A great place to hangout with family and friends. We reached there at around 10 am and thought that we are very early and what will we do for the entire day. But as the day passed we found it very difficult to cover the entire resort in that limited time. The resorts closing time is 6pm however we left ad around 6.45 and there was a huge crowd which did so. And even after leaving that late we were thinking that we could spend more time there. Since it's summer holidays and especially we went there on a bank holiday it was super crowded and busy. The first ride we took had a waiting time of around an hour. And all the major rides had the same waiting time but all were worth the wait. The rides I liked specially were the water splash, the haunted house and the fairy tale ride. The fairy tale ride was so fascinating that we took it twice, and also because it was not that busy. It is recommended that you take spare clothes if you want to indulge in the water rides. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, though they are a bit expensive. Highly recommended

We have been here 4 times in the past 4 years. This was certainly the most disappointing. Before I start let me state it was on 30 June 2023 and not school holidays. How about I give you the + & - + Friendly staff Shop has a lot of cool stuff Great rides when they are functional and working Coffee now at entrance and later on which is great - Viking River Splash was not working last year and again not this year in summer! We spend 6.5 hours there and only managed to do 7 rides. They simply let too many people in! It was a madhouse and others had similar complaints about the capacity. Food is terrible and extremely expensive. £10 for parking which is 15 min walk is simply not very fair. No other option either. They really need to sell less tickets so that people who are in can enjoy things more. We waited over an hour for 3 separate rides! Again not school holidays. A great day out. Recommend buying tickets in advance as cheaper. Blue badge holder pay standard parking but get priority parking spaces. Carer tickets claimed at ticket office BEFORE you go inside. (To order these are well hidden on the website pages, search "carer"). Digital download for all your days pictures is £20 which is much cheaper than buying individually. Ride queue times hit and miss. Longest wait we had was 30 mins. Massive lack of seating throughout park to just sit for a bit. On a hill so get your comfiest shoes on to walk in. Would have been 5 star but staff at the "fun flavours " ice cream shop were really rude when we asked for a vegan option (there wasn't one). Plus staff at the hot dog stall by the harbour were having a bad day and looked like they had just finished an argument. Toilets on entry were really grimy even at the start of the day.

Amazing hotel and fun park. Second to none with so many things to do, kids didn't stop for a second. Themed room was clean and fresh with plenty of room for a family of 5. Probably the best shower in Europe in the bathroom. Legoland park was incredible and left me and kids a bit awestruck with all the Lego creations and rides. I Highly recommend. PS. I would like to thank all the staff who were full of fun and made our stay an absolute pleasure.

This was an amazing place to go with my 7 year old. He and us absolutely loved it. So much to do and we went on all the rides we wanted to go on together. We stayed over and got a good deal on the room. We enjoyed the room too. Only down side was the price for food in the restaurants on site. Lunch was well overpriced for what it was, and quality wasn't the best, same with evening meal only saving grace was good service and friendly staff. The park itself was amazing, though, and all the rides were appropriate, which you don't always get elsewhere. The Christmas activities on and santa visit were really good and my son again enjoyed this. We'll be back but won't be eating on site.

This is definitely a full day out possibly even 2 to see and do everything, average queuing times for the summer holidays. We'd definitely return. Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are clean and tidy despite the massive foot fall. We saw a live action show which was brilliant.

It was a wonderful day with high temperatures since the morning. There are a lot of games, all of which are free and included in the ticket. Today is my son’s fourth birthday, and I was lucky to go to this place. I thought my son would not enjoy his day, but he was very happy to play there, and one of the things that made him very happy today was getting a car driver’s license 😂😂 I thank God. On this wonderful, beautiful day. I highly recommend families to visit this place

Had an absolute blast here with the kids! Tagged along on a family trip to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. We booked in advance using cereal vouchers. It was a lot of fun & tons bigger than we’d anticipated. From workshops to theatre to age-appropriate fun rides; there’s something for everyone!

This place had something for everyone and all ages. Rides were great however waiting times were quite high. The kids enjoyed their time there so much. Food wise was tough as they didn't accommodate gluten free options. The kids were very sad they couldn't have any ice cream because it was cross contaminated. You can take in snacks which was great. Definitely coming back when the kids are a little older so they can experience the bigger rides too. I think you need to come a few times so you can see all the different parts of the park. Because you spend so much time waiting to get on the ride you don't get to actually experience the park as much. So definitely need to come back. I guess that's how they make their money 💸💸💸

I recently visited Legoland Windsor on a weekday, and overall, I had a positive experience. The ambiance of the park was great, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere that added to the enjoyment of the day. The staff at Legoland were mostly nice and friendly, which enhanced the overall experience. They were helpful and willing to assist whenever needed. Interactions with the staff were generally pleasant, and they added to the positive atmosphere of the park. However, one downside of my visit was the significant queues. Despite it being a weekday, there were large queues for the attractions, which affected the overall enjoyment of the day. Waiting for extended periods of time can be frustrating, especially when you're eager to explore all that Legoland has to offer

What a great day we had, think we probably needed 2 days and wish we had stayed. It was busy but not uncomfortable. The park is packed with loads to do and see and I would highly recommend a visit, wish we'd done it years ago to be fair. Food isn't cheap but we didn't expect it to be, the refillable drinks were a little disappointing and no ice available, so wouldn't do that again but overall a great day out. Recommend paying to park beforehand to save a few pennies :)

We spent an entire day at the park and was enough to see all attraction. Although there were massive queue everywhere. The entry ticket is reasonable if you buy it advance. Many food/snacks options, also vegan friendly. Staff was very friendly. And seeing the shop outlet is MUST! 😍

What a fantastic day we had. This was our 'Big Kids' day out and we picked a perfect weekend for it. Parking seemed to be the only difficulty but we picked a Saturday so we've only got ourselves to blame. The attractions were amazing, the new 4D ride was mind-blowing and the Halloween performance finished it off for us. We'll be going back one day!

Spent a day at Legoland during Christmas opening. Bought tickets in advance, which was good because it was sold out. The park looked great, decorated with lights and trees, and there were extra events throughout the day. Kids had a great time. Personally I think other theme parks give better value for money, this is relatively limited if you're looking for adrenaline, but good for keeping younger kids entertained for a day. Also good if you're a Lego fan! Was impressed to see a sun block dispenser on the outside of the first aid office. We didn't need it because it was freezing cold, but top marks in the summer as I haven't seen that at other places before.

We stayed in the Legoland Hotel for the Santa sleepover, and we had a great time. All staff were friendly and helpful. We did think the hotel could do with a few more Christmas decorations, but still, it was nice. The whole park was open, apart from the water rides. Mythica was brilliant. We went on this a few times. We had dinner and breakfast in Bricks restaurant, and again, staff were great and very helpful with any allergies that you may have. Did think the breakfast would have been better if it was buffet. The park was clean and plenty of places to either get food or drinks. Overall, a great night away.

We had a great day. We took our 8 year old and he lead the way. What’s good is none of the rides are huge so he’s happy to go on all of them. Great for families. We had a brilliant day. Despite arriving for opening time and staying until closing - it was busy so we only got on 5 rides all day.

Great family day for young and old. Park opens at 10. I recommend you get there before as there is a public opening countdown every day. As soon as you enter, there are toilet facilities, and you either walk or take the train to the rides. Will stress you will be walking for most of the 7 hours you are there recommend hiking shoes,wellies, and waterproofs in case it rains! There is little in the way of shelter. It is very open! Nearly had to take a loan out for the ice cream £5 it is massive. Waiting times on rides depends on the time of year you go. There are plenty of toilet and coffee shops about. No dogs allowed. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible

We had a fantastic day but most rides were closed, not the cleanest of places, £20 for unlimited digital photo's on the rides but only one ride had a photo the rest either were not taking photos or the rides was broken/closed. Would recommend finding out what is open before booking. All you can eat pizza pasta is nice food but manic when busy. Expensive day. But we made the most of it.

Great place to visit and spend the day. Queue times varied depending on time of day. There's a good variation of rides depending on age and excitement level. Get the Legoland app to see queue times and help navigate around the park. Priority parking opens at 9am which isn't printed on the ticket. Unlimited refill drinks were a lifesaver, although £9 upfront per bottle, it was great for the kids as we didn't need to keep visiting shops or carry around bottles in our bag. Overall a great experience and will definitely be visiting again.

Legoland is a great time for a family day out. I would say the upper age limit for kids is around 12 years old. Older than that, the rides will seem a bit kiddy. Buy your tickets in advance. Pay for parking in advance. Have fun!

Good place to visit, we have had unlucky day as it was raining 🌧. Rides are fun and approx was 10/15 min wait time. When we sat for lunch I the large eatery the fire alarm went off and we was told to evacuate, it was a false alarm and we couldn't complete our lunch. As every big theme park is essential to arrive early to park easy and not wait too long to enter. Overall good fun Park for the children to enjoy. I recommend to visit.

Good fun for younger children but be prepared for long queues in the school holidays. Take snacks & drinks to have during the waiting time is my advice. We also found a lot of rides were not working or broke down while we were there which added to the frustration levels,the rides we did get on were good though. We also stayed at the resort hotel which was really enjoyable.

We Loved our Trip to Legoland. We got there nice and early at 9am in the car park and thought Wow we are one of the first few families to get there. Parked up and made our way to the Entrance and Lucky to be First in the line. We had about a 20 minute wait for the Gates to open. The Staff did a count down from 10 and Bang on 9:30am the Gates opened. My son had already decided on the first ride so we made our way down to the Laser Raiders ride. Being there early does make a great deal of difference as no queues for the rides. By 12pm we had done a lot of rides and then had a Nice break and had some Food. Then the boys wanted to go to the Splash water area and cool down as it was a seriously Hot day (25c+). As the day went on, we could see the queues getting Bigger and I recommend using the Legoland App as it gives you a waiting time on each ride and how to walk to the next ride. As for Food and drink it is pricey but it's recommended you buy the Refill Drinks Bottle at about £14 each for 2 Bottles and there were Drinks stations everywhere to go and Top your Bottle of Drink. We took some of our own food and snacks to save a little. Overall it was a Brilliant Family day out. Legoland ticked off our List...Let the next adventure begin ✌🏽

We came here for 2 days we stayed in Slough just 10 min drive away so was cheaper it was fantastic my 9yr old loved every minute and so did we its all set out really well. We were lucky the English October holidays start this week so it wasn't too busy no waiting in cues for long and not at all with some rides we spend the whole day here.

If you or your kids love Lego then Legoland is must go place for you. We enjoyed our first visit very much. But was disappointed with the crowed management, it took at least 1 hour in the queue for each ride, due to the huge crowd. Few tips from my end which will be helpful if you are visiting the Legoland. 1. Try to use public transportation to reach the Legoland. Will be helpful to avoid parking and traffic bottlenecks. 2. Always book the tickets in advance because if you go for ticket booking for today the ticket charges will be more. 3. Download the Legoland map on the phone to traverse through more easily in the park. 4. Identify the rides you want to do and go directly to them without wasting time on anywhere else. The other parts of the park you can always visit without the queue. 5. Leave half or one hour early of park closure time to avoid traffic. 6. Avoid bank holiday weekends to avoid crowds. Was disappointed by crowd management, the Legoland Management should limit the tickets instead of asking people to go for skip the queue tickets.

My experience at Legoland on New Year's Eve was nothing short of spectacular. The park was alive with excitement, and the festive atmosphere was infectious. It was a truly unforgettable way to ring in the new year, and the memories of that special evening at Legoland will stay with me for years to come.

I really enjoyed my stay at the resort hotel and the park. My 4 year old son loved it. The room with the hidden treasure, the play room and splash pool. And once we go to the park the new rides and attractions just keep on coming. There is plenty to choose from, we visited on a week day which made the queues much shorter...if visiting on a busy weekend I would suggest the fast track queue options. Especially if going with little one

Good for the younger family members and those who love Lego …. Typical theme park prices though and weirdly the fairground stalls have “variable pricing” the £5 a go on Friday was £7 on a Saturday? We swerved the £3 to throw one basketball at a hoop though! Mini land is cool though and the AR app for Mythica amusing - not so amusing was a 70 minute wait for the ride. Long waits for most rides for young children is not fun for them or us adults!

It was a very nice one. I wasn't expecting the size of the resort until I got there. 😅 We could only visit a few number of places. We've got a Merlin pass, so we'll definitely visit again - of course, the places we've not been.

Kids enjoyed it. It was a tough day, though, with queues up to 50 mins for some rides - considering it was March, I can only imagine what it would be like during school holidays and the summer! The biggest downside was the price of everything. £9 for a battered sausage and chips. £5 for an ice cream. £8 for 5 donuts. £25 to hire a scooter. £10 to park. Lego massively overpriced (playing on kids' wanting it). Up to £10 PER RIDE to get to the front of the queues, meaning those with money could jump to the front of all the queues, leaving those less well off, waiting even longer in queues. Not fair. These types of places absolutely rip people off, for no other reason than sheer greed. But, the kids enjoyed it....

It was a lovely place, beautifully designed, strategically located, and spacious. The rides were awesome, and the kids had a superb time. The minicity was the most exciting non-ride aspect of Resort for me. The waiting time is almost as advertised, but most of the attractions had wait times less than 10 minutes.

Amazing place. It has everything for everybody, right from kids of 4-8 years, young once and adults as well. You can get food from the various options available there, or you can pack the home made food as well (more economical). I suggest to plan the trip and what rides you want to try (use LegoLand app). This will help to cover rides you want to enjoy. You may to able to cover all rides in a day so either try to schedule another trip or you may want to stay there (yes, there is an option) and try all the rides. Enjoy !!

Visited for the first time with my 6 year old daughter during the first week of Easter break. Daughter loved Legoland, naturally, especially being a ninjago fan. Sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations. We had a 4 hour limit to our stay because of family commitments and during the first 3 hours we queued for 3 rides and for lunch. On lunch options, £8+ for a long hot dog is just too much and the quality of fare is really basic and unhealthy. To get the best out of your visit arrive early, get the queue jumping pass and take your own lunch.

Really good day. Easter Friday, booked tickets and parking in advance. No queue to get in and the queues when in the park weren't that bad really, 45m to an hour for the big rides but still a few that were only up to half an hour wait. I've added a Map of the park for you so you can use it to plan your route around the park. We headed straight to the back of the park and worked our way to the front throughout the day. Worked well.

Had a lovely day out here in the April half term and it was not too busy. Longest que during the day was 50mins for the sky fire ride. It was easy to find and park up (I paid for parking in advance which I highly recommend). We then headed in at 10am as it opened and went in with no waiting. The kids loved everything they went on, and the ques were very reasonable. They were often moving quickly which is good and there is generally plenty to look at and keep you entertained while waiting. We had the fried chicken for lunch but it was far too overpriced and certainly felt like they were taking advantage. It doesn't need to be that expensive. Hence the 4 stars here. We barely managed to get on a quarter of the rides available during the day out, so it's very possible to stay at the park or nearby and have multiple visits without being bored. However we managed to go on all our favourite ones and it was wonderful for the younger ones to be able to try their first roller coasters. The shop at the end was great, we got there a bit early to avoid the mad ques and it paid off. Overall I would rate our trip 4/5 with the lost star being the high price of extras such as the food/drinks, full price on lego at the shop and overpriced souvenir items. We will definitely return though, thank you Lego.

Fun place for the family! While it rained it was still a good time. Finding our premium parking failed but oh well. There is lots to do and ensure you bring rain gear and pack a great picnic as they have places all over. There is a resort hotel on the grounds and skip that. Stay at the Heathrow Marriott on Bath Road :)

Love this castle! When visiting Europe you see a ton of castles but this one has to be my favorite! It's clean, kept up and absolutely beautiful! This was my first visit and I already recommended it to all my friends and family planning trips to London! This is a beautiful must stop!

The area around the castle is very nice, roads are filled with flowers and union jack flags everywhere. The view from the river banks and the bridge is so nice and one won’t get enough of. The castle was closed at the time of my visit so can’t comment of the internals.

Such a fascinating place of British regal history. Perfect place to go on a weekend and to see the history maintained beautifully. The regiments of royal guards are there to be photographed in their ceremonial uniforms. There is Royal Doll’s house and miniature royal palace are also fascinating to see. There are a lot of sights, where you can click aesthetic pictures and after checking all the places, you can buy magnets, postcards and souvenirs. There are a lot of good food places near castle and not to miss the ice cream places. Also not to miss to see “The Long Walk” at Windsor park.

Highly recommend this as it is one of the must-see locations if you are visiting the country or the area. Overall, it was a lovely visit. Before arriving we did not know what to expect as this was the first time visiting this particular location. We had a driver who dropped us off at the corner between the long walk and the entrance. Entrance was very easy and organized and the guards were very professional and helpful. No pictures are allowed inside parts of some buildings but that leaves the visitor plenty of area to take pictures outside the buildings on the grounds. I like the audio tour but think that your estimate of how long they take is a little low. It took more than 120 minutes to see most of what we saw and that was before the planned Kitchen tour that we booked. I think 180 minutes might be more accurate. The church and grounds are beautiful and have a rich history we could have spent much more time there. The fire restoration is amazing. Kudos to the builders for restoring it to its current condition in just 5 short years. After the visit, we walked part of the long walk and then down the cobblestone city streets. That was a bit less well-kept than the castle grounds but nice all the same.

Great day out. Plenty to see and good value for money. Headsets provided are really useful for commentary as you go round the castle rooms. Staff were very helpful and polite. Buying tickets in advance avoids queues.

Windsor castle is one of the oldest castle in the world and good. You will enjoy with family and friends. One day trip and you will be refreshed after visiting Windsor and the castle. I have 4 stars and 1 star minus for no photography allowed inside castle (closed areas). Some points are very good and nice and good for photography (open area). Well maintained and green.

Fantastic collection of art. Beautifully preserved castle full of history. Very friendly and informative staff. You can spend here a day here and still want to come back for more. Excellent audio guides. Delicious cakes in the cafe.

Great side trip from London. Nice shopping area outside the castle. Queen Mary's doll house was OK, interesting. The inside of the castle that we saw was gorgeous. Cool to see all the knight crests. Also nice to St. George chapel, and the queen's resting place.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. Having been brought up seeing all the big events held by the royals it was great to be able to see first hand where everything has happened in my lifetime. I’m not a big history person but this was definitely something I could relate to. We spent the better part of three hours exploring the castle. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Wow, what a place. 1000 years old and still looks amazing. Went to visit and look inside the halls and residence, etc. Fascinating history Kings Queens paintings and from all over the world gifts etc. To see. I had to pay my respect to the late Queen and Prince Philip. Took a few moments to remember how wonderful they both were. Well, it's worth a visit. What else could someone say.

Fantastic, historical site to visit. The splendour inside is amazing, and the architecture is outstanding. This has something for everyone. My only small niggle would be that there isn't enough information as you walk around, so you need to buy the audio sets or books. However, the staff are informative and very helpful. Excellent day out.

Love it!! The changing of the guards was wonderful. The Castle was so beautiful and there are so many artifacts to see. We also enjoyed a cup of tea with a tea biscuit. Be sure to visit the church where Queen Elizabeth, her husband, mother, father and sister are laid to rest as well as Henry the eighth. Make the time to go into the town as well. The people are all so friendly.

I liked it. We visited as part of a 2-day tour from London so we had limited time, but it was more than enough to visit the whole place. We didn’t get to see the changing of the guard, but the doll house is very impressive. There are lots of rooms to explore, and the audio guide was explanatory. However, one of the guides had the files in different order so it was difficult to follow the path

Very well organized national treasure, we visited when King Charles was on site, but seen no significant blockades or restricted areas. Museum is amazing, obviously, premises are well maintained. Definitely recommend, it's worth the money!

Historic castle used as a residence by the British Royal family. Tickets can be purchased on the day but better to purchase online. Tickets which are purchased from the castle itself can be converted to an annual pass for free. It takes about two hours to tour the grounds and castle, depending on how long you want to linger at each point. A free touch screen audio guide and headphones are loaned for the tour. There is no tour guide, you just walk around at your own pace. The touch screen guide will provide information on various parts of the castle. The parts are numbered. The North terrace then the doll's House followed by the state apartments then St George's chapel. The Chapel is closed for visitors on Sunday. Changing of the guard happens at 11am on certain days except Sunday. No photography is allowed inside. Use public car parks, the castle does not have one for visitors.

This castle is massive, almost like a small town, and has great views of surrounding Windsor. You can see the long walk, the changing of the guard and the beautiful insides and rooms. A must do.

A revisit to the castle, apartments amazing, dolls House so cute and detailed. Lucky enough to do the Tower tour this time. A special moment seeing the Queen and prince Phillips resting place. Just a beautiful place all round. Oh and lovely cakes in the cafe.

Iconic and beautiful sight to behold. Your visit could be quite delayed if you did not buy your ticket in advance, as you have to queue to buy your ticket and your entrance will depend on the time of the next available batch. In all, please buy your tickets in advance if you can, and also budget roughly two hours to enjoy your time at the Castle.

Had a brilliant visit here. It's very well organised, as one would imagine, with lots to see. We also visited St George's Chapel, which was magnificent and also very moving. No photography is allowed in the castle or the chapel, but it is every bit as splendid as you would imagine.

A very beautiful castle. Wonderful collection of rare artifacts throughout the palace. What makes is very interesting is that the castle is still working. You get to see 900+ years worth of history in the making.

Visited the Windsor Castles during the Christmas holidays, the castle was closed but we could walk around the castle, take pictures, and also walk to the river. The rail station is historic and the engine which was used by the royal family is still on display. Even if you want to see things outside of Castle it would take at least a couple of hours, our tour gave us one hour to eat breakfast and look around. Make sure you have good cameras and comfortable walking shoes. There are a few restaurants that are open on holiday that day. I guess due to holidays the souvenir shops didn't open until our tour ended.

It's great to visit a place that it is actively being used, but the ticket price is not justified. The majority of the places that you can see are actually on the outside of the castle. The only good thing is that is you decide to donate the ticket amout to charity, you have access for a year to the castle with the same tickets, but still, if you don't live nearby then my initial comment stands. The dollhouse, for example, has really long queues, and once inside, you have to keep moving and can not really enjoy how much you want as the flow has to move. Honestly, overall, it's not that impressive compared to other castles that I have visited. The great thing about it is the location as it is really close to the train station and it's easy to reach.

Worth the ticket price. Allow 2 to 3 hours to take it all in. The Art work is amazing, as is the architecture. The staff are really helpful and enjoy answering your questions. The Chapel isn't open on a Sunday which is the day we went so that was a disappointment. Souvenirs are expensive but cheaper in the shops outside the castle. Parking was £5.50 an hour.

Windsor castle is great but closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We went through a tour and unfortunately chose Tue. The place is historic and has some great stories. Highly recommended to include a guide who can tell the stories. Don't miss the mile walk

I was impressed by the tour (individual audio). Really a lot of interesting things to see, as well as the chapel. we also saw the changing of the guard. in short, worth a visit, buy tickets in advance

This place is imbued with a rich tapestry of history and a regal atmosphere. Awe-inspiring features and well-preserved architecture captivates visitors, while guides offer insightful narratives. The grounds are splendidly maintained, presenting enchanting views. Be prepared for a good amount of walking. The establishment also offers a lovely gift shop with unique memorabilia.

Returned to Windsor Castle for the first time since February 2019, and the experience was even more breathtaking with the better weather this time around. Windsor truly looks stunning under the sunlight. One of the highlights was Queen Mary’s Dolls House – it’s absolutely amazing, offering a miniature glimpse into royal life. Lucky for us, we visited on the last day the State Apartments were open, which added an extra layer of excitement to the visit. The audio tour was a standout feature, informative and well-organized, making it easy to match the commentary with each room we entered. The views from the castle windows over the gardens and beyond into wider Windsor are stunning and not to be missed. You could easily spend many hours just wandering and soaking it all in. A note for future visitors: St George’s Chapel was closed as it was a Sunday, so do check the opening times ahead of your visit.

Such a wonderful, interesting piece of history to walk around with headphones for a walking tour! I’d highly recommend. We visited in November 2023 and really enjoyed it! We pre-purchased our tickets, which was well worth it as we didn’t have to wait in any queues!

Beautiful Castle with amazing history. Definitely give yourself plenty of time to walk through all the rooms and take everything in. Also don't miss out on the chapel. Definitely worth visiting.

We visited on Saturday of Easter weekend so it was quite busy but manageable. It was a beautiful day, too. All tours of the castle were well managed both outside and inside, considering how busy it was. The staff were friendly and helpful. Once inside, we'd spent around 2 hours in total exploring the castle and its history. I'd recommend getting the audio guide, as you are constantly moving and so won't have enough time to read everything. We ended our tour in St George's Chapel, which was quite surreal for me. We walked around slowly, and it's surprising just how many people are buried there. We had got to some stairs which had a sign saying "you are about to walk past the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II". We couldn't stop by it. We had to keep walking. It was quite emotional for us to see it, as well as seeing a grave stone for Margaret too. Once we had finished our tour, we continued and ended our day in Windsor at a few local pubs and a restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone interested in our history, but it is also a great town for a day out without the tour of the castle.

Beautiful castle outside the London city. You can take National express for less than 10£ to visit there. Make sure to visit Jewels the best part of it.

Absolutely stunning! This chapel should probably be called a cathedral it's so spacious and elegant. The architectural detailing is truly breathtaking. Royalty of the past are entombed here to pay respects to. It's a very beautiful and very interesting place to pop into.

Even without the mesmerising history, the chapel is insanely impressive. Ornate, historic, impressive - what more could one want? Avoid in summer due to high visitor numbers incl. masses of tour groups. The staff inside are super friendly and knowledgeable should you have any questions.

We attended the service of St.George Chapel at 5 pm. It was great and holy. The whole trip from the morning at Windsor castle is amazing esp. In the the State Apartments. Omg i was a jaw dropping, history, architecture, culture, royal lifestyle, pantings. Spectacular. The royal guards, even royal security staff were well disciplined however, friendly. All staff gave info well and proportional attentive, very knowledgeable. Impressive.

Nice, but no big difference from other chapel of this range. It is quite similar to the Kings College chapel in Cambridge. It has all the royal elements, such as (a back door used by the royal family, coats of arms from several generations and a majestic chair for the archbishop) Of course you can not take pictures and some of the employees there are very rude.

A spectacular place to visit. No cameras are allowed inside but it's what you think it would be... gorgeous. The resting place to so many Royals. Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel is a must see. Staff is friendly, dress is casual and prices are fair.

An absolutely gorgeous chapel. Great workmanship, especially inside. It is unfortunate that no photos/videos are allowed inside. We ended up purchasing a postcard just for memories sake because the inside is that beautiful. Also, very, very, very crowded on a Saturday. Extremely busy and very bogged down as you try to walk through. Ensure you have enough time set apart - could take up to an hour to walk through the entire chapel.

Booked a ticket online for a Friday, first slot available was 12 midday. We arrived at 12.15pm after finding a parking space in the town. There is no visitor parking at the castle so allow time for finding a parking space. We joined the queue to get through security which moved fast and was really well managed it took about 10 minutes which was impressive, given the number of people ahead of us. Once through security we walked up to the main gate , just inside there was another queue for Audio guides , as we were pushed for time we decided to give the audio guide a miss and explore ourselves. St George's Chapel is a very impressive building containing so much history including the flag stone marking the burial place of Elizabeth II. After spending time in the Chapel we visited the state apartments which were worth the entry fee alone. Please note that there was a really long queue for Queen Mary's Doll house so we decided not to visit. There is no photography allowed inside any of the buildings and the staff working there are very active in terms of stopping any attempts at photography. Would day that Windsor Castle as a whole is worth a visit, if you had time you could spend 3+ hours exploring we arrived at 12.15 and were walking out the exit at 2.30. I was comparing it to Napoleon's Apartments @ The Louvre ,but not as impressive as the Palace at Versaille. However the fact that it still functions as a Royal Castle makes it more current.

Work on St. George's Chapel commenced under King Edward IV in 1475 and ended under Henry VIII in 1528. This beautiful Chapel is the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter and contains the King George VI Memorial Chapel, the last resting place of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The atmosphere there is incredibly solemn and several visitors were in tears when we visited! Unfortunately photography is not permitted inside the Chapel but it's an incredible place to visit.

Being able to go around this chapel puts it in a much different light from having seen it on the TV. You get to appreciate more the intricate internal and external architecture (the fan vaulted ceilings being very impressive). There are a lot of memorials to and graves of former monarchs.

Absolutely stunning church building. This place is full of historical significance and spiritual meaning. The final resting place of generations of kings and queens, including her majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second. The electionic guide is very helpful with lots of historical facts but also opportunities for prayer and reflection.

Beautiful and not to be missed. Closes earlier than the castle so do this first. Highlights include the Western window, the burial place of Queen Elizabeth II and the alter.

For me its the best part of the visit to Windsor Castle, amazing history, great information on the Knights of the Garter and he burial place of King Henry the VIII, and Queen Elizabeth II among many more. Beautiful architecture and stained glass. A trip back in time. Unfortunately no photos are aloud in any inside spaces at Windsor. The local parking is also very expensive at over £17 for 4 hours.

A beautiful church in the heart of the Windsor Castle complex This is inside the Windsor Castle complex and is one of the many sights that you can see while you are there. Entry is via a purchased ticket into the complex. The ticket is good for a year so if you plan on returning at any time in the next 365 days get the stamp it only took a couple of minutes. The chapel is “down the hill” in the Lower Ward area. It is hard to miss as it is an impressive, imposing structure. No pictures are allowed inside parts of the chapel but that leaves the visitor plenty of area to take pictures outside the buildings on the grounds. Entry is through a clearly marked area off the walkway. You are guided through a specific path to see all the different parts of the church. It is breathtaking with its impressive architecture and gorgeous large stained glass areas. There is an audio tour that is included that I highly recommend and will give you a lot of information necessary to understand the history and context of what you are seeing throughout the various parts. This is a working church so access may be limited but they invite the public to participate if you are present. There is a lot to see throughout the building due to its long history and association with the monarchy. This is a must-see for anyone visiting the area!

This place is super amazing! This is where Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are buried. You can see their tombs up close. No pictures unfortunately. Make sure ton stay for Evensong at 5:30 pm. Ask a staff member for details.

Much more intimate than the Abbey. No wonder QE2 chose the Chapel has her final resting place together with her parents and grandparents. QE2's resting place is on the lefthand side of the Chapel and quite nondescript likely by design. You can easily miss it if it wasn't for a docent standing by to avoid pics. We paid our respects and thanked QE2 for her service ...and for bringing corgis to the mainstream.

A beautiful chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle. The architecture is stunning and the history is incredible. No photos inside unfortunately but worth the visit. It's the final resting place of a few Kings and Queens of England including of course Queen Elizabeth II and Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. A must see if you are in Windsor and wondering whether to visit the castle or not.

This is a not to be missed, a must visit Gothic style and architecture royal chapel within Windsor Castle. It is the site of many past royal services ,weddings and also many royal burials have taken place here, which include the recent Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022. While inside the chapel, you have to maintain silence and remain in a queue. Photography is strictly not allowed. After the tour of the chapel, you can visit the Royal Collection Shop, where you can buy some souvenirs here. I was so awed and mesmerized by the intricate interior designs!

I had the most wonderful afternoon at the performance of Frank and Percy today by our country’s finest actors, it was the best play I have seen, so heart warming, thank you for your brilliance Roger and Sir Ian 🥂🙏

The entire experience was smooth & well organised. The location was easy to get to & parking was convenient & within walking distance. The staff of the Theatre were all friendly & very helpful. It was a lovely experience to discover how near the Theatre was to the Castle of Windsor which was stunningly lit up at dusk.

A lovely theatre, with friendly staff and many stations to purchase food, drinks and snacks. At prices you'd expect in a theatre. It's an old theatre so the seating is tight for anyone over the height of 5ft 8 I'd say. The guy next to us had to move a seat so he could stretch his legs down the aisle. But isn't that the charm of older buildings? It's like a labyrinth, up and down a few stairs. We had great, uninterrupted view of the stage (row J I think) And we're able to see Will Young and Evanna Lynch and the cast very well. Production was well done to. Lighting and sound were clear too. Would definitely visit again but wish for those of of us who would like to see/speak with the stars we didn't have the huge unsightly bins around (maybe a wooden structure could be made). Anyway, I got to see Will Young so I'm Very Happy.

Some Guys Have All the Luck - The Rod Stewart Story. Amazing show...looks like him, sounds like him, entertaining like him!! This was the view from Seat F5...you can see everything bar a small section of the top of the stage...well worth the money. Small theatre with a great atmosphere. Just beware of the toilets...they are tiny but very clean, so can't moan!

Six of us from my WI saw Calendar Girls the Musical. Great show! Great seats, staff all very pleasant etc. I hadn't been to TRW in at least a couple of decades, some of the group had never been, we all want to go back and see something else 😀

I had the pleasure of going to this lovely theatre to see ALADDIN. As soon as you get inside you can feel the friendly atmosphere and I can say it was projected to the audience from the cast . I have been going to pantomimes for years from the palladium down to small local productions & I can honestly say that this panto was the best I have ever been to with everyone laughing (young &old together) throughout the whole show. A big thank you to all the cast , you were all stars.an excellent production,I can't wait to book next year's panto. THANK YOU AGAIN

Amazing panto once again, gets better every year, and the cast never fails to make you laugh! Incredibly clean and tidy, great atmosphere and comfy seats. Great for adults and kids. We come every year, and it never fails to impress!

Been here a couple of times now and been lucky to see Sir Ian McKellen both times (Hamlet & The Cherry Orchard). Wonderful theatre, only small which makes it even more charming.. just felt totally immersed in the performances. Really nice part of the world to go for a bit of dinner first etc.. bar is easy to get to and get served at which is always a bonus.. will be back many times in the future I imagine!

I recently attended the Sleeping Beauty pantomime at the Theatre Royal Windsor and was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. The actors were all incredibly talented and brought their characters to life with enthusiasm and energy. The sets, costumes, and special effects were all top-notch and really added to the magic of the performance. One of the things I loved most about the pantomime was the audience participation - it was so much fun to boo and cheer along with the actors, and it was great to see both adults and children fully engaged in the experience. The Theatre Royal Windsor is a beautiful venue, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to spend an evening there, and I would highly recommend the Sleeping Beauty pantomime to anyone looking for a fun and festive outing.

We saw Roger Allam and Ian Mckellen in Frank and Percy, not only an excellent performance, what an honour! The theatre is as intimate as you'd want it, plenty of space, yet everyone can enjoy a good view of the stage.

Delightful theatre just below the Castle. We saw Ian McKellen and Roger Allam in the brilliant two-hander play "Frank and Percy". The theatre has a great bar for pre and interval drinks. Nice staff, particularly the guy in the entrance shop.

This is a great small venue. It is easy to find your way around with good signage. The staff and friendly and plentiful withe a bar & tea bar next to each other. I am happy every time I've visited. However I have seen Patrick Duffy twice recently and his voice appears to be very soft so that one can hardly hear him in his roles. A Massive contrast with his fellow actors. Perhaps, if he cannot project his voice any longer, he might consider limiting himself to the directors role.

Been here for a few performances the last being Aladdin. Classic Theatre. A bit dated but it gives you the feel of how it has always been. A part of history. Bravo.

After many years absence, we went back to the Theatre Royal to see 12 angry men. It did not disappoint and also did justice to the original 1957 film. Great cast and acting and a very subtle and effective setting on stage. The Theatre was, as remembered, welcoming and warm and the bar also had an excellent pianist to complete the atmosphere. Also very welcoming and pleasant staff members throughout. A great evening and great value for money too.

I am disabled which has happened very quickly. This time last year I was able bodied and independent David who is part of the front of house team was fabulous . He was caring , friendly and kind. He found a seat I could sit on prior to the auditorium opening. We went to see Calendar Girls on Saturday night. The show was very good but the staff were amazing. The theatre was warm and comfortable although quite small .I would go again and recommend it to family and friends.,

Lovely old theatre. Staff are really friendly and have a bit of a laugh with you as they show those needing assistance to their seats. Panto itself was very good and funny.

We saw Oh What a Lovely War - brilliant production. Not been to Theatre Royal Windsor before, really lovely venue. We sat in the front row of the Royal Stalls which gives extra legroom and a fabulous view. Highly recommend.

Great theatre. Pls note that some of the rows in the stalls are very snug, not all of them, but some - so it might be an issue for taller, bigger folks. Last time, I sat in the Royal Circle, front row and center, and it was perfect. Comfy and the view to the stage was incredible. Worth mentioning thar every single person I spoke with from the theatre staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Huge, quiet and astonishing park. If you enjoy a good walk you can easily workout different routes from few minutes to 3 hours. Be careful as you'll find horses, cyclists and sometimes even car and buses. Make sure you bring water in a hot day.

It was a great experience to be there it's organised once every year. So book the tickets in advance and also book the parking along with the tickets as its extra cost. You can spend around 2 to 3 hrs and it's a great experience. There are food and drinks available at the start and mid point, but as usual pay extra for that.

What a stunning place! 100%worth a trip! And if you have kids, take them to the adventure park located in there! Fantastic tree tops hikes with great slides (although beware of the swirly one at the left end, as I injured myself there!). We walked around the park for about 2 hours and found a food van in there and an ice cream van, as well as coffe and tea van. Great area with the kids, but it is huge! Take a picnic blank and enjoy the day! Oh, and let's mor forget the public toilets! I had never seen such clean public toilets in my life! They even smelt great! Really impressive. They all had baby changing areas too. What a great park!

Absolutely stunning park to visit with family, children or pets. It is ever so welcoming with all of its areas to accommodate such different interests, hobbies and pleasures. I have never seen so many sections all in one park like this park can offer before. From ancient ruins, flower/rose gardens, gorgeous lake, a lovely waterfall, areas for recreation, sport areas, fishing, the list goes on and on. I was so impressed and one could easily spend the whole day here. I would totally recommend this place even if you have to drive a while to get here.

I walked the long walk going to great park and it was wonderful! I took about 40 minutes going and 50 minutes coming back cause i have a knee problem and i need to walk more slow. The park ir realy great, as the name say, but you could enjoy more if you go on bike or if you are traveling by car, because its an extensive park and far away from Windsor

Part of the Crown Estate. We've visited here for many years and it never gets old. Beautiful place to walk, relax, or ride a bike. We always park at Watersplash lane on the Ascot side and walk in. If your energetic you can walk the full distance to Windsor Castle.

DISAPPOINTED! £70 for the playground adventure family ticket is a waste of money. Do not bother buying this. There are better parks out there and for cheaper. You can get a much better experience at Go Ape for half the cost. Website is misleading, did not state we have to pre book in advance until you go deeper into the links. You also have to pay separately for the Savill garden entry. Very overpriced!! Would not recommend.

A beautiful park, lake and gardens to enjoy walking or for picnics. A few cafe vans around and the cafes buildings as well. Always an enjoyable walk and friendly people with dogs all looking to enjoy the open space.

Beautiful place to unwind, relax and hear the birds sing! If you’re lucky you can catch a great sunset here too. Plenty of parking available, paths to walk on or places to just sit and chill.

A beautiful day to experience the Spring blossom and flowers . The Great Park is a wonderful place to visit throughout the year but especially at this time, when everything is coming back to life . So much to see and enjoy , the Valley gardens massed with daffodils and magnolia trees, the Savill garden, heather garden, lakes and Totem pole to name but a few. Huge variety of trees, shrubs and plants , something different to see wherever you walk. Enjoy a meal in the restaurant , or on the terrace overlooking Savill garden , have a wander round the shop full of beautiful gifts, cards and many other items. There is also a cafe on the other side of Virginia Water , close to the car park. So much for everyone to see and enjoy.

There's so much to do across Windsor Great Park. We live locally and we are always discovering new and exciting areas of nature. It's worth taking a walk to the Village in the centre, and you'll see some amazing areas - including the Post Office and General Store when the village was completed and the stone laid by King George VI (no Dogs Allowed!)

Great for a longish walk as you can easily do a 10 to 12km circuit and it's quite varied. I didn't pay to park (walked from a friend's house) but believe the southern car parks are quite expensive now. They already were when I took my mother a couple of years ago! Several kiosks and cafes on the eastern and southern sides. Not much north and west but you can pop into Windsor

Absolutely stunning, a very brief walk around a small portion of this great park. Lovely to see deer and stag roaming free. My first time seeing Windsor Castle, albeit from a distance, what a Goliath of a national monument.

Great walk and amble about . Lots of people , put wander off the main tracks , and you are there alone . Stunning views out to the Castle and all the way to the Shard and London Eye . Copper Horse Statue and King George III. George III (1738–1820) was born in Britain and spoke English as his first language. Early in his reign, Great Britain defeated France in the Seven Years’ War, becoming the dominant European power in North America and India. However, many of its American colonies were soon lost in the American War of Independence. The populace of New York City destroyed his equestrian statue, dedicated there in 1770, shortly after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, six years later.
Since George III suffered from recurrent, and eventually permanent, mental illness in the later part of his life, he played a minor role in the wars against Napoleonic France.

This was such a great night 🌙 we went to see illuminate in the park, which is an event held in different locations around England with different light shows. This one was a magical Forrest theme with fairys 🧚‍♂️ 👸 and talking trees 🌳 and lights synced to music 🎶 you can also cook marshmallows over a fire🔥 pit and there are places to stop mid route for a nice hot chocolate 🍫 or something else would definitely recommend a visit to one of these amazing shows. I will also be returning for a lovely 🚶‍♀️around the park when the show is over as i ❤️ nature

A lovely easy walk and great place in general, but don't go if you do not like dogs. Our 2 loved making new doggy friends. The lake walk is really nice, and I go right from the visitor centre and follow around roughly halfway before walking to the right hand side of the totem pole. Then I keep going, walk as far as the Guards Polo ground before going left, through the gates (cafe and WC here) and down through the trees where I end up back at the totem pole When allowing plenty of time for dogs to sniff, play and make friends, the walk can be about 90 mins long. But you can extend by following different paths - map easily downloaded from website.

Windsor great park is a huge park near Windsor open for free to the public. Best way to visit is to take the long walk from Windsor Castle and head to the statue of King George 3rd in the distance. From there you get fantastic views back to the castle and over to London. You can then walk thru the woodland and are likely to spot deer.

I went here last week. I didn’t research it properly first and it came as a surprise. This is not like the local parks or any other park I’ve been to before. It’s far bigger and much more varied. I walked around it, stopping and starting, for just under three hours. I barely saw a small fraction of it in this time. It’s got a quite a lot of different things to do, from places to get a drink and snack to a garden centre, wooded areas, ponds, a lake, flowered areas. I parked in one of the car parks, not thinking about where it was in relation to other things. I found it easy to get a space, but it was quite expensive. The signposts are fairly few and far between. If you want to see something specific, it would make sense to plan in advance how you’ll get to it including which car park you’ll go in and the route you’ll take to walk to it. You could easily spend a full day here. I only had a few hours but I wish I’d had more time. It’s very much worth bringing food and water and wearing comfortable clothes. Overall, a great place, but I recommend planning before you come here.

Usually go for a walk in the great park most weekends. Start at Cumberland gate, walk into deer park round past copper horse up to royal lodge then to savill gardens for coffee and walk back

It was a delightful experience to visit Royal Windsor Racecourse. Lots of free parking made arrival hassle-free, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There were amusement rides for kids. Lots of options available for food and drinks. Cards and cash both options are available for the bet on 🐎 Overall, it was a fantastic day out for the family. Highly recommended!

For such a lovely town you would expect the racecourse to be better than it is. Toilets were not maintained during the day. Shelter from poor weather is lacking. It could be a lovely course but it needs work. Other racecourses preferred

Really disappointed by the family fun day. We came with our 2 children. It was so busy that we didn't get to go on anything. Even the queues for ice cream were ridiculous. The only good thing was parking was free

This was our first time watching horse racing and we couldn’t have picked a better place to do it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They really added to the enjoyment of our day.

Attending the 2nd May 2022 Family Fun Day and what a disaster this is! 9 rides in total and hundreds of tickets sold, need I say more. At least they have a lot of space for the lines to actually do anything here. A complete waste of money and time. Never again!!!

Had a lovely day here last Monday evening. We had Grandstand tickets, plenty of space and good view of the track not to far from the finish. Lots of places to eat drink etc and they had a Vegas night on too which was great. Only problem was the bar staff in the main bar, couple were a little rude and they only had 4 staff on which is silly for a big race day! Surely you can afford a couple more staff for the day. But that was the only complaint

Fabulous racecourse. Lots of places to eat and drink. Easy to park and leaving was easy too, no delays. My only gripe, £31 entry costs and only 6 races..

We sponsored a race at Royal Windsor Racecourse and it was so much fun. Excellent organisation from the team at the racecourse and all of the staff were so friendly & professional on the day. We won our race so that was an added bonus!

Our recent visit to Royal Windsor Racecourse was a delightful experience. The ample free parking made arrival hassle-free, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The addition of amusement rides for kids added extra excitement. The only minor drawback was the limited selection of draught beer. Overall, it was a fantastic day out for the family. Highly recommended!

Monday evenings in summer, if you look for something nice with reasonable price here you are, Tickets are 22 and drinks are same price as other pubs, You can pay for tickets cash or card and there is massive free carpark out side with 8 min walk to the main venue. Good luck ☘️

We recently visited Windsor Racecourse to DJ for a corporate event. We supplied our white light up dance floor and disco and had a great night! All the staff were fantastic and we can't wait to come back again soon!

Short walk from town centre. A must visit if you are a beer fan. Great range of beers at reasonable prices. Friendly and knowledgeable/helpful staff. Spacious with outdoor seating too. Would highly recommend a visit. Food available too.

Excellent range of beers, great food, fantastic atmosphere. This is a proper Tap room. We had the dirty fries and the pork and Apple burger, washed down with some delicious beer brewed next door. All in a lovely, friendly vibrant atmosphere. Well worth a visit

Good tap room. The venue was hosting a live music event so the inside was packed, we sat out the front which was where I wanted to sit anyway. The brewery is clean and respectful. The beers were great and the selection was extensive. Avoid the food though, for a £14 burger the beef patty was terrible. Very thin and cheap tasting. I wish I had read review before ordering. It lost a star there This is a card only venue and I only really use cash now so it was a inconvenience to have to rely on my card. It lost a star here unfortunately. I would definitely recommend here and would like to come back when there isn't an event on.

My first visit to the Brewery Tap and I was impressed by the size and choice of cask ales. Good service and the choice of cask ales was good even if I suspect some of the pump clips were the normal beer with a Christmas theme added. I did like the Beamquake mulled apple beer. Very different in a nice way.

Visited Windsor & Eaton brewery and loved it. Great selection of beer, cider, etc. We had two flight boards and enjoyed all the drinks. Staff are extremely friendly. Beers are inexpensive. Parking nearby. Didn’t have any food, but the menu looked nice.

Windsor and Eton brewery tap has a large selection of ales (~20, a combination of cask key keg) served as well as food options. There is also mezzanine level that can be booked for private party's.

Beautiful tap room, within sight of Windsor castle. I had two pints of beautifully kept ale, including one coronation ale. There are tables inside and out. Take out draught and cans are also available. Very much recommended.

Very good selection of beers and the food is good too. We ordered the jalapeño poppers and chunky chips and they went down a treat with our beers. The prices are really reasonable and the staff are really nice too. Also, if you get a chance to do the tour of the brewery it's really fun and prepare to be just a little bit tipsy! Tip - get the Conqueror beer on tap but even in the bottle it's lush.

We’re incredibly lucky to done in on Barnes Night with haggis and a bag piper however as we were on holiday, we had ZERO Scottish knowledge for trivia! Severely limited menu but easy to get to and a gigantic drinks list!

Great beers and ciders. Food was amazing too! Love the street food vibe, especiallt the loaded fries. The secret sauce they do is to die for. Only wish the pork belly we had wasnt as salty!

Fun place, enjoyed their local brews including the Keller bier which must be part of their Octoberfest event featuring quite a few German beers. Good food, we had the pretzel, Mac N cheese and pork schnitzel. And best of all, live music by the Squirts, a fun duo.

The sensitivity they show to the uniform is very nice. They also analyzed the Seljuk education system very well. There are still a few educational institutions similar to this school in Istanbul.

Love this school very much my grandson goes here and he says it's very enjoyable though my granddaughter wishes she could go here with her older brother but my step son dose still find this school a lovely school and in his words "well finde bread of a school" what ever that may mean :⁠-⁠)

The heart of the English establishment, this institution has seen several prime ministers and prominent public figures educated here. Steeped in proud history and traditions, the location and buildings are second to none and well worthwhile visiting to take in the atmosphere of the environment, albeit many areas are obviously off limits to the general public. Was impressed with everything here on our visit and it certainly left it's mark on me. An amazing place to visit!

A wonderful environment - so full of charm and character. The College grounds were closed to the public today so that was disappointing (though understandable). The town is a breath of fresh air from big box stores and chains.

In 2023 they still educate kids in a very Eastern Asian way, with a text book based education, this is very old fashions and does not equip students with necessary skills to cope with the modern world.

During my time at Eton, some of the most important things I learned are that Australia is wider than the moon, and if you're peeling oranges, wash your hands before you handle the gerbil.

Only did a drive by on the hop on hop off bus tour. Buildings look beautiful and there are tours available.

I loved to see the statue of the queens jubilee we wanted to see some pretty places and got just that surrounding the station. The rain was a huge contributing factor for the location. We knew that we could nip in and out of the shops which were in close proximity to each other. A great place to come and visit no matter the weather.

Basic one platform station at end of shop and restaurant arcade. Definitely an improvement on the old station . Frequent trains to Slough with connection to London. Right in the centre of Windsor so easy access to the castle,river and shops etc.

Interesting place to visit in Windsor situated by the castle. It used to be a train station but is now a very busy place full of touristy shops, cafes and restaurants. Can particularly recommend the Cinnamon Cafe which serves great coffee and excellent cakes, is usually very busy.

One of the most beautiful stations in England hands down. There's a lot of historical elements from the old royal train to the nicely decorated buildings and I absolutely love it for that! It's also full of restaurants and shop and it also partially covered which really helps when it's raining or cold outside. It's also quite convenient as there are frequent trains to Slough that then connect you to Central London. They're also really friendly at the tickethall and they have toilets that work for the good part of the day.

One of the most interesting aspects of this place is that the post boxes are not red. The area is extremely lively. There are plenty of shops and several places to have a meal. There was a monument commemorating The Diamond Jubilee, which was very interesting to see.

Had a wander around the shops in the stations. Lovely and quaint as the buildings have all been preserved. Great atmosphere right b fire Christmas. Plenty of restaurants to choose from to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Many small cafeterias inside, also restaurants. A nice way to spend time waiting on the train to arrive.

Very picturesque department store with unique architecture, built just opposite the castle entrance. My favorite store is the one with the weird American candies you can't find in Europe. A 40 pound bill is the right number to get your kids excited !!! The shop accidentally employs a very kind English girl from Greece.

Cutest railway station with so many shops and cafes. Loved it. Nearby attractions👉🏻Windsor castle, museum, high st and the long walk. One day trip to windsor is enough.

My friend and I booked onto a 2 hour hack with Tally Ho and we had the best time! From the moment we arrived, all the staff were so welcoming and lovely to us! I rode a horse called Rosie who was a dream to ride! The hack itself was lovely, amazing scenery and our guide was lovely and took such care with our group. I highly recommend whether you’re a beginner or advanced, it is so worth it! Thank you so much Tally Ho, we will definitely be returning :)

We were absolutely delighted to have found Tally Ho Stables, the horses were fabulous and the staff were all so lovely. My husband has never ridden before and I am a very experienced rider therefore, you couldn't get more polar opposites! This was not an issue for Tally Ho and the staff were so accommodating and took us out with two escorts who provided us with individualised and (more importantly!) an enjoyable ride around the park. We will definitely be back for more hacks with the team in Windsor Park! Thank you everyone at Tally Ho!

Can honestly say this was such a wonderful experience. The whole team where amazing, from my first email to the return from our hack, nothing was ever too much trouble. They took so much time and effort into making this special for my mum, sister and I. The horses were all so well behaved and well looked after. Our guide was lovely and made us feel so comfortable on the ride and we were able to take everything at our own pace, as well as taking lots of photos to capture the moment. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back. Thank you once again, a fantastic business!

Felt incredibly well-cared-for as a beginner, thanks to Jenny and ride leader Ed. We went out for two hours, all over the park, and I just had the absolute best time with Ed and good boy Troy the horse. I'd love to come back and would recommend everyone to go. Unforgettable birthday!

Absolutely recommend for riders who may feel a little nervous. Everyone in the yard were very friendly, and made us feel at ease. My friend and I went for a two hour ride in Windsor Great Park yesterday for my birthday. It was so beautiful. The horses were very well behaved and Jenny was a fantastic guide, with lots of knowledge on the tour, and she made us feel very relaxed after returning to riding after 20 odd years! The park and scenery are beautiful, and the sun was shining, perfect! Already looking forward to our next ride! Thank you!

Fabulous stables. Jen and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Asked for a lively horse and that's exactly what I got in Jack. Our guide Ed was very good and informative. The horses are all lovely and well cared for. Great Windsor Park is second to none. Will definitely return. Worth every penny.

Amazingly calm therapeutic ride through Windsor Great Park with very knowledgeable guide and lovely friendly horses. Recommend a ride in Autumn to see leaves changing, with great views and a photo stop at a statue. Helps to bring perspective to hectic, stressful lives.

Well run stables in a stunning location. Friendly staff and lovely horses to go riding around the beautiful Great Park. Our ride leader was great, Oscar the pony such a delight and we had great fun.

Awesome place for a horse ride through the Great Park. They will accommodate all levels, advance riders can canter, beginners take a nice slow stroll. Has a pub near by and the park is walking distance of some members of a party don’t want to ride. Everyone can go to the stable and find something to do.

Second time visiting these stables in windsor. The weather was shocking but its England. A very happy daughter. She had a fantastic time. Great horses nice people. We will return

Small and underwhelming. We made a trip here especially. What a waste of time. But… if we didn’t do it we wouldn’t know that this is one place one can give a miss. Shop bit is small. Toilets are old. Cafe bit is eclectic which I do like. Table service only but slow although many servers. Food mediocre. Hid the burnt toast under the prawn cocktail. Disappointing. This garden centre would be an ‘aside’ to the Dorney Court mansion. But that’s now shut. So… don’t make a trip here. Nothing around as well.

We had a really lovely time here after a walk at Boveney today. Great place with a lovely atmosphere, delicious food (we had the lentil and spinach curry and rice) great coffee and friendly, efficient service. They welcome dogs here too which is a bonus (though on this occasion ours were so muddy that we opted to leave them in the car!) Will definitely be back soon.

Love this place. More than just a garden centre. The planted areas are so pretty and all the displays are beautifully put together. The café serves great quality hot and cold food. Plenty of seating inside and outdoors. There's a lovely play area for kids too. Service is very good and despite being busy the food was served quickly. The shop has lots of gifts and the usual garden centre items. Definitely worth a visit

I cannot express how helpful staff were, first a lady helped me get a last minute gift, went to the restaurant they were on a change over from breakfast to lunch so not cooking. Gentleman went back and spoke to chef who cooked me a breakfast roll. After long 5 hour journey down it was great to find helpful people, lovely food and a nice pot of tea.

This is a superb place to visit. The site is stunning, with a walled garden. Dogs on leads are welcome and also allowed in the cafe. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. We only had coffee, but the food coming from the kitchen looked amazing! There's a car park adjacent to the venue. I would imagine this is a popular place with walkers and bikers, as there are places for bikes. Nearby is Dorney Lake, so you could have a great walk followed by delicious refreshments.

We enjoyed our coronation lunch of quiche followed by a cream tea. Oh but the wisteria arches were so so beautiful. The music in the walled garden was delightful...such a lovely place in which to spend thd bank holiday.

Decent garden centre, it's not that big, the plants are of decent quality, above the usual stuff you see at garden centres. There's plenty of parking, the cafe gets very busy and is popular so if you intend to eat here then arrive early. Service is a little slow but food is good and reasonably priced. Staff in the garden centre and cafe are helpful and friendly.

We visited the cafe for a drink and cake. The staff were excellent, very attentive. The cakes were OK but some were disappointing. The sticky toffee pudding was very odd indeed! The weather was atrocious so unfortunately our browse around the centre was very limited

Lovely display of different kind of plants, some of them you can only find at Crocus. Staff is helpful, smiling and knowledgeable. The restaurant has a good variety of tasty food and the waitresses are professional and friendly. Bonus: end of season's sales

There's a massive selection of plants with a sale on when I was there. We had a drink and cake at the cafe which was a lovely experience. It's table service which was very quick and staff most welcoming. There's a good range of food on the menu from cakes, to sandwiches and right up to main meals. The burgers looked huge as one was brought past. I had a tart which was delicious. The garden centre main indoor shop had lots if interesting bits for the home and garden.

Absolutely wonderful, I've not had a roast dinner that good in a while- there was plenty on the plate but not too much and it was quality food. I don't normally enjoy roast chicken as much as beef, lamb etc but this was top notch, beautifully fluffy potatoes, roasted vegetables, excellent Yorkshire pudding and delicious gravy. I will come again and try more of the menu when I'm able to!

Why O why do they keep locking the gates? And why do they have "no paddling" signs? The children love to paddle if they have the chance; I think it must be administered by a lot of killjoys who forget they ever were children.

Fantastic fountain commissioned in 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Looks amazing both day & night when illuminated and worthwhile checking out when visiting Windsor. The landscaping, construction and timed water flow sequences have all been carefully considered and is just such a great feature to see. Highly recommened to visit!

The water smells extremely disgusting it never use to be like that but it is now, also thier are dead flys, rocks and more in the water, I don’t recommend it any more (date: 9 August 2023) it’s free of cost but really smelly and dirty.. used to love coming here but this time extremely disappointed

On your way to the castle take a look at this beautiful fountain

It is a very small but somehow posh little park with a fountain in the middle of it. It is clean and very well maintained. The only downside is the traffic. The location is great as it is very close to Windsor Castle, Alexandra Park, and the River Thames.

Amazing fountains. Well maintained grounds near Windsor castle. Have been closed for my last few visits in the area but this time it was open and I really enjoyed it here. Highly worth a visit if in the area. Looks amazing during the day and night. Kids loved the illuminated fountains. Lovely place to have a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Kids loved it too.

I visited today and I loved it , I took my dog in and i spent some time talking to the volunteers/staff who were really friendly and welcoming. It's a free of charge little exhibition and very interesting. As for the people who say "it's just a little room" 🙄. It's free entry and contains ancient artifacts, what's not to like.

Great little museum with lots of local history in a pretty historic building, sadly we missed out on the up stairs section of the building as there was a lot of renovations going on but that can only be a good thing in the long run, the audio guide was really good and informative, it was a little humorous in places too, I'll have to go back and see what it's like when it's finished.

Free entry (which is very welcome when staying in and around Windsor) to a small but important slice of British history... Every exhibit was fascinating. The tribute to the WW2 Hurricane and its inventor was my favourite.

Windsor museum, quite packed during the weekend, lots of interesting mideval history...

Albeit a small museum, I enjoyed learning about many things while I was visiting. A big thank you to Douglas (a volunteer) who chatted to me about local history. Worth a visit!

It’s a sweet museum with lots of interesting items and information, however the staff were very rude. We accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up in an area next to museum (the doors were open and there were no signs to say this was not part of the museum) and was greeted by a very standoffish member of staff, we asked if this was part of the museum and was rudely told to get out and we felt there was quite a hostile attitude towards us. This was rather disappointed after having to wait 10 minutes because they were late to open the doors.

I walked in, imagining a museum. It wasn't free. I had to come back with cash after finding an ATM. As much as I like museums, galleries and other cultural places, this one cannot qualify as a museum. It's a single room. Not much larger than a living room with some photos, posters, screens and some odd objects. After a minute, that was it. I have seen everything and there were no other rooms. I still tried to search for anything worthwhile, but apart from reading posters and staring at some old objects, there was nothing exciting at all.

small museum next to the castle however the staff were SUPER RUDE. They were prepping for an event and were talking about us visitors, how much we were in their way and “how people cannot read” like we were not there infront of them listening or could not understand english! the museum is small so of its too crowded just close it off. bitter taste after the amazing visit to the castle.

Lovely little museum! Spent ages here with 7year old. He did some colouring, played with castle toy, played with Duplo and jigsaw of crest, space chase fact hunt, dressed up as along, I liked headsets we were given to use, and we did tour of guildhall. Staff were so lovely and helpful! Only small museum but they've managed to utilise space and activities really well! Highly recommend!!!
