We attended on a public holiday and the weather was perfect. Boardwalk layout and pathways are excellent. The gardens and maintenance are amazing (its very clear works are ongoing and that there is expansion in the works). Plentiful signage. Good amount of staff around the activities. Lots of styles & types of mazes. High ropes and zip lining (age limits apply - this is really not a place for under 3s to play as the equipment is adventure style and made for kids 135cm+). Lockers available for hire. Toilets and cafe on site, plenty of area for throwing down a blanket and picknicking. Look out for fish in the dam. Lovely local artworks spread throughout.

Wonderful family day out, with multiple mazes and playgrounds (but only for older children 2+) plus the tube slides (sadly again for older children & adults). It's mainly on hills, so wear appropriate shoes. Food in the cafe was delicious and reasonably priced. Children loved the kids' maze and found the hidden sandpit as well.

It is pretty big with nice gardens, but most activities are suitable for young kids. There are many mazes , but won't take long to play them all. Sky scramble looks fun, but only for those kids below 135cm. Tube slides are fun to ride for all ages, but is quite heavy and requires lots of effort to drag it uphill. It would be nice to improve the surface to make this less pain. Tree surfing activity cost extra, so with general admission ticket, there wasn't a lot you could do if you were an adult or big kids. The general admission ticket is also pricey.

Short review: It was ok. Would I go again? Nope, definitely no value in it. Long review: The maze was good, but please invest in a few wheelbarrows of gravel for the path.. wet weather make is very muddy. The kids sections were ok, but you can't help them along on tall obstacles as its 135cm and under. And they're limited in number. Making the experience a little short lived. Extra charge to go on adult courses which makes the whole experience quite pricey. The tube rides, please invest an automatic lift for the tubes, especially for the kids ones. it's not really feasible to carry you toddler with their tube up the hill, only to walk back and carry them again.. the kids can walk themselves but to drag the tube behind them isn't practical.

Beautiful gardens The mazes are fun. Fantastic cafe. Took my two grandchildren Unfortunately because my 12 year old grand daughter could not use lots of nets and walkways in the trees because she is over 130cm tall. Also means adults not able to assist with younger children when climbing. They do also have tree surfing but that is an extra cost after admission.

We visited the Enchanted Adventure Garden on a warm summer day with our extended family, ranging from four to sixty four. Everyone loved it. The whole place is gorgeously landscaped. It's got a wonderful atmosphere and the perfect place for a picnic, if you're that way inclined. My four year old loved the mazes. Her favourite was the children's maze: with whimsy scattered and featuring an engaging game of snakes and ladders in the centre. I loved the Asian maze: filled with beautiful nooks and crannies, it was very Zen. Two of our party tried the rope course and gave it a rave review. It took them about an hour to complete, with a lot of laughs along the way. The tyre slides were also a whole lot of fun for the young and young at heart. The cafe was a tad basic so maybe plan to eat before or after arriving. Or bring a picnic, that's what I'll be doing next visit. Overall a beautiful place, full of whimsy and fun, and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Pros: good bit of fun, beautiful gardens and very well maintained grounds. Also good customer service, especially when I was emailing. Mazes were fun, even the kid one and the slide. I think the price for the tree top stuff and general admission together is a great price for a whole day of fun. The price for just general admission is a bit steep I think slightly but like I say the grounds are well kept and people need to look at the cost of maintaining everything, weekend wages etc. Cons: like everyone else says the Cafe is way over priced for the food. If they lower the price I think they'd actually make more money if that makes sense. I don't really get why the response a lot of the time is 'we encourage people to bring picnics' when you have a Cafe with a lot of potential. But overall we were 4 adults and had fun. Didn't get to do the tree top as I have a shoulder injury but it looked good and other places charge $70+ just for that. I'd come back again and have a go of it. There's a lot of things for kids to do. Anyone who gives less than 4 stars atleast is just unrealistic and doesn't appreciate what goes in to places like this.

An awesome day! Well worth the price. 5 kids aged from 4-14 had an amazing time! Even after the tree top surfing we spent lots of time exploring the park grounds, sculptures, hedge sculpting, wooden carvings, playground, games and mazes. We'll be back again.

A beautiful place for adventure and picnic. Take the stroller for little ones( though it might be hardwork for you to push it up and down over the hills)else they'll be tired and you can't enjoy. Also plan a full day if you want to relax and do all activities too. Take your food. There's only one cafe inside and you might have to walk all the to the cafe. There's something gor everyone. Not to be missed

An amazing place to bring family or friends to spend a whole day. With the treetop grand adventure where one can test their courage and balance to giant slides where one can catch air as they fly down the hill in a tyre. There are also many tasks and themes of mazes that one can explore or race. Reminder to keep track of one or another to not get lost. There are also many picnic areas. I recommend purchasing a ticket to the park in advance and to pick an earlier time as in the afternoon,there are many more people. Overall,this is a worthwhile location to spend a whole day with loved ones. Enjoy!

Entry which can include tree surfing is well priced. The staff are lovely and happy to help. The cafe is not overpriced and has excellent food and coffee. It would be great to have a conveyor belt to take the tubes up to the top of the hill, this would make a huge improvement especially for the little ones and no so fit as there is a bit of incline. Some shading whilst waiting in line is also recommended and a drink fountain at the top. Would I recommend this place, absolutely. The gardens are well manicured, the sculptures are gorgeous and there's so much fun to have here. Go early to avoid any slide queues, book your tree surfing, don't bother too much about packing food as the cafe is fantastic. Thank you for a great day 😍

Great place to enjoy either individually or family. General admission $35 and $50-$60 events covering 1-2 hrs. Very peaceful and kids above 135 cm ( height ) can have lot of fun with tree surfing and very safe. Great picnic area , big maze and a small cafe to cover your requirements. 5 starts .

Great fun for our family. My boys had great adventures on the tree surfing and on slides. We enjoyed the mazes and amazing views. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Great place to spend a day. Everyone enjoyed it. I am sure we will be back very soon.

Allow over half a day. Especially if you want to do the treetop high ropes. Excellent landscaping, beautiful views from the Cafe, can burn lots of time on the slides. Very pram friendly, great for all ages. And the mazes are so well done. Prepare to wait patiently for the small kids to play in the sky scramble.

We did the tree surfing for all 5 levels. The tree surfing experience allows 2 hours even if you are 15 mins late to the booking. Later than 30 minutes will cancel your bookings. The tree surfing levels are quite easy and good for beginners. After tree surfing, we were free to explore around. We did almost all the mazes. They were all fun. We love the tube sliders the most. The canopy walk seemed to be under construction when we visited unfortunately

Beautiful gardens , the big slides were lots of fun ! Disappointed at the lack of gluten free options at the Cafe, glad I took my own . Heaps of grassy areas to sit & have a picnic .

What an amazing place. Very well staffed. The explanation was clear, precise and easy to follow. All the staff we had were very helpful, polite and cheerful. All the obstacles were well maintained and felt very safe. We do have a level of fear of heights, but you feel so secure that the fear evaporates rather quickly. Definitely worth the visit. Suitable for very young kids to much older kids and adults. Had an absolute blast.

Place was fun, did the tree surfing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being tall was a drawback in a lot of areas. Easily spent 4 hours here and could have spent more. Lovely gardens and place

Stunning gardens. Great workout for all the uphill walking. Loved it. My family were booked for the tree top climb but didn't make it past the first station... But it was still a brilliant day, and a great experience.

Great place. We spent the whole day here. It’s nice to be out in nature. And lots of things for kids to do. Removed one star because: 1. You have to pay full price for an accompanying adult on the tree surfing. If adults HAVE TO accompany a kid then it should be cheaper or free 2. They had quite a bit of staff in the cafe but no one cleaning up the tables so they get piled with dirty and used dishes.

Thinking of a place to go in Melb that my family haven't been to. Then I stumbled across this place. We made the 10.00 session. Lovely guy at the counter was very friendly. I just wasnt informed about the extra cost if wanting to do the tree climbing, so had to go back and pay an additional $40 pp which seemed a fair bit at the time but once you do it, it is well and truely worth every cent. My daughter who is scared of life literally, did it, the workers were all super friendly and helpful and informative it made it a breeze and although we were all out of our comfort zones we managed to do 4/5 courses. Each course has a zipline to end it. Soooo much fun!! There is also a rock climbing wall, tree surfing, tube slides, picturesque gardens, mazes and so much more. They have a cafe offering sandwiches, cold drinks, icecreams, coffee/tea, hot chips, nuggets, pies, sausage rolls and more. However I seen alot of familes bringing a picnic rug and eating what they brang and ate it with the beautiful view on the grass. I honestly can't believe we haven't been here before. We were quite tired from doing the first big maze and 4 treetop courses, and tube slide that we didn't get to do all of the things, so I guess you will see us again! I have 2 very happy kids who said, today was one of the best days they have ever had. Fantastic setup, beautiful gardens, amazing place. Welldone! Highly recommend to families. This place is hella fun!!!

Arrived at 10am, parked near the entrance and was greeted by friendly staff at the gates. The grounds are well maintained - lush, green hedges as far as they eye can see. We stayed 2.5hrs, we explored most of the property. Plenty of shady areas to have a picnic. Recommended for children aged 5-10.

Pretty, fun, and kids friendly. We're kids at heart so we enjoyed finding our way around the different mazes. On entry you will be given a map with all the mini attractions to find around the site. There are different small gardens to explore, the rose maze was interesting as there are rose facts around the maze. You can walk around the grounds to view the beautiful trees. We went in autumn so the scenery was filled with gold, red, green, and yellow. Onsite you can find the Flying Calamari Brothers restaurant, we missed our chance to try but will be back as apparently the calamari are amazing.

The maze is challenging for adult. There is a viewing platform in the middle of the maze,it’s worth to get in! The lavender frame is blooming like 10%, better visit in few weeks later. It takes at least 1.5h to see all the places. Unfortunately the cafe is close but you can get soft drinks, ice cream and dried lavender.

Amazing stop near all the wineries where your family can spend 2 hours at least. We went in autumn and garden looks amazing! Nice choice for outdoor activities and events.

Beautiful, relaxing, and fun visit. The maze was so much fun to do and a good way to get your steps in! As we were walking around we could just hear pretty birds chirping and it was very peaceful. Clearly a lot of care has been put into these gardens, COVID must’ve hit them hard and I’m encouraging everyone to come visit for a relaxing day out!

Visited this place quite a while ago. Went there with couple of my friends, We decided to stop by for a short gateway. Their maze is a must to try, all of us having fun finding the way out and it kinda feels like the maze in Harry potter and the goblet of fire 😆. it was a beautiful walk in the garden as well (their rose and lavender probably seasonal?)

Lovely gardens! The hedge mazes are not huuuge but good to explore, the lavendar fields were a tad overgrown and not quite blooming (noting we visited at the very start of the season). There is a gnome and fairy hunt for kids which would definitely keep them entertained, I as an adult enjoyed it, and also a sandpit. Plenty of space for a picnic.

Great place to visit for families. We all had a great time. Will definitely be coming back. Money well spent. Our daughter will not stop talking about it.

Fantastic venue for our extended family group of 15, with kids from 3 to 8yrs old. Could have spent all day here, amazing gardens, cleverly built mazes and beautiful lavender gardens. Kids had fun tracking down all the gnomes & fairies

A beautiful place. Lovely gardens. The colours of autumn were great. The hedge mazes were fun to walk through. A lot of work has gone into them. The rose and lavender mazes are probably seasonal. Took lots of photos of the gardens and fountains etc. Has the potential for more such as a giant chess board, naughts and crosses squares etc. Thanks for a great experience.

Loved getting lost in the maze was so much fun. We participated in the gnome and fairy hunt. That just added so much more fun as we walked around and around. Gardens are beautiful and well landscaped. 😍

Not worth the price for admission. 1st maze is okay. But the second one just has way too many branches sticking out and is extremely narrow to try and navigate. The cafe food / drinks also not that great. And needs more toilets. Don’t waste your time or money on this place

Love that maze, there is 4 of them, only the first two are pretty nice, second one was more challenging, and narrow, feels like walking in the Harry Potter maze. If you know what i meant. Today was cold, but really lucky that the day was sunny, make the lake and the woods look stunning. It’s definitely a good place for family, or just wanna have a relaxing day.

Love a good hedge maze and this one didnt disappoint. The north maze was a little claustraphobic as the plants have outgrown the space, but the south maze has a challenge tower to reach which was fun to try and get to. Also has a lavender maze and plenty of open grass as well a woodland forest. Worth the visit if you are in the area

Lovely places to visit with family and friends. The cheese plate is the must to try! Staff are very friendly and the seatings are spacious and comfortable. After testing the great variety of cheeses, it’s a good chance to let kids explore their interests with animals. Bring your picnic mat and enjoy the relaxing afternoon with nature.

Located in Mornington Peninsula, Main Ridge Dairy served great coffee and cheese platters, although personally I loved their cookies more. Service was friendly and the ambiance was cosy. It’s a must visit when you’re in Mornington.

Main Ridge Dairy is the most beautiful place to visit. We're regular visitors and find it peaceful and really enjoy watching the beautiful goats at play. The goats enjoy a pat and are very sweet. It's lovely to have a cheese plate and coffee or a wine 🍷 They would get the extra star if they had a better menu.

This is a goats cheese dairy. There is a cafe where you can purchase and taste many different styles of goats cheese. Baby goats in September, kids play area, indoor and outdoor eating areas. It's a very comfy place with very friendly staff for a visit with the family. Pictured is the basic tasting platter it's made up of the ticked items on the menu photos.

Toddler had lots of fun patting goats after strawberry picking just down the road. Great wine too!

This place is a lovely little gem hiding away...the service was the best iv had in a very very long time, explaining the different Cheeses we were eating one by one... the atmosphere was casual and would suit anyone just wanting to chill. Goats out front for kids and kids at heart to look at , on the property is a dam, so looking at water is never bad. The actual inside is very small, so if it's wet there are limited seats but in warmer dryer weather your all set to bring a picnic rug and enjoy. Editing my review after a return visit... It's a beautiful spot, however it is not very kid friendly in respect to menu.. obviously I understand it's cheese, and they offer a toasty.... but they won't serve you on the grass, so if no table then no service, and there are limited tables.. I'd add that, the grounds are lovely for kids, my kids loved running around on the grass, but again, not geared towards kids, not particularly kid friendly and definitely no menu items, not even a special occasion soft drink for kids.. Still however, it's a lovely spot and I will return but just be more prepared with my own food for the kids, as I'm not paying $50 for them to eat delicious cheese haha.

As a gluten intolerant they served me really well giving me a nice juice and a surprisingly delicious cheese toasty. The goats were adorable, the view was amazing, but my favourite part of this restaurant was the waiter Andy who was by far the nicest person I’ve met.

Excellent service! The lady took time to explain the different types of cheese that was served. The surroundings were beautiful and so peaceful. There were goats. I would come back again in springtime with friends who are visiting Melbourne.

Nice atmosphere with a chill outdoor setting. Only had drinks and they were good. Scotch ale and the sessions IPA. I thought the scotch ale was a bit flat but flavours were still good and I’d still recommend it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

We came on Saturday to do a beer tasting! It was so beautiful, relaxed and very friendly staff! The beer was beautiful aswell. Definitely be back to try the food as it smelled delicious.

Great little brewery with a lovely beer garden. The wood fire in the middle really made it. The tasting paddle was perfect and the food amazing. It was very quick to arrive and portions sizes were generous. Highly recommend.

If you’re after a refreshing beer and a great lunch Red Hill Brewery is the place to be on the peninsula. Have been here a few times now and the food and beer never disappoints. The American style bbq menu is well priced for the portions you receive and a good alternative to another place nearby that also sells American style bbq. The food is so tasty and quick service. The venue is not pretentious and has a great vibe and a big grass area is you have kids that want to run around while you enjoy you beer and food. Highly recommend this place!

Weekends and holidays are very busy and the environment is very good. The size of the food is smaller. Beer is recommended

I enjoy this visit a lot and it is a kids friendly Brewery. Staffs are friendly and efficient. It’s an extraordinary place for lunch before or after your cherry/ berry picking with your kids. The beers are really good with different varieties, everyone can find his/her favourite. And...try Golden Ale :) The food quality is absolutely stunning, especially this feast platter. Kids love it, everyone love it. Beef Brisket and the Pock Ribs are so good. And it’s only $99!

Stopped in here for a few drinks and a bite! Great atmosphere and staff. Loved the old barn feel. Beer prices a bit steep (which loses a star), but apart from that, couldn’t fault the visit.

Great little hidden gem! Great atmosphere, layout of tables and relaxed feel to enjoy their beers. The food looked great although I didn't try this time. Certainly worth a visit if you want a bush/nature type seating feel that is just chilled. Also perfect for a date if that's your thing.

Small menu but this place plays to their strengths. The brisket burger was insane, and they did not hold back on the brisket. Sitting outside surrounded by beautiful trees and rustic furniture with the sun shining was the best part. Staff really friendly too!

A bit overpriced for food and the beer and wine was a bit steep too. Only one heater working so definitely suggest to bring another layer of clothing.. even though they had blankets not sure when they were washed last 😬

Nice little boutique brewery, surprisingly delicious sweet potato chips! I did the tasting paddle, the rip pale ale & east coast pale ale were my standouts. Some excellent take away packs, I got the 9 pack mix cans for $45 (3 stouts, 3 pale ales & 3 IPA)

Had a good time winding down here, watching the sunset. The place is very peaceful. Food was good, I'd like to come back to try more!! I'm not a big beer drinker but these were good!

Just love a walk around Heronswood gardens, so many interesting and unique plants. Beautiful views of the bay and enjoyed lunch in the garden and a browse in the shop. As a Diggers Club member I get free entry which is a bonus.

An opportunity to purchase seed for unusual varieties of pumpkin and corn. There's a good selection of heirloom varieties of many edibles. I should have stayed longer and enjoyed the gardens and cafe. Amazing Ocean views from Mt Martha for those who have never been. Don't forget to visit Arthur's seat. Make a wonderful day of it for the family.

💗Really lovely Sunday arvo, a rustic garden, if you walk around there’s great views of the bay, prob even better than from the little look out they have. And lovely spots to sit and chill. Costs $15 for entry. Nursery is also good, a bit on the pricey side but I guess what’s expected down there.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ FYI Coffee machine is turned off by 3.

Great place to visit for the garden and cafe, but best of all for their range of plants. Renewed our membership to support this valuable business. Did I mention the range of gardening tools in the shop? And the big range of heirloom seeds?

Stunning views abound, the cafe which is housed in an old house has a small menu but made with quality ingredients (some from the gardens) we had the scones with jam and double cream and a pot of tea each then spent some time wandering the gardens then sitting on a bench under an arch for an hour admiring the view and enjoying the winter sun and peacefulness of the place. Worth the $10 entry fee for the whole family. We will definitely return.

Lovely gardens to walk around with spots to sit and admire the view. Great selection of plants and heirloom seeds. Cafe wasn't open on my visit. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat.

Don't get me wrong, the place is nice, however it needs more attention and care. And 15 aud for entry? Even though they have a cafe, souvenir shop and selling plants and pots? Again don't get me wrong, its nice to walk around this small garden, I just think its not worth the price if you a casual visitor. Unless you decide to have a membership.

I don't know what's going on at Heronswood, but these photos I took say it all. It's fairly unkept, overgrown and there is no explanation as to why. We were told the restaurant in the garden was being renovated. Yet if you peek through the window, there is no evidence of that. The chairs are stacked up, but that's it. We were told the garden was being rested before Autumn, but there was no evidence of any work. Not even any clearing out of dead foliage. Even the walkway on the viewing platform was overgrown and in need of clearing given people were using it - and the little lake now just a bed for algae. Maybe they can't find or afford the staff they need. Or maybe the Autumn thing is correct - but if it is, they're going to have to put in a massive effort. I am trying to be kind here and suggest that maybe we simply saw the garden at its worst. I hope they bounce back. Some of the earlier photos of the garden look fantastic - but if you are going to take group to see Heronswood, then it might be an idea to put it off for a few months. Especially as they are still charging the full entry fee ($15). The shop, by contrast, was hard to fault. The plants were well kept - which makes the state of the garden even more curious. I was going to give Heronswood one star - but agree with an earlier comment that the ocean view is wonderful and the shop was good - so that's why I bumped it to two.

Was very surprised you had to pay to go in here, but ok, it must be fantastic inside? But now not sure what the entry fee is for as it's clearly not cleaning or maintenance. $15 to see a dead veggie patch, a neglected old house and unmaintained gardens? Potential to be stunning but essentially a waste of money. If it's an off time of year? Fair enough but you shouldn't be charging entry then.

I've been to Montalto before but until today I had never experienced the set menu experience their restaurant offers. My wife and I were taken on a culinary journey. Every dish placed before us was rich in flavour and was perfectly complimented with wine. Montalto is a dining experience you won't forget.

One of my favourite wineries in Melbourne The restaurant is great and staffs are kind. They also have a huge farm area to walk around after lunch or wine tasting. Location is also good, so there are many places and good beaches to visit together.

Great place for a special lunch (we went for Fathers Day today). Five course lunch in restaurant was beautiful. Pricy but worth it. Lovely views down the hill and vin yards. Cool little sculpture trail as well down the side past the lake and river and up the other side. Nice touch.

Lovely location, great views & a relaxed atmosphere. Sculpture Park & Wetland Walk after our meal was very enjoyable. We went for the "Feed Me" option at $70 per person. The food was tasty & enjoyable but a little over priced for what it was. The accompanying bottle of red wine that we bought was excellent & good value. An overall enjoyable experience, staff were attentive & helpful.

First of all, this place is absolutely stunning - the views begin at the car park and just keep going. The sculptures scattered around the the planting around the walking path complemented the vineyards nicely. We started with a wine tasting - helpful, friendly, and informative explanations from the staff. Great selection of wines too. We were impressed with the number of varieties. Afterwards, we had the set lunch at the restaurant (vs the casual dining outside which is available for walk ins). It was probably one of the best meals we’ve had in the Melbourne area! The dishes were all delightful but the vegetables grown on the property really stole the show. The views of the vineyards from the dining room were just icing on the cake. I can’t recommend this spot enough!

First time here, very nice place lots of green around just a perfect autumn day. We had luxury experience vouchers and we choose to go a Montalto. We had a wine tasting at the start our host very knowledgeable and we appreciate it the time she spend with us explaining all the wines. After the tasting we been moved to the piazza restaurant for our meal. Really nice experience food was delicious nice service and great wine. Thank you for your hospitality

Awesome day, the winery was extremely busy (Sunday) the staff were very busy and some of the visitors were extremely impatient and rude. Come on people be respectful and have a generous heart. The young woman on the door welcoming guests needs a promotion she was so professional and friendly under lots of pressure. Food was excellent, oysters, charcuterie board, croquettes, napoli pizza with a sparkling rosè. Service staff were great. Perfect view. Sculpture garden was a lovely walk.

We absolutely loved out visit to Montalto!! Even though we went only for the tasting as our time was very limited we got to enjoy the wine, the surroundings and the incredible service. We were absolutely delighted for the service of Michelle, she made us feel really special and she took care of every single detail. It is also really important to highlight the quality of the wines, which without a doubt is above and beyond. We can’t wait to receive our wines as of course we subscribed to the wine club, it is worth to have them at home!! Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!

Lovely ambience with beautiful views over the vineyard. We enjoyed a set menu which was spectacular. The five of us agreed it was one of the most wonderful meals any of us had ever enjoyed. The staff were attentive but not in your face. Wine was excellent - goes without saying. It is firmly planted in my mind as a special day not to be forgotten.

We really enjoyed our lunch there. The food is well seasoned. The wine are amazing especially their Seppeltsfield moscato!! It's a must if you're fan of sweet moscato. The atmosphere is really chilling as well. We definitely go back soon.

We enjoyed a lovely picnic which was gifted to us about 3 years ago. We had a beautiful quiet and secluded space. There was so much food which was all excellent quality and the included bottle of wine was divine. The service at the cellar door and then at the picnic was wonderful. Could not fault this experience, would highly recommend it.

We were gifted a picnic at Montalto and absolutely loved the experience. It begins with a wine tasting in the main building and we got to take a bottle of our favourite wine with us. We then walked through the vineyards to our private picnic table which was set with white linen. Our entree was waiting for us, and mains and desserts were delivered later by motorbike. We could have had more drinks delivered as well but we were driving. My recommendation is to get a taxi here so you can really enjoy a lazy, long lunch! We loved our day here and will be copying the gift idea for any future weddings we go to!

A beautiful restaurant that grows their own herbs and vegetables at the back of the garden. It has a few sculptures around the area for the fun side of it. Dishes are delicious and pizzas are just perfect. Parking can be slightly challenging if you come on the weekends, otherwise a relaxing place for your day trip!

Lunch 9/7/22 Incredible as always, Second visit here and just as good as the great memories. The staff are the epitome of professional but so friendly and helpful at the same time. All of the dishes were incredible and the wine was amazing. The atmosphere in general is unbeatable with a lovely walk through their art garden.

$70 set menu at Piazza. Quite heavy on the bread (sourdough was fantastic) so we were very full by the time we had the mains. Still tasty with the trout and barramundi being the highlights of the meal.

This one definitely takes the cake for most scenic vineyard on the peninsula for me. Situated with a view across the valley, it’s dreamy rolling hills to the horizon. Service in the cellar door was perfunctory but much warmer in the restaurant. Food was delicious and worth a stop.

Picnics - not great! Wine tastings is first up, good selections & great staff. However after leaving to go to the picnic site it went downhill from there. Upon arriving to our site it was crawling in black ants despite trying to remove them we ended up covered in bites. The site was unmaintained & a sculpture near our site had used nappies in it. We had No instructions on what to do or expect & no menu provided! The 1st board was a lot of bread & 1 small dip / veggies. It was underwhelming. The “main” was chicken that tasted like it was in pizza base sauce & came with average sides such as 4 prawns that really didn’t go with the meal. The food has elements you could taste were either from a can or jar. Had the same experience 2 years earlier, disappointed nothing has changed. Save your time & money don’t bother with a picnic.

Date/time of visit: 5 January 2024 at 12:15pm A beautiful show case of food. We dined at The Restaurant and you are served a set menu for a fixed price. There are options to have wine pairings with each course at a higher price or order by the bottle or by the glass (we ordered by the glass). There are also a couple of options for additional sides, choice of two, for an extra price (we ordered an extra side of a tiger prawn). Each dish was a sharing dish with enough food for the number of people seated at your table. A dining session is approximately two hours and this was our only complaint…we felt rushed at the beginning of our meal and still had 45 minutes to spare at the end of the meal before we officially had to leave. The food itself was delicately prepared. Every ingredient was familiar and, therefore, not daring us to eat it. Instead, the chefs highlighted how every day ingredients (carrots, beans, fish, lamb, snow peas, sugar snap peas, bread, butter) can be raised up to something more. Vegetables were showcased in their own dishes with magnificence without the need for a protein. The fish and the lamb were beautiful. The staff were excellent. The venue was fine dining but relaxed. The dining room has a lovely view over the valley and the surround hills. After lunch we explored the sculpture trail (which is also well worth the visit). Bookings are essential (we had to book approximately 2 weeks in advance to get the sitting time we preferred). Price point to food quality and service was excellent.

Nestled amidst stunning vistas, the winery offers a breathtaking backdrop for a leisurely day out. However, the charm falters when it comes to service, lacking attentiveness and warmth. Disappointingly, the Easter Sunday set menu lacks customization options and fails to cater to diverse tastes. Moreover, the waiter did not offer us the option of still or sparking water and only served sparking water. I have not attended this winery on a regular day so I cannot comment on the other food options.

We had the Red Balloon wine tasting and lunch in the piazza on a Saturday in January. This is such a busy place it's amazing how many people turn up! Wine tasting was a nice experience upstairs followed by a three course set lunch in the piazza area. Wines were nice and we were given extra as we asked to try some stronger reds. The food was enjoyable too and well portioned. All round it was a good experience.

Awesome place to have brunch/lunch at Mornington. The food was fabulous, and the coffee was amazing. Love the whole atmosphere of the place, including its picnic area, gardens, and the wetlands walk. We reached around 1 o clock for Saturday lunch, the place was full, and we had to wait for 40 minutes to get our table. The service was quick and efficient.

We came to do a wine tasting on Saturday. It was so beautiful. We got to sit at our own table and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the wine I bought two bottles, the winery itself was beautiful aswell with a sculpture walk and gardens. We will be back definitely.

We had a beautiful lunch here. The food and service was exceptional, as were the wine pairings. One of my favourite meals ever! The burnt whipped butter, the lamb and the veggie course 🤌

An enjoyable experience with some extremely delicious bites, and some quite eh bites. We came here on the Easter Monday, and enjoyed their 5 course menu and the marron, based off the waiter’s absolute recommendation. In essence, most of the dishes were respectable. The flavours were well balanced, ingredients cooked to perfection. Harry’s mussels from flinders were absolutely perfect and I could eat a bucket of it (and I don’t even like mussels). Now for the Marron, which were 90 dollar addition per plate, it was arguably the worst dish of the whole experience. The marron was under seasoned, although tender it was borderline undercooked and translucent. I guess they treaded the line extremely carefully in the kitchen! Alas, it was absolutely not worth 90 dollars for about 100grams (if that) of marron. An otherwise enjoyable fine dining experience.

Ten Minutes by Tractor started as a vineyard, and they now have an exceptional fine dining two hatted 👨‍🍳 modern Australia restaurant. I tried a (carnivore) tasting menu and my friend, the (plant based) tasting menu. The service was excellent, and the food presentation was fantastic. The wine was delicious, too. This was a special dining experience and definitely worth a visit. 😊 And I almost forgot to mention this. Our dinner took over 3 hours, so plan ahead.

Unreal experience. Drove down to spend the weekend in the area with my partner and this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. The food here was phenomenal, the service was amazing and the pacing between each course was perfect. Emma(?) Had been taking care of us on the night and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I will definitely be coming back to try the 8 course menu! We had told them that we were celebrating our anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary dessert! Make sure you dress up though - this place kinda fancy

Thank you to the team at Ten minutes by Tractor. We had a wonderful family lunch. Our group included a 94 year old who is deaf and who has mobility and dietary challenges, and I'm a coeliac. The staff were wonderfully helpful and were extremely mindful of making sure they accommodated all of our needs. The food and (Ten minutes by Tractor) wine were beautifully presented and delicious. The gluten free bread was melt in the mouth and the most delicious I have tasted. The atmosphere was quiet enough for everyone to hear the conversation. We will certainly be coming back.

After so many times, I've decided to go for signature menu. I must say the food are super delicious, beautifully presented, too guilty to eat. Staffs were attentive and warm The only downside is that the break between the dishes are too long. It was an 4hrs dining experience for us.

Was lucky enough to enjoy the 5 course meal here with several friends, definitely worth the drive down from Melbourne. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent and if you are lucky enough to have the chefs table with direct view of the kithen you can watch as each dish is prepared and plated... try not to drool... Courses were spread at just the right intervals with enough time to savour each dish. Definitely not a rushed experience like we see in so many venues now as they try to push through clientele. I'm not a drinker but the drinks menu was significant. The 5 courses were preceded by some delicious bread and several snacks.

We have dined here for lunch and dinner and absolutely loved it! The wine pairing is one of the best I’ve experienced, definitely arrange a lift or designated driver as the pours are generous and delicious. We loved every dish, all the courses were creative and tasty, even the bread was outstandingly yum and we had to request another serve. Beautiful interior with comfortable seating and attentive service. We’re so lucky to have such a quality restaurant only an hour away from Melbourne!

There are no words to describe how amazing the food and people were. Every meal was a work of art and every person involved were just so kind and friendly. You could just taste the freshness in the food and the passion behind it. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my husbands 40th a wonderful experience and one to remember. The little surprise chocolates, candle, and signed card to end was such a lovely gesture.

Absolutely memorable - My husband and I had our first dinner here on our little mini-honeymoon and we will not forget it. I am Vegan and my husband is not, and they were able to provide me with my own 5 courses which was just delicious. My husband enjoyed his meals as well and the service was just next level. The whole experience is one that we will forever remember and will most likely be back here every year to cerebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you

Got to be one of the top spots for a long lunch on the peninsula. Food is always 5/5, service is always impeccable and the wine list extensive. Their bread is so good and I love the green marble throughout, it is the perfect spot for an extended lunch with friends and family. I especially loved the lamb cutlet on this occasion. Just make sure you get a driver so you can make the most of the wine list🍷

I came here for my birthday the week before Christmas. This was truly a phenomenal eating experience and it was so difficult to pick the stand out dish. Having said that the Marin was sublime and that lionsmane mushroom dish tasted like a rich beef dish. I am not a veggie eater but there was this beetroot salad dish that was delectable. I won't go through every detail of the food as I feel like I will miss something and not do it justice. The service was spectacular and each wine paired with each dish only enhanced the flavours of the wine and food. I loved every second I was there.

Sad to say I was underwhelmed by my experience at TMBT. I’ve wanted to dine here for over 10 years and we finally made it for our wedding anniversary, but it didn’t feel very special. Very overpriced for what it is compared to other tasting menus I’ve had. At $175pp I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to a friend. The food was good, not great. Service was good, not great (husband’s empty beer glass sat on the table for a good half an hour). Restaurant was pretty cold and the atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Really wanted to love this place as I’ve always loved the name but I guess they say never meet your heroes for a reason. :( Dishes were beautifully presented and if the price point had been closer to $125pp I think it would be justified and I suspect the dinner service would’ve been fully booked.

Fantastic.... We went for lunch on Saturday. From the time we walked in the team offered us flawless dining experience. They finished it off by presenting us with a signed card from the team wishing us a happy anniversary. Well done!

What can I say but this place is fabulous. My taste buds were treated like never before. The dishes were a delicate marriage of beautiful flavours, colours and the freshest of ingredients. The tasting menu we enjoyed tops anywhere else in our country in my opinion. Oh and the service top class as well. I love waiters who are professional, not trying to befriend you and serve you with the least intrusiveness and the waiters here are exactly that. Well done to the head chef and the staff.

Was there for friends birthday, food wasn't great, maybe is not my taste. i give 3 nice star for service because i ask for cake but the waitress said" i already closed the box, unless you wanted me to open it again and cut the cake for you?" I said forget it* dont worry. but i will come back to try the Restaurant because i see my type of food there....

We loved this family run winery, enjoyed the wine tasting, very knowledgeable staff member, delicious wines. Lunch was even better, celebrating our sons 30th birthday it was a perfect afternoon, food lovely, chocolate tasting after, and a sneaking ice cream to top the day. Thanks, though it was a public holiday and the staff limited, they made us feel welcome and worked extremely hard. Loved it here.

What an amazing establishment! We were warmly welcomed and had the loveliest food, wine, and above all, service. It is definitely smaller than other wineries in the area that I’ve visited, but by all means the best. The Summer BBQ option was very reasonably priced and we got flavour-packed varieties of grilled meats, accompanied by three different salads. They also allowed us to have the wine tasting while waiting for food. Remember to browse the chocolaterie downstairs and taste the ice cream (the banana and Ecuadorian chocolate were divine)!🏅

A lovely spot in Red Hill for good wine, gorgeous chocolate and fabulous ice cream. Highly recommend the honeycomb both in chocolate and in ice cream! Geoff and his son were great hosts and we would thoroughly recommend a stop.

Took my husband here for a birthday lunch on the recommendation of my niece and her friends. We absolutely loved it! We were met at the door and taken in for wine tastings then sat down for a really gorgeous meal. The service was excellent! The food was just beautiful. After lunch we went to the chocolate factory, wow! Chocolate and ice cream tastings all made on site. We very highly recommend this gorgeous hidden gem and will be back as soon as we can. PS. Wines are excellent!

5 due to the all round concept of this winery, brings about a nice change. For us the star of the show was the ice cream, the chocolate is extremely aesthetic but unfortunately had no room left after 2 massive scoops of ice cream 🤤 it’s so great seeing it all made there with quality ingredients. Wasn’t a massive fan of the wines in general, but the tasting was good and we weren’t charged as we ate there and grabbed a bottle for lunch. The bbq was very tasty. Chicken meatballs the only let down as were dry, however the honey lamb sausage was incredible.

Thanks to the Mont Rouge team for a fantastic experience! The vegetarian option was divine, the wines were delicious, chocolates and ice cream were beautiful. Couldn't have asked for a better day out of the city with friends. We will be back for sure!

What a hidden intimate treasure. Spectacular hand picked wine (so less chemicals), bought several of every variety, friendly knowledgeable staff, outstanding food. Even a sensational vegan platter for me, including mushroom tarts, spicy cauliflower, crispy tofu, salad & chips, a slice for dessert more than I could eat. Wine tasting included with the very reasonably priced lunch. And then the chocolates! In a wonderful French provincial style setting. So romantic. Can’t wait to go back.

Lunch was exquisite, wine tasting was on point, the Honey Gris was unique, so much so, a bottle took itself home with us, chocolate clusters from the chocolaterie was scrumptious, ice cream was heaven sent on a heatwave of a day and the hospitality was the icing on the cake! What a wonderful surprise! Loved this place and much better than some of the bigger more well known wineries in the area. Five of us attended for lunch and we had the share plate. Food was delicious especially the beef (well done for your all night vigil), and plenty of it to go round. And love their Honey Gris. Chocolates also yummy. Staff were efficient, helpful and very welcoming. Will be returning.

My friends and I went here over the weekend as part of a winery tasting tour. Safe to say, Mont Rouge was my favourite winery by far!! Lachie was so knowledgeable about the wines and explaining how the growing conditions changed the way the wines would taste. He also built great rapport with my group and had the friendly banter as well. Lachie having you to guide us through the wines made my absolute day 🫶

Great wine tasting. Also had the opportunity to taste the delicious artisan chocolates and ice cream. We also had the set lunch which was impressive and yummy. We sat on a picnic table and enjoyed our wine (Chardonnay 2018- buttery version) and enjoyed the surroundings.

A truly lovely experience. The staff was so incredibly kind, welcoming, and informative. We had the bbq lunch which was fairly priced at $28/pp and they had an excellent veg option available. The wines were wonderful and after tasting and learning more about them, we walked away with 12 bottles. The addition of the chocolate/ice cream shop makes this winery even more unique and worth visiting. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We stayed in one of the villas and it truly exceeded our expectations! Everything was pure luxury! The bedding was like sleeping on a cloud, the open fire place was perfect, the spa bath was exceptional, the included breakfast was delicious! Absolutely loved our stay that we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for having us. Highly recommend staying here in one of the villas for a very relaxing and luxurious night away.

My partner and I had the most lovely lunch the other day at Polperro winery. The food was insanely delicious and was presented so beautifully. I am also gluten free and they were great and providing alternatives. The service was also incredible which made the whole experience so special for us both. We have enjoyed beautiful lunches at Polperro previously, but this was our first dinner. We were so impressed with every aspect of this experience, from initial discussions about our dietary requirements, to the last dish served for the evening. The food was the best I have ever had, both for presentation and taste. The service was phenomenal - just the right amount of attentiveness, information and a bit of fun thrown in. The wines are wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect. I highly recommend Polperro for a special occasion dinner (or anytime if you are lucky enough to be able to afford it on a regular basis).

My friends and I covered 24 wineries over the summer period. We started at Polperro and finished there too. Without question Polperro stood out for their service. We had the loveliest experience and enjoyed a Sunday lunch. The food was amazing! The service was impeccable. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable and has personality. A special shout out to Mark who looked after us, made us laugh and made the birthday lunch super memorable!

Visited for a wine tasting. Lovely cellar door in a moody sit-down room amongst the tall walled racks of the wineries' selections. Unfortunately only got to taste the Even Keel collection of the winery which was a bummer. The lady at the cellar door was only working there for 2 weeks but was fantastic and engaging. Would love to come back to eat in the future with hopefully a selection of the Polperro wines available.

This place is a must try! Food was outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly without intruding. Beautiful view from your table. We will definitely be back again.

Absolutely superb dining experience. Everything was perfect from the quality, and flavour of the food to the warm and enthusiastic service. The chef has prepared a delightful menu of 14 dishes over 5 courses which are paced and presented perfectly. Each plate is just visual perfection to the eyes followed by delicious in the mouth. At $140 it’s very good value for the quality and quantity of food and service. Wine was also lovely.

By far the best winery I’ve ever visited. Could not fault a thing. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly welcome and a smile. We arrived early for our lunch sitting to hopefully be able to get in for a tasting beforehand, which the staff were delighted to help with and arranged for us. The food was absolutely incredible. We had one person with vegetarian requirements and we were pleased to see her dishes were on par with the level of quality as the non-vegetarian dishes. Each meal was absolutely delicious, we all had a different favourite as it was so hard to choose! The service was impeccable by all staff members, even down to the small things like keeping our table clean and the timing of each course coming out. We had the best afternoon. Thanks again and we will definitely be back and recommending our friends and family.

A beautiful setting and I really appreciated the roomy tables which meant everyone looked out over the garden and there was quite a space between neighbouring tables. The food, wine and service were first class. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend the wine pairing.

Polperro certainly exceeded expectations! The venue itself is modern and stylish with a beautiful lawn and deck, along with fantastic views over the vines down the hill. Food was exceptional and better than I had anticipated - thoughtful dishes and flavours which were not over-engineered or complicated but highlights fresh tasty ingredients. Wines were excellent and service top notch. Well worth it and will definitely return for more.

My best friend and I attended Polperro Winery for our last stop on our getaway down the Peninsula. Probably one of the finest meals I have ever had, and for a very reasonable price. We had the set menu. Every single dish was incredible, and the two people who served us were bubbles of joy who made the experience even more wholesome. I definitely intend on coming back. Amazing place, wine is good. Vibe is amazing. The staff is so nice, I asked Nikki on arrival if we could get blanket as it is a cold day. Unfortunately, all the blanket were taken. She came to our table to give us blanket as soon as they were available. That is such a nice touch for service that is so appreciated. Thank you for being amazing !!!

4 of us went to Polperro Winery to enjoy a beautiful lunch and the whole experience was absolutely exceptional. The setting, ambience and beautifully friendly staff create such a wonderful environment and the food was honestly sublime. We collectively agreed that we’ve never had oysters that tasted that good! We’ve always loved eating there and we’ve shared some very special meals there over the years but yesterday was probably our best culinary experience there yet. It truly was absolutely exceptional.

If I could give Polperro a higher rating I would. We’ve been visiting Polperro for years on so many special occasions or just for a wine on the deck chairs out the back. It’s always held a special place in our hearts and so decided to get married at Polperro. Kim and the team were absolutely incredible on the day and Kim and Lauren were amazing leading up to it. The accommodation was fantastic (both villas and farmhouse), food & drinks were amazing and the team made it 100% better. It felt as though they were just an extension of our family and friends. Incredible feedback from so many of our guests about the food. We love Polperro and will continue to visit year after year. Highly recommend for a wedding venue.

I had a reunion with my friends and god daughter and we decided to have the wine tasting. We had the most wonderful sommelier/wine maker, James. He was knowledgeable and kind, and an expert at translating the complex flavour palates to everyday foods you know and love. I highly recommend trying the “lemon cheesecake Chardonnay”. When you’re there ask for a session with James.

Limited menu for dining outdoors with half the items not available at 1.30pm on a Sunday. Older male waiter was very rude, telling us there wasn’t a table available when in fact there was and another waitress seated us. Setting is beautiful but the poor service really put us off and made us feel unwelcome.

The quality of food and wine here is impeccable. It has a soft, warm and inviting atmosphere, gorgeous views and well chosen, simple yet stunning decor. The resident pooch is super cute and service is welcoming and friendly. Would happily come again.

I booked this family run winery as it was dog friendly, and the first time we would be visiting with our pup. We arrived half an hour late after an episode of thinking he was missing (sleeping under a jacket in the back of the car) - we were greeted by the friendly hostess, who then changed our table so we were in the best sunlight. We had a wonderful set menu and a great Pinot (good tannins) that was well recommended by the sommelier. It has a gorgeous view and an unpretentious warm character. We tried to tip and they had no tipping facilities! I will recommend to all my family and friends - and will be back. Thank you to the kind staff you made our weekend.

Very lovely and beautiful winery, which is a little smaller and more personal than others. The staff were super friendly and we had a great lunch and good Chardonnays. Highly recommended!

Generally speaking, the taste of the food was good, better than average. We have four ppl and it was $60 each, $240 in total but the portion was bit not worth that price. As a winery, they mainly focus on Chardonnay & Pinot Nor. Limited options, but not producing excellent results. The ones in 2020 year taste like added water into the wines. Very watery and light. In 2019 year ones are okay, but tbh for $65, you can get too many better ones in BWS or other wineries. In conclusion, it’s an overpriced fine dinning with limited wine selections. Can’t say it represents the quality of Peninsula. I wanted to give it a two stars, but the doggy cheered my day, so I’ll give it a 3.5 stars.

Our visit to this winery with friends for a relaxing Sunday afternoon was very delightful. We opted for some snacks and indulged in their selection of wine and sparkling wine. The food was simply delicious. The wine and sparkling wine offerings were perfectly complementing our snacks and adding to the overall enjoyment of our experience. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely afternoon with friends.

Great food and easy to find a parking in this winery. Seem it’s a dog friendly place. The view is good if you get a window seat… The vineyard is closed.
