Spacious museum dedicated to historic recordings of some of the earliest country music in America.
What a fantastic museum! The high quality interactive exhibits tell the story so well! My favorite parts of the museum: 1) the mini studio where you could rehearse the vocals from a Bristol Sessions song, then record it so you could hear your voice with the background music, 2) the timeline at the top of the stairs with 3 merged timelines of historical events, Bristol area events, and audio technology developments, and 3) the video with current artists playing Sessions songs and discussing in detail the music and techniques the musicians used to play the instruments.

This was our dedicated stop in Bristol. A well do e collection of memories and personal items. The museum centers on the 1927 selection of recordings, recording artists, and how they were produced. This is not a history through time of country music.
Runnsun — Google review
Well curated museum with lots of information on the artists who performed on the Bristol sessions. Nice collection of instruments too. (Including a couple of Jimmy Rodgers' guitars)

Absolutely beautiful!! So much knowledge and history in such a well put together place! From the smiles and knowledge from June at the front desk. To the cozy, comfortable relaxed feel as you walk through the museum. We had our 15 year old with us or we would of spent even long in there. Interactive things to do and so much to read. A must stop place!

We went to the Country Music museum in Bristol which is the birthplace of country music. They were very nice there and even though there were three of us they only charged us for one person since it was going to close in 40 minutes. As we stuck around the gift shop they didn’t rush us when we apologized for keeping them late a couple of minutes. If you’re a country music fan, I recommend checking it out. 9 out of 10 stars.

This is a wonderful museum with multimedia presentations. Highly recommended for any music lover.

If you love music, this museum is a must-see stop. The exhibits are wonderfully arranged in a beautiful and historic space. The story of how technology transformed people’s access to music and facilitated the broad sharing of musical culture was so interesting and well-told here. And the museum staff were awesome.
Hillarie Higgins — Google review
Loved it!! The staff is so friendly and kind. Beautiful and informative!! The interactive exhibits are awesome.

As the name indicates, this is a museum dedicated to the first country music recordings. Some nice artifacts along with a knowledgeable staff. Several informative videos and a lot of displays with information to read.

The farm and fun time show was amazing. The venue is a very intimate place to see musicians. Love the work they are doing and what their focused on and the way they are going about it being for the local musician and trying to bring true blue country music onto the radio airwaves and saving music by turning one Morgan wallen fan at a time. Keep up the good work highly recommend

Very well executed and entertaining museum. Lots of great info and interactive displays. The museum has a nice balance of readable content, photos, video, instruments, artifacts, and music. This is a gem that you don't want to miss if you're visiting Bristol. Highly recommended!
Jeff Forrester — Google review
This museum is affiliated with the Smithsonian. It details and chronicles the earliest recordings of County Music, known as the Bristol Sessions, a 10 day recording session in the early 1900's. There are many instruments from that Era as well as some newer but still historically significant. It's got some hands on exhibits, such as sound stations that allows you to interact and choose music from the Bristol Sessions. There are also sound proof booths where you can sing a long. The famous Carter family were 1st recorded there. Johnny and June Carter Cash's son narrates videos in the museum.

Lovely museum - a must-see if you’re in the area (FREE if you’re staying at the Bristol Hotel next door!!). I’m a music lover and enjoy learning music history; admittedly, I don’t know much about country music or the Bristol Sessions, so I learned quite a bit and had a great time! The displays are laid out well - lots of things to watch, listen to, look at, tinker with, etc. It’s very interactive. Seeing the instrument exhibits and videos inspired me to want to take out my instruments at home and relearn them. Also— it wasn’t really on display, but a piano used during the Bristol Sessions is tucked away near the coat rack behind the “main” stairwell in the lobby. We thought it was neat and surprised it wasn’t displayed out. Check it out! The volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask them anything and they have an answer for you or will find out the answer to your question. They love hosting out of town guests and will share recommendations for the area. It’s well worth your time and money to visit this museum, even if country music isn’t your thing. We had a great experience and highly recommend it.

This is where it all started. The museum is very well done with loads of history. Lots of interactive displays and all kinds of hillbilly and gospel nostalgia. They do offer a military or senior discount.

This museum was so fun! Such a gem in downtown Bristol. It was so well done and had a lot of hands-on, interactive exhibits. We spent about an hour and a half there. Definitively worth checking out!

Camping at KOA outside Bristol a week ago we wanted to drive thru the area. It is a cool old town, a lively downtown area & good burgers at Burger Bar. Lots of old buildings and architecture.

Welcome to Bristol, where there are markers in the street showing the border. You're in Tennessee and you're in Virginia. Very neat!

Beautiful View from here of Our Historical Downtown State St. If we can get the Sign lit on Both Sides the View would be Extraordinary.

So, in theory, if you have a TN concealed permit, you could be halfway on the stateline in Bristol with a gun in your right pocket on the TN side and marijuana in the left pocket on the VA side and you're legit...do a 180 degree turn and you get arrested on both sides...Great place to visit, the town has a lot of personality.

I live for Quirky things like this so naturally I did love this ... the downtown was cute in its own way ! So we had fun venturing around ... people were friendly to the elderly crossing the street and Courteous to all

Interesting town and neat to stand near the state line and get several great shots in this location.

If you’re in Bristol, you HAVE to get a picture at the sign! Read up on the history behind the sign, it’s pretty interesting. It’s neat to tell friends and family how you can literally cross the street and be in a different state. Very cool at night or during the day!

I've been able to enjoy the Bristol sign more than six decades. It indeed was a "good place to live" for most of my life. However, I left Bristol a year ago due to increased crime and neighborhoods increasingly having that "run down" appearance.

Caverns & Caves
Attraction featuring ancient caverns with unique mineral formations & an underground river.
We went on the tour and loved it. The cave was so beautiful and fascinating. Our tour guide did a great job. The hike isn’t so bad. My husband held our 14 month old baby and was able to complete it fine and I did it 6 months pregnant. Just watch your step on the stairs.
T — Google review
There are a lot of steps. There was a couple that were pretty steep. Also, towards the end, there was a series of flights of steps to get back up and out. Slow and steady wins the race. The tour guide was knowledgeable on the cave and takes questions from the crowd. He went at our pace and made it clear we can take our time for pictures or to look around. It is a must see if you are in the area.
Jimmy Giordano — Google review
Nice little cavern adventure! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Could have been about 30 minutes shorter in duration though. Got a little long there at the end. I think taking smaller crowds and making the presentation a little more concise would go a long way to making this a five star experience. Overall, I would still recommend!
Dawn Gossett — Google review
First time here, brought my daughter and grandkids, it was their first time going into a cavern and they loved it. It was about a about 30 minutes tour, the prices are less than $20. For a regular tour, they have longer ones . Their is a tour every 20 minutes. You cannot buy the tickets on line. They also have a gift shop you can buy some of the Stones and Gems from the cave. The tour guide was a sweet young man, gave us some info about 4he history of the cave. Bring a sweater is about 60 degrees in the cave.
madeline martinez — Google review
This was so cool. Rode our motorcycles out here. The tour guide was very nice and let everyone look around didn't rush through. Walkway is concrete, with dirt & small rocks, always wet but not slippery. Hand rails on the stairs. A bit of a walk to get there & inside with lots of stairs.
Bobbi-Lyn — Google review
Wow, what a pleasant surprise. These caverns are beautiful, and quite large as well. Our guide seemed knowledgeable about the caverns, and paced the tour so that everyone could see everything and get a chance to take in the beauty. He explained the history of the cave in great detail. We will be visiting these caverns again in the future.
Scott Morris — Google review
It is one of the most beautiful caverns in the tri-state area! Large open areas where you can see the different structures. Our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and was a great guide. There are a lot of stairs, so make sure you're in fairly good shape. And it's wet, so wear appropriate shoes.
BL — Google review
Great local history! It's not a long tour...about an hour or so. That makes it a great place to stop on your way somewhere. The tour guide (I apologize for not remembering his name) knew his stuff and gave a great oration of the caverns and the history behind it.
John Johnson — Google review
Not a bad place to visit if you’re in the area and looking for something to do. The tour was about 45 minutes. The walk to the cave had some slight inclines but overall easy for us. Took about 5 minutes at most. There was places to sit if you needed them. During the tour, there is one area that has a steep decline to go down, and obviously you’ll have to go back up. The tour guide pointed this area out and allowed those who didn’t think they could manage to stay put until we returned to that area. Stays about 60 degrees year round. I went in shorts and a short sleeve shirt and enjoyed it. Overall a great family experience for the day! I would recommend if you’re in the area! Between the gift shop and the tour, we spent about an hour of our time there.
Nathan Corwin — Google review
Went to Bristol Caverns - very cool (literally) but hard to get great pictures. It’s a very doable but deep cavern. Stays the same temp all year around (I think in the 60’s) so it’s actually warmer down there in the winter. If you’re in the area I recommend checking out. 9 out of 10 stars.
Scott Tyson - Realtor — Google review
Highly recommend!!! It is beautiful. I have never been to any kind of caverns before and I was just blown away at the beauty. It just amazed me how that was discovered and how it is still forming today! I really enjoyed it and it was not expensive and we had a really good tour guide. Just look at these photos.. i think you will enjoy it as well.

Loved this place as a kid, now I'm bringing my kids! Absolute Nostalgia!! Loved the tour guide, the small group I was with was so nice. The Gift shop was reasonably priced and full of little *gems* to set those memories in your mind. They also offer military discount (even though I didn't ask)++

Opulent performing arts venue in Art Deco style also features a vintage Mighty Wurlitzer organ.
I went with a friend to see Gaelic Storm. The venue is historic and well maintained, the staff that works there are very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. Gaelic Storm put on a fantastic show and I would not hesitate to go see them at a similar venue anywhere. There was a full bar with a couple of craft brews from the local area that were offered as well as a couple selections of liquors. I plan to keep an eye out for the upcoming schedule at Paramount Bristol, I will be back to watch something.

Went to the Paramount in Bristol, TN for the first time last night to see Bill Engvall on his Retirement Tour. The Paramount is an old theater in downtown Bristol built in 1931. It's small like an elementary school theater but very classic atmosphere. No top balcony just floor seating and very tight but you'll forget all that when you watch the entertainer you're there to see.
Sattnin77 — Google review
Had the pleasure of performing at this venue! Beautiful facility. Great Staff!! The Crew is amazing, great sound! Hugh dressing rooms, awesome mini dressing rooms by the stage. Every seat in the audience was a great seat. The Lady Supreme Diana Ross Experience is an interactive show. We go out into the audience, and they become a part of the performance. They loved it! Hope to return!! Beautiful neighborhood as well.

We enjoyed the opening night of The Sound of Music. Every professionally done musical. Beautiful preforming arts center that was created in the 1960's. The popcorn and drinks are expensive like movie theaters.
Tami Stewart — Google review
If you want to experience a big show in a small setting, this is the place to go. They are able to get some of the biggest acts around, and the prices are very reasonable. There's no such thing as a bad seat in the Paramount, and that's a good thing. Even if you're on a budget, you're going to be able to find a good seat and see a great show. This small room with its nostalgic atmosphere makes you feel like you're stepping back in time. The world needs more places like this.

Tonight was outstanding and a wonderful birthday for me. We attended the Ernie Haase & Signature Sound concert and had 3rd row seats and enjoyed every moment. The popcorn was very good too! Thank you for being so welcoming to us and having the best quartet around. I hope to be back in the future.

Had an absolute blast seeing Henry Rollins at this BEAUTIFUL historic theater. My only complaint is the seats. I’m a big guy and not only are the seats made for the small folk’, they’re EXTREMELY uncomfortable as well. Every part of my body hurt after spending 2.5 hours in that seat It’s not just the plight of the thick man, either. My sister is tiny and she had trouble sitting in those seats.
Joshua Leonard — Google review
Went to the Christopher Cross concert, and it was excellent. It is nice this theater can provide such wonderful entertainment. First time at this venue, and hopefully not the last. My only negative was the door. When open, the light from the lobby entered, making it annoying to the audience and perhaps the entertainment.
B Joseph — Google review
Went with a friend that was a big fan of Earth Wind and Fire: a tribute band was playing. The theater is swell! The acoustics and lighting good too. Definitely will be back!

Played a show here tonight with the Airlifter Brass from USAF Band of Mid-America. Staff from this wonderful facility were absolutely amazing. They took great care of us and made the evening real special. This is truly an American gem and so grateful we were able make this performance happen for the Bristol VA/TN 😉 community. All the best and see ya soon.

Watching Trace Adkins here in Dec. was awesome! First time there and I was impressed with the beauty of this historic place. Very nice staff. Clean restrooms. Would highly recommend! Paramount how about getting Whey Jennings to perform here!? Keep bringing in great artists and we will definetly return to see them. Love that such a nice place is only 10 minutes from my home!

I love losing money but I love losing it more when I'm at a casino that has a lot going on. There is food, music and many games to gamble on to maybe win but mostly lose. It's a great place to go for excitement and entertainment. The staff is great with positive vibes. I didn't see anything negative and I also seen people winning big so it does happen, just not my lucky weekend. Would go back absolutely. Highly recommend

Love this casino. It is a work in progress so I try to keep that in mind when visiting. Some cons are the cigarette smoke is a lot at times. I have to take brakes to step outside or a non smoking area for fresh air. The other is that when your on the casino floor it’s extremely hard to get a drink. I have to make frequent trips to the bar for drinks. Overall it’s a nice casino and the staff is very friendly. It will be very nice when the actual casino is built and they move that from the old Parks Belk.
Troy Melvin — Google review
We love Tuatha Dea, and they were playing at the casino for free. We waited all week, then drove 45 minutes to get there, only to find out that the room where the concert was held could only be accessed by going through 21+ areas. We had our 19yo with us. NOWHERE is this mentioned on the casino's website or in any of the promotions. I went back and checked. I called to see if there was a solution. I'd give the customer service rep 5 stars. He was very sympathetic and polite, obviously knew his job. He tried hard to help us, but every solution that he or we suggested was immediately shot down by their administration and/or security. During the call, I found out that the restrooms and restaurants are also past 21+ restricted areas. Also, for people who have a sensitivity or allergy to tobacco smoke, there is no way to get to nonsmoking gaming rooms without going through rooms filled with smoke. Overall, everything except the customer service representative was poorly planned and poorly executed. I've been to the casino in Cherokee, and had a far better experience. If I could have given this 0 stars, I would have.

This place was absolutely beautiful. My boss took me to see a band. This place was impeccably clean. The bartenders were seriously quick. The pizza joint in the back was amazing with the lady up front smiling as if she won the lottery. This was truly an unforgettable experience.
Randall Breeding — Google review
Had an absolutely wonderful time. Yes it is new, give it a chance. They will get better and bigger as this is temporary until they get it built bigger. Parking is free! You may have a little bit to walk, but no difference than parking at a mall that is a little crowded depending on when you go. Yes you can smell smoke. And strong. If you are not a smoker, I suggest when you enter to go through the hallway that leads to the non smoking room so you can skip all the smokers!!! We had a nice lady that worked there tell us about it! The non smoking room is small and stays crowded. But that will also depend on the day and time you go. They are short staffed on waitresses so if you want a drink, they are free on the floor, they also have free water. The game machines take cash. They have machines that break your bills if you need 20s for the machines, and you cash in your ticket before you leave to get your money you won or what you have left on your ticket. You can cancel your game at any time in those machines and cash out. It gives you a ticket to cash out when you leave or to switch and play other games. This is for those who have never been to a casino. Also, they do have tables with poker, 21 blackjack, etc. You go to player services to give them your ID to get a FREE card which in turn you put that card in each machine you play to give you credit points you can earn that you can use there at the casino in different ways. You can download the Unity Hard Rock app on your phone yo check your balance on points and see what all you can do with them. The ATM charged us 6.00 for pulling 100. So that is what they charge. We have not tried the food, but absolutely will next time. Hope this helps!
Angie R — Google review
Like most casinos the stench of tobacco smoke will take your breath away. Stinks. They do offer a very small non-smoking section. Although you can still smell the stench of tobacco smoke in the non-smoking section, it’s better than the main floor. However the number of games in the non-smoking is extremely limited. Only saw 4 video poker machines (best odds) and all 4 were in use.
JMH HKY — Google review
Casino only open so far. They have about 8 to 10 table games (blackjack/poker, etc) in the main area, but the downside there is the gosh awful smoke from cigarettes & cigars. There is one small room to the side that is non smoking but when we were there mid-afternoon on Wednesday they didn't have dealers there for the tables, so it was slots only. Drink prices ridiculously high - $11 or $12 for the small lowball size glasses & the jigger wasn't even full when the outside bartender fixed them. We didn't eat in the restaurant this time because the last time we were there we had almost an hour wait for our food to come out, and there was only 4 or 5 other tables full then. It was good & very tasty when we got it, but way too slow in coming out.
Debbie Cassell (DCinTN2012) — Google review
The slots are too tight. They do not have any good slots like dragon link in the nonsmoking section. Soda drinks are flat. Seating is too close. Bathrooms are not convenient to get too. The restaurants are very good. The personnel are very polite. The facility is clean. Plenty of parking spaces.
Terri Kimbler — Google review
Nice smaller-sized casino, with plenty of newer and older games. Unfortunately I can't rate it more than 3 stars due to the prevalence of smoking in the establishment. Unlike most casinos where there is a smoking section, the main floor is the smoking section and there is a small non-smoking room. That room didn't have any second-hand smoke smell, but the games I wanted to play weren't in there. Ended up leaving feeling physically ill from all the second-hand smoke in the casino after 2 hours. If you can handle the smoke or are a smoker, it can be a great place for you.
Colonel Cthulu — Google review
Great for being a temporary casino. Selection of games could be better. Great service from the security at the front and the players club. Heavy smoke smell upon entry, could use better air filtration system. Overall had a good time and walked out with more money in my pocket than I started with.
Relentless Entertainment — Google review
They have a lot of good slots! The high limit area could use an upgrade. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cigarette smoke was very intense, and I was there on a Sunday morning. Hopefully, the smoke won't be as bad when they are in the permanent building. They have a very small non-smoking area with a small selection of slots and tables. I look forward to visiting again when the property is completed!
Hope Strange — Google review
Way to much smoke, I work for Graton casino in Santa Rosa, Ca and the scrubbers they use for filtration is top notch. You have a small room dedicated for non smokers, this room doesn’t even have enough machines to keep people interested. Very disappointing.
Ross MItchell — Google review
I've only been to the casino twice, but it is definitely a fun few hours! They have tons of video slots - I'm not a fan. They do have a few reel slots & although they are all computer driven, these make me feel like I'm playing a slot machine instead of a video game! The casino is clean & well-staffed. I have not tried either of the restaurants, but I hope to in the future. My sister & I went together & had quite different experiences at the players club desk. I left with my card & info on the $10 promotion available. She was better informed & was telling me about all the other benefits for 5 minutes as we walked away. I'm pretty sure a weekly casino trip is going to be our new thing - at least until we run out of money!
Nemo In TN — Google review
Hotel is still under construction. We found the slots to be very tight and the casino felt very cramped with how the machines and table games were laid out. Cigarette smoke was terrible, and the tiny non-smoking gaming area had an abysmal game selection. Definitely not very impressed thus far; maybe it will be better once the resort fully opens. For now, I can have a much better time at Hollywood Casino in Charles Town for just a smidge longer drive.

Couldnt get the drink girls attention for nothing. Machines were on the take.. Giving Bonus plays without any hits at all.. Low ball payouts. For BIG WINS. The Players Club desk people were very nice and incisive. Welcoming even. Alaxander, was great. I did like the giveaways. I didn't personally win anything. But it was good to see people get SOMETHING. Hoping that was real. The machines were very very disappointing. Reminded me of tge ones in Georgia. Were there are no real casinos..Driving back at night was a real task. No lights on the highway.

I Always have a good time with friends and family. Great food and fun! This place is already amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere rocks. I can not wait until they open up the new Hard Rock Hotel and expand the casino.

They are willing to burn you and treat you like a crook over 10$. I called support about the new member bonus and was told they would honor it at the players' club. They refused and treated me like a crook. Called hardrock Back, which is the number listed under this casino as they don't have a direct line for some reason, and they reviewed my recorded call and verified what I said. Hard rock will honor their commitments this casino will treat you crooked over 10$, even though they have made countless millions from the kind people of Bristol already. Who voted to allow them to even come here in the first place. They would have undoubtedly made more than the 10$ they misered with me on that was given to me anyways. My recommendation is to not spend a cent with the people running this place and if you hit a handpay leave immediately. I will say hard Rock will honor what they say but the players club here will miser with you the player. The people of Bristol are wonderful kind folk though I will say.

Enjoyed my time there. However when we wanted to leave at 10 pm on a Friday night there was no way to get back to our hotel. Waited for an hour trying to get Uber, no luck. Security & door staff gave us a few numbers for drivers. They were all a no go. Took almost 2 hours to find a way out. The casino is aware this is an issue. I would think they could afford to spring for a shuttle. Or even just provide a shuttle that charges. I would've been happy to pay to leave

Hamburger restaurant
Burger Bar, a long-established eatery in Bristol, Virginia, is renowned for its burgers, hot dogs, and shakes. This retro diner from 1942 holds historical significance as it was the place where singer Hank Williams had his last meal. Situated at the beginning of State Street, the vibrant red and pale yellow building stands out among the surrounding brick structures. The Burger Bar offers a classic diner ambiance with walls adorned by dollar bills taped up by previous patrons.
This place is so cool! The nostalgia inside is amazing! Old hub caps, mid century figurines, and old photographs are everywhere. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly! The French fries were hot and the onion rings were unbelievable. This was a lot of fun and we look forward to going back again. Thanks for a great experience.

Love the atmosphere and staff! Very friendly and helpful. Food was exactly the kind of thing you'd want out of a local burger joint, nothing fancy, just good food. You can feel the history here, and it's tucked back around a corner of main street, away from all the fancier frilly options, yet it was still packed; which shows just how great of a local place this is!

Loved the cool old school diner vibes inside. My family were in town visiting family and as soon as I saw the restaurant, I wanted to try it. The staff was super friendly and the burgers? Delicious. Excellent choice for a lunch spot while exploring downtown Bristol.

Driving through and there were quite a number of options. A classic burger sounded like a good choice. I had been on a chili dog kick, so I went with a chili cheese dog and a burger. My wife decided to go a little lighter... They offer a 1/2 burger! So she did a burger and onion rings. I love that the hot dog is split. I usually split and griddle them at home. It lets the toppings sit a bit better. The burgers were your basic classics.

So I have another place for everybody to check out if you’re in Bristol Virginia you have to go by the burger bar this place has been in business since I believe they said 1934-38 somewhere in there seem like every time we were in Bristol Virginia we get there a little late and the place is already closed but this time we struck gold we had burgers and fries we got the same burger, the Shawn burgers fresh beef patties handmade every day the fries were cooked perfect no mushiness nice and crispy and hot. The burger themselves were really good. I was surprised, we got there around 2 o’clock hotel was not ready for us to check in yet so we went to the burger bar had lunch and it filled us up so much that we didn’t have a big dinner. We just had a couple appetizers since it was our first time when we talk to the owner, who does most of the cooking there with his wife and daughter and a great weight staff that they put together everybody’s friendly the food is great it’s not a very big place they have us in the front room. They have a small counter and some tables there and then they actually got the place next-door and opened up and expanded it to make it bigger. It’s a really cool place and I think everybody would enjoy, like I said we had the Shawn burgers me and my wife and the owners are very nice. What a really cool place we will be back definitely and since it was our first time, the owners gave us a sample of the sweet potato fries, and the Parmesan fries with a cinnamon aïoli and a barbecue aïoli sauce to dip in all complementary. Very nice people. We definitely will be back.

We had heard about the Burger Bar in historic downtown Bristol and drove 42 miles to eat there. The experience did not disappoint. The specialty burgers we received were huge and were so good and the homemade onion rings were big and delicious. The atmosphere was casual and nostalgic. The service was so friendly and welcoming and the prices reasonable. We had the best time. Good food and a great place

Been here several times and always great food! The burgers are 8oz patties and the parm fries are amazing as they aren't stingy on the parm. Today we had my fav, the maple bacon burger, and the 3 grilled cheese, bacon, bbq burger. Will be back soon!!

A really awesome place with bomb food and awesome people. The Mormon Burger was really good and would recommend getting it with a book of Mormon so you can get the best experience 😋

Awesome little burger joint at awesome prices! Been here 3 times now and tried a different burger each time, and it's always been delicious. Also love their parmesan fries with the barbecue aioli. Prices are very fair too, something you don't see much anymore. Highly recommend!

Customer service was good. Nobody said anything to us until we sat down. We ordered our food to go, and it came out to like 30 something bucks, which isn't too bad at all price wise. The burgers were delicious, perfectly cooked, well balanced flavors. We got the Mac burger and the fire God burger. The Mac burger was 8 out of 10. The fires' God burger was great, but I got level 5 out of 10 spicy, and it was beyond hot. I'm a regular spicy food person, but for it to be a 5, I can't imagine a 10. The parm fries were fabulous. The sweet potato fries could have been cooked a little longer. Overall, it was a great little place to grab a bite to eat a great hometown. I feel great food detonated and give it a try.

We visited a few days ago. I got the “I Can’t Help It” burger and my boyfriend got the “BZ Burger”. My boyfriend says that his burger was probably the best burger he has ever had, he just didn’t like that it came well done and was unaware if we could request differently. We both added bacon to our burgers. I really enjoyed my burger as well!! This place was amazing and my boyfriend keeps saying he wishes we had an extra day here (because we’re from Florida) because he would drive the hour from our Airbnb to get another burger. When we visit Tennessee again, we will for sure be coming back! We also got to write our names on a dollar bill and tape it to the restaurant which was a cute idea!

Seat yourself, stalk the tables if you must. Everyone needs to eat here once. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers with fries. Reminded of my school days, the burgers was great served hot, but after a bit, the heat wore off it was chewy like, so my advice eat fast. The fries were spot on and it was nice to see the cooks prepping and grilling everything seemed fresh but I still wonder if those patties were part of the new age bio burgers. Our waitress never came back to refill our drinks good thing I saved the last sip as of I had eaten more chewy burger I would certainly have choked to death like the last person on a burning earth in a tree waiting on the fire truck to put me out with their hose. Oh my I almost forgot they serve the mayo in a squeezy bottle, I won’t eat fries without it so I had to pray real hard the old clear mayo stuck on the rim didn’t accidentally fall into my basket. So I flipped the coin in my head and just rolled with it. I wrote this review the next day and I didn’t throw up once last night so I’d eat there again. Not to self Bring your Mayo next time Gaga. When I come back I’ll know to eat fast, order 3 drinks and cheese on my fries and bring mayo.

Great food , great service. Our waitress was awesome, the cooks were super friendly. The restaurant was busy but we got waited on promptly. The atmosphere was laid-back. Definitely recommend.

Would have had better everything at any McDonald's...worst experience I've ever had there today. Not the least bit friendly staff (and I was wearing my war Veteran hat and was friendly to them), the burger was so dry it was difficult to eat (the bacon on it, which I paid extra for, was so tough I had to pick it off), fries were so hard/overcooked/stale that less than half were even barely edible, and couldn't get anyone to refill my drink. All for 1 burger combo that went from $11.95 advertised price to over $16 with Virginia's triple taxation to eat there and the fee that they charge on every ticket (regardless of whether it's paid with cash or card). It was so bad I only ate about half the burger and less of the fries. Avoid this place, we sure won't ever go back. I would give a negative star if that were an option.

This place is so very cool!! It's very eclectic and unique. I love how they have stuck to burgers and not done what do many other places have done in trying to add every kind of food to their menu. Now Wendy's is offering breakfast burritos...give me a break already. Stick with what you know!! The Burger Bar is staying true to fantastic burgers!! The onion rings and fries are awesome, too! We WILL be going back!! Oh, and you'll LOVE the interior decor!!

Traditional American restaurant
Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, a family-friendly chain offering American comfort food with a Texas twist and tasty cocktails, is known for its delectable dishes. Located in Blaine, Tennessee, this restaurant pleasantly surprises its customers with their mouthwatering croissants drizzled in honey sauce. While some beverage choices didn't meet expectations initially, the prompt service quickly resolved the issue.
The steak was great, service was also great. This will be our place to stop at. The green beans tasted sweet, not out thing. The country fried steak was fabulous. My hubby liked it. And very reasonably priced.
Gail Hengst — Google review
We came from Blaine, Tennessee. My husband decided to pleasantly surprise me since he knows I love Cheddar's. I love the croissants dribbled with honey sauce. I ordered a Sprite and my husband ordered a diet coke but it tasted awful so he ordered an unsweetened tea. It took 5 minutes to get someone to come change it. I ordered the Chicken Dijon and my husband ordered the fish. Another waiter brought our meals. The chicken was a bit overcooked but not horrible. The coleslaw was fresh and the broccoli cheddar was yummy. There was less rice than usual but I am not complaining since it means less carbs. I usually give 5 stars to my Cheddar's and I've been to a few of them but this one I give a 4 star.

I visited this location around 9 PM on a Monday. While it was an hour before closing, you couldn't tell because the staff was engaged, friendly, and eager to provide a welcoming dining experience. I would definitely return. My better half got the hot pot pie and couldn't stop raving about it. I got the ribs and chicken tenders with a side of broccoli and fries. The fries were very salty and seasoned, and I would recommend holding the salt if ordered again. The broccoli was buttery delicious, and the chicken tenders were the best I ever had...tender with a crispy, flaky crust that paired awesome with the honey mustard. I ordered the Cheddars Pain Killer drink that has a customer order limit of two. It's a sweet, pineapple, colada drink with coconut milk filled with large ice cubes and sprinkled with spicy cinnamon. It was great, but it didn't impair me at all, LOL. Oh, yeah, and the ribs were sweet, tangy, and tender. I don't know when they prepared them because the food came out really fast within five minutes, but the ribs had an abundance of meat. While here, I plan to visit again. It's a great family restaurant with quality food at reasonable prices and 5 star service.

Our server and management was awesome!! Unfortunately the food was lacking. I believe the frying grease needed to be replaced and some of our food seemed as if it had been sitting waiting to be ordered. The chips were stale. When management found out I did not like my dish they took it off my our bill. That was very much appreciated. The croissant were fresh and delicious.

Met my brother and his wife there for their anniversary lunch. I had the chicken fried chicken- one piece could have fed all three of us, but it was good so I ate the whole thing myself. The beans were inedible though. The fries were also good, but not so good I could eat the entire fried mountain of them. Service was good and I would do it again.

This place has excellent comfort food. I had the country fried chicken (extra gravy, please) and my friend had steak and chicken tender combo with honey hot dipping sauce. The sweet iced tea is worth traveling for, delicious and affordable!

Wow at my family’s experience. When we arrived there were 2 other families waiting to be sat, someone finally came after about 4 minutes and sat the two families in front of us. After the lady sat the family in front of us she disappeared, and another hostess came to the front and asked if a table was fine in which I responded no, because I had two young children. There were two other families that had came in behind us while waiting on someone. Once I said I needed a both she moved us to the side and sat two other tables. Another few minutes went by and we were sat. When we got to our booth there was food ALL over the table and in the booth along with wrappers. She basically threw our menus down and walked away. I proceeded to follow her to her friends who were talking and ask for something to wipe the table off. The look I was given was a look of annoyance and disgust. She marched herself over with bar napkins and wipes it off with an attitude and again walks away. The mess that is under our table tops it off! If underneath the table is any indication of what the condition of the back of the house looks like it might be time for a health inspection. Had I not had two hungry kids with me I would have never eaten there tonight. Our server was great and very attentive. I did bring it to whom I’m assuming was the manager and his reply was he was sorry for our experience. DO BETTER CHEDDARS.

Look at those thick-cut fresh fries! Baked Mac is best ive ever had. (Kinda sweet tasting...) Didnt know i loved collard greens (with hot sauce) til i tried them here with their cornbread.
Carol Wolverton — Google review
Our first visit to the new location was wonderful. Very few places offer a full half chicken and Eatz offers several different iterations of this. The fried chicken was really juicy and flavorful. My wife had the open face roast beef. It was delicious as well. Fast, friendly service and we love the decor.

Glad I discovered this place after visiting the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (it’s less than a block away). Everything was just delicious! My favorites were the meatloaf, collard greens, and cornbread. All homemade from scratch and seasoned perfectly. Delicious!!!
Angie Hyche — Google review
I would highly recommend the fried chicken the fried catfish the fries and the mac and cheese however I would not recommend the baked mac and cheese as it is super sweet and under seasoned I wouldn't recommend the cornbread it's really sweet and very dry and the banana pudding as it's more vanilla pudding with banana and wafers I would recommend the BBQ baked beans super tasty I would recommend the green beans really tasty with a bacon flavor I would recommend the sweet tea I will say it's not quite sweet enough but almost perfect. As for the service I didn't get the waitresses name but she was very friendly very patient and all around great. The building was very clean very nice the seats were a little tight but very comfortable and if you like sports this place is perfect for you I would easily say this is the best soulfood in Bristol

Cornmeal battered catfish or fall-off-the-bone chicken: dry rub or Jerk seasoned dipped in Max's homemade BBQ sauce. Succulent! So many sides to choose from- we tried baked mac, yams, baked beans & green beans. Complete your meal with homemade banana pudding.

Best BBQ in Bristol. Used to go all the time for their super great prices when they were on Moore Street. They closed for a while when they moved to State Street and we were super worried that it wouldn't be the same experience after the move. The new place is a lot bigger and we always liked the family run atmosphere of the Moore Street location, but the new location is JUST as good as the old one. Even their regular old chicken tenders are soooo good. Owner makes the food and will check in on tables himself periodically. Always super friendly guy. We love coming here to eat! Never gets old.

This place is a gem! We were looking for somewhere to eat while we stayed the night in Bristol on our way back to DC. If you love southern country cooking, soul food and extremely friendly people, stop here! You won’t be disappointed. The fried chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried okra was also delicious and the banana pudding blew my mind! The restaurant was homey and clean and the food was all delicious and affordable. A charming restaurant in a charming town. We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 35 guests and everyone expressed that the food was delicious! We live out of state and planning this was made very easy thanks to Chance B. Her responses to my emails and phone calls were prompt and pleasant, she made it a point to introduce herself to me before her shift ended the night of our event. I just can't say enough nice things other than she made planning this very easy and effortless for me. I have worked in fine dining for over 3 decades and am a tough critic, if I could give them 10 stars I would - thank you again for making it a wonderful night before a big day. Great chef, great staff, great managers

After a pleasant nights stay at the bristol, I came down stairs to get some breakfast before hitting the road. I was greated very pleasantly and sat immediately. I had nice conversation and helpful suggestions from both server Crystal and manager Kim. They made me feel right at home. The breakfast sandwich I had was soooooo good and so were the breakfast potatoes. The rooftop they have is so cool and have new heaters, making it a pleasant place to hang out in any season. It was a great start to my day and I wish I could have stayed longer to get the rest of the days meals!! My car actually randomly stopped working and my engine died about an hour after I left and I spent all day waiting for tow trucks, going to mechanics, and getting a rental car to try to get back on the road( im in the middle of a move) and I honestly feel that Kim and Crystal's warm and friendly attitudes along with the tasty food I had kept my attitude about the whole car order calm and in his spirits. It sucks I have to now get a new car when i had a perfectly nice one to stay with and it is hosting but the amazing start to the day helped me keep from not feeling defeated. I thank them for giving my morning a positive jumpstart!! I'll definitely come back and suggest coming here for a fantastic food and/or event experience. Great deals and specials all week too!! P.s: sorry about the food partially eaten in the pic but it was so good. I Couldnt help but diving in to the sandwich. Lol

My husband and I rented the Shelby room for our wedding reception lunch and it was the right choice! The staff of Vivian's Table and The Bristol Hotel were wonderful to work with. The prices were very reasonable and we definitely got great quality. The room was gorgeous and made our day feel so perfect. The food was delicious, and the servers were so helpful. They took amazing care of us and made us feel so welcomed. The hot chicken sandwich with the honey glaze sauce was incredible and the cheesecake was swoon worthy. My 4 year old loved the meat and cheese plate, too! We will definitely be dining here again, and we'll have very fond memories of our wedding day for years to come. Thank you so much!

This is our local favorite for breakfast, but have had pleasant experience with dinner and lunch as well. We so enjoy the breakfast staff, Crystal and Ruth. They make you feel so welcome! Only downside to this place is they do not serve shredded hash browns as many restaurants do not around this area I guess. But, it doesn’t keep us from going there as the food, service and atmosphere are all spot on.

We were passing through town heading south and were overnighting in Bristol. We decided to give Vivian's table a shot. And we are glad we did. While we did not order anything complicated from their menu, literally just steak and potatoes, what we got was great. The atmosphere was great, the decorating is wonderful. And the attached hotel seems really nice as well. The service was excellent.

We came in and were seated by the hostess inside near the patio door. We sat for 26 min without any contact from any staff. I asked a nearby server (Emily) about my situation, and she apologized, then stepped up and took over my table. From that moment on, she went above and beyond to make sure my son and I had a great experience. Would absolutely eat there again as I’m sure it was just a seating error and the food was great. Very cool decor.
