Nic & Norman's in Senoia is a laid-back, brick-lined restaurant co-owned by Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus, known for their involvement with The Walking Dead. The classic pub menu features a long wood bar serving draft beer and cocktails. The outpost offers Bloody Marys, mimosas, and Gate City beers while hosting rotating vendors such as The Bitters Reality and Brewers Fire.
Nic and Norman's was everything we hoped it would be. The meatloaf platter had N+N sauce on it that was fabulous, it was tasty and I could tell the beef was top quality. My wife had a burger and it did not disappoint. The beef used at Nic and Norman's is top quality and it tasted great. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very accommodating with us taking our time placing our order. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The only thing that we missed was did not get to Norman because he was injured on set that week. I will be making the trip again.

Delicious food, extremely friendly staff, beautiful restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the Philly cheese steak fries and NY strip, both were very good! Will visit again next time we are in Senoia, and will recommend to all.

We surprised our daughter by taking her here. The food was so good! My husband had the BBQ Burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had! The mac and cheese was phenomenal. We also had the pickle fries and they were really good too!! Such a laid back atmosphere. Everyone was so nice! We will definitely be back.

This was our first trip to Senoia and to Nic and Norman's. We love how open the patio seating is, with fans and heating accents for particular weather! The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, upscale, but comfortable. The waitstaff are very attentive and friendly, ready to answer any questions you may have! The menu is amazing, so many great options. You can't really go wrong with how many great choices they have! We sat on the patio and enjoyed some Stella Artois and a Lemon Drop Martini. Our food came out in a timely manner and was gorgeous. We tried the 1 1/2 lb. Coca Cola Braised Pork Shank with Mashed Potatoes and Cajun Creamed Corn, the Kid's Menu Chicken Tenders with Fries, and Beef Tender Medallions with Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and a Red Wine Reduction. The Pork Shank was incredibly tender with plenty of juice for pulling into your potatoes. The creamed corn was flavorful and not too spicy. The kid's Chicken Tenders were juicy, tender, and more like a fantastic chicken breast pounded down into tenders. The fries were crisp, yet meaty like potato wedges. The Beef Medallions were cooked perfectly with a luscious, slightly sweet wine reduction that paired perfectly with the grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion sizes were generous, yet we were perfectly full by the end of our meal! We didn't see any celebrities while we were there, but it was definitely more than worth the trip just for the food! We can't wait to go back and are already planning what to eat next!

It was a good experience, being in Senoia, visiting Norman's restaurant, the town. The location is great, crowded as I would expect, the overall vibe was good, vibrant. I arrived at 7 on a Thursday. The service was good, though my server may have been new, she was hesitant but helpful with a good sense of humor. I ordered the artichoke and spinach dip as an appetizer and the meatloaf as my meal. I tried to order the pork shank or the NY strip but both were sold out, as were several items. I was told this happened often. At 7pm on a Thursday? The dip was fair, a little bland except for the large amount of Parmesan on top. But it was warm and there was plenty of artichoke in it. Their meatloaf was good, sliced fresh from a loaf and seared to add a crisp layer to it. The mashed potatoes were warm, and creamy. The gravy tasted like canned gravy. The green beans were unpalatable; soft, oily, and flavorless. The price point is very fair, so it's justifiable as a good experience if you're visiting.

Chris was our waiter and he made taking care of us look effortless. The menu is mix & match so you can get a different meat or different topping on the sandwiches and vice versa if you don’t want it exactly how they have presented on the menu. We all had burgers & were both very happy with the quality of the food. We don’t live close by so I’m sure our visits won’t be as frequent as we would like.

Let me start by saying that I'm a HUGE TWD fan. My husband and I came to Senoia for my birthday, and Nic & Norman's was at the top of our list of places to go. They did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, it was a great experience. For dinner, our server was Grimm, and the next morning, we had Kaelyn. They were both phenomenal! Pricing is fair, and the food is top-notch! I highly suggest going for brunch as you can get the brunch menu and the normal menu options as well. The Crab and Avocado Toast is a MUST!

Stopped on a whim and didn't expect much from the name but everything we ordered was delicious. The house wine was good. Fried pickles were the best I've ever had and ranch dressing! I ordered the Mexican burger but with Turkey, greek salad. We all had different things and all four enjoyed our meals.

My kids and I travelled from south Arkansas to tour this sweet community and eat at Nic & Normans! What a great experience! Our server (Megan) was so delightful. She was friendly and answered all of our fangirl questions, she was quick and her service was excellent! Our food tasted delicious! We loved the dip trio platter- the hummus and artichoke dip were very tasty. Burgers were phenomenal! We had so much fun looking around and being the ultimate tourists. I wish I lived close so I could eat there all the time!

Great dining experience with friends at Nic & Norman's in downtown Senoia. Service was great for a party of six. I had the 1.5 lb pork shank and it was a winner. Super moist and tender! Highly recommended. My wife had the shrimp and grit cakes which was also fantastic. If you're ever in Senoia, GA. you should take the time to stop by. The surrounding downtown area is very cool to walk around after a big meal.

My friend Deana absolutely loves the walking dead and found this restaurant, which was created by the executive producer and the lead actor on the show. The establishment was absolutely beautiful and Joslyn, our server, was phenomenal! I had the Brisket Mac & Cheese and about died and went to heaven right there. Deana had the beef medallions and they were cooked to perfection. The Brussel sprouts with goat cheese and bacon, were a spiritual experience, and the fried pickle spears were the best ever. The appetizer came with ranch, but we also tried them with their house sauce and that was amazing as well. The house sauce is like a smoky honey mustard. It would be amazing paired with the brisket as well. Deana and I immediately tried to convince them to bottle and sell it in the store. Overall, I absolutely loved my first experience here!

Nick and Norman's is a must if you visit Senoia, GA!! The town itself is very quaint and friendly! The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the food was extraordinary!! We had the Pimento Bacon Burger on one trip and the Classic Burger on another. The ABSOLUTE BEST burger I've ever eaten!! The Philly Cheesesteak Fries were VERY tasty, too!! You won't be disappointed if you venture to this spot for lunch or supper!!

I'm going to talk about the food. The the Mac and cheese, the fried pickles, the onions rings, and the sweet potato fries were my favorite things from what we ordered. The brussel sprouts were good but over seasoned and the red potatoes were under seasoned. Not a fan of black bean burgers but it did the job for my vegetarian peoples. The flatbread was nothing special. The drinks tasted weird and we're not satisfying. Decor was really cool and I like the establishment and who isn't a fan of Norman Reedus so I will definitely go back and get some thing a little more on the menu. I think we got the one in a million meh experience. I don't know what it was about Sunday night but ordering took forever, there was a mix up with our food. They gave my vegetarian table beef burgers when we ordered black bean burgers but luckily I eat meat and was able to check before anyone else dug in. They did fix it and give us the right food shortly after, I think it was just a mix up in the kitchen. They overcharged us for black bean burgers but they fixed that kinda. I think our waitress was new or something because she did seem anxious with us and maybe it threw her off that we wanted vegetarian options. We didn't finish our drinks. They did mention that the bar was backed up so I'm putting it on the rush. A manager did come by to check in on us at the end of the dinner and to fix the overcharge on the receipt so it's not like they didn't try. Gave us a complimentary piece of cheesecake but no whipped or cherry so it felt so weird. I think we experienced a bit of Murphy's law and I want to go back and change this review because I've read and seen so much better there. Stay tuned for an update.

Got seated and then got forgotten about. We didn't complain, but the manager noticed took our drink orders, and gave us an appetizer on the house. Once the food was ordered it came out quickly. There were 4 of us, and we all got something different. I got the meatloaf, and it was delicious. The special sauce on it was so good. My son got the pesto chicken pizza and said it was the best pizza he'd ever eaten. The restaurant was really fun inside. The curtains were held back by arrow [Daryl's]. Pictures were hanging up on the walls from the show, etcetera...would go again. Wasn't too pricey, but I had 4 teenagers with me, so it ended up being around $80.
Katrina Murphy — Google review
The service was amazing, Mikayla was awesome. She made sure our food was fast, she was friendly and very respectful. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the pork shank had very little flavor, I have eaten this before, and it was lacking a bit of seasoning and sweetness from the cola reduction. The atmosphere was awesome! Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back!

Last night (5/25/24) we came in with a huge group to celebrate me being cancer free for 5 years. I had made a reservation for 13 but we ended up with 14 people. The place was packed. The staff was AMAZING! The manager came out and she helped rearrange things for our extra person and was so nice about everything. Our waitress was so busy but gave us exemplary service and was beyond patient with our huge group. Thank you so much for your kindness and wonderful service.

Second time coming here, and the still the best burger I’ve ever gotten has come from here. Come in around 1:30, decent crowd but was seated right away. Ordered: -Classic Burger with cheese: these are my favorite and cooked to med-rare perfection. The cheese was a little bit extra but made it even richer. The N&N house sauce is added to most burgers and I wish I could order bottles of it. Sidewinder fries are cooked to a crisp but still soft inside. -Soup of the day: Cheddar broccoli. The best cheddar broccoli soup I’ve had. It’s not overly cheesy and nice chunks of broccoli and some bit of carrot throughout. Pro- tip: dip your fries in the cheddar broccoli, thank me later. The service was wonderful as well. My server checked on me multiple times even though she was super busy running food for other tables and the other wait staff was super friendly and attentive. I wish they were closer or I’d be going there every week. Might venture out to their brunch menu some day, but the burger hits every time it’s be tough.

Hubby & I went here on the 21st to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We’re from FL but here with family for the holidays. We love the small town feel of Senoia, and this restaurant experience did not disappoint at all. Our waitress was so kind, our food came out so quick and fresh!

Cafe
Located in downtown Senoia, Senoia Coffee & Cafe is a popular eatery known for its American breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. This relaxed cafe offers a variety of coffee drinks, as well as beer and wine. It has become a favorite among both locals and visitors who appreciate the freshly made food and drink it serves. The atmosphere is unpretentious with an eclectic menu that caters to different tastes.
The Hot flight coffee is delicious! Biscuits are hot super fresh and fluffy, the fried chicken is perfectly fried, juicy inside and the batter is different, almost like homemade wheat bread! Sounds funny but was very good!

I don't drink coffee, but my husband enjoyed his and I got a little caffeine kick from a half and half iced tea. Just love the atmosphere of the old brick and I was totally enamored with the restroom. I don't usually take pics of public restrooms, but I thought it was beautiful with hardwood, painted brick, the refinished dresser and the mirror down to the glass tile backslash. It's my jam!

I brought my two sons here after I googled "best breakfast places in GA". This place had great reviews but I don't always go by that since obviously taste is a matter of personal opinion. I will say all three of us agree with what was posted. This place is such a neat Cafe and the food was absolutely amazing! The Smothered Chicken Biscuit was amazing and tasted like grandma had just whipped it up in the kitchen! It truly was as good as the picture looks!

My husband and I went out this morning to celebrate our anniversary today and wanted to try a local coffee shop for breakfast. We’re visiting with my parents for the holidays, so we were excited to discover this lovely shop in Senoia. The ladies working were very nice and the atmosphere inside made me very excited to try it out. I ordered iced matcha and hubby ordered iced peppermint latte. Both drinks were lovely, and our food was pretty good; my order was slightly wrong (forgot my waffle the first time) so we ordered a cinnamon roll instead and the wait was long but I was patient enough to wait since everyone was so kind. Overall we had a nice experience and if we ever relocate we will be happy to come back again.

Came for a quick coffee - the cold brew was delicious and the cherry cheese danish was so soft. They warmed it up -> It didn't last very long. Didn't stay but the environment was nice to sit and talk. Not too loud even with several people there.

I can't recommend Senoia Coffee and Café highly enough. My husband and I visited Senoia as part of our honeymoon. The staff at the café were phenomenal. So friendly and took time to sit with us to talk about the area and recommendations. The coffee and food was delicious (pastries, sandwiches, ice cream). One of the best toasted sandwiches I have ever eaten!

This is a great place to drink coffee and hang out! Iced chai tea is delicious. There are other dining options in the building as well along with outside seating. You order at a kiosk with an employee and they call your name when it is ready.

Went to have brunch as a group of four. Watched our food be made, then set aside for several minutes, getting cold while one of the three employees talked to a customer. Two of us had finished our food before the others received theirs. I love coming here, the staff is always friendly, and the food is made with love. But as a food service worker, I prioritize getting peoples’ food out to them still warm.

Nestled in Historic Downtown Senoia, Matt's Smalltown Pizza is a laid-back eatery with an industrial-chic vibe. The menu features classic pizzas, wings, pasta dishes, and a salad bar. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options to cater to different dietary preferences. Guests can savor the freshly made pizza dough that adds a delightful flavor to every bite.
I’ve picked up from here before and it’s always been good. This time we dined in. I called beforehand to see if there was a wait, which there wasn’t. We were able to pick our seat immediately, with extra tables to spare on a Friday night. The service was great. The Gouda mac n cheese bites were amazing. The thin crust bbq chicken pizza was amazing, I couldn’t stop talking about how good it was all night. Will definitely be dining in again soon and bring our out of town friends here when they visit.

Our family loves Matt’s Small Town Pizza. However, I’m disappointed to pay $48+ to come up short. Couldn’t get a Stromboli so got a calzone with two toppings, ham and mushrooms. Great news!! I got 4 slices of ham and the rest mushrooms and cheese. The remainder of the order was the sane. Work hard for my money and splurge once a week to be disappointed. Guess I’ll try Karvellas’s when it opens.
Lisa Eschman — Google review
This is by far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust is fluffy and soft, but slightly crunchy on the bottom. The flavor is outstanding. I asked for a side of pizza sauce and it’s so good, not acidic, lightly sweet, and full of delicious chunky tomatoes. So glad we tried this place

We love Matt's!! Definitely regulars for a few years now. We do take out about half the time, but prefer dine in...the mozzarella sticks are better hot! Servers are always attentive and friendly. Great pizza place!

I do to go orders from here at least once a week for lunch. The staff is super friendly! The Spaghetti marinara is amazing, I am addicted to it. I tried the meatballs for the first time today, I usually am picky when it comes to meatballs, but oh my, it was delicious! I've had the buffalo chicken pizza before and it was soo good. I had left overs for lunch the next day with a small personal pizza. Matt's Pizza, whatever you guys are doing, please do not stop!! You're restaurant is my treat myself spot in town and my guilty pleasure.

This actually was very good thin crust Pizza! Loved how it was well done and the flavor was great. Pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting much because I am used to NY pizza. But we will definitely be back.!

I eat there at least once a week. Sometimes twice. My friends always want to meet there too. The food is fresh, tasty, and reasonable. Staff is friendly and attentive. Try the fried mushrooms! Oh so good!

We have been going to Matt's for five years now. The pizza is fantastic. They don't skimp on toppings either. It's a smaller restaurant with a few tables outside as well. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the food arrives quickly. They also offer a discount for active military and veterans, which is always appreciated. If you are looking for pizza in and around Senoia, please check out Matt's.

Everybody was very nice and prices were reasonable. I got 7 mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were delicious. My only complaint is the marinara sauce that was served with it was dry. For lunch I got a piece of pepperoni pizza. It wasn’t great to be honest the pizza was very burnt and probably the thinnest piece of pizza I’ve ever had. It’s almost like they used a tortilla shell. Sry no photos. Didn’t think to take any till after it was gone
THEWACOKID — Google review
While their pizza is good, do not order wings with your carry out order because you will be waiting a while. Our last two carry out orders were for a pizza and 10 wings. Both times, our pizzas sat in their warmer for over 20 minutes while waiting for the wings to be ready. One time I had to leave without the wings because I had already waited 30 minutes past the time I was told it would be ready. The second time our pizza was ready and sat for 20 minutes in the warmer leading to the pizza being soggy and very chewy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich at 7:15 pm, on a Wednesday night. Went up there twice to get it, by 8:00, and was told “it’s not ready yet.” My friends at my same table who ordered at 7:40, a pizza, got their food at 8:15. At 8:28 they called to say your sandwich is ready. One hour and 13 minutes to make a Philly cheesesteak?? Really? And to fill orders ordered after mine, before you make mine? Terrible service. Staff didn’t care. Two or three people standing around every time I walked in. Thanks for terrible service, thanks for the list $14. Not trying these guys again. They just don’t care. What a waste of time and money.
Robert Pierce — Google review
If you need to grab a low-key bite to eat, this fits the bill. I had a small salad and a slice the side of a placemat, so it was plenty for me. It was thin crust which isn't my fave, but the edge crust made up for it, and the Italian sausage was pretty good. I was torn on getting a calzone, which my husband got and shared a bit. I will try that next time if we're in the neighborhood. Our server was super nice and chatted with us a bit.

Amazing pizza! Definitely our go to place for pizza! 5 Stars is enough should be 10! Serving staff is knowledgeable of the menu and always greets with a smile!

Ordered at 630 via phone. Was told 30 minutes to pick up. Was there around 7. Had to wait to be helped for about 10 minutes - which isn't a huge deal.. but just adds to my review. I ordered based on their prices seen on the website. The individual pizzas are about $4.20 more than the listed online prices. I live close by, but by the time I got home, the pizzas were ice cold. $40 for two medium thin crust pizzas that were cold. Just not worth it to me.

We have enjoyed several visits to Matt's and like that we can sit outside with our pup. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty with plenty to take home. When you are in the mood for good pizza, drop in and see the crew at Matt's.

Cheese garlic bread was just hogie rolls cut in half with melted cheese, no garlic at all. Pizza was 50 percent crust, was bad. Wings were good, we ran out because that was the only good thing.

We stumbled across this amazing restaurant doing a quick day trip to Senoia. Oh we were pleasantly surprised to find this to be such a charming experience. The staff here was very friendly and you could feel the southern hospitality. Our server was genuine and very knowledgeable of the menu. She made great recommendations without overdoing it. We had the Harvest Salad to start with and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had because of the mustard vinaigrette/ranch swirl dressing! For my entree I had the swordfish special and it was so delicious! My wife had the bowl and add a Cajun chicken and it was clean and healthy! We finished up with the blueberry pie and ice cream and words just can’t express how great it was! Senoia is so quaint and such a great place to visit! We were excited to come down here for a friends birthday party and we’re even more excited to make more frequent trips just to visit this place!

Stopped by for a drink and we were very impressed. The space is beautiful. We came during a rainy day driving through the area but the outdoor space looks like a perfect dinner spot! The staff was extremely pleasant and inviting. We sat at the bar and the bartender was welcoming and attentive. Our cocktails were amazing. The old fashion was one of the best I’ve had and the Coco Chanel cocktail was so refreshing and tasty. If ever in the area again, we will 100% be back. Wish we had places like this back home.

My compliments to the entire BH team. From the moment we walked in, to the minute we walked out, our experience was exceptional. Of particular note our waiter (David) was phenomenal. He was very well versed in all facets of the menu, from the curated bourbon collection to the dessert selections, knowledgeable of the kitchen preparations, and attentive but not intruding. With regards to the menu, my wife had the night's special, amberjack over crawfish potato salad, and I had the lamb risotto. Both dishes were exceptional. I could go on, but to sum it up, We will be back again soon!

Loved Bistro Hilary! I came here not shortly after opening. I asked for seating outside with my 3 children. The employees were so kind. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of this restaurant was elegant, while laid back. I was happy to be treated with such kindness with my 3 kids, as sometimes they are not used to restaurants. I got the Cajun chicken. It was cooked to perfection. My son got the burger with fries. You can tell the fries were fresh and homemade. My daughters got the spaghetti and everything was so beautiful. I can’t wait to come again for brunch.

We’ve eaten here many times since they opened including holidays like Mother’s Day. Have never had a bad experience, quite the opposite. Had take out regularly throughout the pandemic and the quality was still fantastic. Dijon eggs are a must. Plenty of great options but I keep going back to the filet with mushrooms. Always perfectly seasoned and cooked to temp. Going back for Christmas Eve and cannot wait!

Very nice lunch. Server Archie (not sure spelling) was super nice. Had a great old fashion to drink (could have been muddled). We shared deviled eggs to start and they are like sooo good. Had we known, I would have gotten 2 orders as my lunch. BLT salad was good but should have 2 pieces of pork belly. We also had the fish sandwich which was very good. Not huge portions which is fine. Fries are fantastic.

I have a long history with Bistro and have always had a great time with great food. We had my rehearsal dinner last night (11/9), and they truly outdid themselves! The food was incredible, service was very quick, and the back patio is the coolest place to hang out. I had the best time with the best food, and I couldn't say enough nice things about this place!

This place is DELICIOUS!! The photos don’t do it justice, every bite was a flavor bomb, the fried deviled eggs were scrumptious, our brunch entrees were all equally flavor filled but the TOMATO BISQUE was something that even days later makes my mouth water, and I don’t like tomato soups. We will definitely be back.

Been here several times and never walked out the door without being absolutely astonished by how everything was perfect. Food is fantastic and very well portioned, atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is top tier with service. The 50 minute drive is worth it every single time for us and I would highly suggest others to do the same. Out of town, out of state, out of country it doesn’t matter it’s worth it.
Brandon Haire — Google review
Great food and service! Our waiter was a bit quirky but he took his job very seriously. He is a floridian and he is very much a people person that is still learning the gig. I wish people would get off their high horses and listen to how ridiculous you sound when you complain about how someone responded to your drink order. The food was amazing! We ordered the eggs of course and wow. We did not expect to love them as much as we did. We also got a crispy shrimp plate and the crisp was perfect but the remoulade sauce made it outstanding. My husband got the filet...it was cooked to perfection. Very juicy and flavorful. I went with a special of Pecan-Crusted Halibut with Cucumber salad and wow. Again...perfection. We went in to celebrate our anniversary and will be moving out of state but when we come back to visit friends in the area, this will definitely be on our list of restaurants we NEED to eat at.

This place has a full bar!!! The owner is very hospitable, and the food is delicious! 😘 Make this a stop if you're out looking at stuff in senoia Georgia.

Our first time, we did takeout, BBQ pork sandwiches and FF, Brunswick stew. We will definitely be back for more!

Good stuff right here. We got some pulled pork and some brisket both were great the hot BBQ sauce is great. The sweet potato souffle was great. Karen was the best she made the visit worth it.

While I know they have good food, this is the ONLY reason that we continue to try to eat there. EVERY SINGLE TIME we go, they are closed for one reason or another. Not sure what their deal is, but this is a horrible way to run a business. We will NEVER try to eat there again!

The pulled pork, brisket, and wings were excellent. The pork ribs were very good as well except the end of the ribs where the bone doesn't stick out was very over cooked. The coleslaw was good but the fries were overcooked as well. It was our first time, overall the food was good. We will definitely be back.

Came in for an early dinner after an afternoon at the park. Have driven by several times but never stopped in to eat. My husband and I each got the brisket. Very tender. Very delicious! Our son went IN on the kids bbq sandwich. We live about 30 minutes away but will definitely make the trip to have some good bbq.

I've had food from here before and it's really good. But closing time is deceiving as it says closes at 11pm, I was told the kitchen closed at 8. So they're only serving alcohol after 8 I guess.

First time dining in at their new location. Great service & atmosphere! Some of our favorites are the brisket, wings, & baked beans. Looking forward to our next visit!

I just love a place where the owner stops by your table to check on your meal. McMaster's has a rustic atmosphere, combined with great food and an extensive beer selection. Service is quick and friendly, too.
