Specialty Museums
The DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum in Fenwick Island, Delaware, is home to an impressive collection of maritime artifacts from shipwrecks and colonial settlements. The museum features over 10,000 artifacts, with exhibits and pieces changing regularly based on current findings and additions. Donations are gratefully accepted.
If you're lucky enough to catch the owner there it makes the museum 10x better. The stories are simple amazing, how he survived this long blows my mind. Free admission but they ask for donations and I'd suggest to donate. You would have to travel to many museums to what he has there.

Great free small museum. Lots of artifacts on display. Also fun to check out the shop on the first level.
Bill Moser — Google review
Love this place. We discovered it when my son was young, about 20 years ago, sort of by accident. It is above the Shell shop in the big pink building. It is a surprising and varied collection of discoveries from under the sea. A lifelong professional diver's collection of underwater artifacts. They are well presented and are educational and inspiring for all ages. We just visited again while on vacation and were so happy that it is still there. A relic, but in a good way.
Kathleen Stattel — Google review
Fun little free museum... You need to enter through the shop and go up some stairs to go into this. There's a donation bin to help keep this place in business. Wish some of the larger glassed-in areas had bigger text for the cards. Both me and the kids had trouble reading the cards in the deeper display cases.

Super cool free museum in Fenwick! It’s definitely a must visit on a bad weather day or any day. Lots of interesting stuff to see and knowledgeable staff that can answer any questions you may have. I came here on a Sunday and it was raining, so it was quite crowded. But we were still able to see everything. There’a lots of cool things to check out here and I found it interesting to see stuff that people have recovered from ship wrecks.
Patrick Zhang — Google review
Awesome museum to visit located on the second floor of the Seashell City seashell shop. This museum holds so many awesomely beautiful treasures that most people have never laid their eyes on and might have never been seen if someone hadn't rescued them from the deep. Not unlike the seashell shop on the first floor so much to look at it definitely takes a while to take it all in. It is definitely someplace that you could visit over and over again and not see all that there is to see.
Michael J. Metzger — Google review
Very interesting place to visit. Wasn't sure we were at the right place. The outside says sea shell shop. The museum is on the second floor. Wide arrangement of artifacts. Most with detail cards about it's history. Recommend taking a look. Then the store on the first floor had very cute and reasonably price knick knacks and the shop keeps going. There are more sections with more interesting things to shop through and lastly the sea shell section. Very wide variety of shells for sale. The set up is very organized and easy to shop through. Had a very nice visit.
Natalie Gumina — Google review
This was a very fun interesting place to visit at the end of the boardwalk . I learned some new things about the ocean and diving apparatus. Wish I had taken more pictures but my phone was dying . Also enjoyed the displays and presentation
Jasmine Shaughnessy — Google review
Awesome spot! Free museum upstairs! Real artifacts uncovered from shipwrecks! I even got to chat with the fella who finds all the shipwrecks/treasures and learned some of the history behind it all! Such a cool place to stop! Just wish they had some more museum-specific souvenirs!
Justine Rose — Google review
This is truly a gem, must see. The owner's presentation was very interesting. Dave Clifton is a natural speaker; his work ethic is top-notch. His enthusiasm and dedication to recovery shone bright and clear. Congratulations to him and his team.
Louise Dion — Google review
They had a sign saying you're not allowed to take pictures or post them online😂. WELL LOOK WHAT I JUST DID. Actually pretty nice museum other than the ridiculous policy
Ray Out There — Google review
Just love it! We visit every time we are in ocean city and we always come back with treasure to add to our little piece of paradise at home
Tina Gray — Google review
This free museum is a great place to check out with the family on a rainy day! Everyone is very kind and some really neat things are shown. You are allowed to take pictures but no video and no sharing them on social media (hence why I only have a few of the lobby and steps) so you will just have to stop by and see what you think yourself! *note* it is on the smaller side so if it gets crowded you may not be able to see it all.*

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Viking Golf Family Park is a great place for kids and families to enjoy rides, mini-golf, go-karts, and more. It's located just minutes north of Ocean City, Maryland, making it easy to get there no matter where you are in the area. The park is also well-staffed with friendly attendants who are happy to provide recommendations on what to do and see while you're there.
This is one of our favorite minigolf courses in all of Ocean City Maryland. The course is challenging, well maintained and has some really fun, well thought out holes. The Viking theme running throughout is pretty neat here as well. We’ve only ever golfed here so can’t say much about the other activities they have but its always a steady crowd so it seems as though the karts and arcade are fun as well.
Doug — Google review
I would not ever go back to this place. The staff are not nice! The gentleman didnt want to sell me a ticket like he tried to discourage me from buying a ticket an I said I still would like to purchase tickets. Also, I want to add we were like the only black people there and we kept getting stared at like we didn't belong! I would think twice about going here especially of your black! I would never ever support this business. Also, they wouldn't let me go down slide with my child so the lifeguard was like he has to be able to go down by himself. So I would recommend bringing a second pair of hands one to get them on the top and one to wait at the bottom. Also anyone who enters has to pay!
Daniela Gonzalez — Google review
My family & I had a fun time playing this mini golf course last night. It was our first time here, course was very well kept & golf equipment was like new. Staff was friendly and pricing was reasonable. We will definitely be back!
Melissa Gillespie — Google review
Amazing course with so much fun stuff. We just did mini golf but the holes were creative and fun. The employee, Cody, was absolutely amazing and the reason for five stars- not only was he incredibly customer service focused, he even recommended breweries and restaurants for the rest of our trip. Awesome time.
Lucas Mears — Google review
Great time with the family at the water park. Life guards where alert and engaged. Park was clean and activities for all ages. Will go again and highly recommend
Joshua Ruby — Google review
I went with a group of parents and 3 boys. The kids had a blast playing in the water park. 2hr and 4hr passes were available. Even a discount if you are a local. We did a 2 hr pass, which seemed plenty for everyone. It's fairly small with a fenced-in property to help keep the kids safe. I didn't see any large pools for grown-ups, but there is a decent size lazy river with plenty of inner tubes for everyone to use. 2 set of kiddie pools, one for toddlers and another for slightly bigger kids. Fountains, water slides and showers all over that even adults will find a great way to cool off on a hot day. They offer 2 big water slides for bigger kids and adults. One can be done on a single or double tube. Right across the parking lot is a mini boardwalk with good food and burgers. Plenty of outdoor seating. We didn't try the mini golf, bit we did the go carts. That was fun, even if on a small track. They offer single and double seaters so you can bring the little one out for a race. I definitely recommend visiting this spot if you have kids and are looking for a day in the sun without oversized crowds.
Phillip Oliveto — Google review
For 11 (+2 for unlimited thru 5pm), you can't beat the price. Located next to "boardwalk" with ice cream, hand cut fries and Dunkin. Course was in decent shape, some holes challenging which requires straight putting skills, not to many bank shots. Decorative too and not too gaudy.
James N. — Google review
The kids enjoyed the four hours we were here at the water park. There's an extension of the boardwalk nearby where you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee. Our time was spent at the water park only but the golf course and go cart track looks fun. Getting here at the opening is probably a smart move to avoid the crowd later in the day.
Chris M — Google review
Was clean and well staffed. Good snack foods like pizza, fries and ice cream. The go karts were fun. The water park was fun but not a lot of big slides. Lots of splash areas and little slides for the young ones. Looked like a nice mini golf course also, but we did not try it. It is a nice family destination.
Heather Jovenal — Google review
We had a great time at Thunder Lagoon the other day! Use the Sunny Days coupon if you can do multiple days! If not, the daily 2 hour is very reasonable! The staff, managers and facilities are perfect for the kiddos! It is perfect for the 2 hour pass! My kiddos have enjoyed it year after year for 3 years running now. Very convenient, plenty of parking, convenient to the OC bus terminal at 145th, easy to access inland via lighthouse road and plenty of other activities to keep you busy besides the water park.
James Cameron — Google review
They say that people are more likely to share a bad experience than they are a good one. I’m coming here to tell you how awesome of a time myself, my girlfriend, and the kids had! This park was perfect in every way for us. Small, under crowded, and definitely family friendly. We spent two days at four hours each here. The slides are cool but I definitely do not recommend the body slide if your a larger person like myself. My back hurt for a solid hour after from the seams in the slide. The kids befriended a pool attendant named Tim who was super friendly, outgoing, and it was a pleasure to watch him interact with them! I’ve nicknamed him “The Great Tim” and the kids (still) will not shut up about him and are expecting to see him next year. The guy even helped me find my lost wallet. If there is some sort or program in which the company rewards good employees, invests in them for lifeguard training or other local programs, he is assuredly the best candidate you have working there. We went to the boardwalk area. The ice cream was fantastic and so were the tenders and fries. We rode the go karts shortly before we left and if there’s any doubt about the carts holding 300 lbs, put that to rest. Held my own and finished first place. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back in 2022 to check on Tim. Thank you all for being affordable, clean, hospitable, and fun!

The Fenwick Island Lighthouse, located in Delaware, is a popular tourist attraction with an 87-foot tower and a Gothic-style wood-frame keeper's house. The beach is great! There are no crowded areas and plenty of places to have fun. Parking is easy to find.
Originally constructed in 1858 and first lit the following year, Fenwick Island Light is Delaware's tallest lighthouse. The lighthouse is closed to visitors, but the exterior of the structure as well as the surrounding area are easily accessible for viewing and photos.
Ben Kranefeld — Google review
Alright so we showed up at 10am and on google it states they close at 12. However what google did not state was the lighthouse is closed for the season. With that said it’s still a very cute place to visit. The grounds are well taken care of, they even have an amazing garden pumping out all types of veggies. Definitely come out here in the off season and just walk around, take in the views and enjoy it for what it is.
Exit Zero — Google review
Awesome historical reference point. It was actually closed but you can take pictures outside the gate.
Damon Baker — Google review
Really neat nineteenth century lighthouse with lots of interesting history. The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1978 by the US Coast Guard and placed on the National Register of Historic Places a year later. Unfortunately, commercial and residential development over the years has nearly hidden it but thankfully a private nonprofit currently maintains it as a museum. Also located on the grounds is a stone monument that was placed by surveyors in 1750 to mark the Transpeninsular Line separating Delaware and Maryland. Be sure to visit during operating hours.
Timothy Stockdale — Google review
The beach is great! No crowded and a lot places around for having fun. Easy to find parking too. If you to the lighthouse you will be in between to Delaware and Maryland (pretty awesome right?)

This was a really neat experience!!! It was old meets new. A lighthouse in the middle of a neighborhood. Such a beautiful light!!!!
Debbie McDaniel — Google review
I've been to Ocean City, MD many times over the years, and just recently got the chance to visit this lighthouse. Unfortunately they were closed when I got there. But it was still fascinating to see it up close and personal.
Coming Judgement — Google review
Interesting story about the lighthouse, but I was disappointed we weren't able to climb to the top. Legalities understood. Next year, they will have the light keepers cottage renovated.
Angel B-Mitchell — Google review
This is a small lighthouse, but still interesting. I venture to say I probably would havebliked it better if I had visited during the season when it is open. I did not know before visiting that there is also a marker indicating the end of the Maryland/Pennsylvania colonial border.
Russell Murphy — Google review
This lighthouse is a historical gem, which time is nearly passing by. It is strategically located on a survey location from the late 1700s when the colony (now state) boundaries were being drawn. As other people mentioned in their reviews, it now sits 1-block off the main thoroughfare on the north end of Ocean City at the actual border of MD and DE. It is surrounded by a residential area and a trailer park. It is a 30 minute (max) stop to see, explore, and take a photo or two. We did not do the tour, as it was closed when we visited. It is well preserved, and nice if you want see part of this country's history.
Thomas Hornik — Google review
Went late, got beautiful pictures. I have lived here for twenty-five years and passed it a bunch and never stopped. I'm ashamed of myself! Glad I stopped to talk to some wonderful people passing by! 🌻
robyn ferdinand — Google review
I've never been in the lighthouse per se. It is one of my favorite views. We come into Ocean City through route 54 and when I see the lighthouse I know the trip is just about over and vacation is just beginning.

Straightforward seasonal motel on a canal featuring casual rooms, plus an outdoor pool & a sundeck.
This is a hotel that is a really good value for money. Nice owners that were very accommodating, it's within Beach walking distance. Stores within walking distance. This hotel made for a memorable vacation.
Brett Warkoski — Google review
The ladies at check in were welcoming and friendly. The gentleman taking care of maintenance was friendly and chatty. We felt very welcome and safe. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. Room was clean. The beds are not terrible. The mattresses are thin but we got decent nights sleep. Walkable to whatever you want! Great location. It’s an old building but it seems they’re making upgrades. They leave the doors propped open which I presume is to get air circulation and get rid of old smells but was not a concern for us. Pool needed to be skimmed. Overall it was a nice stay and we would definitely be back.
ATB — Google review
Great access to the beach and various dining options within walking distance. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great pool area. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
Dave Coppersmith — Google review
Rip off. Website says free cancelation. When I canceled with plenty of time the lady charged me a $20 processing fee. I had to call after 5 business days with no refund yet to inquire and was told the lady was going to finally process my refund. It took 11 days to see the funds back in my account. I will never stay here with the bad customer service and lies I've experienced.
Rae Bitzel — Google review
Rose was one the sweetest and happiest people I’ve ever met. My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and she made us feel very welcome. Rooms are simple but recently redone- new flooring and paint. We had a front room facing the road and small balcony. Good AC, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Clean bathroom. No elevator so keep that in mind if you have kids. We stayed on the 3rd floor and didn’t mind the steps. Would stay here again.
korryn wollman — Google review
Great spot! Clean and safe. The building is a bit old, but that didn’t bother me at all. It’s important to note that there is no elevator, but there are rooms on the ground floor. The building is a bit humid. Karen was very nice and helpful!
Sara M. — Google review
It is definitely a budget motel. Our room was clean; however it was on the 3rd floor rear. The motel is definitely older even though the rooms have been updated a little. The hallways have no AC, and are warm. There is no elevator, so be careful how heavy your bags are. Also, the balconies on the 3rd floor rear, have no cover over them, so we were constantly dealing with bird feathers flying all over and when it rained, we couldn't sit out there. There are no phones in the room, however, there are instructions they will not be cleaning your room because of health and safety issues, but will provide service if you dial an extension they provide - a little impossible without an inhouse phone. They have small kitchenettes, but if you need dishes or glasses, you'll need to provide your own. It's an okay place for a few days, but I wouldn't spend more than 2 or 3 nights. I was a little concerned there there are no sprinklers in the room and the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. I'm not even sure it was connected. They also prop open the stairway doors which would be an issue should a fire break out. I don't think we'll be staying there again.
Catherine Henry — Google review
First off, Karen up front is the nicest lady. She immediately made us feel welcome and had great information and recommendations. The rooms are comfortable with some nice updates. We stayed on the 3rd floor but climbing the stairs wasn’t a big deal without an elevator. There’s plenty to see in walking distance and more is a short drive away. If Bethany Beach or Ocean City are too expensive, the Fenwick area is more affordable and you’re not missing out on anything because both are close. Would definitely stay with them again!

Seaside Country Store, established in 1969, is a popular stop for both locals and tourists. The store offers an array of beach-themed accessories, decor, and delectable treats like homemade fudge and various candies. In addition to food items, the store also sells bath products, nautical gifts, Christmas decorations, ladies' apparel, and accessories. Visitors appreciate the quaint ambiance of the store's interior and its extensive collection of Christmas ornaments on the top floor.
This is a really nice country store of all those old antiques. I like the section with the fudge and food goods. If I were you this place is definitely worth stopping by.
Vito Centuolo — Google review
I Loved their fudge, Swiss Almond cheese spread, and their amazing selection of home decor/gifts, but I wished I had skipped the $6.99 “gourmet” crackers. They were called Artisan but tasted like nothing. A saltine tastes better. Get their cheese spread but buy your crackers or pretzels elsewhere. All of those products were way overpriced!
Christina Reeder — Google review
Great people who made us feel welcome the moment we walked in the door. We loved that they are dog friendly and allowed us to walk our dog through while shopping. They even gave him a treat! Lots of stuff to look at to purchase as well.
Vic Spinelli — Google review
Great place to visit. They have everything beach related. Great selection of candy and fudge. They also have a nice holiday selection. My favorite is their cheese spreads.
isaac sapp — Google review
A yearly tradition of stopping in here each year I visit the area. It’s a huge, beautiful store filled with anything and everything. One tip: go early in your trip to be able to get some of the wonderful flavored cheese unless you have a way to keep it chilled for your ride home. Can’t wait to stop next year! Bring a quarter for the player piano!
David Roman — Google review
The best fudge I think I’ve ever had! It is their Strawberry Cheesecake flavor and it is absolutely incredible!

The Big Red Barn. An amazing country store in Fenwick Island Delaware that we vist everytime we're at the beach. As soon as you walk through the front door your immediately hit in the face with the smell of fresh fudge, cheese spreads and other homemade foods. If that's not enough to make you venture the rest of the way into the store than maybe the welcoming attitudes of all of the awesome employees will be. Very cool people like Max at the fudge counter who helped us very patiently while we were picking out all of the different kinds of fudge we wanted to try. Also there was Shelby who assisted us at the cheese counter with getting some cheese spreads to take home. Being self proclaimed foodies for our family this place is right up our alley. So many different things to look at, so many different foods to try and buy. It really is "the most unusual store on the shore".

This store has alot of "WOW" factory's. When you think you saw the whole store there was more to see. Will be going back
Aaron Sottolano — Google review
Outstanding store. Has excellent souvenirs and awesome homemade fudge and variable candies all homemade and delicious. Free parking and handicap parking and entrance. Located right off the main highway. Items are very pricey but worth it for the candy but not worth the high prices of souvenirs that you can buy on the beach for half the cost. Enjoyed the antiquity look of the store on the inside and a huge top floor of Christmas ornaments and more.
Roy Newcome — Google review
Very very cute place! Being a Texan, this definitely felt cozy and nostalgic. They have everything from local jams, cheeses, sauces, etc, to themed parts of the store, such as Christmas, Halloween, and ocean vibes. Perfect place for a genuine souvenir.

Going here is a natural part of summer vacation. Staff is always friendly and we love to get snacks to eat while we play games, watch movies, and enjoy Summer. Wide range of jellies, jams, soups, candies, and souvenirs. Fun to go and browse. Note: not open year-round.
Ashley Keisling — Google review
The store was busy late this morning. They have something to take home to remember the beach from clothing to pictures and art. Great selection of candies prepackaged a d buy by the pound. Fudge is made in the store, they were making some this morning. Great place to visit and wonder around, two floors including a Christmas section.

Catch 54 is an upscale waterfront seafood restaurant with delicious dishes and top-notch customer service. The food is a mix of fresh and sustainable seafood, meat, and vegetables cooked to perfection. There's also a cocktail bar with minimalist decor that offers interesting concoctions made with local ingredients. The patio offers stunning views of the river and the wetlands beyond.
We were initially attracted by the location and the scenery, and then were really amazed by the quality food and the extraordinary customer service! The food we got all taste really good, the portions are on the larger side, and the price is quite reasonable! And yes, the view on the patio is absolutely stunning! we had really enjoyed watching the wild duck chasing in the wet land and people canoeing on the river. I’ve got a few dishes and the Happy Hour specials on my “wish list” and will definitely come back when I’m in town again!
Allison Qiu — Google review
We dined here on a Saturday night. The wait time was 45 minutes at 6pm but there was a server attending to drink orders while we waiting outside that was a very nice touch and helped the time go by faster. The biggest downside was that we waited over ten minutes at the table to be greeted. Since we had had some time to look over the menu we ordered our appetizer and entrees at the first greet. Our calamari app came out faster than we were greeted but somehow was overcooked and not very hot. Our entrees came out almost as quickly with little time between courses but both the wedge salad with trout and the blackened tuna daily special were enjoyable. After the initial lag in greeting our server was attentive and pleasant. Overall a nice experience.

Great weekend happy hour. Went with a group of 6 on a Sunday night. Even though it seemed like they might've been a bit short staffed, it did not affect our dinner. The waiter Robbie was great. Was so friendly and so nice. The drinks were good and happy hour menu food was great too. Would definitely recommend!

Went for my birthday dinner because of hearing great things about the food and view. Im so glad I did. The view on the bay is so peaceful and beautiful. I ordered the specials on the menu. Mussels with garlic and white wine which were so tender and delicious. Then lobster which came with the most perfect green beans and fingerling potatoes. My big shout goes to The server Gwen who was so sweet and kind. She said I would get a cheesecake for my birthday. I said No because it would be too depressing to eat it there, especiallyif they would sing. Lol So she wrapped it to go for me with even a birthday candle. Plus the general manager that gave me a gift card for sending my lobster back. It was not because it wasn't good. It was only because they didnt cut it for me. That is outstanding service!! I bought a gift card for my friends because I want to share such a wonderful experience with them. Thank you for everything!! You made my birthday delightful!!

Went for burger night during the off season as a party of three for an earlier dinner. They messed up our order of three burgers with one without onions three times and at the end we gave up correcting them and just had what we got in the end to get out of there. It was two pub burgers and then there 56 burger without onions one, not that hard yet they came out raw and as the wrong burgers. Strangely they did not accept Passports as a form of ID either, it was very strange place that I won’t be going back to unless I want a nice view.

We decided to try another SoDel restaurant, Catch 54, and our experience was exceptional. We arrived for happy hour and got the last 2 seats in the bar. The oyster specials kicked off our culinary delight with buck a shuck Sewansecott from Hog Island, VA...and we REALLY enjoyed the PEI varieties; Lucky Lime and Hurricane Harbor...both salty, plump, clean and soooo good. Next time, we'll jump into any PEI varieties on the menu. They were that good. Next we tried the mussels fra diavlo which did not disappoint! Still hungry, i ordered the fried chicken with mash, farm beans, and bacon gravy...OMG We departed Catch 54 in a happy food coma, full of more love and hope for our species and will return again!

We sat at the downstairs bar for dinner. Nick the bartender was personable and efficient. He made a great Old Fashion and Orange Crush for us. We stared with the crab dip appetizer. For dinner the GF had the fried shrimp and said they were excellent. I actually had the fried Oyster appetizer for dinner. It was a generous portion and excellent. The only criticism was that we were charged $13.00 for one piece of bread pudding. It was good , but not worth $13.00.
Phillip Valle — Google review
The atmosphere is terrific and the bay view is worth the trip. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Had a terrific meal, the crab cake was great, but not the best in the area. The Seafood Gumbo was a cut above. Our cocktails were excellent and quality pours. The restaurant is a pricier affair than others in the area, but felt like it was well worth the outing. I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

This place was suggested to us by our hometown neighbors. They told us they have the best crabcakes in the area. They were not wrong. We were concerned when we did not see them on the normal menu. They are on the daily special menu. The service was excellent from the minute we walked in the door. Our waiter George was top notch. We witnessed him handle a challenging customer next to us which he handled with pure professionalism. The pineapple martini and the pineapple tea were excellent. I really wanted to try the lime pie but we were too stuffed. That gives us another reason to go back.

1st time here because I was catsitting for my sister and she left me a gift card to take our Mom to dinner. Great restaurant with great service & food. I definitely recommend a visit here. I had a mix of VA/MD salty oysters & the salmon. Great presentation & flavor!

Came here on a Saturday night party of 8. The wait was 90 mins around 8pm then 5 mins later my sister talked to another host and the host said 30 min wait for party of 8, not sure if the initial host knew what she was doing or not. I ordered fried jumbo shrimp and it was a 3.8/5 because the batter fell off before you put it in your mouth. The fries are so soft and not crispy at all. Now! The truffle tater tots were next level and super crispy def worth the trying. Calamari was also fanatastic appetizer! The batter on the chicken Chesapeake cutlet was mediocre at best but the chicken was juicy. Key lime pie and the HONEY CREAM CHEESE POUNDCAKE is to die for! Ice cream and warm pound cake was a perfect combo! Server was so awesome and went above and beyond to take care of us! Did little things that was appreciated and normally servers don’t do! 322 for 8 folks!

Crab house
Fenwick Crab House is a popular seafood restaurant in the US state of Maryland that offers fresh, delicious crabs. The attentive staff and beautiful setting make it a great place to enjoy a crab feast or simply relax with friends. Specialties include lobster tail, salmon, and fried soft crab.
The food was VERY good. I got the lunch special shrimp tacos (2), even though it was a little after 2:30; they still allowed me to get the lunch special, which came with a coke and a bag if chips all for $12.95. There were two shrimps on each taco, and they were decent sized. I think a third shrimp on each would have made it perfect, but as is it was still very good! The crab bread bowl appetizer was delicious, as was the double cheeseburger meal, and the softshell crab club. My mother is from out of state and had never had one before, and she was not ready for the entire crab on her sandwich! She loved it, though! Debbie was a quick and efficient server. The bathrooms were nice, and the ladies room had salt scrub for hands, which was amazing and also purchasable. I bought the Key Lime Salt Scrub for our condo bathroom. They also had coconut and cucumber as scents as well. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had eating seafood. Crabs were small, took 45 minutes to get to us, all you can eat limited to corn fried chicken and number 1 baby blue crabs, the waiter did not keep up with our needs had to ask others to track him down for us and the place had maybe 20 people in it with loads of empty tables, I would rather eat seafood back home than at that place again, I had to order extra food just to leave semi full, I ordered more crabs and never got to me so I just asked for my bill and left, I would not recommend this place to anyone

The staff is very friendly. We had a bushel of crabs that were larger then expected and at a great price. they were seasoned perfectly and were very full. We will definitely order again.

Be ready to be patient if you go this summer. They're short-handed as so many places are. We waited quite a while to be served. Our waitress was friendly and helpful even so. Shrimp tacos were very good. Sweet potato fries seemed like they would have been really good but they were lukewarm unfortunately. Many people got the crabs so lots of hammering. Friendly place in general but if you want your food quickly, get take out.

Loved this place! Our waiter (I think his name was Conner) was excellent! My husband had lobster tail, salmon and fried soft crab and he said it was delicious. I had the crab imperial and it was the best I ever had, no joke. No green peppers which I hate in crab imperial. All lump crab meat in a perfect sauce and broiled to perfection. The drinks were also very good. Fresh fruit in their crushes made them soooo refreshing! We went on a Saturday 7/31 about 5:30 and were seated right away. It started to get busier while we were there though so be prepared. We will definitely be back again!

We ate there about two weeks ago and I ordered the Captain's Crab Haul. This was an awesome meal comprised of crab legs, blue crab, shrimp, corn on the cob & fried chicken. A real treat that was more than enough for a seafood lover such as myself. Parking was a little bit of a pain even though we got there before the dinner rush (4:30ish) however when we left the line was long to get a table. Smaller than expected and we sat in the "overflow" room past the bar to the right. Only gripe I have there is wish they would put a TV or something to watch while waiting for our meal which was a little long, I thought. But our waitress was great & came to check on us several times for drink refills while we waited and chatted a little. She was great and that offset the longer time. Great serving, normal price for area & really great tasting seafood food. Fenwick Crab House gets 5 stars from me! P.S. - there is for blue crabs underneath all that food in the picture. Update 8/12/23 Returned for the Fenwick Feast and had another marvelous dinner. Alaskan crab was sweet, blue crabs were medium & heavy, shrimp were spicy with Old Bay, & the fried chicken was great. I really enjoy that combo meal. Love ordered Snow Crab with sides and said they were great also. Staff were friendly & courteous as usual. Oh also try their soup selection as an app, you won't regret it. The first picture was deleted, I am posting the latest picture from our last visit.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My wife and I ordered the Chef's special, 12 Crabs, 2 Fried Chickens, Hush puppies and Corn cob. We were definitely blown away! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Crabs were fresh and seasoned well. Fried chicken were very tasty and crunchy. Hush puppies were moist with subtle sweetness. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. They also offer a exfoliating soap scrub which removes the fishy smell quick and would soften your hands! I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I'm not familiar with the area but this is the only place we could find that served steamed crabs in-house on weekends. It was great! The all you can eat feast included crabs (of course), corn, hush puppies... And Fried Chicken!! Delicious.

Went to Fenwick Crab House last night. We had the misfortune of being treated very poorly by a horribly mean/angry bartender. We never even had a chance to have a drink. We walked in at 5 pm to a totally empty bar … we found out shortly why. We wanted to have a little happy hour and dinner for my husbands birthday. He works at a cool restaurant in Berlin and served today so he was definitely up for a leisurely happy hour and meal. We picked fenwick crab house since we hadn’t been there yet. Although we were the only customers at the bar, we were quite the inconvenience. The “bartender” … we were later told she is the owner’s wife … she asked us if we had the happy hour menu and we did. We asked what the gin was in the martini and this set her off. She became obviously agitated and said “rail gin”. I asked what the rail brand was, since some rail liquor I like and some I don’t. She literally walked away shaking her head, verbally complaining about us and gesturing with her hands. She then held up a bottle from about 30 feet away. Which I couldn’t see. At this point we were so shocked we just stared, jaw dropped, in disbelief. Then she slammed the bottle back into the rail. My hub and I looked at each other and we’re like “ what in the world”. We decided to leave because she was behaving horribly. It escalated and we asked to see the owner because the aggression continued as she said “go drink your $5 martinis somewhere else”. Holy cow! It was crazy town! We asked the hostess to see the owner and was told “He” was in the kitchen. She then told the staff in the bar area to ignore us and told us she was the owner. She then told them to scatter when I asked again for the owner. As locals we have a lot of choices where to dine and find some great spots we enjoy all year around. This will not be one of them. As a family in the business we know how to treat people and this isn’t it. This was bad, really really bad. So disappointed. We ended up down the street at Fins and it was great!!! Uggg so very strange!

Italian restaurant
Mancini's Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant is a great pizzeria with delicious pizzas that are cooked in an 800 degree oven. The pizzas are very authentic and the servings are large so you won't be hungry when you leave. They also give out stickers with the logo of the place on it which was another nice touch. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're ever down in Naples!
I’ve been going to Mancini’s for 20 years and it’s always the first restaurant we go to when we get to Bethany Beach. Gaby is a great host and servers Victor and Andrew are like family. They know your taste! Love the mussels and veal parm but the Caesar salad is exceptional and you can ask for extra anchovies. The bread is also great.

We came to this place when another pizza/Italian joint down the street had us waiting at the door because they "...only had one server" that night. We're really thankful we made the snap decision to turn heel and drive northbound until we found a better gig, because we most certainly did. The wait staff was incredibly personable and patient with my three rambunctious children (brought out chunks of pizza dough for them to play with and they did... quietly... the whole time we sat there, I couldn't believe it.). Service was prompt, and the food was very, very good. Our family had a sampling of nearly every type they had on the menu - salad, pasta, specialty, pizza - and everything was up to our NYer expectations, when it comes to Italian food. Couple notes - They told us the brick oven pizza was 11", but it was a little bigger than that. Not complaining, but if you're wondering how many to get, I'd say the pizza will feed two adults who have already had apps, two or three kids, or one adult who wants a couple cold slices in the fridge when they wake up in the middle of the night, later. -Later in the evening, the lighting is a little dark for my tastes. I know that's the "table in the back" sorta ambience a lot of Italian places go with, I'm just mentioning in case that matters to you. All in all, we were very thankful the place down the street didn't have it's s--- together, because Mancini's was a great stop for my family.

Tip: KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. Check it against your credit card statement. Think it looks high but it must be due to "taxes"? The restaurant is in Delaware. There is no sales tax. We remember what we tipped. Our credit card bill shows we were charged an extra $.99 (our original tip had been about 18%—for a take-out order. And no matter what we left, it wouldn't have ended in .99, ever). I believe this employee changed the two zeros at the end to two nines. Look, I'm not going to call my credit card company over $.99 and I'm not going to out the person—but don't blame the seasonal staff, because this appears to be a long-time employee. I doubt we're the first customers this person has done this to, and the next customer who catches them at it could make a much bigger stink. Why risk it over a lousy $.99? Food wise, it was actually pretty flavorful. I had been interested in trying their other food, but now that I've had this surprise in my credit card statement, it's not likely.

Food was pretty good and our server was excellent. However, the manager is EXTREMELY rude. When we finished our meal, we presented a gift certificate that was several years old but did NOT have an expiration date on it. She did not want to accept the certificate because the manager who signed the gift certificate no longer worked there. Why should that matter? We pointed out that it was a valid gift certificate since it did not have an expiration date on it. She went as far as telling us that we should be ashamed of ourselves for expecting her to accept it. Then she told us that we are no longer welcome at her restaurant. She made a scene in front of other customers. Terrible customer service!

First visit back in a while and it was underwhelming. Limited menu, prices are high ($12 for a side salad with entree) The portions are huge but unnecessary and the cheese pizza was not edible. The waitress noticed and took it away with 1 slice missing with out even asking what was wrong. I have no problem paying $34 for a pasta dish but the ambiance should match the price point. If you like booths, no decor and leftovers this could be the spot for you. Also had to ask for drink refills, never offered more water or to bring bread to the table. Mediocre to poor service. They add a credit card fee to the check which should just be rolled into their cost of doing business and absorbed like most businesses. Overall just go somewhere else if you want a good experience.

Our favorite place. Gabby, the owner, always comes by the table to greet you. Everything we have ever gotten here is fresh, and delicious. They use just the right herbs in each dish. Tonight was their brick oven pizza and gorganzolla salad. Brought home their homemade deserts. A very satisfying experience. Thank you Gabby!

Great local Italian food. Service was excellent. Wasn't a huge fan of the atmosphere but it was my first time there. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. The portion sizes are great, not too big and not too small. Good value for the quality of food for sure.

Decent food, great service. The garlic bread was amazing, but the pizza was a little overloaded and it was missing those big bubbles that brick oven crust gets. It had a good flavor but was dense at the outer edge and paper thin and soggy otherwise.
Ame Draig (Sioranth) — Google review
I do not want to ruin the names of the meals we ate. So, I'll just say they were fantastic. I'll just say the flavor was like the linguini with clam sauce my wife and I look very much forward to having when we return to NJ to visit family. The garlic bread was great. Just had to get another order and couldn't let it cool down. This was a great dinner.

The most expensive bland pizza. This is NOT a proper pizza place.. We ordered 2 pizzas (vegetables and the white one) - the size is small for the price…we paid 40$ for the two relatively small pizzas (about 20$ for 12 inch pizza including taxes). I was surprised by the price but still gave it the benefit of the doubt because they claim it’s brick oven pizza…. It was NoT good! The white pizza has a strong onion smell to it. the vegetable pizza was soggy and had a bland canned tomatoes sauce taste - not fresh, not expected and not worth the money.

Heard about this place from locals and wanted to try it out! Sooo glad we did! The food was amazing and very authentic. You for sure won’t leave here hungry the portions are very big which is so great! Can’t wait to come back and go here again it’s officially a stop we will make each time we are down here now. They also give you a sticker that has the logo of the place on it which was another great plus!

Beet salad with watermelon was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best I’ve had. I had the lasagna which was very good . Not many layers but the sauce is great. The girlfriend had eggplant parmigiana. She was delighted with it. Nice portion size and plenty of flavor, plus a side of pasta. We got a chocolate cannoli for dessert had a taste but were too full to eat. It was pretty darn tasty. Our waiter was a very polished young man.

Just Hooked is a seafood restaurant that features locally sourced seafood entrees. It is well-known for its cioppino, which is a giant seafood dish featuring clams, oysters, and more. The service was good and the atmosphere was clean and fresh.
This is a great spot to grab some seafood for dinner. I had a giant cioppino with clams, oysters, and much more, and it was excellent. And given the location it was really fresh as well. It was my first time ever actually trying clams and oysters and I will say that this dish really gave me a good introduction to them. Service was good and it was all packaged in a nice, clean spot just a couple blocks from the ocean. I'd recommend this spot for anyone in the area looking for fresh seafood.

Definitely a great place to try if you’re willing to spend a bit more. The meal was about $50 plus the taco appetizer (didn’t get it pictured because it was way too good to stop eating!) The pasta was delicious with great flavor. My husband’s fish and chips was “good but not worth $25”. The service was good! There wasn’t an option to call in prior to get a reservation so keep that in mind. It was good, if you’re in the area willing to spend more give it a try.

Love this place. “Family Meal” at Just Hooked is our go to Sunday night spot. Everyone at the table gets the same thing (2 person minimum). Three courses, app, main & dessert - lots of food, very well prepared. I’ve had many dishes and my current favorite is the Cioppino.

In the off season, Just Hooked feels like a neighborhood bar - very relaxed and welcoming even when it is busy. We enjoyed the meatballs, the boom boom shrimp. The tacos were disappointing- great mounds of red onion and cabbage but very little fish.

Food was excellent! Started out with tasty drinks...the Summer Blackberry Mule was delicious. We had Drunken Mussels for our appetizer and it didn't disappoint! My husband said that they should put a straw in there so you can slurp up all the good broth at the bottom! I had the special for the day - the halibut. It was very tasty! And I love cheesy grits! My hubby had the tuna and he finished every bite. A very creative dish with kimchi! Unfortunately, we were too full for coffee or dessert. But if you go, get there early....the bar filled up quickly and by 6 o'clock the place was pretty well packed. I totally recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience!

We went here when they open at 4:30 to avoid large crowds due to Covid. Happy hour was from 4:30-6 and we got the Sangria special which was delicious and had a little cinnamon spice which was different than most sangrias I've had before, and I am picky about my sangria. I had the Cioppino which was incredible. So much fresh seafood and the broth was perfect for dipping the toasted garlic bread in. One of my favorite meals in the OC/Fenwick area. Highly recommend Just Hooked!

Recommended by hotel staff across the street. Glad I went... OMG the food is good. The Poutine is unique in that they use hot malted vinegar instead gravy and it gives it a wonderful tart kick. So damned good and the textures were awesome! The Pork white beans were outrageously good too. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Will return. Many thx!!

The staff and the food are both fantastic. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner - we ate there three times in seven days. Walking distance from Fenwick Shores. The seafoods and breakfast omlets were delicious. Portions are generous...you won't leave hungry.

Breakfast here was pretty good. My omelet was not overcooked, so it was still moist the way I liked it! Potatoes were more like roasted potatoes instead of home fries but very delicious! French toast was crisp on the outside and well done. We all enjoyed our breakfast. Others had chocolate chip pancakes and chipped beef on a biscuit. No complaints from anyone. Just good food!

In our search for a local seafood restaurant, we just happened upon Warren's Station, and we're so glad we did. They have a nice variety of seafood entree's. Their food was delicious, we had the crab cream soup, and the broiled seafood platter. All the seafood was cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely patient, and very friendly. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean, we thought it had just been remodeled, but it is just very well maintained. We'll definitely eat there again the next time we visit the area.

Loved the interior design. Come with a group and their are isolated areas. The food was very, very good. There is something for everyone's taste. The crab soup was "great", according to me and others. The lemon merrang pie was the best. ENJOY!

Older school diner vibe. Were able to seat a party of seven with three kids immediately for Sunday morning breakfast. Service was fast and attentive with lots of options for kids (kids menu, cups, crayons, high chair). We didn't get anything fancy for breakfast (omelettes, eggs, bacon, home fries), but the portions were large and good value (especially the amount of bacon, goodness...) Wished we had been able to try the desserts.

I ended up eating here three times during my stay as it was near my hotel and one of the more affordable options in the area. Each experience was wonderful! I felt welcomed and well taken care of; every single staff member I interacted with was warm and friendly, and even when I had to wait for a table the wait never took long. I felt like a regular after just one visit! The food was delicious. I enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and my egg breakfast, but by far the best thing I tried was the broiled flounder. Super flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I also want to give a special shout out to the roasted green beans, which were some of the tastiest green beans I've ever had at a restaurant. This was a fantastic experience and I will certainly be back next time I'm in the area. Thank you, Warren's Station!

My husband would have given Warren's give stars because he loves a good turkey dinner with naked potatoes. He was so happy. Being near the beach, I wanted fish, and the fish choices are just not very interesting. I got the scallops and although they were prepared properly, it was just a little butter and a little spicing (mostly salt, pepper and maybe paprika?). If you're looking for interesting preparations, pick again. For traditional fare, this may be your place. The wait staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is friendly and there are clearly many people who are regulars. As for the person who recommended the carrot cake, it is homemade, large and very good. But I'm still thinking about the homemade chocolate chip pie I passed up to get it😉 My husband loves the apple-pecan dessert. Addition two days later: got the chocolate chip pecan pie take out... excellent!!
