Restaurant
Neptuno's Club Restaurant is a top-rated dining spot in Boca Chica, offering a mix of Caribbean classics, seafood, and international cuisine. The restaurant caters to vegetarian and vegan diners as well. While the food is highly praised for its quality, some visitors find the prices to be on the higher side. However, many appreciate the delicious dishes such as calamari, tostones, dumplings, and yucca fries.
Upscale venue with prices to match. This is a great place to linger after a good lunch and enjoy some drinks by the ocean. A lot calmer and cleaner than the Pelicano Beach Club next door, but twice as expensive. My lambi guisado (stewed conch) was delicious and the mojito was much better than the one served at Pelicano. If you come for lunch, as I did, stay until the evening and make it count by going for a swim or simply lounge around until the sun goes down. But be aware that the surrounding area is quite poor and dirty and I see no reason in spending any time around Boca Chica, unless you need to spend the night 15-20 minutes from the Las America International airport. There are plenty of much nicer beach towns around this country.

BEAUTIFUL place. We couldn’t have had a better spot. The octopus and risotto were just amazing. It’s a bit pricey but you’re paying for that stunning location as well. The only downside was the service, not bad just really slow sometimes. Was hard for us to ask for the bill. But you know, that’s to be expected in the country!

I gave four stars just because of the food. The atmosphere was great, even when we went during the night on a Monday it seemed like a great place and good service. About the food, we ordered fried calamari as an appetizer, and I think the portion was small. The food was good but not great FOR THE PRICE. It's an expensive place. I ordered a seafood penne and 2 beers and I ended paying more than $70 USD. I think the quality needs to improve to charge that kind of money.

I absolutely LOVED this place. I came here with two other people. I got the frozen margaritas. I recommend the chinola one since it taste like real chinola Soo GOOD. I got the fried fish with tostones omg the food AMAZING!!!! I thought it would be more expensive but for three people it was pretty spot on. And let me tell you, you can eat then go into the beach that’s right there next to our table. I’m definitely coming back to this place!! What an amazing atmosphere and ambiance. Cristobar was our waiter and he was soooo great and attentive ❤️

Pristine and elegant restaurant. The wood deck over the boca chica beach waters is phenomenal. The deck had multiple access to the clean and turquoise waters, it felt like getting into a pool. We always come to this place because we love the ambiance, the music, the food and the attention from the server, the bar tender and all the team in charge of the customers. Excellent customer service!!! The food was delicious, but a bit expensive which is probably due to the elegancy and privacy of the place.
elpidio caba — Google review
Great food, no clue what the other reviewers mean. The site is great, not every day do you eat 20 feet from boats. Everything that we tried was good, it’s worth at least a try if you're staying in Boca Chica or going to the airport.
Spaghettioli — Google review
The food is delicious but can take a while to arrive! Make sure if you come here that you're not in a rush! Smoker friendly outdoor patio and cold beers!

There used to be a Pearl in Boca Chica, but unfortunately it isn't that anymore in terms of quality, service, and an overall experience. There is a sense that the workers are not being paid enough because they don't want to serve the people. People at this establishment actually served the waiters by providing them with attention. Fried fish and plantains cost an average of $56 dollars. The cost is higher than Miami, NYC, and London, depending on the location, but it is still a fair comparison with well-known cosmopolitan cities like Miami, NYC, and London. I was surprised at how empty it was for a Saturday. It would be great if they could improve their service and food quality. The price of the fish is based on pounds, and they only sell fish weighing more than 1.5 pounds, so the experience feels highly commercialized.

Location location location. This place has unbelievable views. The food was delicious but slow to come. To be honest the location made up for it however if you are in a rush it may not be the place. Food was very fresh and amazing.

One of the best spots in Boca Chica. Beatifull place, very warm and cosy atmosphere. Lots of different spaces to to alone, family, large groups. Beach place but kinda sophisticated. The food was delicious and comes with a beatifull presentation also. Service was flawless. Parking may be difficult but they have their own valet, shared with hotel.
Claudio Tokeiama — Google review
Very fancy place where they won’t let you sit in a certain area if they don’t think you will spend over a certain amount of money there. The food was really good but definitely overpriced. The calamari was cooked to perfection, the tostones were perfectly crispy. The dumplings were okay, but a little cold. The yucca fries were perfectly golden and crispy. Honestly only got appetizers and a bunch of drinks cause the place was way over priced. We each spent $100 usd for a few appetizers and 5 drinks. Literally a pasta was over ₽1,500 which we weren’t expecting. The service was slow but the view was amazing and the live music was also really nice. I would definitely recommend dressing up fancy if you come here and expect to spend at least $200 USD per person.
Kelly Doan — Google review
Out friends took us here and the view is amazing. The plus is being able to go in the water via the stairs to cool off and then enjoy the evening. The food and drinks were amazing, would definitely go again amd recommend to anyone.

Neptunos es fenomenal!! The view was breath taking and the staff was awesome. Fidel attending us and he was amazing! He made the experience all the more special for our evening. A must visit if in Boca Chica!!! Gracias por una noche inolvidable
Jocelyn Pena — Google review
Super over priced for what you get! This is definitely a place that you pay for the experience of being able to walk right into the water which we did. The food was a little below average for taste (dumplings were pretty average and the ceaser salad barely has any ceaser taste and the drinks were okay) and the service was okay. The people in front were the nicest ones (receptionist). Spent a lot of money for the little that we got and didn’t feel worth it when there are better places a little further down right on the beach or cheaper and amazing food!

Its all about the atmosphere.Had breakfast..the breakfast fell really flat.Pricey for a below quality food. The place is under repair but i do understand and its all part of upkeeping à place.Service was ok. The coffee was good.We ordered our first cup of cuppucino -ok and had a second cup of cafe con leche which taste more like a cappucino and better than the cappucino. Well...we paid for the view.

Food and drinks were good but service was terrible😭we showed up and it took an hour for us to get a server than it took another hour for only two drinks and a pizza and an hour passed by we kept trying to get another drink and nobody would help us😭we asked for the check multiple times and nobody would help us. We were about to just leave but the hostess helped us get the check thank god! Only the hostess and drinks were good. We spent 3-4 hours here and only saw our waiter one time!

If you are looking for a lovely setting on the water, this is it. Pelicano's offers good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and direct access to the amazingly clear blue waters of Boca Chia.
Lei'orum Travel And Entertainment — Google review
The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. The smell of the sea, the waves, the sun, the sound of the water crashing on the stones, simply beautiful, but this same feeling can be appreciated in other places. The experience that I have had in the place is not bad, but I have a few discomforts. Starting with the customer service, they are friendly, but unfortunately they take a long time to serve, for the few customers that there are the times I have gone, it is for them to serve quickly, however, they take a long time to take the orders and deliver the dish; outside of this, it's fine. I feel that the food can be improved, it tastes good but it is not up to the price it has, which is the other thing that I was going to mention, for the quality of the food and the quantity, the price is very high, it is certainly being paid the view. Overall, I think it's a good place for a moment's gathering, or if you want a semi-private beach, without many people bothering you, this is the right one.

What a fabulous place to spend a few hours or the day there. We enjoyed great drinks, amazing food and an awesome atmosphere with a beautiful view. Easy place to find with lots of parking. The facility was extremely clean and well taken care of. Access to water is available so don’t forget to bring your swimsuit to enjoy the crystal clear water.
Iggy Deez — Google review
The place is beautiful but the food wasn’t good at all. And my family and I didn’t have a welcoming experience like the others folks (non-Dominican) perhaps because we were locals. And I say that because we witnessed it. We ordered shrimp in garlic sauce and coconut shrimp and on both plates the shrimps WERE NOT cleaned. We had to return the dish. The food was cold which didn’t make any sense since it’s a weekday and early in the day (1:30pm). Also the plates, utensils and cups were all dirty. The ice served tasted as if it was not made with filtered water. All I can say is I hope they improve the welcoming treatment of ANY consumer (local or not) and that they be a little delicate with the presentation of their serve, food and utensils especially for the price of their subpar food. We went because it was recommended but after our experience, we were afraid to try anything else….not even a cocktail

Restaurant
Bocana Beach & Club is an enchanting beachfront eatery with seashell chandeliers and a delightful atmosphere. Situated just steps away from the pristine beach, diners can savor a scrumptious dinner while enjoying the breathtaking sunset. The menu offers delectable options such as fried fish, fettuccine Alfredo, grilled vegetables, and refreshing Pina coladas. Although street vendors are present, they are respectful and understanding of personal preferences.
Breathtaking Beachfront restaurant! It’s magical the moment you walk in with their seashell chandeliers throughout the place and beautiful ambiance. Few steps away to the crystal clear beach where you can enjoy a deliciously prepared dinner while watching the sunset. Had their fried fish, fettuccine Alfredo, grilled vegetables and a few Piña colada’s all which were amazing! Yes there are lots of street vendors that approach but understandable that’s how ppl make their living. If not interested, just say so and they won’t bother you. Service was excellent and staff and food were great!

I love this place, prices are reasonable and the food is delish, good portions. My 2 sisters and I had the whole fish fried with tostones and lemonades plus 1 latte after dinner. It was approximately 6000 pesos, about $100 dollars total for 3 people, approximately. You can't beat that....and the place is beautiful.

Amazing grilled snapper at great value, beach front dining, beautifully designed space, and very attentive staffs and owner/manager. I had an issue getting an Uber from the restaurant (the drivers asked for more than what Uber quotes and payment in cash), and the hostess helped me to negotiate with the driver in Spanish. I really appreciate the staffs who go above and beyond for the customers. Some of them speak relatively good English or would try to get someone who could help in communicating.

This place is super worth it if you're in Santo Domingo and want to have a little escapade to the beach. The food was nice, but the drinks were the best. The waiter said that they made the best piñas coladas in Boca Chica so we tried it and the delivered. However, my favorite drink so far was the coco loco, it's a dangerous drink because you'll just want them to keep coming 😭 It has a direct access to the beach, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was nice to us. + Try the coco loco, do yourself a favor. - There's a lot of vendors coming by and offering massages, which can be a little annoying after a while specially the massage girls, who will just give you a "free try" and touch you without your consent. We rejected them a few times and after a while they left us alone.

Clean beach and facilities. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. It is a public beach so you will have vendors at your table trying to sell you stuff.
Lisa Sanderson — Google review
Place itself nice and beauty . But! Super annoying people offering you to buy something or massage every 2 minutes, just keep on breaking relaxation moments. With waiters another story, you have to catch them yourself and funny that they will ask for the tips similar to your bill after no service provided))
Anton Kasatkin — Google review
Food was great, you can taste the freshness. The staff were very friendly and could understand English well. This do have locals coming around to sell services and items, but you can always respectfully decline. This restaurant sits on the beach, views are absolutely stunning of the crystal turquoise water!
Nicole Marsh — Google review
Great spot to have a family day, the water was clean clear like a pool. It will be nice to limit the amount of vendors hovering around.
Julio C Sapeg — Google review
The actual staff of the beach club are great it’s the millions of other persons that want to sell you something every second that the issue. don’t go here if you plan on being able to eat in peace because they will swarm you and pest you from the massage women that don’t take no for an answer to the larimar vendors it’s a great beach and food was great but we didn’t stay past 1 hour cause we were getting frustrated with having to say no thank you every 10 second. there’s no privacy and you can’t take your eye off your bag not even a second. And there’s beggars girl that is very rude that will keep pestering you if you don’t give her any money. if you go there don’t take uber cause the drivers are also sketchy and will try to charge you double the actual fare i think the club should close off to the vendors cause they bring down the quality of the place with the constant pestering and you have to be say no five times before they go away 🙄 annoying
Kimberley Morris — Google review
Okay, visually it’s a great place. It’s not the best beach but it’s okay, the food is also okay. My issue is the environment and solicitors. I am completely appalled. Everyone is there just to try to make money off you. You’re being asked to purchase goods/services every two minutes. You’re always being interrupted and people use deceptive tactics to get more money. THE LOCAL SOLICITORS MAY RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE. Some people are left alone once the service is declined, others are pressured and in some cases end up on the receiving end of a rude attitude once they refuse to purchase. I don’t think it’s worth it. I’ll definitely be back ti the Dominican Republic but I’ll never be back to Boca Chica, EVEN THE UBER DRIVERS IN THIS AREA USE DECEPTION TO TRY TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU. The Uber driver that took us there from Gazcue recommended another beach because of his recollection of and allusion to people being there with the purpose of trying to steal your bags or items in them.
Taje Bowen — Google review
Do not go here if you're a tourist!! Everything was overshadowed by them trying to steal from us. They were aggressive and intimidated us into paying 7 times as much as what was listed on the menu. We tried to talk them down and they were absolutely horrible.

Pequena Suiza is a highly regarded breakfast spot in Boca Chica, known for their American breakfast with pancakes that are incredibly satisfying. The dishes are always prepared using fresh ingredients and the flavors are consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a charming setup that gives off oasis-like vibes, making it a delightful place to dine. It's worth noting that the lunch menu is also highly recommended.
They offer Italian cuisines but the seasoning are adjusted in their way. Big portion, reasonable price, and delicious food. Love my vegetable soup and bolognese pasta. Tiramisu texture is a little off but tastes amazing. At night, the street will turn into a walking street so guests can sit on the sidewalk and on the side of the street comfortably.

Named as Swiss restaurant but let’s say Italian & European fusion. I have been in restaurant twice, in both experience I was fully satisfied. The portions are big enough for not to order anything extra. First time, I had red snapper with salad and a juice drink. The fish filets were cooked (I ordered 2 filets) well and it was delicious Second time, I got oriental paste (pene) and asked them to replace the curry cream salsa with pomodoro sauce which they accepted. The plate was deep and I think I can say that it was around 1.5 portion of another restaurant’ pasta meal. Shrimps in the pasta was cleaned and without shells. If I ever travel back to Boca Chica, I’d come back to this restaurant. 2/2 thank you

Nice little place. Food was good. Had a ceasar salad followed by a steak (slightly overcooked) . Could be a good idea to book as there are not that much seats available. Not sure about having Swiss fondue at 35 degrees Celsius, but seems some people don't mind 😁

Tiny hidden treasure trove! The outdoor patio is beautiful and clean. We sat inside for the AC, but it was just as gorgeous. The food was absolutely delicious along with the presentation! This restaurant is on a strip of bars and restaurants so there’s plenty of options to chose from. I definitely recommend

Seafood and pastas. The food was good, service was outstanding. Dining in the open air (as it is an option at night) is always great for me. Only downfall is the "vendors" and "others" bothering you for something while trying to enjoy your dinner.
Bob Isham — Google review
Have been coming here for several years. The food is always good. But lately you have to wait very long for your food! Today with 1 hour wait and as the only guests around restaurant it is too long. The staff lacks attention to the customers. Drinks after order you almost always have to get up and run inside to make yourself noticed! There is more action and laughter in the kitchen than just looking at the customers if everything is ok. This is just the Dominican mentality!!!! Very sad!!!

I basically live here (at least at the moment, while I’m holidaying) and it’s great. Good coffee, wonderful staff (all of them are lovely, though I’ve mainly been served by Alex, who is one of my favourite people in Boca Chica - and that’s saying something!) and perfect for sunning yourself by the beach. If you want sun loungers, get there early (at least on the weekend). Haven’t tried the food but neither have you, so you might as well risk it, based on all the positives. Say hi to Alex from me.
