Since moving to Japan I try to visit here for the illumination once a year. I recommend going during cherry blossom season because the views are amazing! The themes make it all the more exciting too. I especially enjoyed the Sailor Moon theme. I recommend getting the free pass if you plan on going on multiple rides. It’s an additional ¥900. The next time I visit, I want to try the lodging and hot spring option.

The staff was very friendly and polite. Awesome customer service! But it's too expensive and, if you don't speak japanese, it'll be very hard to understand what is going on/what are you paying. I went there with my husband the last day of the light show, so we waited until it got dark to enjoy the lights and the ferris wheel, but the thing shut down before 7:30pm which was very disappointing. The breakfast was included with the cabin rental (we paid around $55 per person), but it was a very tiny soup, sodas, coffee and bread. If you wanted to add bacon you had to pay an extra $5, so I'd definitely recommend bringing your own food (the cabin had a mini fridge). The muscle monster looked fun! But it was closed around 3 or 4pm, so we weren't able to try it either.

Awarded three major illuminations in Kanto from 2018 to 2022 Comprehensive entries for the 10th Illumillion Awards in 2022. Sagamiko Illumillion, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, is an illumination event where you can enjoy the magnificent view of light harmonized with nature that utilizes the height difference between vast land and slopes using 6.5 million LEDs in the metropolitan area, an hour from the city center. It has evolved every year through the introduction of the latest technology and area renewal, and in 2022, it won the Grand Illumination of Kanto last year. (Second after 2018) and in 2022, it was also elected as the second place in the overall entertainment category for the third consecutive year at the 10th Illumination Awards.

This is a good place for kids adventure park. The mountain view is great especially when you ride the cable car. We arrived around lunch time so we dont have enough time and chance for all the activities, all the rides cut off time is around 5-5:30pm. The food is a little bit pricey inside. I will rate our 1day experience here 7 out of 10.

Came here in nov and there is doraemon theme which is really nice. Park itself is not a really big one but it serves the purpose. The park decorates the theme so beautiful and i would say it must be a lot of effort.

I purchased a whole day pass ticket for 4500 yen. At 15:31 (3:31 PM), I tried to ride some attractions, they did not allow me because the last time I can ride those at 15:30. This made me very frustrated. If I buy a whole day pass, why don't they allow at least up to 5 PM? Overall, the place is good. But I am not happy with the management.

We went there on 19 December, 2021. Beautiful place. Loved it. Some Tips: *Try to bring foods. There is not much variety in foods or availability. Price is also high. * We thought of roaming the park during day time but there is not much to see during day time in late December. However, there are some rides that are only available before 4pm such Muscles Monster. *after evening all rides pass would be best value to see the illumination and also enjoy rides.

One of my favorite winter Illuminations. But if you are not fond of cold weather then late autumn or early spring will be the best time to visit. Even on sunny days evenings can get chilly. Rest assured that you will enjoy the view.. The amusement park is not top of the world but pretty nice to spend the day. The Snow paradise using fake snow was just a joke of snow slides.. The road from Tokyo using a car can get really congested on weekends so manage your time.

Great place to enjoy within a single day. Most recommended for children. We went on a weekend so it was busy. But still you can utilize the day pass. Illumination is the most interesting part. Cable car is free and you can have unlimited rides.

Nissan Heritage Collection

Technology museum
Museums
The Nissan Heritage Collection, located in a nondescript warehouse, showcases the extensive history and evolution of the Nissan brand through approximately 300 cars on display. Visitors must book in advance to access this impressive collection, which includes well-preserved cars from the 1980s to 1990s, motorsport vehicles, and future models. The museum features a variety of Nissan passenger vehicles and race cars derived from passenger models.
If you're a fan of cars then this is a bucket list item. Make sure you book via the Nissan heritage website well in advance as they only allow for small groups.

Amazing collection of Nissan cars . Need to book online prior to going and it comes in both English and Japanese tour guide . The number of cars in the heritage collection is mind blowing. Definitely a must visit if you are into Nissan cars or a motor enthusiast when you are in Tokyo Yokohama area

Was looking forward to go going and made the 2hr long, quite expensive trip out there from Tokyo, but apparently it was closed for the whole week. Nothing in the site or Google said something about this. Call them and make sure they are open before going, end enjoy the cars for me as this is my last day and I won’t get to experience this.

We’ve been planning to visit this place since December 2022 and had trouble making a reservation using their website. Since December 2022 I was trying to make reservations by checking their website every 2 weeks without any luck. Like many others we took a 2 hour trip on the train out there, thinking we could just walk in based on their opening hours listed on google and nothing else indicating that we couldn’t do that. When we got to the gate a nice gentleman had a sign ready which said they are closed to the public and can only let people with reservations inside. We then tried again to make a reservation but couldn’t. A lovely woman then came out and told us that they are fully booked until august 2023 because they are open 1 day a week! As tourists we rely on google to help us get around and plan our travels, the website needs updating and it needs to be clearly written that you can’t get in without a reservation. We are utterly disappointed!

Highly recommend calling in advance to get current hours and to avoid getting turned away. It was very special treat to see some of the rare, experimental cars in this garage! It's a free roam tour so you can go see what you want at your own pace.

The essence of Nissan history. A "must see" place for all the petrolheads. If you have some questions or problems during visit booking (which is a little bit tricky, but mandatory) the customer service is really open to help you. Easy to find, internal private parking. Very suggested.

Fantastic collection of Nissan passenger vehicles (I don't think they got commercial vehicles) and passenger car-derived race cars, if I recall correctly. It starts with a presentation of short movie and introduction of the plant - the museum is located within the Nissan plant. After going thru a few iconic Nissan vehicles in the lobby of the museum, the tour starts once a huge warehouse where the collection resides. There are quite a lot of them, very impressed. I didn't count them but I'd say there are hundreds, I'm certain. The passenger cars were in great condition, the race cars must've actually campaigned in competitions, some had battle scars. IIRC guys were working on some vehicles at a corner. The only downside was, because they crammed in so many cars, it was difficult to get a good look at the cars right around, one can only get close to front, front 3/4 left and right. (Having said that, this is fairly typical in most car museums I've been to) All had signs posted for the model identification and the explanations. One could spend hours but I believe the tour is limited to 90 minutes (or one can spend up to 90 minutes in the museum). They appear to do Japanese language guided tour but no English tour so you are free to roam around as long as you exit the site within 90 minutes. It's free but needs a booking in advance, it can be done online or phone (for this option, probably need to be proficient in Japanese). I had a bit of a problem with online booking but it might have been my PC playing up. Don't take any notice of people complaining that it wasn't open when they just rocked up without a booking - it's no different than reserving a table at a restaurant. One looks at their opening hours, call (or do it online) to make a reservation. There was a staff whose English was quite proficient and was very helpful too. For Nissan enthusiasts, I definitely recommend here, just make sure to do the research and make a booking, don't be a loser and fly halfway around the world without making a reservation then complain. I 'd give 4.5 if I can as the cars are placed together a bit too tight but it's nitpicking, and happy to upgrade to 5 stars (and of course I'm partial to Nissan cars)

A dream museum for every Nissan fan. There are over 350 different models from Nissan. This reflects the automotive history of Nissan, there are all built and racing models and a few special vehicles can be seen here. All tours are in Japanese, but we were very lucky to get a tour in English - it was very detailed, understandable and very friendly. There is also sometimes a show where the engine is turned on by a historic car. On the whole, the tours are too short to see all models exactly, I will go again next time.

Best museum you can get for a car fanatic it is free and it is one hoir from Shibuya. You have to book ahead but it is definetly worth the time. I simply wish they would allow you more time in the museum. Limited to 1h30

Nissan Heritage Collection is a place where you can find all the collection of Nissan Vehicles made from the Very first to Now where the place is situated at the Nissan Zama Plant in Yokohama. Here you’ll get narrating assistances as a service. It’s an Educational site for a vehicle lover and I Highly Recommend! Once when you be at Yokohama spend some time to get here! You’ll fall in love for sure!!

YOU HAVE TO BOOK UPFRONT TO ACCESS. Please visit the link, which is in Japanese & fill up a form to access the Heritage Collection. They do not accept any walk-in. Putting that aside, it's one place that any Nissan Fan must go. The whole 2 hours in the heritage garage was fan-bleeding-tastic, with their collection of the mint conditioned 1980s to 1990s cars, their motorsport collection & their future collection. Of course, most of us here are for the Skyline GT-Rs. Sadly, the car I came to visit wasn't in (The iconic Calsonic GT-R R32), but one of the staff cheer me up by letting me sit in the all new 2017 GT-R. Honestly a review can't describe this place fully, but I urge all petrol-head to make this place a must visit place once in their lifetime.
Sun Ying Lum — Google review
If you are a Nissan fan or even just a Japanese car fan, then this is a must see place! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The guided tour is in Japanese, but there is a English translation service available. Once the guided tour is complete, you are free to look at the cars on your own.

Zama Yatoyama Park is a scenic natural landscape with a pond and wooded areas. The park features a well-maintained circular walking trail around its perimeter, as well as multiple paths that lead down into the valley. Visitors can observe wildlife in the nature preserve along the various trails. Despite being located in the heart of the city, visitors feel removed from urban life while walking amongst trees and other natural elements.
Beautiful park. I come here often. It is a very quiet and heavily wooded park with well maintained paths for jogging, and walking your dog. There are many varieties of birds and it's a popular location for bird-watchers and photography. The park does not allow bicycles. I recommend this park.

(Translated by Google) It is truly a “Yatoyama” natural park. You can hike. Forest walking and jogging are also pleasant. Birds are plentiful and their chirping is lively. Hohokekyo gitchompie pipyo piyopi Healed. Birdwatching observation huts dot the area. A certain place called "Bird Sanctuary" is off-limits. I want to see the Kayanesu, so I'm looking for it, but I haven't found it yet. You can also watch fireflies. Unfortunately, the manners of watching fireflies are quite bad. Many people make a fuss and wear flashlights and smartphones. Covers all the things you shouldn't do to fireflies. It may not perish because there is a no-entry zone. It is fun to walk around the boardwalk. You can experience Satoyama. There are rice fields. You can catch crayfish. Tadpoles are swarming. There are only drink and ice cream vending machines in the park, so it's a good idea to bring some food with you. A park that can be enjoyed in any season.

Very nice circular walking trail around park perimeter. Park is an entire valley, with main trail around the rim. Multiple paths run down into the valley with spots to watch for wildlife in the nature preserve. For much of the trail, is hard to realize you're in the middle of the city, because you're walking down amongst the trees, and the city sites and sounds are cut off.

From around 19:30 on June 14th, I was able to appreciate the fireflies. Yatoyama Park north exit parking lot was crowded, but I was able to park. During the firefly viewing period (from June 1st to the end of June), you can park at the North Exit and East Exit parking lots until 21:00. It's a really nice place, so I want to protect my manners. Thank you very much for all the management.

Nice place for a walk, it's about 2 miles around with some quite steep changes in elevation on well maintained paths. Lots of wildlife to photograph. There's bird hide that you can use. Only a short walk from the nearest train station. Makes for a good morning or afternoon trip away from the city.

Absolutely beautiful place to go walking on a nice day. Park is really well maintained with good walking tracks. Many people walking dogs but no bikes allowed. Recommend taking a picnic lunch as there's plenty of open space and seats available but no places inside the park which sell food. Free entry, two car parks available. Enjoy!

Went on Sunday, June13th around 20:00 at night to see fireflies. There were a few out. There were many people there viewing them as well. There were not great numbers of fireflies but it's also not a big area of grass land and it's within a city so you're not likely to get large numbers of the bugs here. There is a lot of ambient light from the surrounding area however you can still see them flashing around under the trees by the ponds mostly. I didn't see any on the more forested paths.
