KEY Museum

Museum
Specialty Museums
The KEY Museum in Torbali Izmir is a notable collection of restored vintage cars and motorcycles, along with other automotive artifacts. Though privately owned and requiring admission fees, the museum offers an extensive indoor exhibit featuring historical vehicles ranging from vintage to modern eras. Visitors can admire a batmobile and enjoy snacks at the on-site cafe. However, due to its large size, it would be preferable if attendees could move more freely around the cars without being confined mostly to wall placement areas.
We went by public transportation so after taking bus it was hard to reach by walking because it located far from road and in between industries with scary dogs. So the trip was bad but it was worth it. Everything was classy and clean. They said minibus goes every hour but we didn’t see any. So after izban or bus recommend taking taxi.

We love car museums, visit them everywhere we travel and I can say that this is one of the best. All items are in perfect condition, shiny as new. The variety is superb! There are 120 year old items, rare cars and old supercars. It you are near Izmir and looking for interesting places, this is the one.

This is a wonderful collection of cars and motorcycles. everything is in perfect condition.
Nadin — Google review
Its a must visit museum if you are a cat lover, the collection focuses on American, European cars and motorcycles, from the late 1800 to some unique 2020s cars. Verities of scaled car models collections. Every thing is well presented, the decorations and atmosphere including the coffee shop of a high luxurious taste I’m an admirer of the owner taste in the museum and hotel God bless him.
Safaa A — Google review
The entrance fee is quite low, so definitely worth the visit. Even more impressive than the car collection is the model cars one. It is huge!! I am glad we took the trip to this museum.
Razvan Bogasiu — Google review
One of the best car exposition I had ever seen. All are new cars, models from 1 century ago but really new. You need to go, thanks yuyu.
Jean Paul Mendez Kerguelen — Google review
This is a private car collection located in Torbalı İzmir. You have to pay to enter. At the time it was 45 lira. It is a huge indoor place with a great historical collection. I wish you can walk around the cars more freely. Currently most of the cars are placed against the wall and you can't walk behind the cars and you cannot see the interior of the car or the dashboard :(
Utkan Celik — Google review
A great experience especially if you love car and motorbikes from vintage to modern. There is even a batmobile there. There is a small café located within the museum. 23 of us went and paid 25tl each as we received discount as we booked as a group.

KEY Museum (Key Otomobil Müzesi), established in 2015, is the largest automobile museum in Turkey. It is located at Torbalı, near İzmir. Traveling by car, it is a 10mn drive out of the Torbalı exit of İzmir-Aydın express way. Another means is by train from İzmir. The museum is housed inside a single story large building, probably built for this purpose. The collection is mainly composed of American, British and German cars of the period 1930-1960. Add to this some exceptional Ferrari's and Alfa Romeo's. My favorites are a Porche 1957 and a Kaiser-Darrin 1957. Vintage Rolls-Royce cars are another pieces of this wonderful museum. The Custom Cadillac is another wonder. There is another section of the museum, as interesting as the first part, and it is the model cars collection. An unbelievable number of model cars representing the whole gamut of automotive industry, sedans, sports, racing are displayed behind glass panels. At least 2 hours are needed for this visit. There is a small tea-coffee area and a museum shop. Unfortunately the shop is missing the museum catalog, I hope this will be corrected in the near future. All automobile enthusiasts must visit this museum.

Arkas Art Center is a beautiful art gallery with different galleries on two floors. The Lucien Arkas Collection includes works by Pablo Picasso, which is worth visiting until January 5 2020.
Quite a small exhibition area but a very pleasant and lovely location.

I like that the museum only has two floors so it’s not too overwhelming. You can see everything in two hours. The building is beautiful and I liked the selection and mix of artwork displayed. It was interesting to see art works from ottoman era.

A gem of an art museum with an impressive selection of paintings. A must visit during a trip to Izmir.

Petite gallery that holds a good amount of high quality works. Greatly enjoyed my experience. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Free to enter.

Arkas Sanat Merkezi is an art gallery opened in November 2011 and owned by the industrialist Lucien Arkas. Several exhibitions have been held in this gallery since then. The present collection of works by Pablo Picasso is worth visiting, unfortunately until January 5 2020.

Nice art gallery. Not a big one but some of the pieces will definitely catch your eye. Should definitely pay a visit, it's free entrance as well. Would recommend.
Parham Pourahmad — Google review
This gallery definitely has potential. With a good art curatorship, it might become much more appealing. Unfortunately, for now bad lighting ruins viewers’ impression of paintings.
Ilya Bricheev — Google review
Not a huge place but big enough to host an impressive exhibition. Free entry, safe boxes to put your stuff in the entrance and a nice staff too.
Esi Ay — Google review
There is an art and photo gallery of “Ara Guler” who is super famous turkish photographer in the world! You can visit until June 2020 and there is no charging! You can also take audio supporting, just ask to help desk at the entrance of the building when you pass the security. Building is not really good for following to steps of gallery. That was the problem for walking with huge crowded at the weekend. But maybe you can prefer to go in weekdays. Tuesday is open until 8pm.
Zehra O. — Google review
A very interesting place, with parquet floors and wooden stairs that permeate the air of the museum with a pleasant smell. As a person who came from St Petersburg, I really missed this. The exhibitions do not change often, 3-4 times a year, and some are very specific, but the place is very pleasant and there is a free entry.

The Izmir Wildlife Park is a large zoo that features animals from African, Asian, European and American regions. It has different areas for kids to play and dining options are also available. Although there may be varying opinions about zoos and wildlife parks in general, this park stands out due to its spacious environment where the animals can roam freely in their own designated areas. There is an extensive variety of animals with informative boards and helpful staff provided for visitors.
Simply fantastic for children and adults alike. Perfect size. It has all the animals and birds and reptiles you can imagine in perfect settings. Have visited the place many times over the years. A big thanks to all the staff for their hardworking in maintaining this excellent zoo

Green place, large area. Animals are kept in good conditions, look good, clean. It's very pleasant to walk. There is an air base nearby. It’s bad that helicopters and planes fly over animals, it can be noisy. Large, free parking nearby. Instead of a ticket, they give a token, it's environmentally friendly. Also, you can pay for the entrance Izmircard. Plan to spend about three hours or more here.

A great place to spend time with your family. Lots of playgrounds for kids and several cafes inside. Animals are well taken care of, no need to worry about it. The price of entrance is 10 TL, which is 60 cents a The only problem is the transport. It would be best to have your own car. On our way back we took the bus at the closing hour and it was full. In overall I recommend it to everyone visiting İzmir, you will enjoy it for sure!
Vugar Ali — Google review
A very nice place to spend time with family. Nice little zoo with quite big yards for their comfort and not too crowded. Green pathways with many benches to seat, Cafes, toilets and playgrounds at each part of the park. I definitely recommend visiting.

I have mixed views about zoos and wildlife parks but if you're going to have them they should all be like this one. Spacious with animals free to roam in their own areas. A massive amount to see, very detailed information boards and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking, a small café and very cheap entrance fee. About an hour north of Izmir

Absolutely amazing zoo! Huge space, good infrastructure, easy way to reach by bus. Reserve 3..4 h to discover it, try to choose not a very hot days. For sure have to visit, even not once!

Great place to with kids. The entrance fee is symbolic 10 trl per person. Entrance fee for babies is free. The animal shelters are big and well kept. Yhere are toilets, cafes, food, ice cream - everything needed to spent a day in it. I recommend to go early in the weekends as it gets extremely crowded in the noon. Parking lot is big and free, but no place to park in the noon.

I don't know why, but before visiting here I didn't have high hopes for it. It completely shocked me. One of the best wildlife parks/zoos I've ever been to. Stunning surroundings with natural nature and green trees. The animals were all well looked after and had plenty of space as thought they were in their natural habitats. Very well kept and clean. Plenty of toilets situated around the park. 2 cafes to stop for a drink or bite to eat. Would definitely come back again and would recommend to all ages. We had an amazing day out here. 10/10 Adults 20 lira children 10 lira

Well organized zoo has a lot of animals in a quite great area a lot of facilities to spend a good day with your family WC in everywhere there is a coffee and restaurant with a reasonable prices tickets also very cheap..

We have come here several times and it has beautiful landscaping, enough shaded areas in the summer to make walking enjoyable and the ice cream at the cafe is really good. The entrance fee is inexpensive and you can pay with your public transportation card. There are plenty of restrooms around the park. I am thankful for this nice natural area so close to the city and accessible by public transportation. Bus number 777 from near the Karşıyaka ferry station takes you directly to the zoo. The animals seem sad, hot and tired in the summer and as mentioned in many posts, the mosquitos ate my son alive. I would recommend going in any season but summer.
Brittney Bragg — Google review
Nice place to visit if you like zoos. It’s clean. Entrance is cheap, less than €1 at the time for adults. Small children can enter free of charge. Lots of animals. There is a friendly atmosphere . Our kids had a great day

soooo great! very cheap entrance, but the zoo is HUGE and very beautiful! all animals are great, we had a great time! we spent almost the whole day here. it’s really a shame that this place is rarely mentioned in the tourist guides and there are really a few visitors.
Anastasiia Andreeva — Google review
It's fine. It does not stand out from other zoos I have seen. Some very beautiful colourful birds though. The pure white peacocks were quite beautiful too. Was excited to see hyena's but they weren't there at the time. Overall mediocre zoo. The enclosures seem small for most of the animals. Some of the goats were very cool.
Ceiling Fan Enthusiast — Google review
I think it’s a good place for children and families to spend time together, but when it’s not so hot outside. Because animals are so lazy and sleepy, it’s just hard to find them and see them moving. Also it’s hard to walk for a long time under the sun. So I can recommend to visit park in spring, autumn or winter. The price is 20₺ Also it is really hard to get back from the park, because there are no taxi stations, and bus comes not by the schedule and can just close the doors in front of you😡
Polina Kochina — Google review
Great place for a walk! Lots of different animals! The park is well maintained, clean, there are plenty of trash cans, the toilets are clean, there are many benches, several excellent playgrounds, and there is a place to eat. Definitely recommend!
Natasha Natasha — Google review
Plenty of animals, including some of the big five, can all be seen at this zoo. It's probably the cheapest zoo I've ever visited, too - 70p, at the time of writing. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Izmir and have some spare time
MJ — Google review
Excellent place to spend a weekend. Especially great for kids where you will find animals not in cages but roaming freely. Facility is well kept and clean. Entrance fee is about average. You need good weather to visit to make it enjoyable.

BEST food I've had eating out in over 2 years! I eat out nearly every night and travel to over a dozen countries a year, so this is saying something. We started with the tapas. The patatas bravas were excellent. The meatballs were perfect. The deer sausage and quail egg mix was mouth watering. It had the perfect complexity of flavors. Not too much, not too little. Just right. The beans were an added positive. Then we got the 7 day slow cooked veal cheeks with potatoes that had rosemary, sundried tomatoes and the perfect seasoning. The meat was topped with crispy onions. This had a side of dijon mustard. I can't think of a better entree. My wife and I were almost falling over from the taste of the food. Mixing the potatoes, meat and mustard together was incredible. I mean it when I say this is the best thing I've had in over 2 years. The chefs are extremely talented. I met the owner who is from Spain and was excited to talk to him with my basic Spanish. Everyone working at the restaurant was very polite and very helpful. I would fly from the other side of the world to Bodrum just to eat here again! Don't miss out on this place!

If you're looking for a delicious tapas experience in Bodrum, look no further than La Pasion Restaurante. The service is excellent and the food is top-notch. However, be prepared to pay a bit more for your meal here. It's definitely worth it, though!

Great service, very attentive and kind. All staff was polite and took the time to help us with the mobile menu. We ordered the bone marrow, shrimp, octopus and rice. This bone marrow was extremely juicy and tasty. The shrimp order served 2 large shrimp which were so good. The other dish was good as well. This restaurant is tucked away on a beautiful street. 10/10 would recommend Pro tip- try the sangria

This place was a great find! It is absolutely so cute. The ambience is amazing! They used to win travel awards every year. Hopefully, they can get back up there! The service was outstanding! Very attentive, and good with suggestions! The watermelon, mozzarella salad was different, interesting, and I loved it! We also had the sea scallops with black noodle, so Yum! And for dessert, we had the crème brûlée, so delicious! They have a good wine cellar as well and many choices! But I highly recommend getting the sangria! When in Bodrum, definitely stop here!

Lovely ambience.. However just average food and pricey compared to other restaurants in Bodrum. Paella was not that flavourful and just tasted very fishy !

We know this Restaurant already a long time and spent many times there. Yesterday we had something to celebrate and were pleasantly surprised by some extra's from the chef. Super nice and the food, as usual, very well done. All in all a place to go to for sure. Recommended!

The atmosphere is wonderful, with excellent service and yummy cocktails! I would highly recommend the seafood pasta and burrata salad! The best seafood pasta I have had! The tapas menu was also excellent!

Been to this place twice and have loved both times. The second time we sat indoors with the woodfire on and the atmosphere is cosy and beautiful. Food is excellent everytime, stick with what is in season. The wine selection is broad with international and local wines. Canapés and homemade dips adds a positive touch to the experience and the waiters are exceptional. We had the seafood spagetti (the chef accommodates very well to food allergies), slow cooked lamb, octopus, seasonal mushrooms, calamari.

We went to La Pasion on Christmas Day and we weren’t expecting such lovely food and service. We had a few starters to share and as a main fillet steak and lamb shank. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff was very attentive filling up our wine glasses and water. There was a lovely atmosphere, very romantic and Christmassy. We recently had the pleasure of visiting Şirincem Restaurant & Cafe. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the breathtaking view and the stunning interior design. It is, without a doubt, the most cozy and atmospheric place in Sirince. One person who deserves special mention is the manager, Sasha. He ensured that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. The view from the restaurant is simply amazing. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, it creates a serene and tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing meal or a cup of Turkish tea or coffee. The interior design is equally impressive, with a harmonious blend of traditional Sirince elements that add to the overall charm of the place. Whether you're looking for a special breakfast or romantic dinner, or simply a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Sirince, this place is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in this charming village. Thank you, Sasha, and the entire team at Şirincem Restaurant & Cafe, for creating such a wonderful establishment. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Need to tell a short story to explain. Would give zero star if I could. We stayed in Sirincem 2 nights at this restaurant and their accompanying hotel. For 2 days we had a great time with the food, wine and hospitality. The owner took a particular interest in us. We don't know why. Every meal he would come and sit, drink, talk and laugh with us. It was a great experience. On the final night he wanted a group photo with us and his staff. After, my fiancee told me during the photo he was squeezing her bottom for a long time. She was frightened to make a scene in a foreign country in a small town. She was very upset. So it went from being an amazing experience to disgraceful. He made good money off us and his hospitality was a lie. Stay away on principle.
Ashley Flower — Google review
The room was 'köylü style', a bit rustic, but perfectly fitting what we were expecting from Sirince. The terrace/restaurant is a very nice, well decorated place. The breakfast was OK. The staff was helpful, and the 'kids' serving food were obviously dedicated to their job. Overall a good experience!

Mozaiik Bahçe is a popular Turkish restaurant in Fethiye that serves large portions of food. From vegetarian options to dishes with stew and kebabs, there's something for everyone at this restaurant. The pitta bread is also delicious and melts in your mouth.
Good restaurant with nice decor and friendly staff. There are a few vegan options on here. I saw other vegans get the vegetable kebab and had to get the same. It's a big plate with lots of food and flavor. I came back the next day and got a vegan kofte and lentil soup. Both were good but kofte could have used a sauce since i cant eat the yogurt. Cheers up to homemade ginger ale.

Great service and relaxed cozy atmosphere, definitely worth a visit if you want a nice high-quality tourist meal experience. They bring the mains out with a gas stove to keep it piping hot. Would highly recommend the kunefe as a dessert! They have a good selection of beers and wines. We came around 6-7pm and found a seat easily, but it started to get quite busy closer to 8ish. Starters are around ₺100-200, meat mains are around ₺350-700. They have vegetarian options, and also have a kids' food menu including stuff like chicken nuggets with chips. Expect to spend ₺1000-1500 (£30-40ish) for two as of August 2023.

Wow this place in terms of food quality and taste as well as dining environment definitely exceeded our expectations. We both thought it's the best dinner/restaurant experience we've had during our two week trip. Everything was bursting with refined flavours and nicely seasoned. We weren't super hungry so didn't get the mezze platter which I had planned on getting. But the thyme olive salad and lentil soup were delectable especially the salad super refreshing and flavoured. For the main we got the vegetable shish kebab (highly recommend!!) and the Hatay kebab. Both were excellent but the vegetarian options had such depth of flavours! For drinks the mulberry juice was lovely, made from mulberry molasses and tonic water (no refined sugar). The service was super friendly and efficient.

Went here whilst holidaying in sunny Turkey. Can't recommend this place enough. The food was excellent, service top class and really nice chilled atmosphere. If you're ever in Fethiye, definitely visit this place.

The best shish meal I’ve had, a must go to in Fethiye! The atmosphere/decor is lovely and chilled, and the staff were amazing. They offered us homemade chilli and mustard sauce that was also amazing! Great value, very close to the marina - cannot recommend enough!

Always come at least once every time we are in Gumbet. Highly recommend! Staff go above and beyond. Food is amazing. Beautiful views and a separate smoking area, which is lovely. Restaurant is decorated beautifully. Will always recommend and will always return 👌 They also offer a service to pay for your taxi when you arrive. Thanks Annalivia for another amazing dinner ❤️ and for helping us celebrate our friends birthday 🎂

Outstanding. The service was impeccable with warm and welcoming staff. The ambience was great. The steak was perfect, flavoured and cooked to perfection. The pricing was appropriate. People come back here years after a visit and I can see why. No complaints. If any comment, I would say ask for the food and drink menu at the same time and if you get that delicious baked lemon cheesecake, switch the ice cream from lemon to vanilla as lemon on lemon can be a bit overwhelming.

Me and my husband dined there last night and had the best lasagne we had ever tasted! Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and a great view of Gumbet. Very quick service and the staff were lovely. Compliments to the chef. We will be back!!!

This "tucked away" restaurant is faultless in our opinion. Indeed I would go so far as to say that this was the best family meal we have ever had. It's a class act and thoroughly deserves its very high rating yet it's not expensive for what we had. We also liked that it's non smoking apart from the roof top terrace which seems to be unique given our experiences elsewhere. The only problem is that it is busy and getting a seat could be problematic.

Best food we have had in Turkey no question. Welcome was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough to help. As for the food it was amazing so good that we have booked again for tonight definitely 5*

We've only been here 4 days and have eaten here twice 😍 food is superb, service excellent and fantastic views over the bay. Spotlessly clean and to top it all very reasonable prices. The restaurant also provides a free taxi service 🙂

This has some of the best views for where we had our last dinner before flying back home. As will.see from the pictures it was yum. The service was outstanding, not one bad word. Both meals with drinks came to just over £38.

100% amazing place. Everything here was amazing, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and the entertainment. Highly recommend. We went back to experience their full English after an amazing evening there. I can't fault it. I want to go back there ASAP. Thank you guys for making our holiday even more amazing!

Forgot starters, t-bone main while very large on a small plate, it came well done when I asked for med-rare. Now the food prices in restaurants in turkey have gone up over the past couple of years you expect better standards.

This was the absolute best! The staff were incredible, attentive and entertaining too. The food was the best we've had 💯👌 Everything was on point! The drinks were high ball glasses too. I would definitely stop here if you get the chance. Easy to find, too.

So this might sound scathing, but let me ask a question. Would you walk into a crowded nightclub and order a meal? If so this is for you. Overly loud and tacky. They offer steaks on the menu, but I would give them a wide berth. They barely pass what I would call 'steak'. They practice quantity over quality. Need to say more?! Also whilst I have my claws out, how many times do you think it takes to get a sharp steak knife? The answer is 4. Yes I kid you not, 3 replacements. To be honest if it wasn't for the cost I would have given up on the meal completely. Do NOT believe trip advisor, it is all lies! Very disappointing overpriced meal. Will never ever be returning.

It's just the best restaurant in Marmaris! The food is excellent, and the staff could not be more friendly or welcoming. And if you want a great Sunday dinner, you couldn't choose a better place - the lamb is superb! If you're staying in Siteler, you'd be mad not to visit!!

No1 Restaurant in Marmaris by miles.. Food is absolutely amazing, Staff are amazing, friendly and go out of their way to help you. Entertainment is brilliant. They also offer pick up, and drop off. Which we used quite a bit. We also used transfers for picking up from the Airport and back again. Yet again amazing. 1000% recommended Sweet Corner.

Located on the corner facing Bluebay Platinum hotel. Though it may not look fancy from the outside, this restaurant offers a wide variety of meals that are of large portions, yummy tastes and affordable prices. The staff are all welcoming and smiley. The favorite platters off the menu are chicken kiev and the mushroom steak. Definitely worth a try.
