There is a cartel of illegal people sounding legal. PEOPLE GOT FOOLED. Cars have a GPS to track you. Secondly, the hotels also have the same cartel. They control your actions. It's the only place where a tourist can be controlled or they kick you out. Google and other websites show pics of beautiful beaches, but the place overall is extremely poor and unsafe. The road lanes are extremely narrow , and cars can fall in ditches. When one explains how sneaky they are, they respond it's like that anywhere in the world. That's incorrect. It's cultural here. We travel globally almost on a full-time basis. This place is really bad. Safe yourselves from corruption experiences. You will not be happy.

The best place to chill, have a nice time with friends and family. With the bowling, indoor football, 6 hall cinema theatre, comedy club showcase, shops from super cheap to luxury and finally a food court with food from all other the world. Bagatelle is definitely the place to be.

Great shopping centre, lots of South African shops, best ones are Food Lovers Market, however they do not have a food island but can get any South African product on request which is a plus and also the Body Shop.

Nice view around this mall. Must visit and have a sit at food court with various options to taste. Dint shop anything as clothing was looking very costlier than India. Otherwise good to go and have fun.

I am told it is the largest mall in Mauritius. In one week, I visited this place about 5 times for different reasons, but topmost was the coffee and bubble tea options at Cafe Lux. They have an impressive assortment of global and regional brands, both in retail and in food. Children will also have a nice time in the mall, as there are several play spots. The fountain right in front of Ocean Basket seems a favourite for kids during weekends, especially early evenings when the water comes on.

Lovely mall with a very nice play area for kids. The play area(Doodland) is inside the mall and is very reasonably priced. My 4 year old enjoyed it, especially the pretend play section. The shops inside the mall have a good variety. Some well known international brands are available as well as some local brands. Prices vary according to your budget. There is also a cinema and some lovely cafes and restaurants. Most of the restaurants are all situated together so it's a good idea to walk around first before picking your spot, unless you know exactly where you want to eat. I was very happy to find a Spur which was very nice to visit. Food was tasty, but the service was quite slow. Parking is good with lots of options and requires no payment. Overall, a good experience.

A decent shopping mall that has a variety of brands including international and local. The mall is supported with hawker stalls, supermarket, a cinema, a food court and more. The only thing I would say that this mall could’ve been better supported with the public transport system, other than the buses. Wouldve been perfect if bagatelle had transit support with the metro, like it is with Phoenix Mall and Caudan. Overall, a good place to spend a considerable amount of time with family, friends or a loved one.

Feeling a little homesick... there are familiar international brand restaurants and some from South Africa... and plenty food, beauty and fashion stores... nothing like treating yourself to something beautiful to wear for your next outing on the town... Forgot to check in at the office, Cyber City is just around the corner...

Great mall. Most of the things are available here. There are some great stores and some good food options available here. There are many international brands available here. The road leading to the mall is also great. There is a beautiful flyover near this mall. It is one of the biggest malls in Mauritius.

Still the best mall in Mauritius in my opinion. The new Tribeca mall close by hasn't got the same vibe. There is so much variaty in shops and a great selection of places to eat. Lots of parking. Really worth a visit

This place is huge and very popular. Lots of changes since it was built. I like the food court and variety of food and the large number of stores available there. The new market is great and quite unique style. The price overall might not be cheap but at least we have many choices on food and brands/items which have different prices. It should have closed later. 22:00 is too early and place e-map should be more accessible so we can locate everything easily. I had a fantastic time at Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius. The mall offers a diverse range of shops and brands, making it a shopper's paradise. Well only good things to say. There are five very well thought out escape themes, each with a very good back story. We did the prison break and another group the spicey story (about spices in Mauritius). Having experienced this sort of thing before Dodo Quest is definitely well worth the money and a great outing for team building, family or even a birthday party as we did. We will definitely be back.

We did the Prison Break. Its difficult and interesting. Should try for the first time. Good adventure even though i expected more rooms and escape stuff.

Great place to have fun with friends. Still prefer escape rooms to action games. So far, liked Prison Break and Mental Hospital best in terms of originality and fun. A bit disapointed with Buried Alive and Last Dodo, some props didn't work. Hope they add new rooms and themes soon.

It's Easy to park at the beginning of the road. The hike is not difficult but bring a good pair of shoes because the ground can be slippery.

Fantastic trekking activity and magnificent view from the top. Good shoes is must have ! Regular sport ones are enough - or hiking ones. Don’t even try to go there with sandals ! Like people say here, the wet rocks are really slippery so be cautious with stepping. Dry rocks are ok. Trail is really steep so you gonna burn some calories 😀With half an hour sitting on the top it takes around 2.5-3h for not a sport guy to get there from parking lot and back.Apes seen😀Place is not crowded at all, I met only local sport guys running there. Go there- will not be disappointed!

A must visit Peak in Mauritius A moderate trek from Port Louis and an easy trek from Moka I prefer the Port Louis trail as it is much more beautiful and challenging You could spot a couple of animals like monkeys, moles There is a stream on the way which has fresh water to quench the thirst of tired hikers The way to the top is filled with wild guava which is a treat ! On the trail from Moka you could also see a waterfall The way to the peak is a bit tough , only slightly tough but the view from the top is just breathtaking! The entire Port Louis could be seen from the top Besides Moka , some parts of Curepipe can also be seen One among the best hikes in Mauritius! A must try!

I am an experienced mountain climber. Reviews state that this is a very easy walk, I would say it is an intermediate walk with technical areas towards the top. Beware that this is a very muddy and slippy track, I ended up covered in dirt. Overall great views at the top, but the slippy mud does let it down a little!

Climbing Le Pouce was such an awesome experience. I would describe this climb as easy/medium with the climb up the peak as more medium towards the end. Completely worth it for the amazing view. This is a must do/must check out. We were also lucky enough to see a little monkey closer to the top.

Wait until the weather is dry for a few days before going and it will be an easy hike. If you want some challenge end it in Moka and start from Port Louis side. It might look like the rain ruined the path over there but it is still doable! If there is rain don’t climb to the absolute top as it will be very dangerous

Been here a lot of times. Really had great time.. But my recent visit was a bad experience.. We went during sunset. It was dark while we descend.. When we reached down, we saw 2 or our cars’ side windows were smashed and broken. It was a robbery. Luckily we weren’t there while those robbers came. Police helped us.. Please be careful when you are there, especially when it’s dark..

Best place for hiking but not the easy one. Track is getting harder and harder so prepare yourself properly. Track can be muddy and small stones can put you in a situation so put the best grip shoes and have a hiking stick as well it can help. Just near the top its very hard and you do need help don’t be shy people are very generous they help. Be careful with monkeys as well sometime they do come near you to for food but please don’t feed them they can be aggressive to snatch the food from you. While raining that place can be covered thick clouds again take a precaution.

If you have a car, it is good idea to start from Saint Piere. There is a little parking at the begining of the trail so its better to be there in the early morning. Trail is nice, also I don't think is as difficult as people are saying. There is beautiful view at the top.

Great hike, 1:30h for novice ones but definitely worth it. Be careful on the way, it can be slippery. Stay hydrated and pack a snack for the top - you’ll want to spend a bit of time there to take in the fantastic view.

Two view points, local guide whos catch you by gate, will tell you some informations, whole time he says that Is his job and is payd by government, but at the end he wants 250MUR per person. He's also able to take you to waterfalls 15min away and other places, but check the Price before if dont want to be suprised

Visited this dormant Crater in the morning, the view was amazing, there was dense forests on the sides of the volcano. Saw people coming here for a walk/jogging, A good place for clicking pictures and enjoy the greenery.

Trou aux Cerfs is located in the heart of Curepipe, there you will find a dormant volcano surrounded by nature; a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species, some giant green pine trees, lush greenery, trees, flowers and a small lake at the center, I have never seen such beauty before. If it wasn’t a dormant volcano, I would have found my way down to lie on the untamed grasses and day dream about my prince charming but reality can be a pain in the butt sometimes. This is one of the famous natural tourist attractions in Mauritius, the dormant volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters and a depth of around 100 meters. Interestingly, Trou aux Cerfs is also known as ‘Murr’s Volcano’. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs volcano erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 700,000 years; experts believe that there is a potential chance for it to become active again. Here, you can get some souvenirs from the locals at a very cheap and affordable rate and you get a spectacular view of some part of Mauritius from the view point of the crater, you also get to see the majestic view of the Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis- Moka mountain range. There is also their meteorological centre (radar station) close to this tour site so you can enjoy the view of the blue building and the blue clear sky. There are benches where you can rest and reflect, and a radar station that keeps an electronic eye on cyclone activity. Awesome sight. When trains started running from Port Louis in the 20th century, settlement in Curepipe started. One can have good 360° views of the place from the top of the Volcano.

Very nice place to spend an hour. Carry your own food and drinks with you as there is no shop around. Total greenery. Beware of the direct sunlight if you’re visiting during Mauritius summer

This was previously a site of an active volcano, now a beautiful area rich in vegetation. It is possible to see far into the distance from this high vantage point looking over Curepipe. The nearby Meteorological Centre is an interesting building. Car park nearby and a few locals selling food and gifts. A must-see when visiting Mauritius and having access to a car.

Went for my dad's birthday and the place is awesome.. The food from starter to snack was very delicious. The food was not oily nor salty as compared to the negative comments on this restaurant.. From the outside this place looked really nice, but from almost the moment we stepped inside it became clear this was a bad choice. Multiple dishes on the menu not available (how on earth do you not have spring rolls?!?!), very low quality meat used in each of the dishes, and service could be best described as “generally confused”. Very surprised it has customers, I definitely would not dine here again. I suppose it was reasonably priced if nothing else. Go find some mine frite from a street vendor and save yourself a disappointment here.

I was invited for lunch there on 04 June 2019. As the restaurant is in a mall, so parking facility is excellent. The restaurant specialises in Chinese Cuisine but surprisingly do not serve pork. The waitor seemed to be new as when I ordered a Smirnoff Ice, he said that they had none. So I decided to take a glass of Rosé wine. He came back after a few minuted to advise that in fact they has the Smirnoff Ice. He did not ask if we wanted a bottle of water and decided that he would remove the glasses. When I found out that I forgot to order water he has had to bring back the glasses with the water. Not very professional. Anyway the food was served rather quick as the restaurant was not full. Quality acceptable for the price paid.

We went there for dinner buffet. Very good atmosphere but if the music level could be a bit less louder it would be great. Staffs were very welcoming and was friendly. I was disappointed with the food. For starters, i would say it was okay...i really liked the veg starters. Very tasty. For main course the veg fried rice was good. But for veg fried noodles the noodles were glue together(cange) and the taste also was not good like it was expired. The other dishes that were served for main course were not bad. For dessert i would prefer a simple vanilla ice cream. We were supposed to have sagoo with coconut ice cream and grass jelly. But instead we had sagoo milk the ice cream melted as they kept dessert near main dishes were served piping hot. I think you should change the place. And for grass jelly it was too watery. The desserts must be reviewed. Some friends didnt even take the desserts. But have to pay for everything. And for drinks its too expensive. A can 300ml soft drink was rs100. And they dont have in 1L or 2L if u have a lot of people. I hope that the menu can be changed and some improvements can be done.

Not the same restaurant as compared to some years back. Had to wait for 45 min for 3 simple dim sum basket while the restaurant wasn't even packed. The dimsum weren't the worth. Rest was good the waiter are friendly and explain everything. Clean place. Good ambiance and deco.

Food is fresh and tastes good. Waiting time to get served around 30mins. Passionfruit iced tea tastes really good and homemade.

Pre-ordered way before and still waited over an hour to get the food. There was no one to serve us. I had to go inside and request for a waiter/waitress to take my order for drink.

Moka’z was one of my favorite places to eat.On Saturday I’ve been there for lunch but to my surprise, I was asked to leave my table. When i arrived, i asked for 2 seats and a waiter showed me a table which was not yet cleaned up. After several minutes of wait, i asked to clean it up but a lady very rudely asked me to change my table without even showing another one. I waited again unattended and had to leave immediately. Worst experience ever.

A recommended place, with a nice customer service and good food.

The desserts are a bit on the steep side of the price range. My red velvet was a bit hard. Maybe it was made a while ago. But the other desserts i tried were good and paired well with the coffee.

Excellent venue. Very open and inviting environment. The care they put in the food is top notch. For instance, the grilled chicken was a deboned chicken thigh which was juicy and tasty. The fish daube was boneless too with an excellent taste profile. Their serving portions are more than adequate. I highly recommend this place.

Their burgers are nice. Also tried the Ice tea tamarind , would definitely recommend it👌🏾. Service is slow when it's busy, waiting time would be around 40 mins if you are in a big group.

Been there today .. very disappointing.. tasteless, meat was not lean !! Fatty taste. Too much ketchup and not value for money !! Poor customer care Please upgrade

My order just for a chips was 40 minutes. There was only one lady preparing burgers + other orders, looking after the chips and the grill. The service was too slow and could have had more people helping her to provide a better quality of service. I ordered a large chips for 140 rs and it came in a small box. Not value for money. I do not recommend this place.

Went in there today for lunch time and wanted to try the quarter chicken meal but to my disappointment it seemed their prep wasn't ready as I even changed my order to have the Fried Chicken meal but this too wasn't available... very disappointed wasn't able to make an order 😕

Very disappointing seriously the advertisement for the burger looks appetizing, but when you get the burger it doesn't look like the ad.I even asked one of the lady if it was the burger that I ordered and she said yes! It didnt even had a lot of sauce in it and the burger was so dry i dont recommend wasting your time there its not epic. Go and eat somewhere else. And thanks for reading my review....

The classic chicken burger was very tasty and the chips was delicious. Steers bagatelle is a good place to go with family and friends. The staff there warmly welcome the customers with a smile.

I absolutely love your burgers and chips. It's my favourite place to eat burgers. It's appetizing, delicious and soooo flavourous. Unfortunately, I don't see it well promoted and advertised. We don't really hear about Steers on social media. Plus, the outlets are not well spread over the island. It's very limited. We can have access to your restaurant only at 2 places. I would really love if 1 outlet could be opened at Beau Bassin which is a foodhub. It seems as though the quality was much better before though. And staff needs better training. Waiting time can be long sometimes. It would be good if these issues could be addressed.

Great food, loved my burger. The chips were delectable. Some of these other reviewers may have came on an off day. My burger was superb. Cheerio, mates. Will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu

Heavily processed patties, dry buns and the no gloves used by staff.

The lemon meringue cake and the cafe latte were good. But the cleanliness was bad. I had to wipe the sofa myself. The waiters don't even say hi and didn't make us feel welcomed.

The service is very slow and the restaurant need to improve make freshness a priority.

Worst smoked marlin sandwich I ever had. It smelled foul, no taste at all and was definitely not fresh. We also got a table upstairs and the staff were literally standing right next to us during the whole meal. I understand that you need some staff upstairs to serve the tables, but why would you put you cutleries etc. in the middle of the room? They might as well grab a chair and join the table for a chat

I recently visited Mug and Beans and unfortunately had a subpar experience. The customer service was notably slow, with a one-hour wait before receiving our food. This prolonged delay greatly impacted our overall enjoyment of the dining experience. Regrettably, the quality of the food did not redeem the lengthy wait. The dishes lacked the expected standard, and it's disheartening to see such a decline in quality at Mug and Beans. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement. It's crucial for establishments to address these issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

The servings was bad and the food was horrible. I asked for an avocado burger and there was no avocado inside the burger. There was no flavors on the beef, it was like eating raw beef with no spices or anything. Also the steak, beef,sausage, everything smell so bad, like raw beef. I had to wait more than 15min for a refill and there was only 2 tables booked, so it was practically empty. I was so excited to eat there but was met with lots of disappointment. It was such a waste of money and time. The food was definitely not worth a single penny spend. I won't go there again.

Hello team, my family and I was a great fan of your food and today we are wanted to celebrate my son birthday but today we had the worst experience from your team. We waited more than 1 hour to get our orders. On 10 plate we ordered we got only 6 by the time I’m writing this. For example we order 1 jerk chicken salad and check below what we got. I don’t like to complain but this was really unpleasant for my family. Hope you can do better in the future

The food was horrible. I order a sharing plater and two big daddy burgers. The sharing plate had chicken and it was over cooked as if it was cooked since one week. No flavour and the texture was not good. The chips had no taste too. I asked for mayonnaise but no mayonnaise was available. The burger was dry with no sauce or mayonnaise in it. The coca cola had a strange taste. Horrible experience trust me. Not worth the price.

Been there after a while. Took a few things including their beef burgers. For the price their burgers are very small (kidsize but rs440+), sweet potato not properly cooked. Their chicken liver is very good, and service was great. But not worth it in the end

Bought milkshake for my son to take away. Unfortunately, the takeaway cup had no lid and we were offered the lid for a larger takeaway cup. Obviously 🙄 it didn't fit. So, you can order a medium drink with no lid or a large drink, but not to take away because there aren't any large takeaway cups. I'm getting dizzy 😵 just writing this out. Oh, the silly things we encounter.

Advertised food is not delivered properly, which is especially disappointing given the price point. Could not cook one egg properly; all were overcooked, 4 of them! Eggs benedict came with fried eggs, not poached, and without any sauce. When asked for hollandaise sauce, was provided with a block of salted butter. Burger had eggs cooked more than the meat as well. Staff was nice.

Went for the Sunday brunch buffet today and I have to admit they definetly met every expectation of mine. Not only was there always food available in the serving area, it was constantly warm and delicious. Whenever I needed something the staff was more than happy to help me out. Very professional and effective team. Shout out to the manager 😂. The interior was stunning as well, located right next to one of the entrances of the bagatelle mall, it was warm and comfortable. I would definetly recommend to try out the Sunday brunch it's definetly worth the price however I suggest to come as early as possible before all the great seats are taken. Over all excellent food, excellent people, excellent service, definet recommend.
