A big shout out to our wake boarding trainers Jen and Ruby, who explained and guided us throughout and made this a memorable experience. For sure we are going to visit this place again. A must recommend!

We loved it. Very nice park. We went to the intermediate level, my boys who are 9 and 10yo and do snowboarding had no difficulties and had a lot of fun! Our instructor Noah was awesome and gave us lots of good tips! They also enjoyed the water park afterwards!

Seemed like a nice place. We dropped by to photograph the windmill. Admission was free. There are two tow runs for wakeboarding, one novice and one advanced.

Fun filled adventure for the family. Took my two kids 5 and 7. Aqua park and peddle both a hour time slot and it was quite fun, sunny and beautiful weather. Nobody got hurt and everyone had fun. Unfortunately the windmill is not something you can go in and see, they have a board explaining its history. But would definitely recommend going.

Restaurant
Located in Goderich, ON, Beach Street Station is a charming restaurant situated in a historic train station. The eatery offers a unique dining experience with its vintage ambiance and menu that gives classic dishes a modern twist, including their popular brunch options. Originally built in 1907 as part of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the station was relocated to its current location by Lake Huron and underwent restoration to become a beloved family-friendly restaurant and wedding venue.
Fantastic restaurant! My girlfriend and I had a scrumptious meal on the patio last week. They were pretty busy, but the wait time wasn’t outrageous, you could tell they were being as efficient as possible. We didn’t need to wait long for our food. And the food… one of the best chicken sandwiches and burgers we have ever had! The burger was juicy and the fries were crisp and salted right. Our server asked us several times how the meal was. And the location of this place is just perfect with the lake right there in front of the patio. I highly recommend the Beach Street Station!
Curtis Cressman — Google review
It was sooooo tasty! We got the fusion bowl and power bowl and added to them grilled chicken and falafel. Every bite was full of flavor, fresh, the right amount and not pricey. Good services, different payment options. Plenty of table and sits. And definitely options for vegetarians and vegans.
Ana Ayala (Anita La Colombiana) — Google review
Super friendly staff, great location and dining area (inside and outside on patio), and tasty food and fair portion size. The house special soup, seafood linguine, and salmon entree were all excellent and tasty. Their house beer is also refreshing.
Allan C. — Google review
This is a wonderful restaurant on the harbour in Goderich. Our food was awesome. We had the hamburger and the fusion bowl. View of the harbour was great. Our server Sara(h)? Was awesome. She was very engaging and was quite attentive. Must say though that the person that seated us was somewhat aloof and indifferent. But that won't stop us from returning.
Henry Flattery — Google review
I came here this summer with my family. It was pretty busy, but that's normal for any other restaurant on the beach. I ordered the seafood pasta linguine, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very friendly. We sat on the patio and had a gorgeous view of the sun set. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner if you're in the area.
Olivia Marissa — Google review
We stopped by for a quick drink and appetizers on a Sunday night. Great views of the sunset and the food and drinks were delicious. The servers did an excellent job serving as it was bustling when we arrived. Will be back!
Jeff Katerberg — Google review
This was our 3rd visit to this restaurant and it was as great as our first two. Beautiful location in a very historic building. Friendly service. Delicious food.
Lori Eisenberger — Google review
ATMOSPHERE is amazing (we finished our meal on the patio as the sun began to set over Lake Huron) SERVICE WAS TRULY EXCELLENT! Thank you (dark haired) Hailey! THE FOOD could have been better - with ONE exception! Haddock and Chips = EXCEPTIONAL & probably BEST CHOICE ON THE MENU (or one of!); Seafood Linguine = Nice (good presentation but a wee bit bland) Baby Back Ribs = Dried out with hardly any sauce (sent them back) This is a good restaurant, but choose from the menu carefully!
Craig “CraigsRealReviews” St — Google review
A restaurant with great food and perfect location for customers to witness the best sunsets in Ontario. Ordered the perch tacos and got to try some pulled pork tacos. Would say that the texture on the beer-battered perch was amazing, but I could see the flavour being felt as bland for some people. On the other hand, the pulled porks had great flavour, but not the greatest texture. Portion sizes were great and didn't feel unfairly priced. Service was good and overall, I would consider visiting again.
Leo Yoon (Albatro) — Google review
We ordered a panini and a salad as well as drinks. They had a cocktail with Empress which is my favourite gin. The salad was alright and we really enjoyed the panini. The atmosphere was great and service was very friendly.
Parya Jafari — Google review
Nice location, lovely view, great atmosphere. I was delighted to see local fish on the menu and found their preparation delicious. Flavorful and tasty pickerel. I wasn't crazy about the rice but I still ate it all. I would have liked a little more to eat but the service lacked which kept this from being a five star review.
Terry Groves — Google review
Service was good, portions were fair, but on the smaller side, quality of food was amazing. Had the fish and chips 4pc perch, and it was great. Fish was seasoned and battered beautifully, chips were solid, came with gravy and tartar sauce, both were respectable. On top of great food, it's conveniently located close to the main beach.
Vilopus — Google review
Food was basic. We didn't really like it. The view was amazing, although this time of the year there is a wasp issue, we didn't mind. It was really popular due to its location. Not planning to return. Nothing really to recommend.

With its warm and inviting ambiance, this eatery offers a range of delectable seafood choices that will leave you satisfied. Indulge in their renowned fish and chips served with either a crispy batter or bread crumbs while immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of the harbor.
Old time fish and chips Fish was excellent fries were good but a bit on the greasy side
Cindy Edwards Whelan — Google review
The food is so good here. I really enjoy the options to season my fish and chips the way that I like. so many flavour combos Chicken salt and Curry salt. Double Dill and Black vinegar is great too. Simple straight forward. This is a must have when in Goderich.
Jonah Melville — Google review
Great fish and chips! We took the recommendation to try the many options available for one order we did Coconut vinegar and Lemon Pepper. Then, Mango vinegar and Sour Cream Onion Chicken and or last order was plain and boring (white salt and white vinegar). Ps. The fries are amazing!
Christine Horn — Google review
This little place was amazing, some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, excellent beer too! They make their own malts, and vinegars, delicious. Great service, perfect day to sit outside on Lake Huron in Goderich, Ontario! Highly recommend a visit!
AM Check — Google review
Absolutely fantastic! As so many others have said in their own ways, the fish and chips, the variety of vinegars, (I wonder however if the salt is local!!!) the atmosphere, the opportunity to dine in, to dine out, to takeaway or take a walk through the area while clutching a piping hot bundle of fish and chips on a brisk, early winter's day - take your pick - makes this hidden gem well worth going out of your way to find and make a stop which, you definitely won't forget. It is also fantastically located within easy walking distance (2 minutes) from the Menetesung Bridge area and associated trail(s) network.
David — Google review
Great fish and chips. Very friendly staff. On the waterfront. Nice scenic view of the Goderich salt mine. Lots of free parking available. Plenty of tables and benches with umbrellas for outdoor dining. There is also a large variety of salts and vinegars to choose from to season your meal. Nice crispy fries. Highly recommend that you visit this gem, if you are looking for a tasty meal.
Mal Kawa — Google review
Caution! if you plan on eating here bring your own condiments since they feel the need to charge you 50cents for one tiny packet of tartar sauce and 25cents for a small ketchup packet. honestly the food was already expensive enough you’d expect a little tartar sauce to come with fish and chips. never in my life would I ever think a restaurant known for fish would charge you extra for sauce.
Joseph Lariviere — Google review
This place charges for absolutely everything! A little packet of tartar sauce, 55 cents, ketchup packets are also an extra cost. Want salt and vinegar on your food...they do it, not you. Want to pay by credit card well that will be a 2.9% surcharge. The food is expensive and so, so greasy. The chips are cooked in the same fryer basket as the fish! I know this because my chips were full of crusty batter pieces. If people think this is the best fish and chips they ever had then you really need to get out more. No restrooms but there is a Porta loo! Good grief....once was enough for us. Only went because we were with friends and they wanted to try it.
Rona Rempel — Google review
Authentic harbor atmosphere. Excellent fish and chips. Do know that they charge for ketchup and tartar sauce... this added about $10 to our bill for 3 people. 😬 But excellent food for sure.
Patricia Vehof-Visser — Google review
Delicious fish and chips! Next time we will bring our own ketchup though. They charge extra for every tiny packet. Also charge for tartar sauce.
Stacia Burns — Google review
Only issues I have is why charge for individual packages of ketchup, plus could have had more fries, seemed a little light on those
Adrian Jones — Google review
So so good! We went there two days in a row! One of the best fish and chips I've ever had!
Mac Mehta — Google review
The quintessential fish & chips shack. The menu: fish, chips, fish & chips, with a variety of salts and vinegars. It's possible I've had better fish & chips, but I doubt it.
Tim Slager — Google review
Possibly the finest fish and chips in Southern Ontario I reckon. Served proper in paper. Extensive selection of salts and vinegars if you want to go rogue. Local beers too! Always busy, but they serve as fast as they can.
Traveling McWilbury — Google review
This was an amazing find for a road trip lunch. They pretty much sell only fish and chips but they are good at it. Surprising they offered true gluten free fries. Absolutely amazing. Lots of parking and flavoured salt!! #gf #glutenfree #localguides

I love this place! I stop here on the way home from my trip to Kincardine every year as I have to pass through Goderich. Its good top quality food and great atmosphere and Price. My Kids like looking at all the boats while they eat their supper.
Melbin Laden — Google review
Drove an hour and a half for disappointing experience. The fish and chips were fried in old oil. Everything was served dark brown color. The server was pleasant and honest. It clearly was a non- caring owner. I was happy to pay $54 for 4 peices of fisn and fries and so excited to go enjoy the food. But for goodness sakes change the oil so you can serve golden fried fish n chips like you used to serve!!!

Located in a charming house adorned with rustic furnishings and a lovely outdoor patio, F.I.N.E. a Restaurant serves sophisticated regional and European cuisine. Since its opening in August 2005, it has become the preferred destination in Grand Bend, attracting both locals and tourists alike. With enticing daily specials, reasonable prices, and exceptional food quality, this establishment ensures that every customer enjoys a warm and inviting dining experience. Owned by talented chef Erryn Shephard, F.I.N.E.
If you’re going to Grand Bend only for the beach you’re missing out on the fabulous menu offerings at F.I.N.E. The feature of mussels in white wine sauce with garlic bread was the perfect appetizer. Main plates of pan-fried pickerel and the shrimp scampi pasta were both delicious and worthy of sending clean plates back to the kitchen. The restaurant is small with few tables, so pre-planning in advance with reservations is essential. Well done to the F.I.N.E. team, thank you for a memorable anniversary dinner, we’ll be back!

We visited for dinner last night for the 8:00 p.m. seating. We wanted to try it before the summer mayhem starts. Everything was delicious. We had excellent service. Most of the menu is either gluten free or can be modified and there are even two dessert options that are gluten free. We definitely want to return! Note: Reservations well in advance are required during the busy summer season.

A lovely spot for a nice night out or a date, polished dining, small & well rounded menu. Every dish is a knock out. Great service, elegant, airy & lush outdoor patio. Small cocktail menu, bubbly & wine options.

Excellent food. Attentive and careful service. Cozy atmosphere (tent outside with tinkley lights, white linen tablecloth and napkins etc. Pictured are chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and pistachio gelato chocolate chip cookie sandwich (all house made). Lamb bolognese and a buttermilk fried chicken Buddah bowl and Caesar salad with a homemade parmesan bread stick (instead of croutons). The breadstick was an awesome twist on the traditional crouton or breadstick. It was hot, crispy on the outside and soft/pillowy on the inside. Yum!
Andrea Martin — Google review
It is a very FINE restaurant. Must try when you visit Grand Bend. Food takes time but it is very delicious. Good things come to those who wait they say. Service is not bad. Make sure you book a reservation. Also, their desserts. Not a sweet tooth but the mousse that we got 👍🏻👍🏻
JLT — Google review
Quaint little restaurant located along the main street through town. Good choice of appetizers, mains and deserts. We shared a ceasar salad that was amazing, my wife had the veal scallopine but was more a cutlet, came with gnocchi and tomato sauce, I had the tenderloin special and we finished off with the key lime pie. Great service and overall a great experience, we recommend. Bon appetito #pizzolato #anthonybourdain

Walk in for a rare date night with husband ona reservation. 7 tables open inside alone. We are directed to a little table right by the door. We asked for any other table please, and the hostess went to check in the back. Somehow not at the reservation book up front. Came back and said no - sorry you have to sit here .So there we sat. Food was okay. Appetizer was lukewarm. We got accidentally bumped into by the next three tables that came in and sat elsewhere, an upper room, or out on the patio. Took an hour and 45 minutes while at least 3 of the tables across from us sat empty throughout. Seriously poor marks for inconsiderate service ….
Sarah Hagarty — Google review
August 11th, table of 3 on the patio; light rain was unnoticeable within the canvas. Service. Staff was warm and welcoming. Table next to us was a larger party and required more attention; our server did a great job regardless however it was noticeable. Food. Every bite took on every plate had its ingredients handled with professionalism and expertise. The level of control showcased across the vegetables we ordered was exceptional. The meats were done without flaw as well. The hoisin sauce was a little bit salty for my palette, but those I was dining with didn't share the sentiment.
Michael Husack — Google review
Food was amazing. We were under the tent in a torrential downpour but the service and food well made up for the bad weather. The waitress informed us that there were only 2 bowls of chowder left.......and we took them both! Yummy. Will definitely go back when we are in Grand Bend again.

The restaurant has received positive reviews regarding its service and food quality. Additionally, it provides patrons with a scenic view of the river and golf course.
What a place! The pictures of the food looked great with attention to detail while we researched a place to eat in Goderich. The taste of the food and service was even better! You can tell they love what they do. Every dish from appetizers to mains was delightful! The way the chef blends the ingredients is brilliant and compliment each other so well. It is one of the best tastings of food and service experiences we've had in a while.

A hidden gem!!! No really... this place is hidden...down from the top of the hill near the main drag in Goderich and along a winding little roadway, you drive through an old stone tunnel that opens up to this modest looking little restaurant that is anything but modest when it comes to delicious food, and warm welcoming service. Is the atmosphere modern and high end....no... were we comfortable and had a great view... absolutely... A very cool menu cover opens up to a diverse selection of options to satisfy the whole family with some Eastern/central European favourites that caught my attention....My wife and son went with the seared salmon where I opted for the classic schnitzel....We were all completely satisfied with our meals from the salmon which was buttery, cooked to perfection (that a lot of places screw up) to my extra crispy full of flavour schnitzel on a bed of crispy yet soft spätzle...washed down with a cold Czech Pilsner and a classic gin martini... I was in a very happy place!! But that didn't stop my son from ordering the decadent River fritter... or I think we accidentally called it the River tail... no idea why... but it was delicious!! Looking forward to exploring the menu further on our next visit to Godrich!! Thank you!! Zeke

I love this place so much. It's in an old curling club, the building and tables feel like an old community centre, they're playing trip-hop and the menus and decor are covers and ads from vintage women's magazines. Where am I? I'm not much of a food critic but everything I've had here is delicious.

A friend and I went to River Run to try something new for her birthday overnight in Goderich. She had the chef’s special fish sandwich with Italian wedding soup and I had the spaetzel schnitzel poutine. Both meals were wonderful and so fresh! It was so good we went back for lunch the next day. I brought a spaetzel schnitzel poutine home and it was still incredibly delicious and fresh reheated for supper. The service was friendly and welcoming, efficient and polite. This restaurant is a complete hidden gem and such good value for the money. Fresh, incredibly delicious, homemade and affordable.River Run is a hidden gem that deserves not to be hidden.

If this place is any indication of how incredible the rest of Goderich is, then I have to make it a point to stop here again some time, and not just for dinner. I had the Cosmonaut to drink, the Seared Salmon entree, and my wife got the Sundried Tomato Pesto Linguine with Salmon on top. We split a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was insanely good. It's tucked away next to the golf course, you have to go to the north edge of town and under a stone bridge to get there, don't let the remoteness of it freak you out.

Fabulous little restaurant tucked away next to a golf course. Creative menu with lots of delicious options. The Langosh appetizer was absolutely mouthwatering, and both of us enjoyed our made entrees as well. I don't know what they do to their french fries, but they are incredible. Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill is one of the restaurants in Goderich that continues to provide services during the lockdown. They offer a variety of options such as beer, red wine, and half-price appetizers even after 9 pm on Sundays. It was a pleasant surprise for customers who were looking for food late at night in town. They have delicious low-carb food, particularly their keto-friendly steak bites without sauce.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, supports local hockey, hands on owner. All the things I look for in small businesses. Everything just aligns when I hear this restaurant calling my name ;)

First of all, I love chucks and have been to chucks all over ontario. This is one of the worst we've been to. Service was great, but that is where the positive parts of our experience ended. Steaks were not seared so were a little tough and chewy. One was cooked properly, the other was over. Fries tasted like they'd been sitting for a while. Tap water was terrible and tasted like chlorine. Kids burger was over cooked and dry. Ketchup packets?? Seriously? This is the only Chucks in ontario where we've been given packets of ketchup. Corn was burnt. This Franchisee needs to take a trip to grand bend or London to see how to properly run a Chucks. There are too many good restaurants in Goderich, we will not be back.

Stopped in after a long day of travelling. Like the vibes here and the one waitress work very efficiently even though the place was packed at 6 pm on a Thursday evening. Husband ordered the chicken parm pasta and I opted for the chicken and rib combo. Husband was surprised at the quality of his food since we weren’t at an Italian restaurant. Ribs were ok and the portion was quite small but the chicken breast was huge and I couldn’t finish it. For me the hero of the meal was the carrot cake with carmel sauce, delicious.

Restaurant was smaller than other Chuck's but for this town it was fine. Patio area had lovely hanging planters. Got a table within 5 minutes (Sunday around 6:45pm). Friendly and great service. Delicious food... had the rib eye steak 🥩 with mashed potatoes and 🌽, the half BBQ chicken with mashed potato (because they didn't have baked potato 🥔today), and the strawberry 🍓 pecan salad which I'd never seen on a Chuck's menu before. All the food was delicious with the salad 🥗 being excellent!!! Prices are sooo reasonable here. Hubby had a 30 oz. followed by an 18 oz beer.🍺Very happy with our experience here.

I ordered the Chicken Quarter Dinner for 4 to takeout. The food was ready for pickup pretty much bang on time. The food was very nice with portion sizes appropriate for the average person. The price was good. They must loose a lot of business as two pickup trucks were leaving as I was pulling in as there were no available parking spaces, the parking lot is small. I gave 2 stars for atmosphere because the music was very loud, thus I'm glad I ordered take out as I would not have been happy staying.
Randal David — Google review
Food was above average for a Roadhouse style restaurant. I had the chicken sandwich and although the chicken breast was very thin it was cooked perfectly and was still juicy. The flavors in the sandwich were awesome. Sweet potato fries were a little underdone and not quite crispy. Service was great and the atmosphere was pretty standard for a Roadhouse. The Harley Davidson in the entrance way was pretty cool.
Rod Benoit — Google review
The food was pretty good although portion sizes were smaller than I was expecting. Service was great and prompt but the restaurant needs a serious cleaning it was hard to sit and enjoy our meal with the food covered smears all over the black dividers separating our booth everything was dusty and just not well maintained the bathroom was also quite appalling sorry to say it’s just not the level of cleaning standard you expect from a restaurant unfortunately.

The food and service are great. However, the place needs a good cleaning. Dust is thick on Hvac and speakers. The floors under benches are needing a good wash too. Clean up you restaurant.

Friendly staff, meh food. Had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Just don't get it. I'd be surprised if the patty wasn't some frozen $10 discount bag chicken. It's about the quality of a cheap McChicken sandwich. Here's a recipe for buffalo chicken that is quick and easy: - Take a chicken breast, pound it to about an inch/inch and a half thickness throughout. - beat egg and corn starch together. - dip chicken in egg and cornstarch mix until coated evenly. - roll chicken in your choice of breadcrumbs and pan fry until golden on both sides. - toss in Buffalo sauce. Try it out because I would not eat what you're currently serving again. Pub fries and gravy were good. Your servers were pleasant, the restaurant was clean. Don't skimp on the meat quality. Good luck
