This is an exceptional art of the nature for sure. It is good that I went there during winter because in summer it is packed. Take the small boat to the island and enjoy every moment whilst you are there.

A wonderful place, a fairytale. If you are in Slovenia or somewhere near, you should go there. Beautiful lake, nice castle and in the middle of the lake you have the only isle that Slovenia has. Only one but magical.

Beautiful scenery, lovely boat ride, nice little wander. We arrived early around 0900 and was much better for photos and for the heat, when we were leaving around 1300 it was much busier and very humid.

Truly one of my favorite places in Slovenia. You need to take the boat to go to the island. It's a wooden boat driven by man power. You just sit there and enjoy the view and the moment. The island is delightful. The church (one of 3000 in Slovenia) is beautiful and if you ring the church bell you get your wish. You can also go the the Church Tower that I skipped as I have a fear of height, my friends did and loved the view. The ice-cream shop has a great selection and I loved the raspberry cheesecake brand. Truly a must visit

Beautiful lake with amazing blue water. Rather smaller but still fascinating. We have visited it during early spring time with nice sunny weather which was added value. The little island in the middle is very picturesque and ideal for making photos. The best view is from higher point. Recommended.

As majestic and beautiful as it is down in the pictures! This is our second trip and our timing could not have been better! No tourists, no crowds! We visited on a Sunday in February, streets were empty but boats to the island and all attractions were open. Weather was very nice! We enjoyed a great quiet walk all around the lake of 6km path. We took the Pletna to the island, had coffee there, walked around and enjoyed the magnificent scenery! A beautiful and a must see attraction if you have never been. Even in the winter, it is beautiful!

Gorgeous place. Do note that in order to get to the house on the hill, you either need to hike 15 min, walk up the road or take a buggy. The buggy is expensive, so do bring sturdy shoes if you plan you walk all the way up.

Nice scenery but very overrated compared to other lakes . The gondola ride to the island is super expensive ($18 per person ). Better to rent the boat yourself but be careful to not go close to these gondolas as they are ready to charge your 100 euros if you even touch them . The island is nice but again overpriced for a small church with wishing bell and a small bell tower . The bled fort is also overrated .

Life goal retire here. Reminds me of my grandfather’s cabin in the mountains of New York, USA. Ah it was so beautiful. Water really is a blue green color. It’s not camera filtering trick in photos. And you can see straight through it a good 4ft deep. Absolutely amazing scenery. Must visit the island and get ice cream and take photos.

Beautiful lake with a castle (church) at the middle. There are few beaches around the lake, and you can even rent a Sap, or small boats and reach the castle's island at the middle. You should really visit this amazing place.

Looks like something out of a fairy tale and is in a very serene setting. It obviously is is a popular vacation destination by virtue of all the nice lodging going around the lake. There is a trail around the lake, but we chose to take a boat to the island, then hike up to the castle. But it into a very big lake and there were people walking and biking around at a leisurely pace. It is every bit as beautiful as all the pictures you have probably seen.

A must visit place. It has a spectacular panoramic view of the lake with the icy mountain background. A walk around the lake will make you feel very great. Overall has a breathtaking view and "A Walk To Remember".

A very picturesque place. You can either go round the lake by foot or car. You need to be there to submerge in its beauty. However you need to park a distance in one of those public carparks.

Such a beautiful lake, with an amazing little island which needs to be visited... ideally hire a rowing boat and go and ring the bell in the church on the island... and don't forget to make a wish. Its such a magical experience.

Obligatory to see during visit in Slovenia. Great views, especially from castle level. I takes around 1.5 hours (6 km) to walk around the lake and take some pictures.

The most beautiful place in Slovenia. The scenery is breathtaking. I visited early September and it wasn’t too busy. I recommend to rent a kayak and go to the small island.

Nice view!! There is a church in the center of the bled lake. From the info we got that the blade lake is one of the top europe destinations many years ago. Bled area was president Tito residence

Its beauty absolutely blew me away. I should have come 10 years ago if I knew I would experience anything like that. The views from the castle were good. However, you should take fairytale pictures from the boardwalk near the Olympic Rowling Training ground.

Photos and videos taken in May 2023. I took a bus from Ljubljana to Bled. The bus ticket was so cheap during the weekend. I bought it from bus ticket office in Ljubljana and paid €2.20 (included 60 cents processing fee). Bus ticket from Bled to Ljubljana was €1.60, bought directly from the driver. It was raining when I arrived at Bled. Eventhough my pants and shoes were wet from the rain, I was very happy that I visited Bled, beautiful lake with amazing mountains view.

I don't think pictures or words can describe the beauty of this place. It's just amazing. It's a great place to spend a few hours in the nature, to just relax and enjoy the sound of the river. Notice that the starting path is a one way travel. To return to the parking spot, you have several options. We chose the red path, which is a 45 minutes walk through the forest. This was also a really nice activity.

We went there with friends and kids. It was november and after rains. Few days ago we visited Tolminska korita which had bigger wow effect on us. This is nice walk but not worth 40 eur, incl. Parking. We used the red path on the way back via Blejska dubrava. It is a regular walk through forrests, nothing spectacular. There is a nice bridge and waterfall at the end of george but that is all. Also the parking was quite chaotic. I have a feeling this is a tax for being close to Bled.

Ridiculously beautiful walk along the river showing nature at her best with running water, waterfalls, moss, a variety of flowers and clean fresh air. The walk is fairly easy and not far. Worth noting however that it is a one way trip and that you are either going to do a 45 minute. Modernate walk back (which is also gorgeous as the path we took had views of the city Bled and fields of cows) or you are going to pay for a taxi. Best come prepared for a longer hike.

Very beautiful trail, well maintained and absolutely worth the few coins. One small thing that we would have liked to know up front is, that it's only a one way trip. So you walk a beautiful gorge trail made of wood pathways on the cliff side, just to walk back via a random trail and road which isn't all that beautiful. There is an opportunity to take a transit back to where you started the gorge but we did not take it. We had a really good time enjoying the beauty of the gorge.

Everything it advertises and more. This Stunning piece of nature is a must see when going to Slovenia. It's a paid entry but I get why the route is clean and well maintained. You have to pick a time slot so that it doesn't get crowded and that seems to work! Nice views and you have a mixture of sun and shade, ideal for warmer days where you will appreciate the spray from the falls

Very beautiful place. Must visit if you are nearby. It takes about 2 hours to walk red (shorter) route. We had P1 parking, which is near entrance. It's quite small so in weekends and holiday season P3 is recommended.

Very nice distress. Tickets can be bought online or on the spot. It's more convenient online. parking is available before the rush hour. The walk is not very difficult, also suitable for families with children. it is possible to return via two circuits. It is beautiful.

A breathtaking, must visit place in all seasons. Since it is one of Slovenia’s most popular attraction is does get very busy. If you really want to enjoy your time in the Vintgar Gorge it is recommended to get there either right after opening or about 2 hours before closing. Avoid weekends and holidays, if you can. When I say it does get busy I mean it! The gorge is one-way. On the way back to the parking lot take the green trail. It’s a bit longer than the red one, but the view is well worth the extra steps! Enjoy!

A must do attraction!! We visted the gorge at the end of April 2022 and thought it was the perfect start to our trip to Slovenia. The gorge is breathtaking with the boardwalk taking you right over the crystal clear water. We then crossed the river and returned via a trail on the West side of the gorge, taking around 90-120mins in total. Highly recommend this site.

Beautiful walk in nature for 2-3 hours. We did it right after the rainfall so the water was wilder than normal. Put on decent shoes (sneakers will do, but no flip flops). There is a place where you can drink halfway. Two options will lead you back to the entrance. Option 1 is shorter (2.7km) and faster, but has more elevation, including various stairs. Option 2 is 4.1km, and easier to do. The down side of Option 2 is that it will take longer. Since it is close to Lake Bled, the combination of both on one day, works very well.

10€ each and another 10€ to park. Not worth 30€. The gorge is beautiful, but considering it's not that long and it's only one way so you have to walk a different way back. It just isn't a good value. Lots of other beautiful hikes in the area that are free.

A most beautiful canyon and lovely hike along it. It's one way only (down the river), thus going back requires going uphill along different route. About 2-3 hours all together

This place is definitely worth a visit , a wonderful walk around all the waterfalls and mountains. The views were breathtaking. Took about an hour to do the walk was totally amazing and definitely worth it. Not to be mossed

The natural beauty of this place is simply brilliant. Visiting in September was a great decision; while the car park was bustling, we had a serene walk through the gorge with no crowd hassles. Getting tickets at the main entrance was a breeze. It will take you around 2-3 hours to the whole round trip as the actual gorge is on a one way system. I highly recommend following the green route to get back to the car park. It includes some nice views and grazing cows, sheep and horses. For prices: parking was €10 and entry is €10 per person. If the main area is full, there is also a extended car park accessible by a free shuttle bus that I believe comes every 20 min.

The gorge is beautiful, everyone should see it in person. You can walk with your dog on a lead. The green trail back to the entrance has a very nice view.

Beautiful gorge with expensive parking, 10€. Be aware, that the gorge boardwalk is one way. You have to hike back to the parking lot over half an hour. There is a shuttle option, but the hike back is not so hard. There are at the end to nice location to rest. One directly at the end of the gorge's boardwalk and one 10 min walk away.

Now this is a place one definitely needs to be well aware of the details n route. 1. The tickets and walkway along the Gorge is ONLY ONE WAY. at the end of the Gorge one has to Trek back from a long circuitous route through forest. Pleasent and enjoyable only if one is prepared for the 4.5 km trek.

BUY ONLINE TICKETS IN ADVANCE! That's the best tip I can give you in case you don't want to spend an hour in the line. Also, arrive as early as possible. We were there at 9:30 and there was already a lot of people. Still, it was super worth it! Also: bring hiking shoes and know that you might get a bit wet (it's not that bad). Totally worth it to pay it a visit!

Castle of Bled is one of the most beautiful place in the world. You can park near the castle with car, but rarely you can find parking place, because there are usually a lot of people. The other way to come by walk and park near the lake, it’s not so easy too, but fortunately we found a parking place. The castle is on the top of the hill. You can buy the ticket near the entrance. You can drink coffee or eat something inside the castle, if you want and of course you can buy some gifts in the shop. The view is amazing nice from the castle wall and from bastion. Definitely worth to visit :)

Awesome castle with incredible views of the surrounding and lake Bled below. Highly recommend to start at the bottom on lake Bled with a water activity (Boat or kayak) and then come up to Bled castle to see the view . You can spend quite some time learning about the local history as well as there is a small museum of sorts. Very cool activity and place to visit

Beautiful castle, great and informative museum with a varied exposition ranging from ancient history, geology and fossils to medieval artifacts. Breathtaking views. The walk to the castle was steep but short on mud and stairs. Entrance 15 euro per adult. The long coffee at the small coffee shop was not good, pretty watery and served in a paper cup.

The Castle is a bit of a hike up the hill, but once you get up there you will get some amazing views of the lake. You get the best views of the entire lake, the island and the surrounding mountains providing all the instagram shots. There is a cafe if you need a drink or something to eat as well.

We had a wonderful time here! The place is not incredibly large, but you cn spend a lot of time. The view is great, you can serve food or just an espresso with some cake. Definitely worth visiting so give yourself some hours to really take in what the castle has to offer.

What a magical place !!! The trek up to this castle is totally worth it for the stunning views of the lake bled you get to see. It's a must visit and if you are not willing to walk uphill it is accessible by car. There is an entrance fee to get in but trust me the views alone are priceless. There is this sweet souvenir shop where they print your name on handmade papers. If not to buy its a cool store to visit.

I visited here in winter (End of Feb) Pros: No crowded, Private Cons: There is no boat to go to the church The castle has a museum inside which full of historical stuff. Had so much fun around. Recommend to walking up there to warm your body up also seeing views along the way

Such a magical location with an absolute stunning view from all sides! Blue waters, green forest, small pretty island, castle on top of the cliff, beautiful church emerging from the green.. you cannot get more than this! Pictures cannot properly show how beautiful the lake is, if you are thinking of traveling there, just go for it and enjoy the view!

How can you not visit here...? One of the most famous castles in Europe, and for sure Slovenia! Perched way up on the hill overlooking the lake, it is amazing. The exibits are really neat to see and incorporated into the actual location which is super cool. Very nice restaurants and snacks await you up top while you look out over the lake at an incredible view!

Came here at the end of the peak season. No waiting, very little people in the castle in the afternoon past 15:00. Wonderful views of the lake from the top. Plenty of parking along the way to the castle. Dog friendly, however they can't enter the inside of the castle but can stay around the restaurant.

We chose to drive up in a car hire and park just below the castle. There were a few spaces and reasonable pay and display prices. There is a nice small coffee bar right on the edge of the castle in the courtyard with the amazing views. Quite expensive for a lemonade but you’re paying for the view which we felt was worth it. Worth asking for student discount even if you don’t have a student pass but are at school and over 14.

Oldest castle in Slovenia. It was built in 1011 and that's only a reason to visit. It is well preserved and most part can be visited. Two rooms served a museum with exhibits and one a a gallery featuring local artists. One room is dedicated to printing with a replica of Gutenberg wooden press. Great views of the lake bled and the island. There is a restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the view

Always wanted to go here. Best moment of my life. The stairs to the top had me breathing like a pregnant cow but it was worth it. There are however, other options to get to the top so you can explore that. You need tickets (which are affordable) to get in and there have audio guide qr codes throughout the castle to help you listen on your phone. An awesome way to wrap my year!

Awesome place! I like how it's looks now, super accurate and cleaned, and people taking care of the castle. It's respectful! Here is the perfect view on a lake, mountains, and villages around. Nature makes it unbelievable! Also here is a small cafe on a territory with good coffee and an amazing view. And a big restaurant inside the castle. Good and clean toilets and whole territory.

Worth the row! We rowed across to the island and spend some time exploring, as well as getting an ice cream. We decided not to visit the church due to the cost and previous reviews, but visiting the island was a good experience itself.

Beautiful island in the lake with a monastery! Adds a nice touch to the beautiful lake. It's quite bare and brown/grey in winter so if you want nice green photos you need to go in later spring/summer

Such an amazing view. When visiting ljubljana, you better passby lake bled for this amazing view. Very picturesque and instagram worthy. They have boats (manually maneuvered) which are quite expensive (15eur) if you wanna have a quick visit to the lake bled island which hosts a church. The island alone is very small and you can literally finish it within less than 10min. But the important feature you are paying, is the view. Especially if you are into taking shots. If not, then basically nothing to see on the island and just take some good shots around the lake.

The island is very small. There is a small coffee shop and a souvenirs shop. And a church :) We got a motor boat that took us to the island - its' cheaper and quicker than the manual one. We spent 1 hour on the island - had icecream and took some amazing photos.

This is a total let down. There is nothing great on the island. Just an ice cream and coffee shop. Views are better of the island than from it. The pletna boat is a tourist trap at 18 euro a head. It's a rip off. If you don't have Fomo, then avoid this waste of time. Go for a trail instead from where you can see the lake nicely. Go to the castle and enjoy the view of the island. Much better.

Bled Island is worth a visit but it is a bit of a tourist trap. The fees to enter the church is a bit pricy. The boat ride over is an extra cost but is worth it for a unique experience

You can be rowed to the island, take a "normal" boat, or hire a boat and row yourself. I just admired the island from afar while I walked round the whole lake. Gorgeous views.

It is totally an amazing experience. Take the boat to the island. Visit the church, museum and enjoy the sight. For me it was breathtaking.

If I’m honest, this is a big let down and a rip off to get onto this tiny island for nothing much to see. Spent eur18 to take the boat and another eur12 to go into the church and museum (I saw old posting states price used to be half of that). I’ll not recommend to visit.

I think it’s an average lake with too much effort to reach there .. specially if you coming from far. We visited in April and it was not as green and weather was not great either .. may be that added to the experience .. but other we had a good time.

Great fun. The toboggan run is so much fun and it gets up to some pace as well! It's very popular so you can be waiting a while to get onto the toboggan. There is a nice bar to have a drink to take in the views whilst waiting though. Great views of Bled lake from the top of the ski slope.

One of the most pleasant and striking places on earth! There's a ton of hiking, biking, water activities and an adventure park.

So much fun. Totally worth the money. Not only for children but also adults. The toboggan ride can be really fast since you decide when to brake and slow down. I recommend buying two rides minimum. The view from up there is magnificent. The staff is not only friendly but always smiling and joking around. It's an overall amazing experience.

The view is okay - personally I don’t think it’s the best view of the lake. But the toboggan run is a lot of fun! And you can walk around the park which is lovely too.

Wonderful place with wonderful landscape. Adventure Park is very funny for families and summer toboggan is stunning. Highly recommended!

Partaking in the Bled experience is truly delightful. The organizers exhibit exceptional kindness and assistance in ensuring your safety and comfort. Opting for a walk to the summit instead of waiting for the ski lift not only saves time but also offers the opportunity to capture various perspectives of Bled. This brief hike proves to be a valuable and rewarding endeavor.

Definitely a must do when in Bled. Fantastic views, the chairlift is a bit slow but we ski so for non skiers it’s probably the right speed. The luge was really fun and easy to control. There is a lovely bar at the bottom for a beer in the sun after a day of fun.

You take a chairlift ride up, and a toboggan slide down. Recommend 2 runs! Can pay by cash or cards. Really fun! Great views at the top too :) Young children can ride with adults or at least another person at least 15 years old.

Fantastic views from the top of the cable car and the summer toboggan is awesome fun for all ages. A nice cafe at the bottom for a drink too. There were also great looking zip lines at the top although not open when we went. Well worth a visit!

So much fun! A great thing to do for a few hours while visiting Bled! There was a big parking lot and the ticket counter was just a short walk from there. After buying tickets, you wait in line for the ski-type lift to get to the top of the coaster. We were there in August and it took awhile to get into the lift. Once at the top, there’s a gorgeous view of the lake. Our kids (10 and 13) rode alone. Kids 8 and under had to ride with an adult. There’s a camera just before the end so be sure to smile! We bought photo magnets at the end which were very reasonably priced (€3-4 each). A great way to spend a few hours - fun for the whole family!

Great fun! We did the toboggan and had a blast. The ski lift gives great views and there is a viewing platform before you head down on the toboggan, can really get some speed up as you whizz down

Such a beautiful national park. Perfect for hikers of road trippers as there are roads to get in it. It has numerous hikes for all level of hikers and is also perfect for 1 to 2 days road trip. Located near bled and easily accessible. Some town are located in it.

Green and clean, amazing nature, discover beautiful mountain pastures and lakes. If you go hiking, be careful, ask at local turist board and weather conditions, during summer afternoon short storms can appear very quickly

One of the parks that makes Slovenia as beautiful as it is. A true paradise for all nature enthusiasts. I recommend!

100% recommended. The raised boardwalk one-way trail is really neat, however, word of caution.... looping back up the slope and along the forest road requires exercise. Similar to climbing a 60-story building elevation.

Always great to hike any part of TNP. All the paths are well maintained and the mountain trails well marked. If you are hiker, just take few days to explore wonderful waterfalls, pristine glacier lakes, and white summits of Julian Alps

One of the best parks I have ever been too. Worth a visit for a few days or weeks if you are in the area. So many hiking trails, water sports, and biking opertunities. Lots of small towns to stop in for snacks. Next time, I hope to check out backpacking to the different huts in the mountains.

The Triglav National Park is indeed a very nice place to visit for everyone who likes hiking. The nature is beautiful and there are a lot of places to visit for people with different levels of experience and physical conditions. You will definitely need at least 10 days to visit the main attractions. However, what I did not like is the necessity to pay for everything, especially parking. Sometimes it can be very expensive. Also the tourist services are not as developed as in the Austrian Alps. Some of the roads should be maintained better but there are lots of road works in progress so it will definitely get better. Still, we enjoyed our holidays and may come back in the future.

An absolutely stunning National Park. The mountains are incredible - lots of trails that are well marked and maintained. Very steep hills (definitely bring some food and drink).

Nice climb up the mountain, relatively easy for such a high mountain. Do bring enough food and both summer and winter clothes. The path is already set out to follow and even made easier with metal bars in the stone for climbing.

Beautiful spot for a walk n explore, if you rent a row boat the mooring is around the back of the island (opposite side of main steps). You can use a drone here and it’s a great place to feed to the ducks so don’t forget the stale bread. Wonderful coffee and gelato shop and plenty of spots to sit.

Very touristy... 18 euro for a 10 minute boat trip, you get 40 minutes on the island, not a minute more. If your mobility isn't good, it might take 10 minutes or more to climb up, so you end up with 10-15 minutes to view the tiny church on the inside, for which they dare to charge another 12 euro. All in all a nice, quick trip, but very commercialized and you are basically hurrying to see anything. Note, this was outside high season so the number of visitors wasn't very high at all. The boat trip itself is the highlight and worth it. The church is not particularly special. The castle at the other side of the lake has great views down onto the lake. You might want to do that instead.

This is a beautiful little place to visit so my 3star rating is once there and up the stairs there isn’t really anything else to do it costs money to go up the tower and to ring the wishing bell 🔔 too much really views from the tower ain’t anything special so unless you really wanna pull on the bell and make your wish come true then don’t bother . Nonetheless the row boat out to the island and the whole idea of it and the scenery still makes it a worthwhile trip . Note give the bell a miss and forget the tower but the overall trip out to the island and bk is worth it

Beautiful church and surroundings, worth a visit! I do agree that it is a bit expensive, but for the money payed you can see inside of the church (ring the bell 3 times to make a wish;), clocktower and museum

Very nice view and panorama from here. A bit expensive all you can buy on this little island in the middle of Bled lake. Only you can access by boat. Of course you can rent a boat, we did, we were four, 20 euro for 1 hour, not too easy but funny and relaxing. You can do it as well. Enjoy it.

Neat little church on a small island in Lake Bled which can be accessed by personal boat or ferry. Admission fee seemed a bit much for the interior, as the views of the exterior were more impressive.

So overrated. The crossing by boat cost a lot, then you can visit the church and it costs also a lot. On the island you can only sit and drink or eat overpriced stuff... Definitely not worth going there. Better going on the shore of the lake with the view of the island aligned with the high mountain behind Bled city.

It is so exciting to visit this church and panaromic rooftop after a 10 minute boat ride. We had 40 minutes in the island to visit the church. It is 8 euro to ring the bell and visit the rooftop.

The most perfect hike for a look out to the lake bled. It's not hard and it's about 2 hours. And there are two perfect view points to the lake. At night they light up the castle and church as well that makes it even more beautiful.

Very nice place for taking a picture of the whole lake because this standing point is at the same straight line with the island and the castle on top the of hill at the far end. If you go there in the early morning or late evening, you will have the best light condition for stunning photos. Remember to take some water with you because some of the paths are kind of steep. On the way to this place, there's another point where you have a broad view of the lake for taking pictures. When you reach this place, you will have a different angle for viewing the entire lake.

Absolutely magical hike. I felt I was in an enchanted forest, climbing to the top, holding on to the exposed roots of the trees. It was like a fairy tale. The air is so fresh and clean here, the views everywhere you look beautiful, and the silence of the forest peaceful. I would DEFINITELY encourage you to go on this climb. Note that it's somewhat challenging with some technical routes, especially in the winter when it's slippy with ice. But overall, this hike is doable and rather short. It's worth it for sure.

A must-see viewpoint of the lake Bled and its island in the middle. It takes around 30 minutes to get to the very top of the Mala Osojnica viewpoint. If you get there early, there will be very few or no people. You can have the place just for yourself. The hike is moderate, some 200 meter of climbing over 1,3 km. But it is definitely worth the effort. If you come to Bled by car, do not park by the beach. The parking is very expensive there. Instead, go to the Pristava parking palce, it is much cheaper and not far from the start point of the hike. If this review helped you in any way, please give it a like.

Short, uphill “hike” with a stunning view of the top of Lake Bled. It’s a bit exhausting going up, and the staircase towards the top is rather steep, but overall an easy hike. May be difficult with small children. Tip: continue on about 5 minutes to the left after the metal stairs and bench for the official big viewpoint.

It takes a bit of an effort to get there, but trust me, it is worth it! The first half can be pretty strenuous, and then you get to a staircase with 87 steps. That is a trip! At the top is your first viewpoint, stop and take some photos, then continue on. The top is about another 15 minutes, and it is spectacular.

Beautiful view but the hike up is not for anyone with mobility issues. I strongly recommend not taking the path on the left side when facing away from the lake and taking the main path on the right. The left path has no stairs and can be very slippery on the steep inclines. The left path also requires a small rock scramble at the top. The right path can also be muddy but there are stairs, hand rails and fences to assist.

This is a beautiful hike, but be prepared. It can be somewhat demanding physically if you’ve already walked a lot that day, make sure to bring hiking shoes and water. While it won’t take a very long time, I think it only took us about 30 minutes to get up and 30 minutes to get down, it did get hot and this was in mid September. But the view is absolutely worth it. It is by far the best view of Lake bled, I think that you can find. If you are scared of heights/narrow stairs, there is a large staircase about 3/4 into the hike. Simply stunning! We took a quick detour here after visiting the island and it was well worth it, hiking for 20mins to the viewpoint and then only 10mins to return to the road. The view is incredible, with beautiful views of the lake, island, castle and Julian Alps - don't miss it!

Great short hike with a good view of the lake. I really liked the steep stairs they built to reach the top. Bring good shoes, especially when the path has seen some rain in the hours before.

Amazing view. About 20 mins from the main pathway by the lake. A bit slippery in winter. There is a steel rope to hold on to at the end where it gets a little difficult. It does get crowded up there and there isn't a huge amount of space but the view is beautiful and worth it.

Well worth the early 5am wake up to get here and await the magical sunrise. Park your car at the nearby campground and then do the relatively easy 15 minute hike up. While it's not the biggest space up there, there were plenty of scenic views to go around. Just be mindful of your fellow nature lover and don't be obnoxious with your loud talking. We get it, life is hard but keep it calm and peaceful when you're around others during this tranquil time of reflection. Also, not a flex but I noticed I was the only idiot not fully dressed in proper gear. To those who may not have packed hiking boots or closed toe shoes, I made it up in my birks with no issues at all. Just be careful not to roll your ankles given the loose rocks and incline you're facing as you hike up. Bring a headlamp or use your phone's flashlight as it was quite dark at that time of the morning. We came up on a Tuesday morning.

Stunning views of the lake with a love bench. We just went there yesterday and it was not crowded as it's a very small place. In summer, I think it would get crazy crowded, so keep some time. Last 50 meters is difficult but doable even for a person like me who never did any hiking... I was with me pre teen daughter and wife who could also do it. If needed you can sit and cross last 50 meters but it's not worth missing. Lots of lose stones on the way up so must wear some good shoes. But once you reach the top you will forget the hard work you did. There is a difficult stretch also on the left which gives you another view. You can miss that if you are doing this... view is nearly same I heard.

The waterfall in the main photo does not exist here. It must be an error. In the photo it looks like you can walk behind the waterfall but in real life there is no such waterfall. Just a little cascade that goes into a cistern. Nice village region tho :)

The way up is a bit difficult from the front, definitely not suitable for people with walking disabilities. The way from the back is ok for everyone. I really enjoyed my walk and would recommend it to everyone who is able to get up there!

A nice and unespected to see exhibition of lizards and snakes. Every animal has a story, some of them are saved from death, some are donated, some just unwanted by their owners. Visiting the exhibition you will help the indirectly, you will give some money for their food.

One of our best experience of slovenia! Huge verity of snakes, lizards, spiders and more. A guide with an enormous knowledge led us through the exhibitions and gave us explanations (including touching most of the animals). Well recommended!

The best experience we had in Bled! The museume was really interasting. They have a big veraiety of animals and there was a very good guide in the place giving explenations and leting us hold and pet the animals. Highly recomended!

Fantastic time! Highly recommend the "5 star beekeeping experience". You get to see and hold the hives up close, hold bees by hand, rest next to a hive and watch hundreds of bees fly in and out (with full protection!).

Wonderful view and snowy conditions. From parking lot in Rudno polje about 2h moderate hiking. In winter conditions add 30min more. Usually crowded. Last time, 17.03.2024. mostly skiers. Recommended for sure.

Hike was possible today 21 May 2023 some easy small snowfields only. Looping paths around via the east and west still look very snowy on the higher parts > 1700m.

Amazing views await up there. There are 2 trails going there, so you can make a loop and avoid going back and forth. The shorter trail we used to get there took us a bit less than 2h. It was quite steep and demanding. We return by going on the other mount and then down the valley which was must nicer to get back. The parking at the entrance of the trail cost 5 euros for a while day

One of the more easily accessible 2000-meter peaks in the Julian Alps. Our starting point was from Rudno polje on Pokljuka. From the top you have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Triglav. It is an easily marked path, about two hours of walking in one direction. In winter the use of crampons and ice axes is required.
