It is RARE for me to give a full 5 star review. I am SO PLEASED. We are visiting from Iowa and tried this wonderful place for breakfast. We got a half order of Biscuits & Gravy, the Garbage Omelet, and the Vanilla Bean French Toast. All I can say is WOW. *CHEFS KISS* We haven't had such a solid and delightful meal out in sooo long. Plus the atmosphere, prices, and service were lovely! Thank you so much for adding this goodness to our mini getaway! We already plan to go back tomorrow morning again before we leave town! 11/10 recommend!

Cedar Street Cafe in the center of the town, was a busy place, even at 11am on a Monday morning. The restaurant was full, however we were seated fast. We had a nice window seat in the small café. My husband ordered a mocha. Frappe? That was amazing. Not too sweet and loaded with whipped cream topping. Our breakfasts were tasty, the classic breakfast with eggs bacon and hashbrowns were done just right. The cinnamon swirl toast had to be homemade, and did not disappoint. The cheese omelette may have had processed cheese, which is the only complaint. However, it might have said that in the description only we missed that.

Fantastic staff and excellent coffee! Perfect lunch spot for our road trip. Hand cut fries hit the spot.

The food and staff were amazing. Our waitress joked and laughed with us. I ordered the "garbage" omelet. It was huge!! 4 eggs and filled with almost every available ingredient with a side sausage gravy. I also had a fancy cold espresso drink, chocolate and French vanilla. That was huge too.

One of the best places to eat in town. Mouth watering breakfasts of many varieties. The garbage omelette has to be the best omelette I have ever had, it keeps myself and others returning again and again. The wait staff and management make it even that much better as well. Cannot recommend this place enough, go try it if you’re craving a good meal for breakfast or lunch.

Really cute atmosphere with a wide variety on the menu. The food was okay, nothing to spectacular. The grilled chicken wrap was pretty good and the monte cristo french toast was okay. Service was quick, but they weren’t too nice. Coffee was pretty good.

We're in town on vacation and the waitress at the bar told us it was the best place to get breakfast. She wasn't wrong. The food was tasty and the service was fast. I had the biscuits and gravy, but also got a bit of the blueberry pancakes. The prices were more than fair. I'll probably eat here again before I leave town.

We love Cedar Street Cafe! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is always delicious! We stop at Cedar Street Cafe every time we are in town. Highly recommend!

The food is amazing as always but the service was ridiculous. The lady who seems to be running the place was so rude to me in front of several other customers, and the register girl even looked uncomfortable by it. She treated me like I was stupid for ordering something off their old menu which is posted online. Then continued to make a spectacle out of it all. The food is great and I recommend it but I do not recommend calling it in because they will make you feel like an inconvenience for doing so.

Gyro and Parmesan Garlic fries. This small cafe is spot on! Great selection of dishes and portions to please. If it's busy you may experience a wait, but it's definitely worth it!

Excellent place! We enjoyed breakfast here, and loved it. The Greek omelet and Piggy back Benedict were very plentiful and tasted great. I can't wait to try more of their menu. We'll be back, and I'll recommend them to everyone. Great teamwork by their staff as well. See you soon!

This place is fantastic. The food is hot and delicious. The owners Brenda and Tom go above and beyond and are genuinely wonderful people.

On our trip from Michigan to Arizona we stopped for dinner at this beautiful cafe. The food was amazing! My meatloaf dinner was perfect! And the soup was delicious! The owner and staff were very hospitable! Would highly recommend.

Our first visit, and we'll be back. Food was done well, and it tasted excellent. Spaghetti dinner was cold, though. The pan-fried Walleye was superb!

Delicious! I had the beef barley soup and chicken salad sandwich and it was really really good. I always try to stop at locally owned restaurants and this one did not disappoint! Highly recommend!

As we were staying at the Grey Wolf Lodge nextdoor, we at dinner and breakfast here. I ordered Ashley’s Pasty. It was horrible!! The crust tasted like cardboard and the filling was equally tasteless. The gravy didn’t save it. I sent it back and replaced it with the Pulled Pork, which was good. The lettuce in the salad bar was mostly iceberg, but fortunately enough spinach for me to select. The tomatoes were just bland hot house , but the rest of the salad bar was fine. Hubby had the white fish, which he said was decent enough. For breakfast, I had the cup of oatmeal, which was plenty and nicely done. Hubby enjoyed his French toast. While I sent the Pasty back and wasn’t that impressed with the salad bar, I gave them a 4 star rating for replacing my order so graciously. Other items were tasty enough.

Really nice. Have had some hit or miss experiences with local restaurants in the UP on our camping trip. The service here, though, was excellent. Attentive, friendly, genuine. Every interaction we observed by all of the staff seemed warm and welcoming. The homemade vegetable beef soup on the soup and salad bar was amazing. If I lived locally, I would buy it in bulk. Really happy we stopped in tonight.

Great choice for a good hot meal. We had the pasties and were not disappointed. They were great and I had leftovers. Great value as well - prices are reasonable. Save room for the pie if you can. If you are looking for a corporate chain restaurant experience...this is not your place. It's a very traditional cafe like so many mom and pop places around Michigan. I will make it a point to stop there again.

Nice little diner outside of Manistique. Really enjoyed the soup and pasties! The pasty was big enough to weigh down a body in the lake. Service was good and had a great meal overall.

The waitress/service was great. Very attentive. Place is clean. My husband really liked his breakfast and I would have liked mine but... Just one suggestion, please invest in some shredded cheese for your breakfast skillet. The single squares of American cheese belong on a burger and are way too overpowering. It should have and would have been a great breakfast but unfortunately the cheese killed it.

We stopped for the pasties would come back for the fish. The fish was cooked to perfection it was flaky and delicious! Not only that the service was amazing!! Our server Joy was very helpful and the food came out so quick it felt like we just ordered!

Nice place to finish our long trip. We had a great time with all the suggestions and the outstanding food. For sure we will be back.

Vickie was an amazing server. She's been at the restaurant for 14 years. Her care for the restaurant and her customers really showed. All of our dinners were delicious. We had a hard time picking from the 4 fish options and that's when Vickie told us about the "Fisherman's Dinner". All of the fish was cooked to perfection. The portions were huge on every plate. It was as delicious as it all looks. My family of 9 all walked away with full bellies and leftovers. We only wish we would've saved room for dessert. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by!

Our waitress, Dawn was very attentive and one of the nicest waitresses. Food was wonderful. Had the soup and salad bar with our meal. Haven't seen this offer in a long time. Everything was fresh on the bar and the soups were warm and delicious. You definitely won't leave hungry. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We went to three seasons for Easter dinner and it was a wonderful buffet. Salad bar,soups, ham, best roast beef I’ve had in a long time. They even came around with desert.

Great place to get a fantastic breakfast in if you’re in the area. Our family got the French toast, breakfast burrito, and southern omelette. It was all very good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and we got our food very quickly.

We've stopped here a couple of times on our trips between MN and MI. Each time we're greeted by super friendly staff, the food is consistently good, prices affordable and bathrooms clean. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an easy-going place to get a sit down meal while on the road.

Ok so we didn't know what to expect and all seven of us were blown away! Excellent food! Very nice decor and dining on the river was very cool! I highly recommend. There is also a gift shop there.

We stopped by this cafe for breakfast, the whole place was very clean and cute. There were lots of breakfast and lunch items to choose from and the prices were reasonable. They got two of our orders wrong, our waitress fixed one but we let the other one go. The French toast was really good but the egg croissant sandwich didn’t have much flavor.

Cute little deli! First time Herr and tried the haywire sandwich on wheat, it was pretty good. Great spot for lunch and you can sit outside and enjoy the lake view.

Delicious healthy food, service is very fast and efficient, many options ( vegan, toasts, wraps, salads, soup, sandwiches, desserts. ....) and perfect set up for a lunch break by the water. 100% recommend this hidden gem, too bad it closes so early!

The woman who helped us was so kind. We ended up getting their version of a Philly cheese steak which was very far from an actual Philly cheese but was still delicious. Plenty of cheese but also bell peppers and mushrooms 🤌. Def recommend the Wisconsin cheese soup too!

This is another gem in the UP I was pleasantly surprised by how expansive their menu was and how willing their staff was to make substitutions. They have many soups, salads, and sandwiches and they even offer poke if you're looking for something a bit more exotic.

This place is expensive, like many others in the UP. I guess they need to make $ off summer traffic. We ate bacon cheese croissant & apple crepes. Good. Coffee was not good. Nice staff. Nice location. Nice ambiance.

I got the Granny Smith and it was amazing the apples added some really good flavor to the sandwich Service was good as well I would recommend and I would also come back again

Best drive in that I've been to in a long time. Walleye fish was awesome The kids meals were over the top awesome served in old timer vehicles. The grilled cheese sandwich was too gooey and too cheesy.

Great place to stop, loves the outdoor seating to hang with the dog and enjoy the great weather! The burgers were huge and very good! I really love old school places like this!

One of the best burgers ever. I am glad this is over an hour and a half away because eating a Big C more regularly would ensure I no longer fit in my clothes. Great, tasty burgers coupled with friendly service, and it's not expensive. What's not to love?

I reluctantly went here not expecting much. I have to say pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere. I had a big meal planned for later so I only ordered deep fried mushrooms but they where excellent. My brother ordered a hot dog and fried cheese curds. I was able to watch the hot dog being made and the care I seen taken u would have thought they were preparing a filet mignon. He said the dog was very good and I tried the cheese curds they where great. They have a very broad menu with everything from salad to steak to perch baskets and the prices where great also. Can't recommend enough.

First time. The cheeseburgers were very good and good size. The hot dog is split and grilled and was fine. The fries were simply bad, do not order them. The inside is a shambles but the picnic tables outside have umbrellas and is the place to sit.

Tucked away from the drive by US 2 traffic , there is a hidden delightful surprise in Manistique-" Clyde's Drive- In". Establishment has a fairly expansive menu to choose from ; an affordable, tasty and good size American food ( beat Hardee's on all counts, hands down). You can even see a cook preparing it for you. Kind and friendly crew. While clean and well ventilated, the drive-in interior and exterior for summer could be spiffed up a tad. One of the must to eat places.,👍

Stop here for the quintessential burger, fries, and shake! You won’t be disappointed! Try the “Big C” burger…if you dare! Old school car hops will bring your food out to you, or grab a stool inside and chat with the friendly staff while waiting on your meal. Picnic tables are super nice in the summer months!

This place is a throwback from yesteryear. Your typical greasy spoon diner. You don't find many old school places to eat anymore. Cheeseburger was terrific! Fries were perfect! Chocolate milkshake was terrible. The staff, even though busy was friendly, excellent service. Plenty of parking and plenty of outdoor seating, plus counter seating inside too. Even though the milkshake was a dud, the food was great!

Small drive- in with delicious food in Manistique, there's also one just before Mac Bridge on US-2.Never disappointed with either one, just be ready to wait 'cuz they are both usually busy at lunch & dinner during tourist season...I had the fresh walleye basket. So good!

I had several people recommend this place, and I had to check it out. The restaurant is very small, but the food was great. The servers helping us were very friendly. I was staying at a local Air BnB and this was a nice treat. I had a burger and fries and they both were great. I will be back and will have to check this out again.

Clyde’s was well promoted before we tried it and it did not disappoint. Both of my 17-year-old sons tried the famous cheeseburger and agrees it was the best in the UP! Our celiac guess was able to order GF chicken finger and fires because they have a dedicated fryer - all in all, a great choice!

Great place with classic and quality diner/fast food! Can’t miss the curly fries. The chicken tenders were nice and crispy, and my friends enjoyed the cheeseburger and sirloin burgers! We also really enjoyed the onion rings. The pickles spears were also good but could go without them.

Fair prices for good portions! A lot of good options and friendly service. The brand of ice cream is smooth, but it wasn't quite to our personal taste. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly it was flavor wise that was off for us.. but overall, it was pretty decent! *pic is a 2 scoop Elephant Tracks in a chocolate dipped waffle cone.

I was 4 th in line at the drive through. It took a total of 35 minutes to get a flurry. Finally as I arrived to the window. I placed my order .As I waited and waited as many people went up to the window to order had come and gone. They all were served BEFORE the line of cars that had already waiting ..Very Unorganized in the way you serve, When someone orders at the drive through, You should NOT put that on the Back burner because someone walked up to your window...Make them as you TAKE the order...Just Ridiculous.....

Amazing service, hot dogs, ice cream blue ok swirls, and Mackinac Island Fudge Peanut Butter was on point with any other I have had anywhere else. Super happy that the lovely girl helped us with food ten minutes before closing thank you so much. We are super grateful for your service. Thank you for the delicious food, good prices, and serving us so close to closing. We will be back, the blue goo recommended to us was so delicious. The service was so amazing as well to not :).

Traveling back to Wisconsin from a trip down the west coast of michigan. Stopped in for an ice cream after eating at Wheatey's Pub. We had a small and a large hot fudge sundae. Lot of nuts and a lot of hot fudge. Great service! Oh boy was it good!!

The ice cream is delicious and the price is comparable to other places. The staff is very friendly but the only drawback is the drive through is very slow.
