Absolutely stunning. The cathedral has beautiful stained glass windows all over. There is a fee to enter, it is 7 euros, and as a lot of things in Spain, it closes early afternoon and reopens at 4pm. Beautiful building. The museum was closed when I visited, for no obvious reason. €7 entry fee at the door. We were kept waiting in a queue for about 20 minutes after the door opened at 16:00. Good free audio guide which you access by scanning a QR code at the entry kiosk.

What a stunningly beautiful work of art! Wow! The exterior alone is one of the most impressive I've seen travelling for several decades. The interior is fantastic as well. The audio guide is one of the better ones my wife and I have used during several months of going to historical sites throughout Spain the last two years. I really appreciated the interactive art pieces, which made the visit much more enjoyable for me. There are enough explanations that if you’re interested in some particular thing, you can read up more on it, but it’s not at all overwhelming if you’re not one to read the descriptions of everything. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing were the bathrooms, which I found very unclean — one had no soap, or even hand sanitizer, to use after using the bathroom. Overall, though, a good experience and worth the 5€ (if you’re a student).

We were unfortunately unable to get an English tour - they were only providing tours in Spanish the day of our visit. I appreciated the patience of the guide who did take time to point out highlights for is nonetheless. The Roman Pantheon where the royalty of Spain lie was a must see.

This ancient square with a Roman fountain was just opposite my hotel. It was beautiful and there were some popular pubs an restaurants in the square. close to San Martin and great restaurants.

Worth a visit if you’re spending a couple days in León and are a fan of contemporary art. It is a bit far away from the city center but the walk is not unpleasant. Tickets are very cheap and there are English translations of all of the placards. We were only in the museum for about 45 minutes because it is much smaller than it looks.

One of the worst Contemporary Art Museum we have ever been.The rooms are almost empty, no much artwork to see, the cafe is closed and there is no shop to get a book/ gift. The staff is extremely grumpy, specially with kids and in exhibitions that are clearly targeted to kids. It’s a no-sense. It’s a pity because the building is nice outside and they could host so many nice exhibitions and projects but it is completely abandoned and more geared to the upper- class/ snobbish people of this city. Don’t lose your time coming here, there are better things to do in the city.

It is a very small museum (€1 entrance fee). Not much actual Roman objects on display but you get to walk on a section of the Roman wall. Not really worth visiting if you are short of time or not interested in Roman history. There are no English descriptions provided.
