Food was very tasty! Plates are bigger than you think. The red snapper is delicious and definitely enough for 2 people. We also you tuna sashimi, coconut shrimp, and calamari. Giving 4 stars because I got trapped in the bathroom because the handle is broken.

Nice restaurant located on the beach. We ate at night and did get some bug bites but food was good and staff had friendly service.

Delicious seafood right on the beach. Picturesque atmosphere. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We recommend the red snapper, being a whole fish almost scared us away but it was easy to eat and very delicious!

This place was definitely not my favorite on playa Hermosa. There were few vegetarian options and what I did get was very overly salty. They did however have chicken fingers and fish sticks for the children. Also the seafood the seafood was mostly enjoyed by other members of my group. The service was pleasant and the view and location of course cannot be beat as it is right on the beach.

Lovely beach bar and restaurant with amazing views through the palm trees to the beautiful beach. Tasty food. The seafood platter was amazing. Like a stew. Very tasty. Husband had the chicken in mushroom sauce which he enjoyed.

This is a great local place with excellent food and service! They have music playing, but it is soft background music, still able to have a conversation! The sunset view is awesome and we will be back!

Nice restaurant whit his own unique cuisine , at a reasonable price . You can eat your food listening to the roar of the nearby see , time to time some cat will give you company.

Grilled chicken with rice was delicious, especially the seasoning. The NY Strip Steaks were cooked Medium with a Costa Rican sauce full of juices. The bigger plate (Mar y Tierra) was also delicious especially the Lobster Tails with the Butter! Overall the atmosphere and food service were good, the Imperial Beers were Ice Cold and definitely refreshing. Servers were friendly and attentive.

Beach view, tropical setting yet watched the super bowl over our shoulder😉 sunset over the other shoulder! Excellent Tuna with ginger, mixed veggies, and the perfect amount of mashed potatoes - I ate just enough with my watermelon water to go home and sleep well! Enjoyed the wood tables, bohemian style, and fast service. Well, we drank and laughed, so we didn't realize that when the table was cleared, we could go up to the cashier and settle our bill. I'd eat here every night!!!!!!! Runs about 15-22$ USD

I think the food speaks for itself. Get there for the sunset and have a great meal for a decent price. The ambience could be updated and make sure you are by a fan. Otherwise, we enjoyed the drinks and food and would go back.

The service was great. Very friendly and fast. The food was very good but the portion size was very small for what you pay. A lobster that covered a huge plate but only 4 small chucks of lobster meat. The steak was cooked to perfection but also small in size. We payed $150 and we’re still hungry when we left.

On the beach. Absolutely delicious food and great drinks. The service by Alberto was amazing. The fish is fresh and plenty. You have to eat and drink here.

We have been in Costa Rica for 10 days trying all sorts of restaurants, and this was our best meal. Excellent flavour. To make it even better this restaurant is reasonably priced. Exceptional service too. They took very good care of us to the point they made sure we were able to get back to our hotel when I was having trouble getting an Uber. Highly recommend.

The chicken cordon bleu was excellent. The portions were great, the prices were very reasonable for the area. The ambiance was wonderful, between the sunset and the waves punching on the beach. Seductive was excellent. This is like Donda da mario on Sardinal but with a nicer location.

Family of 4 2 boys 14 &16. It was reasonably priced for Tamarindo? and had a lot of choices. Looks like a family run business. Juan was great, suggested meals and if I wasn’t so full I would have had the coco loco. We will come back, we have 5 more days!

This was referred to us by a friend. And we were not disappointed the food was phenomenal. Definitely try the beef burrito. It was so so good! My cousin had the quinoa bowl with shrimp, and she said it was amazing. The margaritas were fabulous and our server Maria was fantastic. If we ever make it back to Costa Rica again, this will definitely be a stop again for sure. A 10/10 You will not be disappointed.

Awesome ahi tacos and friendly service. Cute outdoor seating area with swinging seats. The fish tacos were excellent. Shrimp curry and Greek rolls were average. Worth a stop.

Amazing meal and service last night. First off, Vicky took great care of us and everything she recommended was perfect. We enjoyed the ceviche, beef enchiladas, chicken curry, and the mahi special. Great ambiance and def will be back!

This place was spectacular! The portions were very satisfying and delicious flavors throughout each dish! We shared chips and dip to start with a trio of different kinds of salsa, the tuna tacos, and shrimp tacos. The whole staff was very attentive our entire meal and we enjoyed our wonderful server Juan! Thanks Juan and green papaya!

Probably one of my favorite places to eat in Tamarindo. They have a completely separate vegan menu. So my meat eating friend could get what ever he wanted and so could I. Had the trio dip, and we each had our own burrito. Their hot sauce wasn't that hot at all, but it probably was one of my favorite sauces I had in Costa Rica. It's made in house and you can tell it's homemade. The place is also very nice and fun looking, you can sit on swings outside and eat at a table, or just regular seats indoors and out. They are cash only so bring local currency or American dollars. I had the grilled veggies burrito with vegan cheese and it was definitely great.

Must visit this place. The tacos were delicious. We ordered the shrimp and mahi mahi tacos. Shrimps were cooked well, juicy and plump. Fish was flaky and fresh. Staff is very friendly. Ask for Victoria, she made our experience even more memorable!

The food here is absolutely great. Soo much flavor, sooo many spices and decent prices. If you’re not a fan of spicy food definitely ask which dishes are light on spicy-ness because the pepper levels in some items are HOT & HIGH! But the deliciousness doesn’t disappoint. Got the trio tacos as well as the beef & mashed potato enchiladas. Didn’t like the ginger lemonade or the hibiscus cranberry drink…was very watered down. But given the amazing food, I would definitely revisit.

They have vegetarian and vegan menus, the vegetarian taco was excellent! so delicious. We order the veggie fried taco, and it was to die for! It had mashed potatoes and all! Is cash only (or sinpemovil for locals). The atmosphere is cool. We just found it a little pricey. Not sure if the cat was theirs but she was so cute! Mad did not bother anyone 🥰

I just had the most amazing meal at this taco spot! The seared ahi tuna was mind-blowing. Cooked to perfection, it had a fantastic sear and a melt-in-your-mouth center. But let me tell you, the volcano chili sauce took it to another level. The flavors were out of this world! A special shout-out to Vicky, our awesome waitress. She greeted us with a warm smile, made great recommendations, and ensured we had a fantastic dining experience. Her friendly and attentive service added an extra touch. If you're a fan of ahi tuna and crave incredible flavors, you've got to try their seared ahi tuna with volcano chili sauce. And if you visit, ask for Vicky! This place has won me over, and I'll definitely be back for more delicious adventures.

Excellent food, great service, beautiful decor however the business owner DOES NOT accept credit cards! No Venmo or Zelle either. In addition to only accepting cash, the exchange rate, if you are paying in dollars is extremely unfavorable! Basically you will be paying at least 10% more! Have colones ready if you choose to dine here.

My mom, dad and I had the best experience here!! The vibe is so cute and you can sit on swings outside at your tables. Pela was the sweetest and so helpful and kind! I got the chicken burrito and it may be the best burrito I’ve ever had. I also got the Mexican Sangria and the lava cake for dessert. You can taste the quality behind the food at this place and it’s very well priced. I’m planning on going back and trying their coffee before I leave. 10/10 recommend!!

We love this place. We came for dinner twice during our 3-day stay. They have a dedicated vegan menu with a lot of choices. We particularly recommend the stir-fried veggie tacos and the black bean burger. Outstanding service by Vicky but the entire staff made us feel very welcome - it’s a very lively and cozy atmosphere.

A Tuesday night and it was packed. After eating there, now I know why! Freshly made, large portions, decent price (for Tamarindo). Add in the friendly service and you have a winning choice. (Oh ya, did I mention you can choose to eat while sitting on swings). The tuna tacos (pictured) were large and perfectly prepared. The burritos were huge. (the consensus was that the chicken was better than the beef). A special thank you to our server Victoria who did a tremendous job anticipating our needs.

Amazing spot, nutritious and delicious food, massive portions (you can easily have 2 meals in 1, they are great and can provide takeaway boxes!). Greeted with huge smiles, great service. There is a full vegan menu as well and so many vegetarian options. The seared tuna bowl was amazing.

Right off the busy street with good parking, Green Papaya was amazing. The tacos filled my hunger and was light at the same time. A nice drink menu with a very cool atmosphere. We had Claudia as a server and she was exceptional in every way, very nice. If I can give more than five stars I would.

Green Payaya is my newly found favorite restaurant. All the food was delicious, the servers were lovely, especially a young lady with a beautiful name that I can not remember and Vicky. My favorite dish is the creamy chipotle shrimp appetizer; it was so flavorful with a hint of spice. We enjoyed it so much that I only managed to take a picture of the mostly eaten bowl. Update 3/17/24 Green Payayas did it again! We went to the restaurant and ordered the chips and dip, beef enchiladas, the coconut curry with chicken, and two desserts. Everything was delicious. Also, Vicky was our server once again. She was delightful. I will definitely come back. Next, I want to try their infamous chicken burrito 🌯. I heard it is the best in town. Overall, they received a 10/10 from me.

Stayed in the hotel for one night. We booked the superior room with mountain view. The room was very clean, well-lit and had all the amenities needed. The view was ok as we were on the ground floor under a small hill. The grounds were nice and the hot ponds/hot springs with the volcanic mud bath was really nice. It was included with the stay, and you can spend as much time as you want. We went there twice. Once the day we arrived and once before we checked out. We also went saw the waterfalls, and they were amazing. A lot of variety for breakfast which was included. We also had dinner there, and the food was over all good. We had a great time at the hotel even though the drive to hot springs and waterfalls was like 15 minutes on bumpy road. Having car rental definitely made it easier for us to go see the various attractions in the resort.

This place is so beautiful, comfortable and inviting. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The rooms are clean and bright. The dining room is open and the food is fresh. It’s very very safe and protected. Everything is clearly marked and it’s easy to get around the park. The hot springs and mud are spectacular! Don’t miss it.

We were very happy with our stay here Grounds - Well kept, clean and beautiful Rooms - Clean and comfortable with A/C Activities - A lot to do here. It’s a great area for a family with a tonne or activities, great waterfalls, suspension bridges and hot springs. The hot springs has a variety of different heat pools which is nice. Food - Breakfast was included and the food was good. Safety - Very safe with lots of security to guard our items. Nice and close to La Leona. We are very pleased with this resort.

Extremely nice hotel about an hour outside of Libera, Costa Rica. Very hospitable staff. Very well maintained. Our suite was extremely nice, luxurious, and cozy. The bath has a big tub for soaking, the shower has 2 shower heads (a normal wall shower head and a rain shower from the ceiling), a door in the shower leading to a private patio, 2 sinks, and toilet. The room has a kind bed. It has a patio door leading to a backyard that has a great view and wildlife. There are 2 restaurants and a bar/restaurant on the premises. There's also several hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and hot springs that guests can soak in. There's zip lining, tubing, and tours of the national forest. AWESOME hotel!!!!

This place is worth every penny. The staff were very attentive to our needs. With all the waterfalls, pools and the hot springs included in the cost of the room you take can't go wrong. The entire property in guarded with a gate at the entrance so you are really in your own world. You must take advantage of all the hikes too each of the falls and pools. Most times we had the entire falls/pool to ourselves. Also there's is an over look that's maybe a quarter mile walk from the reception area... Walked there twice and was alone each time. The property around the hotel was filled with wildlife. We saw tons of birds (hope you don't mind to sleep in they go nuts in the AM) iguanas, sugar gliders. Kids loved it and so did we.

Excellent hotel. Great restaurants, with a few vegetarian and vegan options. The grounds are beautiful, though more spread out than I expected. There is a shuttle service to connect many attractions and points, however it only runs every 2-3 hours, so you need to time it well. Excellent concierge and staff for activity planning.

II live in Costa Rica. Have been here three times in the last three years. Expect a great time. Lodging is comfortable. Staff is very nice. Food leaves much to be desired. At best it’s ok. Most waiters are good, waitresses drop food off to never come back. I might leave 4 stars if they could get the restaurant working correctly. Poorly trained. This place is very safe.

My family stayed here 3 nights in the beginning of May. We highly recommend this location for the proximity to waterfalls, hot springs and hiking. Lots of activities are included in the stay but they also have other attractions available such as tubing, zip line and mountain biking but we didn’t partake in those. Also there is an extra cost to go to the National Park too. We went with our toddler (almost 2) and they had a crib available for us to use. The pool is kid friendly with a wading area. The buffet breakfast was a bonus especially with all the fruits for the little one. The hotel and room is very clean. We would go again and recommend to others. The suspension bridges can be sketchy with a little one, so I’d recommend using a toddler carrier so you can use your hands to hold on. Also water shoes came in handy at all the locations. There is change rooms at the mud area but none of the other waterfalls have this option but the hikes are short and do-able wearing a bathing suit.

We stopped here for a late lunch as our tour included lunch. The restaurant is located in the Hacienda hotel. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated as they were getting it decorated for the Christmas holiday season. We had the chicken and rice which was very delicious and full of flavor. They also included deserts which was also delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. Overall it was an excellent dining experience.

This place is a one stop, all the things! Horseback riding, biking, tubing, repelling, waterfalls, hot springs, mug bath, pool, amazing food, a resident iguana that lumbers through the yard, birds, and a volcano. All run so efficiently! The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a couple resident ceiling lizards, so no bugs inside! The biking trails are not for beginners. That's where they lost the 5 stars. There wasn't much explaining how difficult the trek would be. Aside from that, it is an amazing resort with a small town feel.

I was honestly pleasantly surprised, that it was such a nice place and I was able to relax and explore the nature there. The staff was very friendly and the rooms super clean. The whole property is very well maintained. I expected it to be some kind of amusement park due to all of the tours and the tourist groups, which come there. But it was really not crowded and you could calmly enjoy all the beautiful places on the property and the National Park. The waterfalls and hot springs are just wonderful and there were only a few people there. As I said the staff is super friendly and they are really keeping the property in shape. The bed was comfortable and the room was overall spacious. The only reason, I can't give 5 stars, is the restaurant. Breakfast was just the same everyday and not a lot of choices. Taste was ok and the coffee was hot. In the evening, the quality of food is mediocre at best. Since it's not easy to get to other restaurants in this area, it would be such a nice thing, if they provided some good and tasty food. If they'll improve this, I'd give them 5 stars.

Great location with a lot to see and do. We spent two days there but could have spent another day or two checking things out. We spent our time hiking and checking out the hot springs. Waterfalls were beautiful and hot springs were really nice. Felt very safe staying here and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Love this place. The waterfalls, the hot springs. You can hike, canopy tour, horseback rides.. too much to list. Air conditioning broke, three guys showed up to repair, back up, and running better than before in 15 minutes. They do a first class job here.

Wonderful Resort, so far our favorite stop in our Costa Rican trip that has encompassed the past 2 1/2 months. The room was as expected. Everything worked. Nice amenities, soaps, shampoo, etc. Nice towels, comfortable bed/ pillows. The towels were hit/ miss...sometimes we would get wash clothes and handtowels...sometimes we would not... Beautiful grounds, nicely landscaped. Toucans and Oropendollas in the trees. Parrots...iguanas. Easy shuttle service to the park. As well as the waterfalls and thermal hot springs. All free as a guest. Lots of activities and tours. You will stay busy if you wish. Food decent. Would definitely return.

Wonderful overall. The staff was kind and patient. The food was incredible, and the views were breathtaking. So many great memories from the excitement of tubing and zip lining to just relaxing in a hammock with a book during a rainy night. All around a beautiful stay.

I booked a full day excursion with this Hotel. It definitely was the cherry on top. You start off either doing horse back riding which is optional. Next, white river rafting which I never did before. Extreme zip lining & their famous Hot spring . We were able to eat at the restaurant on site which was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this tour 1,000 percent . Staff was very friendly and informative.

Let me start with the rooms (which is the ONLY thing I gave this place 4/5, only because comparatively to the VALUE of the rest of the property is blown). Our room was perfectly basic, 2 beds, television, and washroom packed with lovely smelling soaps + lotions (which is also made by the hotel). NOW, this is what you want to hear! This property is PACKED with spectacular activities (some included, some extra (but super reasonably priced!)). The ones that come with stay: waterfalls (multiple!!), mud bath, hot springs, and walking trials. The one activity we purchased was tubing in the water rapids. VERY WORTH!!! We went down a natural river for 45mins, some rapids, some relaxing points, just experiencing nature at its finest. We had SO much fun! Let alone the horse ride we took to location!! Every staff member is outstanding in helping you, super pleasant to have conversations with. Highly recommend this place, especially if you've only experienced the beaches in Costa Rica. This place will give you an amazing different point of view, up on the mountains. Thank you from Vancouver, BC, Canada!!

We stopped here for one night before our flight home from Liberia. This hotel was definitely the most disappointing part of our trip. For the price (this was the most expensive place we stayed our whole trip), we expected more. The hot springs are amazing, that was by far the best part and it would be worth it to visit them without staying at the hotel. The rooms were just okay. The AC didn’t work very well so it was pretty hot in the room. The shower had lots of hot water though, which was nice. The food at the restaurant was not great, and as others have noted, it’s the only place to eat anywhere nearby, so you’re kinda stuck overpaying for their food. We had better meals literally everywhere else we ate in Costa Rica. Also, the waterfall hikes are only open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, even if you’re going just by yourselves without a tour guide. We woke up early and got to Oropendola at 6:20 am, hoping to beat the heat (it was a high of 100 F!) and see some cool wildlife, only to find that the waterfall hike didn’t open for two more hours. I spoke with staff and tried to ask if any of the hikes were open earlier, but they seemed annoyed with me and just said I should’ve been told all of this when I checked in (I wasn’t, I was only told the hours for the National Park and the hot springs). Since we had to leave to make our flight home, this meant we didn’t get to do the waterfall at all. I wish the hikes were open Dawn to dusk like most hiking trails, when wildlife are most active. Finally, the hotel charges a fee for anyone visiting the National Park to use their road, which is the only road that leads to this particular entrance of the National Park. This didn’t affect us because we were hotel guests, but it does seem exorbitant and unfair that they can restrict access to part of a National Park in this way.

My friends and I stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We could have spent more time here. The buildings and surrounding grounds are so beautiful. There is so much to see and explore free of charge for hotel guests. The hot springs and waterfalls were lovely. Check out is at 12 but you can enjoy the attractions until 4pm on the day you check out. We also went on a zip line tour which I highly recommend if you only have time for a short tour but want good value. I did get kind of sick halfway and they took very good care of me! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great and set in a scenic indoor/outdoor restaurant. It’s not overly touristy but not exactly “off the beaten path” - somewhere in between

Wonderful place! We had a great time visiting waterfalls, hot springs, hiking trails. The waterfalls in front of the hot springs were my favourite! Not too intimidating, beautiful, each had a different charm. The breakfast was included and it was very good variety of everything. Lots of fresh fruits! I would go again for sure!

Traveled Jan 2024 with kids ages 10, 12 and 14 and we have a great time. Rooms are very roomy with patio/ balcony + hammock, staff very pleasant and most important excellent location. Hot springs , waterfalls, adventure center ( horseback riding, tubing, zip lines ) on property. Important to know that you need a car to drive to waterfalls, hot springs.

My friend and I stayed there for a night last week. We absolutely loved the hotel and would definitely go again. The location was perfect since there were lots of activities around. They offer free shuttle at different hours to bring you from the hotel to the waterfalls/volcano/spa. Rooms are very large! The air conditioning worked well and we always had hot water. Breakfast was good with lots of options and fresh fruits. We also had dinner there (not included). The food was so nice and so were the drinks. There is also a nice fireplace spot (bring repellent though!). We had a massage and I would definitely recommend it. Check-in was quick and easy. I would recommend this place! 🙂

Great place for vacation. Roads are great all the way to the hotel. Many activities well marked, great service and nice trails. Everything organized beautiful gardens and areas to relax like the fogatas or fire pits with chairs around and lights great please to sit and share with friends and family

Stopped in here for a small bite and few drinks. Had the chifrijo dish and calamari. AMAZING food. Drinks were very well presented and delicious. Atmosphere was nice and service was great!

Roberto's was a fun fined. The staff was very attentive . The food was good and the margaritas were strong. They are right on the beach so the views and location cannot be beat. What more can you ask for? Unfortunately they did not have live music on Wednesday as they told us they told us they would and that was a disappointment as we were looking forward to it all week.

In my opinion one of the top restaurants in Playa Hermosa. Excellent service, huge portions, amazing view, and service with a smile. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are top notch. Breakfast-burrito with friend egg was my favorite. Lunch-ceviche was perfect with fried plantains. And dinner-any seafood dish including tuna tartare was fantastic.

Right on the water, right at sunset. Was beautiful. Food was good, service was ok. Drinks were best! Flies were somewhat of an issue. I would come back though.

We didn’t have a reservation but we were beyond lucky to have INCREDIBLE accommodating and sweet staff who gave us a perfect table❤️ I ordered the red snapper to go, it was fantastic! Our favorite drinks included a mojito and LindasTea! Amazing amazing view!

I spent 4 days at Playa Hermosa and struggled to find a nice place to eat with good food and reasonable prices. However, I was super impressed with Roberto's. My dinner plate arrived with 7 large shrimp sprinkled with fresh bacon pieces on top of some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten. That coupled with lovely relaxed beach front tables made for an unforgettable evening.

Great location, food was fresh, quick and well priced. Had lots of animals, iguanas and birds around. Ham omelette was amazing! Will be coming back before our trip ends.

We came at night on a Thursday in December. Music was ending and people started to leave. We were very well received. Food was really good and service was super kind. Great option for a good dinner at Playa Hermosa!

Wednesday nights live music was cool. Country music which I like and some pop tunes. Great atmosphere and location! Perfect outdoor dining to catch the sunset. There were lots of folks just like me snapping pics trying to capture the sunset in all its glory. If you’re hoping for a touch of tropical Latin music- ha ha -won’t find it at this Tropical spot - Nope, just sleepy elevator music (the tunes you hear on the local “Lite”radio station in the U.S.). That’s what you’ll hear when there’s no live music. Had to leave earlier than expected, I was able to order dinner to go. The grilled garlic mahi mahi was perfectly cooked & it was delicious!!! Very flavorful- very garlicky!! It had chopped garlic on top which I wiped off bc I didn’t want the strong garlic breath afterwards. Lots of veggies, some still had a nice crunch to them- loved that! The piña colada was just ok- not much alcohol. Lots of waiters in red shirts, very pleasant- all of them.

You can't really beat eating and drinking at a cute place on the beach. Food was good. Service was great. They let us just chill there after our meal, which was nice since they weren't busy. Had ceviche, a pork fish, and fish.

Restaurant with excellent food and the best sunset view on the beach. We had breakfast here too but flies were an issue in the morning.

Great views, service, environment and food was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Had this place on my last night in Costa Rica. Was reluctant because the menu seemed pricey but I got the Arroz con Pollo which was a pleasantly large portion and it was delicious (it came with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables), and fairly priced. Sunset dinner was amazing. My dinner with a piña colada came out to $27usd after tax+service fee which I thought was reasonable. All workers were nice.

Lovely little restaurant overlooking the water. The latte and breakfast were good. We got the healthy bowl and pancakes. The staff were very friendly. Prices were a bit high compared to the area (breakfast cost $42)

Aquasport has a great vibe! The service there is amazing. You can sit just about anywhere, some tables are literally on the sand, on the beach. We ordered food, and rather than waiting at the table, we could jump in the water and come back when we were ready. They have outdoor showers to wash the sand off. Smoothies were the best we had of all the restaurants we visited while in Costa Rica.

My wife and I stopped here on a beach walk when we arrived in Costa Rica. They have a friendly beach atmosphere. Good view of the beach/ocean. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

This was our first dining experience in Costa Rica. The restaurant is right on the beach so the views are beautiful. The service staff are all professional & friendly. The food was good - nothing spectacular but I would go back for the drinks & views!

Totally unique experience, tables are on the beach, not a huge crowded tourist trap, very laid back. Drinks are fantastic and have a section on the menu for vegetarian and vegan food. Wonderful presentation and good was really good!

Great food. Tuna and Snapper were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were large and priced very fair. Service from Maxs was fantastic. The ambiance is more than 5 stars. Bathrooms and restaurant was very clean. Will definitely go.back

This bar was so cool! I'm sad we got in so late as there is a 9pm curfew in Costa Rica right now due to covid. The drinks were amazing, well priced, and the ocean was so close. Also there were a few cats wandering around which I didn't get to pet but we're still fun to watch

Bring your bug spray: Nice spot to watch the sunset. Waiters are very nice and provide an excellent service. They make a spectacular chilimango. Afternoon/evening gets crawling with blood sucking bugs (they didn’t seem like mosquitoes to me). We didn’t eat but cocktails were great

My husband and I chose this rest for our lunch today and it did not disappoint with plenty of food option as well as drinks without alcohol or with alcohol in a beautiful setting with tables on the sand or cover area either way you can still enjoy the beautiful blue water from your table while. Food was very tasty and generous portions, the patacones are one of the best I have had! Costumer service was outstanding Definitely a must visit when in the area!!! Ps. Call button at every table so you can call for service when you are ready to order, at your own pace.

Our favorite spot to grab a drink and watch the sunset. The beach in front is calm and great for kids. The food and drinks are reasonable priced, and the atmosphere is just stunning. We come here at least once every trip. Our 5 year old begged to come back. She loved the swings.

Great selection of food for the whole family. Chaufas in particular was absolutely delicious. Nice ambiance, the live music in particular was brilliant. Staff also very attentive and funny - particularly Max.

This is by far the best restaurant on playa hermosa. The only one with modern decor, plating, and flavors. I’d trust anything you order from the kitchen or bar is amazing. I came back three times because it was so good. Loved the quesadilla, potato terrine, and pasta.

Visited with my husband, a friend, and our dog. Despite previous mediocre experiences, we returned. Upon arrival, a pregnant dog, seemingly part of the restaurant, attacked our dog. A server, removing his nametag, yelled at my husband, who restrained the attacking dog. Attempts to discuss this with the owner went unanswered. Beware if you have a dog; this restaurant lacks responsibility for incidents like ours. Many other places deserve our money.

One of my favourite spots from my Costa Rica trip. As soon as you walk in, you see an incredible beach restaurant with tables by the beach, swings and beach chairs. I have lived in Peru and when I saw they had a number of Peruvian food options, I had to order the ceviche and the causa. Needless to say it was INCREDIBLE! Turns out the chef is Peruvian. We then shared a few other dishes and enjoyed the lovely sunset. You have access to the beach as well so went for a walk by the shore after. Would highly recommend!

The food was fine but the service quite slow. Friendly enough, just leave plenty of time when you come. Several ordered items came out wrong. Again, the friendly staff made up for it.

Food is good, slower service, friendly staff for the most part. Can't beat the views and atmosphere. Try the coconut margarita.
