.
The large boat structures look straight from the arc of Noah and look grand as you approach the beach. The start of the beach has lot of windmills which look picturesque and on the left there are lot of water sport activities and crowd out there, so the beach might look not so great at start. But once you go ahead to the deeper end of the beach, you will find it more clean, white sand, blue water and just a place for a perfect beach peace.
Best time to visit during the evening to chill out and during winter you can visit anytime as it is cool and breezy throughout the day. Overall, nice beach to visit in Gujarat!
This place was phenomenal. The view is very eye pleasing. The lighthouse, windmills, camels, seagulls flying around and ofcourse blue ocean. If you want to go there for pre wedding shoot it's a perfect place but I suggest you to go during sunrise so you'll have scenic beauty and almost negligible crowd.
Mandvi beach is one of the best beaches in India. It is amazing to visit this place, especially during golden hours. During peak season there are so many tourists visiting Mandvi beach, sometimes its too crowded. And some crowd loves to throw their waste on the beach, which makes it very dirty, most of the times. Overall you will love spending time here. There are many rides to do and if you want you can just relax or walk on the beach. Whenever you visit Mandvi beach, please do not litter the beach and keep it clean. There are various rides to be done at Mandvi beach, like camel ride, ATV ride, horse ride, etc. There are a lot of windmills on the beach.

Very much overcrowded and one of the dirtiest beaches I came across in India. The road leading up to the beach is a traffic nightmare with 1000 of busses not following any lanes.

This beach is between mandivi beach & Mundra beach.... It is very beautiful and historical beach... Friends visiting here can have fun on the beach... can enjoy swimming in the sea. Good for family picnic and day outing... We were brought here from Kutch camp... we had a lot of fun... took photos... joked... Also played games... took group photos... You can also visit here.... it's a good place....
• Amazing beach, most crowded on Sundays at the time of sunset and you'd find it very hard to park your 4 wheeler.
• Did horse riding, bike riding, motor boat riding, which costed ₹200 for 2, ₹150 for 2, ₹500 for 5 persons respectively. Inflated boating costed ₹350 for 5 for 10 minutes (It's not that enjoyable)
• Enjoyed Maggi and Chai with family which costed ₹50, ₹10 respectively. Coldrink is also available at an extra cost of ₹10.
This is a great option for a picnic; it's very neat and clean. Many people who have shifted from other cities have a good opportunity to enjoy their weekends.
It's also a very safe and secure place to travel in the night.
