I have never experience racism in my country the way I had it here. Laying on the beach asking for a waiter to bring us menu and everything, and the guy told us they were not serving at the beach. Wrong. They were serving, but not black customers, they were literally bringing everything to the white people on the beach. We asked, and the waiter couldn’t even answer us

We came here with a different expectation but this place blew us away. We had delivery, table service, and cabana service and it was all amazing. Be patient when you come here because it is on island time and they want to get things done right. All the food, service, and accommodations were outstanding. You can wade in the beach, swim in the infinity pool, or drinks from the Beach Club. We will definitely be back.

Had a great experience the first visit...our waiter was WELLINGTON Great service. Not so much the 2nd time! Ordered 2 Appetizers: chicken tenders & Octopus. They brought 1 chicken tenders & 2 Octopus (!) We kept the extra one out of curtesy...it looked & was actually good. BUT When we got the bill .... we were over charged for the appetizers... The menu said $1100 pesos for the OCTOPUS... they charged $1650 (!?) When I requested a correction they said that they brought us a different type of Octopus than what was ordered (!!😫??) But none of the Octopus dishes on their menu was that price. After an hour back and forth the "manager Wellington" made a slight change. Saying the new unstated price is actually $2000 but he'll lower it to $1200 (Still more than the price on the menu) When I spoke he would ignore me completely and only address my husband. Was very rude and disrespectful... Until I told him I'm the one paying the bill & I'm the one writing the review! This is my country... I love it here. I love coming to playa nueva... but this is unacceptable. I'm very disappointed, specifically the beach club service today. Beware.... check prices, ask questions, double check your bill.

In itself a very nice place to relax, bathe and eat. Since the restaurant of the golf club is closed, we were driven there in the golf car, which was really very friendly from the employee. We had a very good breakfast there and enjoyed the time. Unfortunately we were not served the drinks that are included in the breakfast, which is a really great achievement. At the pool we were fine until the pool boy noticed that we were having fun. He immediately stopped our games and diving through the openings and we then disappeared again. The same thing happened every time a different family came. At least 2-3 times an hour. So you can write a big headline at the entrance: Please don't try to have fun! I know it's about liability but common sense is killed off by it and when no one was in the pool then he was satisfied ..... the only question is how long it can go like this .....

The staff at the beach club were attentive and friendly, always ensuring that I had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious food and drinks offered at the beach club's restaurant and bar. The menu had a wide variety of options, Every dish I tried was good . The service was also professional . I can't wait to return to Playa Nueva Romana's beach club on my next visit, as it has undoubtedly become one of my favorite beach destinations.

Amazing service and delicious food, takes a while to get to the tablet the food but the ambient and the people is really good.

I have eaten here several times and always have a good experience. Excellent customer service and management, unlike other restaurants in San Pedro. They know how to treat customers well. Easy parking and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend for a casual dinner with friends or family. Definitely family friendly and I loved the oatmeal raisin cookies.

Picture this, you're in a date, you're also really hungry, your date is too, you order something quite simple so you can eat fast and get going to the party next door... They still will take longer than 30min. Although, the chicken croquette are quite good, actually worth the f-ing wait.

Loved the place! Totally recommend. Safe area close to the Malecón of San Pedro. Casual but confy place. Doesn't have parking, but you can use the premises. Excellent place to grab a beer, a quick bite or spent couple of hors chatting.

Would not allow our service dog they tried to put a table in the garage for us.The last time we went without our dog the food was very bad and service very slow.

I love this place, the pizza is so good and don't forget the pastas or just for a beer . I will definitely come back to taste the super sandwich that they have 😊👍

The food was tasteless and the service was not good. The only good thing about this place was the nice view. Better in the evening when the sun is going down.

It's a luxury restaurant for this area. So it will cost more than usual. Great scenary view. The food was excellent, slow very slow but excellent. The service wasn't focused they were more interested in engaging around than cleaning the table or closing the tab. But in general was good.

This is now a trending place in San Pedro de Macoris, a must go. I personally have visited many times during my last stay in SPM. A very well needed place in this city, nice ambient, decent prices and a vast Menu full of seafood and land dishes. Good cocktails are freshly prepared upon ordered as well. If you are trying to have a good time by the side of the HIGUAMO River, then this is the place you must visit.

My boyfriend took me here on our first date. The live band was awesome, the drinks were delicious, food was fantastic. Nice wait staff. He proposed to me here!

It's by the water. Beautiful view. The food was great. There is parking. They have a lower outside level, an upper outside level and for a more intimate setting they have indoor dining as well. I would recommend.

The taste of the food was good but when I took out a portion to eat from a plate, I found a piece of plastic bag in my food.

The food, service, and atmosphere were very good. I left a very generous tip and instructed that the charges on my card should be in pesos. When I left the amount was confirmed in pesos, however when I got back to the USA and saw my statement, it was in dollars which added $15 USD to the bill. This was not my instruction. Be careful of the currency exchanges when you eat here. Had I known that they were going to charge me other than what was instructed the charges and tips would have been different. Carry cash and try not to use a credit card from the US.

Great restaurant by the water's edge. Food was awesome and came out relatively quick. I was there late on a saturday night near closing time and there was a live band playing good music. Parking could be difficult as this restaurant is located on a seemingly dead-end street and not very attractive place coming into the street. You can easily miss the entrance to the street if not paying attention. The food is not that cheap, but it's worth it and the ambiance looking out into the water is calming and romantic.

Came here to celebrate my best friend birthday. Food was amazing, had the red snapper. Fish sticks, shrimp and sangrias. Food was really good and and very tasty. Told the host it was her birthday, they came in with all the instruments and say her happy birthday. They went above and beyond. She loved it. This is must visit place, never disappointed when I visit

Food sucks this is not authentic mexican food I dont know what the hell is this. tacos and burritos arent suppose to look like this and there really small portions. They need real mexicans in that kitchen.

The place made me feel like I was in Mexico it had a “ Chavo del Ocho “ theme seats and all which were uncomfortable , that being said the food was good but pricey considering the small portions and the drinks weren’t good watered down or no alcohol in them. The wait staff seemed under pressure maybe cause the owner was out that night and most nights from what I hear. Drinks took a while as they don’t have a bartender, the waitress makes the drinks food came out fairly quick. The night I went they have live music I don’t of other nights . I would probably go back if I have nothing else to do.

The food and service are great; I've seldom gotten cold or bland food. The problem is that tey will charge you extra if you pay with credit/debit card, even though tax laws say they aren't supposed to. That's why I give them a 3; I'll give them 5 when they stop doing that.

The food was delicious and authentic Mexican. The best we have had in the DR. The service was good and friendly! We will be back when we are in town again! 😊

Me and my GF love tacos, and I must say that if tacos is what you want you must come to this place, since there's not other place in SP with such quality in their product, I highly recommend coming here to enjoy some tacos in a more Caribbean style.

It tasted just like what we get here in the states. The McFlurry was vanilla ice cream with an apple pie crunched up on the top. It did make mine and my husbands stomachs upset though.

As a foreigner I look forward to different menu items than in the U.S in this trip I found the chicken Mac yess the big Mac but with chicken patties it was awesome not disappointed at all their chicken strips are awesome and their crispy chicken wraps are good also besides that the food taste exactly the same as in the U.S. it was good and prices are basically the same as anywhere around the world just in Dominican pesos meaning not a cheap spot lol

This is jus another Macdonald restaurant. In this you will an area for children to play and have a nice time. Most the time is full With people celebrating birthday celebrations 👏!

This is our second visit. We had a birthday party for our daughter. The staff at the party was outstanding. The atmosphere was not all that desirable. The kids food was great. They didn't secure the section for the birthday party. So it was very disappointing as we paid for a secure area. Anyone could show up without being invited. We wouldn't have another one there. My order of crispy bacon was overcooked and dry. I would not eat there again. One good takeaway was the young ladies at the party. They were great, and they contributed to the party success overall. As it was very overpriced.
