Lovely Heritage site. Little Shop and museum, boat trips £3 all day car parking, main car park is short walking distance to aqueduct where you can walk alongside the canal but be mindful is it narrow pathway and can become tight when many people are visiting. Wouldn't recommend the walk across bridge if you heights is a fear. However there is some great views going across

What an amazing place to visit. Educational, spectacular views and an experience walking from one side to the other. Parking nearby, gift shop, boat hire and a museum where you can learn how the aqueduct was built. A pub with good food added into the mix.

This amazing feat of Georgian engineering is definitely worth a visit, whether on foot or on a canal boat. The aqueduct is an impressive 38 metres high, making it the tallest said structure in the world, and the views from the top over the beautiful Welsh landscape are truly stunning. Do be advised that although there is a footpath on the aqueduct, it is quite narrow, and owing to the great height it is advisably not for those faint of heart. Nevertheless, if you don't feel confident walking across the aqueduct you can always walk beneath it, or even view it from afar. If anything, I personally believe viewing it from a distance is the best way to experience it. The bridge is adjacent to a stunning park with dense woodland, hiking paths and a pleasant, tranquil atmosphere, especially in the warm summer months. Overall I strongly recommend visiting, for its World Heritage Site status is truly well earned.

We only stopped for a very short time, just to see what our was like for a future visit! From what we could see, it looks great. Had a short walk in the Aqueduct to take a picture. There was lots of canoeing going on. We could see a pub, shop and there was a visitor centre. Everything was very clean. Lots of parking close by and only £3 for the whole day! Definitely looking forward to a longer visit with the whole family!

It's a world heritage site, so it's quite touristy. Unfortunately the aqueduct was closed, so we were unable to walk across. However, there is a nice walk along the river down to a country park. I think it would be a nice place to visit in the warmer weather.

Decided to visit here as I was in the area. Absolutely loved the views. It's £3 to park but that covers you for all day. Lots of steps and climbs, but you are rewarded with some stunning scenery. Would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area

Stunning Aqueduct with fantastic views for miles around. There are also some lovely walks around the river and canal which give some great views of the Aqueduct. Definitely worth a visit. There is also a great pub (The Telford) just a short walk away which has outdoor seating and decent food.

Amazing experience to go over the Aquaduct in a narrow boat! Even better the weather was good too! Just as long as you're not scared of heights as there's nothing one side and a footpath and rail for walkers the other side. Fabulous views across the valley though.

A lovely place to stop off on our travels through North Wales. Car park is massive and easily accommodates everyone. There is a nice visitor centre and toilets only a short walk from the car park and aqueduct. Some nice picture opportunities and viewpoints on the visitor centre side by following the sighs to go down to the left of the aqueduct instead of straight across it. Enough space on the aqueduct to pass people but it can be tight. The gaps in the railings are a bit on the bigger side so keep small dogs and small kids close by.

Interesting to see this amazing structure with the naked eye. Very high up. If your scared of heights not recommended to walk across as you could meet other people then you have to move close to either edge.!! Water or high drop. 😳👀Amazing views though

Nice walk by the canal on top of a bridge, an unique experience to see. Boat can be rented. The ducts itself are a good sight to see at a fsir distance.

Unique and spectacular aqueduct. It is very narrow therefore we did not dare walk across to the other side. You can go underneath and admire it from the level of river Dee. There is huge parking for blue badge holders and some places you can pay upon arrival. Local cafes/shops for food and drink.

Beautiful 😍 views on a lively sunny day, from looking off the Aqueduct and up at it. It is well signed in terms of finding the route to the aqueduct by road and on foot. The kids and my partner all had a wonderful walk around the area. Best to wear walking boots or something sturdy for going off the beaten track. Still a bit muddy...

Fantastic views, fab few hours amazing engineering,you can walk it or go in narrowboat also canoe during certain times👍 lovely woodland walks along river bank.Also do call at the small information centre with it's mini museum👍

Very nice to have a walk along the canal and have a tea at a cafe. We did not ride on a boat but would be a very good experience.

The car park is a short walk from the start of the aquaduct. We were so pleased to have been able to walk alongside it. The people in the canoes and canal boats also seemed as delighted as we were. The couple in the information/ shop were just so enthusiastic.

Not much to say that hasn’t already been said but it’s an absolute must visit for anyone coming to Llangollen even if it’s just for an hour. A short walk from the long-stay car park down the river basin brings you to the aqueduct. It’s narrow but more than workable.

Beautiful and very impressive. Lovely if not a little stomach churning walk across the aqueduct and then a gentle walk by the canal. You can also take to the steps and walk down to the valley floor and fully take in the vast scale of the structure. The walk along the river is fantastic, wild garlic is everywhere and the smell is amazing. There are toilets and a visitor centre where you can buy hot and cold drinks, also a huge carpark which is £3.00 for the day.

Worth a visit, although I wasn't brave enough to walk across it because it was far too busy for me to attempt it. If like me you're not fond of heights then maybe walking across is not such a good idea 😬

Amazing canal boat ride. It is a great experience and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It is great to have the canal boat trust here. It is worth going to visit if you like history, architecture and landscape views.

It is closed at the moment for maintenance work, but it still looks as amazing as ever, whether walking over it or down the trails surrounding it. I love it being 2 miles away from my doorstep to take a stroll down to see it again

Fantastic piece of historic engineering. You will probably never see anything else like it. Take ride across in a canal boat or walk. Plenty of parking, nice place for a picnic. Well worth it.

It was a nice place to visit for an outing. Nice views. A good place to have a walk in nature. Must have boots or trekking shoes as the routes for walking are muddy and slippery throughout. Worth visiting.

Incredible feat of engineering! Considering it was built 230 odd years ago, virtually by hand! Beware ! If you're even a smidge scared of heights don't bother! There is a considerable drop. My wife had to turn back as she was petrified, worried also that our dog, Ned, would fall through the bars of the rails. Also be aware that if you're a big lad like me, the path across the aqueduct is narrow 🤣 and you virtually have to squeeze past one another! You won't spend a huge amount of time here, but it's well worth the visit.

Interesting place. Great time with family. For me, traveling on a cruise ship was an additional attraction, but I think a kayak would be more adventurous. I couldn't find the toilets, although they are there, I didn't see any signs.

Such a beautiful place to visit. There are narrow boats to have a go in taking you over the viaduct built by Thomas telford. He's the same person who built the worlds first famous Ironbridge. The nearby villages are lovely with the river dee running through the town. You also have the train station. You can do white water rafting nearby. We went into an amazing cafe serving hot or cold food. I went for the hot pork bap with stuffing /onion/and apple sauce. Amazing. I also took a steak pie and sausage roll. Also amazing tastes. This place was called chatting. 1st class with 5 stars food hygiene. Staff were very friendly and brought food to the table. Also really good for the disabled. I was offered a ramp to help me get in. In town the sign's for parking not clear at all. If your driving DOWN through town you can not see them so you end up driving all the way through town. Coming up through town they are as clear as day.

Beautiful place with plenty to do, friendly and informative staff, and great walks. Highly recommend getting the full ticket that gives you access to the house too - it’s really interesting and plenty of staff on hand to ask questions, as well as books and information stands/plaques. There are frequent guided tours of the gardens which are stunning, plus longer unguided walks around the grounds outside that you don’t need to pay for. I went for a walk to the “cup and saucer”, the paths are well maintained and walks clearly signposted.

A great place to visit. I went in May and then again in September. The house was interesting and had a lot to see. The gardens were colourful, and planting for the beds is seasonal, so different each time. The road in and out is narrow but has plenty of passing places.

One of the most beautiful national trust sites in country. Huge car park, good facilities and interesting house. Best to avoid public holidays and weekends as there will be many noisy and out of control kids running around.

Visited in August 2019, on the first day of my Wales holiday. Lovely National Trust house with the usual style, nice collection of arts, and the estate is very pretty. I had a lovely weather to enjoy and especially liked to walk around the garden and ground. It can be a good day out for everyone. Usual facilities are available, such as tea-room, shop, toilets, cafe.

Visited after doing the parkrun. I went back to the car, changed and re-entered with our NT cards. The house didn't open till 12.30 so we couldn't visit but we did see the the superb gardens and lakes then took a walk around the wider estate. Lovely views.

We had a lovely day, the guys and staff when out of their way to be helpful. They were very knowledgeable. A particular outstanding guide was Pat who helped us together with Paul, Helen and not forgetting Gareth in the shop. One of the best national trust we have been to. There's a lot to see and do.

Another historical beauty with lots to see in the house with a lot dedicated to the servants. Absolutely beautiful garden and plenty of open space and tables for picnics. Not on a grand scale, although well worth visiting. An upstairs restaurant, and, unfortunately, at the moment, the lift is currently out of use, but hopefully, that won't be for long.

This is a brilliant day out for both children and adults alike. We started off with lunch in the cafe. The food was delicious and a good size portion. Then a walk through the house and finally into the gardens. We clocked up nearly 5000 steps so enjoyment and fitness combined.

Had a fabulous welcome from an assistant named Oliver on arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed walking our dog through the woods - currently thronged with wild garlic and bluebells, followed by a peaceful stroll along the stream through the French Meadow. The formal gardens are spectacular with vibrant tulips, and there is blossom aplenty on the fruit trees. Beautiful!

One of the best trust properties I have visited. The house is spectacular and is so original. When you look at pictures from over 100 years ago the rooms have barely changed. Woodland walks are beautiful and lots of different options for those wanting a gentle stroll are a longer ramble. Gardens are beautiful and well kept. Highly recommend and last of all the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable.

I had acquired a free day family pass to a National Trust place of interest so whilst we were camping near Chester we decided on this one as we were close by that day. Absolutely lovely place. The gardens were beautifully kept. The house itself was amazing as everything in there belonged to the house and not brought in for authenticity. The staff were wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hrs here. I even took away some tulip bulbs for a small donation.

The extensive 18th century walled gardens are the highlight of a visit to Erddig. It features a canal, pond, orchard and formal garden. Lots of nice seating areas to enjoy the view back to the mansion house. Tour of the house was interesting and good coffee shop. Nice place to spend a few hours.

This is a fantastic house with beautiful gardens with lovely walks all round the Erddig estate. Restaurant was very good with a decent menu. The staff have great knowledge and stories about the house. Well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

We are NT members and decided to try Erddig. We love it there. The gardens are so lovely. A big lake with the well kept gardens around it. There is a wooded area to explore with children and quiet corners to sit in and relax. The house is so nice to explore and the Chapel is our favourite part.the volunteers are all lovely and knowledgeable.

One of the better National Trust properties. I love seeing how the downstairs operated as well as the normal upstairs rooms. The gardens are also kept nice although on this last visit we couldn't take advantage of them because of adverse weather.

A good day out. A very large house, and extensive gardens, plus a bookshop, and large gift shop. The house and furnishings are impressive. Beginning with a bakery, laundry room, kitchen with excellent kitchen range, food prep rooms, and moving on to a grand dining room, and reception rooms, even a music room (!), The silk bed curtains are masterpieces, and currently can be seen very close up. The walk through the house also visits the family chapel which is colourful and very fine, albeit a trifle restricted in terms of viewing it. Be sure to have a good few hours, as you will easily be able to spend them in a most enjoyable way.

Lovely place in a lovely setting the house is huge and worth a visit but no dogs in the house or formal garden. Food and drink available but VERY VERY pricey e.g. can of pop £2.30 and a sausage roll £4.70 and that is a small ish one so be warned. The grounds are huge and you can pass a day easily with your dog on the many trails and if your dog is like mine then it will be in the water. The trails are mostly dry but if you venture on to the small trails it can be muddy so decent footwear needed.plenty of parking but like all NT places it fills up quickly so get there handy. Make sure to go in every doorway you see to take a step back in time in the workshops. All in all a stunning setting with stunning views and every staff member we spoke with are lovely friendly and helpfull.

We were so excited to be returning here after 25 years. We were also disappointed, there wasn't a notification to inform us that access to many of the rooms were very limited. The rooms were incredibly dark so made reading about pictures etc difficult. The volunteers were very plentiful, knowledgeable and friendly.

A great place for a trip with family and friends. You need to check to see which parts of the house are open. Staff are friendly with lots of interesting facts to share. The gardens are great for a wonder. Lots of parking, cafe food nice.

Absolute treasure of a place! A really interesting place to visit with a beautiful house & gardens to explore. The Yorke family who owned the estate for genetations before donating it to the National Trust were unusual for two reasons, one most were vegetarians & two there are a number of servant portraits displayed in the servant quarters & even poems about them. We found the ladies of Erddig in each room extremely friendly & knowledgeable about the artifacts in each room, as I homeschool my son it was a very educational day trip. I would definitely recommend it is well worth a visit.

The Erddig manor and national trust is a must see if you're in Wrexham. The estate is enormous and you could easily spend all day walking the grounds. It is stunning and beautiful and the manor and garden tour are well worth it. The grounds have a restaurant as well.

Visited 13/11/2023 with family, utilising the family membership (great value for money!) This was the only national trust site open in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 due to high winds closing the other sites. There was plenty of parking available, and all areas were accessible with a child buggy. A great start was the free apples 🍏 🍎 available both eating/cooking to take away 👌🏽 Then to visit the ‘parlour’ can grab a great drink, pastie & brownie 👍🏽near to the gift shop and first floor restaurant (lift not working) all in same courtyard area. The main house is great to look around as the pictures show, plus great areas to walk around the lovely grounds. Worth visiting ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I have visited here a few times with our dog. My wife is disabled & uses a wheelchair or mobility scooter whenever we go out so coming here is ideal for her to enjoy a lovely country walk with the dog as the route is disabled friendly. The cafe is accessible & there is a disabled toilet. There are only about 6 disabled spaces so I recommend getting here early to avoid waiting. I also recommend the soft scoop ice cream cones. There is also doggy ice cream available.

Beautiful walks and lovely scenery and nice cafe, with amazing staff. The dogs loved swimming in the water as it was a hot day. Just one person who thought our dogs shouldn't of been there because they were too excitable and his weren't, obviously thought he owned it. Always one spoil sport 😡 But other than that it's a gorgeous country park to visit, we will definitely be going again minus the moron moaning at our dogs!.

A fantastic park to walk around. Walk around the river and take in the scenery.wild flowers to look at. There is plenty of seats on your walk around the park.as well as a cafe near carpark.

Great find after visiting a local garage, good toddler play ground and also a secondary larger one for older kids. Multiple walks and bike paths with interesting sculptures and monuments around to find. Bike rental and all ability bikes available. Good dog friendly cafe on site with nice cakes, food and dog ice cream. And all for £1 a day parking.

Went to enquire about cycles for all because my physio therapist told me they have recumbent bikes that I would be able to get on. Which they did and a very helpful guy got an electric recumbent bike out for me. It was great. I had to pedal a little which was fine then the electric kicked in. They are open Wednesday to Friday and it's £7 all day for their use. That's what I will be doing starting next Wednesday. There's a cafe and toilet there too I will be trying those next week. But so far excellent I can't fault the place 👍🤞🙏👌✌️

Lovely day out had a picnic, sat on one of the picnic benches plenty around, plus a play on the brilliant park where there was lots to entertain Llay side. Walked to Gwersyllt side for toilets as non on Llay side... beware very long walk with steep places didn't realise it was so far otherwise we would have driven round. Good job we had Google maps in walking mode so we could tell that we were heading in the right direction!!! Llay side is open all the time but the Gwersyllt side gates are locked at 4.45pm. we all had a refreshing lolly ice from the lovely cafe, staff were lovely in there very friendly bought a bar of chocolate for on the walk back... needed for energy!! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely walk around here today, very cool a lovely crisp autumn day walk. Cafe open purchased a takeaway hot chocolate and a slice of coffee and walnut cake, A beautiful place to stretch your legs and if needed some quiet spots can be found to clear your head and relax or let it all go. Good bike trails now I see for the adventurous lots of off lead dogs around today. Thankfully dogs don't worry me.x but a few people weren't so happy quite a few families out today enjoying the park and play area xx

Lovely open fields with heather and wild flowers, rich woodland, walking and bike trials, picnic facilities and ice-cream available. Various little sculptures and trail activities spotted around and along paths. Believe there is water somewhere here also, though we had a short visit and only covered a small area. Kids park and possible bike hire also 👌🏻 Parking shuts at 4:30pm so I arrive plenty early to allow time for exploring!

Love this place for family walks, nice length of routes for little legs. Things to see to keep kids engaged. Plenty of benches to stop and rest. Good play area and obsticle course area for kids. Good parking availability. The staff in the cafe are amazing and always smiling.

This is a great place to spend a day with a range of children of all ages. Lots to see and do. The free picnic area is such a bonus for families on a budget and such a rare find in family attractions nowadays. The staff are all really friendly, even when talking to the adults about the display items.

Had loads of fun taking our two year old on one of their 'toddler days'. Amused for hours with the play area and the storytime session. Lovely little cafe too.

Truly spectacular and special place. Our girl is only 1 1/2 but she loved every second. We'll definitely go when she's bigger and able to reach the tables independently. Get yourselves here!

A great concept and a fun and interactive place for the children to enjoy. I imagine most would recommend for small children or young families. Our group ranged from age 1 - 12 with the children, and they all seemed to enjoy it - the 12 year old took more fun in showing the younger children how to use the different stations. Things that would make it 5 ⭐ : * Although there is a lot of sanitizer about, no one was using it, and there were plenty of kids and adults with all this hands-on equipment. It was germ-central! Could really do with some dedicated staff to do a clean wipe-down throughout the day. The same could be said for the toilets which were great in their inclusive design, but were dirty and lacking soap and paper. * The picnic area with the lockers was great - not a lot of places encourage you to bring your own food, that also offer a café. Just a bit of a shame that it wasn't a decent café, and everything in there was overpriced, which would be fine if you could get a proper coffee, for example. * So close to being a good place to inspire curiosity around the sciences, but it would have been so much better if the scientific principles were explained behind each interactive station. 🧪🔭 All that said, it was an enjoyable afternoon spent there as a family, and would certainly revisit. 👍

Thank you to everyone working at Xplore! yesterday who helped to make my grandson's Space birthday party a very special one. The look on the children's faces as they counted down and launched their rockets they had made was wonderful. I would highly recommend Xplore for a birthday party, or even for just a visit. Loads of interactive exhibits which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

What a great place to visit. Lots of interactive exhibits to play with. We took our grandchildren ages 5, 3 and 20 months. The three of them loved it.

Absolutely blown away by how incredible this place is. Children really can learn at their own pace. There is such variety in each of the hands on activities. I loved how things weren’t over explained too- children can do the discovery then look for the reasons. As parents/ carers, you can bring in as much or as little science as you feel is appropriate. Emma did the bubbles theatre demo and she was brilliant. Full of energy, getting everyone involved, and her explanations were pitched just right. She had an answer for everything she was asked. The children I brought (7m & 10f) were still on a high tonight telling their mum & dad what they got up to today and how much they loved it. Overall an amazing experience

Took our 7 Yr old boy and our 13 Yr old daughter came under protest too. The place was clean and lots to do for younger children. It was classed as busy when we were there however we had plenty of time to look at everything and didn't feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend for younger children, a good starting place to learn about science, my 7 Yr old really enjoyed it Would take him again.

Brilliant little science museum all on one floor with plenty of space for kids to wander around and interact with whichever exhibit/activity they fancy. Great fun and good for 2 hours at a push. Really reasonable gift shop too.

Fantastic exploration of science for kids and adults to join in. Our 9 year old and 6 year old both enjoyed it. We were there for 4 hours and could have easily stayed longer. Make sure you see the show, as it has some great interactive points for kids and adults.

It is Ok, but I was expecting a bit more. Scientific show was a hit with my child. Some activities were interesting even for adults. There were hardly any people, but it's probably due to a good sunny weather.

Quiet a good day out but most things were are bit old for our son (3 years old) he did have fun building things and the staff were very friendly and interacted well with the kids. Only got 3 stars as a lot of the games etc have not been changed in years, although they are very well maintained, it would be nice to see a range of new activities. We really enjoyed the show.

The perfect place for curious children, my son absolutely loves the science centre we have been taking him since he was 2 and every time we go he discovers something new or a different way to interact with the displays, last year we had his 3rd birthday party at xplore and the whole team made it absolutely perfect and took all of the stress out of a childrens party! Our group was ranging from babies to 10 year olds and everyone (adults included) raved about the centre afterwards they all interacted with the displays and experiments in different ways, i would highly recommend them for a childrens party.

We walked from the country park to the aquaduct. Was a lovely park with cheap parking and facilities. The walk along the was peaceful. A little over grown for a good view of the river itself. Lots of wildlife. The dog enjoyed it. Fantastic view from the top of the aquaduct.

I really like this place, plenty of choices for lovely walk or just relax. Nice coffee spot as well with great view on Dee Valley. I definitely recommend trail to Aqueduct, very easy and so nice place to relax, enjoy to see beautiful nature.

First visit here as a stop driving home from a holiday. We were there midweek so it was very quiet passed less than 5 people in the park. It is only £1 to park for the whole day so we walked up onto the Pontcysyllte aqueduct and along the canal for lunch by the Telford pub. Beautiful area that is obviously well cared for by the locals.

Ty Mawr Country Park is beautiful with interesting trails to walk. There is a small animal farm for the children and plenty of places to play. There is a Visitors Information Centre and a great Cafe serving lots of different food and drinks. There is also an ice cream parlour. The views of the viaduct are fantastic and great walks by the River Dee. It is also possible to follow a trail to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which is a World Heritage Site. My wife and I are so lucky to live here.

Great place to spend a few hours. Plenty of parking,which at our last visit was only £1 for all day. Dogs need to be kept on a lead,as animals,such as sheep,goats and other livestock are kept in pens in the park.Toilets are available and there is an ice-cream parlour and picnic area.The short walk around the park is on hardstanding paths and not too demanding. Lovely views of the river and the stunning aquaduct.Overall,a nice afternoon out.

Small car park (especially when people don't park straight). Costs £1 all day, can pay cash or by app. Toilets clean. Cafe looked nice - didn't use. Tarmac paths to walk round the park, it isn't a long walk, good views of river and viaduct. There is a walk to the aquaduct - currently the walk alongside the river isn't accessible, it's under water. We walked through the housing estate to another path. This isn't signposted.

Great day out. Nice views, good walk and a few animals to see. Been here a few times with my wife. Great for kids too and a perfect picnic spot. Only a pound for parking all day too so no need to rush

Lovely place between 2 iconic bridges. Cafe excellent- staff very helpful Only criticism is car parking. Lots of signs to download Just Park app. I got scammed doing this so be careful to download correct app. There is a payment machine by the Cafe which I wish I'd seen before I attempted to download the app.

I beautiful park to visit in Wales plenty of trails looking at beautiful scenery. It has an animal area for children, a wonderful little cafe and good parking. Would definitely recommend a visit

Very quiet and beautiful place. Amazing view of the railway viaduct. The walk along the Dee to the Aqueduct was relaxing. Be warned, it can be a bit muddy. Parking was also reasonable, not the usual tourist rip off. I would recommend using the machine to pay. Another parking app 😠, no thanks.

Amazing country park!!!! Only £1 for all day parking, is this real? You have everything you need there, a nice cafe with a reasonable price, a toilet, a playground, a football pitch, a river, a walking path & a stunning view that you will never forget. We were so surprised by how stunning the view is to overlook the bridge and the farm field. No need a long distance walk from the car park and the view is just right there. There are tables there you can have your picnic. We went down by the river to have a splash and it’s very cooling. Kids had so much fun there. We will definitively go again when we next around. We haven’t even made it to the little farm to see the animals. Cafe was good, we had a sandwich and a drink. Not pricy and it’s freshly made, we enjoyed a lovely family day out there.

St Giles in Wrexham is worth visiting if you are a visitor or a local alike. Very old church with tombstones engraved into the pathways in the courtyard. The interior is in good condition and is well maintained. It is free to enter but if you want make a donation £5 minimum there’s a card reader that you may use at your own discretion. Volunteers in the church are friendly and willing to assist as well.

A beautiful and overlooking church overlooking Wrexham. Granted, it’s not as imposing or grand as York or Westminster but it has a quaint and peaceful atmosphere within and around the church grounds. Admission is free but please do donate to this wonderful place if you can.

An absolutely stunning church inside and out. It is absolutely packed with history stemming from the 12th century and has naming ties to Yale University as well as many connections to the international community. A must visit when in Wrexham.

We attended a christening recently and it was such a wonderful setting and the vicar took a lovely service. Limited parking could be an issue.

St Giles church, Wrexham, is one of the "Seven Wonders of Wales", noted for its 136-ft high three-stage tower (1506) with four corner turrets and minor pinnacles with sculpted figures of saints. History The earliest church on this site was built in the 11th century, but in the late 15th century it was completely rebuilt, possibly under the patronage of the powerful and wealthy Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry Tudor, Earl of Richmond (Henry VII). Tudor symbols abound, with the Tudor rose and portcullis appearing on the exterior and interior of the building.

Beautiful church in Wrexham that rightly gets its fair share of visitors. I particularly loved the angels on the ceiling and the stained glass window memorial to the Welsh Fusiliers is a beautiful piece of work. The volunteers were happy to answer questions. I loved the fact that daffodils had been placed on the graves for St David's Day, lovely touch.

There are several things to like about this parish church in Wrexham. Firstly the sense of community with a small but friendly refreshment area. I loved the doom paintings from the 16th century and font from a similar time period. Amazing that they are still there after all this time, although the font was lost for about 150 years! Good stain glass windows and memorials. Well worth a visit!

Great little museum in Wrexham that gives you an insight to it's local history and heritage. There was a small display of Welsh football with Wales legend John Charles golden boot and Aaron Ramsey's No.8 Wales shirt. Nice displays about the Acton dog and links to Roman history. It has a children's room, cafe and toilets. Some rooms are a little dark and make it difficult to photograph the displays.

Getting into a museum after the last year and a half,was,in itself a treat but the Roman Holt exhibition was all you expect and more.Plenty of information and leaflets and games for kids too.Much to learn and take away to follow up about the long life of historical sites as well as this site in particular.A lot of work has been done in very trying times and the result is something worth seeing.Big coffees afterwards outside the friendly cafe.

Interesting exhibit and nice coffee shop. They could make it clearer that it is a museum and library. I want sure until I walked into the forecourt. No tickets required.

A regular visitor to this fabulous museum with rotating interesting exhibitions and its free entry. The cafe is a must too with a good selection at a reasonable price. It's my go to place when ever I visit Wrexham for a large good pot of tea!

It's a small museum. It's a good place for visitors who would like to study the history of Wrexham. For me, I had spent 15 minutes there.

A lovely town with great history and a wonderful football club. The town centre is a walking distance from the Train station.

The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, aiming to answer any and all questions you might have. Lovely cafe with a nice range of food. Enough things to keep people of all ages interested.

What a great little museum, I've only lived here for two years, and would have never thought to visit. The gift shop has some different and well priced gifts too. Decent branded bottled drinks and yum cakes in the cafe.

First time for me. We won too. Well ran and clean Went into main hospitality and was looked after well. But beware its in the middle of nowhere and the last race finishes you can't buy a drink to celebrate winners.

Visited today to drop some race goers off for an afternoon or racing. It is situated in a lovely area and on the way to it to pass a beautiful little quaint village that is Bangor-On-Dee. Upon arrival whether in coach or car you are shown your area by the gents on the gates. Very helpful staff who guide and inform you. Once parked you make your way to go through the course gates. Also there is an enbankment that people set up tables, chairs, gazebos and enjoy the day and has a great view of the track. Races started about 1.20pm and last race was 5.40pm. Getting out of the carpark after last race can be manic with vehicles leaving and taxis arriving but it is all marshalled brilliantly. All in all a good day out, food prices are a bit high but then that is the norm at places like this. There are race meetings throughout the year so check out their website to keep informed

My first visit to the racecourse on 14th May and what a lovely place. We were blessed with fabulous weather. The view of the horses was first class with easy access to the course, parade ring and winners enclosure without having to go through lots of gates and checks. Bars and food prices were reasonable and good service for the amount of people who were there. Lots of bookies to choose from. A very well run meeting. Will definitely return. Recommended 😀😀😀

Always a top class day out, beautiful race course with fantastic natural views of all the race course. Affordable admission charges and excellent facilities. If you're an owner lucky enough to have a runner, then it's a 5⭐ experience. Ten out of ten.

Came for the family fun day in August bringing my little sister for her first time. This place is amazing and very small and comfortable for kids compared to the larger courses. The staff were absolutely fantastic with a good selection food/drink choices which were reasonable priced. Will be back again for sure!

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, it's not like the hustle and bustle of a Cheltenham and is very family friendly without the massive crowds. Food and drink are reasonably priced for a race course.

Was in middle of know where BUT it was a fabulous day out. Got so close to horses and jockeys. Fish and chips were plenty and only £8. Need a closer ladies toilet. Friendly place to visit

i mean, a bit of an odd one really, had some great experiences in this cinema by far it is not at all a bad cinema however the prices are a tad bit extortionate - oh, also, they do just seem to let anyone into this cinema as halfway through watching the batman movie, a drunken male entered our screening and started throwing verbal abuse at people, just wondering why he was let in? otherwise this cinema good i like the popcorn thanks, that man was way too intoxicated to be let into a cinema screen please sort out your security, good thing id already seen the movie once before otherwise it would've entirely ruined the riddlers jail cell scene

Limitless is a must, so works out excellent value if you go twice a month minimum like myself. Staff are all nice and the toilets are kept clean. When I go it's usually quiet (good for me, probably not good for Odeon), and can always get a good seat. One time I got there early and the screen lights were all on, and when I tell you the seats need a clean, they all do. Wish I never knew to be honest. Nevertheless, screen and sound are solid (not the best ever, but for £15 a month I'll take it). Good variety of films shown. Sometimes annoying teenagers chatting in there. Might be helpful to have staff check more often, as I have had to save a few people in there with my shushing. Food is obviously overpriced, but that's every cinema in the country. So just take your own food if you cannot afford it.

Cinema itself was fine, although Costa alarm was going off as we left. Eagles meadow looking rather run down and the car park is ridiculous with just one pay machine. It's a set fee after 6.30, so why not be able to pay upon arrival?

Visited many times, including tonight. Staff are very friendly, and areas are clean and fairly priced for tickets. Food and drink can be expensive, however, you can take your own.

The cinema was lovely and clean, great price for the film. However the queue for the food and drinks was ridiculous! A better system needs to be implemented, all I wanted was an ice cream and there was a queue of about 30 people who were buying drinks and hotdogs.

It was really easy to book our tickets online, which made them even cheaper. Paid a little extra for premium seating. They were worth the extra money and really comfy. Prices for food was really reasonable, and if you booked them using the screen, then you could just collect vs. Waiting in the long queue. Great service.

Great for film choice, tickets online are only £5, food and drink are still a little pricey, but the actual cinema we visited looked like it needed a really good clean, the seats were stained and on looking at others they were too, I completely understand it is used many times a day everyday but it put me off wanting to go back, could do with a good steam clean. Staff were very nice and helpful too.

Purchased tickets on line and arrived at the cinema Second floor at Eagles meadow shopping centre wrexham.. Don't worry if you have mobility issues.. There is a lift available.. Also access to the cinema is wheel chair friendly.. The cinema has a number of screens showing various films.. A Café on the ground floor with the screens on the second floor.. Again escalater and lift available.. Seating area and snack shop on the second floor along with toilet facilities.. Enjoyed the experience of the big screen and paid a little extra for the prime seating Very comfortable.. Recommended

Need to up their game , messaged them twice about our experience last week, Hoover left in the middle of the floor in the cinema room , and they don’t check on the rooms as 3 youngsters were allowed to just mess about the whole time during the film, when we left all staff were just talking together

£5 ticket, easy check in straight at desk to go in! Easy booking, drinks and food as we've overpriced but not hard to prepare and take your own! Was pleasantly surprised by amount of people in there! Saturday night well spent!

I was given a milkshake with 2 scoops of choc brownie, and 1 scoop cookie dough when I had ordered 2 scoops of cookie dough and 1 scoop choc brownie. Otherwise it was perfect. :)

I'm a frequent visitor to Wrexham Odeon and it's always a good experience. Efficient staff, good screens and prices. Also a surprisingly good range of films - all the latest major releases but they will also put on special screenings around events (eg they played all the Lord of the Rings films recently, and all the Christopher Nolan Batman films on "Batman day" this year).

Great cinema as long as you don't eat or drink there. £48 for 4 med popcorn and 4 small soft drinks.

Surprised how quiet it was when we visited on Wednesday afternoon. No issue at all. We'll go back there soon.

1st time going to this venue & it will be my last. Bought tickets & snacks online prior to visit. When we arrived they had sold out of the merchandise I had already paid for as they do not account for online sales. This led to a disappointing start to my 5 year old surprise! Then I had to pay for more snacks & wait for the refund from the 1st order. Seats are too cramped even in priority seating for the same price you get a recliner at the vue.

it's a local cinema with the usual sale items. comfortable and the staff are great. always try and make an effort to go. it's sadly a case of use it or lose it.

We booked a hard standing pitch with EHU. Location of our pitch was a little odd on the corner of two paths but on the plus side was close to toilet/shower block. Felt a lack of privacy. This may have been due to visiting out of main season so everything wasn't in full bloom. Allowed to have BBQ but no fire. The facilities were immaculate, heated and very clean. Showers were great with hot water. Great pot wash area. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The site was well maintained and tidy. Nice woodland walk. The retail area was disappointing as not many units were open, not sure if that's due to visiting on a Sunday and before the main season starts. We felt this is definitely best suited as a family orientated location. Excellent value for money and use of swimming pool also included.

We stayed for our first ever trip in our camper van here with our two boys and dog. The site is stunning, very well kept good size with enough to do to keep the whole family entertained. The clubhouse/restaurant was nice, dog friendly too, the staff in there were great with the kids and it was very well priced. The staff were very good and helpful throughout the site. The pitches are good sizes and ours was a decent one with nice views. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Safari tent Just back from a long weekend at Plassey, we had a lovely time. Safari tent was fantastic, immaculate, bedding and towels all lovely clean and fresh, beds where comfy, hot tub was the cleanest I have ever seen and was checked 3 times a day. The site itself is really clean and tidy, with lovely friendly staff. We ate at the BLK sheep Bar, and the food was fabulous. We really enjoyed our relaxing weekend and can't wait to visit again xx

Stayed in one of the lodges over new year. The lodges were immaculate, well equipped and clean. The hot tub was fabulous. If had to fault them then I would say a little on the small side but suited us. The site is well kept and the staff really friendly. Would highly recommend.

We have motorhome and absolutely loved our stay. Lovely welcome, perfectly kept site. Facilities were good, pool added bonus, golf, fishing, shopping all in one. Amazing dog walks and field. Sadly had to cut our stay short due to home emergency but will remember this holiday. Thanks Plassey x

A lovely site well managed with great fully serviced pitches. Spacious areas and great golf course for those who desire it. There are a range of shops and two eateries. Access good for travelling with caravans and motorhomes also a range of accommodation to rent too.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at The Plassey. A very warm welcome in reception and then shown to our pitch by a friendly team member. Various touring pitch types to choose from when booking. All are spacious and most are hard standing, so you will need rock pegs for awnings. Facilities were very clean during our visit, showers were hot. There is a laundry room on-site, a very well maintained swimming pool, small shop, badminton court, table tennis area and a games room. Near the retail village is a children's play area. This is our third visit and we will definitely return here. Thank you 😊

Hi returned from long weekend yesterday. Thank you so much for making our stay special. The site and facilities are worthy of the 5 star rating. Everywhere so clean. The staff were brill nothing was too much trouble. They too deserve 5 out 5 star rating. By the way the food in the Haybank was top dollar. Again big thank you to all for making this our special place. Highly recommended for all ages.

Really nice site. We'll maintained. Warm welcome on arrival from the team. Quickly booked in and shown to our pitch (campervan). Good sized hard pitch with views across neighbouring farm land. Very nice. Can call staff if any problems 24hours a day (!). Good range of facilities on site from a range of shops, activities and coffee/ eating places as well as an indoor heated pool. Great pool. Well watched by staff. Went with grandaughter for two days and plenty for her to do. Showers were not quite as good as other sites we've been to but no real is due and would definitely stay here again

This is a 5star camp facility, we have only scratched the surface & already purchased a caravan here, looking forward to exploring the whole site, have not graded the service but from what we have experienced today, site is pristine, manicured lawns & flower areas staff friendly, had a late lunch, which was very good!! Service was excellent, can't wait to have memorable times here, & am sure the site staff will have a large input to that

Our first visit but we will return. The site is set in beautiful surroundings and it has everything you might need. The staff are so helpful and friendly from the moment you check in. The facilities, cafe, golf clubhouse/restaurant, swimming pool (though too small for adults to really get a good workout, was welcome before breakfast) and the general site are all immaculate and a credit to the owners. Great quiz and karaoke and big money prize games were fun and tasty guest beer too. As seniors with no children we didn't find them to be a problem in any way but some of the dog owners could have been more vigilant (I don't need to explain further and the staff member kindly disposed of the evidence for me). Next time though, we will find out if there's a difference when we avoid school holidays. Thank you to all your team.

My wife and 16 month old had a little holiday here recently which was fantastic. It was put of season so the site was really quiet other than people stopping in the lodges. There’s a little shopping village on site which even had a barbers and a beauty parlour. There’s a heated indoor swimming pool which we had all to ourselves one afternoon which our little one loved. The site is absolutely immaculate and all the staff are really nice and helpful. We ate out one night at the golf club and which was decent enough and well priced. The hot tubs are great, the lodges are well spaced out with lots of space between so plenty of privacy, we requested a lodge in the corner close to the field so my daughter could see the animals in the field which was nice. I would definitely return but next time would choose to stay in a safari tent as the lodges were a little bit on the small size for us and the little one.

Having stayed in the luxury lodges for 2 consecutive weeks for business, I can confirm it's a welcome break from staying in a hotel room. The lodges are very well maintained, clean with beautiful views onto countryside. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help and answer questions. The park itself seemed very quiet during my stays.

Beautiful well kept site. Staff are friendly and informative. Everywhere is kept very clean and tidy. The Stables coffee shop is excellent also the Hay Bank clubhouse for food/drink is worth a visit. Very friendly atmosphere. Having a swimming pool is a bonus. It has an adults only time for an hour every day. There is a nine hole golf course. Would certainly recommend a vist for weekend or longer.

Nice family camp site. Static vans, some permanent large caravans, and 3 different fields for tourers. Well kept 9 hole golf course, driving range and a small pitch and put. Staff all excellent. Washing facilities spotless, but only 3 showers in our block, so some waiting. Small shopping area with lovely cafe. Golf clubhouse for evening hot food. We did not use the swimming pool, but looked like it was enjoyed by families. Small children riding round on scooters and bikes, but did not cause a nuisance.

Had a long weekend here at the beginning of October. Weather was really good low 20*. Lots too do there. Large fully serviced pitches. Log cabins,static vans,Swimming pool,craft shops,badminton,pool,restaurant,fishing,golf course and plenty other things too do. Toilets and showers spotless. The whole place is really well kept.

This is a large and nice park with a lake; it's perfect for a peaceful walk. The daffodils are in bloom now.

Nice local park. Good wide open spaces for dogs to run free. Plenty of space for picnics. Not too many benches or picnic tables but spaces to make do on the grass.

Been going there since I was a child and these days it’s really well cared for. My dad has an oak tree planted there in recognition for the work he did for the community. The playground is lovely and fenced off, there is a little fenced off dog park. The park really is a gem.

A pleasant place to visit with a beautiful lake around it are benches to sit on and feed the ducks, for the children there is a play area and dog walkers will find the open grass areas perfect for their pooch. Acton park also boasts a wonderful garden area with giant standing stones. Fishing is permitted as well, as long as you have the required licence. If you are looking for a refreshing walk/ break Acton park is well worth a visit.

Lovely walk round the park taking in the lake and the Sweet chestnut tree voted the best tree in britain 2023.

Lovely area to visit with a children's park, plenty of Benches, nature and scenery to take in. Paths for walking as well as plenty of grass for dog walks too. Always a nice relaxing trip here with lots to take in.

Massive, beautiful park with a lake home to various fish and birds such as ducks and geese, in the middle of the park. There is a large, modern playground and a Japanese themed section with a nice Torii gate. From personal experience, you can go anytime of the day, and in the winter months, in the evening a wonderful mist rises from the lake. The park is home to some fishing spots upon the lake which you can hire for weeks at a time. The park is also host to the best British Tree of 2023.

Great park and children's park. Love the pond full of birds. The secure dog play area is a bonus for dog owners. Japanese garden needs some attention. Members only fishing pods are great. Free parking & Disabled parking is available here. No public toilets.

We took a rather pleasant walk around the lake, this time of year Autumnal colours are just beautiful. Nice little enclosed playground for the children. Lovely to see the ducks coots/moorhens. Plenty of space to take a picnic. Dog walking area.

Bellevue Park is such a lovely place to walk. They have free music events on in the summer.

Took our dog for her morning walk here on Sunday morning. Sun was shining but it was still a little chilly, still had a nice time bimbling around whilst the dog snuffled where ever she wanted. Not too busy, but several other dogs and their owners also enjoying the place. Saw quite a few squirrels and many birds flitting about. I believe there are public toilets in the park, but I didn't use them during this visit.

Such a lovely park. Good for dogs, children or friends - Lots of squirrels around and lovely flowers in the summer - 2 play areas, tennis courts, football and basketball area, bandstand and outdoor exercise equipment - lots of bins, very convenient But be aware no toilets or food options. In the summer there is usually an ice cream van though 🍦 Highly recommend this park

Nice park that's a short walk from Wrexham town centre. It's got large grassed areas, football pitches, bowling greens, children's play area, tennis and basketball courts, community centre and carpark.

2 lovely play areas, 1 for smaller toddlers, 1 for older children. Kept the 2 year old occupied for a solid 2 hours.

Peaceful park, well maintained. Ideal for dog walking or keeping fit. Free outdoor gym, which is well worth trying and suitable for most age groups. Tennis and basketball ball courts and infant/ junior play areas make this park an ideal place to visit. A real secret gem of Wrexham!

Generally good. It's not an expensive place, charging £13 for a family of 4. The slide and rapids were on. The place has a hot tub also. The kids loved it there. I wish they'd turn the heating up by 1c - it would make a big difference I'm sure.

There is plenty of car parking, but times and prices are a bit odd. Pool is a decent size with one wide lane for doing lengths. Flume and rapids are a bit tame. Good cafe and very helpful staff. Coffee is good. £4.65 per person but free entry for watchers. Easy to get to from the A483.

Great value for money, for us, 4 children and 2 adults it was less than £15. It was clean all round and safe lockers to use for our clothes and valuables. Good variety of pools too so something to suit toddlers to adults.

Toilets could do with a good clean, the water for the showers could be longer, not enough pools under 2.00 meters open at all times or are available for young /none strong swimmers. Only left with baby pool and the 2.00 meter pool 😔 Could do with an upgraded adding more pools and and slides etc.. Would also be nice adding more free swim days too

Glad Ive joined this leisure centre. Majority of the staff are so welcoming and friendly however there is one woman on reception whos customer service skills need looking into! On two seperate occasions she has been unfriendly and rude. From speaking to other members shes like that with everyone 😔

A nice gym, well presented and great staff BUT over the past 6 months it has got extremely busy. People using the weights for far too long (30 min max) but some are on these for 45 mins, younger gym goers (groups of 4/5) chatting whilst using the benches etc and taking up a lot of workout time for other users. And why aren't staff keeping an eye on time spent on benches/equipment etc? I don't have a lot of time and my workouts are taking over 80 mins because I'm waiting around for equipment. Unfortunately I won't be using Waterworld gym now for this reason.

The best swimming area in the town. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. It has three type of pools. I took my baby and they provided good environment and we enjoyed the time there.

Nice clean gym although on the small side and some of the material in the equipment is taped over to hold it together. Changing and shower facilities are good although again it’s on the small side. Choice of classes is good and better than Total Fitness and membership is cheaper with no contract which is a plus.

Good swimming baths but i just heard water babies so too take your baby to a swim sesh they want 160 quid upfront for 10 weeks. Thats disgraceful. Pay per sesh not good enough, they want your money. Not much care for ya kid just want your money. If you dont like it? Tough you paid 10 weeks upfront. Gentrification maybe.

I have always loved Wrexham baths from when I was a child and tried to stay loyal and continue taking my own child but it’s just too cold. I took my 2 year old a few times but his lips were shaking and turning blue after a few minutes. It’s such a cold pool and when I have tried to speak to the staff about it they say it’s at the regulated temperature! Well it’s too cold! We go to Plas Madoc now. It’s lovely and warm there! And cheaper for a warmer pool!

Absolutely great place to go and the jacuzzi is lovely and big and very warm and the ring slide is fun for adults and kids just a like highly recommended and grat staff very polite and helpful and supportive

This is mine and my boys favourite swimming pool. £14 for a family which I think is a very reasonable price esp at the moment with cost of living and that is for as long as you like between 9-5 and Sundays too. Free parking after 11. Facilities are clean and smell clean-who doesn't like that chlorine smell! Our favourite part is the lazy river it's so much fun. Boys of course love the slide. Water temps can be abit up and down. Sometimes its a lovely warm temp sometimes it's freezing but really doesn't matter much.

When the pools are warm, it's amazing. When the pools are cold it's very disappointing

Excellent swimming pool! Very clean and well kept. Excellent slide, lazy rapids, bubble pool, and kids pool! Perfect for family trip!

Visitor centre and toilets closed contrary to information on here. Grounds open though so ok for a place to walk or picnic. Good access to footpaths and bridleways

Visitor centre and toilets shut on 6th may 2023, we had a lovely walk around, lots of paths, woods, waterways, interesting relics, other mines nearby £1 to park all day, please don't drop Litter or let dogs chase wildlife. Board with info and walking Trails on by the carpark and picnic benches and small play park.

Lovely place but be prepared for paying £1 for parking as there is no signal there so you won’t be able pay by phone if you have no coins

Brilliant yet very muddy walk through the woodlands. Take the route past the carved log pigs for a scenic ramble following the stream or take the path past the visitors centre staying on the higher route to see the waterfall. Lots of seating & picnic benches around the visitors centre & car park. Toilets are on site when open.

Beautiful setting though in October the centre seems to be closed. Well maintained with some play equipment for toddler to young teens. Good place to park if doing local walks.

Only managed to walk on the right handside path, was a great long walk with lots to do. Lovely little park at the start for younger children but not that great for over 5s. Lots of picnic beaches to sit on by the car park too.

Nice place to walk with a beautiful waterfall on the trail. It isn't very well sign-posted through, I had to drive around a little bit to find the centre and parking. Needs better signage!

Lovely walk along the river. There are steps along the way so be aware. £1 parking for all day.

Such a lovely walk, got a little lost so would maybe suggest having some signs as you walk but all in all we had a great time. Waterfall was peaceful, managed to sit and enjoy a bite to eat! Will be returning with the doggo again

The market area was so cute! Had lots of things to look at from self-owned market stalls, and there is a public gallery which changes exhibitions every 4 months. As it was our first time visiting Wrexham, everyone we interacted with there were lovely, will definitely visit again!

Lovely environment for a catch up, plenty of places to sit without being too close to others. Great food and drink choices.

Popped in for some lunch, lots of choice as always. Was pretty busy but managed to get a space at a table. Food was good and a nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go again

Food, culture, chill-space and parking! What’s not to like and it’s right next door to Xplore Science Discovery Centre too! Today I viewed the absolutely superb International Print Exhibition at Oriel 1 / Gallery 1 — there until January 2024.

A great indoor market with a interesting layout, comes with several cafe choices, a good variation of market stalls, toilet facilities and a kiddies activity area. It's topped off ( quite literally ) with a multi storey car park.

Visit here often, usually to grab something to eat from one of the food outlets. Pied pieper is nice enough, portion size is abit small in my view. Wing king is my current favourite, I had Korean wings and salt and pepper hash browns. Awesome flavour, nice crunch on the wings. Salt and pepper hash browns are amazing. Best hash browns I've had. You won't be disappointed. Just desserts is always nice, I've had many things off the menu. Next time I visit I'll try the curry place, always smells good.

We’ve played at Ty Pawb a few times and it’s always a warm welcome! Good selection of classic food, some cool market stalls to peruse as well as an art gallery that usually has really interesting local and national work to explore. There are often events and workshops taking place so if you’re in Wrexham, this is a must-visit!

To be able to go from buying a carpet -D J Carpets are brilliant - and then have a delicious curry from the curry stall and pies to take home...all whilst sat on those incredible communal tables and looking at a new exhibition being hung in the gallery and kids coming in to buy sweets and others to buy wool...it's just a very special special place. Wrexham is very lucky.

Lots of little shops/stalls. Hadn't visited in years prior to this visit, I couldn't believe how much it has changed. Sat in the food court area at lunch time with some work colleagues, lots of different vendors / counters offering different food and drink choices. Great place to pop and visit.

Brilliant place. Went with work, and leisurely. Brilliant place to hold corporate events, and great place to shop in your free time. Unfortunately, didn't have lunch there, but there was a great quantity of selection of vendors. Parking was a little bit awkward, but that could be me not using multi story car parks that frequent. Maybe some additional signage would help, but otherwise, great place!

Brilliant arts hub in Wrexham. Open to ideas, community vibes, high end gigs, open mics, theatre, cinema, food court, stalls for everyone from haircuts and sweets to bespoke gaming experiences hot fresh meals and cold beer. There's gallery and multiple art spaces which the team host plenty of alternative gigs on as well as supporting local and national events and companies such as Dirty Protest, Focus Wales and Wrexfest.

love this place. The parking is cheap. the food stalls are epic. The bar sells good local pints and the shops are cool and unique. And they even have live music some evenings

I love coming to this place. My toddler is enjoying the play area in the gallery at the moment. And is great for getting nice food to eat. Have some great events here also.

The wool shop now takes card payments, this makes it easier to get what I want without going back and to, to the cash machine.

Fantastic little market style venue. Still developing and could do with getting more shops in now but those that are there are lovely. Fantastic, friendly people. Great for the kids to get involved with arts and crafts at weekend. Social food areas and a small but fantastic gallery. Do some pottery, have some food or a coffee, dabble at community painting, get your hair done in some amazing styles whilst your there for a great price. Love this place!

What a great place to walk the dog. Absolutely loved it here. Far bigger than I thought. So many little footpaths to explore off the main route. My pup certainly loved it...a paws-up from her. Small free car park. Will certainly visit again for sure.

Lovely walks really peaceful great place for the kids to go wild and burn off energy, spoilt a bit by youths hanging out smoking weed occasionally I know it's hard to control,have to re iterate it's not all the time but sometimes you can smell it from the car park !! Not nice especially when you have kids with you. Maybe occasional police patrols may help put them off a bit

Lovely walk around a great location, shame about the weather but enjoyed being out in the fresh air!

Lovely scenic area with lots of wildlife, plants and walking routes. But be careful as it's very easy to take the wrong path within the woods. Be sure to follow the main paths and take a picture of the map if you can.

Lovely little woods. I really enjoyed it with the dogs. The car park is small but plenty of street parking available. It's a hidden gem, worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our walk here, vast open woodland great for kids to explore and still be in view running through the rows of trees. The only disappointment being the play area we was expecting was gone when we got to the end of the loop so the kids weren't happy. Car park is small, but people were coming and going constantly so wouldn't wait long and I think you can park on the street outside. Definitely recommend here over a trip to somewhere like Delamere. Take a picture of the map because the paths were fairly hard to follow about half way around. Highly recommended and we'll definitely visit again.

Didn't even know this lovely wood was here! Lovely paths and walk, kids loved riding their bikes over the bumps and hills.

A pleasant circular walk. Places to sit and absorb the surroundings. I liked it!
