Le Petit Zing is a delightful establishment with a wide range of delectable options on their menu. They offer a variety of dishes, including chicken, pizza, and sushi. While it may not be considered a fancy romantic dining destination, the establishment is always clean and serves delicious food. Additionally, they provide various activities such as live music and karaoke to entertain their customers. A colleague highly recommended this place for their mouthwatering pizza.
Very nice place, good food, perfect to spend time with a group of friends

Let's just say that this place is not my favorite place although it seems to be very popular. They have great music and decent food. However, my first experience was getting hit in the head with a broom by an inattentive waitress who was sweeping up a glass she dropped, but she did apologize. The second time I was there I was pretty much ignored and when I asked for a menu, no one came back or paid attention to me to take my order (the staff was too busy flirting with the security guard), for at least half an hour. The manager walked around asking if everything was okay on each visit but failed to understand or care about what was happening. I hope you have better luck!

We did not like the food and service. Heavily commercialised restaurant/bar with comfort food for westerners e.g pizza, burgers, e.t.c that do not taste good. Monk fish on skews was not fresh. The burger was mainly bread. You are better off eating somewhere else and coming here for a drink afterwards.

A colleague recommended this place for the pizza. It was a great place to hang out with delicious food and drinks. We left early but it looks like the evening entertainment is great as well. I am glad to have discovered this gem. Their burger is to die for

Me & my husband enjoyed our food. The live musician and ambience were great. Nice crowd of foreign tourists like us. I will definitely go back!

I tried this restaurant last year with my brother and we enjoyed it. The food was good :)

Always nice to hang out there. Food is good. On the Menue you find basically everything. From chicken to Pizza or even sushi. For sure it's not a romantic fine dining place, but all is clean and tastes good. Also there is always activities.. Live music... Karaoke etc.. Definitely a good place to hang out and chill.

Staff is friendly. However the place is full of tourists, mostly old men who are looking for a local snack to take with them. The food is below average and overpriced. Enjoying your food in peace on the terrace is impossible for every street vendors wants you to buy something.

French restaurant
La Guinguette is a standout among the top-notch establishments in Saly, offering excellent cuisine and beverages. The restaurant's staff is not only friendly but also proficient in English, which adds to the overall experience. It caters to families without compromising on the sophisticated ambiance. One of their highly-priced dishes includes a delectable combination of fish and shrimps complemented by an exquisite green pepper sauce, all for an affordable price of 7600.
Very nice place to eat, the food is well prepared, the Chef makes his dishes very tasty and homemade style. recommended Place!

This restaurant was the second one we hit after a rather devastating experience the previous night and what a delightful culinary experience it was. We were greated by Absa, our waitress. She was pleasant and very professional. The chef personally stopped by to welcome us and introduce the menu. I liked the fact that everything prepared at the restaurant is locally sourced. The restaurant is located in a beautiful house and is very artfully and tastefully decorated. Photos of james brown, miles davis, and most the great blue and jazz singers can be seen on the walls throughout the restaurant. This place is great for family, business, casual, and romantic dinners. The bathroom is squeaky clean. We were impressed by everything we ate there: - The caprese (goat cheese, tomato, and basilic) and warm cheese toasts were delectable. - i ordered the trio de la mer (sole, lotte, and shrimp) which was very tasty. - my 11 yr old love his chicken dish - my wife and sister ordered the filet de capitaine grille and loved it. - le gigot de lotte was also a hit with my brother in law. I highly recommend this place and would be returning next time I am in town. FYI: the place accept cash and local checks. I can't remember if they accept orange, and wave money. No bank or credit cards.

A step above the generally high standard in Saly restaurants. Friendly staff who (luckily for me) happily communicated in English. Excellent food and drinks, and even manages to be children-friendly while maintaining a high class. I had possibly the most expensive dish in the place, fish and shrimps with a superb green pepper sauce, and this still only set me back 7600. Prices not the lowest around, but well worth it.

Restaurant
Chez l'Homme tranquille offers a delightful dining experience with reasonably priced and delicious food. Despite the quiet atmosphere during early hours, it is likely to be livelier in the evening. The restaurant is accommodating towards children and offers a variety of options including steak, chicken, pastis, and fish dishes. Although the appearance may not be impressive, the quality of food and portion sizes are commendable.
Very good food! Great atmosphere and very nice service even though we don't speak any French and very very little Wolof :D It's a Senegalese owned restaurant! Very recommendable!

Great local restaurant, fresh fish and a down to earth, welcoming and personal atmosphere
Maxime Lenssens — Google review
Very good experience, the food was good at a very reasonable price (~15k FCFA for a steak, a half-chicken, a pastis, an n/a drink, and a big bottle of water). The atmosphere was a bit quiet, but that was because we ate early, it might be louder at night. They were very accommodating of our children!

Good food and service. Hardly a fancy place, but well worth a visit.

Don’t be discouraged by the appearance of the restaurant, because the food is so delicious and comes in a reasonable portion! My husband and I both loved The Gambas and their fish options!!

We waited one hour for our meal, which was extremely salty when it finally arrived. There was also a guy loudly singing and playing guitar the entire time...

Bigaro Dos is an exceptional French eatery located in a secluded spot in Saly. Their extensive menu caters to various tastes with a special dish of the day, appetizers, and complete meals. Each offering is prepared in generous portions, as indicated by the number marked down on the menu board upon order. The quality of their delectable dishes surpassed all expectations, leaving patrons thoroughly satisfied. Furthermore, Bigaro Dos boasts an impressive selection of alcoholic beverages, including a wide variety of wines.
A great French restaurant in a out of the way location in Saly. Menu has sufficient selection for most palates plat du jour, entree, and menu complete offerings. Looks like they prepare about a dozen+ servings for each offering daily. They count/mark down the remaining on the menu board as each item or meal is ordered. Excellent savory quality of foods ordered exceeded all expectations. Great selection of alcohol including wines. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere is as good as it gets with the courtyard setting and separated dining. areas. Highly recommended for a fine dining experience. I will definitely return if ever back in Saly.

Atmosphere is wonderful and the owners and staff are charming! Such a pity that they do not take credit card! If so we would be back again! Starter course was excellent but the main course of fish cooked in “ paupiette “ was bland and lacking taste ! The apple and banana crumble was tres bonne! Reservation essential

The tiny little pool in the middle of the yard kinda kills the space to dance but it's a very cool place to hang with friends

If you visit La Pirogue, you must sample the Zebu. Unfortunately, no photo was taken as its irresistible taste left no room for hesitation. The sauteed and fried shrimp were equally delightful. The establishment boasts delectable fish and seafood dishes, with prompt service. It is also kid-friendly and maintains clean restroom facilities. Additionally, patrons can enjoy good food accompanied by entertainment.
Good food and entertainment. Must try the Zebra Steak.

We did not like the food. Monk fish cooked in orange sauce was hard and chewy. Prawns were basic/not tasty. There was no soap in the toilet but at least they were clean. No value for money.

Nice fish and seafood, pretty fast service. Children friendly. Clean bathrooms

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. The service was friendly, and we received the dishes after 20-30 minutes from ordering (I read opinions that the wait for dishes is long here - probably someone who wrote this has never been to The Gambia :)

If you come here, you have to try the Zebu. I didn’t get a picture of it because once I tasted it there was no stopping 😂 The sautéed and fried shrimp were also a treat.
