This is a lovely church from the exterior - if this view pleases you, then it’s worth walking to and seeing in person. However, if you want to look inside, to see some relics, the cloister, and the painting of the last supper, then pay the 35 Kuna/person to enter. They also have a cool coin collection and a good explanation of the amphora and trade routes in the ancient world. It’s a neat church with some interesting things and the second best church in Hvar town (the best value being Saint Stephen At 10 Kuna/person).

After visiting the fortress and wandering in the center for a couple hours, I decided to look for a place to take a break and this is the place I was looking for. The monastery is just a few minutes walk from the town center and a place to enjoy the serenity and avoid the crowd. We went on a day where it wasn't too crowded, but I can sense that it wouldn't be a pleasant experience if the beach is too crowded. Its possible to rent sunbeds for 15€ each. There is also a restaurant next to the beach where you can eat or drink something.

Great little harbor for tourism. It's a small seaside old town that you can walk through in two hours. Lots of restaurants and shops, and a fortress on top with amazing views. For the best restaurants, pastries and coffee go one out two blocks away from the main drag. This place gets busy in the Summer, especially on weekends, and has a spring break feel.

Stunning little harbour. We used the krilojet from mainland and was comfortable and even had cell charger ports on board; bonus! Hvar was a awesome day visit despite being crowded with tourists . Very expensive to eat so I bought bread and snacks with me to the island to avoid overspending.
