This is a must try! They serve you (free) aperitif shots before your meal that opens up your appetite and one after your meal too. The service is impeccable, super friendly and attentive staff that make you feel welcomed. Every dish we ordered was so delicious and perfectly cooked. The gnocchi is by far the best gnocchi I’ve ever had in my life! I had the truffle gnocchi and they put generous amounts of truffle in it, I’ve never seen this anywhere else (normally you get a few small shavings) but here they put large pieces. The gnocchi was so soft and fluffy. Not to mention the portions are very generous. They even offered a discount for our second time there. This is actually the best restaurant in Hvar

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner here. They were so polite, and the dishes far exceeded my expectations. I especially like the sauce that came with the beef gnocchi. It was the perfect amount of tart and savory for the beef! We also ordered the granny’s home made cake and octopus carpaccio and enjoyed every bite! Very happy!

Great restaurant with good food, good wine list and above all, I must pointed out is service. We felt very welcomed and our waiters ( Filip 1 and Filip 2 ) were very knowledgeable in recommendations about food and wine we were wishing to order. Also we have received some complimentary finger food and desert wine while we were waiting for our food. We have spent wonderful time in Dalmatino restaurant. Prices are reasonable.

Best service on the island. Fresh grilled John Dory fish was the best I’ve ever had. The Gnocci was spectacular. The desserts were superb. This is honestly an excellent restaurant and the service was, again, quite exceptional. I would highly recommend if you’re in Hvar.

Best service in town. The waiters went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. The sea bass was good but the fava beans could have done with some more sauce or feta mouse as it was on the drier side.

Amazing! We got the courgette carpaccio and Gorgonzola gnocchi - both were excellent. I’m not a big fan of blue cheese but the sauce was delicious and not overpowering. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked. The cheesecake was divine! The service was fantastic- staff were very friendly and attentive, providing complimentary bread and little bits to taste. Great meal for vegetarians. We would have loved to have gone back if we’d had time.

Overrated and overpriced. Positives: excellent service, good wine list, nice cocktail list, some food is very good (like zucchini carpaccio and soup). Negatives: everything way overpriced, gnocchi dishes have hard gnocchi, beef with pepper sauce was exceptionally (and unexpectedly) spicy, cocktails with NYC prices, wines priced decently enough. Overall 4* is fair if your wallet feels fat. Sit outside if you can.

Stumbled across Dalmatino when we were looking for dinner, walked up an alley and saw a very lively area full of music and people enjoying a drink and dinner. Luckily we managed to get a table in Dalmatino even tho they were fully booked. To say it was amazing is an understatement, the best place we have come across on our holidays. The food was top class, but the service was like nothing I’ve come across before the waiters were so friendly and each of them stepped to chat to us making us feel at home. Complimentary starter and local wine were a lovely touch. Honestly would recommend this place to everyone! The food we got was the shared platter of chicken and steak, both cooked perfectly and with a sauce of your choice and fried potatoes. Dessert was the recommended granny’s cake and cheese cake both lovely! The lady who has been making the cake has done so for decades and the waiters tell the story of how they would come up as children to have her famous cake. Very lovely restaurant, flawless ! The food was fresh, flavorful and original, it is an experience to lunch or dine here. The service extremely attentive and efficient, looking after you at every moment. Slightly more expensive than other options but the quality of both the food & service justify it. I especially recommend the shrimp and black truffle gnocchi and fish soup. You won’t be disappointed.

Great dinner in Hvar! Make sure you book to get a lovely spot outside. Delicious truffle black gnocchi, it’s creamy and filling! Loved the octopus carpaccio too. This is a must go when visiting Hvar. Service is excellent, attentive and courteous. Would recommend this place!

First of all, phenomenal service. Both waiters were super nice and happy to provide recommendations. Second, the food was delicious. The caprese salad was perfectly refreshing. We tried three different gnocchi and the were all great too. Nice outdoor atmosphere as well. Eat here.

Amazing food and excellent staff. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients, the history and where the food and wine come from. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. They made an off menu item for a picky eater at our table as well. We’ve had several great restaurant experiences in Hvar, however this was definitely the best.

Couldn’t fault Dalmatino up until the end of the meal. We had to ask for our bill twice and we’re waiting 20 minutes for it. The food was amazing, the gnocchi is so good. The service up until that point was so attentive, with our waiter explaining everything to us and making recommendations.

Impeccable service! We tried our luck on getting a table for dinner and are so glad we did!! You are looked after by every employee from the moment you are seated. We were treated to a welcome local fruit and drink, as well as a small entree from the chef. Waiters ensured we diddnt need to fill our water or wine once. Their knowledge of the menu is so good, we were spoken through every dish that we wanted to know more on. Will happily be returning as the food was delicious and service was so fast!

Nice restaurant just a few minutes by foot from the marina. The waiters were super attentive and had so much information about the food, I never got this much info before. The food was amazing, we ordered many different dishes and everything was so good! Like others have mentioned the black truffle gnocchi are out of this world! Also the beef tartar was something special. I'm surprised about the prices, the ambience was so chic, the food was very well presented and good quality, the service was as good as in high class places I visited in the past (in Germany and other countries) yet we didn't pay much more than in some Konobas we tried out (in Trogir and Bol). Great job!

Steak and gnocchi to die for! The staff were really friendly providing some pre and post meal drinks. The grandmas cake and cheesecake for desert were really delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough, even had a lovely cat to keep us company.

Excellent experience, from the attentive service to the delicious food. On the higher end in terms of prices but worth it. Each one of our servers seemed to care to provide a special experience and they truly did. The post dinner liquor is a must try. Fantastic restaurant with delicious food, super friendly waiters, and lively atmosphere. There’s a reason everyone raves about this place! We had a lovely table outside and it was great to hear some live music from the next door bar. All the waiters were incredibly friendly. Our food was really tasty. I could have easily had second helpings of the tuna tartare and octopus carpaccio. The black gnocchi with shrimp and truffle was also really good. And the grandma’s cake for dessert was perfect - not too sweet and perfectly dense. The welcome and end-of-meal drinks were a fantastic touch. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Really loved the food here. Fantastic starters with beef Tartare and soups. The wine was decent and the staff was wonderful. The best part of the whole journey definitely was the Cut for Two people with a variety of different pieces of meat. Each more delicious than the other one. The portion was enormous. We came hungry and still sadly couldn't finish it. Maybe potential to improve here the amount/price of the dish. Otherwise definitely an expensive restaurant but fantastic products and dishes.

Very delicious food but the staff and service was super slow… we waited 15-20 minutes to order our food and waited 30 minutes to get a waiter to bring us the check so we could pay. They were super friendly once you got contact to one of the staff, but it was nearly impossible. But the food was really good!! We had the tuna steak and Beef tenderloin as it was prepared to perfection. We had a whiskey sour and an espresso martini. The martini was kinda watery and not very creamy (it had too much coffee in it) but the whiskey sour was super good.

Phenomenal food. Best steak I’ve ever had and I eat steak everywhere I go. Cocktails were also great. Service a touch slow (was a busy time) but staff were very friendly and worked hard to make sure you were happy. Would absolutely eat there again.

Everything about this place is exceptional! We arrived without a reservation and no table was available, but the hostesses at the reception (who are super friendly, well organized, customer-oriented and professional) put us on a waiting list and made sure that we still had a great time while we waited. So they sat us at the bar where we met the incredibly friendly and talented bartender, Alina. Alina prepared for us a delicious Daiquiri and the hands-down best Amaretto Sour I've ever had. I actually had to repeat because it was so good. I don't think I can ever drink an Amaretto Sour anywhere else, because I would always compare it to Alina's Amaretto Sour and it wouldn't even get close. :-) After a couple of minutes the hostess sat us at a free table and we ordered food. I have no words for the food, except that it was heaven! I ordered the tuna steak and potatoes with truffle sauce, pancetta and parsley. I get hungry again by just thinking about it. It was that good! And don't even get me started about the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. It was just out of this world. Also our waiter, Antonio, was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional. So we loved everything about this place and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you for this amazing experience!

The service and atmosphere were pretty much perfect. Really nice place to go for a classy dinner and some drinks. The wine selection is impressive. The steak tartar was unbelievably good and more than I expected. Grilled salmon and truffled mashed potatoes were good. The not so good part is that the main dishes don't come with any sides, and the sides were less than impressive. It was roughly €5 each for the mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, which the corn was unpresentable and not so fresh. It looked pre-frozen, to be honest. The Irish Black Angus Steak was sadly unimpressive. Large amounts of fat, connective tissue, and what I assume to be meat glue in pretty much every bite. Ordered medium rare, what arrived was at least extra rare if not blue. I did not ask for it to be cooked more because that part didn't really bother me, but the quality of the meat itself was for sure worth less than half of what I paid for. Still a good experience overall, and the server gave us a very tasty complimentary drink following the dinner (not because of complaints about the food). I would still go back for another dinner, but I would probably order a seafood dish rather than steak.

This was the most delicious meal, I had a glass of wine, a steak(with topping), a side dish and a bowl of handmade pasta. The steak was cooked perfectly and everything tasted amazing. The staff was so kind and sweet. I was traveling solo I didn't make a reservation I tried to get a table here and 1 other restaurant. The other wouldn't even wait list me for a table or even a seat at the bar. The host here took my info and put me on a wait list. I had a nice table right in the middle of the restaurant. The whole dinner was $66USD plus tip. At home the steak alone would have cost that alone.

What a beautiful evening meal, by far the best food tasted in Split after 4 nights here! Table service was timely and polite with one waitress "Ana" going the extra mile... when a small fly flew into my partners glass of red wine, we tried fishing it out and it was immediately replaced with insistence despite us successfully fishing out the critter. Great place to eat, ignore the price, you get what you pay for and more.... 5*

Had breakfast there and tried the egg burger, veggie omelet and American pancakes. The food was very good and the prices were great for the quality of the food. However, we had to wait around 30’ to get our food, hence the 4 stars. The staff was very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend it for a nice breakfast in Split.

Probably among the best steaks we had in Croatia. Good location, very good service and excellent food. Not cheap but worth every Kuna and a clear recommendation. We had no reservation but they found a nice table, nevertheless I clearly recommend to reserve in advance in high season.

Absolutely wonderful service here, very nice place for dinner. A bit pricey but I already knew that prior to dining. Fantastic service. Amazing drinks some of the best I have had in a long time. The mojito and cosmopolitan were amazing. I orders the goat cheese tarts and the usda tenderloin. Exceptional.

I had a delightful dining experience at Chops Grill! The meat platter for two was a carnivore's dream, with succulent beef tenderloins, tender veal, and flavorful chicken. The dessert was equally impressive – the lava cake was a rich, gooey delight, and the chocolate and raspberry creation was a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable meaty and sweet treat!

Visited for my birthday. Fantastic restaurant, staff were amazing and stayed very professional throughout all the thunder storms. You must try the wagyu and Angus ribeye, both amazing! Couldn't recommend Chops enough.

Had my birthday dinner here. Got beef wellington, veal steak, rumpsteak, and the salmon. Everything was top notch and definitely worth the price. The beef wellington doesn't have ham, but the fillet itself has some wine-y flavour to it so you don't really need the ham anyways.

This place was absolutely perfect. Did not expect what we got. $125 tab, after tip. We had a fabulous Ribeye 10.5 oz and Filet 8oz along with plenty of sides and dessert. Milan was a fabulous server. How often does someone advise you NOT to get something off of the menu? Well, he did and we thank him for his honesty. This place is a must dine if you are in Split.

This restaurant is an easy 10/10! Our waiter Milan was so top tier! He was patient, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, & clearly communicated his meal and drink recommendations based on the customer’s likes and dislikes. My friends and I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday & we really enjoyed our time here. If we don’t return anytime soon, we are sure to recommend this restaurant along with Milan’s service to anyone we know traveling to Split!

Here hospitality meets great food, amazing port views and great culinary experience. If you want a front row seat, I recommend booking ahead of time over email. This is our second time in this restaurant and I can’t recommend enough. Amazing fresh fish cooked to perfection. Hospitality is just top notch. They give you amazing guide, explain you how your food is prepared. I can definitely recommend their catch of the day fish and their strawberry spritz.

Nice place to dine and enjoy the scenery if you’re sitting next to the harbour. Also they have an indoor space to enjoy 😉 it cozy if you just want to have a chatting room. The other side is next to the monument of Marin, that you can enjoy the view of the old town streets while sipping a drink. Overall, everything is nice 👍

Loved this place, we came back the next night for drinks. If you have a dinner reservation you will most likely be sat outside on the harbor side and the view is nice. The next night we didn’t have a reservation and just wanted drinks and were sat on the opposite side (still outside) with a view of the square. The food and service were great (party of 5). The old fashioned was excellent. I’m not normally a fan of this drink but this one was amazing; it’s the main reason we went back for drinks.

Dinner was good! A little bit more expensive than some other places, but you’re paying for the views for sure. The steak was good, but lacked seasoning. We also got the fish of the day, which ended up being ahi tuna and it was good as well. We did not have a reservation, so we didn’t sit as close on the patio portion closest to the water, we were just inside, which was still really nice. Our waiter was amazing, good vibes, had a piano player halfway through the evening.

We came here as a walk in on Saturday night and we are so glad we did as it was the perfect end to our trip. Definitely in our top 3 places to eat in the old town as the atmosphere was fantastic! Being there in the evening with the views of the port felt surreal. Service was impeccable, food was fantastic and live music was superb. The only fault was ours for not booking it (which meant we had to wait in the bar for a little while- but it was so worth the wait). If you are visiting, definitely book especially on a Friday/ Saturday evening.

Great restaurant with an amazing terrace and picturesque view. They have heaters and blankets for the outdoor area. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is extremely friendly and attentive. We loved this place so much (especially the mushroom and truffle pasta) that we came back directly the next night. 100% recommend!

The best restaurant to visit while in the old town! Highly Recommended !!!!! The view over the harbor is a dream - come just before sunset and watch the colour a change over the harbor and town. If you choose to look Over the square you can sit on the other side of the restaurant! Very romantic very well served

Outstanding service together with great food! Service was on point, friendly and warm waiter. The food was good, I order the cheese plate and the tuna tartar as starters, for my main truffle and mushroom pasta (for me it was lacking a bit of salt) and apple pie for desert. The cocktails and the wine were superb. Overall very happy with my experience.

If you’re in Dubrovnik, I’d definitely recommend to give @gradskakavanaarsenalrestaurant a visit because the view is just unbeatable! It was an incredible experience enjoying fresh seafood by the water with the beautiful arch. The food is good but not superb considering that it’s quite pricey, and there were many people so could be hard to get a hold of the server. I think the mussels can be skipped, but the squid was excellent and I wish I got to try their fish or other seafood as well!

Beautiful restaurant and location in Dubrovnik, it made our stay. We weren’t able to reserve a table for dinner but went for a drink as we were promised to be seated. Ended up with a great table with a view of the harbour immediately on arrival (pictured). Highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment and requesting the east wing of the restaurant for the best views, which combined with the arches are breathtaking. The ambiance at night was stunning, waiting staff were extremely professional and faultless. The food was excellent we had sea bass, truffle pasta, beef steak and a selection of the daily desserts. Price is extremely fair given the location, service and quality of the food. I loved that they had Stina Pôsip on the menu. Too tip don’t skip dessert even if you’re full as you will regret it. The white chocolate and pistachio was sublime. If you want a special evening this is the place.

Probably my favourite dining experience to date!!! Exceptionally good food and service. Our waiter Marko did everything to make sure we had the most wonderful time - his service was warm, friendly and professional. He also suggested a perfect Croatian white wine pairing with my main which was a delicious sea bass. I would highly recommend dining here. Try to get a table by the sea - the view is incredible. Gets very busy in the evenings, but we had no trouble getting a table at 5:30pm. Thank you to the whole team at Arsenal for a wonderful experience ❤️

We went here twice during our trip to Dubrovnik. The black risotto is to die for! We also tried the chicken breast and the steak, both very good. The location is really beautiful and I would recommend to book a table in advance so that you have a chance to get the tables with the best view. We also went once without a booking and we were able to get a table with no waiting time, but probably better to book in advance just to be sure. The dishes are expensive, but I believe they have a good price quality ratio given the prices in Dubrovnik.

We stopped here for breakfast on our walk around old town. The food and views were amazing. I got the ham and cheese croissant sandwich which was light and delicious. We also got a bread basket with a variety of breads and spreads. The Bellini was refreshing! The view of the harbor was nice. Great place to relax!

Fantastic seafood with fantastic sea view! The waiter Ivan Sare was very friendly and warm. He took super good care of us. Oysters were super fresh and sweet. Sailor Style Risotto and Fish Stew were very delicious too. We cleared everything on the plates including the sauce! BTW don't miss the table olive oil and vigenar coz they have a beautiful aroma and go very well with their well-baked bread.

Beautiful place to eat and the live guitarist made the ambiance incredibly romantic. The place is on the old town port which is my favourite part of the city. It gets super busy and the waiters and waitresses do a great job at flurrying around providing fast service. The food itself was good - but a little on the salty side. It just tasted a little too salty.

We came here for dinner in the busiest hour and we didn't waited for our food more than usual. Food is perfectly prepared and presented. stopped at this place for breakfast and loved it! they had iced coffee with almond milk which is harder to find in europe (more like an iced latte not iced coffee but still good). The outdoor seating on both ends was picturesque and amazing views. Service was friendly and accommodating but it did take a while to get the check. The “healthy breakfast” seemed like a lunch salad but still amazing!!! iced tea was good as well and they had clean bathrooms.

Gradska kavana arsenal is a great choice for a romantic dinner by the bay with historical monuments around overlooking the city and situated next to waterfront/harbor. Wonderful selection of wines and good food for seafood lovers they have a wide variety of seafood on their menu. Recommended for a friendly or romantic dinner with a mind boggling view.

Beautiful restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and view. Oysters, octopus salad, and seafood risotto was delicious. The truffle pasta was not impressed though. It tasted like basic Alfredo sauce, that was disappointing. I would recommend coming here and skipping the truffle pasta!

If you are debating what to eat in the Old Town, just head to this place and have their daily special Fish dish! Their fish dish is fresh, delicate, and most importantly delicious. We were eating the last bite of fish — it was sooooo good! Black risotto was quite tasty too. The pairing of the white wine Ante (our server) suggested with our dishes was just perfect. Ante’s service was thoughtful and excellent. He patiently waited on us and offered great options per our preference. Not to mention how gorgeous the view was from our table outside! Their ambience was a great addition to their amazing food and Ante’s tasteful service!

We went here for our wedding anniversary meal whilst in Dubrovnik and it did not disappoint. From start to finish the service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. We actually had the special set menu that they had on as part of a local food festival. Each course was delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Croatian red. We were unable to sit in the outside terrace due to the weather but the atmosphere inside was lovely. The waiter gave us a complimentary walnut brandy to finish

Flawless meal. Every aspect was truly outstanding. Favorite meal in Dubrovnik, and we tried many places, large and small, very cheap and very expensive. Secret: The chef has some clever surprises. There was a generous spoonful of caviar hidden under the basil leaves atop the octopus salad, roasted and sliced almonds underneath the créme caramel, etc. Delightful.

Thank you Gradska kavana Arsenal Restaurant! You fulfilled my European dream - an incredible meal in a spectacular seaside setting. Tip: Sit on the waterside watch people strolling by and the boats in the harbor. Bonus: The wait staff are friendly and they know how to serve a proper cup of tea. We ate here twicein the same day - coffee and a snack on the city-side terrace before we walked the wall. Then a late lunch after the wall.

Stunning place with amazing views. There are seats at the front of the restaurant overlooking the town. However, I recommend sitting in the terrace around the back. There are a lot of seats there overlooking the water which is breathtaking! The food is just as beautiful as the view. We went there everyday for lunch during our visit to Croatia and ended up having a couple of dishes twice just because they were so tasty. I recommend the Sailor Style risotto and Bourbon Beef gnocchi. Delicious 🙌🏻

Found this place on Google Reviews—ask to sit on the sea side facing the water! We got breakfast, I ordered a Mediterranean croissant and an additional bread basket (so that I didn't have to share the one my mom got with her omelette). My dad got the eggs benedict, it's not exactly the same as a typical American eggs benedict, but he liked it. I had a bellini and a virgin pina colada—would have just ordered the second drink if I saw the full drinks menu (not just the breakfast menu) first. The bellini was very strong! Very great value for the price considering the incredible location, linen tablecloths, and stylish decor. We would come again!

The best restaurant in Dubrovnik by far, reasonably priced, fresh seafood with great service. Loved the view from the restaurant, ask for the sea view if you go. I went 4 times in the span of two days. I recommend the octopus salad😊

Ate here 3 nights , would highly recommend it . Food was excellent , good portion size and varied menu. Staff were courteous, friendly and attentive, reasonably priced in comparison to other places in area . The ribs were so succulent and the meat just fell off the bone 👍 the chips were light fluffy and crisp , perfect ! 🙂

Served by Peter in this lovely restaurant. He was a credit to the place. Very polite and accomodating service. The food was exceptionally cooked and absolutely beautiful. I had the crispy bacon burger and I cannot say enough about how nice it was, I would have went for a second it was so nice. Definitely recommend this place for anyone travelling in the area.

A fast food restaurant that wants to pass as a normal restaurant, 33 euro for what you see in the pictures is too much - maybe you'll say that it's expected in Dubrovnik - it shouldn't! The food was mediocre, nothing impressive or extremely good, Wouldn't recommend this place, or I would if your taste is as mediocre as their food is 🙏🏻

Restaurant is on main route to Lapad beach and has big open space. Fans were blowing and giving some fresh air, so it was pleasant to sit and eat. Waiters were polite and quick. My wife and I ate Burgers and they were delicious. Fresh Fries, Mayo and Ketchup are included. You even get a wet lemon scent tissue to clean up your hands. Prices are moderate (burgers from 15-18€). What I do not get is why the domestic draft beer is 9€, this is insane!!! Overall recommend.

Good food but nothing extraordinary, no surprise being a fast food. I find prices to be a bit high, even to Dubrovnik standards. Especially because we are talking about fast food restaurants. On the brighter side, service is fast and friendly. It looks very clean. Not a bad choice for a quick meal.

The food itself was OK, but I did not enjoy tuttobene myself. There were a few people in, and they seemed to be enjoying them selves. The main drawback for me was the speed of the service, I was expecting it to be quicker.

Attractive forefront love the little red people figures welcoming you into the space; what a privilege to share a detailed a patient chat with the manager about menu choices being that were from VA and having a difficult time with food choices. Once seated and the ambience set by the warm hand touch to the table lamp we were graced with the presence of our KNOWLEDGEABLE and PROFESSIONAL server Emrah! He truly knew how to walk us through our food choices. And not to mention he never turned his back on us when departing our table (smooth back away). We enjoyed and appreciate the LAPAD tuttobene team! And the bartender, all in point!

The staff was friendly, and although the prices are high they informed us about special student discounts on Mondays and Tuesdays. I decided to try the veggie burger, which is pictured in the photo, and it cost 15.50€. While I enjoyed the potatoes, I was not impressed with the burger itself. The vegetarian "steak" they advertised turned out to be quite mushy and lacked the expected texture. My friend, however, had a different opinion and enjoyed it. A positive note is that they provided complimentary tap water, which was a nice touch and for free. Our group consisted of around 13 people, and most of them opted for the pizza, which seemed to satisfy their cravings. Despite my disappointment with the veggie burger, I might consider returning to give their pizza a try.

Great for a relatively “budget” Meal in a very touristy and expensive area of Dubrovnik. I had the Ribs and my mother had the Vegetarian tortilla, both were reasonable but as you would expect anywhere, however value for money consider the surrounding restaurants, and not lacking in quality. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great, they kind of have a mix between a fast food and family restaurant attitude. Overall a great option if you’re staying in this area as most are directed at tourists and you pay allot at the restaurants nearby, for relatively simple fare.

Very good service and the ribs were excellent, loose meat and juicy. Portions were bigger that we expected, so you get enough food to the price. They serve fries also with the meat and with the wings as well. Spicy chicken wings as a starter was to mild only the sauce helped a little bit to increase the kick. But my level with spicy food is definitely above average also. Only beer prices I hoped would be lower. 9 euros for local 0,5L draft beer was too much.

Good restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options. Prices are on par with others in the location. Beautiful ambience with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

This place is full almost everyday at local supper time. The food is priced reasonable and it is pretty tasty and portion sizes are good. The service is a bit slow, they might take a very long time to come collect the payment. Went here several times and tried different foods and all were tasty.

This is one the nicest burgers I’ve had in a long time. We ate in the restaurant itself, but it does have a takeaway bar separately. The prices seem perfectly reasonable and the quality of the food couldn’t really have been any better. It came served on a nice wooden tray with slots for each food item, including the tomato sauce and mayonnaise that come as standard, plus a toothpick for when you’re done eating. The burger was large and tasty and the chips felt very freshly made too. I do wish there had been slightly more chips, as I have a large appetite, but I suspect the amount wasn’t actually that small by most people’s expectations. The seating area is a pleasant combination of indoor and outdoor, with gigantic glass walls that open to allow a lovely cooling breeze on a hot day. The views outside aren’t exactly brilliant, you can’t see the ocean or a park or anything, but they weren’t horrendous either I suppose. The menus are also printed onto each table four times over so that’s handy. If you are craving a burger then you really should come here. Both me and my girlfriend found them to be extremely enjoyable, and it was reasonably priced at only £45 for 2 beers, 1 cider, a desert (pancakes) and two mains.

One of the best places to eat in Croatia. They do pizzas pasta and kids menu which most places don't. The food was good the service and staff were really nice. They did wraps which meant food on the go.

Wow, what an incredible place. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We were told the fish is caught by the owner himself - which makes it even more special (and tasty!) The night was made by our lovely waitress, Stephanie. She made us feel so welcome and the service was faultless. We loved it so much we booked to come back this week! 5*****

I made the right decision by visiting Bota Sare to try their fresh oysters. The Ston oysters that they serve are of exceptional quality and undoubtedly fresh.

Experiencing Bota is like finding a outstanding pearl. We heard already 2 times from different people that Bota Sare is a must go. So we couldn’t wait to get there. It was a rainy evening in Dubrovnik, and normally we planed to sit outside but we ended up sitting in their cosy and very comfy restaurant. The people of the restaurant were super nice to our dog and welcomed us in a warm and nice way. So want to choose… we picked the backed oysters as a starter. Terrific taste. Exactly how I was imagining them. Crunchy but still oyster 🦪 yummy. Next up we went all tuna, the teriyaki tuna on a sushi rice bed as well as the tuna tartare. To die for. Normally I am not that enthusiastic but this tuna was outstanding! Could lick the plate afterwards, but of course you can’t do that in public ;). So why is that tuna so great. Nicola one of our hosts explained that the owner of Bota is the only one who has the license to fish wild tuna. So what you get here is the best of the best. We rounded up with a crispy sushi roll but asked to avoid the salmon which is coming from Norway and replace it with more tuna. What a fab choice. 😋. And the dessert was sweetness heaven. A chocolate banana cake. Gosh that was magic. So thx a million for this wonderful and very special evening to Stephanie & Nicola our hosts for all the nice infos and lovely service 🖤🙏🏽. PS. The freshly backed rosemary bread I needed to take an extra portion home to extent the experience.

Stephanie took such good care of us she was very friendly and patient! The food was immaculate, I'd only wish the portions were slightly bigger but they were filling nonetheless. The fresh oysters were amazing and the fried oysters were divine, they didn't look like much but the flavours were great with the dip 🥰 all of the sushi was quite fresh and the location is perfect! They gave us a free round of shots for my birthday and even gave a replacement free shot when my friend accidentally spilled hers ❤

Came here during lunch for my birthday. Such a great location, it’s private, and a more intimate space. The sushi was excellent; fresh tasting. 10/10

Beautiful setting, fresh and delicious sushi, and great service. We came on our first night in Dubrovnik for our honeymoon. We were seated in the alleyway, across from the front door, and the breeze was unbelievably perfect with light music in the background. We started with the only sake on the menu, about €9 for a small bottle for ~4 shots worth. Then we ordered a bottle of Croatian white wine for about €33. I started with oysters, which were caught 50km away. Everything they source and serve is caught within 50km. The oysters were good, although I added a touch of soy sauce to bring out more flavour. Next we had the sashimi platter for €44 of 4 salmon, 4 tuna, and 4 of a white fish (I think). The salmon was absolutely incredible, the best we’ve ever had. We ended up ordering another 6 more salmon pieces at the end of our meal because it was so good. Next we ordered three rolls: a fried fantasy roll, the Philly roll, and a tuna roll with avocado and cucumber. Every single one was perfect. Honestly, I’m hungry again writing this review. I would happily go back tomorrow for the salmon sashimi and three rolls.

As for majority of the restaurants in Dubrovnik you’ll need to make a reservation. First we made ours for 20h but had to move it to 20:30 and showed up 5 mins late. We waited several minutes to be seated on our table but the waitress was so kind and apologized. We ordered several kinds of sushi and were incredibly satisfied with taste and quality. As you can tell from the photos, we had quite large selection but since we’re huge lovers of sushi, that hit the sweet spot for us. Overall amazing experience.

The food was fantastic. You require about 3-4 plates of sushis to be full. But they tasted delicious. All ingredients were fresh. Recommendation from the lovely waiter (Maria) was on point and matched our taste preferences exactly. The service was swift and friendly. P.S. We went there again during our stay.

LOVED this cute sushi restaurant nestled close to the port. Prices were reasonable, considering they are located in a major tourist area. The oysters were fresh from their oyster farm. The sushi rolls were tasty as well as the carpaccio. Our server Maria was so lovely and made sure we were having a great dining experience. Would highly recommend coming here if you want sushi in the heart of Old Town!

Perfect sushi night in this restaurant! The waitress was really friendly, we even got a cherry liquor on the house. The sushi quality was incredible (explains the higher price range). We would come back again!

We were lucky to get squeezed in for reservations so make sure you book in advance! Ordered three different rolls (spicy tuna, rainbow and salmon skill) along with a salad- everything tasted really fresh. Service was prompt and staff were really friendly and attentive.

I was not expecting good sushi in Dubrovnik however it was better then I expected. I have to admit if I gave it 4 stars because of expectations. If same restaurant in Asia will be a solid 3 stars instead of 4. Beef teriyaki meat was cooked perfectly to my request of medium rare. Very nice! However it was a shame that it was too heavily sauced, even though tasty, but a little too much. I recommend ordering it but ask server for less sauce. Fantasy roll was new to me, pretty good that we ordered another one. Rainbow roll and oyster roll was average.

Just arrived here, Dubrovnik this morning. I love fresh oysters so the first question to the local was where to find good quality oysters in Dubrovnik! And now I'm here. Nice and mouthful good quality oysters and also Anna, the best person I met here made my first day so perfect! 🥰 It's worth to get to the top? through many staircase 🤣 I strongly recommend this nice restaurant.

Amazing location and delicious food. All of the sushi is extremely fresh and tasty. But even their teriyaki is so good. I highly recommend the strawberry cocktail they have. A must try when visiting Dubrovnik!

First time we tried sushi in Croatia so our comparisons are only to the US. Sashimi was excellent. The ceviche had potential but was swimming in olive oil and it drowned out the acidity of the citrus which made the dish heavy instead of bright. The rolls, spicy tuna and tempura were just ‘ok’. The service was excellent and the setting is just far enough off the main path to provide a more quiet setting.

We ate here 2 times in 5 days. Amazing! The freshest sushi we have ever had and the oysters were to die for! They have an oyster farm they get them from daily. Also the darkest, most delicious tuna. Both are a must order!

Our experience at Bota was wonderful the sushi is fresh and the service is fast and friendly. Our waiter Drazan was superb and even recommended us to try his favorite sushi roll. For those who may not be as keen on sushi you’ve got chicken and teriyaki steak on the menu as well. I gave this place 5 stars and I will definitely be coming back with friends to grab some tiger rolls again!!!

Service and food taste were excellent. Portions were kinda small. Prices were high, as expected in this touristy area. A good experience overall!
