Mount Tapochau

Mountain peak
Nature & Parks
Mountains
Mount Tapochau is a 1,555-foot peak that served as a strategic location during WWII. The peak offers sweeping views and can be reached via hiking trail. However, caution must be exercised on rainy days as Sedans may not be suitable for the terrain. It is recommended to switch to manual mode while driving and maintain a slow speed on the way down to avoid harming any friendly dogs or causing dust clouds that could damage nearby homes.
I recommend taking the route that goes from the east side, and avoid any east side roads, especially from Garapan as you will definitely need a 4x4 and you will scratch your car on shrubbery. All in all this was our favorite spot on the island with wide 360 views of the entire island
Boram Kim — Google review
This place is amazing. If you happen to be on Saipan on a clear sunny day, make this one of highest priorities. The view is so beautiful. You can see Saipan end to end and you'll be able to see Tinian and other islands as well. We went on a cloudy day and we're still able to soak in the beautiful views. There are a good amount of stairs here an lots of uneven grounds, but very manageable to walk on. Manamko may need some assistance at this site. There is no charge to enter. We do recommend you bring a more robust car and don't drive here in a sedan if it is raining. Majority of the road is unpaved but manageable at the time of writing. Our friend who is a local was amazed how smoothed out the road was. Note the Pacific games are next week so they are probably preparing all the sites on Saipan for the influx of visitors. It may be more or less bumpy when you go.
Victor San Gil — Google review
Amazing views.. Easy road to get to..
jeffrey Waddle — Google review
Great place for drone footage. Do not bring a Sedan on a rainy day or the day after. I drove a Sedan on a dry day with no problem. It is best to switch the transmission to manual mode and adjust as needed. Please please, drive slow on the way down. The friendly dogs you passed on the way up may panic and you may accidentally run them over. You would also be responsible for a dust cloud ruining people's homes.
Adriana Julie Benson — Google review
Any car can reach the parking lot. I have done it with a Toyota Yaris. Just drive carefully and you will be fine. It is quite windy there, so it might be wise not wearing loose clothing like skirts.
刘若涵 — Google review
Road condition is horrible. Do not try if you don’t have off-road vehicle 4wd. Warning big pot holes and steep rocky hills. We had a family SUV in front of us trying to go up a steep hill but failed multiple times. When they succeeded they drove dangerously fast to go up; it was almost like a plane taking off it had to build speed by backing up. I was watching with anxiety just looking at them go. Almost went too fast and went over to the other side of the road.
flameout12345 — Google review
History and travel buffs will appreciate the panoramic views of the highest point of the island. Parts of the unpaved road are rough and lower rental vehicles should not attempt this.

Isleta Mañagaha

Mentioned on
Island
Isleta Mañagaha is a popular tourist destination in Saipan, with crystal clear waters that are perfect for water activities such as snorkeling and diving. The island tends to be very crowded during peak hours, especially with Chinese and Korean tourists on packaged tours. To avoid the crowds, it is recommended to visit after lunchtime. Despite its popularity among sea lovers, the food options on the island are not great so visitors may want to consider bringing their own food.
Do not come and go from Saipan without seeing this fabulous island!! Remote, beautiful, awe inspiring.
Sandra Young — Google review
Very crowded by Chinese group tourists and Koreans, so-called, packaged tour visitors. It is recommended to go after after lunch like 1pm because most of them leave before or after lunch time. Scorching SUN but transparent sea will surprise you!

One of the best things to do when in Saipan. Make sure and go snorkeling if not diving. Beautiful place even if you just swim!

Micro Beach is a well-liked destination for swimming and watching the sunset, featuring pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach is surrounded by lush palm trees and numerous resorts. Its picturesque location provides an idyllic setting for relaxation, with plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun or simply enjoy a lazy day. Additionally, it's perfect for families with kids as it offers ample space without being overcrowded.
What a nice spot to cap off your days. Sunsets here with the cabana bar are fantastic. Highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful Beach 🌊🌴✨️
nella igisomar — Google review
Honestly I was a little disappointed with this beach. I had heard it talked up so much that it just didn't live up to expectations. It is tucked away beind a resort so parking is pretty far away, and the resort is closed (Covid) so the beach is dirty and not well kept right now. The sand close to the ocean was very nice and soft, so that was a plus, but the big beachy area was covered in leaves, otherwise it would have been really nice. The water around this beach is not the best for snorkeling because the waves do come right up to the sand so the visibility isn't great, but really fun for kids to play, it does have a floating line to mark a swim area.
Sammi Holt — Google review
Beautiful white beach can be some seaweed, At low tide you can walk out almost a mile to Managaha if not for the reef and channel LOL. Couple alright hotels right there. Sunsets always good in Saipan. I recommend Citron on ice and alot of ice-water. And sunglasses, the glare and white sand gets intense. On one of the ships you can still see offshore 1994-1995(IIRC)

The American Memorial Park is a well-maintained and unique National Park that features a World War II monument, playgrounds, sports facilities, and 30 acres of protected wetlands. It also boasts numerous varieties of flowers with captivating fragrances that visitors can enjoy for hours or even days. The park has a great little museum with thought-provoking historical displays showcasing photos and era pieces that paint a picture of the WW2 scene in Saipan.
This is a very beautiful park, especially if you get away from the busy areas. The quiet, secluded corners, and the beach up there are where it's at. Definitely recommend a stroll up here
CJ Houston — Google review
Definitely a nice little museum if you like the war museums. They have a 10 min video about the history of the war and how Saipan was affected. There wasn’t a brochure with a map and the monuments aren’t well marked. The grounds are fairly sprawling and the walks are lined with flame trees. They also offer a weekly fishing program that seems to be popular with local children.
Arcadia Parson — Google review
Wonderful place to spend hours, if not days soaking in the many fragrances of numerous varieties of flowers alone. This is a very well maintained park that should be visited often. Whether on a family outing, or just by yourself, be sure to take your camera and lots of batteries. I did!

Suicide Cliff is a significant memorial site on Saipan where numerous Japanese individuals committed suicide by jumping off the cliff in 1944 to evade being captured by the US. It is regarded as one of the top destinations to visit on Saipan and can be accessed through biking or hiking, though it has steep and windy terrain. The view from atop the cliff is breathtaking, especially during sunrise.

Hard Rock Cafe is a vibrant and energetic chain known for its rock 'n' roll theme and serving up classic American dishes like burgers. The restaurant boasts a unique design and is a popular spot for dates, especially for those who love rock music. It's a must-visit destination for fans of the genre.
Customer service was simply amazing, and we were never left unattended. The food matched the service and was extraordinary! Everything we ordered was made to what we expected and more, I wholeheartedly recommended this place if you wanna go somewhere random and to treat yourself a little.
Nick Rabauliman — Google review
Tried this branch out as we've been to a number of different Hard Rock around the world. Nice enough, but missing the ambiance. Food is okay, but not quite worth the price in this particular branch.
Lynda Hogan (InSaitama) — Google review
Food was great but my rating is based on service. Our server came to check on us once after we got our order but after it just felt we were forgotten and was hoping to get a chance to ask for take out container. 25 minutes passed as we waited, I had to ask another server to help. My grand daughter was laying her head on the table.

The food is delicious and the design of the restuarant is very unique. The perfect place for the date. Must visit for rock lovers.
Adi Kai — Google review
I like this place but I don’t really love it. Food is good but pricey. Service is very good at the evening but very slow at lunch (we tried couple of times to have lunch there and the service was really slow, it took so much time for us to get foods) they also have live music in the evening. Cool place to hang out if you are out of choice for being on the island.
Thavirak Bidez — Google review
Customer service needs improvement, food needs revamping, flavors, seasonings way off, live music was to touristy, expensive. I should of taken my family to Tony Romas for better food, more bang for your bucks. money well worth it. Hard Rock Cafe was terrible. I will not be returning to this establishment in the near future.
Ivan Ichiro — Google review
I would recommend this place only if you have money to burn. Other than the price, the food is great, the atmosphere is very cool and the service is very good. Various American style food.
Cedric Snicket — Google review
The service and food is not worth any money. We ordered Hot Fudge Brownie and Oreo Cheese Cake. Hot Fudge Brownie was fine but not worth around $13. Oreo Cheese Cake was like WTF. It tasted like salted cake. It was so salty that we only took one bite and never wanted to try again. We called the server and told them that the cake was very salty. He took the cake back and came back after and told us that this is how it is supposed to be. We told him that it is toooooo salty to even take a bite. We told him that other oreo cheese cake from other places never tasted like this. Then he asked "are you sure it's made of real Oreo?" What???? Like doesn't he know what the conversation is about? Did anyone eat Oreo and thought that it was SALTY? Like is putting Oreo in cheesecake supposed to make it salty or either the cheese or the cake mix?? I wasn't going to write any negative review but how the server treated this situation made me to write this. Is it normal to ask customers if what you ate is real?? LOL. If that's the standard of Hardrock Cafe with hiring servers, then anyone who can just run their mouth can work here. Thanks for this that I will never comeback here.

Very warm greeting, I ordered take-out. 8oz Ribeye with the herb butter on top and clam chowder. Ate my order 20 minutes later. Absolutely delicious! Fries were still crisp (20 min enclosed and still crisp! How?!) Rice was not wet or mushed. Veggies complimented all the flavors provided. It was my best take-out experience. My last experience ordering steak "to-go" was in Japan, and today, I understand why some Japanese come to vacay in Saipan. Highly recommended!!

A nice restaurant with good food and an amazing atmosphere decorated in a western cowboy style. The waiters were polite. We ordered the cowboy steak, coconapple, beer, garlic bread, corn soup with salad and extra fries. The food had a pretty good taste although personally for me, the steak was missing some flavor and spices so we asked for sauce which the waiters offered us kindly. The coconapple was delicious and had a really rich coconut and pineapple mix flavor. As for the soup, it was honestly the best corn soup I ever had - creamy and just the way it’s supposed to be. I would recommend people to visit this place as the overall style and design of the place is a must see and the food fits the style with a good taste overall.

The menu had a variety of items to choose from. I chose the One Pound Knockout Dinner. It is a set meal. Started with a corn bisque and a salad with vinaigrette dressing. Then fried calamari with a tartar sauce. The main entree is a 16 ounce ribeye steak. It had french fries and mixed vegetables underneath. A plate with toasted bread and the dessert was strawberry swirled ice cream. Overall a good meal. I have had larger steaks for less money and they were skimpy with the ice cream.

On Christmas Eve, I dined at 360° Restaurant and indulged in a delightful 5-course dinner. The menu offered a variety of entree options, providing me with ample choices. However, the efficiency of the service seemed to overshadow the dining experience. The waitress continuously brought out each course without allowing time to savor and enjoy our current dish. This rapid succession of food became overwhelming and required multiple requests to slow down the pace.
I love the food, the view and the service. You feel so welcomed, it has a homey yet calm feeling when you enter!! I highly recommend if your craving steaks, lobsters or burgers!

Went here on New Year’s Eve. Had a 8oz steak special for $49. We both got it and it was awful. It was a flank steak that was so well done it was almost inedible. Brought this up to the waitress and she said “oh” and walked away. Soup tasted like a dirty water and the desert was a sliver of pie. Lighting is so bright that you can barely see outside at night, which was odd when going to a restaurant that’s main attraction is being able to see the views of the island. Hands down the worst $150 I’ve spent on island. Will say the wait staff was nice just not well trained.

I had dinner here on Christmas Eve. They offered a 5-course dinner, with 3 options for the entree. The waitress kept bringing out each course without us finishing the course in front of us. It was just too much food served in a very short time. I had to tell them twice to stop bringing the food out so fast. That's not how course-meals should be served. Overall, the food was very good!!

I had the pesto chicken linguine and a mango margarita. The linguine was delightful. However, it did have too much going on at once. The sweetness of the dried tomatoes clashed a bit with the pesto.
