Enoshima Shrine is a renowned mountaintop complex featuring three ancient shrines, picturesque grounds, and stunning panoramic views. Dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of wisdom and music, this Shinto shrine is among Japan's most famous. Located just a short walk from Katase-Enoshima Station, it includes Hetsunomiya with its octagonal pavilion enshrining Benzaiten.
Roughly 2 hours by train from Tokyo, Enoshima is a place you need to visit. A lot of elevations when going around, so something to keep in mind. Plenty of shops and places to eat, you can easily spend a whole day there. On the south side there are also several caves worth a visit. Observation tower at the top of the island with a 360 view.

Make sure you cross the famous bridge and visit Enoshima Island and this Shrine. So much to see and do as you move through the maze and surrounding walkways. After you walk across just climb the set of stairs to the top. The streets on the path are filled with delicious food and shops to purchase treats along the way.
Elias Chelala — Google review
Wonderful place to start your Enoshima adventure. You can use the paid escalator or the free stairs to go up.

Absolutely loved it. Went there during enoshima toro The vibe, scenery, food, and all. Tako senbei (octopus pressed rice cracker) was very good. We went there at night so not many restaurants were open but still enjoyed strolling around the island.
Kentaro Mori — Google review
Such a beautiful shrine, I am impressed with the beauty of Enoshima Island. Everything looks straight out of an anime. We enjoy the view since getting off the station, crossing the bridges to the island, and walking through the island. This small island has so many things to do. I came here with my fiancé, we had such a great time!

it's tiring but felt strong (haha) to walk all stairs. you can have some exhibits here.

Enoshima Aquarium, situated near Katase Beach, is a Pacific Ocean and Sagami Bay-themed aquarium showcasing diverse marine life. The concept of the aquarium is centered around "enjoy learning" and offers various programs including a touch pool for up-close encounters with creatures from Sagami Bay. One of its highlights is the "Sagami Bay Zone," featuring a large water tank where approximately 8,000 sardines swim.
One of the best aquariums in the local area. My family always have fun here. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has stopped majority of touch and feel exhibits, but nevertheless it is still a popular place even due the workday.

Amazing place, at first the tickets seemed expensive, but in the end it turned out to be cheap enough for such an experience. Many different locations, English inscriptions everywhere. The animals look healthy, which makes me happy. I saw the dolphin show and diver’s live show. There is a cafe with a beautiful view of the ocean.
Google review
There are so many tank with diverse marine life, including several kind of jelly fish, dolphins, turtle. They also have mini outdoor zoo that have one capybara. Dolphin 🐬 show are interesting and fun. Recommend for the aquarium lover, for me, it is bigger than the one in Osaka. I just bought the ticket at the counter with short waiting line, the reservation is not required. Ticket price for adult is 2500yen.
Gemini Woman — Google review
It was a wonderful experience. Especially in winter to stay indoors and have a good time with toddler. All the touch exhibits were not available due to corona. And there is a beautiful view of the sunset and beach.

This aquarium is near to Katase Higashihama beach and there are many food outlets too nearby. If you have the Enoshima-Kamakura Pass you with get ¥250 discount on the entry ticket. It approximately takes 1.5 hours to take a look around all aquatic animals. And they have a wide variety of it. It would be great to take kids with you!

Enoshima Aquarium is a must-visit destination located in Kanagawa Prefectural Shonan Coast Park for those who are interested in marine life and the Sagami Bay. The exhibition is informative and engaging, and I learned a lot about this beautiful and life-rich coastal area. The main tank is like a large screen showing the ocean floor, and the jellyfish room is well-designed with colorful light effects. It is also a planetarium with regular shows for visitors. The outdoor area is home to a lot of sea turtles, which is a rare sight in aquariums. Their resting area facing the stunning Sagami Bay is a relaxing and perfect spot for enjoying the picturesque view. Unfortunately the Dolphin show stadium was under maintenance during my visit. Overall, Enoshima Aquarium is a good local aquarium for tourists to learn more about the Sagami Bay and for families to enjoy their weekend.
Javin Yam — Google review
One the coolest aquariums in Honshu. They have over 15 exhibits including an outdoor dolphin show. It cost ¥2,500 to enter for an adult. Make sure you check the times for the dolphin shows because the seats fill up quickly. Some of our favorite exhibits include the deep sea tank, the jellyfish hall, the Sagami bay tank and the sea turtle beach. I have been here two times and I highly recommend you visit this aquarium when in Enoshima.
Elias Chelala — Google review
One of the best aquariums with so much varieties of sea creatures while the entrance fees still reasonable. They have many jellyfish types and I didn’t saw anywhere else. The dolphins show is very good and changing regularly.
Mohammed Fatehy — Google review
An absolutely adorable aquarium, the wave fed rock pool was a very interesting site to see, the big tank was breathtaking and the dolphin show was super cute. There were carp feeding areas where a big carp gives you kisses as they eat, chill capybara, basking sea turtles, seals, otters, penguins, various fishes, an astonishing amount of jellyfish and bull shark touching pools. The cafe was nice, there was plenty of souvenirs and an adorable photo op with the Enoshima Aquarium mascot you could take home. 10/10 would splash again.
Kherron 20 — Google review
Happy to have caught their hydrangea event, unfortunately the dolphin show seems to be suspended until 14 July 2023. Overall worth the ticket price.
Faith W — Google review
I went to see the jellyfish and it was a lovely experience, the added turtles, exotic fish and capybara also added to the experience and I had a lovely time. Fully recommend checking it out.
dominic c — Google review
It’s a bit pricey, as far entrance tickets go. But the location (come out after closing to get a glimpse of Fuji if you’re lucky) and the exhibits make up for it. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. Would return
Ash Yusof — Google review
Little bit smaller than expected, but they have wide variety collections that anyone will enjoy. Also the ticket better buy online because on the spot ticket line are quite long (on the weekend). You can check the timeline on their website so you won't miss the dolphin show.
Yuniar Susilo — Google review
Beautiful aquarium, really cool dolphin show included with ticket price. Fun time! Gets a little crowded on weekends!

Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden is a Meiji-era garden that blends Japanese and Western influences, showcasing seasonal blooms that are illuminated during winter nights. Apart from being an ideal place to spend some quality time and enjoy the picturesque views, the garden offers multiple entry options, including a day pass for 1000 yen that gives access to other attractions like the cave. Visitors need to be aware of hawks in the area that may swoop down if they see food in their hands.
You have to pay to enter this garden in addition to the sky needle to go into the sky candle past 5pm. It’s not worth the price. The sky candle is super cool. 100% worth the combined price, I just wish they were sold together not as separate tickets.

Enoshima Island Spa, also known as Enospa, is a popular destination for tourists of all ages. The gender-segregated hot spring baths and various pools make it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation while taking in the beautiful coastal scenery.
Ive been coming here for 18 years, this is the gemmy gods. Super lowkey, amazing views, foods, and experience. I love that its never crowded, always a blessing to visit.

Price has gone up, and service down. Make sure to check the webpage before going to make sure which pools are open, especially between October and March. Or you might end up with less than half the pools open and still have to pay full price… I used to recommend this place because of the nice views of fuji from the infinity pool, the light show (now cancelled), and the cave pool, but recently I couldn’t recommend it anymore…

Great view and place to relax. You can stay in onsen for a few hours. Admission fee is a bit high.

Went here for the spa and it was awesome. They have plenty of options for you to consider from a massage to staying at the spa. They have an infinity pool and rotating spa treatments that are complimentary. You can also rent swimming shorts and bathing suites. Well worth your time after scheduling some time exploring the island grounds! Perfect way to end the day!

Came today to walk the island. We got hungry so came to the Spa restaurant to have lunch. They have a buffet and also a la carts menu. We had the tofu salad and this delicious seafood bouillabaisse. As well as surprisingly OK Japanese sparkling wine. And it’s not at all crowded! Surprise!!

An entire day of relaxation. Get lost in the labrynth. To get down to the caves area by the sea, you need to take a different lift from the second and third floors. We bought the gift pack for 15,000 Yen. It includes two adult tickets, a five pack of healing music and toiletries. Mt. Fuji can be viewed from there on clear days, especially in winter.

Tranquil rooms with bay views in a polished hotel offering a seafood restaurant & a spa area.
(Translated by Google) I used it on a family vacation. I took the plunge and booked the best room, so it was the best long room with an open-air terrace on the top floor. The room was spacious and clean, with a luxurious feel including the furniture, and at the same time it was warm. The downside was that the room was a Western-style room, so as soon as you opened the door you were faced with hardwood flooring, and there was no entrance space or space to put your shoes, but overall I was very satisfied with the room. Since I visited during the New Year holidays, there were many cars and motorcycles with illegally modified mufflers, so it was a bit of a hassle even at night, but this can't be helped as the hotel can't fault it. (These kinds of people want to gather on these islands, piers, parking lots, etc. for no reason.) 。)

Stayed here on the first weekend of December 2022 when the Winter illuminations at Enoshima were happening. Convenient to stay here if you are visiting the winter lights, to avoid having to drive back to your lodgings as the traffic to and from Enoshima tend to be pretty bad. The rooms were modern decor. Could use a bit more counter space in both the living and bath rooms as there's not alot space to put stuff. The room was clean and well lit. All the rooms face the parking lot so could be pretty noisy. During the weekends there were alot of loud exhaust from motorcycles throughout the night and early morning so can be pretty annoying when you are trying to sleep. (personally slept through it but for light sleepers, can be a drag) The shower is pretty relaxing, it's got multiple water faucets that provides a body massage along with a rainfall shower head. i'd give that 6/5 stars. If it wasn't for the illuminations, i probably would have stayed elsewhere. There's not alot of options at Enoshima, if you are looking for a modern stay. Front desk service was really good compared to some of the other reviews that i had read, so quite contrary to past reviews. Didn't try the public baths due to insufficient time, but having to walk from the lodging is a bit inconvenient.

(Translated by Google) ◯Access is good as it is near the Enoshima entrance. ◯The hotel is clean and beautiful ◯I am particular about the shower. ◯Full of water amenities ◯Coffee is authentic and delicious. Tea bags that are a little more expensive ◯Plastic bottled water is provided for each person. ◯Yukata and tabi socks available in the room △The entire building is non-smoking and there is no smoking space. Smoking is only allowed on the rooftop of the bath facility, but it closes at 9:00 pm. Apparently there is a smoking area above the nearby torii gate. △The chair table is located directly below the TV, making it difficult to watch TV. I think it would be better to move the bed closer to the window. ✕The table is too small to place the breakfast box △The view from the window is more of a parking lot than an ocean view. △Even though I have a large hand mirror (placeable type), I can only place it in a low place, so I can't see it from the angle. You can use it by placing it on the window sill and sitting on the floor. △The bath and hotel are far apart, so you have to walk outside. ✕The homepage mainly focuses on bathroom facility information, so even if you want to know the details of the hotel, it is difficult to find it. ✕Unexpectedly, the last admission for the bath is 8:00 p.m. (closes at 9:00) ✕You can only use the bath from check-in time of 15:00 to 21:00 and the next day's check-out time of 11:00, so if you check in late, you will not be able to use it. ✕The free shuttle bus stop is difficult to find. I would like to see a map on the homepage (maybe I just couldn't find it?) Only locals would understand the text explanation. ✕Even though I came by the free shuttle bus, I was waiting to get on the bus to go back the next day, but it never came, so I asked at the front desk and was told that it's not open on Thursdays. I had planned my sightseeing schedule to match my return time, so I wish I had been informed about the bus closures when I checked in. △I didn't use the pool area, but it seems more substantial than the hot spring facility. The hot spring area includes a high temperature bath, medium temperature bath, low temperature carbonated bath, sauna, and cold bath. There is no open-air bath. I felt like the service was not worth the high price (T_T) The hotel was good so I hope it improves.

(Translated by Google) The room is really beautiful. We had breakfast overlooking the sea, and the bath was spacious and very nice. However, it's a bit complicated. Disappointing point Reception is at the Island Spa on the right as soon as you enter the island, and you can leave your luggage if you have it. They will move your luggage to the Enoshima hotel where you will be staying overnight. From there, you need to walk 2 minutes to Enoshima Hotel. You cannot enter the Enoshima Hotel building without a card key. Probably no staff. *Check-in, check-out, bath, breakfast, and luggage storage services will be performed at Island Spa. (Did you write that when you made the online reservation? Maybe you just skipped it?) Do you offer luggage storage service in the morning? When I called the contact number, they said, ``This is Island Spa. 'Isn't Ekko's phone from the Enoshima Hotel?' "This is an island spa, but please come here for reception." ? ? ,,, (I don't need much explanation) arrival. ``I'll keep your luggage.'' Was it okay to stay at Enoshima Hotel today? ” “Yes” “Please write your name etc. on this receipt.” It's not time to check in, so please come again.'' ? ? I can't stop. I know it's not check-in time, but it's different from Enoshima Hotel, so why are you leaving your luggage here? what's this? ? That's what it said. After walking around Enoshima, I returned to the island spa and checked in as instructed. At that time, a male staff member took care of me, and I was asked, ``The whole time?'' ? So, he noticed this and politely explained, ``I apologize for being rude this morning.'' I felt kind of sorry. I finally understood and moved to the hotel where I would sleep. I put on my shoes again and walk to the island spa to take a bath. It was a pain because I was tired from walking. I woke up in the morning, put on my shoes again and walked to the island spa to eat breakfast. This was also a pain. It was a hotel that had both good and bad aspects. The room was still new and clean, and there were no unpleasant odors. It was very quiet probably because it was a weekday. Check-in, baths, pool, meals, etc. are all located in the main building. The accommodation building is a hotel. You will have to change your shoes and exchange your special key with the front desk each time. Personally, I have the impression that all the keys are interlocked and the mechanism is unavoidable, but I wish they would make it easier to understand and tell people to always go to the front desk. The view from the roof of the main building is spectacular. The hotel is new and clean, and there are no major inconveniences. If you come to Enoshima, this is a hotel you can't go wrong with. We went on weekday at afternoon so there is not very crowded. We ordered an egg benedict with salmon and avocado, cheese omelet and strawberry pancake as dessert. The portion is large and delicious, the roasted potatoes are also attractive and yummy. The cream of pancake tasted like fresh milk and was not greasy, the strawberries were very fresh too.

I love eating here after spending a day on the beach. The egg benedicts are very tasty, and the huge pancake desserts are delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive too.

Awful. Maybe too many tourists and they don’t expect any return customers. We ordered Eggs Benedict and blueberry waffle for breakfast. They offered me to choose grilled potatoes or French fries to go with the Eggs Benedict. The grilled potatoes was the saltiest and softest form of potato I had ever put in my mouth. After the first bite, I told the waiter that the flavours are not right and asked for the potatoes to be replaced. He said the flavours can’t be changed in a rough manner. The sorry was not sincere at all. So, I just finished the Eggs Benedict which tasted normal but not impressive. The blueberry waffle was another disappointment. The waffle was poured over blueberry sauce and sweetened blueberries on top when served. However, the blueberry sauce went straight into the centre of the waffle so the texture was like a shoe sole. The waiters don’t seem to pass on customer feedback to the kitchen and stayed away from our table. Even though there long queues in other branches the food is overrated. Literally just some ‘eggs n some not very nice things’.

It seems no matter what kind of breakfast food you are craving you can find it here. From the Eggs Benedict to the pancakes a plenty this place offers an unforgettable experience. The staff is great and attentive. Fresh coffee and great juice selection.

I love eggs and when I saw this restaurant I pinned it immediately on my Maps and went there for dinner. They also have vegetarian options available, which is great! I had a vegetarian Eggs Benedict with potatoes and a vegetarian omelette with toast. The Eggs Benedict was great and so were the potatoes. Good size, well cooked, well balanced flavours. The omelette, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing as I found it pretty tasteless - too much butter, it covered all the other flavours. I also tried an Açai and Yogurt smoothie, which was amazing. Not too sweet.

Italian restaurant
iL Chianti Beach is a beachside Italian restaurant that offers high-quality food at a slightly higher price point. The menu includes delicious pasta and pizza dishes, with prices around 1600 yen per dish. While the wait for a table can be long, the food is worth it, especially if you're not on a tight budget. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, offering a children's menu and accommodating young diners with high chairs.
This was a great Italian restaurant located right by the water. It has plenty of seats so it’s suitable for a large group. Do be aware that it can get quite busy so you might have to wait awhile to be seated. The food was great and reasonably priced and I was very satisfied with the portion sizes. I love the atmosphere and the restaurant staff were very friendly. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely worth the wait.

Good food but a little pricey for your average person. If you don’t care about price, the quality of food is great, so munch away! The food is clearly better than your average restaurant where you pay around 1000 yen. The price for pasta and pizza is around 1600 yen per dish and you can taste the difference. They have a kids menu and the pasta is around 660 yen and the kids liked it, but maybe not enough for big eaters. The one thing is the wait was pretty long to get a seat. We came at 11:30 but had to wait until 13:00 or so to finally get seated. Also, you can park at the big parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. If you spend over 2000 yen you can park there for two hours. Great food and it is a restaurant that I think it would be great for dates or special occasions.

Soft shell crab was amazing, the seasoning was a little thick, but goes well with beer. The pizza is made by their brick oven, a nice thing to see in a restaurant you jumped in without knowing. One of the pizza was too oily from when it got served. Removing one star.
yu takahashi — Google review
Location wise very nice, especially if weather is neither too hot or cold, try to get a seat outside on the terrace. Food wise, everything was okay, antipasti especially Italian salad and Caprese really nice for cheese fans. Main dish „today‘s gratin“ was good. „Prosciutto Pizza con Ruccola“ was okay, but definitely the weakest dish. I‘d in general not recommend the pizza dishes to any European person that is used to Italian original 😂 Price was on the average side for Japan, in Italy you‘d definitely think it’s expensive though. All in all, would come again, maybe even have similar starter, but definitely no more pizza.
Nico Kogler — Google review
A very nice restaurant right next to the beach. We sat on the terrace. We had some sea food pasta, a four cheese pizza and the soft shell crab, all tasted really good. The pasta was with very simple but tasty tomato sauce and the pizza had delicious blue cheese bites. The soft shell crab was a perfect appetizer. It is a bit expensive though.

Visited in a regular Sunday! Maybe because it was dinner time, we had to wait 45 minutes... But after eating, I can say it was worth the wait. Staff: not super friendly but they did things quick and accurately. I never had to ask for anything twice (which sadly happens at many restaurants) Baby/kids friendly: allowed us to leave the stroller at the entrance, prepared high chair for our son (2yo). Food: great! I don't have fancy words to express it but it was great! Price: not bad. 1 drink each, 6 dishes shared with 3 people 4000 yen (40 bucks) each. Food was more than enough that towards the end... We thought we might not be able to finish them all!

Good Italian place by the water. I come here for the pasta and softshell crab. It’s not easy to find a restaurant in Japan that serves softshell crab. Drinks are pricy.

Nice sunset view, could be better with cleaner windows. poor taste and service, we tried the signature dishes, pasta, pizza and plenty of veggies. it was too oily and salty, Caesar salad was terrible couldn’t finish the meal. Bill was a lightly overpriced considering the quality.

We had a very good time in the restaurant. It had variety of dishes and they were all delicious. We ate in the terrace seats and the view was stunning. You have to be mindful that certain dishes may be sold out based on popularity.

Seafood donburi restaurant
Tobiccho is a popular seafood restaurant in Enoshima known for its incredibly fresh dishes made with rice and whitefish caught on the same day. Even during the closed fishing season, they serve freshly boiled whitefish. The friendly English-speaking staff make it a great option for non-Japanese speakers, and its convenient afternoon opening hours make it an ideal choice for visitors exploring the island. Additionally, their cheese bread is highly recommended as a takeaway treat.
white bait raw/boiled with tuna “salad” sort of, it was super interesting and a lovely new dish to try. wasn’t too salty like some other whitebait dishes I’ve tried. no queue at all, with a nice view of the sea…sashimi was super fresh too. waiters spoke English, the whitebait bread was surprisingly really good
The Eating Shrimp — Google review
A place to enjoy nice and typical food there. Whitebait rice with tampura was really really good. Love the crunchy bite from the tampura and the smooth and rich texture from the whitebait. The portion was huge even for a normal guy. I could barely finish my bowl. We ordered 2 meals and left like half bowl of rice. Recommend to share a meal for 2 persons if you're not big eaters.

As expected of this popular restaurant, we had to wait around 2 hours to get seated. Luckily, they have a ticket system so you don't have to wait around the restaurant and can explore the island in the meantime. The shirasu was good (including the raw shirasu), but not sure why it is so hyped. You probably could get the same quality at a nearby restaurant without waiting as long.
Bryan Cheng — Google review
Amazing shirasu dishes served! We had both tempura and boiled versions and both were so delicious. Tempura was lightly coated w batter and fried to perfection. Their seafood ingredients were very fresh too. I am already craving for it as I’m penning down this review!

Fresh food, thoughtful staff, and a great location. The food was delicious, the crokke chowder and the fried octopus was great too. The service was quick. This is a must if you are visiting Enoshima! Only draw back was maybe not enough rice in the bowl.

This is my fav seafood restaurant in Enoshima. They got waiter who is very friendly and speaks English fluently which makes the visit easier for non Japanese speakers. The food we ordered was awesome and all other things looks awesome. Since Enoshima doesn’t have many places open later in the evening, this place works out perfect for afternoon island visitor like me. I took the cheese bread home and that was good too. Highly recommended.

Kokuya Chogoten is a renowned sushi restaurant in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, known for its traditional red rice sushi. The restaurant has several branches in the area, each offering a slightly varied menu. Over the years, it has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike. (Translated by Google) This is my first visit in a long time♪ I ordered a large bowl of Chinese rice bowl, but the amount was too small😭 I was surprised because I have been going there for decades 🫢 The kitchen said they were able to make a large serving, so I guess that's not a mistake 😭 I think it was even above the letters on the plate before~⁉️ There wasn't much rice or toppings, and the toppings were so few that you could see through the rice 😅 So I added half a cup of rice along the way, but I was in the middle of eating it so I don't have a photo. Even though it was half rice, it came with soup and zha cai, and it was nice in terms of taste as well. I really like the taste, including the soup, but the quantity is a bit small. I was quite surprised💢 The other day, I received Sanmamen at another restaurant in the same chain, but I felt there were too few ingredients. When I was younger, I was satisfied with ordering large portions from the Coco series, but now that I'm middle-aged, I can definitely eat less, but I guess I don't feel full. After all, the elderly people around me are also ordering multiple sets of drinks, noodles, and set meals. The slender guy also had a second helping of rice 👀 Some affiliated stores do not sell set meals, a la carte dishes, fried rice, and Chinese bowls, so you can find them at some rare stores 👍 The Fujisawa Station basement store only sells noodles. How about noodles and rice this time? It's a set meal. The staff's response and cooking speed are very nice and I feel comfortable 👍 I remember when this place was in front of the railroad crossing. I was really satisfied with everything except the quantity ♪ Thank you for the meal 😋 (Original)

(Translated by Google) It was written about Fujisawa's soul food, so it seems to be a restaurant that is loved by the locals, and the impression is that the restaurant has many regular customers. From the perspective of the people of Yokosuka, it seems that the taste is light and a little too light, so I brought it there and combined it with medium-thick noodles that are close to the family for soy sauce ramen, so the texture of the noodles is strong and the soup The pull-up was weak, and I felt like I was tired of eating it on the way, so I liked the char siu. I only eat soy sauce ramen, so it feels terrible to evaluate it, but I think it's a community-based taste because it definitely seems to be received locally.

(Translated by Google) I remember hearing from my mother that there used to be sushi in the past, and that red rice was used for rice. I once heard from my grandfather that there used to be people who came all the way from far away to eat there. Several decades ago, after the store was newly built due to a gas explosion in the neighborhood, the taste declined for a while, and I didn't use the Chogo store and only went to the Fujisawa store. A few years ago, I went to the Chogo store for the first time in a while, and when I temporarily returned to Japan, I started going there. I like cheap yakisoba rather than expensive ones. Since I can remember, when I eat ramen and yakisoba elsewhere, the standard of delicious taste is compared to Kokuya. Enoshima Koya is a popular restaurant located just a 5-minute walk from Katase Enoshima Station on the Odakyu Enoshima Line. The cozy, wood-paneled room and sun terrace offer stunning sea views while you indulge in fresh seafood, sashimi, and fish-topped rice bowls.
Morning breakfast is served from 8 AM. People queue at least from 7:45. The locals highly recommend this place, so I had to try it. :+) It's definitely one rank above others. The fish flakes are grated in front of your eyes from the fish. Ambiente is nice, staff is friendly.

A posh yet authentic Japanese izakaya. The food is just amazing, everything is tasty especially the red bream rice is tempting. Probably each potion is not so big, so if you come with more than 4people, then you need to order at least 2 potions of each which is a little pricey... But, overall I always have a good experience here.

Having been in Japan for 3 weeks, this is the best meal I've had. The waitress was kind to translate the daily specials and then I went for some sashimi for appetizer, their raw fish rice bowl for main, and matcha ice cream for dessert. All the dishes were excellent. Moreover, I found the price to be great too. I paid 4 thousand yen for the 3 courses and a beer. The atmosphere is also great, I was seated at the kitchen bar counter, so could watch the chefs work their magic.
