Sushi restaurant
Over the weekend, I decided to visit Garlic Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar in downtown Newnan. This establishment is well-known for its diverse menu that includes traditional Thai dishes and sushi. With an inviting ambiance of exposed brick walls and cheerful yellow decor, the restaurant provides a relaxed setting for guests. Notably, their selection of sushi rolls stands out, featuring popular options such as the California Roll, Crunchy Roll, and Double Decker Roll.
Garlic Thai being one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Newnan known for its good food, good vibe and great location, we decided to visit the place for dinner. It was quite busy but we were promptly seated and service was quick and awesome. We inquired about whether the food was halal and were assured by our server that everything they serve in the restaurant was halal. This was a pleasant surprise, since they do not mention this anywhere on their website or the menu! The food here is everything people say it is and more! We loved everything we ordered and every ingredient was fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend everyone to check this restaurant out and would definitely visit again if I am in the area again.

Definitely recommend this place! All the dishes that I have tried were full of flavors! If you like something spicy, try the drunken noodle. It is amazing! Thai fried rice was good as well. Really enjoyed the full aroma of herbs that were in the dishes!

This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Came here for brunch with a friend. I got the sushi roll which was around $13 (not including tax). It was delicious. My friend got the curry and she said she loved it. She paid around $18. The gentleman that was our waiter was friendly and very attentive. Thank you for the yummy food and great service!

Weird over charge to your card. Management not cooperative or well versed on why their establishment over charges on orders paid with a card. Eventually charge was corrected. Out side of that the food was very good!! Coconut soup was marvelous!! So many wonderful flavors. Mixed feelings.

In town for work and since there were two well rated Thai places nearby, we decided that would be supper. Garlic Thai was awesome! The food was delicious and service was perfect. I ordered my two favorite things to get at my all time favorite Thai restaurant and Garlic Thai's version of these classics were spot-on. I had coconut soup (asked that they make it spicy) and a chicken noodle bowl...I think they just call it "noodle bowl" and it just says "grilled meat" on the menu. I was impressed with the flavors and so satisfied with a meal so similar to what I crave from my favorite Thai place. My partner got some sort of dumplings and a sushi roll (I'll have to look back at the menu to remember which). He really enjoyed his selections as well and when we left was like "we can definitely go there again!" The portions with what I got were quite large and I had multiple meals worth of leftovers to take back to the hotel. I'll be smuggling them back home with me. Too tasty to waste!

I love Garlic Thai. We had an amazing experience. Fast food great quality and amazing service. The coconut soup was a little sweeter than I'm used to I prefer more of a savory/spicy profile. That being said it was still amazing. I ordered for my entree the thai fried rice medium spicy with chicken. If your not to keen on spicy I suggest no spice. I ordered medium and it was really spicy but still yummy. The portions were phenomenal. I had to take some home and it was still good the next day. The calamari was tasty and cooked well but I wasn't crazy on the onion ring style batter they fried it in. Overall definitely going back.

I didn't know any of the Thai dishes on the menu so I asked for some recommendations. Rudy, my server helped my indecisive mind make a choice. You will not regret whatever meal you have here! I'm grateful for Rudy who took care of my every need. Great atmosphere and I WILL come here again

After the many times coming into Garlics, I've finally got the time to leave a review. From the staff to food, all round its a great restaurant! From the appetizers to the dessert, we enjoyed all the food that wad brought out. We hope to continue to enjoy more from the menú.

not too busy when we went but the staff was all very nice and attentive. the menu has a variety of options and lunch specials which make it nice for a combination. the miso soup is wonderful.

Amazing food, sushi. You must try fried calamari. It’s awesome. Excellent service. They said they have halal certification as well. That’s also good. Tony’s service were exceptional.

Fun Thai and sushi spot with nice booths, tables, and charming decor. The food was excellent all around. I most enjoyed the Basil chicken fried rice! Great service, with food coming out fast but cooked well. We will continue coming back!

For starters the food was amazing, our server was attentive and explained us all the food, he give you recommendations and was pending what we need, the place is nice, my only issue was the bathroom which was close one of them not sure if they were cleaning or what. the Thai tea is a most really yummy, the dishes we got I don’t remember the name of the dishes hahaha, but all of them where great. I did put $20 to $30 including the drink.

Just a nice place to get some good Thai food. In the heart of downtown Newnan, no wait on a Friday night, but we were lucky to get the last empty table. There is a bar with draft beer, bottle beer and sake and wine. The service was great and the food was nice. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Their Thai hot is pretty hot! Tons of vegetables in the dishes which we like. Thanks!
Cee Dupree — Google review
Great dumplings. We had steamed dumplings for an appetizer. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken. My wife ordered Sesame Chicken. For dessert, my wife ordered Mango Sticky Rice. Food was well prepared. It came out in a timely manner. Everything tasted great! Very delicious flavoring. I would highly recommend this location!
Greg Gowens — Google review
Great place to grab a bite to eat. The location was awesome. The good was great. The service was a little disorganized. We were seated, but no one told our waiter. When our waiter found out, she tried to apologize and make things right. Hopefully, this doesn't happen often. The Hawaiian Roll was amazing. I loved the fresh mango addition. The softshell crab was very tasty. I wish I had been given an option for the spice level of the curry, though. The shrimp and scallops were very good and came with a nice flavorful sauce. This place lived up to trip advisors' list of an amazing place to eat. If you haven't checked it out, I highly suggest you do.

Server was amazing and kind! Food came out surprisingly fast and was tasty. 10/10 - he gave free to go drinks before leaving.

Had a great experience here. I had the country fried steak and ordered a burger togo. Very delicious and fresh. All of the waitresses were nice and the atmosphere was extremely comforting. They even made a spot for me to charge my laptop! Next time I am in the area I will be sure to visit again!

We discovered T&C as we were in the process of moving into town and since then have become hard core regulars, usually 2-3 visits a week. It offers an atmosphere and feel that you don’t find in restaurants anymore, everything on the menu is good, the specials are always great, and the service is a level up from anywhere else. To be honest we always say we would be lost without them. My only tip would be if you show up for breakfast on weekends you may have to wait a bit, but they do an amazing job of getting people seated as efficiently as possible. Best place in Newnan by far👌🏼

These guys are great, I work 3rd shift and need something heavier then breakfast food when I get out, but I still like eggs cause I'm classy like that. Bam! Catfish and eggs, every time. They're amazing. Always friendly and it's a familiar diner setting. Can't beat it.

Food was great. Hot and the variety to choose from is amazing. French toast is excellent. Haley was so nice and attentive. If you love small town meals this is the place for you. Little chilling, had to wear jacket even entering customers said it was cold inside. Other than that no complaints.
J Hudgins — Google review
Great small town restaurant. I had the Southern Burger, and it was amazing. My kids lived the food as well. The waiter was polite, and we had amazing service. The price was great. I got a burger and tots cheaper than fast food joints. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Good place for breakfast and lunch! The biscuits and gravy are really good. Try the Patty Melt with pimento cheese and tater tots. It was delicious! The servers are very nice!

We are regulars and our Lindsey is top shelf! Breakfast is our thing and this establishment has the best! Sweet potato with over medium eggs and raisin toast! Soooo good! Love you guys! ♥️ Thanks for always knowing out names!! 😊♥️💥
Terri Johnson — Google review
My only complaints is that they no longer offer breakfast options all day. I can't remember what time they stop serving breakfast but for the record, French toast is delicious!! If you miss breakfast, may I suggest the Ruben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very enjoyable!! Lots of pies choices for desert too!

Amazing. We go out on road trips a lot and always make a point to eat local, and chose this restraunt. The server was very friendly and polite and even gave my 5 yr old brother a free ice cream because he told him he was about to turn 6. The burger is a must if you come at lunch time!! Very juicy and the fries were also very good. Would recommend

What a great little restaurant. We went for breakfast, food was delicious and eggs were perfectly cooked. Our server was fast and super friendly.

OK this establishment may have diner atmosphere but the staff and food is phenomenal. The staff has been expertly picked by the owner who cares and manages her diner with great care. This is perhaps the best breakfast diner in the entire area south of the airport.
Michael Surapine — Google review
Food was fantastic and the staff was so nice. Atmosphere ok on a weekday morning but loud church service taking place in the middle of the room and some gross old men sat next to our booth and was making gross comments about the waitresses backside. That isn't the restaurants fault and have been back for takeout twice since that visit. All 3 times food and service was phenomenal!
April Mcdowell — Google review
Okay so I ordered breakfast, let's call it brunch. I ordered the sausage gravy biscuit & 3 pancakes with bacon. I requested bacon well done/crispy. I don't eat it otherwise. The pancakes tasted more like cornbread than pancake. The gravy was definitely from a mix & not a good one. The high light of the meal was the appetizer sampler with the homemade pimento cheese-that stuff is addictive!!! I doubt I'll be ordering breakfast again, I'll stick with their dinner menu cause it's always delicious & I'll definitely be getting the pimento cheese and crackers for an appetizer!!!

A buddy of mine just introduced me to this little place. It's an unassuming building, but the 8 oz. bacon cheeseburger that I ordered for lunch was one of the best I have had....ever. Its clean and tidy and they have tables and booths. The service is great, the food is great and the prices are good. I'll definitely be going back to Town & Country Restaurant.

This was my first time there. After a short wait, I was seated. This place looked like the local breakfast spot for the community. The food was great. The only concern I had was the low food score. I believe it was an 84. Although, the food was good and the place seemed relatively clean. Who knows....

If you're looking for a delicious southern home cooked breakfast....thus is the Place! My mom and I dropped in to this quaint local spot that's been open since 1999. Mom ordered the pancake breakfast which came with 3 giant pancakes, eggs, bacon, and home fries ( seasoned and pan fried diced potatoes) and I ordered the fried chicken tenders (4pc) and eggs which came with 4 fried tenders, eggs, a Biscuit, and home fries. I also ordered 2 Biscuits and Gravy to try. It was ALL sooo delicious. Some of the best Biscuits and Gravy I've ever had. The Biscuit alone was fluffy yet crispy and perfectly cooked in my opinion. The chicken tenders were outstanding. The home fries were a bit greasy, but to be expected. The eggs were scrambled to perfection 👌. The Best part is we got all that food for $32.50 before Tip! Incredible prices per portion. I honestly don't know whether to recommend this place or keep it my personal secret....but WOW 10/10 country breakfast experience in my book!

We go here every week for the past six or so months, and love the place. It has great food, excellent service, and great wait staff. Prices are decent, and there is an ample menu offering something for everyone. Every dining experience I've had was a pleasant one, they're consistent.

My husband, myself and my mom went after a Dr. Visit, they both had country steak, said it was really good and the was plenty on the plate, I had the Reuben it was very tasty bread was grilled just perfect. Waitress was very sweet prices are reasonable for what you get.

Meat N Greet is an American eatery in Newnan, Georgia that shouldn't be missed. It offers a trendy atmosphere with brick walls and recycled timber, along with a variety of craft burgers, beer, and smoked meats. Their menu features delicious options such as the Buffalo Smoke Craft Burger made with gouda cheese, bacon, mild buffalo sauce, and lettuce.
Great service, exceptional staff, convenient location, fair prices, exciting environment, creative menu, awesome beer selection and great food to boot. We had the Sloppy Mess as an appetizer and Mad Dog 2020 burger with onion rings to share. This was the first time visiting but I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back again.

The burgers are the best juicy even well done was juicy the staff was very kind nice we were seated very quickly bathrooms were clean no social distancing but food and customer service was excellent the ambiance is very Southern like.

We got the B3 2.0 black bean burger and the Firecracker burger with pimento cheese. Both had some jalapeños for a nice amount of kick. Both were great so if you are looking for a little healthier option, don’t be afraid to go for the black bean burger. The side of brussel sprouts was really good, recommend that as your side too. Great seasonings and flavor. Our server was quite busy as we came in right at the lunch rush, but she was timely, amazing, and polite handling both the bar and some tables. Overall a great lunch.

In town for a wedding and someone downtown recommended this as the best burger in the area. They were absolutely right! Great burger and fries! Would definitely come back if I were back here in town

Went there for lunch with my colleagues and I have to say, their burgers are great. I love that their buns are not so soaked in fat and butter but nicely toasted. The meat was also perfectly cooked and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I would go there again, good food, fast and nice service and good vibes.

We heard great things about the food here so we decided to drive down and check it out!! So worth the 45 minute drive!! I got the One Eyed Willie burger and wow!!!! So worth trying out a new burger for me! I have wanted to try an egg on my burger and this was just the place to do so! I got the tomato jam on the side and also got some Chimi mayo on the side. Both were good!!! I used the chimi mayo on my burger and as a dipping sauce for my French Onion Tanglers. You have got to try the onion tanglers! Best I've ever had!! Hubby got Double Double with the sauce on the side. The sauce was good for his too! It was like a thousand island without the chunks. Had Cam as our server. He was great!!! He went over the menu with is since this was our first time and made recommendations and our glasses were never empty!! Great attitude, friendly and all around just amazing person! Will definitely be going back!!! There's several more menu items I have got to try!! There are a lot of nice shops to visit around too!

Hostess greeted us with a 😁. The waitress (Sara) was informed, friendly, and on time with refills. The best part was the food. The burger was good and high quality. My wife had a textbook burger, and I had the high west, both very good, but the best part was the bacon jam. I could eat it by itself. I wanted to dance around the restaurant it was so good, and it tasted like heaven in a cup. If you are passing through make it a point to try the place.

Such a wonderful establishment! From the food they serve to the amazing crew that brings it to your table. Management is also top notch! Has quickly become a go to for us, as it is for many others! Get there early because it fills up quick! Check out there weekly special menus also!

Yum!!! We were in the area and decided to give Meat N Greet a try. So glad we did, too! The menu is varied enough to give everyone an option, but not so much that it makes you feel like you’re reading a book. The drink menu has where each beer/bourbon/etc is made, which I thought was really cool! Overall, service was impeccable and the food was too. Definitely will drive the 45 minutes ~ an hour to eat this regularly!

The staff was awesome, food was good...only reason i have them 4 stars was...one bathroom. They only have one bathroom...total. other than that, great time to be had. I tried the Georgia Mule snd the Curveball burger and both were very good. I also had a dirty gin martini and they made that very tastey too. Definite recommend.

It was my first time visiting Meat N Greet and I loved it! Our server was Kale and he was fabulous. The food was excellent. My only complaint was the music was a little loud for me to hear all the conversations at our table of 7. I'm sure it probably wouldn't be a problem if there were only 4 of us around a smaller table. I would visit again if I'm back in town.

Meat N Great has become my go-to spot for dinner, having visited more than five times. The consistency in their food is remarkable, always delivering excellence. The service is top-notch, with servers well-versed in menu items. On my recent visit, a server recommended a special burger with jam, jalapeños, cream cheese, and more – it was absolutely amazing! Meat N Great unquestionably boasts the best burgers I've ever had. Every choice is a guaranteed delight.

Wow !!! This place is awesome from the Host-Server-Cook. Some body can Cook! Recommend the Bama Fries w/ pork. Impossible Burger aka Mission was fat n juicy as well as the Double burger. The chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside nicely browned but moist in-the inside. Coleslaw has a cilantro taste, not sweet and not tangy. Chimi Mayo & Fried Onion is a must for your burger. JEFF was our server and he is dipping heavily in the awesome sauce because he was patient and most helpful. I’m coming back to see you Jeff !!

Awesome experience! I had the Diablo Burger (pictured) which has jalapeños, ghost pepper cheese, siracha, and more. Super good. They also have a really tasty ranch dressing that everyone used to dip their fries in. Finished with banana pudding that was 10/10. If we visit Newman again, we will be sure to drop back in for a great meal. Highly recommend!

Small and quaint ambiance was spot on but the food fell flat for us unfortunately... The rolls and maple butter were good, the salmon and gunpowder sauce was fantastic but the excess toppings of goat cheese and prosciutto felt like too much was going on. The ribeye was not the greatest cut of meat and the flavor was lacking. We will probably give it another try in the future cause the location is great!

My husband and I went for his birthday, excited to try a new place!. We did not have a reservation (on a Wednesday night). We were seated right away, and Olivia took excellent care of us. The food was SO delicious and exceeded our expectations. Portions are generous, and the atmosphere was very friendly (except for the grandma who kept sending her food back behind us 🙄). We are already looking forward to coming back!

Small solace but good atmosphere and even better food. Make reservations due to the size of the location they may not be able to handle walk ins. They do have tapas and we tried the flatbread and it was bomb. Would recommend asking about the bread pudding as well.

First of all, outstanding service! You will not be waiting long for anything at this restaurant! My wife and I were trying to get a reservation for a while and it was worth the wait; it did not disappoint. The Salmon and the Beef Stroganoff were amazing. The wine selection was very good as well but the highlight of the night was the Bread Pudding. I cannot recommend better option to end such a fabulous dinner!

The food was good but the menu was different than what I was expecting. The service seemed a little slow and the atmosphere was noisy. Some people may enjoy it so just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean you wouldn't like it. Also not much parking around. Maybe I was not aware of other spaces.

This place is a gem! The wife and I enjoyed it. If you order a drink, be prepared for it to be strong. I had the smoked Old Fashioned and it didn’t lack the main ingredient. The food was spot on. I ordered the Pork and sweet corn. Every component of that dish was paired perfectly. My wife ordered the Smokey bleu salad and the scallops and watermelon. She loved it! As an appetizer we had the fried avocado. The sauce with the cheese really made it good. Their chef is a genius. The service was absolutely great. We will definitely be going back and I will also be recommending it. It’s also really fairly priced.

The food was great. The chef really knows what makes each dish taste top notch. We enjoyed the new years eve special selections immensely. The restaurant is small and cozy. The service could be improved a bit as they failed to offer refills of water and the wait between courses was a bit too long. Overall it was still an excellent experience we'll go back especially if they start a Sunday brunch again.

Unassuming small restaurant. A little gem in rural Georgia. Great atmosphere. Exposed brick walls remind me of Europe. Was invited for a birthday party. Cocktail was very nice. Not overly sweet. Ordered the special Meatloaf with mash and beans. Great choice. Very tasty and large portion. Waitress Olivia was a very lovely animated person. Very attentive during the entire meal. I can highly recommend this place.

We ordered fried gouda cheese for appetizer, and the eggplant and pork dish for entree. Those were very tasty and plate presentation was also good. The dish was enough to be filled an empty stomach with flavor. I'd love to recommend this place to others. One thing I have to tell you, we got there before 7pm, not crowded, but you need to book if you want to go after then.

I took my wife here for first time since moving to Newnan almost a year ago. We were both initially shocked how small the restaurant is but it didn’t take long before we just relaxed and took it all in with a smoked old fashioned’s. From there it just kept getting better by having easy access to the staff along with amazing food. Wish they could keep the pork cutlets permanently on the menu. And wow- the Blueberry Pudding is insanely good. Can’t wait to go back.

Positano Pizza Napoletana is a pizzeria located in Newnan, GA, known for its traditional Neapolitan-style pizza. This restaurant has gained popularity for its assortment of salads, antipasti, espresso, gelato, and desserts. The ambiance at Positano Pizza Napoletana is sophisticated and elegant with an industrial and mid-century decor. If you enjoy European-style pizza accompanied by Italian music in the background, this place is perfect for you.
This is the best pizza I have had in a long time! The ingredients are all fresh even the self serve toppings like garlic and parmesan are freshly cut. I do wish they had different sizes, (when we went a large was the only option) but again the pizza was incredible and the service was amazing too!
Alannah Smith — Google review
I read reviews before i got here , a lots of comments about the price being too high, but as soon as i entered the restaurant Iseen a big menu with the prices right top of the order point. They also let you know that is a big size of a pizza. It’s for 2 person size ! So, everything was good and tasty. Only thing is that they add their own style in to the Neapolitan pizza. I mean it’s not the original Neapolitan style pizza but it’s very tasty pizza that worth to try. We also had a great Cabernet wine that they have in the menu. Overall, great place with great atmosphere. Recommend ✅

The pizza was cold, as the fire brick oven I can only assume it was overlooked In quick delivery. Manager offered absolutely no resolution, “It came out of a 1k degree oven” Allowed him to feel the pizza. No offer to satisfy unhappy customer. NOT RETURNING

Late when most places were closed, Thanksgiving Eve. In the area shopping and wanted something we could not get at home. We were so happy we stopped. No corners cut in this Napolitan pizza place. Absolutely phenomenal. All ratios were utter perfection. Were not disappointed by a single thing. So cool being able to peer into the pizza oven as we waited. Watched the pizza come out bubbling. They have fresh olive oil and garlic out for you to add. If in the area, must stop place. Probably tied for the best pizza we have ever had.

I order my specialized pizza, a gluten free Margherita pizza with extra Mozz, ricotta and fresh garlic. 👌 Best Gluten Free pizza I have ever eaten, anywhere! BOP! BOP! BOP! Love to see a BOP in the south side. Normally we have to go to Downtown Atlanta to get something like this, so we were so excited to see one around here. Pizza, GREAT! Ingredients taste very fresh and clean. Employees are nice and service was super speedy.

My belly was grumbling so I looked for the closet place to eat which was Positano. The atmosphere was lovely and they were playing some good oldies music. I ordered the Bianca pizza and whew! That pizza was good. If you want a nice laid back spot for a snack and hear some good music come on through. I loved the pizza! Grazie!

Stopped by today whilst out shopping with the wife today. She introduced me to Positano's. We went for a wood fired margarita pizza with mushrooms and sausage. Nice to know we have a good wood fired pizza place within driving distance of where we live. Now, I will say prices are mid-to-high for a pizza, but the ingredients are quality. For a full size expect to spend $20 to $30+ depending on the toppings. Not a bad slice in my humble opinion. 👍

Good pizza, it's worth stopping here for sure. I worked at Neapolitan inspired American pizzerias for several years and have high standards for this type of pizza. Some darker spotting on pizza bottom, crisp across bottom with soft top crust, and a folded slice should have only about 1.5 inches of the tip "droop" when held. Definitely crisper than traditional Neapolitan style, but that's the way most Neapolitan inspired places in the US do it. This place nailed it. I like a bit more char bubbles on the top crust, which you get by increasing oven air temp and doing a long, cold-ferment of your dough, but it's really hard to balance that with oven deck temp through a whole service. This place made sure the crust bottom was perfect, which is the most important part. Really well done. Their seating area is a casual family-style open seating vibe. Perfect for large groups or casual meet-ups with friends. Open service kitchen so you can watch the pizzaiolo working the ovens. Highly recommend

First time visiting. We were looking for something not a regular chain and this totally hit the mark. The Capricciosa pizza and Focaccia were amazing! All fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

🍴 I absolutely LOVE this beautiful, delicious, authentic Italian Pizza place in Ashley Park. I order my go to, a gluten free Margherita pizza with extra mozz, ricotta and fresh garlic. I also order a glass of the Italian Pinot Grigio to go with it. 👌 If perfection were in the form of a pizza and glass of wine, this would be it.😍 Best Gluten Free pizza I have ever eaten, anywhere! Then there are the deserts.....I meannnn. WOW. After eating the pizza you can't imagine the desert being just as good or even better, but it is! The Gelato is fabulous, the Canolis are just perfect and the other Italian deserts are rich, crisp and full of flavor. The restaurant is also really cute and cozy with an authentic Italian feel. The staff is fabulous, super friendly and helpful. Positanos is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in and around Newnan, Senoia and surrounding areas. If you're looking for authentic Italian Pizza, stop in for a date night with your hunny or bring the kids and have some authentic Gelato after dinner.♡

Visited for the first time a few weeks ago, my daughter's 3rd time so she insisted. It was amazing. I loved the atmosphere and the pizza. It could stand to have a little more seating but aside from that, we will definitely be back.

Bourgeoisie. Expensive. Quick. Couple of old (Italian?) dudes run the line. Neat to see the big ovens right there behind the counter. Two slices, and I was done with the experience. Probably to rich for my simple tastes. Could also be that I'm to used to garbage MSG laden fast food pizza. Worth a try if you're into this kind of thing. Just not for me.
