Sights & Landmarks
High-banked, quarter-mile race track hosts major auto races, amateur driving schools & daily tours.
The race was fantastic. The track employees were very nice and very helpful. Loved the Easter celebration. Will definitely keep coming back.
Matthew Thompson — Google review
Great place to visit even on the off-season. There was coffee and corvettes morning. Got to meet someone who works for the track. This person gave us an amazing morning by letting us drive on the track and signing our names on the wall. Great day!
Tawnya Kellar-Lewis — Google review
First time here was a great experience loved the The beginning with the music, troops, flying overhead and the fireworks. Very professional racetrack and drivers. Would return but not buying concessions was expecting at least the works on a hotdog for $7 was a plain wiener. Overall beautiful place!

We went to the Bristol Dirt Race on Easter. It was our first time. A friend got us tickets and we had a blast. It was awesome for the night race and meet some pretty awesome people while there.
Lotte — Google review
Excellent tour for a really cheap price! We got to go in the owners suite, drive down Thunder Valley and take a lap around the racetrack. Awesome experience!

100% recommend! It's such a fun family and kid oriented place! And you do not have to worry about walking they have people in golf carts riding around that will take you anywhere. Everyone is so extremely helpful and friendly! Absolutely love bristol ❤️

We have been going to the Bristol night Race for the last 15 years couldn't ask for a better place. Absolutely, love Bristol the track. The town Tennessee altogether is amazing.
wolfe man — Google review
Awesome track for a first-time race goer [me]. Great food, drinks, vendors, souvenirs, and staff. No bad seat in the house. Everything is relatively easy to get to. Bus service leaving leaves a lil to be desired in efficiency. I'm not sure there's a better solution at the moment, but it took 2 hrs just to get back to the vehicle, and a third hour to get on the road. Overall, great experience! Can't wait to return!!
James Puckett — Google review
We went to a race and honestly I didn’t know anything about racing. I did however learn some things and really enjoyed myself. You could see pretty clearly and I feel the seating was better than NFL seating if you enjoy it. The only thing that was bad was that I didn’t know that you would have a lot of uphill walking to do just to get to this speedway. Even leaving left you with a lot of walking uphill. This wouldn’t be an issue if you are in great physical shape or didn’t have small children, however I did have children and was mid pregnancy. I watched a older gentleman also struggle with his cane as well. The race itself was great though.
Chelsea Goode — Google review
Really nice track. Easy flow of parking and it’s easy to navigate around the premises. Concessions are pretty fantastic and I was amazed at how clean the bathrooms were. It’s a racetrack. A nice racetrack. Stop by for any event. Recommend it!!!!!!
Matt Anderson — Google review
One of the greatest tracks ever. Keep the dirt at a dirt track though. There are so many great dirt tracks they could go to! If you haven't been you need to even if you don't care for racing, just the experience and the atmosphere is worth it! Hope to see ya next year!!
Darrell Andes — Google review
Speedway in lights is fantastic! We went yearly when my son was little and now that I have a grandson we plan on making it a yearly tradition again. We all thoroughly enjoy the light show and the Christmas village. Santa was a big hit as well!
Mary Collins — Google review
The speedway of lights was great but there are a lot of lights that have sections missing or lights not working. Child had a blast and as always got apple cider from Santa’s village
Kimberly Pierce — Google review
Oh, yeah! It’s Bristol Baby! What a great time with a bunch of people that are all just enjoying a friendly & exciting atmosphere. I expected things to be much pricier; but compared to other sports & live entertainment events the options here were respectably priced. Oh yeah, and they still let you bring your own cooler with food and beverages too!
B.D. Olsen — Google review
I always love coming here for the September race. It is always a party and the people are so very friendly. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. I would recommend staying at the Earhart campgrounds, it's right next to the track and the facilities are well maintained
Shaun Bates — Google review
Nice place to stop on your way through Bristol. Gate was open so we walked around the track at our leisure and got to see where Nascar history has happened. A must if you're a fan or not, check it out!
Michael Catizone (Powerlifter300) — Google review
Nice friendly experience for a truck race. Sadly hardly any vendors open for food, no signs saying who’s open. The persons employed at gates had no clue about the layout of gates ect. We needed up in the wrong place a d walked way down only to find it blocked with a gate dividing the sections. It would have been better if all employees had to walk the entire place twice and they would know real quick which tickets need entrance to which gates.
Gaga Traywick — Google review
Came for the speedway in lights. It was pretty awesome. The lights were beautiful, and being on the track was pretty cool. The Christmas village was nice to have a bite to eat and do some local shopping. It was worth the money. I came on a Monday night it was perfect, barely any traffic.
madeline martinez — Google review
This track knows how to do an event well. You do not need a ticket for the race to enter their "Fan Zone" so you can enjoy all of the events outside the venue. Inside, there are plenty of concessions, so you do not have to wait in lines for an ungodly amount of time. I thought the prices were reasonable for food considering the situation. The seating was great. Because it is such a small track, you can see everything. Overall, I was impressed by the whole experience.
Mark Sandheinrich — Google review
All I can say is Wow! We had a blast at the Food City 500. The facility and its employees run like a well-oiled machine It was perfect!
Darlene Kemp — Google review
Went for the spring race and loved it! Highly recommend renting the Racing Electronics headsets online before you go. No bad seats in the house!

First time ever at Bristol Motor Speedway...!!! Grew up watching NASCAR.....but we're not here for that today. Got an amazing opportunity to run with the VCTS ( vores compact touring series ). Even though it's a bit chilly this weekend, hope to have a great time watching some racing and pray to God everything goes well!!!

Spacious museum dedicated to historic recordings of some of the earliest country music in America.
What a fantastic museum! The high quality interactive exhibits tell the story so well! My favorite parts of the museum: 1) the mini studio where you could rehearse the vocals from a Bristol Sessions song, then record it so you could hear your voice with the background music, 2) the timeline at the top of the stairs with 3 merged timelines of historical events, Bristol area events, and audio technology developments, and 3) the video with current artists playing Sessions songs and discussing in detail the music and techniques the musicians used to play the instruments.
Angie Hyche — Google review
This was our dedicated stop in Bristol. A well do e collection of memories and personal items. The museum centers on the 1927 selection of recordings, recording artists, and how they were produced. This is not a history through time of country music.
Runnsun — Google review
Well curated museum with lots of information on the artists who performed on the Bristol sessions. Nice collection of instruments too. (Including a couple of Jimmy Rodgers' guitars)
Weston Virginia — Google review
Absolutely beautiful!! So much knowledge and history in such a well put together place! From the smiles and knowledge from June at the front desk. To the cozy, comfortable relaxed feel as you walk through the museum. We had our 15 year old with us or we would of spent even long in there. Interactive things to do and so much to read. A must stop place!
Rachelle Szanto — Google review
We went to the Country Music museum in Bristol which is the birthplace of country music. They were very nice there and even though there were three of us they only charged us for one person since it was going to close in 40 minutes. As we stuck around the gift shop they didn’t rush us when we apologized for keeping them late a couple of minutes. If you’re a country music fan, I recommend checking it out. 9 out of 10 stars.
Scott Tyson - Realtor — Google review
This is a wonderful museum with multimedia presentations. Highly recommended for any music lover.
Duane Hinkle — Google review
If you love music, this museum is a must-see stop. The exhibits are wonderfully arranged in a beautiful and historic space. The story of how technology transformed people’s access to music and facilitated the broad sharing of musical culture was so interesting and well-told here. And the museum staff were awesome.
Hillarie Higgins — Google review
Loved it!! The staff is so friendly and kind. Beautiful and informative!! The interactive exhibits are awesome.
MaryKay — Google review
As the name indicates, this is a museum dedicated to the first country music recordings. Some nice artifacts along with a knowledgeable staff. Several informative videos and a lot of displays with information to read.
mrJoshua b — Google review
The farm and fun time show was amazing. The venue is a very intimate place to see musicians. Love the work they are doing and what their focused on and the way they are going about it being for the local musician and trying to bring true blue country music onto the radio airwaves and saving music by turning one Morgan wallen fan at a time. Keep up the good work highly recommend
Chris Tomlinson — Google review
Very well executed and entertaining museum. Lots of great info and interactive displays. The museum has a nice balance of readable content, photos, video, instruments, artifacts, and music. This is a gem that you don't want to miss if you're visiting Bristol. Highly recommended!
Jeff Forrester — Google review
This museum is affiliated with the Smithsonian. It details and chronicles the earliest recordings of County Music, known as the Bristol Sessions, a 10 day recording session in the early 1900's. There are many instruments from that Era as well as some newer but still historically significant. It's got some hands on exhibits, such as sound stations that allows you to interact and choose music from the Bristol Sessions. There are also sound proof booths where you can sing a long. The famous Carter family were 1st recorded there. Johnny and June Carter Cash's son narrates videos in the museum.
Jeana Gregory — Google review
Lovely museum - a must-see if you’re in the area (FREE if you’re staying at the Bristol Hotel next door!!). I’m a music lover and enjoy learning music history; admittedly, I don’t know much about country music or the Bristol Sessions, so I learned quite a bit and had a great time! The displays are laid out well - lots of things to watch, listen to, look at, tinker with, etc. It’s very interactive. Seeing the instrument exhibits and videos inspired me to want to take out my instruments at home and relearn them. Also— it wasn’t really on display, but a piano used during the Bristol Sessions is tucked away near the coat rack behind the “main” stairwell in the lobby. We thought it was neat and surprised it wasn’t displayed out. Check it out! The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask them anything and they have an answer for you or will find out the answer to your question. They love hosting out of town guests and will share recommendations for the area. It’s well worth your time and money to visit this museum, even if country music isn’t your thing. We had a great experience and highly recommend it.
Victoria McIntyre — Google review
This is where it all started. The museum is very well done with loads of history. Lots of interactive displays and all kinds of hillbilly and gospel nostalgia. They do offer a military or senior discount.

Attraction featuring ancient caverns with unique mineral formations & an underground river.
We went on the tour and loved it. The cave was so beautiful and fascinating. Our tour guide did a great job. The hike isn’t so bad. My husband held our 14 month old baby and was able to complete it fine and I did it 6 months pregnant. Just watch your step on the stairs.
T — Google review
There are a lot of steps. There was a couple that were pretty steep. Also, towards the end, there was a series of flights of steps to get back up and out. Slow and steady wins the race. The tour guide was knowledgeable on the cave and takes questions from the crowd. He went at our pace and made it clear we can take our time for pictures or to look around. It is a must see if you are in the area.
Jimmy Giordano — Google review
Nice little cavern adventure! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Could have been about 30 minutes shorter in duration though. Got a little long there at the end. I think taking smaller crowds and making the presentation a little more concise would go a long way to making this a five star experience. Overall, I would still recommend!
Dawn Gossett — Google review
First time here, brought my daughter and grandkids, it was their first time going into a cavern and they loved it. It was about a about 30 minutes tour, the prices are less than $20. For a regular tour, they have longer ones . Their is a tour every 20 minutes. You cannot buy the tickets on line. They also have a gift shop you can buy some of the Stones and Gems from the cave. The tour guide was a sweet young man, gave us some info about 4he history of the cave. Bring a sweater is about 60 degrees in the cave.
madeline martinez — Google review
This was so cool. Rode our motorcycles out here. The tour guide was very nice and let everyone look around didn't rush through. Walkway is concrete, with dirt & small rocks, always wet but not slippery. Hand rails on the stairs. A bit of a walk to get there & inside with lots of stairs.
Bobbi-Lyn — Google review
Wow, what a pleasant surprise. These caverns are beautiful, and quite large as well. Our guide seemed knowledgeable about the caverns, and paced the tour so that everyone could see everything and get a chance to take in the beauty. He explained the history of the cave in great detail. We will be visiting these caverns again in the future.
Scott Morris — Google review
It is one of the most beautiful caverns in the tri-state area! Large open areas where you can see the different structures. Our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. There are a lot of stairs, so make sure you're in fairly good shape. And it's wet, so wear appropriate shoes.
BL — Google review
Great local history! It's not a long tour...about an hour or so. That makes it a great place to stop on your way somewhere. The tour guide (I apologize for not remembering his name) knew his stuff and gave a great oration of the caverns and the history behind it.
John Johnson — Google review
Not a bad place to visit if you’re in the area and looking for something to do. The tour was about 45 minutes. The walk to the cave had some slight inclines but overall easy for us. Took about 5 minutes at most. There was places to sit if you needed them. During the tour, there is one area that has a steep decline to go down, and obviously you’ll have to go back up. The tour guide pointed this area out and allowed those who didn’t think they could manage to stay put until we returned to that area. Stays about 60 degrees year round. I went in shorts and a short sleeve shirt and enjoyed it. Overall a great family experience for the day! I would recommend if you’re in the area! Between the gift shop and the tour, we spent about an hour of our time there.
Nathan Corwin — Google review
Went to Bristol Caverns - very cool (literally) but hard to get great pictures. It’s a very doable but deep cavern. Stays the same temp all year around (I think in the 60’s) so it’s actually warmer down there in the winter. If you’re in the area I recommend checking out. 9 out of 10 stars.
Scott Tyson - Realtor — Google review
Highly recommend!!! It is beautiful. I have never been to any kind of caverns before and I was just blown away at the beauty. It just amazed me how that was discovered and how it is still forming today! I really enjoyed it and it was not expensive and we had a really good tour guide. Just look at these photos.. i think you will enjoy it as well.

Loved this place as a kid, now I'm bringing my kids! Absolute Nostalgia!! Loved the tour guide, the small group I was with was so nice. The Gift shop was reasonably priced and full of little *gems* to set those memories in your mind. They also offer military discount (even though I didn't ask)++

Beautiful View from here of Our Historical Downtown State St. If we can get the Sign lit on Both Sides the View would be Extraordinary.

So, in theory, if you have a TN concealed permit, you could be halfway on the stateline in Bristol with a gun in your right pocket on the TN side and marijuana in the left pocket on the VA side and you're legit...do a 180 degree turn and you get arrested on both sides...Great place to visit, the town has a lot of personality.

If you’re in Bristol, you HAVE to get a picture at the sign! Read up on the history behind the sign, it’s pretty interesting. It’s neat to tell friends and family how you can literally cross the street and be in a different state. Very cool at night or during the day!

Seriously one the most beautiful parks I've ever been to!! Staff at the front gate is so friendly and helpful! The park is clean and free of trash and debris. There's a $2 charge to enter but it's worth that and more!! There is a disk golf course and tons of picnic tables by the water! A must see!!
Charloe Garcia — Google review
Great place for adventure. It has easy and moderate trails, lots of geese, beautiful overlooks and the little train. What more can you ask for? The visitors center was cool too. For $2/person it was a great bang for my buck.

Absolutely beautiful!! It was a perfect sunny saturday to visit this park on 4/13/24 with family! Gorgeous river and waterfall! And train to ride with the kids! It wasn't working though when we visited but I've been to Bristol many times all my life and am floored this park has been here this whole time but very thankful to spend it with family! Very thankful, Praise the Lord Jesus! 🙌

Nice area to walk with our dogs. So many trails to walk. The dogs loved running through the creek. Clean park and only $2 per car to get in. Each shelter has plugs for phones or chargers and has fresh water spouts for drinking and for pets. Restrooms nearby most shelters. Lots of wildlife to see.

Nice parks with a river, picnic area, dog friendly, train, fishing, playground area and bathrooms . $2.00 fee to enter paddle boats, water pad for kids. - Confusing to find main entrance, and road signage is a little confusing as well.

Steele Creek Park in Bristol is a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts! My family and I absolutely love spending time here for outdoor fun and exercise. The park offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational activities. The walking trails are well-maintained and provide a serene environment for a leisurely stroll or a more brisk jog. The expansive green spaces are ideal for picnics and family gatherings, and the lake adds a scenic touch to the overall ambiance. What makes Steele Creek Park stand out is the variety of activities it offers. From fishing in the lake to paddle boating and enjoying the playgrounds, there's something for everyone. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The amenities, including clean restrooms and well-marked trails, contribute to a positive experience. It's the perfect place for families looking to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and create lasting memories. Steele Creek Park is a true asset to the community, and we can't get enough of the recreational paradise it provides!
Shante London Photography — Google review
It was worth the $2 parking although we mainly came to ride the train which was out of service. The man running it was friendly and another man/child wanted to ride it, they were in line in front of us and he said you are welcomed to go look at the train so we walk all the way over there but you can't even see the train because it's locked up. You can peak in the wooden cracks but my son couldn't see a thing. He also mentioned paddle boats but I chose not to (did not bring a life jacket for my son). Regardless we are happy we came down. My son enjoyed the splash pad, after warming up to it and wading in the creek. They also have a few playground areas which didn't really interest my autistic son because there was a lot of kids there so he was a little nervous. Oh and there is also a cool indoor area where you are look at live turtles, etc and a little play area for kiddos. All in all we had a great time and will definitely return again but will call ahead to check on the train operation. If you like to take photographs you definitely need to check out Steele Creek Park, it's absolutely beautiful here. In some ways, in a small way it reminds me of Stone Mtn Park back home in GA.

Love love love it here ❤️ make sure to bring a bit of cash for parking and activities. $2 all day parking pass, free nature center entry which my kids loved. $1 per paddle boat, think the train was $1 per person. There is a splash pad also. I’ve not used it so unsure if there is a fee for that. There are grills, picnic tables, playground, fishing is permitted at the lake and towards the exit is the creek to play in. Def recommend 💗
Heather Leach — Google review
This gem seems little but has so many fun things to offer! Some including fishing, a playground, splash pad, disc golf, nature center and also features a lake. I stopped here on a road trip to take a little break and stretch my legs. $2 parking isn't bad. This park is beautiful and clean. It wasn't too crowded and very peaceful. $1 each for paddle boats and the train (although it was down due to a mechanical issue.) I sat on a bench by the lake and just took in the serenity of my surroundings. It was very peaceful. A lot of wildlife. The two women staff I talked with were helpful and friendly. I look forward to visiting again and doing more exploring!

I hadn't been to Steeles Creek in a few years now. Bringing my 3 year old granddaughter was very pleasurable. She first met the lady at the front gate who was very nice to her when she was told how she was going to the playground. That started our great experience. She had enjoyed the playground and throwing to small sticks she broke in the water while screaming I win. When she had to go potty, even though I thought we were prepared prior, the restrooms were open. Thank God.

620 State Restaurant is a casual establishment that serves sushi rolls and a mix of Asian fusion and American dishes. The interior has an industrial-cozy vibe, attracting passersby to take a peek inside. However, it's the enticing aroma of their award-winning Asian-American fusion cuisine that will entice you to enter and keep you coming back for more.
The service and food was amazing! I went with the stir fry roll, chicken fried rice and a liquid marijuana…delicious!

620 State Street Bristol, Tn The menu has a good selection of options from American to Asian cuisine. My daughter and I shared the Crab Rangoon as the appetizer and it never disappoints. The 620 Roll is so delicious and my favorite item on the menu. Pad Thai with Chicken is Ellie’s favorite. The atmosphere is great whether dining in or on the patio. This is one of my favorite downtown restaurants and would highly recommend.
Kimberly Arnold — Google review
Our waitress was rude and forgot our sushi paying more attention to the patrons at the bar. But we asked for a new waitress. And the new one Jessica was absolutely perfect. Handled everything perfectly. The food and drinks were amazing. Overall a 5 out of 5
Jeffery Pruitt — Google review
Let me start off by saying I tend to avoid fusion restaurants, however, I was pleasantly surprised at 620 State Street. Overall, I had a great experience. I had an amazing server that was well versed on the menu and what she liked. The drinks were delicious, The Mumford and 620 Street Stumble. Yellowtail Crudo was tasty, but the thickness of slices made me feel as if it were the uneven leftover pieces from other dishes. The soups, Hot & Sour and Tom Kha, were good but lacked a “fresh” taste. The Cowboy burger was well proportioned, but lacked added moisture to consume with ease. I ordered a rare burger but received a medium burger, not a super big deal, but once you add up the components can be problematic. Dry products: bun, crispy bacon, crispy onions, medium burger. Personally, it lacked adequate bbq aioli upon initial service to be a great burger.

If you are looking for a good place to take a date for dinner, you can't beat 620 State. The food here is good. The vibe is great, it's got the perfect level of brightness and never overly loud like some other places. They have the best sushi in town by far, the drinks are good. I don't think in any of the time I have come here I have ever had a bad experience.

First time in Bristol. Came to see Ashley McBryde in concert!!! We arrived early to explore the town and heard wonderful things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint!!! Delicious!! Crab Rangoon is to die for! Blackened salmon and sushi also amazing! Love the variety of items on the menu. No way you can’t find something you’d like. Great area to eat outside also. I live 2 hours away but would totally drive back to eat here.

Tried 620 State Restaurant on our stopover in Bristol. Nice entrance through another building and great to be out of the cold on this cold night. Booth is spacious and service is prompt. And we love Benjamin Walls photography on the brick walls. The Strawberry and Pecan salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette was delicious. Thinking it’s a fusion restaurant, we decided to try Asian for entree which might not be the best decision. The Szechuan Beef and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was not Asian tasting at all. Maybe burgers would have been a better choice. We had cheesecake with bourbon blackberry which was a good idea! Good way to end this meal. Will likely check out another restaurant on our next stopover.

I’ve been here a few times now in the last month and it’s easily the best spot on state street. The atmosphere here is fairly upscale but not so much you feel the need the dress up. Great date night atmosphere. Nice exposed wood and brick, with cute accent pieces that makes this place Unique like the local photographers prints and local artists paintings on the wall. Food is great! Always incredibly flavorful with cool fusions and as well as more traditional options. Drunken goat, spicy noodles, drunken noodles, and junkyard roll are always solid choices. They also have an awesome beer menu with some local favorites. The service is alway too not, very attentive and nice. They’re always a willing to give recommendations an honest opinions. They don’t to where a uniform which I love for the most part but it does make it hard to figure who’s an employee when you need something. I guess I’d recommend name tags? Overall this place is a staple of downtown culture and an institution for State Street.

My friend and I were sat fairly quickly for it being lunch time. Our server was sweet and understanding for us having to leave sooner than expected. The sushi is always delicious. This visit I chose The Bakersfield and stir fry roll. 🤤

We were there for lunch on a Saturday. Our server Bethany was very attentive and pleasant. Loved the food! Generous portions, flavourful and good presentation. My wife, who lived and worked in Thailand for 8 years rated the Pad Thai as the best she's had in America, and she's been in the US almost 23 years now. We tried the fried pickles appetizer and loved them, too!

We were traveling through and stopped here because of a TikTok review. It was 10/10. The atmosphere, service and food were impeccable. Amazing choices for food. Adam was our server and he killed it. He couldn’t have done any better. He was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. We got the firecracker shrimp, soup of the day (TomCat?), and each got a specialty burger both the 620 burger and the drunken goat burger. We were very happy with our choices.

The Mad Greek Restaurant in Bristol, TN is a popular establishment known for its delectable Greek and Italian cuisine. It is highly regarded for its gyro platter, porterhouse pork chops, and pizzas. The desserts offered are also a must-try. This lunch spot provides excellent service, with helpful staff like Kristy who ensures that customers always have a full drink. The food arrives promptly and tastes delicious.
We went here for lunch today and it was great! Kristy was very helpful and always made sure I had a full drink (that’s my favorite thing at a restaurant). The food was out in a reasonable amount of time and it was good. We ordered breadsticks and thought the marinara sauce would come with it… it didn’t we were charged extra which I thought was odd, but it homemade and good also. They have an outdoor seating area with a water feature and freshly planted plants.. it was very cute and homey.

1st time here. The Stromboli was very good and more than enough for 2 meals. Those with me had subs and sandwiches. All of which were very good. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well. One point of criticism. When I walked in. One server was verbally abusing another worker, and I guess she thought it was cute to do it in front of customers. It is very unpleasant to hear and see. We were there Dec 30 at 100pm.

Normally I love the food, but this is the driest pizza I've ever tried to eat. I even ordered extra sauce. I called to make sure sure it was rang up correctly, which it was. Looks to me like they did extra cheese and there is very little sauce. Very disappointing.
Lindsey Greer — Google review
Food is mediocre and definitely not traditional Greek. Never seen a greek salad with lettuce and carrots in it. The gyro isnt thinly fresh cut, it's just a thick piece of meat. Not sure if the owner actually ever been to Greece or even had greek food. Oh and what's up with that rice pilaf?Totally americanized and not traditional.

The service is generally excellent here. Unlike a lot of places that barely have enough staff to open the restaurant, they have staff that can cover the tables and take care of customers. The food is very good and prices are reasonable considering inflation. Porterhouse pork chops are great. Kids like the pizza and spaghetti.

My family are regulars here! After years of dining at Mad Greek in Bristol, we've never once had a bad experience. The food is always amazing, the service is top notch, and the prices are some of the best around! I highly recommend!

Food is 10/10. The waiter did a fantastic job but they do not clean their bathrooms at all. If the kitchen staff use this bathroom makes me worried i may get some cross contamination with my food.

Definitely needs to be cleaned. Especially the outside patio. Service is good tho once the foods layed down you won't see anyone again till they bring the check. The food is great! At least what we ordered. We go now at least once every 2weeks.

When I walked in they were quite busy. I ordered their freta dip, fettuccine, and a side salad with my favorite dark beer. The first bite of the dip was 100% worth the wait. The fettuccine was a little on the saucy side, which is fine I loved it. The salad was just about as good as a salad gets. Main course arrived a little too fast while I was eating app. But overall… gets a 5 stars from me!

The food was good, the service by our waitress was great, BUT…. We ordered cake to go, I don’t know who changed the recipe on the coconut cake but it was SOOOO different, and not the good coconut flavor like before! Miss the ole crew, and didn’t see any of the familiar faces!! Hate they changed some of the food items the succotash was awesome they used to serve- no longer on the menu!! What’s up??

This place was recommended to us and I'm glad we listened! The food here was so good! We ordered the pita nachos, chicken gyro with fries, and the Greek style spaghetti with chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! They also had plenty of delicious looking desserts, which we will leave room for next time! The service was great, and our waitress, Haleigh, kept our refills coming! We will definitely be back!

It was a First Visit and We had absolutely wonderful lunch here. The food was delicious. We ordered the Meatball Marina appetizer which was divine. I ordered Pizza my husband Lasagna with a small Caesar Salad each. I can honestly recommend it all. So tasty. The staff was super friendly and courteous even answering my questions about the Cakes, which are massive. I now regret not getting a piece to go. Can't wait to return. Cootie Browns, a popular local eatery in Johnson City and Bristol, has gained recognition for its unique ambiance and generous portion sizes. Established in 1999 by the Vella family on North Roan St, Cootie Browns quickly became a favorite among East Tennesseans who appreciate its diverse menu and delicious cocktails. Over time, the restaurant expanded to include several locations throughout Northeast Tennessee.
It had been years since I last patronized Cootie Brown's because we have since lost the Kingsport location in my hometown, but I had seen a social media post about their Sunday Brunch and Bloody Mary Bar. The Bloody Mary Bar is the best in tje region and most affordable at $4 per and Mimosas at $2 per. The offerings on the bar are many, and the Breakfast Burrito I ordered was the best I've ever had. I strongly recommend this establishment!

Finally tried this place! It has a super cool vibe! Just a great casual place with lots of friendly staff, and some pretty great food! The table next to ours had ordered the pizza, even offered us a piece and was super tasty! We know what we are ordering next time! The homemade chips that come with everything were bangin'!! Desserts looked awesome, but we were too full to have it! But there will be a next time! Also, big shout to Kinsley! She was absolutely awesome!

Cootie Brown’s makes one heck of a great Reuben sandwich. I had mine New York style which has extra corned beef and sauerkraut, and it was massive, I could only eat half of it. One of the things I like the most about Cootie Brown’s aside from the great food is their consistency. In all the times I’ve visited, I always know what to expect. The staff is very friendly and courteous as well. I had my mom with me who is wheelchair bound and they all went out of their way to be helpful. Cootie Brown’s remains one of my favorite restaurants for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.

Stopped in for a lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and was presented with a large plate of crisp fresh greens, olives, onions, and a perfectly cooked salmon filet. I loved the Luxembourg dressing on the salad as well. Then I had a yummy slice of their key lime pie for dessert. Mmm!

Three stars because food was good but service/server was slower than molasses. Too bad cause the food was good but we probably won’t be back. The cooties potato spirals were definitely really good. My Philly cheesecake was quite delicious and filling and I would say decent value for amount of food. For being a “half pound burger” my boyfriends burger seemed small. See ketchup cup next to burger in pic for comparison. Good selection of draft beer.

Great place to stop in for a bite. It was my first time here (from out of town). They have a wonderful variety of entrees to choose from. I had the NY Reuben with sweet potato chips and they were excellent. Large portions and the pastrami was lean and delicious. The sweet potato chips had a drizzling of a sweet dressing and went well with the chips. Service was great! I also ordered a peach pie to go. It was very good, but was not what I would call a pie, but more like a cheesecake with a thin cake layer on bottom and sides and peaches in between layers of "cheesecake".

Visited during lunch hour. Friend got their Philly Cheesesteak and I got the BBQ Black Bean Burger. Their Black Bean Burger rated up there with one of my favorites, if not possibly exceeding my favorite. I would definitely go back.

The pulled pork was a little dry and I wouldn’t get it again, but the key lime pie is amazing!!! Not overly sweet and not overly tart, just a perfect balance. The tamales are pretty big so two is plenty for a meal. Best part of the it was Joe, the waiter. Very friendly and was on top of any request I had. Definitely worth a second visit to try more pie/dessert and get great service.

The name intrigued us, the unique atmosphere drew us in....we literally sat inside out...and the food will cause us to take another trip to Bristol....the shrimp po boy with a side of sweet potato chips is a winner. Ask for Dani....she is a super awesome waitress...and say hi to Ms. Rita the hostess with the mostest!

The restaurant was cool, the service was great, but sadly the food was just mediocre. The menu is big. There are whole sections dedicated to BBQ and chicken so I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my husband got the Italiano chicken plate. The pork was dry, the bun was hard. I ended up mixing the baked beans, bbq sauce and pork together and it was only then tender and juicy. The chicken plate was $16 and the piece of chicken it came with was small and not very flavorful. We got the chicken verde tamale and the queso with roasted corn as our apps. The tamale was pretty good and the queso was the best thing we had. This place was top rated for local eats and foodies so we’re sad that the food just wasn’t the best.

The menu can be a bit overwhelming, but that means there's something for everyone. The food was good and the atmosphere was fun. Our service was wonderful. It felt like a step back to the chain restaurants of the 90's.

My fiance and I came here for an afternoon lunch. The food is tasty and hella delicious. The salmon I ordered is moist and just right. Nothing felt dried out or rough in texture. The lime made it all better. I recommend ordering the turtle cake. The chocolate mixed coconut is such an amazing combo. The food here is pricey, but it's all good.

All of the locations are great, but this happens to be the one I've tried most recently. If you're from out of town and looking for somewhere local, stop your search now and just go to Cootie Brown's. This is an awesome spot with a bunch of different foods, and I think they're still locally owned. I've dined in and ordered takeout multiple times and everything I've tried has been awesome. Standouts have been the tamales and the pulled pork. For a restaurant that has a rather large menu, they do some of the best pulled pork I've had anywhere. The soups are great as well.

Visited while on vacation and loved the environment! Our server was great and had solid recommendations. Ordered one drink from the bar (a shark week special) and it tasted really good! Everything came in a timely fashion and as ordered. I had the nachos supreme and they were so good! Plus so many! My husband ordered the BBQ and had leftovers! My son ordered a child’s quesadilla and it was a big size! He said it was really good! I wish I had our server’s name.

Aubrey's, a popular local chain renowned for its generous portions of traditional regional comfort meals and draft beers, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Patrons appreciate their outstanding service and military discount. The appetizers, such as the pimento cheese and sausage dish, are tasty, while the strawberry salad is enjoyed by many. The 10-ounce steak with smashed potatoes is cooked to perfection and accompanied by a delectable white gravy.
The food was very good. Hubby had Scrod which he really liked. I had Steak salad and Tomato soup. The soup was rich and definitely house made. But a big shout-out to the staff. Our server was above average as well as hostess that greeted us. A great combination of genuine friendliness, good food and not bad on our pocket book!

Excellent food and service. This is the 2nd time we've gone here since we don't have these where we live. Really great menu and we had a party of 6 and we were seated quickly and got out food promptly. The waiter was fantastic and knew the menu well. We ordered a variety of items and all were good. Steak, Burgers, Catfish, Pasta and soup. All was good with no complaints.

First let me say, Jesse our waitress, was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Our drinks were never empty and she was always checking to make sure everything was great. It was a busy Saturday night and she was attentive to everyone she was taking care of. The food was great too. No complaints at all!

My (best friend's aunt) aunt brought me here for lunch. She swears by this place. She loves the food and service. I'm from CT so I've never been. I ordered the southern fried chicken. Typically breaded chicken lack flavor, but this meal I ordered had plenty of flavor. I ordered Mac and cheese and it was delightful. The waitress kept my tea coming (which I appreciate). If you're in Bristol, VA... pay Audrey's a visit.

First time eating at this restaurant. Isaac H was our waiter and he was outstanding. The food came out quickly. We tried the pimento cheese and sausage appetizer and it was good. They do provide a military discount which is much appreciated. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

First, I would like to say Becky was a phenomenal waitress! I lived for her Christmas accessories she added to the uniform! Now on to the food...Their rolls are amazing! I'm a sucker for pumpernickel, so they had me at hello. The honey butter just takes it to another level (10/10)! We had the spinach dip to start (8/10). I think some artichokes would have taken it up a notch, but the flavor was good. I think their appetizer menu could use some better options. We went on a Saturday, so they had half priced bottles of wine. Becky gave me a sample to help me make my final decision. We indulged. We didn't finish the White Zinfandel, but she corked it for us to take home. I had the Ribeye (9/10) and Becky recommended the Hawaiian Ribeye so my bf had that. He gave it a 10/10 due to the flavor and perfect cook on it. He said it was better than Houston's which speaks volumes! I tried it and I'm inclined to agree. Now we both ordered our steaks medium. Mine was cooked a little under. However, I didn't finish it. I took it home so once reheated it was perfect. I got the loaded baked potato and he got the loaded mash. They salted the skin of the baked potato, so they won me over with that and the mash was easier to enjoy of course, either way both were a 10/10. We also got caesar salads which are classics and kinda hard to mess up. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this place and can't believe it's taken me so long to try it. They have a nice atmosphere and the lighting helps to create a nice romantic ambiance. The full body mirror in the ladies bathroom was a plus too! Becky was so sweet, polite, and attentive. Our cups were never empty and all finished plates were removed quickly! She also set me right with some bread and water to go, as well, which was greatly appreciated! We'll definitely be back!

The first time eating at Aubrey's had a little bit of a wait for a table, like most places today, it was a staffing issue. Had great service. Spinach con queso and tortilla chips for an appetizer. ordered the fish and chips, and they also had the malt vinegar to go with it as most places do not have it. It's not quite like having this dish in England, but it was good. Also ordered the Ruben, which was good. The son had the buttermilk fried chicken he said it was ok and said it was missing flavor it was blan. All in all, we enjoyed it and will go back and try their other dishes.

Whether you're looking to reserve a table for two or enjoy their popular brunch menu, J Franks guarantees a delicious meal with its focus on high-quality steaks and seafood.
We had a late Valentines dinner here. This was my first visit to the old "Troutdale's" restaurant. We had the crab hushpuppies app and the rainbow trout. Both were amazing. The cocktails were perfect as well. Finished the night with their Italian berry cream cake. Beautiful venue, food, and company!

I love this place! We have been going the last few years for New Year's Eve or day. This year we did dinner and it was delicious!!! Everything was spot on! He had the Sea bass and I had the 5 oz filet, and both were just incredible. The appetizer of oysters Rockefeller didn't disappoint either. Even the photos came out delicious! It is a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Bonus; the atmosphere is classic & adorable, especially around the holidays. Just a fantastic experience all the way around. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Plenty of seating. This place is a historical building built in 1872. You can seat indoors, on wicker furniture on the wrap-around front patio, or their lateral outdoor courtyard with a fire pit. The evening ambiance is evening chill and “romantic”. Hanging lights and tabletop canters with kerosene. The courtyard flooring is pebble and shells so heels are not ideal. Dress is smart to business casual, skip the athletic gear. I noted a business dinner and an anniversary being celebrated while there. I went on a Thursday evening at 8pm. Portions are generous. Order the duck fat Brussels sprouts! They are the most tender ever! The old fashion cocktail was a bit on the sweet/artificial side however the food is well prepared and very rich in flavor. The shortcake was homemade and delish but the key lime cake was a bit on the artificial tasting side as well. Overall a fabulous evening with great care by our waitress, April.

Wow! We went before prom and this is by far one of my favorite restaurants at the moment. The staff were sociable and everyone looked excited to be there. For appetizers, we had the crab hushpuppies and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Sometimes hushpuppies are burnt or undercooked, but these were perfect. I got the cake and steak oscar for my main and it did not disappoint. The steak was well-cooked, but the crab cake stole the show. For the price, J Frank is an amazing option compared to the Tavern and other higher-end establishments. In my opinion, this restaurant is one of the area’s finest.

2 of us ate here again last night, and once again everything was outstanding! From our drinks to our meals along with great service in a nice atmosphere…we will be back again soon! Highly recommend the NY strip, Salmon, sea bass and the crab hush puppies. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu as this was our 3rd time dining here in the last 3 months and everything we have had has always been delicious…especially chocolate martinis for dessert!

Had a great time at Brunch to wrap up our weekend in Bristol. We had a personal tour of the history, architecture, kitchen, decor of the establishment while the food was coming. The staff shared some ghost experiences. Food and cocktails were excellent. The whole experience was like being in Charleston. If we lived closer we would certainly head over in the evening to check out the bar or outdoor scene.

The atmosphere here is very nice. A perfect place to bring a date or celebrate that milestone. I ordered the center cut steak with the surf & turf add on. Duck fat grilled potatoes & Ceasar salad. Everything was on point with flavor. The staff were lovely & I felt incredibly welcome. I would love more gluten free options but they still impressed by modifying my dish so that I could still come close to how the original dish was created. I'm hoping to go back for brunch & see how that menu compares. My only small complaint is that it was quite cold upstairs compared to downstairs so I never took my coat off & was still a bit chilly.

We went tonight for our 35th anniversary. We were early but we were seated right away. Our helpful server Phillip told us about the specials and answered questions about the meals we ordered. Everything was great. My steak was awesome. Potatoes in duck fat were so good. The restaurant is interesting as it's an old Victorian style house. We took double chocolate cheesecakes home...very good.

Sunday brunch with husband, son, daughter in law was terrific! The quality and variety on the brunch buffet was plenty to please everyone's taste. Cocktails and juice bar were perfect. Hard to recommend just one thing. Service was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Only reason for less stars for that is that it was a bit crowded at times with people making their way through the buffet which circled through 2 front rooms in the historic house. The layout is efficient for flow, but could feel a bit less cramped with some small decor changes. Pricing was beyond fair. Altogether we absolutely loved it, will return soon, and definitely recommend for a nice time out.

One of the best, finest places I’ve ever ate at. Why did I not go here before today?! Mixed Drinks….yummy. Bosa Nova and watermelon. The drinks, appetizer (crab hush puppies), salad, and entrees were perfect. I’m a Cesar salad 🥗 person. Their’s is better than Magginanos. 😍. My main dish was perfect for my type of appetite. Shrimp, roll, crab cake, and steak with brussel sprouts, and get this…..sweet and regular potatoes, blended together. 🤤 Waiter was very professional. Fire place going. Space away from other patrons. Finished off with a raspberry creme cake, not to go, straight in my belly. Guess who took home banana pudding cheesecake and another pumpkin pie cheesecake to go? Me. It was me. Worth every penny for this eatery. God bless you all who work for J Franks. 🙌👏🏼❤️😎😇

I really wanted to like this place. We love finding nice restaurants to eat when we are traveling and this place looked perfect! When we got there, we were about the only table seated in the building. We had young kids with us, so we made it clear we were attempting to get in and get out as fast as possible. Our waitress was really nice, however service was absolutely one of the worst places I’ve ever been to and that’s saying a lot. I love to give the benefit of the doubt, but there was just no reason in this case. Not only did we wait over an hour for our food, one of our meals did not come until everyone was finished, only because the server was reminded. Yes, we were still charged for it. They told me they could make chicken tenders for our young child, however it was actually 2 grilled chicken breast which he wouldn’t touch. Steak was COLD. They charged me for a side I never got with my meal. Waited forever for someone to bring boxes and then ended up having to go downstairs to get our check because no one came back. We also ordered A ROUND OF BEERS TO THE KITCHEN! When I asked about the side I never got, they said the manager was busy so just gave us cash. Paid $220 for a meal that felt like Outback Steakhouse which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. Hurt me to not tip 20% but it was seriously not worth it and if I was the manager I would have at least comped that $26 meal we didn’t get until no one even wanted it. I would just say save your money because it was a big disappointment.
