The food was really nice, so yes, do give it a go.. I did it as a gift for my husband and we both really enjoyed it..

A nice selection of beer and merchandise. What a little disappointed that the whole range wasn't available - particularly the Strong Pale Ale - the brewery shop should really have good availability at all times.

A very informative tour of Britain's oldest brewery. The tour guide made us welcome from the start and explained the whole brewing process and the history of the site. The tasting was great, and a tasty meal finished off a lovely evening. Well worth it!

I recently visited the Shepherd Neame brewery for an evening brewery tour and 2 course set meal. I would highly recommend this tour/dinner combination if you’re looking for something a little different. I learnt a lot of interesting facts about the process of brewing larger and ale but also about the company itself. We visited on a Friday and as no beer is brewed on that day, you can see the machinery up close without any workers around. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we finished the tour in the museum/ function room area which also shows off some old vehicles used for delivery back in the day! After the tour we were given a flight of beers to sample and a delicious two course set meal. Ours was chicken with risotto and asparagus followed by a fresh strawberry tart. Another free beer was included with the meal and the bar was open for anything else you may fancy. All in all a lovely evening in a pretty town learning some new facts about the oldest brewer in Britain! The tour is popular and would recommend buying way in advance, the menu appears to change with the seasons but all options looked lovely.

Mount Ephraim Gardens is a beautiful garden. It has a charming tea room to take refreshments after your garden visit. Mount Ephraim Country House & Gardens is a privately-owned family home in the heart of Kent, comprising over 800 acres of woodland, pasture, and a fruit farm. The Gardens and Tea Room will reopen on 1st April 2023 on Wednesdays to Sundays, and Bank Holidays, 11 am to 5 pm, until 30 September. The last entry into the Gardens on all opening days is 4 pm. They are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Large, well-laid out gardens with some brilliant views over Kent. We bought day tickets, reasonably priced at £9 each which gave access to all external areas. The house itself is available to book for accommodation, but we walked the gardens on a sunny day and enjoyed it immensely. For gardening buffs (like me) it is very interesting with plenty of landscaping views to admire and get ideas from. Well worth a visit and we will go again, but in a different season.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place with stunning, well maintained gardens, fountains, the lake and bridges. Different walking routes to choose from. Very good for photography and wedding venues and picnics. Big area for kids to explore. Great selection of cakes, sandwiches snacks and drinks at the cafe. Disabled parking spaces available. No matter how long you are going to spend there, you will want to come back again. We have really enjoyed our visit to this little gem!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Staff were above and beyond helpful and welcoming. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while, so I highly recommend adding to your booking. Stunning gardens and period property 👌 will be booking again.

We absolutely love it here !! Gorgeous place for a walk. Lovely cafe offering tasty food and drinks. Various different events during the period it's open. We loved coming and seeing the sheep here and doing various hunts around the grounds.

I have been to the special early opening day to see the snowdrops. Sadly as they said the silly amount of rain in a few days before the open day have damaged the snow drops sadly. Still a stunning walk round the ground and I will turn in the summer when to garden is in full flower.

This review is about our stay here on the garden wing. It was amazing. 6 double bedrooms, a lounge, snug, games room and well equipped kitchen. Enough grounds to get everyone lost if needed. This isn't the b&b or the pods, but they look excellent. If you want a weekend away in a stately home this the place. Fine points Arga, double oven, 2 freezers, 2 fridges, lots of china and cutlery. We managed roast dinner for 14 easily. A good family or friends venue

If you like gardens and a cup of tea, this is a great experience for you. The tour will probably take few hours, depending on how fast you're walking. Friendly staff, tea room and ample parking space will be making your visit more pleasant.

We visited Mount Ephraim Gardens simply because the place was quite close to where we were staying, and we were not disappointed. It is a charming, quiet, intimate garden with some Japanese elements, a rock/water garden, an arboretum, a mizmaze, a rose and a topiary garden with a lovely little tearoom. The terraced gardens are beautifully set on a hillside with lovely views over the quintessentially English countryside.

Magnificent gardens with a distinctly oriental feel. It's a relaxing way to spend half a day wandering around the trail past ponds, waterfalls, rock gardens and a large arboretum. The colourful grasses and perennials that form the Miz Maze are particularly enchanting.

Great gardens. Mixture of open spaces , rose gardens, an arbouritum, , a sort of maze ( called mis maze ) a lake and some ponds. Was hot on the day we visited, so the benches under the shade of the trees was quite welcoming. Stopped for a bite to eat and a cuppa , which was nice. Also lots of places to have a picnic And on the way out they had a few shelves full of plants. Wasn't too busy as we went on Sunday and plenty of parking. For lovers of gardens I would recommend.

The most beautiful gardens. Quite a steep climb up to the arboretum but we'll worth it. Rose garden, cottage garden, rockery and the most beautiful lake and smaller ponds. Lovely tea room which was very reasonably priced.

We loved the variety of fruit trees, information, miniature railway ride, superb circuit and value for money! Lots to see during our guided walk with a staff member. Very interesting indeed and certainly gets my thumbs up! 😀

Great place to visit, just off the A2 at Faversham. We had a lovely cooked lunch and sat outside on a Saturday afternoon. Good friendly service and good value. There were orchard tours amongst other events throughout the year, so we will return to do one of those soon.

We visited on Apple day and had a good time! There were tractor, miniature train and walking tours of the orchards, live music, falconry, archery, Apple demonstrations (tasting etc) as well as a range of food and craft stalls. The entertainment is more limited outside of the theme days. Well worth a visit and plenty to keep children occupied for a few hours.

Brogdale restaurant and farm shop. Selling tours of the orchards and gifts, main meals, tea and cake, local brews and Brogdale ciders. Major events and school visits available. Large car park and cycle storage. A table tennis table in the business yard is a nice addition to picnic area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We've been here twice now for the cherry festival and the knowledge of the guides always is absolutely astounding. They are so lovely, answering any and all questions as they take you around the stunning orchards come rain or shine!

Went there for an Easter egg hunt with my nephews. Lovely place and trees were all in blossom. There was ample parking and loads to see .

It’s one of the best experience we have been to. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and patient. Very well organised and you can tell how much they care and love those beautiful birds. My daughter and son who are 12 and 9 really enjoyed it and so did I. Thank you!! We must had 9 or 10 birds to handle and it was so much fun. A must go!!!

What a fantastic experience for a 7yo who is passionate about Owls. A truly hands on experience, and even in a small group sharing the birds, you feel part of each and every encounter. There is plenty of time to get to know the birds, and like all animals, they each have funny little personalities you can't help but adore as you walk around some magnificent gardens. We visited Mt Ephraim Gardens in October 2021.

We just had a great family experience doing the archery, axe throwing and falconry. Phoebe and Will were timely and organised all throughout and Aaron had lots of info about his birds. We enjoyed it all very much and are thinking about doing a more in depth session with archery. Highly recommend this experience.

Had an hours Archery booked for the 3 of us. The setting for the event is stunning, in the rural Kent countryside. The archery takes place in a wooded area. After a good safety brief we were let loose on the targets to get to grips with the bows. After a practice we walked through the wood shooting at several different size and shaped targets. Our instructor was very professional and had a good sense of humour.

Fantastic experience. Wife surprised me for our 10 year anniversary, great experience. Over 2hrs of axe throwing, cross bow and archery. Sean was a great tutor, very funny and made the morning extremely enjoyable. Would highly recommend and to also enjoy the grounds too as they are gorgeous.

Husband enjoyed a half day falconry experience and I was the spectator. Great being able to see these amazing birds so close up. Jo is very knowledgeable and passionate about his birds of prey which you can easily see with the connection he has with them. Plenty of chances for the participants and birds to be together and time went so quick

Fun experience, kinda need to get the hang of it in the first half if it’s your first time, but luckily there are loads of different games played that allow you to practice and brush up. Was about an hour long.

As a group of 30 year old adults, we had a fantastic time at Joe's Bows! It far exceeded our expectations. Had the place completely to ourselves and Joe was brilliant and very relaxed and we felt that the price we paid was very reasonable for an hour of fun. Started off with a brief lesson and aiming at some targets before moving around the forest and aiming at various different animal sculptures. Would 100% go back!

We had a brilliant time trying archery, crossbow and axe throwing. Very friendly and relaxing environment, the activities and different things to shoot were a nice variation from just hitting targets Phoebe was a great host, really made it fun and also gave very good advice on improving your aim

Met Joe and thoroughly enjoyed my 1 hour, outdoor, woodland archery activity. He demonstrated how to use the bow and arrow effectively and it felt good to have all the equipment. I did much better than I expected. Thank you Joe. 👍

Absolutely fantastic! The bird crew (mostly a family run business) knew their stuff and loved sharing their expertise with the group of 7 participants (plus a few observers / de facto photographers). They walked around the gorgeous Mount Ephraim Gardens grounds, getting the birds to fly back and forth between the guests' gloved arms. 5 birds in all (and a young falcon still being trained, which we didn't handle). Incredible seeing these animals close up, and Emma, Amelia & Megan were the utmost in passionate & engaging hosts.

Fabulous views of wildlife especially seabirds and Isle of sheppy. Nice footpath for walking around. Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and parking very limited.

Had a lovely walk. Reminds me of the very atmospheric scenes from wallander or any of the scandi noir shows There is a pay by mobile car park with a massive puddle filled pot hole , £2.50 week days £3.50 weekends, Lots of cars were parked along the road.

This is a great place for a walk with land on one side and sea on the other. The terrain is flat but there can be a good wind that blows the cobwebs away.

A small circular walk around a bird sanctuary and an excellent place to see wading birds at low tide. Has a cool boat graveyard near the south-east side.

A barren feel to the place until you stop and listen and let the tranquility settle in your mind. No public toilets that I could see. Lots of dog walkers. Everyone in the paths was friendly.

There is a rugged beauty here. It is peaceful, there is a ton of wildlife including hundreds, perhaps thousands of birds and good facilities. It is one of my dads favourite places in the world and incredibly peaceful.

Found this lovely garden in GW 2 for 1 book. Honesty box for entrance fee and light refreshments (coffee, tea, soft drinks, cake etc) provided in old stable block. 2 beautiful walled gardens (kitchen and main), surrounding areas and plenty of picnic spot opportunities. It's worth taking coronation walk to the revamped cricket pitch and Belmont Tower (Landmark Trust holiday accommodation).

Really enjoyed our visit-group of 3 lady friends. We visited to see the falconry display but also bought tickets for house and grounds, plus 2 visits to the cafe. A lot of it works on trust and honesty-garden only tickets are via an honesty box. Ditto, once the cafe closes for service, supplies are left out so you can make yourself a tea or coffee and pay in honesty box. The lovely guides were helpful and knowledgeable and one of our party chatted to one of the owners in the orangery. A lovely house to visit, such a warm and homely feel

Beautiful gardens all on the verge of bursting into spring colours. Lots of promise of what's to come in the next few months so a real must to return and see how the gardens transform over the season. Very peaceful and loved listening to the amorous singing of the frogs couring their females.

Had a super day, despite the dreary weather. Lots to see in the grounds and the self guided house tour was lovely. No one rushed us round, the guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. The service in the tea room was so good, we visited twice!

Lovely gardens. House was closed. There was no staff to help and the cafe was self service with a trust box. There is a lot to see in the well maintained gardens. Some produce and plants for sale, again with trust boxes.

I went to Belmont House for the first time recently. It was a lovely sunny day and fairly quiet. The grounds are very well kept and picturesque. The staff were very friendly and it is a nice place to visit. I took lunch with me, but there is a place there to get drinks. The toilets were clean and tidy. I really enjoyed the gardens. I will be going back to see inside the very grand house. The only potential problem is the very narrow roads that lead to the house. If you meet a vehicle coming the other way, there is very little room and the 'passing places' are in a very poor state with deep ruts. Quite hazardous.

Had a great few hours here The house is lovely and has lots of interesting things to see including the marvellous clocks of all kinds! Its very well kept and clean and bright. Firstly I would like to say the Gardens are absolutely beautiful. They are well kept and it was so lovely to walk around them on a beautiful day. I've never seen so many beautiful dragonflies in my life. However, 3 stars? There is confusion upon admission fees. I didn't book mine online, I turned up to find there is a small octagonal shaped building, called the “Tack Room” which is their so called pay point. I placed £20 in the pay point to cover the House & Garden tickets which are shown as Adults: £10.00 each both online and at their site. Upon arriving at the House we were asked to pay a further more £8 each? Baffled by this, I had explained I had covered the admission price back at the pay point, not to mention the prices are on the door of the house. Sadly they denied us entry and I was not going to pay a further more £16 for the two of us. The staff were friendly and their were no hard feelings. What is annoying is their management are fully aware of this but have yet to sort out this issue. Many have made the same mistake as I. This is why I am only giving the site a 3 star, despite being honest with my admission I didn't get to see the House that I had rightly paid for. So my advise would be, don't use the paypoint at the site, as you get no proof that have you have paid your admission fee. Make sure you book your visit online so you are covered and have proof that you have paid and what tickets you have purchased ie garden, garden and house etc.

Great place to come at any season. The areas so beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. House is closed unfortunately for winter. So, we will be definitely back there again. Gardens are open all year around from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm or until dusk. In general, we have spend an enjoyable time at gardens and surrounded area. There is self service at the cafe ( to purchase drinks, cakes or sandwiches) and the gardens ( if you want to purchase any plants). There are boxes provided for your to put money in. The car park is reasonable size and free of charge. Definitely recommend it!

Only had time to enjoy the gardens but looking forward to seeing the house. The trees are wonderful in a lovely park. Load of other plants and gardens. Silent about 2 hours roaming. Then desperately needed the cafe which had a limited food menu but was quite good. Plenty of choice for drinks. Lots of models McAfee of wicker of animals in the garden.

Beautiful grounds and wonderful house. We had a guided tour on a Sunday morning here, and our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info on all the details. The house is in an amazing state inside and out, and there is lots of furniture to admire. The gardens are beautifully kept and the whole place is so peaceful and grand!

Wonderful park in west Faversham for relaxing or walk your furry friend. The park includes the gunpowder works buildings and it is fairly interesting exploring the ruins and read the signs on the site's history. The trails are fairly easy to walk and well signposted. The lakes are great but be aware that in summer there may be a lot of mosquitoes. Get your wellies as well as some sections will be fairly muddy.

was a beautiful calm walk with lots of information and exploring to do was a little muddy but easy to deal with most paths are wooden and you have 3 yes 3 choices of where to walk guided by posts with different coloured bands round them depending on terrain and ability, so very well suited for many different abilities and ages ,so bravo 👏🏼 to them , we took a 13,14 & 17 year old out for this walk and they had fun with reading the information boards & online there is an educational pack of History,a checklist and mini beasts adventures ,(bug hotels , beehives on site) so go check that out too , for us it was a good couple of hours spent out in the fresh air parking was reasonably easy there is onsite parking and maybe a little difficult in sunnier weather and may have to find alternatives, highly recommend to all ages and has the educational experience as well happy travelling

Such a peaceful place. Hot & cold drinks available at weekends. Four different routes to take around the site. Red, Green and Blue are harder than the easiest Yellow route. Toilets 🚻 available.

Had a lovely walk with the dogs. Free car park though be aware the gates are locked quite early , though there are plenty of signs to warn you. Toilet . Bins and picnic benches dotted about . Plenty of route markers and info boards .

Easy to find, lovely place to take the dog, well kept pathways, some lovely wildlife to see and information boards en route with birds to look out for. Swans, moorhens, ducks, song thrush, finches etc to see. Nice walk and would return.

Lovely place full off history about making gun powder, the process, and about the buildings, that are now derelict. Can also see alot of work has gone into the footpaths to make them clear and safe. Great for a family day out and also dog walks.

We lost our drone in the lake but it was a beautiful lake. And had a lovely walk around the country park shouting ribbons and mushrooms

We love it here, nice quiet walks. Disabled toilet. Small carpark that is free to park in. History boards to read. Ducks and swans to spot. Very shady. Benches for picnics. You will need Welly boots if visiting in the colder months. Lovely place to visit in all seasons and to see nature changing. Most paths are suitable for buggies and wheelchairs as we have bought both through ourselves.

Excellent place to go for a walk. It has history, nature, toilets, picnic tables etc. Car park is a bit tiny but there is free parking on road nearby. And the walk is a nice loop.

Beautiful country park, hidden on the edge of Faversham. Seasonal visitors centre with friendly, helpful staff. Tea & coffee & cold drinks for sale. Some great walks and interesting old buildings.

This place is a little gem. Just a small frontage but opens out into a large & interesting place. Well worth the entrance fee of just £3.50 for seniors & £5 for others.

One of my favourite spots in Faversham. The food is delicious (amazing scones and cakes) and it is great to grab a bite and see what has been created in the studios. It is a great place and some of the art on display is truly impressive. Top spot in Faversham. 😊

I'm reviewing this from the perspective of a gallery and art centre; not as a coffee shop (of which there are a great many in Faversham). I'm sure it's a great coffee shop but that wasn't why I came to have a look. As an art gallery it makes a great coffee shop. I went to see an exhibition but there were tables and chairs (bearing coffee and cake consuming customers) right in front of most of the exhibits. It's ridiculous to expect anyone to peer over someone drinking a latte and eating a flapjack to look at a picture. It's also pretty uncomfortable for the coffee shop customer I'd have thought. They really need to rearrange things to make this place work properly. Moving tables and chairs away from the wall would be one solution; setting aside a proper exhibition area within the (pretty large) room would be even better. I also learnt afterwards that there were further exhibits downstairs. I don't recall seeing any signage for this? I'm absolutely sure this is a five star coffee shop but for art exhibitions I'm afraid it really needs a rethink - but I don't think it would take someone too much to make it work for all visitors. Sorry if I sound like a right old moaner but I like to this is constructive criticism. UPDATE I will not be changing my star rating (at present) for the following reasons: 1. Valuable exhibition space has been compromised so as not to compromise on coffee shop space. Access to art is thus secondary to selling scones. 2. The stand/banner in the room adjacent to the lobby was there on neither of my two visits; either that or the door from the lobby was shut. I'm not blind. I suspect the banner has been placed there subsequently because I'm not the only person to have missed the gallery downstairs and thus proving that it is possible to listen to feedback. 3. There was no "misunderstanding". There was legitimate and qualified criticism which has been met with ruffled feathers and a defensive rant. Constructive criticism serves an important purpose. You can listen and make improvements or not as you see fit. You don't have to agree with me but I don't have to agree with you. I will visit and review again in the not-too-distant future and hopefully will be able to set a higher rating if it is warranted. I'm very hopeful that will but that is as much down to Creek Creative as it is to me. It won't be based on the quality of the scones which I'm sure are as wonderful as everyone says.

Had a lovely interlude at Creek Creative in Faversham today. The studio is full of an eclectic mixture of various local ‘makers’ and artists and it is well worth a look. They also have a vegan cafe as a major part of the establishment which, as it turns out, is extremely good. I, myself, am not a vegan or a vegetarian, but even so I found the variety of food extremely edifying, especially on a chilly and windy autumn afternoon. A lot my friends have always complained about the lack of establishments serving food that fits in with their dietary requirements, although this is not so much the case now. Creek Creative certainly makes a bold statement in the variety and tastes available on their menu, and I will say that their soups are very nearly as good as my mums, which is saying something. Anyway, if you get the chance, try them out, you won’t be disappointed. I don’t have any photos to post this time but I will be going back and I will post them on my next visit.

Creek creative is a great place for seeing friends or catching up with family. However the place is so crowded at times that you have no space to move around. Food is excellent.

My new favourite lunch venue. The food is great and healthy in just the right amounts, service is quick even when busy. The art work on the walls changes frequently and I hope to buy some of the artisan made products from the small shop area soon. Food good value as well.

Beautiful church set in the heart of Faversham. We went here to watch a performance as part of the Literary Festival and it was packed. Lovely to see classic, wooden pews in this church which give it a timeless feel. Surprisingly spacious inside, interesting to browse around and discover its history. Very friendly atmosphere.

This lovely church was visited some time ago but it is still in my mind to return for a longer visit because it is so fascinating - I will try and get a guided tour to learn even more next time. The wall paintings, on the pillars, are just too good...

Fantastic old church, still got all the old features to look at. The members of the church I met and spoke with were more than happy to answer any questions I had. If you like old buildings this is a great place to go to, would be more than happy to visit again.

Popped in here because one of my my granddaughters, visiting from the Caribbean, was fascinated by the church spire. Ended up spending over an hour here. They were very interested in our some of the Memorial stones in the church were. Then we discovered the church trail for8_12 Yr old and they enjoyed competing the questions. Judging from their visitor book comments they thought it was wonderful.

I visited Faversham on Saturday 10 September 2022, for a short visit enroute to Whitstable. The coach drop off point was near the market area, which was a little depleted ,I presume as it was in the mourning period for Queen Elizabeth. The walk to the church was down the appropriately named Church Rd and even I have reduced mobility, only took around 5-8 minutes. The way in is through the graveyard which had some obviously ancient and interesting looking stones and monuments. There is a ramp into the church as well as a short flight of steps with handrail. There are some beautiful stained glass windows and also an unique painted pillar near the transept which dates from the Middle Ages. According to Father Simon (sorry I'm a Catholic!), this was probably painted over in the time of the Dissolution of the monasteries. I had quite a long chat with the priest about his ministry in Faversham and how despite the town being pretty, it still had its share of poverty and difficult issues, which the church is trying to address. On the way out,I noticed 2 large sofas facing each other and a sign welcoming everyone into the church. This seemed apt, as during my visit, 3 teenage lads came in to pray for Queen Elizabeth. Amazingly gorgeous with tall spire that can be seen for miles. Part of a once larger religious community around Faversham Abbey established by King Stephen and dissolved by Henry VIII. It's listed Grade 1 under English Heritage. King Henry is supposedly buried here?! Check out the painted pillars, a medieval rarity.

I visited the Faversham Antiques Market today, which is held on the first Sunday of the month. Lots of stalls with well presented stock. A better market than for some months (I go most months). If you visit, don't forget to go upstairs in the Guildhall in the Market Square as you will find more dealers there. Walk round Faversham, too. There are other antiques shops nearby well worth visiting. There are also plenty of places to get something to eat and drink if you want to interrupt your browsing.

If you're on the tourist trail in Kent, you probably have Canterbury and Dover on your itinerary and little else. I recommend Faversham (on the A2 or the railway line on your way down to the aforementioned places). The market is held on Fridays and Saturdays, showcasing local produce. But come for the town itself with its well-preserved medieval centre.

Busy little town with several smaller sized shops and plenty of pubs and cafes. Faversham holds different markets in the centre of town. Tues, Fri and Sat for general stalls and an antique market on the first Sunday of the month. There is the popular Open Gardens event in June, Hop Festival in September and Christmas Market in December ( plenty of stalls at all of these events). We enjoyed seeing the beautiful old buildings and walking along the creekside.

Had some time to spare while waiting for the car to be Mot'd so a walk around Faversham centre and the market was a delight with many specialised stools with artisan products for sale. A visit to the local butchers just around the corner from centre was a lovely discovery and has a great choice of specialised meats to try, definitely a return visit required. Parking was easy in the large car park which is just off the town centre which has the local swimming pool included to visit. Faversham has always been a pleasure to visit over the years and I look forward to a return visit in the near future.

Our first visit to the area as our daughter has just moved here, the market has a large variety of stalls, my husband drives a mobility scooter and found the cobbles a bit rickety when he drove over them but that is a small price to pay, the town is lovely and quaint and needs a bit more exploring, we will be back.

After recently moving to the area, I came across the Stone Stonebridge Pond on Maps and decided to check it in person. Needless to say my two year-old son absolutely loved seeing all the ducks! The bench area seemed to be well kept with minimal litter aswell! Overall this is a nice little stop off if you're already passing through the area!

Very nice pond, however only one side of it is accessible to the public, a small part with only 3 benches. However, I did enjoy my time here watching the waterfowl and reading my book.

No point bothering. Saw this in a Google search and headed straight there being mislead by what looked like a nice place to visit by the photo. Its OK if your a local and can walk. But it's really just a small patch of grass under the trees off a busy road, no parking. Loads of rats. And ducks are no scared to come near to take food half the time.

Tried to go here on a Saturday and was juts unlucky. Only three benches which is not enougn. Still the ducks had the best spot, swimming on the pond!

I stood at the bus stop beside this pond for 20 mins. It is a fairly attractive spot . I saw 2 moorhens, some mallards and lots of black headed gulls

A lovely 2 hours spent in a small orchard full of various free roaming animals from Donkeys, Alpaca, Sheep, Goats to Turkey and Chickens. Two of my party had a fully grown Miniature Pig walk and play experience. Such fun and smiles all round. We then had cake and refreshments in the small open air cafe before having to leave. All the staff we spoke to were lovely, knowledgeable and full of fun! I have already recommended Huckleberry Woods to friends and family.

Absolutely lovely place to visit. Staff are wonderful and friendly and you can see how much they care about their animals. Definitely will go back!

My 3 children and I are super fans of Huckleberry woods - it is such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere created by Belinda and Bill. It’s wonderful to explore while the animals are free-roaming. My little ones adore feeding the animals, creating the magic in the Witch’s garden and discovering the haunted mine. Refreshments offered are delicious and the little gingerbread house in the picnic area is always a hit! We have been several times and plan to continue visiting on a regular basis.

What a little gem! My son had such a lovely time walking Lord Truffles the piggy. Lovely, friendly and knowledgable staff, beautiful setting and most importantly, happy and well looked after animals! Because the animals are happy and their welfare is put first, it was really noticeable how much more interactive they were to animals seen at busier and more ‘commercial’ farms/zoos. We will definitely be visiting again.

What a fantastic experience - I chose to do the donkey walk with a friend. So we each had a donkey to walk around the woods. My one was keen to get it done to get to the area where he’s fed carrots. My friend had the more gentile one so got to go at a slower pace! Both donkeys are gorgeous. Will be visiting again to take the teddy bear sheep for a walk & the pigs. Wonderful place to visit especially with children.

I had the best time at Huckleberry Woods. Even with drizzle, the donkeys were very friendly and compliant - the sheep were so fluffy and clearly comfortable in the orchard. Alpacas were so curious and gentle. My worries were at complete ease when Belinda discussed animal behaviour and gave a comprehensive health and safety talk. I would recommend this experience very much.

We visited Huckleberry Woods and had the most amazing and unique time. It was so much better than I had expected, truly a hands on and great experience. The staff really make it what it is. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again ☺️

Absolutely love it here, this was our fifth or six visit and the kids still love every second! Have 2, 12 and 16 year olds. Some animals are free roaming and it’s lovely and calm, the workers are always around to help you feel relaxed if your worried about feeding the animals by hand for the first time or second etc and always have loads of info about the animals when you have questions. There is a cute little cafe for tea coffee and refreshments so that’s lovely for the adults for a cup of tea and cake! Definitely worth a visit or two thank you to all the staff for being so lovely I’m sure we will see you again soon. Visited 11/4/24

Absolutely fantastic farmland! We’ve been a couple of times now with our 11 year old and 1 year old and both of them absolutely love it. It’s so great that it’s secured but open so it gives my eldest the freedom to explore while I can make sure my 1 year old isn’t trying to hug the ducks 😂. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The animals are so friendly and the staff are great too. The cafe have delicious cake options too with an open view of the farm.

Simply a wonderful place for all ages. We took my mother-in-law and sister-in-law for a Christmas present to walk the Donkeys and see the animals and we had a brilliant morning. The animals are free to roam around the orchard with just a small group of visitors and we were given food on arrival for the various residents. This made it a truly unique and personal experience, and we really enjoyed meeting all the animals (my personal favourites had to be cheeky Duke the donkey and Teddy the alpaca). The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly for hot and cold days alike, the hot chocolate is unmissable! We can't recommend Huckleberry Woods enough and will certainly be returning with more family and friends.

Amazing experience for kids and big kids alike. We did the pig walking and loved it. The piggies are so loved and pampered, it was wonderful to see. The teddy bear sheep love cuddles, the goats are cheeky little things and the turkeys and alpacas will mug you for your feed! It’s great fun, I would highly recommend visiting. We will go back to walk the donkeys next.

Love being in with the animals while they free roam. Fed the alpacas carrots and the chickens both by hand which was a cute experience. Stroked the sheep, they love a scratch behind their ears. Brushed the goats horns. The ladies working there are so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Everywhere is so clean and peaceful. All the animals are so happy and well looked after which is very obvious, which is beautiful. We loved it and would definitely recommend. Will 100% be coming back. Thank you 🥰

Small museum but full of interest for anyone interested in Roman Kent and medieval history. Lovely friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Very careful Covid safety too.

Visited here recently. A real gem for anyone interested in Roman ancient relics. The Minerva statue is beautiful. Lovely informed and friendly volunteer staff. Well worth a visit.

Great museum to visit in the centre of Ospringe to learn more about the area's fascinating history. The volunteers here are very friendly and knowledgeable. Very reasonably priced entry and a nice way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend!

I did not expect so much from this place. I went in during half terms so they bean prepared for kids some activities like excavation stuff to colour or assigning pices of artifacts to right category. I was also expecting this place will be smaller and mostly empty which was nice surprise to see all stuff in. On the down side there in no parking right next to it but 5 minutes any direction you could find plenty spaces.

Believed to be the oldest village museum in Britain, this 13th-15th Century building is a gem in the heart of Ospringe. It remains from what was a Mediaeval hospital, visited by pilgrims and Royalty travelling to Canterbury. The museum houses exquisite Roman and Mediaeval collections found locally. Run entirely by welcoming, friendly volunteers it is well worth a visit. It is opposite the Ship Inn which is a great place for lunch or refreshments while visiting Ospringe.

Fascinating relic of a medieval pilgrims' hospital on the road to Canterbury. Just a few rooms but also plenty of information about the large complex that served royalty and more humble travellers.

Very relaxing place to come along and pray.

Lovely place to visit. Have been coming here for years. Parking can sometimes be difficult, mostly when there is a mass on. Roads near the church are fairly tight so need to take care when driving around the town. But a popular place nonetheless, every time we go there is usually a good amount of people visiting at the same time

What ever your religious view coming to GOD via St Judes shrine is worth a visit

It was pleasant without being spectacular! By this I mean that the place is quite compact. Obviously if you come to pray the size of the venue does not matter. We came to visit and in warmer drier weather you could sit and contemplate in the garden but in winter this is not so easy.

A lovely peaceful shrine of St. Jude. Very friendly parishioners and Priest. Good place for a quiet picnic or a reflection

A place of worship to God and presence of Holy spirit. I read it somewhere ‘No one returns from this place empty handed’ We visited National Shrine of Saint Jude 34 Tanners St, Faversham last Saturday and sure enough we didn’t returned empty handed. We went there with a very special prayer request asking St Jude to intercede and pray for us. It was a very special moment for us to be there and we were truly blessed.
