Delicious food, amazing staff, exquisite ambiance. Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here today. The head chef and his team did an amazing job at challenging the senses, plating up the unique and ensuring each dish was specially crafted. As a chef myself, I truly appreciate the effort and creativity that was put in preparing this amazing Autumn menu. Thank you for an amazing time yet again! Also, a special thank you to our waitress who remembered my wife and I since our last visit back on 29 July last year!

An enjoyable experience with some extremely delicious bites, and some quite eh bites. We came here on the Easter Monday, and enjoyed their 5 course menu and the marron, based off the waiter’s absolute recommendation. In essence, most of the dishes were respectable. The flavours were well balanced, ingredients cooked to perfection. Harry’s mussels from flinders were absolutely perfect and I could eat a bucket of it (and I don’t even like mussels). Now for the Marron, which were 90 dollar addition per plate, it was arguably the worst dish of the whole experience. The marron was under seasoned, although tender it was borderline undercooked and translucent. I guess they treaded the line extremely carefully in the kitchen! Alas, it was absolutely not worth 90 dollars for about 100grams (if that) of marron. An otherwise enjoyable fine dining experience.

Ten Minutes by Tractor started as a vineyard, and they now have an exceptional fine dining two hatted 👨‍🍳 modern Australia restaurant. I tried a (carnivore) tasting menu and my friend, the (plant based) tasting menu. The service was excellent, and the food presentation was fantastic. The wine was delicious, too. This was a special dining experience and definitely worth a visit. 😊 And I almost forgot to mention this. Our dinner took over 3 hours, so plan ahead.

Unreal experience. Drove down to spend the weekend in the area with my partner and this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. The food here was phenomenal, the service was amazing and the pacing between each course was perfect. Emma(?) Had been taking care of us on the night and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. I will definitely be coming back to try the 8 course menu! We had told them that we were celebrating our anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary dessert! Make sure you dress up though - this place kinda fancy

Thank you to the team at Ten minutes by Tractor. We had a wonderful family lunch. Our group included a 94 year old who is deaf and who has mobility and dietary challenges, and I'm a coeliac. The staff were wonderfully helpful and were extremely mindful of making sure they accommodated all of our needs. The food and (Ten minutes by Tractor) wine were beautifully presented and delicious. The gluten free bread was melt in the mouth and the most delicious I have tasted. The atmosphere was quiet enough for everyone to hear the conversation. We will certainly be coming back.

We celebrated 2 friends birthday here today and it was just exceptionally beautiful & memorable ! the surrounds of vineyard, beautiful decor and professional eloquent knowledge staff. Each dish was an explosion of flavour and texture, wonderfully presented. They even presented the birthday gals with signed cards ( to treasure) and sweet birthday treats. Thanks 10 Minutes by Tractor xxxx

Was lucky enough to enjoy the 5 course meal here with several friends, definitely worth the drive down from Melbourne. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent and if you are lucky enough to have the chefs table with direct view of the kithen you can watch as each dish is prepared and plated... try not to drool... Courses were spread at just the right intervals with enough time to savour each dish. Definitely not a rushed experience like we see in so many venues now as they try to push through clientele. I'm not a drinker but the drinks menu was significant. The 5 courses were preceded by some delicious bread and several snacks.

We have dined here for lunch and dinner and absolutely loved it! The wine pairing is one of the best I’ve experienced, definitely arrange a lift or designated driver as the pours are generous and delicious. We loved every dish, all the courses were creative and tasty, even the bread was outstandingly yum and we had to request another serve. Beautiful interior with comfortable seating and attentive service. We’re so lucky to have such a quality restaurant only an hour away from Melbourne!

Booked wine tasting and totally love it. Such an insight into the wine and love what they do. I would recommend you guys to have a trip there for some wine tasting!

There are no words to describe how amazing the food and people were. Every meal was a work of art and every person involved were just so kind and friendly. You could just taste the freshness in the food and the passion behind it. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my husbands 40th a wonderful experience and one to remember. The little surprise chocolates, candle, and signed card to end was such a lovely gesture.

Absolutely memorable - My husband and I had our first dinner here on our little mini-honeymoon and we will not forget it. I am Vegan and my husband is not, and they were able to provide me with my own 5 courses which was just delicious. My husband enjoyed his meals as well and the service was just next level. The whole experience is one that we will forever remember and will most likely be back here every year to cerebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you

After so many times, I've decided to go for signature menu. I must say the food are super delicious, beautifully presented, too guilty to eat. Staffs were attentive and warm The only downside is that the break between the dishes are too long. It was an 4hrs dining experience for us.

I came here for my birthday the week before Christmas. This was truly a phenomenal eating experience and it was so difficult to pick the stand out dish. Having said that the Marin was sublime and that lionsmane mushroom dish tasted like a rich beef dish. I am not a veggie eater but there was this beetroot salad dish that was delectable. I won't go through every detail of the food as I feel like I will miss something and not do it justice. The service was spectacular and each wine paired with each dish only enhanced the flavours of the wine and food. I loved every second I was there.
Megas11 — Google review
Sad to say I was underwhelmed by my experience at TMBT. I’ve wanted to dine here for over 10 years and we finally made it for our wedding anniversary, but it didn’t feel very special. Very overpriced for what it is compared to other tasting menus I’ve had. At $175pp I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to a friend. The food was good, not great. Service was good, not great (husband’s empty beer glass sat on the table for a good half an hour). Restaurant was pretty cold and the atmosphere felt a bit stiff. Really wanted to love this place as I’ve always loved the name but I guess they say never meet your heroes for a reason. :( Dishes were beautifully presented and if the price point had been closer to $125pp I think it would be justified and I suspect the dinner service would’ve been fully booked.

What can I say but this place is fabulous. My taste buds were treated like never before. The dishes were a delicate marriage of beautiful flavours, colours and the freshest of ingredients. The tasting menu we enjoyed tops anywhere else in our country in my opinion. Oh and the service top class as well. I love waiters who are professional, not trying to befriend you and serve you with the least intrusiveness and the waiters here are exactly that. Well done to the head chef and the staff.

Was there for friends birthday, food wasn't great, maybe is not my taste. i give 3 nice star for service because i ask for cake but the waitress said" i already closed the box, unless you wanted me to open it again and cut the cake for you?" I said forget it* dont worry. but i will come back to try the Restaurant because i see my type of food there....

Got to be one of the top spots for a long lunch on the peninsula. Food is always 5/5, service is always impeccable and the wine list extensive. Their bread is so good and I love the green marble throughout, it is the perfect spot for an extended lunch with friends and family. I especially loved the lamb cutlet on this occasion. Just make sure you get a driver so you can make the most of the wine list🍷

The Red Hill Community Market is a small, local market with premium products and a large assortment of local items. It is often visited for its wide variety of food and goods, as well as its picturesque country setting. Beware the NO PARKING AREAS by the side of the road; signs can be easily missed if there are other cars already parked there.
Be there by 9am, or you will be waiting hours to park (we left at 10.15am and the line to get it had 300-400 cars waiting). Plenty of love goes into the products available for sale. The cinnamon scrolls from Cinnamon Scent were a highlight - a soft bun generously covered in cream cheese. Today there were baked goods, relishes, gin, an author, cartoonist and clothes stalls. $5 parking goes to a local community group.

This is a must-visit community market. As first timers, we had no idea what to expect. Despite some reservations, we were delighted by the sheer size of the place, the extensive variety of stalls, and some delicious food and drink options to keep you going along the way. We ended up wandering, eating, purchasing and enjoying the time for a couple of hours! The place was packed and it had a lovely buzz. Some unique art works, interesting condiments, salts and spice stalls, and apparel to boot. I even enjoyed some Italian doughnuts as we exited the market. Rolled in cinnamon sugar and stuffed full of jam - they were a delightful finish to the morning.

Great variety of stores. A shame umbellas or gazebos aren't in the food area. Too hot to sit & eat today. Very well organised parking...well done LIONS. Will go again after the holiday period.

A fantastic day out kids really enjoyed it parking was not too terrible there are a few options costing $5 general grass parking money goes to the church so didn't mind. Stalls were good, usual things you would expect to see at a market. Food options were dismal. Ended up having to drive to a restaurant is there only 5 options with cues up to an hour long

Cold crazy weather but the stall holders were there and being happy and helpful through it all. Had some good food... make sure you have a gozleme! $5 for parking might be a bit rich.

My favourite market for fresh fruit & vegetables, Gorgeous George's products, Giant Springs, pickles, jams, olives, bakery goods, hot donuts & oldworld style fresh lemonade, plus many more treasures to be found. I did not take photos at the Red Hill Market & have added a clip I took in Athens for interest.
Barry Kosic — Google review
I used to love the vibe of the Christmas market but today's visit was very disappointing. The change of starting time from 8am to 9am caught me by surprise. The weather was wet but it was obvious that many stalls were not going to be there. I have attending this particular market day for over 15years and the last 2 it has become very obvious that it is becoming smaller with less stalls and a major reduction in available space for stalls. I really hope that this previously wonderful atmospheric can regain the vibrancy it once had.
Carol Ellis — Google review
The best craft market I've been to in a while, the stalls are so diverse and there are sooo many, food is high quality and delicious, all the sellers are the most friendly people. Love supporting local crafters and hearing of them talk about their passions!
Sabrina Lim (Saby) — Google review
Red Hill Market is very busy! Please drive up there early like 0900 as the car line up for parking is very long once you reach white hill road. The carpark staff are great they will direct you all the way to a free spot on the grass and then walk a few meters to the stalls. Everything is handmade, crafty and delicious. It is expensive but if you are looking for a unique gift or product definately worth a visit. Lunch/breakie is approximately $10-25 as there a re a variety of food stalls and indoor huts. Beautiful day out with family or perfect for tourists 🥐🥞🥯🍔🍕🍨🍩🥤🧋

It is one of the best markets going around. If you are a tourist in Victoria or planning a day trip, this is a must. The vibe here is fantastic, and the community of Red Hill is simply beautiful. There are plenty of unique stall holders with their artisan products. It's a fun day out for the whole family. As a stall holder myself I love coming here.

I found the range of products at the Red Hill Market by Craft Markets Australia impressive. You can find fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, jams and preserves, as well as gourmet food stalls selling delicious treats. Plus there's a great selection of handmade jewellery, artworks and crafts perfect for gifts or decorating your home. The vendors are friendly and knowledgeable about their products, so it makes for a really enjoyable experience. It's also quite affordable - almost everything is reasonably priced so you can get great value for your money. I would definitely recommend this market to anyone looking for fresh produce or a unique shopping experience.
Dani Watson — Google review
The market is great as always. But the parking attendants should consider allowing cars to park at spots closer to the market if earlier cars are starting to already exit there. Wished they consider young children and kids with pram. Aside from that great markets always by craft market Australia.

Great vibe with a variety of goods from local produce and creative crafted gifts for friends and family. Not forgetting the the welcoming staff on arrival, this market is jam packed with a little bit of everything, along with a good selection of food choices for lunch.

Great big market with a mix of craft, produce and food. Always a great morning out. Would avoid the 1st market of the year in Jan, as it's extremely busy (30 min just to get into the car park), but any other month is great

The Main Ridge Estate winery is a family-run business that has been operating for over 40 years. They produce award-winning wines from diverse vineyards in the Mornington Peninsula region. Their wines are definitely worth trying if you're on the hunt for some delicious Italian wine!
We had the most wonderful wine tasting, with excellent snacks to go with it. The owner/Sommelier(?) was extremely knowledgeable, staff were very welcoming. The wines are fantastic and the view and setting incredible. Thanks for having us!

Great atmosphere, good food, and very friendly staff. Went here for Sunday lunch and the place was quite full. Would highly recommend making a booking before coming here. Had the shared starters, saganaki, crab pasties and lamb.

I booked this family run winery as it was dog friendly, and the first time we would be visiting with our pup. We arrived half an hour late after an episode of thinking he was missing (sleeping under a jacket in the back of the car) - we were greeted by the friendly hostess, who then changed our table so we were in the best sunlight. We had a wonderful set menu and a great Pinot (good tannins) that was well recommended by the sommelier. It has a gorgeous view and an unpretentious warm character. We tried to tip and they had no tipping facilities! I will recommend to all my family and friends - and will be back. Thank you to the kind staff you made our weekend.

Very lovely and beautiful winery, which is a little smaller and more personal than others. The staff were super friendly and we had a great lunch and good Chardonnays. Highly recommended!
Kelly van Egmond — Google review
Generally speaking, the taste of the food was good, better than average. We have four ppl and it was $60 each, $240 in total but the portion was bit not worth that price. As a winery, they mainly focus on Chardonnay & Pinot Nor. Limited options, but not producing excellent results. The ones in 2020 year taste like added water into the wines. Very watery and light. In 2019 year ones are okay, but tbh for $65, you can get too many better ones in BWS or other wineries. In conclusion, it’s an overpriced fine dinning with limited wine selections. Can’t say it represents the quality of Peninsula. I wanted to give it a two stars, but the doggy cheered my day, so I’ll give it a 3.5 stars.

Great food and easy to find a parking in this winery. Seem it’s a dog friendly place. The view is good if you get a window seat… The vineyard is closed.

Our visit to this winery with friends for a relaxing Sunday afternoon was very delightful. We opted for some snacks and indulged in their selection of wine and sparkling wine. The food was simply delicious. The wine and sparkling wine offerings were perfectly complementing our snacks and adding to the overall enjoyment of our experience. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely afternoon with friends.

Such a beautiful winery - the food was beautifully presented and were all so delicious! Service was super attentive and warm, a very nice experience. Set lunch menu was of such good value, one of my favourite winery in this region. Will definitely come back again!

An absolutely wonderful lunch in a stunning setting, with a great atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. The food was delicious - we had the starters and three meals for four people, and it was more than ample, which meant that unfortunately we didn't have room to try the tempting strawberries and chocolate tart dessert. We sat inside; there's lots of space between tables and we were by a window to the view of the beautiful gardens and vineyard. One guest was gluten intolerant and there was no problem in supplying a gluten-free roll instead of the excellent artisanal bread. I can't recommend this place highly enough; in fact I messaged friends to suggest it before thinking of leaving a review. We will booking in again soon.

We sat down for a long lunch at The Larder, the restaurant at Main Ridge and it was just delightful. We sat outside on the deck looking across the vines - food was excellent, the wine just as much so, and the resident Yorkie Archie came to visit us all afternoon! The venue is more intimate than some of the bigger more well know wineries, and the team were able to answer every question we had were super attentive. Will definitely be back!

Paringa Estate is a small winery that has been winning awards for their wines for many years. They have now opened a restaurant to match and it has been very successful. The restaurant has white linen tablecloths, plush interiors, and exquisite wine pairings.
We were completely satisfied with Paringa Estate. 10/10. We went for a wine tasting, which was a great experience by itself, but the restaurant blown us away with extremely delicious and well-balanced food. We ordered mushroom parfait, crispy barramundi, sheer wagyu, and lamb shoulder - all spot on. For us, the crispy barramundi and wagyu are perfection. Our advice is to get the indoor seat with the breathtaking view to elevate your experience to the next level.

Beautiful food. My wife had a garlic allergy, and they formulated her meal, so she had the same menu just adjusted, so there was no garlic. Attention to detail was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly. The only complaint is that they could do with more comfortable chairs. Don't let that stop you trying the beautiful food, though

We were here 2 years ago with the family and they have never let us down. We had dinner this time and it was on point. Delicious food great wine. Staff are lovely. Highly recommended this place as the price is reasonable, delicious and the stuff are not pretentious like some other wineries in Mornington.
Raycamndaisy — Google review
Beautiful scenery, very good wine, and super friendly staff. The only thing is that if you come for a tasting it is a pity that they do not give you a chair to sit and taste the wines more comfortably. They didn't give us much explanation about the wines either, they just left us a piece of paper with information for us to read by ourselves. I suggest that some stools at the bar would add a lot to the tasting experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed the four course menu, the food was fresh and delicious. Well worth the price, the wagyu was melt in your mouth. Service was attentive but not too in your face. The dessert was delicious and I could have eaten them to exploding. The paired Chardonnay and Pinto Noir were also exquisite. Looking forward to the next trip to Paringa.
Eric G — Google review
The food was delicious and wine was great. Also very nice view. Tho I didn't feel like the oysters were quite fresh. All 4 course dishes were designed beautifully, however I felt a bit too full, it was quite pricy and served too quickly to the point I had to ask them to serve dessert a bit later. When I go to winery restaurants, personally prefer to have more room and time to enjoy the wine equally. The staff were very attentive and nice, I just felt they were very forceful in where to put plates and which plates and cutlery we use and even told us off once which I found a bit impolite. If there were not enough room on the table they'd move plates and wine glass (with hand next to it) so forcefully quick instead of patiently waiting and softly moving them.
Azra Abolhassani — Google review
Wow! Amazing service from start to finish. We had a wine tasting before we were seated for a 4 course meal. It's been a while since I've had a long lunch and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Paringa. Course 1: All the dishes were well portioned so you're getting value for money. Along with the 4 course, we ordered two extra entrees (oysters and lobster rolls) and the supplementary duck between 3 adults. Course 2: The mushroom with shaved beef would've been nicer if it were just a plain mushroom medley. The shaved beef was extremely salty and deterred from the natural flavours of mushrooms. I would've preferred grilled enoki or enoki wrapped with the beef to break up the beefy punch. Course 3: The coral trout with foam was exquisite. As much as I love red meat, especially if it's wagyu, I enjoyed the fish dish more. Course 4: I would've rated the parfait if it weren't doused in olive oil–it didn't add to the dish at all and packed a sweet/savoury punch that was unlike salted caramel. That was a shame! Alcohol: My favourite wine had to be the rosé and estate Chardonnay. Glasses were as expensive as a dish so you may as well buy a bottle when you're dining for 2-2.5 hours. Next time I visit I'll try the garden dining and sit outside to soak up the view.

My husband brought me to Paringa Estate for a surprise birthday lunch & it did not disappoint! Situated in Red Hill overlooking the vineyards, this beautiful winery is a must visit. We had a set 4 course menu which you can add to if you wish. The flavours, combinations of ingredients & presentation of the dishes were exquisite, you have to try the King Island Rock Lobster Bun, it is optional, the scallops were amazing, as was the Sher Wagu. Everything was just so delicious & the service was outstanding!

A gorgeous Saturday lunch from beginning to end - service was exceptional (professional but relaxed and friendly), as was the food and ambience. Not to mention the Paringa wines! Delicious food, aromatic wines and amazing views - a trip to Paringa is definitely worth the drive! Lovely creamy oysters beautifully paired with a bright, refreshing dressing. Located on McIlroys Rd, Ellisfield Farm provides visitors with the opportunity to personally select their own cherries (including morello cherries) between the months of November and January. Additionally, during the months of March and April, quinces are available for picking. Operating exclusively on weekends from 9.00 a.m., this farm offers an enjoyable experience for fruit enthusiasts looking to engage in a unique hands-on activity.
Homemade strawberry jam was beautiful and the white goose down quilt made for a luxurious night's sleep. The cottage was bigger than I expected. A lovely experience.

It was the worst exp i have for a long time. When i called up, was told only $8 entry fee. When arrived, was told it is actually $8 + $12 per person as minimum of 1 kg per person ($20). Was also told only allowed 30 minutes. Tried to reason with the rude and abusive owners, but was told that our kind likes to come to their farm to eat cherries without paying.... We are from Asian background, it was very offensive. Do not recommend unleas like to be abuse and treated with bad manners.
John Koo — Google review
While the sight of the rolling hills and farm are amazing, I and my family feel the farm somewhat 'misrepresented' itself. Full of signs saying 'strawberries & cherries' we were guided on the belief it would be available for picking. How wrong we were. We were told in a frank way "there is no picking of strawberries here for the public" and there was "no edible cherry picking available" even though it was in the middle of January! This completely contradicted the signage and website details. Avoid; not worth the trip.
Matthew Rawley — Google review
A bit disappointing really. You pay $20 for half an hour in the field and 1kg max, only allowed to "taste 1 or 2". Whilst you can buy picked cherries for $15/kg! I won't be coming back unfortunately.

Was there for friends birthday, food wasn't great, maybe is not my taste. i give 3 nice star for service because i ask for cake but the waitress said" i already closed the box, unless you wanted me to open it again and cut the cake for you?" Got to be one of the top spots for a long lunch on the peninsula.

All I can say is absolute bliss! Had the pleasure of going to lunch here during the first couple of weeks in January (menu may have changed soon ready this). Everything was absolutely delicious from the entree right through to dessert. The service was amazing and they happily accommodated for us as we had a toddler. The views were spectacular of the vineyard I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

This was one of the best experiences. We went there for my wife's birthday lunch. They had no issues accommodating our four year old toddler. It was an absolutely beautiful and perfect day for visiting a winery. Just entering the architecture and design is stunning. This is a very refined and upscale winery so don't forget to dress up for the occasion. The views from the restaurant and bar are incredible. It's the perfect place for couples or those special occasions. We had the three course set menu lunch with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay. The service and food was exceptional. Highly recommend!

A lovely curated dinner and super attentive servers who made us feel part of the family. The room! Stunning! Nothing was overlooked. Very private and inviting. The decor and deck out was beautiful. I want a bathroom like this! Can't rate more highly.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a gorgeous wedding at Port Phillip Estate recently. The venue is absolutely breathtaking! Stunning architecture, with gorgeous natural lighting coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the interiors, and an epic concrete exterior offering the most spectacular backdrop. All beautifully complemented by the panoramic vineyard vista, allowing for countless beautiful photo opportunities. LOVE!!!

Beautiful location and a stunning view from our table. I had the asparagus for my starter, it was delicious but a small serve. I had the eggplant for my main and it was dry and lacked flavour. It was a half of the small eggplant. I had the strawberry sponge for dessert however the sponge was not light it was heavy. Coffee was weak and lukewarm. The staff were polite and pleasant. Overall, expensive and serves were too small.

Fantastic and friendly experience! Chris (or Craig) and Ash have been amazing hosts, they know their wines and we felt welcomed. Although Port Philipp is a famous wine brand, they have still kept all the charm of a small boutique! We definitely recommend this place and their Farrago Chardonnay. Thank you.

Most often I will visit a winery when we are away and this time I booked Port Phillip Estate. The ambiance and food was amazing but I didn’t seem to feel comfortable whilst dining in there? Maybe the tables were too close together, so there was no privacy between each table. The quality of the food was superb and stand outs for me was the lamb main dish and the pineapple dessert. But unfortunately I will not be visiting again.

Venue and service were great. Worth the drive. However food (lunch) was the let down. The cod and pasta entrees started off on the right foot however it all went downhill from thereon. I'd give my overall experience 3.5 stars.

The place itself, along with the view, is beautiful. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. My disappointment came from the food itself. The entrée was fine - I wouldn't say great. My husband and I had the pasta and chickpea/tomato dish. But the main really let us down. We both had the duck. One, small piece of duck (slice from a fillet, about an inch wide) for a main was very surprising. It was served with charred radicchio and some very strong, strange tasting sauce. I could not eat the radicchio as it was so charred it tasted like eating coal and hardly touched the sauce. On top of that , the duck fat was not rendered properly on mine and i had to take some of the skin off and was a bit on the rare side for me. We ordered a side serve of potatoes which unfortunately tasted like they were either re-heated or kept warm for hours, bit dry and only just warm. The deserts were lovely in presentation and ok. For the price that you pay, you would expect much better.

I cannot fault this venue. Ok, maybe it's not the place for you if you're on a tight budget, but it is silver service dining and you definitely get what you pay for. The service is excellent, food is amazing, and the view will take your breath away. We were even treated to two wedge-tail eagles circling in the thermals outside. A very memorable experience.
Brett Harris — Google review
Hard to fault. The building is superb concealing the amazing view until you enter, then once inside, the dining room encompasses all the beauty of the valley below. The food is delicious. The service fabulous. The wine, beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, elegant and spacious and look out over the vineyards. If I have one criticism, it’s that in the evening there was nothing open in the hotel to get any food from. They promised us a cheese platter to tide us over after our massive degustation lunch, but the platter they they brought was very small and left us really hungry overnight. But that aside, it is a truly wonderful experience staying there.
Jeremy Stanford — Google review
Dined in the Restaurant with 5 others. Service was impeccable, views and architecture stunning, wines brilliant but the food was a little underwhelming and topped off by a cold cappuccino to finish. Our guest described the Wagyu Special (additional $25) as quite ordinary and no better than a good Scotch fillet. I chose Kingfish which was outstanding but the accompaniments of pickled cucumber mounded on varios greens did little to enhance the hero of the dish. The stand outs at the table were the Lamb Noisettes and certainly the Duck with Plum tart. The most disappointed guests were those that selected the vegetarian options.. the less said the better. Whilst the wine, service and ambience saved the day, I wouldn't return to dine.
Rod Leembruggen — Google review
All the food and desserts were good especially the lamb and oysters. We got there for our 12 noon booking and it was not that busy yet but the food took too long to arrive. I think the venue didn’t have enough staff as our wine glasses were long emptied and have to wait and ask to be refilled. Ordered our 3rd bottle of wine, my son in-law have to take our wine bottle himself to pour out as we can’t wait anymore for any service to come by. Again, food was good but took too long, venue was ok. Still gave them 10% tip for a very bad service experience because a waitress (Serena) seems apologetic enough but will never come back again. Go spend your money in another place if you want the complete package of good food with exceptional service….

Stunning venue! Got so excited about the food that I forgot to take photos 😂 For someone who is usually gluten free, I couldn’t say no to the house made bread - no regrets. Best bread I’ve eaten in who-knows-how-long?! Entrees we’re good and everyone was impressed with their main meals although the fish was a little bit dry. Needed something saucy even if it was on the side. Desserts didn’t disappoint and staff were superb professionals. Magnificent.

My now fiancee and I got engaged at this property, dined at the restaurant and also stayed for 2-nights in late October. If you have high expectations for luxury properties, and appreciate uniqueness, quality of service, and personal touch, this is a fantastic romantic weekend. Super boutique (6 rooms, all walk into vineyard where only hotel quests are allowed) and absolutely stunning location and architecture. Large, well appointed rooms tucked away under the building (super cool). Restaurant was possibly the best we had during our 2 weeks in Australia. Only knock is that it's not "full service" like a Ritz / Four Seasons (also no pool, workout etc) but that wouldn't really jive with the experience here.

There are plenty of options to stay on the Mornington Peninsula but Port Phillip Estate is by far the best. We bought the Dolce Vita package which was excellent value. The customer service is top class. From the moment Elliot welcomed us to all the other F&B staff. Incredibly friendly & professional. Lunch in the Dining Room overlooking the vineyard was exquisite. The scallops a real highlight. There are only 6 rooms on the property all looking out onto the vineyard. Luxuriously appointed & very elegant. We felt so spoilt during this stay & will have beautiful memories of our weekend away. Thanks so much to the staff for making it so special.

Very impressive! The food was magnificent. Each dish was excellent. The fitout is terrific, not noisy like a lot of places. A stunning venue with a great philosophy. The open kitchen showcases the woodfire and imparts a rustic atmosphere. The staff are attentive and lovely. The house spritz was herbaceous and refreshing. Each dish was beautifully presented, and I enjoyed the little explanations when each dish was brought to the table about where the produce was sourced. The only reason I can't give 5 stars all around, was the timing between courses. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes between our mid course (tuna) and our main course (lamb). The previous courses were coming out at a more reasonable pace prior to this (when we finished a course, they would bring the next course about 10 minutes later). I understand the whole long lunch vibe, but in my opinion, that's far too long to wait between courses, and while the food was delicious, my enjoyment was diminished because of that wait. However, I'm not sure if this was just a one-off issue on the day we went. Other than this, we had a lovely and memorable experience, and would definitely recommend this restaurant as must visit.

Beaune has Ma Cuisine, Mornington has… Tedesca? In the laid-back wine country of Mornington Peninsula, home to many of Australia’s Pinot Noir producers — a rustic cottage stands on the edge of a valley, overlooking the neat rows of its farm. Hidden beneath a trap door is one of the peninsula’s best stocked wine cellars; the wine list an encyclopaedia almost, with an extensive range and rare allocations. Getting access to this wine list is notoriously difficult, but an afternoon in one of the osteria’s 30 seats is an afternoon well spent, observing how your wine evolves over the hours to the slow but steady rhythm of the little kitchen. There is pasta freshly made every morning, springy to the bite. The thin crust of wood-fired pitas, cradling with care a parcel of olives. Simple, homely food, matching equally rustic surroundings. Unlike Ma Cuisine, there is only one set menu at Tedesca, which dictates to a certain degree the choice of wines to go with your meal. There is enough food to satisfy both lunch and dinner. $185 per person covers a farm-to-table experience and the privilege to pore over and sip from a geeky wine list. We are left only to regret the wines we do not get to drink.
Vera Chu — Google review
From start to finish the experience was excellent. This is humble, rustic Italian cuisine amongst the beauty of Red Hill. A really special moment were the zeppole at the start, as they were a childhood favourite from my nonnas kitchen. The hapuka was definitely my favourite dish and the starters were a wonderful selection. My partner has allergies and he was well catered for. Service was excellent, albeit a little slow but you’re supposed to sit and enjoy a long lunch. Don’t come if you’re expecting a quick meal, as you need the time to take it all in.

After failed to book for this restaurant twice before, I was almost jumping for joy when I finally secured a Sunday lunch spot for my husband & I. From the minute we entered a lovely white weatherboard house with a magnificent garden, an impressive timber front door, into a beautiful flower-sprayed dinning room with fireplace, this restaurant certainly makes a statement, an experience we are not likely to forget for a long time. What can I say about delicious food that already not been said many times before, everything is perfectly cooked with beautiful fresh produce and beautifully presented, our lunch lasted 3.5 hours, plenty time to savour each dish and wine, Tedesca certainly takes the lazy Sunday lunch to a new level. If you ever wondering what the hype is about, I can only suggest you try it yourself.

Our children gave us a voucher as a Christmas present over two years ago and we have finally made it! Well worth the wait. From entering through the front door that is an opening statement we were seated with a view to the wood fire cooking and food prep area, a fascinating and pleasing theatre that played out over nearly four hours. To see the aged ribeye trimmed and thickly sliced ready for cooking over coals, the trout sliced and cooked to perfection and the Serrano jamon being sliced tissue thin to be added to the pasta made our day special as the chefs openly shared their skills. Wait staff are professional and knowledgeable and the wine list impressive. The dedication of Brigitte Hafner to quality and sourcing excellent ingredients pays off in spades and Tedesca is a destination dining must.

$700 for degustation menu for 4 - in the end gave up waiting for last course and left. If you hold yourself out as a premium dining experience, your service needs to be better than average at least. Our table was not even cleared some 30 minutes after penultimate course. So disappointing service was so poor as the food was actually very good.

Delightful restaurant experience. Albeit found the food good but not excellent. The fish wasn't overly flavoursome or unique and the chicken was good but again did not blow your socks off. I've found the Rare Hare to be the better of the two restaurants. With that said there is certainly more on the menu that I didn't have the chance to try. Staff were impeccable and service is 5 star.

We've heard a fair bit about the restaurant thus, when we secured our accommodations at the hotel, we decided to book a table for dinner with our friends since we are a long way from home. There's quite a lot of hype on the restaurant so expectations were high. First you are greeted with the black and modern decor, with lights that dim and brightened throughout the night. As a person with some degree of night blindness, it bothered me. Our friends too. Maybe we are older, and this was way to trendy for us. Maybe it was to add to the atmosphere, but didn't do much for me. But the light fixtures were something else, definitely better viewed in the day IMHO. That way, you can truly see the extent of the fixtures. FYI, the restaurant is where you'd have breakfast in the mornings and I LOVED BREAKFAST. Every single dish we had was flavourful and fresh, and beautifully plated. Service by Emily was good, can't say the same for the rest, as we had to ask for service a few times in the mornings as they had forgotten some things. Likewise for dinner service! Exquisitely decorated plates for all the courses. I must say, we didn't like the oysters. While they were fresh, somehow the special sauce didn't do it for me, nor anyone else who had oysters on the table. As mentioned, we were all enjoying all the innovative courses, tasty and filled with textures and layers, until dessert... Dessert, every single one we had was such a letdown. It didn't help that we waited more than 40 minutes and asked for updates on it 3 times. Disappointing because we were so impressed with our appetizers and main courses and were at the climax! It would have been 5 stars for sure had dessert impressed us as well. Sadly, it did not. While the menu description made each of them sound really exciting, they didn't excite any of our tsstebuds. And there wasn't much service recovery either. Service was also pretty good right until we finished our main courses and started the wait. What a bummer. By the end of all the waiting, we were all so exhausted, and couldn't wait to get out, we didn't even bother to stay for the petit fours, and as we stood up to leave, no staff attempted to remind us either... Another set of diners left abruptly as they didn't want to have their desserts anymore. Overall, I enjoyed the dining experience, but would definitely do without dessert. Would I return for dinner, maybe no desserts next time, especially if I have to wait that long again. But call me for breakfast again, anytime!

I had actually never heard of this restaurant until I received a Jackalope gift voucher from my friends. So I decided to use it on a nice dinner at Doot Doot Doot to celebrate my birthday, and I’m so glad I did. The customer service from all the servers were fantastic, very professional and friendly. We really liked our server, Thomas, who was very attentive. He encouraged questions to be asked if we weren’t sure of anything, and if he didn’t know the answer, he went to find out for us. The food was amazing! We enjoyed everything we ordered and this is probably one of our favourite restaurants now. Will be back in the future.

We loved our dining experience at DOOT DOOT DOOT. Our server Gemma was kind and knowledgeable and we had an overall great experience. I think the price point of $125 per person was quite reasonable for the food and experience we received. Some of the dishes were experimental but not too much that they weren’t edible, they were exciting and tasty. We especially enjoyed the ‘bacon and eggs’ among other things. We would recommend to others :)

Really friendly staff and great food! One of the best meals I've had, all the dishes were balanced really well with great texture throughout all courses. Jam doubt parfait was my favourite :)

One of the must try regional restaurants people always talk about. First thing - what a ceiling! It dims and glows through the night. Food is pretty good (given the price too - very reasonable cost for a "degustation"). More like a tasting menu to be honest. Nothing really stood out per se, but definitely worth a try if you wanted a night away and some fine dining! Breakfast from here was great as well (nothing brunch fancy but simple and delicious)

We had a Amazing dinner at Doot Doot Doot last Tuesday. The food and drinks were an absolute delight. The cocktails were very refreshing and a little dangerous as they were so easy to drink. The flavours and textures of each of the dishes were truly amazing! The service was second to none as each member of the team were highly knowledgeable and of course very helpful. Huge thanks to Grace, Amanda and Kate for making the night wonderful.

The service was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the lively atmosphere. While the food didn't fully satisfy our taste buds, we appreciated the ambiance they cultivated. I highly recommend it for a romantic date.

Stunning vista and fabulous venue. Delightful staff. Hard to go wrong here although the lemon sorbet accompaniment with the Harpuka was a little startling … Defs not my thing. The desserts were a bit funky too, but I do believe we are spoilt for food in Melbourne. It’s hard to consistently outperform your own benchmark and expectations of an increasingly opinionated public!

Really enjoyed an amazing night at Doot Doot Doot. Our server was very attentive, friendly and took the time to answer our questions and find out more. Was great to see he was honest, well thought out and prepared when answering my questions. Great job! Overall, I really enjoyed all the dishes, with each giving a different unique and unpredictable experience. It was more than just a taste, but truly a remarkable journey of flavours and textures, with twists and turns. Highly recommend anyone going out for more than just food. Thank you to the team and to the chefs crafting such an exquisite experience.

Why isn't this a 3 hatted restaurant? The food is innovative and delicious. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive but ever present. The decor is memorable... a must try on the Penninsula.Revisited April 2024 is this dining experience even getting even better with time?
