Best pizza EVER EVER… even in Italy they were not that good! the spaghetti with lobster are also amazing. Prices are really reasonable. Perfect spot for lunch and dinner. A beautiful place with very nice people, handled by a great Italian woman I recommand this restaurant 100%!

Very friendly service and excellent pizza. Also very nice appetizers. Plenty of different dishes to choose from on the menu. Also for vegetarians. Mango milk shake is a joke though - you really need to work on that. Plenty of space and you can sit inside or outside with a nice beach view. We have visited only restaurant - not the bungalows.

Can only say an Excellent beach front place to stay. Staff friendly, excellent food and decent choice of menu. Rooms really clean and have fans and full mosquito nets floor to ceiling. Also well kept and secure with full time night security. Well priced and would recommend. Sunbeds and tables on beach front to Walk in and have a pizza or beer etc. Even if you're not staying and just walking the beach etc.

Best pizza hands down we had in Tanzania or Zanzibar. Rivaled anything we can get in US in my opinion. True wood fired pizza. We had the Billy with added green olives and Paolo. All fresh and quality ingredients. Excellent salami and grilled vegetables! We called and ordered to have delivered and it was delivered as promised in 20 minutes at a very fair price. Each time I am in Zanzibar, I would come here for a drink. The staff are quite professional and the pizza is great. On some days there was a live band, playing music from different cultures, something which I like.

Worst food ever. Portions small. If the owner is italian shame for food. Brusheta was tragedy- toast with no oil, plane tomato. Do they know the basil at all? Chiken in wine sauce realy is hard dry peace with a some sort of flour mixture. Small rock lobster looked like it was dead some days ago. And all salads is just plane carrots with little bit of iceberg. Drinks almost no alcohol inside. There are lot of nice places to eat around this area but this one disaster!!!

Great food, lovely people, amazing cocktails! Happy hour at wednesday, cocktails 5000 off. I recommend the mudslide and the aye colada. Live band and acrobatics on friday evenings. Lovely atmosphere. Great tastefull pizza's. The avocado smoothy is to die for! Just go here, sit back, enjoy all the ovely foods and cocktails, enjoy the music and not to forget, the lovely staff.

Great spot for some pizzas. Really good value and location on the beach. Nice area, and we walked along the beach from our accommodation to here at night and it was pretty safe and quiet (Christmas Eve). Service was great and plenty of options for food and drink.

We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we could stay for another week. The rooms are very fresh and modern. Everyday when waking up, we were excited for the breakfast that was absolutely delicious, it's also a great spot to have a lunch between activities! Arriving to Bahari after 2 weeks of backpacking was just delightful as we had the possibility to wash all our clothes and have a nice shower. The personell is very professional and they don't mind chatting for a little while about anything. They greeted us with a big smile every time they saw us and asked us about our day. Stefania, the owner, is also a gem and takes very good care of everybody here. In front of the hotel are some fishermen doing spontaneous tours to the reef and/or sandbank. Ask arount for captain Madadi and everybody knows who it is! A great place to stay as It's also close to Paje but way more calmer.

Didn’t eat there but saw the guys from the restaurant dumping there rubbish (beer bottles, glass, plastic wrapping, etc.) into the ocean after finishing the shift at night. We screamed at them but they didn’t seem to care… can’t believe that people still do this especially infront of their own establishment and in a place where kids play everyday.

In my opinion, this place is ridiculous! They cannot cook meal properly. They brought “seafood salad” with 3 peace of seafood. Octopus with coconut sauce was a very strict and they forgot to bring me salad (which was in that menu with octopus). Staff don’t help me with that situation and owner didn’t want to speak. I think your business cannot grow if you don’t want to do anything with that.

This small lodge is absolutely amazing. The location is wonderful, straight on the beach of Jambiani. The A/C in the room is working properly and all the property is well mantained. The breakfast is very good and I enjoyed a lot also the restaurant. Well done!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Peter Pan Beach Lodge in Jambiani, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The lodge was comfortable and cozy. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, and hot water. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The lodge's location was fantastic, situated near the beach with easy access to the stunning shores of Jambiani. The lodge's restaurant offered delicious meals with a good variety of options, including both local and Italian dishes. The food was well-prepared, flavorful, and served in a lovely setting overlooking the ocean. The presence of a powerful generator was incredibly useful because of many power cuts that afflict Zanzibar. Well done guys!

I do not recommend it. They do care only about their 'premium' guests. If you order expensive wines, seafood etc., then you gonna be served. If you are a normal client who wants to eat something good, then expect huge delays without any notice. We had to wait more than an hour for our meals without any sorry. After 40 minutes, they insolently asked if we'd like to order more juices. What a shame! They should have provided us at least with some drinks due to extended waiting time. No. Nothing. Finally, after 1 h I demanded some water for us just to stay alive. The waitress who cared only about aforementioned 'premium' guests called for a manager. He came up to us with an ironic smile on his face, trying to find an excuse that they are busy due to their hotel guests. Come on! This is a beach bar. We do not care about your hotel located somewhere well behind your restaurant. Just to be clear, we could find it hakuna matata provided it's a cheap local restaurant which is not. You try to resemble European standards. If so, you must treat your customers in that way. There were other people iritated by the very same thing. When we finally finished our meals, the waitress was ostentatiously counting the money right in front of us what we found pretty humiliating. Worst expirence during our stay.

We were vastly overcharged for drinks and the staff refused to even consider remedying it The food was awful - small portions & shocking quality. Out of our large group one person was semi happy. We were there for about 3.5 hours and the waiter came over -once- to check on us, every other time we wanted a drink we had to go find him There was septic overflow in the passage to the bathroom that was absolutely rank Foul establishment

Dropped in for lunch twice. Had coconut octopus one day and octopus burger another and the passion fruit cheesecake. It was all great. (But the cheesecake was a bit over priced but tasty). A nice place to chill out on the beach. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

From the first step, we felted very welcome here. Very positive and friendly environment. Staff is kind and attentive to the customer. The food was delicious! Fish and octopus were cooked perfectly. Additionally, we had mocktail and smoothie, and we paid 70k, which is a very normal price for what you get. I think we will come back here again :)

Amazing bar with an incredible pool. Piña colada and onion rings were really good. Really a wonderful place to chill. They also have bungalows and it seemed like a great place to accomodate.

Great location directly at the beach. Pizza was good, not the best I had in Zanzibar but alright. Onion rings were good. My order took a while but it was also quite busy. They have WiFi. Service was good. Worth a visit. Paying with card comes with a 5% fee (which most of the restaurants in Zanzibar do).

Lost Soles Bar on Zanzibar is hands down the most “sole-ful” bar I’ve been to on Zanzibar! From the moment I stepped in, it felt like my feet were in for an adventure they never expected. The friendly staff (Muna) had me toe-tally entertained throughout the evening, and the ambience was so catchy, I couldn’t help but tap my foot to the beat of the music! Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh my cod! The flavors danced around my taste buds like a choreographed ballet. Their menu is fin-tastic, offering a variety of dishes that will make your taste buds do the samba. And the cocktails? Well, be prepared to bid farewell to your soles, because those drinks are something else! They have concoctions that will whisk you away on a beachy vacation, even if you’re just sitting at the bar. But here’s a word of caution: once you sip on their mixological masterpieces, you might find yourself on cloud nine, with your feet floating above ground. It’s like they’ve found the secret recipe for levitation! Don’t worry, though, they won’t leave you stranded. As soon as you walk into Lost Souls you are welcomed in by the warm and friendly team who make you feel at home. I came here to eat and get a refreshing drink - the cocktails are amazing and taste very fresh. The food is even better as they specialise in fresh fish and seafood and is prepared with care and love. 10/10 for the team. Delicious food and drinks cheaper than most beachfront restaurants in Jambiani. Great atmosphere, very laid back. The burger was awesome (and large), the octopus was also very good and flavourful.

This place was highly recommended and we went thinking it was an amazing restaurant. But, the other reviewers seem to be playing a game on the next visitor. The food was substandard; the calamari was over cooked, fried fish was fresh but not tasty and avocado salad was bitter due to the fruit not being ripe.

The food is delicious. Their crusted fish is literally the best thing that I have eaten in Zanzibar - though considering the price I would recommend trying it in nearby Safi Restaurant where it is almost as good as here but for half of Fadhil price, and Safi atmosphere is better as well. Excellent curry - my girlfriend said that it was the best curry that she had ever eaten. I understand negative opinions about the atmosphere - the place is located in rooms where they surely kept goats in the past. Therefore certainly you will experience unpleasant smells.

Very tasty local food, this was our favourite place in Zanzibar. I am not a seafood lover, but here I ate two times the cigal (rock/slipper lobster). Also the staff was very friendly. ❤

We loved our dinner at Fadhil’s. It is delicious, fresh local food served with a smile. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge! I had the peanut crusted fish which was so good and unlike anything I’ve tried before. We didn’t have to wait long for our food but we did go earlier and were the only people there when we ordered. The restaurant feels like it’s in someone’s front room which for us just added to the charm of it. Also just a heads up that it’s cash only and they don’t serve alcohol.

One of my best discovery in Zanzibar 💕 This restaurant was just next to our hotel and we went there several times. The vibe during day is so cute and authentic with nice naive paintings on the wall, sand as a ground. A local family is running the restaurant and they are such nice people. My favorites dishes were the cigale and the prawns with lemon and garlic. Go there it will not disappoint you.

The best seafood I've ever eaten. The lobster was delicious! We were staying in Jambiani, we decided to walk to this place. The restaurant itself totally reflects the vibe of the nearby villages we passed through. The place itself looks very unassuming, but the food is delicious and the prices are really acceptable. Do not judge a book by its cover. For all of the fans of seafood and local cousine I highly recommend this place!

Been coming to Zanzibar for years and discovered Fadhil’s on our first trip. Almost the only place we eat when we come. Amazing fresh food, amazing prices and a friendly family atmosphere.

Don't let the interior scare you, this place is a gem, we tried a lot of food from the menu, they are all fresh and incredibly tasty and delicious. The wait time is a bit longer compared to the western standard, but this is usual in thr area. Price is very affordable, and the portions are big enough.

We had lunch at Lustania. The place is cozy, close to the beach and surrounded by locals houses so you can see how life goes from there. They price is very fine and we really enjoyed our meal.

I thought it will be better food and cheaper than the hotel. Definitely not. Very small quantities. Don’t take the pasta, it is a joke.

Walking around Jambiani we found this little restaurant with a very nice outdoor seating area. We ordered coconut fish and grilled chicken and everything was very well cooked and tasty, especially the fish dish. Would definitely recommend to everyone visiting Jambiani.

Very good local food. We tried the local "buffet" for 10$ each. Good food and well prepared. We reserved a day in advance, which is recommended so the owner has time to prepare the food. Special seafood was sadly not available, because the fishers did not arrive in time (they have no cooling, everything is fresh).
