鼋头渚 is a renowned destination for tourists, located on a peninsula in Lake Tai. The park was established in 1916 and is famous for its stunning cherry blossom trees. Awesome place!! Visited at the right time (mid march) and the cherry blossoms (sakura) were blooming. This place is huge, buy the bus ticket inside if you don't like to walk. The ticket was 90 RMB, very cheap for what you get inside. Bring your photography equipment or drone. I saw at least 5 drones flying over the park.

Excellent lighting !! Don't miss the air cracker show at 8:30 pm. Attached are some photos taken by me !! You just need to beware of going there on weekend, a big crowd will make it even difficult to walk !! Coming weekend will be a good time to witness the blossom.

Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou At West Lake

Mentioned on
Hotel
Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou At West Lake is a luxurious hotel with great facilities, perfect for adults who want to enjoy a relaxing stay in Hangzhou. Facilities include an indoor pool and spa, as well as dining options. The location is ideal for visitors looking to explore the city's attractions.
I like all the hotels under Marriott very much, but the Four Seasons Hotel is always special. I like the restaurant here, the taste is great, especially when you open the window in the room, you can see the Chinese Jiangnan style courtyard. If it is a rainy season , you will have a very special feeling, and the underground parking is very convenient. Except for the outdated facilities in the room, it is impeccable. This is the best hotel next to the West Lake! ! !

This Four Seasons is designed perfectly to the culture of Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a more traditional and conservative city than more international cities, such as Shanghai. The architectural language of this hotel respects that very well. It is situated on the side of Westlake that is more serene and quiet. From the populated tourist side of Westlake, when you look across the lake, you'll see a horizontal row or trees and greenery. The Four Seasons is hidden inside there. This location makes a great tranquil place to relax and get away. We went to the hotel for dinner and the restaurant was exquisite and delicious. Staff is very friendly and professional. Price is on the high side, but it was worth the experience.

Really amazing hotel. Located in a very nice and peaceful location. You can walk around the lake and relax. You can take a boat ride from the private pier, or just drink a cup of tea in the yard with a very nice view.

Dined at Jinsha restaurant. Had the pleasure of meeting the head chef, Mr Wang. Menu was great and the hong shao rou was unforgettable. Beautiful sceneries leading to the restaurant, blending into the picturesque xihu area.

This Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou is my favorite accommodation of all times😍(Room is amazing/Front desk service is incredible) Strolling in between the garden-style like buildings, it feels as if I were living in Qing Dynasty!
