The Charles M. Schulz Museum pays homage to Charlie Brown and his iconic characters, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang, through its wide range of exhibits about the art of cartooning. The museum also has a gift shop and regular exhibitions that explore different aspects of Schulz's career.
There's fun for all here. I arrived around noon on a weekday and the museum was populated mainly by adults. There are changing exhibits as well as permanent ones (like the recreation of Schulz' office/studio). Right now one of the exhibits shows who the people were that inspired the various Peanuts characters. Very enjoyable. There's also a large room with kid sized tables and supplies for drawing. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My family visited today and absolutely loved it! Our youngest is 15 and we enjoyed the whole thing. The displays were very fun and also very educational. Absolutely loved the way the comic strips were incorporated into everything, including the bathroom walls!! And there is nothing more fun then putting four adults in a room and seeing who is capable of folding a red dog house and drawing the classic Peanuts characters!! What a great place for people of all ages!

Great museum to explore especially if you travel with kids. We had to change our road trip plans because of the weather and luckily weren’t too far from Peanuts or if you prefer Snoopy’s birth place. You’ll probably spend between 1-2 hours here strolling around the exhibition, watching cartoons, gifts shopping and even ice skating ⛸️. Yes, you got it right, there is an ice rink across the street where Mr. Schulz the creator of Peanuts liked to play hockey. Parking is free, also there is a small food court at the rink in case if you get hungry.
Olga Kozlova — Google review
This is a cool museum with great employees. If you are a student don't forget to bring your student ID. There was no wait and all the route was filled with interesting facts and beautiful comic strips. This is a great place for kids, there is one room where you can color and learn how to make some origami figures. There is also one room where you can see movies! I saw Charlie brown in love with the little red hair girl. It was beautiful and really funny. There is one gift shop and just across the street there is one ice skating rink and one coffee shop.

Interesting and informative visit to this museum of the Peanuts cartoonist which ran from 1950-2000. Great displays of his work, and a replica of his work space. Docents were friendly and knowledgeable.

No trip to Santa Rosa is a complete without a trip to the wonderful Charles Schulz Museum, which does a terrific job of showing that Schulz was not just one of the best cartoonist of his generation but also was an incredible observer of human behavior and a believer in our best nature. The comics on the wall are so relatable because they depict scenes and situations that we all have experienced at some point in our life (waiting for a school bus, a class trip, playing with a dog, etc.). You cannot help but leave the museum with a smile on your face and a deeper understanding of the beauty and wit of Schulz's work.
John Maull — Google review
Such a well put together museum, it’s not very big, but just big enough to definitely spend at least 45 minutes or more in. Depending on how much you’re really taking in everything. Theres a few cute picture spots to try out. Plus tons of little comic strips. They also have a really cute art studio upstairs that you can spend so much time in. All supplies is included, you can sit down and color a picture there’s a cool light table to trace characters on. Plus an origami instruction activity. I definitely could have stayed a few hours. It was such a cute time, adults are $12 per person which is also also super reasonably priced. There’s also the ice-skating ring next-door and across from it is a bigger gift shop. The museum gift shop is a little small. So I definitely recommend checking out the big gift shop next to the skating ring.

Did a side trip to this place from Rohnert Park on a girls trip since a couple of them are big Peanuts fans. Very cute museum to see which includes a little video discussing Charles Schulz. There are lots of original comic strips he drew and a creative room upstairs where you can color, draw, or do origami. The kite-eating tree is on the patio and lots of figurines of Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and of course Snoopy.
Sampada Patel — Google review
We loved this museum. If you’re into Peanuts and the history of how it all began, you’ll love this place. So much great information here. The gift school could be bigger! We did enjoy the gift shop across the way though near the ice rink. This really isn’t a place for little kids.

After a day of drinking wine, we needed a break so headed here to the museum and boy were we excited! My husband and I felt like kids again looking at many of the comics and pictures. What's best, is the movie theater where you can watch some of the Charlie Brown toons! There are so many opportunities to take pictures and walk the grounds.

As you walk into the first floor, a huge work of art greets you. Even though it is a small museum, the place is great for people of all ages! It has a lot of art. One can find art all over the place from the first floor to the second floor, walls, patio, parking lot, and bathrooms. The staff was friendly. Also go with enough time to enjoy the place so you can see every detail.
Belica Dawkins — Google review
This is a nice little museum celebrating Charles Schultz and his Peanuts Gang. It takes around an hour to walk through and enjoy all the comics and history. The gift store is small but you can head over to the gallery (3 minute walk away) for a bigger selection including reprints of the comics. It is worth the $12 entry fee.
Moses Kodur — Google review
This was a small museum with some interesting info but not as much as I would have liked. Appreciated the comic tiles in the bathroom and the large ceramic pieces outdoors. Was hoping to learn more about each Peanuts character. Also hoped for a bigger and better gift shop. Parking is plentiful and adult tickets cost $12. Not a mask in sight but there was space to spread out as well as an outdoor area. Was in and out in 30 minutes.

Loved it! Stop here and pay homage to all the wonder of Charles Schulz and his Peanuts legacy. We learned so much about this remarkable man, artist, and community builder. The Warm Puppy Cafe, ice rink, and museum are a great way to spend 2-3 hours or a whole day depending on your interests. We had hard to impress teens with us who had real smiles and a spark of enthusiasm here. That is a true 5 star experience! So much to take in from the history of cartoons, to the life story of "Sparky", and the Peanuts as cultural icons and truth speakers. Lots of engaging tour guides and volunteers around eager to share antidotes. Seeing the actual studio of this artist was a real thrill. Lot of cool interactive surprises here like the kite-eating tree and great photo spots with Peanuts characters and cartoon moments. Really worth a stop for people of ages, even if you are not a Peanuts fan, you will be by the end of this visit.

A small but really fun and interesting museum detailing the history of peanuts and its creator Charles M. Schultz. The exhibits featured lots of his original drafts and panels and is a really fun insight into the origins and creation of the comics. The exhibits rotate every 6 months, so there is always something new to see. There are activities such as a movie room for watching peanuts movies and a room to learn how to draw peanuts characters. A lot of photo opportunities both inside and outside the museum. There is an ice skating rink across the road and a gift shop that also has some really fun peanuts pieces from the past. Staff are some of the best I've seen at any attraction and will go the extra mile to make sure all your questions are answered. I was surprised at how much fun I had here and will be coming here again in the future!

The most absolutely adorable museum paying homage to Charles M Schultz. It's a small museum packed with a lot of information. It's reasonably priced. There are items in this gift shop that they don't carry in the other Peanuts Gift Shop located by the skating rink. They also have an auditorium that showcases some of the cartoons depending on what's playing that month. It's a great experience if you decide to come out this way and plenty of parking. It was also nice to be here on a weekend, but with not a lot of crowds.
momo — Google review
A lovely diversion on a beautiful California day. We were pleasantly surprised at how much this reasonably small museum has to offer. We had a great time and would recommend anyone who has a passing interest in Schultz’s work to drop by for a visit.
Michael Mangione — Google review
Very very worthwhile experience even for adults 😆 every single photo booth was so cute. I was very impressed with the tiny exhibits inside the lightened walls, such a creative and delicate way of delivering art. There was a cute cafe too -- you have to collect a Snoopy cup!

Love this place! Such a hidden gem. so many people didn't know it was so close to Sonoma and Napa. A great place for kids or grown up kids who grew up with snoopy. Takes about 3 hrs to see the museum. next time will go skating there. there's a large gift shop on the campus that's in addition to the small one in the museum.

Annadel State Park is located east of Santa Rosa, California and features a huge range of activities on offer such as hiking and biking trails, fishing, horseback riding and camping.
I love that we have so many hiking trails in Sonoma County to explore. There are a variety of trails to hike. A variety of landscaping is offered from for trees, a lake, ferns & creeks.
Lisa — Google review
Beautiful trail, amazing views, loved the trees. The only thing didn't like was the last mile, it was on the road. Besides that was such a great walk
Raymundo Cortes — Google review
NO DOGS ALLOWED. Please be respectful of this for health of wildlife and ecosystem. Lovely hike through oak woodlands and a variety of wildflowers. So nice to see the tadpoles in the small pond. Various levels of difficulty of hiking, but definitely lots of uphill. Lots of exposure in the sun but some cover in the oak. Woodlands. No parking fee at Cobblestone trail.

The best! Annadel offers a diverse mix of technical single-track, flowy trails and gravel-friendly fire roads. It's great whether you're looking for a quick exercise session or an all-day excursion. And it's proximity to Spring Lake and Howarth Park expands the experience with swimming fishing and camping! Bike, hike, equestrian friendly park on the edge of Santa Rosa.

This was my second time there first of all lets talk about poison Ivy that are all over. make sure you carry Calamine, suntan lotions, repellent outdoor spray and some allergy pills like in case of allergy reaction. i loved the park. breath taking view, birds singing. busiest day of the week are Thursdays. planty of parking. watch for bike riders for not getting hit. I don't recommend the park for kids. If you are able to stay away from your cell phone. you will enjoy a day up there. make sure you do your shopping at Safeway that is close by and also you are not too far away from spring lake that is perfect if you like to swim. I recommend the park if you like to stay in shape or need to relax.! Go there!

Great place to walk and hike. Many times you see wildlife such as deer, turkeys, etc. Can be kind of busy with bikes but everyone is considerate and polite.

Great mountain biking trails. Rode up Richardson trail at end of channel dr. to Lake Ilsanjo, then left after the dam to spring creek trail. Easy ride down, rocky, but not steep at all.

Well maintained ... really nice park. Expansive trail network. Feels like your a long way from Rosa. Good place to get away

Great trails for hiking, biking or horseback riding. No dogs though. A mix of single track & fire gravel roads. Can be rocky. Mixed terrain w/ beautiful views, a lake, flowers, birds & creeks. Beware of the poisen oak! Simply, nature at it's best👍

Excellent hiking and mountain biking trails, a little muddy& flooded currently in spots. If you don’t mind wet feet or rock hopping to get over the creek, it’s great out there!

Trione-Annadel State Park is one of Santa Rosa’s main hiking attractions. Neighboring with Spring Lake Regional park, this 5,092 acre, 14 trail filled park can’t get boring quick! My group and I parked at Channel Drive. You can take a walk down the paved road that is also a part of Annadel and the only trail that allows dogs. They still have to be on a leash and please pick up after yourself! While we did end up walking the paved road trail on the way back to the parking lot, we started up the mountain of Cobble Stone Trailhead. Since it has been a rainy winter the trail is muddy so wear shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We ended up hiking all the way to Lake Ilsanjo via Canyon and Spring Creek Trail. Although a long hike, the beautiful lake view felt so peaceful and refreshing. You can even fish there if you have the right licensing! I loved how the beginning of the hike you are in a canopy of trees. Then you come to really open space. I didn’t like the dry grass just because it makes the nature look lifeless. Also, even though it isn’t convenient they don’t have trash cans around the park so make sure to save yours until you find the nearest trash can! Also, on this Cobble Stone Trailhead there were no restrooms, but on some of the other trails they have restroom buildings and portable restrooms. I definitely advise you to wear sunscreen and bring lots of water especially during the warmer season because when you’re in more of the open space on the trail the sun can really shine down on you. Unfortunately I wouldn’t say this is wheelchair accessible. I haven’t hiked all of the trails, but I hear that if you take the ones that horses go on it is doable since it’s more space. Also, there isn’t any playground for the kiddos. It’s more of a park for hiking, biking, and horse back riding. There are trials that go as short as 3 miles and as long as 13 miles. To the beautiful people of Sonoma County and visitors abroad, if you’re a nature lover and explorer I wouldn’t miss out on Annadel State Park. With its hidden picnic benches, little creeks deep in the trees, and wildflowers all around I wouldn’t miss out on this nature spot!

This historic garden and home of Luther Burbank is open to the public for guided tours. The gardens feature an intricate cactus garden, as well as Burbank's historic greenhouse. The home also features a Carriage House Museum with more information and relics on display about the pioneering horticulturalist.
I live a short drive away from the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens. When I am in a reflective mood, I like to stop by and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful garden. His well maintained home and greenhouse on the grounds give us an opportunity to glimpse the past in all its splendor. I stopped by yesterday, the last day of 2021. The garden is quiet this time of year. The vibrant blooms of flowers will be more prevalent in the coming months, but it is still an awe inspiring experience. The man that could make a flower left future generations a Historic Landmark for all of us to enjoy.

I lived in Santa Rosa in the 1990s. I had forgotten what a purely magical.place the Luther Burbank Home & Garden was and is. The place is tranquil and the blossoms were beautiful. It is a sacred environment to be grounded and feel at peace.

Sad looking historic place with lots of potential. Gardens were pretty but not well cared for. Property is open to anyone so there were several homeless wandering through.

So lovely. A little garden in the city centre. Very informative about the plants, house and the man himself. Entrance to the garden is free of charge. The House is closed on Mondays.

Great place to spend an hour! We wandered the grounds and read about Luther's life and dedication to his botany. We were here in early April so the roses have not bloomed yet. There's an option to take a tour, although we didn't go on it. We parked close by in the neighborhood, although this is close to the mall so you could park there if you can't find street parking.

I enjoyed seeing a number of volunteer workers caring for the grounds. My third trip here and the grounds are all I have seen. Beautiful variety of flowering and non-flowering plants.

Although when we went there it was already after 4pm and the houses were closed, we had a very peaceful and nice walk. It is a peace of history. Luther Burbank worked with new types of plants, some eatable and others just flowers, but beautiful. There is no specific parking lot and no restrooms. Worth a visit though!

Pacific Coast Air Museum is a historic air museum located northeast of downtown Santa Rosa, CA. The museum has an impressive collection of vintage aircraft, many of which are open to visitors for exploration and climbing. Among the highlights of the museum are an F-16 Fighting Falcon, a UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) helicopter, A-4 Skyhawk, and F-105 Thunderchief. The museum also houses a range of aviation reference materials and displays.
Wonderful knowledgeable And friendly staff. They have an abundance of different aircraft.

With the recent release of the Top Gun sequel, I had the opportunity to visit the Pacific Coast Air Museum. I was not disappointed. A great place for the whole family, they have a more than ample display of historic military, propeller, and jet aircraft. Since 1989, they have been preserving aviation history.
Alan Hennessy — Google review
Nice place for the price. A couple aircraft I would not have expected to ever see in person. Worth the price and the time if you can get there!
Doug Barton — Google review
This air museum has a large field of retired airplanes, and on open cockpit days, you can look into several and get into some of them. It's a fun activity for kids that would last an hour or two, depending on your child's interest. As a heads-up, the volunteers can be hit or miss. Some are lovely and enjoy sharing their knowledge. Some are condescending gatekeepers that discourage questions and active engagement. Essentials: It's $10/adult, and kids under 5 are free. They have port-o-potties. They sell snacks (e.g. chips, ice cream, soda), but it's cash only. They have a small gift shop. There are two space with indoor exhibits, but they're limited.
J. O. — Google review
Brought the kids and they enjoyed being so close to the aircraft, as one of them said, "that you only see inthe movies".
Kevin Celedon — Google review
It’s a decent aviation museum with not too many airplane displays. Besides, there's no intro or plane info, so you don’t know what you’re looking at unless you know your planes. The place is not organized since there was also a car show when I was there. The place could be a bit crowded that even taking pictures alone with the planes could be difficult. Planes are well-maintained, though. A friendly place for adults and kids.
John Ma — Google review
This is a fun place to visit for AvGeeks. Volunteer veterans are on-site to share their knowledge. The gift shop and museum have unique artifacts like first class seats from a B-727. Outside, visitors can see an F-14, F-15 and other rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft.

Dierks' Parkside Cafe is a quaint american-style breakfast and lunch spot that offers amazing food standards as well as vegetarian options. The café is constantly full of people craving fried cinnamon-sugar pull-apart bread, smoked salmon egg tart, chicken-fried steak, and potato hash. There are also plenty of Benedicts and hash browns on the menu to choose from!
I really like this place. My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast this morning. I love there omelets and hash browns. One of the things I love is there raspberry jam it’s delicious.

I would share photos but we inhaled everything in front of us because it was so extraordinarily good. Don’t skip the Dierk’s cinnamon pull parts and make sure you top them with the raspberry jam. Absolutely incredible. Everyone at the table got something different and everything was incredible. But the Chicken Benedict was different than anything else we have had and it was glorious. Thank you for the amazing food and the extraordinary service!

This place used to be pretty crowded inside; the new outdoor area is wonderfully spacious. My husband had the corned beef hash, and I had the biscuit and gravy. Every bite was tasty and well-seasoned. The hash browns were crispy and fresh-tasting. Great service too! A good place for a low-key, flavorful, filling meal.

An absolutely fantastic experience. The food is incredible. We ordered the corned beef hash and the duck confit. As big as the portion sizes are (massive!), the flavor is even larger. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. I couldn't have seen the bottom of my coffee cup if I had tried. The atmosphere reminded me of the breakfast joints I would go to with my grandma. It was really nice to see all the customers that came in and were on a first names basis with everyone working.

Ermahgerd I am pretty sure we’ve found our breakfast/brunch spot in Santa Rosa! The Peet’s coffee was strong and tasty without being overbearing. We split the Gramma’s dough to start - it was simple, soft and chewy and just plain delicious. My wife got the Huevos Rancheros and wasn’t enthused, though it was an ample portion. The tortilla shells were drastically over cooked in spots, making it hard to eat. The flavor was good but not as great as my meal! I got the Country Benedict and fell head over heels in love! The hash browns were tender and tasty, and the over-medium eggs were done exactly right! The drippy perfection was just too much for me! 🤣 The bacon, mushrooms, spinach and sourdough bread underneath were absolutely perfect partners for the fantastic hollandaise sauce. I ate every single morsel of my meal … already dreaming of going back!
Take Back Roads — Google review
Pretty decent breakfast. I got the Parkside omelette with ham, bacon, and cheddar, and got some coffee as well. The omelette was pretty good, not amazing but tastes good. The toast was kinda plain without much butter, and the hash browns were a bit mushy. The coffee was also kinda dark, that's more of a subjective opinion but still. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, it was very relaxing. I would recommend it, but not amazing.

Indoor & outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is covered. Very efficient staff. Quick service. I got the Salmon & hash with hollandaise. The sauce was nice & light - not that heavy greasy goo some places serve. The salmon patty appears handmade, not pre-fab. They Aldo have gluten-free toast at no extra charge! A very delicious breakfast for the two of us.

Dierk's Parkside Cafe is a neighborhood treasure! The food is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and inventive flavors. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make every visit memorable. Whether for brunch or lunch, it's always a delightful experience. Highly recommended!

Love walking here, love the people working here too! The food isn't half bad, however if you're not a big fan of meats i would just avoid the ham, sausage, and bacon... I tried em all and well... Not a big fan. The eggs are tasty and so is the French toast!

One of the best omelettes I have had in a long time. A nice place place for breakfast. They are busy sometimes but after you have been there you will know why .

Brewpub
The Russian River Brewing Company is a local brewery with a homey feel. They offer specialty pizza, pub grub, and California-style ales. The pub is well-known for their live music performances on weekend nights and supports local music bands.
World class beer venue. A bit of Mecca I’d say. Russian River brew some incredible beers, including benchmarks for certain styles. They have a large range of beer styles on offer. They also do great pizza. Their prices offer impressively good value. Nice venue. Can get quite busy at times so plan accordingly. I really hope to get back here some day because the place really is something special.

Everyone already knows the beer is great so this review is for the pizza, which was excellent. We got the Excel with spinach, mozzarella, sweet onions, crumbled Italian sausage. They cut the large pie into 12 slices so each slice is half the size of a normal slice, making it easier to eat and share. Such a great idea. And delicious!

although our server was an angles fan, and dodger friendly, worried me that he would leave before we got our beers, younger just lovely great taste best yet I say that every year, but it's true pub grub is great got a bbq.chicken mushroom pizza and was the best. I use this place as the bar. it's just hard to find a place with business model just great place

I haven't been back here in a couple years and yet everything tastes so amazing. From the beers to the food I'm always impressed. Of course it's packed for a reason. But the place is so homely and I've never had a bad time. Service is very quick and they will always accommodate. Thank you so much 🖤 Update 12/31/21: Went back again and even when sitting at the tables there was always a few servers there to accomodate you so i was still able to get drinks and food super quick. Be sure to tip them well its always busy and they deserve it!

Great food! The pizza bites were fantastic! Service was good. Wasn’t as loud as I expected, which was a pleasant surprise for a brewery.

best brewery in the county and probably the state and country. certainly still making that award winning Pliny, voted the best beer in the world many times. bar staff is top notch beer educated, pizza and sandwiches are phenomenal and the place is always full of both curious and well versed beer enthusiasts every day. go here and enjoy a beer or ten, some great food and meet a new friend. try the sampler. don't be afraid.

A must-visit every time in Santa Rosa. Even though it is crowded and touristy, we always have a great time here. Not only is the good really tasty, but the staff is great. They are also great at managing the workflow. Plus, their beers - especially the Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger (worth the visit) are great. If you need lighter or sour beers, they have those options too. An option for anyone. Thanks to Rachael for taking extra care of us on our last visit. We will be back soon!

It was a good day today at the planet of the younger release. I had to wait two hours and 15 minutes to get in, I got there at 12:20 pm on a Wednesday. Once I got seated at the bar, the server was on top of me and I had a beer in my hand within a minute I’ve sitting down. I tried the meatball sandwich, which was fantastic and chatted with other people around me. Great atmosphere great service great food and great beer!

Food was good. Service was excellent but the beers were disappointing. This place was a long time bucket list destination for me but the tasting the beers on the California ales flight ($15) were not worthy especially the lighter ones. Even Pliny the Elder was flat amongst several others. Wish I could've tasted the Younger but not available.
Coy Tran — Google review
The famous Russian River Brewery, tons of draft beers for you to choose from, a must to come spot if you are beer lover. Pliny the elder is a must to order, crispy, fresh IPA. The food is mostly finger food, chicken wings, chips and dip, then pizza. All pretty good.

Super nice staff and a decent pit stop to grab a bite and a beer. The food hit the spot but it wasn’t exceptional, though in truth, I think you really come to this place for their brews. Dog friendly patio which was perfect for us.

Although a new brewery has been built in nearby Windsor, we still prefer coming to the original brewpub in downtown Santa Rosa. The pizzas are delicious and the sandwiches as well. It has a great atmosphere and feel to it from the minute you walk in and I believe they still have live entertainment on some nights. There is a small area where you can purchase some of their famous beer and swag as well. Always on my list when we go to Santa Rosa.

Poplar and busy for a Monday morning (1130am). Metered street parking in the front. 🍕Got a half half medium pizza: mama Mia and Megan’s (vegan - no cheese or vegan cheese option). Was a decent pizza. Fresh and hot. But ingredients aren’t anything amazing for these two. 🛎️ Got a lot of beers to go for friends. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Great service. Definitely recommend!

Went up for my 40th birthday last weekend. I already knew the beer was amazing but having not been here in almost 20 years, I didn’t know what the service and atmosphere would be like. The service was on par with the beer. AMAZING!!! The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and super attentive. So much so that we returned 3 days in a row while there for the weekend. The food was also fantastic. The pizza was up there with some of the best I’ve had. Cannot wait to get back up there!

My husband and I went in for beer and ended up having a delicious lunch of the hummus platter and the best pizza we've had in a long time! The crust and sauce tasted homemade, fresh toppings and melty cheese - you can't go wrong! The service was so fast. If you don't want a big beer you can get a taster for $1.50-2 each, perfect if you just want a little to accompany your meal :) we can't wait to go back!

Great beers and great service! Was here for the 20th anniversary Pliny the Younger release. Waited about 3.5 hours but it was still worth it! Great service and better beers!

Love the place. It's very cozy and has a lot of great beer selections. For me, it's like paying a homage to the best IPA that's out there. Definitely did not disappoint. The food and service are great too. They have tables out front that is covered and blocked from the wind, so it's nice and we are able to bring our dog to enjoy some delicious beer and food!

Not only one of the greatest breweries in a generation, but wow … the food is amazing too. They really have done this right across the board. Service is fast and friendly, knowledgeable recommendations and understand the product and menu well. Biggest flight I have ever seen, love the fact that you get to literally try everything.

Came for a group lunch and was empressed with the ambiance and space. Plenty of seating. Was greeted d by amicable staff, quick service. Ordered the chicken BBQ salad, was simple and good. Good vibe in the downtown.

Never been here before, but I'd go back. Prices are reasonable. Caesar salad was yummy, pizza was thin, but tasty and had substance. My friends said the BLT was really good...it's not on the menu, but was a special for Monday. My friend and I both had the veggie sandwich add chicken. The chicken was really dry and overall the sandwich lacked flavor. I only ate half and then ordered a pizza slice instead. They have pizza slices to order that are not listed on the menu. Our server Jeff was amazing. So friendly and very personable.

The bistro has a nice atmosphere, service was top, food came quick and it was top notch. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and main dishes to share and there wasn't a single thing I tried that I didn't love. Highly recommend the red curry, spicy summer chicken, pot stickers, papaya salad, well, everything!

We got the Drunken Noodles and the pumpkin curry and both were outstanding. The drunken noodles were super delicious. Everything in the dish from the vegetables to the meat and noodles was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The curry was also super good with a wonderful sauce. Definitely recommend for some good Thai food near wine country!

Wow, pretty amazing place with a stunning decor of scoops of fishes and jellyfish of all kinds serving as lights, the food was excellent with the curry, pad Thai and rice being very tasty. There was a lot of food and the flavors were spot on. We loved this place. Service was great and the only issue was that it was a bit dark and we used our phones to read the menu.

This place is definitely worth its rating! The service was awesome! The food was served pretty fast! The food was super yummy!!! At first, I kinda doubted its high rating (at 4.6). Fine dining restaurant
Ca'Bianca is a charming Italian restaurant set in a 19th-century house with full bar, patios and gardens. The grand old mansion houses excellent Italian cuisine, showcasing various regions.
Incredible food! Come hungry because you will be full when you leave! Sampled the appetizers they were all good. Loved the stuffed mushrooms. Enjoyed the Salmon with zucchini, with a triangle of scalloped potatoes. Out party tried out 5 entrees and loved all of them! Save room for dessert. Impeccable service.

Love everything about this place. I had lunch on the porch in front of the beautiful garden. Started with the mozzarella app and the Ca Bianca salad. The tomatoes with the mozz app were lacking a bit of flavor, but what do you expect this early in the season? Not yet into summer, so no biggie. The house salad was perfectly dressed, and the candied pecans were amazing. Great textures in the salad. Next, we shared the potato gnocchi. Fresh fresh fresh! And the gorgonzola sauce was so good, it was a great choice for a pasta share. I had the salmon and arugula. Again, dressed perfectly, and again, too early in the season to enjoy the cantaloupe but I knew what I was ordering, so I wasn't surprised. It was a fresh and light combination. My husband had the burger. OMG! It was so simple, and that's what made it so great. Ciabatta bun with butter, razor thin sliced zucchini, small slice of cheese and perfectly seasoned Angus beef (house ground). It was THE best burger I have put in my mouth in a long time. I keep thinking about it, and when I go back to Ca Bianca for lunch, it's a must order. Oh! The house made bread was really good. I will be back many times.

This was by far one of my favorite dining experiences! It's located in a beautiful Victorian home with gorgeous gardens you can actually dine in. The food was fantastic, very authentic. The wine list was extensive, and our waitor knew how to pair the wine with our food. The scent of jasmine was glorious on the porch and only enhanced our experience. I highly recommend the Pollo dish, which is stuffed with prosciutto and baked in puff pastry. I'd give it 10 stars, it was that good!!
Melody Broten — Google review
So much to dislike here. My girlfriend and I went here to have a late Valentine's Day dinner. The menu seemed fairly priced and the food sounded delicious, so we went to try it out. Our server was very friendly and the staff did a mostly great job, until the food got to us. I asked for the Surf and Turf. A plate over $50... and got a dry lobster tail and a super small steak! When I told the server about how dry the lobster was and about how the steak was too small for what it would cost to buy, they just said they would tell the chef and gave me a full priced bill. They even forgot to bring one of our drinks out until after we said we would like our check. We had asked for the drink earlier and did not receive it then either. If you want Italian food, there are MANY better restaurants around the area than Ca'Bianca. They are such a let down.

The food, atmosphere, and service, everything was great! We are recommended to get the chicken for main, was really really good. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. The texture is fun, too. I totally agree with that is always on the menu (almost since they opened).

Everything at Ca’Bianca was wonderful. It’s very rare to find an amazing restaurant that has great food, service, and atmosphere. Elias was also the best server we’ve ever had dining. I can’t say enough about this restaurant.

An evening to remember, a destination that won't be forgotten. What an intriguing sense of history was felt while dining at this restaurant. This property dates back to the late 1800's, and carries with it, a connection to a simpler time in the past. Quite beautiful and comforting especially in the evening hours.

Regal home turned into a restaurant. Romantic, charming atmosphere inside and out. Beautiful rooms, garden grounds, or patio seating depend on your mood or time of day. Service highly attentive, helpful, welcoming. Food choices are all tasty, though the fresh butternut sqash ravioli is a favorite, and hard to replicate at home. Parking lot is adjacent to restaurant. The garden shrouds the facade and entrance. Look for the small sign in front of the house.

This is a hidden gem and would highly recommend a visit. It’s tucked into a neighborhood in an older house and the atmosphere is so charming. The food was even better and we had the most attentive staff. Don’t miss out on this experience!
Morgan Hunsaker — Google review
Beautiful Victorian house turned into a restaurant many years ago. There is a feeling of times gone by and one is reminded of grander times. We held our Christmas celebration there and while the servers did the best they could, it wasn’t super smooth. There were three large parties happening simultaneously. There seemed to be a disconnect between the kitchen, the bar, and the wait staff. The biggest disappointment for me was that I was very clear about being allergic to mushrooms, and my 2nd course came the same as everyone else. Polenta, covered in mushrooms, covered in marinara sauce. It was difficult to see the mushrooms because they were covered. Luckily the person sitting next to me had the waiter take it away before I took a bite. They immediately took the dish away and brought me one without mushrooms. Again, there seemed to be a disconnect because I watched the waiter write everything down as far as food and drink but then that is not what was delivered to us. I will definitely try this restaurant again after the Holiday season.

The John Ash & Co. restaurant is a high-end wine country dining experience with breathtaking vineyard views and rustic, old world decor. The food is approachable and though the regular menu is best saved for special occasions, the Front Room Bar offers some of the best happy hour deals in Sonoma County!
Highly recommended, amazing well done dishes, the steaks was tender and perfect inside out, the service was friendly and quick. Delicious deserts, over all its a 10/10.

Fine dining - nope! Fine atmosphere and pricey - yes Food was below par - calamari was soggy, prolly left under the heat lamp. Fine yellow tail - looked like a joke, tasted stale and stringy. Salad - disappointing, drenched in dressing. The food quality was mediocre at best, and that's me being generous. The owners and chef need to look up the phrase 'complex flavors'. Save yourself the money unless you can expense it.

Beautiful restaurant was beautiful view, the waitress here was very friendly. She had a beautiful smile that can light up your day. Food wise, They are just up to your expectations. But I feel like my expectation towards food are getting higher and higher lately, so don’t quote me on that. It’s totally worth a trip to just enjoy your dinner under the beautiful sun.

We had a great experience at the Front Room Bar but the night after we had a poor experience. When we made the reservation, we indicated that we were celebrating a birthday and we got no acknowledgment for that. We both had the tasting menu with pairings. The food was very bland and the carrot soup was flat, the ceviche did not taste fresh. The saving grace was the filet and brussel sprouts which were OK. Come on chefs, you were off your game. I thought Michelin star meant attention to detail. This was a pricey meal and a special occasion and we had better service at the breakfast diner in St. Helena.

John Ash & Co left a lot to be desired, particularly considering their claim to be a fine dining establishment. I had made a reservation for our anniversary through OpenTable, but when we arrived, we were surprised to find that the main dining room was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Unfortunately, this critical detail was not mentioned on the OpenTable website or app. Instead, we were seated in what seemed to be the hotel bar. Despite this initial setback, we decided to give it a chance, hoping to experience the excellent dining we had heard about. However, we were disappointed to find that the menu was disappointingly short, limiting our options. Our server was friendly, but when we explained the situation and the importance of our anniversary, we received only a brief apology with an explanation that it could be confusing. We ordered two entrees, an appetizer, and a couple of drinks, but things went further downhill from there. The calamari we ordered was greasy and lacked flavor. The pasta my partner ordered was also bland, and the chicken dish I ordered was served completely raw. It wasn't just slightly undercooked; it was raw. We sent the dish back and asked for it to be removed from the bill. The apology we received was both brief and dismissive. To top off the disappointing evening, the waitress brought over two small truffle chocolates as a gesture to make amends. We had hoped that John Ash & Co would have made more of an effort to rectify the situation while we were on site, but unfortunately, they failed to do so. All in all, I can't recommend John Ash & Co as a fine dining destination. It fell short of our expectations, and it's probably best to save your money and try another restaurant in the area for a more memorable dining experience.

Very good first dinner here. The mushroom ravioli smaller portion was rich, savory and delicious. I enjoyed the Beluga lentil patties with spinach. Partner had the oysters. We shared the Caesar salad which they split for us, and he had the sea bass. All very good but the fish was slightly overcooked. Very competent waiter and beautiful ambience. Can't wait to come back next trip into town!

We celebrated a milestone birthday, the grounds and restaurant are very nice. The hostess and servers were friendly and accommodating. Something is going on in the kitchen. We waited and waited for our entrees. When the food finally came…..it was tasty but hardly warm. For an expensive menu, and final grand charge, it was disappointing. Again, there is a problem in the kitchen.

NEW OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The head chef left after 15 years of working at John Ash, Because the new owners wanted to make everything from frozen meats and canned foods/sauces! And since he didn't want to put his name on that kind of poor quality he left, so did his sue chef and head Pastry chef. This place has Plummeted into a nice Scenery with Denny's quality food. This is so sad, me and my family been going here for the last 10 years+ always was amazing. But now it's horrible. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else. I will be.
Michael Austin — Google review
The atmosphere is terrific— like a mid century, New York steakhouse. And the staff and servers are very attentive and professional if not exactly friendly. But the food is mediocre at best, and in some cases in edible. My sister and I were there for the $55 prefix meal. I ordered the beef and asked for it medium rare—came medium. It was tender but much too salty. The shaved fennel salad was mostly lettuce. My sister ordered the scallops and found them sitting on some thing gummy and inedible. The suggested $26 paired wine was an inferior Chardonnay. She also ordered the pork chops which were small, thin and dry. But what was most annoying about this restaurant was that even though we were there for the prefix dinner, almost everything we ordered had an additional fee—$20 more for the beef, $15 more for the scallops, a basket of mini cornbread muffins an additional $8. Nothing leaves quite as bad a taste in your mouth as expecting to be paying $100 for an exceptional dinner when in fact you end up paying more than twice that for a mediocre meal.

Raw and baked oysters were perfect. Ceviche was not my favorite, but the steak tartare got better with each bite. Cocktails were beautiful and well balanced. Scallops with crispy pork belly were arguably the best we've ever had. Chocolate dessert with blackberries paired exceptionally with the 20 year ports we had to finish our meal. Ambiance and service were impeccable. Great spot for a romantic date. Dinner next to open air windows overlooking the garden and vineyards is as good as it gets.

We were seated in the smaller dining area, which had a warm yet elegant atmosphere. It was also quiet, which is important for my husband, who is hard of hearing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, with a pleasant sense of humor. The food, from the warm, buttery Parker House rolls, through the entrees and dessert were delicious and beautifully presented. It was a wonderful experience and we look forward to going back. Also, the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and setting.

I love the ambience and service here. Food is very good but not my-head-is-spinning-cant-wait-to-go-back. Calamari starter good, but accompanying dipping sauce spicy! My friend had shrimp, again very spicy. I just think sometimes chefs try too hard, rather than making the ingredients stand for themselves. Bar is super cool, and bartender Matt B. Made me a great gin martinis.
