The last time I visited Playa Sucia was about 10 years ago. It’s was very beautiful with pristine white sand, and calm, crystal clear water. The drive to the parking area nearest to the beach is best done in a SUV or truck with high clearance, as the unpaved road is extremely uneven. Although, there were a few smaller cars making the adventurous and bumpy trek. Unfortunately, we decided not the stay as there was a substantial band of washed up seaweed between us and the water. At points, the seaweed seemed to be 2-3 feet high and 6 feet wide. Sadly, there was only one other family walking along the beach. I hope this is only temporary and will be able to enjoy Playa Sucia again in the future.

Plan a short walk into a beautiful beach. Lots of seaweed on about 50% of the beach. But the water color is beautiful. Took a hike up the cliffs, saw a sea turtle and fish. Beautiful vista views, turquoise waters, very calm water for kids with a gentle slope. No waves! Lots of shade trees up on the beach. Hermit crabs were fun to see and lots of birds. This is a nature.preserve so don't expect any amenities. Pack in and pack out trash. Keep it clean!

A few things to see here: the lighthouse, el puente de piedra (natural rock bridge), and the beach itself. We arrived early for the sunrise at 5:30am, and then walked to see the other things. Wear bug spray for the walk to Puente de Piedra! We came at low tide and didn’t actually get to swim in the water because the shore was full of seaweed, but the view is beautiful. TLDR: extremely bumpy road, if your car is low to the ground just park and walk. Apply bug spray for the walk to Puente de Piedra. Sunrise/sunset are beautiful.

Hiking around here Is fun. The walk from where the cars could be parked to the beach was about maybe 20-25 minutes. Bring lots of water to hydrate! No vendors out there. And take all of your trash!

The road to the beach has a lot of potholes - still okay to drive though, just need to be slow. The beach itself is not great, there's tons and tons of seaweed. The landscape is scenic and would've been picturesque without the seaweed. There are hiking opportunities close by but we came with the intent of chilling on the beach. If that's your intention too, go elsewhere for now.

Honestly, it's the best beach I've ever been to. I lived in South Florida for 2 years, and this was 100% better than every beach there. Not crowded at all, beautiful beach with white sands and clear warm water. I hate swimming but I actually went for a Swim here for the first time in 9 years. I will return to this beach everytime I'm in PR.

Beautiful beach with very nice hiking trails near by. Awesome views. The beach with lots of seedweed but with nice spots in the water. The parking is a little walking distance away. No bathrooms or things to buy.

Playa Sucia in Cabo Rojo is a special sandy beach circling a bay jutting in from the Caribbean Sea. The sand is soft, fined grained and comfortable to walk on while the water is clear, cool, blue-green and with small waves and ripples along the shore. The shallow waters and small waves make it relatively safer for children to play in. There are fish (small and slightly larger) darting around, we even had a rayfish swim right up ! The scenery makes Playa Sucia a delightful getaway for the whole family. Note: there is no commercial activity or restrooms in or immediately around the beach.

Most beautiful beach I been too on the island so far. Road to get to it is a little beat up, need SUV to get all the way to the beach parking, there's a big hole on the road on the way, but very much worth it. There's tree coverage all along the beach, it's a little seaweed because it's kept as natural as possible.

Very pretty beach! We had a small suv and easily made it over one of the worse parts of the road. We saw smaller cars than ours make it easily as well. We did read that it can be harder if it’s just rained. Once you make it through the initial bumpy parts, you can park close to the beach, about a 5 minute walk. follow the signs! We went a bit later so that parking might fill up. Beach was nice and remote and the water was beautiful. There was some seaweed but still worth it.

Furthermore, the limited temporary parking, available only until 5 pm, poses an obstacle for those wishing to linger and witness the sunset from the watch house. This limitation can be frustrating for travelers seeking to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. While the beach undoubtedly boasts stunning scenery, its remote location and accessibility issues may render it less appealing, especially for vacationers residing in San Juan or the Eastern side of PR. With a lengthy (but scenic) drive of two and a half hours, potential visitors may find the journey outweighs the destination. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are only for the beach, ⭐️ for everything else.

We almost skipped over this hidden beach and I’m so thankful we didn’t. What a beautiful place, tucked away in a nature preserve. Great to lay out and relax, go for a dip, or go for a hike up the cliffs on either side of the cove. There are no amenities, so stock up before arriving!

Nice beach. Light sand, and very calm water like a pool. It’s like natural cove with cliffs in the end, creating a spectacular view. No amenities, so stick up on water. Also bring your SUV. Right near the entrance there is a sink hole. Small cars have to stop right there and then it’s a walk of around a kilometer. If they fix that, it is a great beach for all.

Very scenic white sand beach with plenty of shady areas under the trees. A little busy on the Saturday we visited, but there was room to space out from others, and few people blasting music unlike most of the other local beaches. Unfortunately there is a lot of trash around especially along the road if walking from the bad spot in the road. The beach wasn't too bad but I did pick up a few plastic bags. We didn't take our little Toyota Corolla rental through the pothole. Possibly it would doable but there were a lot of scrape marks on the ground where low cars had bottomed out. Including a picture for others to judge. It was a hot 1.5km walk but that only made the dip in the ocean more enjoyable.

Beautiful scenery with clear blue water. Loved the wild/less explored feel of this beach. You can spend the whole day going around the area discover cool spots..... There were some stray dogs that looked dehydrated and hungry....not sure how they got there.😥 We gave them left over food so make sure to bring something good for them.

2024 Update: This place is beautiful and you should totally do it BUT it hasn't been opened or operational for years. I called the City Hall and they said "We haven't opened that place for years for cars or anyone. If you want to go in it is up to your own risk. Oh and put on some good shoes, you gotta walk like 20 minutes." And he wasn't kidding. We walked for 20 minutes before reaching the lighthouse and it was worth every single moment.

Gorgeous views of the ocean and the cliffs! It's very windy up there so avoid loose caps. The lighthouse itself is alright but the view is what's spectacular and makes it worth the visit

Beautiful lighthouse and place. The view from the cliffs are amazing. It's pretty windy, watch your hat and also your steps. The walk It's about 1.5 km to the lighthouse from the road where you can park your car. The view it's spectacular, well worth the walk. Along the was you can see the last hurricane's destruction.

By far, this is one of my favorite places in PR. The beach Playa Sucia is just beautiful. Waves are not too big to make it a dangerous beach. Yet, big enough to have fun with the family. One thing that's not great, tho, it's the vehicles access area. The road and the parking area has been abandoned. Therefore, it hasn't seen any maintenance since 2019. It's best to park the car at the very beginning of the road, then walk to the lighthouse and beach. Otherwise, get ready to entirely destroy your car's shock absorbers. Really, it's that bad. Apart from the road, the beach and other areas are still worth it.

Still a great place to visit. Be sure to drive a vehicle with high clearance... road is bad. A Yellow Warbler decided to attack the reflection on the car mirror. An unexpected treat!!!

We went there a Monday, Google maps said it was closed, but we were able to get to the place with no issues, be careful when getting to the parking area thought, the roads aren't maintained and it could become a challenge if you bring an small car, you can still make it, but it is a bumpy road. The views are amazing!

Breathtaking views. Free entrance. Part of the road is not paved, driving an SUV is recommended. There is a 10 mins walk from the parking to the lighthouse that, although is not extremely difficult, is not suitable for wheelchairs or bycicles.

The views are gorgeous, so that alone to me makes it all worth it! **Don’t expect an easy going experience.** NOT even exaggerating, there’s an extremely rough dirt road getting to the lighthouse. You'll need to go slow, and you’ll be fine. You'll come to an area to either park/walk trails, or to continue left down the road. I did not go left, so I'm not sure what's down there. But I did park/walk the trails. Make sure to wear sneakers, as there are a lot of rocks on the walk to the lighthouse. Like I said though, definitely worth it for the views!

It is worth going up to this beautiful old lighthouse! The view around it is gorgeous. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bring a light jacket. If you don’t like the wind, it was drizzling lightly when we were heading up to the lighthouse, beware of your hat, flying away as well. It was about 20-25mins to get up to the top, but worth it.

Absolutely gorgeous views! The lighthouse was for sure a hike, a mile and half of walking but was sooooo worth it! So many gorgeous views along the way and a pretty beach on the other side of the lighthouse! The water is extremely salty so forewarning and definitely bring a bottle of water and sunscreen lol you will not regret the hike!

Gorgeous spot. Area - especially the salt flats- looks like it was hit hard by hurricanes and places where cars seem to have parked that were close to the light house are not open. So the walk up feels long in the sunny hot conditions. Views are lovely.

Stunning Views!!! Cliffs are beautiful. I just wish the city or natural resources will take care of the “El Faro” structure to ensure it is well kept. I also wish the road to get there was a smoother ride. Overall is a must place to visit!!!!

Faro Los Morrillos offers stunning views from an abandoned lighthouse, but our experience was hindered by a flooded bridge. Opt for an AWD or larger vehicle to navigate the terrain effortlessly and fully enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Despite the unexpected hike, the captivating vistas make it a worthwhile adventure.

It’s a good 15 minute hike, but totally worth it. The views on the edge of the lighthouse are pretty rad. It was closed but you will have no issues going up there and checking everything out.

Great place to visit if you're in the area with stunning views. Only complaint is that we had to hike approx 1.5 mile each way which we were not prepared for because the gate was closed at the entrance.

You will need a SUV if you want to get to the closest parking lot…otherwise you will be walking more than a mile to just get to the base of the lighthouse. There is a ditch that took out the front bumper of a car that tried to navigate it. Once you get pass the ditch you will be on a very bumpy dirt road for at least a mile to get to the last parking lot at base of the lighthouse. The climb from the parking lot to the lighthouse is moderate and short (~10 mns). However, the star of the show is not the lighthouse rather the cliffs that surrounds it. There is a short hike to the natural stone arch and caves. There is no shade so sunblock and lots of water is recommended. The area is definitely worth a visit!! After the hike to see the beautiful sights just go to Playa Sucia (it’s a short walk from the parking lot) to cool off in one of the better beach in the western PR. I recommend brining a cooler with a few frozen water bottles plus some sandwiches, beach towels for after the hike to relax at Playa Sucia.

Amazing view ! Perfect for photography ! Parking is small and you do have to hike a little bit probably like 8 minutes. If you touring around this is a great spot to stop.

Absolutely amazing place, you can take a little bit hike in that area and you’ll be surprised how terrific it is 💪🤗 I only can highly recommend this place, you have to take some time and visit it no matter where you are in PR, do it 🇵🇷

Quaint beach with a small gift shop, bar and eatery. Perfect for watching the sunset. The walk along the shoreline through the trees was very relaxing. There were even a couple good graffiti spots. My favorite beach of the trip.

Amazing beach with lots of space, nearby huts that serve nice alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, not sure if they sold food I only got a drunk after my swim haha. Nice clear water! Went Sunday and they had karaoke, not sure if that's an everyday thing but it was cool. There are tons of spots for shade even though it was crowded as all heck. What an experience, overall it was a great day.

I am originally from PR and now live in the states and came to visit the island. I had heard about this beach but had not visited yet. I took my family and it was beautiful, clean and so relaxing! It is definitely hidden and for a good reason. There are bars/bathrooms at a walking distance and a lot of shade. I will definitely be visiting again!🩷

Awesome beach with nice shades (didn't need an umbrella), calm and clear water for swimming. We paid $10 for parking nearby. Looked like you could park by the roadside for free. We were there early like 09:30 AM so not much crowd on a Sunday but the place quickly filled up. So def recommend going early. Bring swim goggles if you have one. One of the best beaches during our visit.

It's a great place, we had a lot of fun with the kids. The temperature of the water was very nice. It's a place to go in the early hours. It gets very crowded on the weekend.

Its my happy place. You have shower but you need coins 0 .50 cents per 1 minute shower. There is small restaurant casual, drinks, water, sodas, fried food etc in the beach. Its a lot of shades by trees, but bring chairs, the beach is clear water. Not safeguard okay. There some "gazebo" but you have to pay. That have concret rectangle table and benches. Its a family place. The shower and the bathroom are clean and they located at the beginning of the beach. There is parking free at the beginning. But also more near to the entrance to the beach there is parking for $5 the whole day. I park there 👍

Great beach has parking for $10 limited. Or in the street get there early 0900!! Has a bathroom and showers. A place for drinks and limited food. Great shade for the kids under the trees. Sand is fine white usually small waves. It's our new go to beach kids love it!!

Not the most visually stunning beach ever, but it was great for calm waters and relaxing for a bit. There were a LOT of high school age groups here when we visited. Not unpleasant, but just not the most private beach - every spot was pretty full with people, especially under the trees for any cover from storms passing.

Beautiful beach but so much trash on the sand, most of it from the food and drink stands on the beach. Why are there no trash cans?! The vendors need to be better about disposal of the drink cups and straws they sell. The vendors and patrons should be ashamed for trashing this beautiful beach. Trash everywhere and no trash cans. Don't sell drinks and food if you can't take responsibility for the trash it produces! Dirtiest beach I have been to in Cabo Rojo!!! I spent 30 minutes picking up trash and filled a whole bag just from around my beach chair. The drink vendors only excuse for not having a trash can is "the county won't pick it up". Well your business still produces trash regardless of having a trash can or not so what do you do with that trash?

Stunning Beach. 😍😍There is free parking and paid parking. There are facilities for changing. There are a few vendors for food and drinks. The water is beautiful. There are natural shade spots from the trees along the beach. Picture perfect. The weekend atmosphere is great.

Our favorite beach near Cabo Rojo. It can be pretty lively on the weekend but there was still an okay amount of space, better space the further down you walk and plenty of shade under the trees. Park on the road to avoid the $10 parking lot. There's a bar that also has good food (the $3 empanadas were delish and so were the pina coladas). Keep an eye out for iguanas and turtles! There's a guy named Juan who walks around selling ceviche; if you see him, try it! There's also a guy who sells strawberry mojitos that are better than anything you'll get at the bar. Puerto Ricans are some of the nicest people on earth and man do I miss it.

Beautiful sunsets! Nice beach, great for families. Lots of tourists so just a bit more crowded than I personally prefer. Also, drinks were delicious and well priced.

Beautiful, serene beach— one of my favorites I’ve ever been to. Perfect spot to set up a hammock and watch the sunset.

Buye is one of the best beaches in PR. The sunset are to die for if for any chance you are vacationing in PR you need to visit Buye beach ❤️❤️🇵🇷

What a wonderful public beach. The beach is super clean and the water is crystal clear. We really enjoyed ourselves. The water was so warm. As you come in, you have to pay at the gate in order to park in one of two parking areas. Plenty of parking space. We walked the beach and reached a boardwalk area which led to a marina which had plenty of bars and restaurants. It was a very cool vibe.

A great park. Only $4 to get in. Huge with lots of special parking for handicapped AND anyone over 65! On a stunning bay, warm, calm and too inviting... If you are in SW Puerto Rico, this is a must see and stop... Oh yeah, lotsa iguanas too...

We tried a few beaches in the area and ended up loving this one. The least crowded. Beautiful, clean, clear and calm; perfect swimming beach. With postcard perfect palm trees. Plenty of space to spread out, shade and tons of parking, fyi no public restrooms or shower, and no food vendors, lifeguard is not on duty Mondays and Tuesdays but parking seemed to be free those days.

What can I say? It is beautiful. I went here as a kid every summer when I stayed con abuela and have great memories. There is a huge parking lot with a $4 fee. There are beach chair rentals and water bikes too. Get there early to get a picnic table. Lots of coral reefs and sea shells across the beach. Head over to the local strip early in the afternoon and get all types of seafood delights and some cold brews! This is still by far my favorite beach! 🏝🇵🇷✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

Beautiful and relaxing. Showers and bathrooms available. Best of all is has parking $4. Close to poblado where you can find free parking too.

I love this place. It is a huge, beautiful beach with swim areas, toy rentals such as kayaks and paddleboats, cabana rentals with more to come! We just cleaned several sections up that were closed after Hurricane Maria 6 years ago, and there will be dozens of united ready to go soon! Just a short walk down the beach in town, there is music, great food, drinks and souvenirs, island wear to browse. There is always something fun happening here!

Is way due for a refurbishing. Still one of the most stunning beach in Puerto Rico

The best beach with coconut tress and benches. Plenty of space for parking (4 $). Excellent place for the whole day itinerary. Just one problem that the bathrooms are always flooded with water.

This is a nice area for sunbathing. Theres no parking. I wish i wouldve taken my snorkel cus most of the area underwater is seaweed. No waves is normal. Lots of small parrots and iguanas. Well manicured beach family friendly area. Plenty of benches to sit and eat at. Showers and bathrooms. A lot of green grass area. Alot of palm trees. Watch your head for falling coconuts.

One of my absolute favorite beaches on the west side with the calmest waters and great views for sunset. Bring mosquito repellant for when the sun begins to set. Bring snacks/ foods/refreshments. I parked on the street outside the gates and walked in.

Really good food. The best we've had in Puerto Rico so far this trip. The baby back ribs, steak, and burgers... So goooood. Drinks are made really well too.

What a trip. So me and my wife did a very long roadtrip from Caguas, Cayey through the panoramic route and we were going to end at Mayaguez and eat somewhere in the city. But we ended on highway 10 from Adjuntas to Ponce and decided to eat in a Pizza place in Cabo Rojo. When we got there it was closed. So I remembered there was place call Buena Vibra close by and decided to eat here(first time). Plus cause the restaurant has two EV chargers it was a perfect trip. Charge up my vehicle while having great Puertorrican food. I had big arañitas with aguacate relleno with mariscos mixtos and churrasco. My wife had canastas with chicken. And to accompany the food a parcha mojito. Everything was delicious and food came in pretty fast. The menu has a lot of great options. Definitely coming back for another long roadtrip.

Best food, I had in Cabo Rojo! If you are looking for a spot with seafood, this is the place! I have Pineapple with seafood and it was amazing! The mojitos were good. The service was smooth and great! The menu is a speciality of seafood. Stuffed lobster avocado!

Wow where do I start from the lively atmosphere to the really good food and to the excellent service this is one of the best places I've been since coming to Puerto Rico I had the Cayo Blanco there is so much of it I could not finish My wife had the stuffed avocado and my daughter had the kids burger which was fantastic also plenty left over well worth it no matter where you are on the side of the island and we also had the flan and that tasted so fresh it tasted like he made it on the spot

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Loved the food, the people and the “Buena Vibra” 😉. I ate the Mini Volcano of Coconut breaded grouper stuffed with skirt steak in guava sauce… oh my! I’m coming back just for that. They also have a nice selection of beer on tap. The double IPA with what I ate was perfect.

Amazing food, great service, exceptional dining. The Cayo blanco was amazing. All dishes were delightful. If you are on the Cabo Rojo area stop by you won’t regret it.

I'm a lover of sea food so I really enjoyed my mofongo with shrimp. Waiting time just to get a table was a bit long.The mojito wasn't the best but it was good overall. It is a place for all ages, so you can go with the whole family to have quality time.

We had the carne frita with naranja, the jalapeño poppers and the buena vibra burgers. The carne frita was good but no taste of naranja. The burgers were ok. Don’t be confused though they are full size burgers not sliders. Attendance and atmosphere was good!

If you are looking to have a great culinary experience, Buena Vibra is the right place. They are a restaurant especialized in creative cuisine and have a varied menu, which consists of meats, fish, mofongos and much more. Their dishes are delicious and made at the moment you order, providing freshness in each dish. They have a variety of drinks and desserts. Dishes that we try and recommend are : pineapple filled with ceviche , avocados filled with skirt steak, cayó blanco y el Volcán de guayaba. Get to know them, visit them and enjoy excellent service and food.

Being Honest- Chuleta Kan kan needed to be fried more or the cuero side needed more time- should be brown and crispy not whitish and gummy! Grilled Churrasco was decent chimichurri sauce needs to be worked on and just a tad of this sauce was placed on top of the overpriced churrasco-$27 was to high for the size with a cup of rice- will try Dylan's next time- Fried wings for my daughter tastes normal- nothing to brag about! One thing I would say they need to something to prevent flies from invading your space outside- HORRIBLE eating while swatting flies from start to finish!

Good food, nice place and environment, and the staff too.

The food was amazing! The service was slow! The meal came out in bits and pieces. So while some had gotten their food others were waiting. Entrees came out before appetizers. More than a third of the party was done with their meal while the others hadnt even received their drinks! We left after they closed the kitchen and they were rushing us to leave even though they were slow. The wait staff knowledge about their portion sizes was minimal to say the least and they were rude. We had someone with a food allergy. We were told "They should try it, I have the same allergy and I can eat it because it's not fresh, it's processed!" Not exactly something you want to hear from a restaurant that claims everything is freshly made to order and not fast food. There was absolutely no concern for the safety of their patron. We were a large party, they refused to split our bill and would not accommodate us to facilitate the payment of over $500 plus we gave a very nice tip in cash. So instead of allowing our party to split the bill, 1 person had to over extend themselves and the rest of us had to cash app at the table. If you go here, bring cash.

My favorite place I've been here so far. The atmosphere is perfect, an all open design with good lighting and fully roofed. If you're a car enthusiast like me, you'll love it. The food is absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff, I felt very welcome as a white person 😆No such thing as fast food; if it's fast, it's not food! (Appropriate size parking lot too)

Brutal… you cant go wrong by visiting this place. Service is great but the food is amazing.

The restaurant is on the Beach. So it may be best if you enjoy the sunset as you wait for your meal. The food was good. My only distraction was the service. It was our first night in Puerto Rico, and we didn't understand the island time we would experience through out our stay. The only set back at this restaurant was that the wait staff wasn't designated specific tables. So we found it hard to know which waitress to speak with when we had questions about our meal. The portions were healthy & the food was fresh. The sunset was breathtaking. 🇵🇷

It is always good here. Fresh hot plates with lots of PR taste. Little price but good... hard to find parking, but there's always one. This rest is next to the beach/ocean. Amazing view and sunset is a most to see. Great seafood place. Excellent staff make your lunch/diner the best. Great drinks as well...

It was worth the trip from the US just to have the Mofongo. The seafood was so fresh and simply mouthwatering. The sangria and fresh juices were excellent. Definitely an excellent place to go on a date and celebrate an occasion. The views of the Caribbean Sea are spectacular.

Food is pretty good. Service was god awful. Server didn't allow us to sit where we asked even though it was an empty table. We waited a long time for our order to be taken and at least 1 full hour to receive our 1 hamburger and order of rice and beans. Hamburger of course was overcooked and dry. No surprise there when a burger takes under 9 minutes to cook. Rice and beans were just okay. Server would not allow me to pay unless she removed all plates from our table. I wanted to pay earlier and continue eating so that as soon as I am finished eating I can leave instead of waiting for their slow servers to come by. Likely will not eat here again. Truly disappointed.

The location and view are amazing! However the food is BAD and WAY overpriced. Service is extremely slow. I ordered chicken fingers for my son and it doesn’t even look like chicken. He refused to eat it. When I tried to break it into pieces, it was like rubber. My chicken tacos were chicken fingers in a flower tortilla. Save your time and money and just enjoy the sunset from the beach right outside.

Great place to unwind after a day at the beach, eat good food, and enjoy the scenery. It was a cloudy day but the sunset still made an appearance, albeit small. The drinks were great, grouper bites phenomenal, along with the mamposteado rice. The service was great. Unlike others, I didn't wait an exceptionally long time for my food. I'd recommend!

It’s a nice place with beach right next to it! The restaurant is well maintained and clean! But the cooking took tooooo long, we were there at 2.05 pm, we got our waitress and ordered at 2.12pm, we got our drink and my hubby got his appetizer not too late, but ever since we were left there at 3pm, I asked how much longer, one waitress told us another 30 minutes! We waited and our waitress came back and told us they cook fresh, not like Americans… finally at 3.23 we got our main! Mine seafood was overcooked and very salty, my salad was warm!

We got there right 10 min before sunset, perfect timing, it wasn't that busy so I was surprised it took a while to get the food. Even the drinks, we got rhem maybe 10 min after we got the food. On the other hand the place is so nice and welcomy the view is perfect for a sunset. Food was delicious. Definitely a must stop if u are in Conbate, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

0 stars for this place. They took OVER 2 hours to bring our food. They brought us hard rice and cold lobster. They continued to bring cold food. We asked for a manager and they couldn’t bring any one to us. They gave us no notice that the food was going to take over 2 hours. They were arguing with us over the bill we paid the bill that was over $400 . They followed us out and started taking pictures of our plates and began to argue with us. Do not recommend

We absolutely loved Annie's Place! It's a perfectly located restaurant right off the crystal blue ocean. The view is spectacular. Annie's has a great ambiance, with a stocked bar, amazing food, and good service. It's pricey but that's because it's more of a tourist spot than anything. We ordered an alcapurria de bistec, a side of trifongo, and chicken tacos. Everything tasted amazing and full of flavor. I am not kidding when I say the chicken tacos were the best I've ever had.This is easily the best spot in the area and I will definitely be returning in the future!

Wow I have to say the place is gorgeous and the service is fantastic and don't be scared the waitress spoke fluent English not that that matters since we are in there home and they where super friendly and last but not least the food was really fresh and tasty. Ps strong drinks

Ordered the lobster pasta, the seafood rice and the fish tacos. The lobster pasta with Alfredo sauce was delicious and there was a generous amount of lobster meat, I really enjoyed it. The seafood rice was tasty and included a good variety of seafood. The fish tacos were a HUGE portion, but could’ve done better with some tart or spicy elements. As for the sides, I highly recommend the sweet potato fries, they were very crispy. The frozen passion fruit margarita with salt rim was a great beachside drink and the flan de queso was good paired with the whipped cream—I also appreciated the accompanying fresh fruit. The service was a bit slow but it’s very busy so it’s understandable. Great view of the beach but terribly limited parking outside.

There wasn't a lot of space for parking but it wasn't too long of a walk to get into the restaurant. Locals recommended this place to family visiting the area. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try their food. The menu had a lot of traditional puerto rican choices but also normal items like a burger or pasta. I actually had soft tacos, beans and rice. Not too bad. Plus they had a barista serving Cafe lattes and a full bar. Nice place for a romantic night out. The entrance had a bad smell from the parking lot but wasn't noticeable inside.

Good place for stopping by and have a good meal. The peach sangria cocktail was good. I can’t tell about other cocktails because I mostly had beer. The catch of the day, the tostones and surullos were very good. It is open seating so you are at the mercy of the weather, wind, flies etc. So I advice to go when the weather is nice and not windy unless you don’t mind.

Stay away from here. Looks nice, awesome location but the food and service is terrible. I got the seafood soup, it was all oily no salt or any flavor, tastes like water down tomato soup. Guacamole is a spread bought from walmart, not made from scratch. People if you are going to pay for these prices you want authentic PuertoRican food. The mofongo made with butter no garlic or any flavor, the Piña Colada made from a sugarly mix not made with original juices, and the bugs wanted to get in it. There's a lot of bugs, flys ect. Most restaurant have some neon light for that. THE MUSIC, I LOVE ENGLISH CHRISTMAS MUSIC BUT IF IM ON VACATION I WANT TO LISEN TO SPANISH TROPICAL OR TRADITIONAL MUSIC. Hey I'm on Vacation in PuertoRico. I WAS ANNOYED WITH "THE ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU" WHILE LOOKING AT THE SUNSET. The waiter lied and said she will change it and turned it off until I placed my order and then put it back on. I asked why she didn't change it and she said HEY YOU NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER HERE. But I told her there is no American people here. She walked away before I can finish talking. Super rude. Told the owner about the food and she got mad and took all my dishes away and said even though you ate some of this food I will not charge you. And walked away mad because I told her and she knew her cook sucks. The best thing I had in this place was coffee. She should make it a coffee shop. Such nice location for food to be so awful. Hey have a coffee and take pictures but do not bother with the food.

Good view. Casual dining. By the best beach of Puerto Rico. Just swimming in beach is quite unpleasant. I was bitten by ocean bugs unexpectedly and felt pain. The celechie mahi-mahi is too sweet for me. I do not like the plantain and breadfruit are only served in fried format. I like the seared mahi-mahi and cauliflower side. I enjoy the flan both vanilla and coconut flavor.

It’s a popular place so expect to wait. When we were seated they let us know there was only one chef for the entrees and there is an hour wait for that. It was the end of the day after some sightseeing in the area so we ordered some apps and drinks and just enjoyed the view while we waited for the main dishes. It’s a great place on the beach with great views. If you are not in a hurry and want some decent food stop by Annie’s place.

Beautiful setting by the beach in the Poblado de Boquerón with a nice selection of Puerto Rican cuisine. The Mofongo with shrimps and garlic sauce was an interesting experience. The staff is very friendly and the service was quite fast, plus they offer tasty complimentary bread with herbs and oil while you wait.

This place is amazing, really great and fast service. Ideal also for big family and kids. Not to mention the food was delicious. Thanks for an amazing experience we really would go back to this place again on our next visit.

I have been a customer of Galloway's for many many years. I live in Orlando but I visit my family in Puerto Rico at least twice a year. I got to know the owner and staff for a very long time. I was very sad when I saw pictures of the restaurant after hurricane Maria. When I went back in January I was very happy to see it was being rebuilt. I just visited again on July 7th and my first visit was Galloway's. It looked great! However, I was so upset with the service. I was by myself and it took an hour to get my food, linguine with shrimp. The service was horrendous and to my surprise so was the food. The menu changed dramatically and so has the quality of the food. Prices also went up. I spent $35 for the food and three beers. It is nowhere near the same without Alice, Gladys and Dora. I will not be coming back.

Beautiful atmosphere with plenty of space for large parties.

Beautiful spot for dinner to sit down and have dinner. I would highly recommend sitting outside on the deck. I got the mixed seafood risotto, which was very generously sized and tasted delicious. Had the molten cake for dessert, also very good. Service was so friendly!

We had the dorada plate, lobster plate and octopus salad on the side. This food was so delicious that I’m back home craving it. Don’t sit outside if you don’t like flies at all while eating.

This restaurant has been the best in all the restaurants that we have been here in PR! And the view that you have is another level. If you choose eat outside you will eat on the water!!! I’m not kidding 😍 they have a gorgeous balcony to eat your meal. The food was 20 of 10!!!! And the staff is super nice 😊 we drove 2 hours and we don’t regret that 👌🏽

This was a very good experience off the shore plenty of outdoor seating it's very romantic for sunsets listening to the Ocean seafood surf and turf basically you will enjoy coming here and spending a good date night with someone you really care about or come by yourself , you are able to get here by boats or jet ski early in the day you're not going to go wrong with the appetizers that are very plentiful the menu is very reasonable and parking is plentiful cuz they have their own come to Nautica.

Let’s start with that restaurant is spotless clean! Covid measures are followed very strictly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was delicious, and the piña coladas were delicious. What I think they need to improve is the service. The waitress took to long to come check at us at the table. Besides that an excellent experience.

Beautiful place to go for a sunset dinner. We got a table quickly and the cocktails were good. However, be careful when ordering fish. I got red snapper "Cajun style" expecting it to be fried and seasoned, it was served grilled with a red sauce poured over top. The fish was overcooked and tough, not at all flakey; honestly I couldn't even eat it and that is extremely rare for me, I can usually eat something even if I don't love it... The rest of the food was good but admittedly pretty basic, my girlfriend got chicken carbonara and we shared the appetizer sampler of fried foods; both were fine but nothing we had blew us away. I wouldn't come back for the food but I would return for cocktails and maybe an appetizer on the pier to enjoy that beautiful PR sunset 🌅

Zero complaints about this place. The atmosphere, as always the VIEW, the food... everything was good. Service was good, empanadas, fried whole snapper mixed drinks, I mean all of it. Worth the visit. Indoor and outdoor seating, inside air-conditioned

The service was just okay. I think it was partially because I didn't speak Spanish. They only had a couple of people to speak English. The food was alright, nothing special. It's a really cool area, though. The outside view was amazing, with large fish swimming around in the water.

If you're looking for a good Seafood Restaurant in Joyudas , Cabo Rojo area , this place is one you need to visit. The food is awesome, the fish fillet of fresh fish are awesome , the sampler are good too. They have a awesome view to the beach , to see a awesome sunset , I will recommend this place for sure.

The food here was delicious. I had the mofongo with chicken and the salsa criolla. 😋😋😋 I was stuffed but wanted to keep eating it. Sunset at the place is also beautiful. 🌅 My sister had the red snapper and she said it was delicious.

This place has become our favorite restaurant! Cozy, friendly and delicious food!! We always have a great time and we really enjoy the food. I recommend this place, also it's not that expensive!!!

Is a very relax restaurant. Second time here different years and we always find it pleasant Also they have a nice menu to choose from fish meat salads kids etc very lovely place. Every time we come to PR we planned to come by.

Amazing place! It has a really great ambiance very tropical and relaxing. The food tastes great and it’s a perfect serving. The waiter are attentive to every need and ask if you need anything else every few minutes.

We have been here twice for lunch and enjoyed both times. So far we have ordered wings, fish nuggets, BLT and shrimp entrees All the food was great. The sandwiches are very filling. The shrimp were a good size and value. The food and drinks came out fairly quickly. The service was good too!

We just spent the weekend in Boquerón and were looking for breakfast after spending a couple of hours at the beach very early in the morning on Saturday. We came across Pelican's and decided to try it even though we read mixed reviews... we liked it so much that we went back on Sunday morning after the beach as well! The place is very quaintly decorated, very clean and the a/c is great if you're looking to get out of the sun and heat. The staff was very nice, attentive and the service was fast and pleasant. They had a Brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday and we tried the carnivore omelette, the breakfast sandwich (Criollo) and a breakfast plate that included your choice of pancakes or waffles, your choice of eggs, hash browns and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Everything was very good, good portions and very tasty. They serve good coffee, and I loved the lemonade. I can only attest as to the Brunch service right now, but will come back whenever we visit Boquerón again. Don't get too hung up on the few bad reviews, give it a try! Hopefully you'll like it as much as we did!

Overpriced very basic, non impressive food. Expected a little more quality for the recently raised prices. Came because the google map menu had attractive & reasonable prices. The server said the menu changed “yesterday”. Ok. prices are up 50-80% compared to whats listed (what was $10 was now $15, what was $12, $20) I get inflation but this was a bit much considering the food was not even all that good. Bone dry bacon. Salty frozen fries. Super sugary and dry french toast. NO FRESH FRUIT. Only pot coffee, no expresso or tea. Store bought sugary juice drinks. Basic sides arent allowed to be substituted for other sides. First server came and didnt even say hello or smile, just tossed the menus and disappeared. I probably would not have written this review if the experience wasnt so meh and the price hike.

This little restaurant was a pleasing surprise. We were a party of five vegetarians and one of us has severe seafood allergies. They took care of us fantastically. We had the cheese balls and mozzarella sticks as apps. Then we ordered vegetarian pizza, a side of yuca mofongo, plantain mofongo, plus rice and beans to share amongst ourselves. The mofongos were my fav!! The service was great and their beer selection too.

0/5 stars! Very disappointed in the quality of food served to us. We ordered the cheesy omelet and the starving pelican, both plates were cold and when we told the waiter about it the food was reheated in the microwave. I would compare this brunch to the cheap complimentary breakfast foods given to you at a low quality hotel. Even the coffee was watered down! If you're looking to spend a lot of money on poor quality food this is the place for you … might as well go to Burger King!

Simple frenchtoast and Nutella filled frenchtoast...yummy. Great service and friendly staff.
