When staying at the Mt. Washington, be sure to visit the cozy Bretton Arms Dining Room. This hidden gem offers a peaceful ambiance in comparison to the main hotel. Each meal is a delightful experience, with complimentary chef's samplings accompanying every dish. For breakfast, indulge in a small strawberry smoothie and finish off with a delicious coconut macaroon for dessert - unexpected treats that enhance your dining pleasure.
My name is shereen tate and my husband Christopher and I were dining together. From the moment we walked in to the Bretton Arms Dining Room we had a first class and fabulous experience. Lovely Sangeeta was our server and was phenomenal! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the ambience of the restaurant was just so lovely! A complimentary app, bread and dessert were lovely little touches to an extraordinary dining experience. My birthday is tomorrow and I was treated with such generosity and kindness by all the staff! The chef, servers, everyone there, worked hard to make this a memorable evening and dining experience. Thank you very much! We were staying at the Omni resort and this by far was the best dining experience we had at the resort. Thank you again!😊

So I must say this place was recommended by Rex from the concierge at Omni and he was right! Very good food! Very good service! Very good atmosphere! The food was a culinary experience to say the least!

We were staying at the Omni mount Washington. We have been to Bretton arms years ago and the food was amazing! This was 8 years ago we were up in the area. We just had to go back and enjoy a meal this year 2024. This time it was just plain awful. 3 stars is generous. We came and got a bottle of wine. It took 3 times for them to get the correct bottle of wine. The manager bragged I made the book of wine. He was borderline disrespectful. Acting like my husband didn’t know what he was talking about when referring to the wine. However he didn’t know what was in his book. It was like the service was serving their first table ever. I had asked if there was peanuts in one of our entrees as my son has a nut allergy(we told them about it ahead of time-thankfully not a severe life threatening allergy). He wound up having a reaction! She never got back to me. The dinner was borderline awful. Surf and turf. Don’t get it. We had much much better meals in the main dining room at the Omni mount Washington. Such a disappointment. We won’t be back. The quality and delicious food years ago was the only reason we came back in 2024. Don’t waste your money!!! I honestly do not know how this place will survive. It was so good years ago. 😞

If your staying at the mt.washington don’t forget to check out the cozy Bretton arms dining experience. It’s a wonderfully kept secret and very quit comparative to the hotel. Every meal we had was amazing truly a wonderful experience. Every meal was accompanied by a complimentary sampling from the chef. At breakfast we had a small strawberry smoothie from the chef and for desert we had a coconut macaroon all as an unexpected treat. You must eat here if your at the mt.washington. The wine menu is also vast and they tell you what wines to pair with your dish for those not as well versed a wine expert.

Hi! Unfortunately giving three stars because we made a 10am reservation and not only couldn’t find this location (we went to Bretton Arms Inn and not a single car was there), but then we also tried to call the Google number and no one picked up :(. Skipped breakfast today :(.

The Main Dining Room at the Omni Mount Washington offers a sophisticated setting to savor seasonal New England cuisine. Recently renovated, the dining room beautifully blends historic charm with modern elegance, featuring high ceilings, stained-glass windows, and a picturesque view. The menu showcases New England-inspired dishes prepared by an award-winning culinary team for breakfast and dinner. While some guests have found the prices high for the quality of food served, others have praised the delicious breakfast buffet and excellent service in this grand dining space.
For my most recent birthday, I couldn't have had anything better. When I say that they serve the best filet mignon here in all of NH, I'm not kidding. It nearly fell apart in my mouth with how tender it was, but wasn't too buttery as some restaurants try to do. Moreover, the salad was an excellent starting option. And the desserts? You can't go wrong with any of the courses here.

Mediocre food and service, but a great dining room. Worth eating at if you’re staying at the hotel and want to take it easy - just keep your expectations low. Our server was very friendly but he smelled horrible - the manager should send him home to shower.
Aiden Stark — Google review
The overall dining experience here was honestly disappointing. The service for our group of 12 was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes just for the drinks to come out. Then we felt we had to order everything fairly fast if we wanted any chance of being in bed before midnight. The appetizers were decent. Mussels, cheese board, etc. The main meals however were just really disappointing. The lobster pot pie was just awful. The risotto was equally as bad. The chicken was pretty good but everything was cold. Dessert was probably the best part. The food came out incredibly slow and our waiter was really sub par. Took him an hour and a half to clear our appetizer dishes. Overall it took our group 3 hours to dine here. If you’re looking for quick service and good food, this Is not the place you want to be. Edit: in addition to the awful dinner, the breakfast was just ok. But $30 per person for a breakfast buffet? Come on that’s pretty bad. No waffles, no French toast, no omelets, no hash browns. Just some sausage pancakes scrambled eggs and fruit?

We've always dine in here whenever we stayed at the main resort or the Lodge, especially breakfast. During our last stay, we felt targeted and discriminated by the manager, Claire, who was speaking with another staff in the lines of "how/what we look like". You cannot say it is the dresscode as we were dressed like everyone else. Of course you wont hear that being said about a non person of color who were wearing pjs and sleeveless/ shorts. I heard them while I was passing by behind them. The audacity of someone in a manager position to speak publicly about their paying guests for them to hear says a lot on how they treat and value their guests. I made this known during our stay and have not heard from any one about this unacceptable and disgraceful behavior.

Amazing views in the restaurant; service second to none. Recommend getting steak sauce on the side for filet (not sure why it doesn't automatically come on the side) as this sauce overpowered an amazing cut of meat. Desserts were next level fantastic and the waitresses were superb.

Breakfast bar is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Get the buffet! You cannot go wrong! Dinner options are very good and change with the season. However, would like to see more options. I was not as impressed with dinner. The dining environment is very nice and open. Huge windows to enjoy the view.

The Main Dining Room is one of the nicest restaurants in New Hampshire and definitely the nicest place to dine within the Omni Mount Washington or the Bretton Woods area. The room has alot of history to it and with that being said, the entire space was just recently renovated and it looks great while still keeping it's historical format. The food and service was excellent as well.

Huge disappointment Service: this is the first restaurant in the USA where I felt like a secondary citizen. The restaurant was 20% full and there were plenty of window tables. I have made a reservation 1 day before, I am paying the same price as all other customers, but because I am not a hotel guest, I cannot sit at the ‘better’ tables. We were offered a tiny table with a wobbling chair. Restaurant of this class should not offer wobbling chairs to the guests. Food: appetizers were fine, but the size of the main dinner dish looked like an appetizer. It was not a child or senior citizen portion. 4 scallops with a garnish is not a dinner entree. One expects a normal portion. I was also surprised at the wines offered. You could find some cheap wines that are known to contain canerogents. This restaurant has some serious problems. I came with my wife for our wedding anniversary and did not want to make a scene, but normally I would have left in the middle of the dinner.

Should've read the reviews. Very expensive for very mediocre food. Beautifully presented and great sauces but the quality of the meats and fish are really bad. That or they completely overcooked my filet...the second I cut into it I knew it wasnt going to be good. Extremely disappointed. But I have to give credit where credit is due. The breakfast buffet is spectacular. Endless options and delicious food.

I had lunch at The Grille, which is situated at the clubhouse of the Omni Mount Washington Resort Golf Club & Nordic Center. The establishment serves satisfying pub fare and despite being quite busy during my visit, I received excellent service from the staff. The wait for food was a bit long, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. I dined outside and admired a breathtaking view of both the mountain and golf course.
Really great food! Would highly recommend

Had lunch at the Grille during our stay at the Omni Mount Washington. This restaurant is located right at the golf course clubhouse. It's solid pub food, the restaurant was very busy when we visited so we waited a while for food but our server was excellent. Definitely had a great experience all things considered.

The Rosebrook Bar, located in the Omni Mount Washington Resort, is a relaxed establishment that offers cocktails, wine, and American cuisine. It boasts a stunning vista of the mountains and ample natural light which contributes to its vibrant ambiance during peak hours. If seating is unavailable at the bar itself, guests can easily find alternative options in the lobby where servers are readily available to take orders. The service is exceptional while patrons can indulge in magnificent views and strong beverages.
Our experience was great. Good atmosphere, nice fireplace, and the waitress was nice and helpful. I would go here again. Drinks were perfect. Ordered a Manhattan and a whiskey sour. They know what they are doing. Definitely stop by
LOGAN HART — Google review
Hummus was gross and sour, carrots were limp, Caesar salad was not too fresh, cheese plate was a joke. I wish I took a photo of the cheese plate. It was two huge triangular uncut pieces of cheese and half of some round cheese with bread cut in the middle. Whoever prepared that needs to go back to the culinary school and learn about presentation. It’s not just about food. It’s about presentation too. $189 for 4 people for lunch including 2 beers and one small wine, excluding tip. Unfortunately, there are not many places to eat at Bretton Woods when ski resort is closed due to high winds.

This is a great place to come hangout. You can chill next to the fire place, on the porch or in the their dining area. Very relaxing and good place to read a book and spend time with someone. You don't have to have a room either. Sometime we just stop by and go to just here and enjoy the luxury on a budget by just getting a tea and something cheap to share. Very fancy atmosphere. During Christmas they decorate too and it's beautiful. Very pleasant staff and food is always of high quality. 2022 Update: Not impressed with the downgrade in tea. Used to be the fancy Tea Forté pyramid tea bags with a fancy tea cup and plate with your own little kettle of hot water. And they just bring you all the sweeteners, sugar, honey, cream, etc. Now you don't get a kettle and you have to ask for stuff like cream or honey and they just bring you some cheap diner mug with some average brand tea you can buy at the grocery store. The labor shortage and inflammation has not been kind to this establishment. Hopefully things improve down the road. We'll be back to find out.

The food was amazing and the service was great! Best of all was the beautiful view overlooking the white mountains! We ordered the charcuterie board and the Washington flatbread which were both excellent as an afternoon snack

I mean, the view is incredible. But besides that, good luck. Incredibly inattentive staff, overwhelmed or disorganized management, slow slow slow service and tons of grumpy customers! Try again Omni. This ain’t working. Keep the view though.

Waited 15 minutes at our table before we were given menus, then waiter didn’t return for another 15 minutes to take our order. We ordered three drinks-one cup of coffee, one glass of iced tea, and one beer. Surprise! We had to wait another 10 minutes for our drinks. Never again.

Fabulous service. Great views. And strong drinks. Mixed with the views and the perfect array of simple appetizers, this quaint little place is possible the beat little nook in the entire resort. Get the Charcuterie board and a double Lemon Drop with a sugar rim.

Rosebrook bar/restaurant is the best place to eat at Omni above the other restaurants. Wish we even got our whole dinner here. Why? Because you get cozy on a spot on the porch and get some nice vacation-feel drinks and some nice light bites while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains and the beautiful resort grounds. We got the rose and hummus which were delicious! We were very pleased! If you enjoyed this review, check out our adventure couple Instagram @andiamoadventure

Agree with this being the best spot to eat at the resort. Grabbed drinks and lunch here several times and it was great. Small menu but everything we tried was top notch. Can get busy on the porch on a nice day and service and get backed up.
Tom Frisinger — Google review
Cute little bar with a small assortment of “bites” to choose from. Menu does not change for dinner time, pretty much same stuff all day. Charcuterie board is very good and the drinks are awesome! Should consider adding more options to the menu, especially, a non-seafood soup during the cold months.

The view can’t be beat, and it’s a very cool vibe you can sit on the back porch of the gigantically large hotel… The Mount, Washington looking out over the mountains… I would not recommend the tater chips with dip we thought they were going to be nacho chips, but they were homemade potato chips… Our beer was delicious though and vibe was good was good

Steak house
Stickney's Restaurant is an elegant steakhouse located within the Omni Mount Washington Resort. It offers a variety of delicious meals that are both traditional and seasonal. The restaurant provides a cozy and atmospheric dining experience underground, making it suitable for lunch, dinner, and drinks. In addition to their mouthwatering main courses, Stickney's also offers a range of appetizers, soups, salads, and delectable New England dishes.
Great service and convenient location. The food was very fresh and tasted delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re at the resort.

Service was really great and friendly. Ordered the Tomahawk Steak which tasted fine, but the sides were disappointing. Ordered asparagus and for $12, the dish was not only little in quantity, but the asparagus were tiny and a bit pathetic looking. Our server promptly offered to add a side of mushroom at no additional cost and even that came out small. Overall, the food was delicious, but I found it very pricey for what you get.

I never like to give a bad review. The view here is absolutely gorgeous. We got to sit outside and we loved it. However, my husband could not eat his fish-and-chips. The fish was way overdone and very greasy. He just ate his French fries. The clam cowder was okay, but not hot. I did have a wonderful grilled chicken sandwich, so maybe it was just a bad day for fried fish!

Our server Peter was amazing, the view is incredible and the food is very good

Ask for outdoor seating. The view from the outdoor seating is unparalleled. Service and the ambiance is fantastic. The food quality seems below par for restaurant of such repute. Kids meal, specifically pasta was not good. I am failing to understand why they don’t use better quality pasta.
Abhijeet Bhat — Google review
For some reason, for such an amazing luxury resort, the food (and food service) were unfortunately disappointing. When prices are high, expectations are high, and that’s why we need to share a few thoughts. We researched all the Google reviews for the restaurants on site, and sadly none of them have outstanding reviews, but we decided to go in with an open mind. We decided to go with Stickney’s for dinner, but I had the hardest time making a reservation. The website emphasizes making reservations, and so I had left a voicemail 1 of the 3 times I tried calling to leave a reservation, and they never got back to me. So we went the day of, and they told us we couldn’t eat at 6:30 since they were booked so we took 6pm. They ended up never having a full house, maybe 50% capacity when we finished dinner at 7:15. We had also asked to outside and the hostess said “no.”…which is fine but we didn’t understand as the tables and chairs were already out there , yet no guests were allowed to sit outside (but they were allowed to sit outside for Rosewood). Okay. So we ordered burgers which were fine and safe to go with, just nothing outstanding whatsoever for a $23 burger. We didn’t feel the flavor was worth the cost, therefore for dining we’d feel 3/5 stars We’d come back again, but only if able to book reservations with more ease and with amenities promised to be open. We did not stay at the hotel so we could not make a reservation ahead of time. We arrived at 4:50 and waited for over an hour for a table to open up in the bar area. The bartender who attended to us was not friendly to me first but after talking to my husband (not knowing that we were together) was super friendly and provided an outstanding service. The food was amazing. We enjoyed our meals very much!

Start off staff kinda didn’t give an F abu us only bc we r like underage but still paying the same amount of cash so??? Whatevs the food was over priced but it was really good so it’s ok. Lowkey got a sad little corner table and it took forever to be served but it’s probs super fun for adults😜😜

Truly now the best restaurant at the Mt. Washington hotel. New menu just debuted in August 2022, lots of excellent steak options and a locally raised pork chop that is supposed to be like the wagyu beef of pork (certainly was the best pork chop I ever had). Also best crab cakes I've had outside of Maryland! Sides are a la carte like a true steakhouse. Best of all are the views (especially with an outside table!), and kids can play on the grassy hill just below the restaurant. We can't wait to be back!
Jennifer Gittzus — Google review
I’m giving it 3 stars overall. My steak was over cooked and way too salty. Prices are very high for the quality. As a counterpoint my wife and son thought their steaks were very good. Service was very good, but we will not be coming back.
Tom Frisinger — Google review
We went for lunch on 8-23, I had the fish and chips! Best I have had in a long time! They were so light and flakey. The tartar sauce was amazing! Not over spiced! Our server Melissa was the bomb!! Talked to us about the hotel and some of the cool things to see. She gave us some tips about Boston, we will be there in the a few weeks! I highly recommend!!
Darin Crowell — Google review
We ate at Stickney’s the evening after the eclipse. The service was great. The food was not. My fish and chips meal was possibly the worst I have ever experienced. It was overcooked. My wife’s lobster roll was just not delicious.
David Blohm — Google review
If the prices were commensurate to the experience then I would be more likely to rate this place higher, but they weren't. The prices are what you'd expect from a high end steakhouse, but that is the only thing that the two have in common. The meal was very expensive, but the wine selections were weak, the decor was dated and the service and food were OK. I mean that earnestly, it was OK. Not good or bad, just OK. I had the pork belly over white beans and my wife had the green pea risotto. Both were average, nothing more. I wouldn't recommend either. We weren't guests of the hotel, and based on this experience probably won't be, so perhaps not being restricted to the area makes a difference. Regardless, we won't return.

My partner and I went to Bretton Woods to celebrate! On our special day, Myles (?) was a fantastic waiter, going above and beyond with his phenomenal service, even refilling my water without me noticing! And of course who can forget the special complimentary surprise, they made sure our experience was beyond extraordinary and made it memorable for life. Unfortunately our experience did not start that well. The day before, we were greeted with a bartender at the front seating area, where he was definitely attentive for the first 3 minutes when he asked for what we wanted to drink and I said I needed more time. In the next 8 minutes, we waited for him to come by to even raising my hands to catch his attention when he was clearly available but did not come by. Then a family of 4 came, to whom he came and served immediately. He then took their orders, went back to the bar to make each of the 4 drinks, and came back to serve, all the while my arm was raised to get his attention. After 10 to 15 minutes of foolishly raising my arm, I wanted to walk out. Why was I wasting my time with this guy who was clearly ignoring me. But to clear any confusions, I went up and asked him to be served, to which he said "I came by earlier and you didn't know what to drink". Despite being taken aback with the attitude, I retorted "yeah, that was 10 or 15 minutes ago". And of course because he had to, god forbid, do his job, came by. And said "what do you want". Forget basic manners, his attitude made it feel as if I was trying to de-escalate the tension despite just wanting a nice steak dinner! And of course, he came by promptly requesting to clear my plate when there was clearly plenty of food left. I don't know if I was racially profiled, but I held it together to not ruin some special moments just because of one ridiculously rude bartender. Regardless, Myles more than made up for it. Thank you Myles, you were a trooper for saving our vibes :) The place itself has great vibes, great food, and great portions! I strongly recommend the location, especially if you're staying at the hotel!

Fish and chips had no flavor, coleslaw was gummy with buckets of paprika. Burger had bacon hard enough to crack teeth. Booth seats have holes, peeling patch tape, broken springs. Staff was nice and views are neat, but better to eat lunch in town separately, then drive up to this hotel to walk the grounds to enjoy the view and history. Eating here is not recommended.

Went for lunch (mid-pm) and it was great choice. Amazing view out on the patio and great food. Portions are huge, we shared 1 app and each had a meal and couldn't finish all the food. Service was great. Somewhat limited options, but I understand it's a lunch menu in a steakhouse.
