The Kaaba is a structure that stands in the heart of the Masjid al-Haram, one of Islam's most significant mosques. Muslims face the Kaaba during their five daily prayers and believe that it represents God's dwelling place and oneness. The Black Stone located inside the Kaaba was given to Prophet Abraham and Prophet Ishmael by the Archangel Gabriel.
The most spiritual and peaceful sacred and holy place where you can relieve yourself. Your soul will not feel pure until you follow this religion and visit this place . A place was set first by Adam obig, and the rebuilt by Abraham to all believers. May Allah preserve it blessed and secured for all believers. May Allah spread his blessing on this pure land . Amen

How can one talk ill about the best place that Allah has bestowed to mankind on this earth? The Ka'aba inside Masjidil Haram is the best place to detach oneself from the worldly burdens into a sanctuary where Allah is remembered. Though the masjid surrounding the Ka'aba is still under the 3rd Saudi Expansion Project with parts being blocked and restricted by the authorities, still, the essence of being in the holiest place where the Prophet Muhammad stood in front of the Ka'aba is strongly present. Every person who has ever set foot here will always have the urge and longing to be here again and again, if not for hajj, umrah. May Allah preserve His noble house and us, the Muslim ummah of the End of the Time. آمين.

The Kaaba, often referred to as the House of Allah, holds immense significance in the Islamic faith. As a devout symbol of unity and spirituality for Muslims around the world, the Kaaba stands as a testament to the deep-rooted religious traditions and historical importance of Islam. Its striking black cubic structure, draped in a black and gold silk covering known as the kiswah, commands reverence and awe from those who behold it. Pilgrims from every corner of the globe gather in Mecca to perform the Hajj, a mandatory religious duty, circling the Kaaba seven times in a ritual known as Tawaf. This act symbolizes the unity of Muslims and their submission to the one true God, Allah. The Kaaba's historical significance dates back to the time of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Isma'il (Ishmael), who, according to Islamic tradition, were commanded by Allah to construct the Kaaba as a place of worship. The rituals associated with the Kaaba have been passed down through generations, creating a profound sense of connection between Muslims and their faith. Beyond its religious importance, the Kaaba serves as a focal point for the global Muslim community, fostering a sense of belonging and shared identity. The atmosphere around the Kaaba during Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages is electric, filled with prayers, devotion, and a deep sense of spirituality. In summary, the Kaaba stands as an enduring symbol of unity, faith, and devotion for Muslims worldwide. Its historical and religious significance, coupled with the spiritual experiences it offers to millions of pilgrims, makes it a cornerstone of Islamic culture and a source of inspiration for believers.

🕋 The Celestial Kaaba: A Beacon of Devotion 🕋 In the heart of Mecca, where the sands whisper ancient secrets, stands the Kaaba—a sacred edifice that transcends mere stone and mortar. Pilgrims from every corner of the globe converge upon this hallowed ground, drawn by an invisible thread of faith. Magical is an understatement. Imagine a place where time bends, where the mundane dissolves into the extraordinary. Families bond, hearts swell, and the air itself hums with reverence. Here, the soul finds solace, and the eyes witness the divine. Allah SWT’s Glory radiates from every corner. From the time of Adam (peace be upon him), the Kaaba has stood as a beacon—an earthly axis connecting heaven and earth. Seven tawafs, seven spiritual heavens—the whole experience transcends the ordinary. We long for the day when the earth trembles, and the Kaaba gazes upon the horizon once more. On that day, the soulless entities fade, and eternity beckons. Verily, the Kaaba is not a mere building; it is a symphony of devotion echoing through time. NB: Remember to take appointments in NUSUK app for practicing Umrah.(Not necessary always)

When did I visit? I had a four days trip to Mecca Kabba (Haram) during second 10 days of Ramadan Experience Being a Muslim this was my first visit to this place. The first ever time you see Kaabah, is when you see it and you feel yourself that you are in presence of God and tears flow. Duration of Stay Keep atleast 4 days to stay. Expect extreme congestion during Ramadan so keep that in mind. Worst Problem Its very challenging to find your hotel shuttle when going back as there are hundreds of buses in a huge area. There is no such practice by majority of hotels who would tell you which location, which time, bus would come to pick you up. They would say after and before namaz but after namaz I kept on waiting (all four days) but couldn't ever find despite waiting for more than a hour

The Kaaba, amidst its bustling crowds and constant activity, is undeniably a remarkable and profoundly peaceful place. Its sheer vibrancy and the diverse array of people from all corners of the globe create an atmosphere that is both dynamic and serene. Despite the continuous buzz surrounding the Kaaba, there is an inexplicable sense of tranquility that envelops the entire space. The experience of being amidst the worshippers, each engaged in their own spiritual journey, adds a unique layer to the atmosphere. During special times like Taraweeh prayers, the ambiance is particularly captivating. The recitation of the Quran by skilled and heartfelt reciters resonates deeply within the soul, elevating the entire experience to another level. The spiritual connection felt during these moments is truly extraordinary. The physical location of the Kaaba itself is awe-inspiring. Surrounded by the grandeur of the Masjid al-Haram, the Kaaba stands as a focal point for millions of worshippers, a symbol of unity and devotion. Visiting the Kaaba is an experience that words can barely capture. It's a place where the earthly and the divine converge, leaving an indelible impression on the hearts of all who are fortunate enough to visit.

Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba The very first construction of the Kaaba was done by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his son Ismail as a house of worship to one God. Allah (the Glorified and Exalted) says in the Quran that this was the first house that was built for humanity to worship Allah (the Glorified and Exalted). Soon after Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) died, people started filling the Kaaba with idols. It was not until Prophet Muhammad (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) defeated the idol-worshipers that the idols inside the Kaaba were destroyed. One of the Five Pillars of Islam requires every Muslim to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in his or her lifetime if they are able to do so. Multiple parts of the Hajj require pilgrims to walk seven times around the Kaaba in a counter-clockwise direction. This circumambulation (Tawaf), is also performed by pilgrims during Umrah. Muslims around the world face the Kaaba during prayers, no matter where they are. This is called facing the Qiblah. As mentioned in this verse in the Quran, “Verily, We have seen the turning of your (Muhammad’s) face towards the heaven. Surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblah (prayer direction) that shall please you, so turn your face in the direction of Masjid al-Haram. And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction.” [2:144 ] Masjid al-Haram (The Holy Mosque) Masjid al-Haram was built around the Kaaba. It is also the largest mosque in the world. It was first built under the leadership of the Caliph Omar Ibn al-Khattab (634-644) and has been modified continuously under several Muslim rulers. Omar, the first Caliph, ordered the demolition of some houses surrounding the Kaaba in order to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims and built a 1.5 meter high wall to delineate a large prayer area. During the reign of his successor Caliph Uthman Ibn Affan (644-656), the prayer space was enlarged and was covered with a roof carried on wooden columns and arches. In 692, after Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan conquered Mecca from Ibn Zubayr, the guardian of the holy site, the outer walls of the mosque were raised, the ceiling was covered with teak and the column capitals were painted in gold. His son, al-Walid (705-715), contributed to the Mosque of al-Haram by replacing the wooden columns with marble ones and by decorating its arches with mosaics. Later, Abbasid Caliph Abu Ja’far al-Mansur (754-775) added mosaics to the columns. He also doubled the size of the northern and western wings of the prayer hall and erected the minaret of Bab al-Umra on the northwest corner. In 777, due to the growing number of pilgrims, Abbasid Caliph al-Mahdi (775-785) ordered the rebuilding of the mosque, demolishing more houses around the Kaaba. The new mosque enclosure centered on the Kaaba, measured 196 meters by 142 meters. It was built on a grid plan, with marble columns from Egypt and Syria, decorated with gilt teak wooden inlay. Al-Mahdi also built three minarets crowned with crenellations and placed above Bab al-Salam, Bab Ali and Bab al-Wadi of the mosque.

It was a beautiful experience and it was very peaceful to pray. My only complaint wouldn't be towards the place but the crowd. Crowding is normal here, but it would be amazing if there was some awareness for the men coming in contact women they don't know. They don't even try to avoid contact with women and that's a major problem. I understand accidental touches, but a lot of men kept prolonged contact and I had to put myself on either side of my father to get away.

Masjid Al Haram, the most sacred and revered site in Islam, is not merely a place of worship but a spiritual epicenter that draws millions of faithful pilgrims from across the globe. As the largest mosque in the world, it stands as a symbol of unity, devotion, and the profound connection between humanity and the Divine. From the moment one sets eyes upon its magnificent structure, with the towering minarets and the majestic Kaaba at its center, a sense of awe and reverence washes over them. The sheer scale of Masjid Al Haram is awe-inspiring, yet it is the palpable atmosphere of holiness and devotion that truly captivates the soul. Every corner of this sacred sanctuary is imbued with history and significance, from the Maqam Ibrahim to the hills of Safa and Marwa. Each ritual performed within its walls, from the tawaf around the Kaaba to the prayers offered in congregation, is a testament to the enduring faith of the Muslim ummah. But Masjid Al Haram is more than just a physical structure; it is a beacon of spiritual enlightenment and renewal. The serenity of the Haram, especially during the tranquil moments of night, invites introspection and contemplation, allowing worshippers to forge a deeper connection with their Creator. For those fortunate enough to perform the pilgrimage, known as Hajj, Masjid Al Haram is the culmination of a lifelong journey—a moment of profound spiritual fulfillment and surrender. But even for those who may never set foot within its sacred precincts, its significance transcends physical boundaries, serving as a source of inspiration and guidance for Muslims around the world. Masjid Al Haram is not just a mosque; it is the heart and soul of Islam, a place where the earthly and the divine converge in perfect harmony. Truly, there is no experience more profound or transformative than standing in the presence of the Haram, enveloped in the embrace of faith and devotion.

The Muslim pilgrimage destination of Mount Arafat is a 70 meter high, pillar-topped granite hill. The site is most famous for the Farewell Sermon Khutbat al-Wada, which Muhammad delivered from atop the peak in 630 AD. Pilgrims experience a sense of fulfilment upon reaching the summit and consider it one of the greatest spiritual experiences of Hajj.

Based on Islamic history, it is believed that after being taken out of Jannah and placed back on Earth, it was Mount Arafat where Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawa (AS) reunited. Mount Arafat is also commonly known as Jabal Arafat, which means the “Mountain of Mercy.” Moreover, it is the place where Prophet Muhammad PBUH stood and delivered the Last Sermon, also known as Khutbat al-Wada, to his companions and all Muslim pilgrims who accompanied him on the Hajjat ul-Wida
Arif MOINUDDIN — Google review
Mount Arafat, also known as Jabal al-Rahmah (the Mountain of Mercy), holds great significance in Islamic history. During the annual Hajj pilgrimage, pilgrims gather on the plain of Arafat to perform the most crucial ritual, known as Wuquf. This is where Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) delivered his Farewell Sermon during his last pilgrimage, emphasizing unity, equality, and the importance of following Islamic principles. Jabal al-Rahmah is a specific part of Mount Arafat, and it is believed that this is the place where Prophet Adam and Hawwa (Eve) were reunited after being separated. The name "Mountain of Mercy" reflects the idea that ALLAH mercy is particularly abundant at this location. The Wuquf at Arafat is a moment of deep spiritual reflection and supplication, symbolizing the gathering of humanity before ALLAH. After Wuquf, pilgrims proceed to Muzdalifah, marking the completion of a key phase in the Hajj pilgrimage. The historical and religious significance of Mount Arafat makes it a sacred site for Muslims, reinforcing the importance of humility, forgiveness, and seeking ALLAH mercy.

Some of them placed turbans/headgear on the head/snap a photo then asked for payment. Just knock-off those headgear and walk away.

Mount Arafat is a mountain in Saudi Arabia that is considered to be one of the holiest sites in Islam. It is located about 10 kilometers east of the city of Mecca, and is the site where the Prophet Muhammad gave his Farewell Sermon during the Hajj. The mountain is a large, flat plateau that is about 20 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide. It is said that the mountain was created when Adam and Eve were expelled from Paradise, and that it is the place where they were reunited. During the Hajj, pilgrims spend the day of Arafat on Mount Arafat, where they pray, make dua, and reflect on their lives. It is a day of great spiritual significance, and is considered to be one of the most important days in the Islamic calendar. Mount Arafat is a truly special place, and it is an experience that no Muslim will ever forget. Here are some additional details about the mountain: The mountain is about 630 meters high. The mountain is named after the Arabic word "Arafat", which means "knowledge". The mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I hope this helps!

Shopping mall
Shopping
This shopping mall is located in Jeddah and is known for its luxury brands. It has a family-friendly environment and is one of the busiest malls in the city.
Impressive, has everything, honestly shops from Every corner of the world, super clean and well designed. Can see why they says it’s the best in Jeddah - happened to be here during the Argentina game so many places felt empty… but that’s because they were watching history unfold on screens in store rooms. Obviously expensive, but it’s why you’re here, I guess.

Lots of glitter and glamor going on here. There many local and international shops as well as a huge food court with multiple culinary choices. One thing I did notice - most international brands charge an exorbitant amount of money for their products. It's unfair that just because the Saudis can pay more, you charge them extra

Sakura Japanese Restaurant, located in a refined hotel environment, provides an assortment of lunch and dinner options such as bento boxes and a sushi bar. This establishment has received laudatory comments from international guests who have consistently praised the food's quality and portion sizes. They express their satisfaction by stating that the cuisine is exceptional and the servings are plentiful. Many visitors recommend Sakura as their preferred destination for experiencing delectable Lebanese dishes.
Cannot express my pleasure to tell how this restaurant is so amazing. I really enjoyed every bite and every single sipping starting from their complimentary drink, the very fast and quick service and kind treatment with another complimentary drink “berry tea” and finally with a special treatment “yummy vanilla ice cream”. Special thanks to their waiter who served me .. cannot recall his name but I’m sure all of them are great. Cannot wait to come and dine in this restaurant again.

Service was excellent. Waiters paid special attention to our every need. The welcome cranberry drink and warm towel made us relax from the moment we sat down. The sushi boat was delicious. Clearly each piece was freshly made with top notch ingredients. Menu is extensive. All juices are freshly made. Portions were very large, enough for 3-4 people to share. Prices are quite high but quality and quantity certainly matches the prices. When customers leave the tables and chairs are sanitized. And reset with panache. This is a fine dining experience worth every penny.

My favorite Japanese restaurant since my childhood. They were located on the upper floors and cooked in a teppanyaki style. However they closed for a few years and then re-opened with a new theme. I miss the teppanyaki, yet they still maintained their quality and authenticity by serving traditional Japanese dishes 👌🏻all their meat dishes are superb, their shrimp is also amazing! Even the chicken 😍. and the beef fried rice is a must! They have some unique Sushi as well, but if you go there don’t just go for sushi! Go there with an empty stomach and indulge. It’s good for a business lunch, date nights, or with a few friends. I guarantee you’ll eat fresh food in a traditional Japanese way.

BYBLOS is a popular Lebanese restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. The dishes are hearty and the location is beautiful. Prices are on the higher end, but the food is excellent.
It was such unforgettable experience with my colleagues in BYBLOS, the Lebanese restaurant. We went to Breakfast in Ramadan, all appetisers were excellent, we had two main dishes ( sea food with Siadiah & mixed grilled) 10/10, roses drink is something you can not miss. Khayal restaurant is a popular Middle Eastern restaurant in Jeddah that serves delicious and authentic dishes. The goal of Khayal is to bring classic Turkish cuisine to the Middle East, and they strive to make only the most succulent dishes. Whether you're looking for a meat lover's paradise or want to try some of their signature dishes, Khayal is definitely worth checking out.
Really excellent grill restaurant, food is very tasty and prices are excellent. Staff is, always friendly. They are serving couple of starters n freshly baked bread on the house when u come. I am a very big fan of their starters/appetizers. Visiting at least once a week.

Khayal is the best. The taste and service is always amazing. Slightly pricey but not more than other similar restaurants (plus they give free appetizers and after-dinner tea). Bonus marks for relative quiet and no music. Only thing I'd say is the seating could be a made a bit comfier and secluded.

Khayal: Arabic Fusion Delight recently had the pleasure of dining at Khayal, and I must say, it's a restaurant that excels in providing impeccable service and efficiency. Unfortunately we were left hanging for some time to be seated. However this was made up by the service provided by the table staff. Khayal offers a diverse menu, it's important to note that the cuisine isn't strictly Turkish, but rather a fusion of various Arabic influences. For starters, I ordered the Mixed Meze Platter, and it was a delightful treat. The combination of flavors and textures was a true feast for the senses. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the Mixed Platter, which included delectable Kibbeh, samosas, and a variety of grilled items. Among them, the beef awsal and the cheesy kebabs stood out as particularly outstanding. The Grilled Eggplant was cooked to perfection, and its taste was simply superb. What truly impressed me was the presentation of the dishes, as each one was visually appealing and well thought out. Overall, my experience with the food was enjoyable, though it's worth mentioning that the spice level was relatively low. We tried the Baklawa with Ice Cream. While it was decent, the true star was the soft Kunafah topped with coarse Kunafah and ice cream. The combination of textures and flavors was simply scrumptious. To top it all off, the complementary tea provided was a perfect 10 out of 10. In terms of rating, Khayal is 8.5 out of 10. The restaurant excels in service and efficiency, and their mixed platters and grilled items are truly delightful. However, the lack of authentic Turkish flavors might disappoint those seeking a more traditional culinary experience. Nevertheless, Khayal offers a unique fusion of Arabic cuisines, making it an intriguing choice for those looking to explore different flavors.

The Big Bang Burger Pune — Google review
Good service! Decent food although not fully authentic and some flavors are off, especially the side rice next to shashlik kebab which is completely adjusted according to the local palate( some type of basmati rice with berries and extra spice/flavor added). This spot gets crowded after 8 pm. There are tons of families with kids that are wandering around the tables and making quite a bit of noise so if you’re looking for some relaxed and pleasant experience and ambiance, it might not be a good choice at all. When it comes to the menu items, I would highly recommend changing your poorly implemented classic vanilla ice cream on top of the kunefe into Kahraman Maras ice cream which can elevate your crispy and tasty kunefe into the next level! Also, using good quality of pomegranate sauce and walnuts on top of the Gavurdagi salad can help locals and tourists to taste authentic flavor of the salad version that served in majority of restaurants around Turkey! Overall the food and mezes were good and fairly priced!

We ordered the bruschetta pomodoro, onion soup, tomato soup, pesto and goat cheese gnocchi, baked ziti and “chicken peri-peri pollo pollo pizza” Bruschetta pomodoro 🧄🍅🌿 fresh and delightful 😌 💵 39 SR Onions soup 🧅🥣 weren’t very happy with it. Its a creamy soup, unlike the French thin-consistency onion soup. Bland 🧂💵 45 SR Tomato soup 🍅🥣 it’s slightly better than the onion. The soups tasted bland and more like the store-bought (i.e cans or packets) 💵 39 SR Pesto and goat cheese gnocchi 🥔🌿 was slightly under seasoned 🧂 💵 79 SR Baked ziti 🥘 Alfredo sauce, bolognese sauce and three cheeses: Parmesan, Pecorino, & Mozzarella. We liked the creaminess of it 🤤🧀🥛 💵 74 SR Chicken peri-peri pollo pollo pizza 🍕🍗 it tastes like panino’s tandoori pizza, if you know what I mean 😅 its ok .. 💵 62 SR The food was alright.. Piatto is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience and awesome vibes. While their complementary salad wasn't good, our order was to die for. The pesto pasta was fantastic and the triple pizza was delicious. They offer a great variety of pastas on their extensive menu to ensure we keep coming back for more.
Rafat Rezik — Google review
Really disappointed with this Piatto having visited locations in Riyadh and Dammam. Main issues 1. Salad bar is so small with less variety that other cities that I have visited before. 2. The servers were genuinely not enthusiastic to work here and when we were giving drinks order didn't ask about us ordering food. 3. One Egyptian gentleman told me off for taking a plate that is the same size as I had in Dammam for the salad bar, he offered a super small plate which means would need to go to the salad bar probably 3 to 4 times. Overall if you like the food and offer visit but this is not the pest image of a piatto location by any means. On a positive note the pasta dish I had was cooked perfectly with great flavour.

I ordered the spicy deep fried poached egg on toast. I have had this at the Red Sea Mall location and it was delicious. However, this egg had a hard yolk, and it was so tough I had difficulty cutting it. The waiter told me that this was a result of the frying and that he would get two poached eggs. Great! I asked him to make sure the yolk was runny, and he assured me it would be as it would not be fried. 10 minutes later I got my 2 poached eggs, again both with hard yolks! The toast with avocado and salad was delicious, but the deep fried eggs were inedible and the poached were not cooked as I asked.

My first and last visit here and highly recommended not to order the lemon with mint it was the worst I've ever tasted and had it exchanged for a hot orange juice (had to borrow ice from another glass 🙄). The salad was tasty but everything else we ordered was just okay, not worth the hype my sister created. I don't know why I even bothered going here.. But yea some people might have a different experience so this was just me and my wife's day.. 2 stars because they let kids make their own pizza and for the salad..

Chicken restaurant
Nando's Red Sea Mall branch serves up the same delicious chicken dishes as their other locations, but with a twist--they have new items on the menu, like feta cheese chicken strips. The restaurant is open until 12am, and despite the Eid rush, service was pretty good.
After my mishap from the last location @ Lillian towers I decided to go back to the first ever branch that opened in Jeddah. Even tho nandos management requested me to contact them and I refused to do so because I believe service should always be exceptional. To my surprise service @ Red Sea mall branch is slow but they make up for it by accommodating for special requests. The restaurant was out of fries and wedges due to the Eid rush which is understandable. We tried the new item which was on the menu which was very flavourful. Although I’m not a big fan of feta cheese but somehow liked it.

Well, the food lived up to and exceeded expectations, the flavor was spot on, well done and super tender, I can’t wait to try it again, not to mention the amazing fries. Speaking of amazing, those portions are something worth mentioning too, simply great. The service didn’t unfortunately live up to expectations. But overall this is a great place to go to, absolutely loved it. I had also to go and buy their separate marination snd sauce.

Weekends can get too much waiting time But service was good We were 4 for a get together and ordered wings and mix starters and the wings were really good with different spice levels Next the full platter with 5 sides were really good - all sides were good and for the chicken was so tender For drinks we had madira red which was kinda mojito with pomegranate and was good and refreshing

Outstanding service! The personnel is very attentive! The food quality is good, although the potato wedges were quite over fried. The overall food presentation is nice, the menu options are very much different from the one in the US! Salad portions are quite small, they should work on it and give a value for advertised price ranges for basic salad ingredients considering the minuscule amount put into the plate!

Great food and attentive service. Have always noticed that staff always comes to your table at least twice after serving, to check on you. Espetada Lima Luso is a must try. The marinade is very flavourful. I also found the portions to be filling.

Must try item is Espetada Pimento Cremosa. Nando's, a global favorite, serves up mouthwatering peri-peri chicken. Known for its unique flavor, this South African chain offers a fiery yet flavorful experience in a vibrant, casual setting. A must-visit for spice enthusiasts!
