Absolutely amazing! We thought it was all very informative, loved the map you get at the beginning, much easier to follow. Better to book online as you get an online discount. The best part was the cider/wine tasting! There was also jam tasting. So worth the visit. Great food, things to do for everyone. Would recommend

Great day out, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Its worthwhile going online and booking in advance as this gets you discounted tickets for the various packages on offer. Really well laid out and the story telling of how cider is made is very well done. Going in the week meant you could see the production in full flow and the tasting experience was fabulous.

Lovely Cyder farm. Very informative about all the different ciders, wines and spirits during the tasting. Unlimited tastings too! Loads of animals to see, and also very interesting history section. The bottling factory was really interesting to walk around and watch the process. Dog friendly in the majority too. Cafe was very nice offering gluten free scones.

Fantastic place. Lovely day out. Had a loaded chips with honey and cider glazed ham in the cafe and it was delicious. You get a cider tasting at the end and we really enjoyed it. Friendly staff and dog friendly.

We had a great time Healey's, even though it was raining. We found this place in a Best Day Out at Cornwall visitor /tourist guide and even found a 10% coupon in that book. That made this activity a really good deal! The tractor ride through the orchards is pretty interesting, and a great kids activity. The museum is incredible, having cider making equipment from the 16 and 1700s. The animal farm is cute for kids as well. We really enjoyed the cider master tour and the cider tasting room with over 60 samples available is definitely a fun and interesting place... We spent the majority of day here, needing to eat lunch after the tasting 🙂...

Highly recommend. Cheaper to book tickets online so would be a good idea. Very well thought out and put together, with brilliant staff. Very customer focused and also looking to improve and add new features!!

It's difficult to fault Healey's, whether you're a hardened cyder drinker, are travelling with kids, both, or neither! There really is something for everyone, the adults liked the tastings, cars, and look at the museum. My children enjoyed the farm & tractor and my son loved the bottling area with its cool robotic arms! A great day out.

If you've never visited, JUST GO! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Such a great place to go, family - and dog - friendly, really informative and interesting and something for everyone. The animals are great and it's so fascinating to actually watch the real life production process. And free return, just brilliant. Love this place!

First time visiting and I have to say I was not disappointed in the slightest, there is plenty to do there. Entry prices are reasonable, and the museum is very informative. The tasting bar was fantastic. Fiona and Rich really made you feel welcome and were very knowledgeable with the products on offer. It was a great day out all round.

Being Healey's ourselves (no relations i think🤔😂) this was a must for us, we were not disappointed. Very informative about the process and history, friendly staff and the kids liked seeing the animals. Tried different flavours of ciders and gins that we would never of bought in shops but purchased after tasting here.

Visit here 1 or 2 times a year when I’m down in Cornwall always a must visit on the list. Been upgraded since my last time here in august few new places you can walk around which was really interesting. Spot of lunch in the cafe area which was very nice & great for tasting some of there sauces they put on the meals! Always try the samples this time tried some new limited edition ciders which absolutely loved & brought 3 bottles of!

Great place, very informative, we paid for the all inclusive tour, was really good got shown around a lot of the factory and explained what was going on, the tour included a tasting in the cellar, a tractor ride around the orchards. Food was really good there's also a bit where you can taste test lots of the ciders, gins, wines and another part where you can taste test the jams, chutneys and sauces a great way to try before you buy

In total a nice idea of a cider factory exeperience and worth a visit, but there are things to improve: it took a while to get in even with pre booked online tickets, the jam factory is actually a shop and nothing seems to be produced there, the motor museum has only 4 cars on Display. If you take the entrance fee in consideration, you get to less for the expectations.

We had a lovely day at Healeys. The factory tour was great, the cafe/restaurant served some lovely food - suitable for all ages, and we spent far too much at the shop. Jam, Cyder, Gin, and souvenirs. Also… the tractor train ride was enjoyed by all. If you’re in the area, absolutely worth a visit.

Lovely day trip to the distillery, lots of things to see and do, very friendly and welcoming staff, if you like Rattler then it's definitely worth the visit. Tasting experience was great with all range of Rattlers, Gin, Wine, mulled cider, jams etc, was marvellous. There's also a restaurant, shop, farm animals, lots of outdoor sitting (surrounded by peacocks ☺️). Only thing that I'd suggest to improve is to make it pushchair/ wheelchair friendly by the museum and restaurant area, to put some pavement on the side as having to push the pram on the cobblestone was very hard and nearly broke the pram wheels. Otherwise, great experience, and we'll definitely come back when holidaying in the area. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic day out! The staff are so friendly and nice and the Goats are adorable little fusspots. Amazing drinks, made full use of the tasting room! Food was fantastic too!

We had an amazing 4 hours here today with our kids (8 and 4 years). The restaurant food and drink was delicious, and well-priced for the quality/what you receive. There was so much to see and do, and the tractor ride through the orchards was really fun. The animals were great and was lovely to see the hens and peacocks roaming around freely. All the facilities were clean and modern and there was plenty of parking. Lovely staff. The kids were amazed by the factory and loved learning how cider is made. The afternoon tea was so good (and huge!) all in all we left very satisfied and wish we lived closer so we could visit more regularly. Great day out for the family!

I've been to Healey's before in 2012, and so much has changed since then. It was really interesting to see how much bigger they've become and the upgrades they've made to the site. There's multiple new areas and buildings and a brilliant walkway above the production lines that allows visitors to see the work that goes into everything. It's really interesting to see. This walkway eventually leads above the main entrance and shop. Everything is within a short walk from each other and each and every part of the site is fascinating to see, from the old to the new. I booked onto the Tractor tour, which was really cool. You take a ride around the site and see the orchards etc. and there's lots of interesting information provided throughout.

We have been there few months ago, and quite enjoyed it. Free car parking is available. Big shop with different types of cider, snack and souvenirs. You can order tours through farm or walk around for your own. You can find a restaurant to eat or take your food away and go at the tables between the trees. For kids there few playgrounds and also small zoo.

Can’t miss! Gorgeous cathedral free to visit and has a lovely coffee shop where you can enjoy some tea/snacks. Have a wonder around and outside too! The building is impressive.

Awesome Cathedral in Cornwalls capital. Beautiful inside and has that certain church smell and atmosphere. Goosebumps will occur when the cathedral’s organ plays I guarantee you. Nice little gift shop to the side.

Visiting from the States and our friend brought us to this Great Cathedral. We actually went because they were having a Craft fair which was very nice. The Cathedral itself is breathtaking in it's architecture. Simply incredible, words can't properly speak to how special it is. In the area give them a visit.

The cathedral was absolutely brilliant. I am an atheist but heard a service going on and wanted to check it out. As I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly lady who handed me the New Testament and another book. She was polite and I then proceeded to sit down in a hall with great architecture and amazing singing. Despite being an atheist, I still greatly appreciated the design features and the care provided for the Cathedral all these years after it was built.

What a stunning Cathedral and for once we weren't charged to enter (happy to leave a donation). The stained glass windows are superb and the alter, I've never seen anything like it. Well worth a visit. Afterwards we just sat outside for awhile in a courtyard type area at the front where there are some fabulous hanging baskets.

Absolutely stunning space, amazing towering columns and a truly inspiring layout. This is a cathedral that should definitely be visited if you’re taking a trip to Cornwall. Lots to see and the cathedral is located so centrally in Truro that it would be a shame to miss it! Parking is not far away and plentiful. The cathedral is so central that it just seems to appear and it is as large and overwhelming as any of the older churches. Free entry makes this even better!

This is quite an impressive cathedral. It's big and decorative. It has card paying boxes to give donations, and you can also give cash. It's free to go in. The stained glass windows are magnificent. At the far end of the cathedral, in the middle stained window there's a small blue glass. Try and spot it.

We visited today and it was free to enter. The Cathedral is beautiful we spent quite a bit of time taking everything in and just enjoying it. There's also a restaurant, toilets and a gift shop

A modern cathedral built in the centre of an already thriving town is never going to have much space around it. This is a perfect example. You cannot get very far away from the building to appreciate its architectural lines and styles. You are constantly looking up to its upper lines and towers with a craned neck! Entry is paid for via a donation box (cards accepted) Inside is pleasent, but devoid of many characteristics of a city cathedral like local families histories and large tombs, old books, large paintings and many other local points of interest. The combined choirs were practising for a concert when we were there which made it really nice looking around accompanied by the 'heavenly voices!'. They were good and I saw that some of them had been in King Charles Coronation in May'23. Well done! An interesting point was that they actually allowed dogs to come in to the building freely (on leads and well behaved if course), but I have never seen this in a cathedral except for specific animal services. Considering this was on a hot day in Cornwall- I could see many had picked up on it to bring their dogs into a 'cool' building. But the idea to accept them is well conceived as pet owners are mostly more responsible visitors than many I have seen in many ⁹institutions like this. I know some of these points may sound odd to some as I really enjoyed my visit (june'23), but sometimes it is the side issues that add or detract for the visitors.

Beautiful, historical, reverent and active old church. All are invited to worship here. It is not the commercialized circus that some of the churches have become. Come sit, walk and watch quietly. This lovely old place is still a home to believers and should be treated as such.

They had an art exhibition on based on nature and had a large model of the Earth hanging down with music and descriptive audio, it is called the gaia, it's there for October so well worth a visit, a lovely cathedral the stain glass windows are lovely.

Built just 100 years ago, and recently externally repaired, this Cathedral is a must of you like flying buttresses, acres of stained glass windows, and stonemasonry and carpentry to guarantee the artisans a place beside God. Stunning!

A beautiful Victorian cathedral, foundation stone laid in 1880. It is definitely worth a visit (free of charge, but donations are welcome to help with the upkeep of the cathedral). They have a beautiful Father Willis organ and the sound is magnificent, great acoustics too. I thoroughly recommend staying for a service, especially choral evensong. Inside the cathedral there is a matchstick scale model of the cathedral and it's definitely worth taking a look.

Amazing, peaceful, spiritual. Whether you are a believer or not the Cathedral's powerful architecture is truly moving. Really lovely.

This was a beautiful cathedral to visit, free of charge and having its structure maintained! The exhibits are fascinating, portraits are top notch too and information is provided. A model cathedral is on display, old seat can be sat in and model group of people appears too!

We love seeing shows at this place. Very helpful staff, comfortable seating, great shows. Well worth a visit. It's a great way to relax, unwind & forget all the rubbish going on in the world!! And we've become members too!!

The new Cornwall playhouse is stunning. The seats are so much comfier. And the staff were brilliant with me, my anxiety was really bad that night and the lady who helped me was really really lovely. (I had the green blazer on and you commented about the colour of it). The show was amazing and I can't wait to be back again in a couple of weeks.

The Hall is looking good after the refurbishment. Seats comfortable, with arm rests, but still fairly close together. Staff all most helpful and friendly. Ice creams and programmes are card payment only. The seats directly in front of us empty so excellent view. Criticisms (and these are for the production, not the hall) sound very loud, and use of spotlights blinding, but there was warning of this beforehand.

The Hall for Cornwall has undergone a tasteful and sympathetic refurbishment which is utterly fantastic. The refit has improved both the sound and lighting. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Love this venue. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great view from the main seats, but I haven't tried the side locations. Lovely communal bar area. Seating areas are accessible (see website for full details of accessibility as they really have tried to provide for most needs).

What a wonderful renovation to this building. It's a delight to be there. The seating is very good and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.

We had a wonderful evening at the Hall For Cornwall. It was the first time we had visited since the refurbishment. We watched ‘An Audience with Lucy Worsley’. The show was excellent, and Lucy was so interesting to watch. Why only 2 stars? We booked seats in the balcony and our view of the screen and her presentation was seriously restricted. We were not told this would be the case. Every photo was headless, so when Lucy referred to a facial expression we were not able to see. Whilst the theatre looks fabulous, we were very disappointed that a basic fundamental question was not asked, namely ‘does every seat have a clear line of sight to see the screen?’ We were disappointed.

Really lovely venue, and since the long-awaited refurbishment, all seats have an excellent view! It can be very pricey, but I think that's the nature of live theatre/music. There's some great outreach projects, especially the Hall for Cornwall Youth Theatre and Youth Dance, which are absolutely fantastic, and run professionally with people who truly care and develop young talent. Other activities are life drawing workshops and school workshops. All run perfectly and such an asset to Cornwall! 😀

Fantastic newly refurbished theatre with great facilities, acoustics and a good selection of shows. There is disabled parking just across the road. Highly recommended

Pretty good venue. Seats are comfy and not too packed and tight. One thing to remember, is that the box office is not on the Lemon Quay side, so if you need to buy or pick up tickets you'll have to walk round or be "escorted through (if there's anyone to do that!)" As a pedestrian, the stalls have narrow steps, so beware of traversing them. Price's of refreshments are ££. But that's not too bad for a special evening. Besides, you can always buy your own in one of the local nearby supermarkets and take your own in. It's a newly redeveloped provincial site, and it was closed for 18 months. I think, therefore, ticket prices are higher than I would like for a local venue. Watch your seat as you sit down, They are newish. And if you don't hold it down when you sit. It'll flip up really quickly, and you'll end up on your behind in the row in front of it.

Fantastic staff and a gorgeous building. I have seen some brilliant shows here and there is always something for everyone. Fully accessible building. There is a great coffee shop with a lovely selection of locally made cakes at reasonable prices. And some of the cocktails in the bar will have you going back for more. I would recommend pre ordering interval drinks before you arrive as the bar gets very busy

Lovely building. Plenty of loos & nice Cafe. All floors are fully accessible. The seats in the theatre itself are a bit small & uncomfortable but the view is good on all levels.

Our first experience of the Hall for Cornwall, and what an experience, very slick and professional, a well oiled machine staffed by really pleasant and efficient staff. A very comfortable and pleasant evening in a theatre/venue that is perfectly situated for what it does. We love Truro anyway, and this venue just adds to it, there is something going on here most days, and some pretty big names and acts too, not a place to be overlooked, that's for sure!! We did a 300 mile round trip for the show we attended and it was worth every mile!!

A thoroughly enjoyable evening of classical music courtesy of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra; superb!

Lovely venue and great play. Unfortunately the sound quality was poor and at times it was very hard to hear what the actors were saying. Would have given it a 5 if the sound quality had been better.

Really good tribute act, great seats in front row. Bar slightly disorganised and slow, toilets good and clean. Only real drawback is escaping from local council car parks, only two payment machines and probably 200 cars trying to leave.

This family-run farm is the home of the well-known Cornish ice cream and its parlour cafe is a nice little place to call in to for creamy refreshment if you are in the area.

Great place to take the kids not just for ice cream 🍦 but they have a good play area as well. Really good experience all round.

Amazing ice cream, love the hot waffle and warm cookie dough! Plenty of ice cream choice (16), they do offer vegan/dairy free however there were only 2 options of ice cream and 2 sorbet. Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere wise it would be nicer if they put some music/background noise on as it's very quite and echoes so feels a little like a library.

Friendly staff, amazing ice cream and I have to say amazing prices. I have bought this ice cream at national trust properties paying a fortune for a golf ball sized scoop. Yet today £5.50 each for these HUGE sundaes/waffle. Kids absolutely loved it. Thank you

Lovely ice cream parlour, cafe and shop at Callestick Farm! There is a large car park with playground and activities for kids. The courtyard is gorgeous and dogs are welcome on the outside tables. I visited late in the day and the parlour was well stocked and staff happy to serve us a last minute ice cream before they shut! Have been before and will be visiting again!

It's a small place but has good parking. Somewhere to sit outside children's play area. The ice cream yum yum. Just a little complaint one youngster was quite rude wouldn't be surprised if it was the owners son. Still worth a visit

Have a big selection of Ice cream made onsite from own cows. Plenty of parking space & lovely surroundings. Also have Healey's Cider farm nearby to complete the farm to produce experience for a great day out to keep all the family happy. Shame cannot see the milking & ice cream manufacturing but understand the overall need to keep expanding.

Amazing ice cream! The staff were friendly and patient whilst we decided what flavor to have, and even let us try a sample. Coffee wasn't the best, and the facility wasn't dog friendly so if you have a dog make sure to visit on a nice day so you can sit outside.

Very pleasant staff, greated with a smile. If you want to test 6 different flavours I highly recommend this box (not to share) £5 treat and everyone deserves an ice-cream treat. There was no hand sanitiser in the dispensers unfortunately.

Lovely little ice cream parlour. Stumbled across this place by accident on our way back from somewhere else. Alot of choice on the memu and they even had some savoury options. We went with creamy coconut. Very good ice cream. There was some inside seating and a nice courtyard area to sit outside. Large free car park with plenty of space. Also I the car park they had a children's play area.

Popped in for a breakfast milkshake (we are on holiday; no judgement!) It was absolutely glorious and my daughter loved the warm cookie dough. Not too expensive either. Will definitely be back.

Just a great place to take the kids and, of course, yourselves to enjoy amazing ice cream. My favourite is the clotted cream and blackcurrant one, but it is difficult to choose which to have as they all look great.You can also view them making ice cream if you wish. The children liked seeing the animals and spending time in the play areas. The metal cow which they can "milk" is also great fun. Recommended for a fun hour or two.

The obvious reason for visiting the farm is to eat ice-cream, and in that regard, it doesn’t disappoint (especially the ability to try before you buy). The clotted cream vanilla flavour was one of the richest ice-creams I’ve ever eaten! There are a few tables to sit at inside, along with a couple more outside. They have a playground for the kids near the carpark, and a viewing area to watch the ice-cream being made (although nothing was going on when we visited). We wouldn’t have much reason to visit the farm again, instead I’d just buy the ice-cream from one of the local outlets.

Beautiful historical preservation of Cornish, British and indeed Global History. Apart from the opportunity to learn historical facts about Cornwall, the UK and the world, it also possesses a fine scenery. It highlights the need to preserve cultural and historical facts for future generations. It is located at the Truro city centre making it easy for tourist who want to take advantage of sight seeing other parts of Truro and also making purchases or having bank transactions. Overall, it is a beautiful collection of artefacts, culture and history.

Wow! I was surprised with this museum. It's much bigger than I was expecting. My children loved exploring all the rooms and all the old artifacts. They especially enjoyed the Egyptian area. Children were free adult about 7.50 Has a cafe so you can chill and have a coffee. Have a little wonder in the small shop

Beautiful little Museum in the city of Truro, I love it. Its small but full, not just local treasures but as far as Egyptian artifacts and all across the Mediterranean. Friendly staff and lots of space to roam around and totally covid friendly with plenty of hand sanitiser and spacers marked on the floor to help you keep your distance. Love wondering around looking at iron age and bronze age tools, coins. Roman pots and gold coins to swords and spears. I'll let you find the rest for yourselves You can find the museum @ 25 River St TR12SJ. It's only £5 and under 18's are free. Bargain. If you're visiting Cornwall this summer and you're in Truro please check it out.

Midsize museum with some incredible exhibits on Cornwall's history. The geology, mining, and ancient history sections were particularly compelling / housed inoressive and well-described artifacts. Also had some high-quality local art. Passionate and welcoming staff. The experience was diluted somewhat by the widespread delay of numerous recent (2018 or newer) objects with tenuous connections to Cornwall in the main hall. right alongside the Cornish history exhibits (including in the same display cases). Admission is £7.50

Really interesting artifacts. Lots of art work and interesting history. To suit all ages. Clean and spacious. Lovely building. Also has a cafe and toilets. Good price and after you go the first time you get in free for 12 months. Amazing.

Really interesting museum. Their current exhibition “Adrift” is excellent and a real highlight to the ever going issue of plastic waste in the sea. It is about how In 1997, a rogue wave knocked 62 containers from a cargo ship off the coast of Cornwall. Five million pieces of lego were set adrift in the ocean, washing up on beaches across the southwest. Adrift – Lego Lost at Sea is the story of what was lost and what was learned about the ocean, its currents and pollution.

We particularly want to see the automata exhibition, which was so much fun, but thought the whole museum was fascinating and beautifully set out. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and an adult annual pass was only £7.50.

Lovely place to visit. The staff were very friendly and approachable. After paying and walking into the gallery; there was a lovely lady who told me where to find all the exhibitions, and where to start. There is lots to see, from various parts in history, going back the ancient caveman and women, to the Romans, and the modern day and towards the future in relation to how Cornwall is involved with space. There is little interaction for young children, and some have been disabled due to Covid. There was a large touch screen with interaction, but for some reason it kept freezing, so I gave up trying to see all what it had to offer. Well worth a visit and you can go back again with the same ticket.

The Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro are hosting their very first open exhibition. Titled 'Spirit of Cornwall' it encompasses all of Cornwall and those who live in it today. The exhibition runs from 9th October 2023 until 20th January 2024 at the Royal Cornwall Museum. Private View: Saturday 14th October 5pm – 8pm. Celebration Event: Saturday 9th December 5 – 8pm. Royal Cornwall Museum River Street,Truro Cornwall, TR1 2SJ The private view was last night, very busy and very enjoyable. It was great to wander through the museum checking out the exhibits and artworks. It's a great space and the team have done a brilliant job setting up 200 artworks - it looked amazing!

Oddly enough this one didn’t catch me. And although I want to blame this on my age (it is a widely spread rumor that teenagers don’t enjoy visits at museums) I’m afraid it was the museum itself that is to blame. Nothing here really seemed attention-grabbing, like I would want to continue to read about this and like I would remember the information. It was quite empty in my opinion. Nonetheless, I liked the part where you could write on a piece of paper your own ideas to stop the climate change crisis. I’m all for interacting…maybe it is the teenager in me speaking. Do try this though if you’re especially interested in Cornish history, as I felt it definitely had some of that :)

Visit to the brilliant Automata Exhibition with my Grandchildren. They absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. They enjoyed seeing the Exhibition and then had a go at making their own. The permanent displays were interesting to and there was arts and crafts for the children in addition to the special exhibition.

We enjoyed looking round the museum doing research for a school project with our son. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There are some interesting artifacts and exhibitions. A small gift shop with a limited selection of souvenirs. You can also easily access the Arts café which serves a selection of food and drinks.

Really nice little museum. Relics from all over the world not just Cornwall. The Automaton Exhibition was amazing but not there all the time. The adjoining Arts Cafe is nice for lunch too.

Wanted to checked the newly revived skinners out, kinda knew I was gonna get a bang average beer, kinda goes with the goodh territory…..they seem to have brought the sub standard customer service along for the ride, staff were dead rude and didn’t seem to know what size beers they were actually serving and for what price and then proceeded to get all pissy when asked

Fantastic to be open again wonderful beer and food, customer service second to none! Just what Truro needed thank you for the opening

I have been on quiet a few brewery tours in my time, Skinners was interesting and informative to say the least. Dave our guide was excellent. The tasting session after the tour was the best I have ever done 🍺. It's a family run brewery and ALL the employees are so happy in their jobs. Thanks to you all 🍻

Me n the Mrs were the only ones there on the tour and what a welcome, the boys there couldn't do enough for us. Friendly and knowledgeable and customer service was brilliant. The tour is well worth the money and and really informative. The little shop there is fantastic and sells everything they brew. Missed out on a cuddle with Betty Stoggs, but made up for it with a few bottles of her beer instead. Come back for a beer and a t-shirt, just the same, excellent beer and customer service 🤓

Had a fabulous roast realy enjoyed it will definitely be going again I well recommend going here for a meal 😋 very very good food and the staff were amazing 👏 keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻😊😊

This place looks amazing, such a wonderful and open feel. Very relaxed inside and outside. Staff were lovely and very friendly. The food!... where to begin. The chicken burgers... finger lickin' good! Make you want to have another one. The nachos... the nacho chips are homemade and covered in a devine cheese sauce! Hats off to the chef for making food with such love and care ❤️

A great brewery - very friendly staff, delicious beer, good food, comfortable seating, good WIFI and chilled tunes. The food pop-ups are great and the live music on weekend's adds something extra..

What more could you ask for beer and some of the best pizza 🍕 on the beach front. Staff was fantastic and upbeat. Couldn't fault the music choice. Great seating upstairs away from the weather. And when it finally stops rains brilliant veranda to enjoyed a pint. Fantastic child friendly place with plenty of WiFi to entertain the little darlings so we could enjoy our pint and the sound of the sea.

You won't be disappointed with the food here, its absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the cheeseburger with all the trimmings, soo yummy. Friendly staff and even when busy service is pretty quick too, I would definitely visit again if we are ever down this way again. Great location too, right on the beach.

Amazing location right on the beach, with beautiful views. Loads of great Verdant beers on tap and super nice pizzas. The Gluten Free base is also really good. Really lovely staff. If you like beer and pizza it's a must visit.

Great little place overlooking the beach with a good-sized upstairs restaurant and bar height chair seating on the ground floor sea facing terrace. Menu consists only of Pizzas but tgwy are cooked in a proper pizza oven and absolutely delisceous! Dogs are welcome in the restaurant and on the beach in front of the Cafe.

Awesome views, lovely team running the place and, overall, the best beer of all Cornwall. I had several very cold verdant that i super enjoyed

What a beautiful location for a bar and restaurant. We had pizza whilst we were here and it was delicious. This was a good recommendation from a friend and I will be trusting them while heatedly. We would happily come here again.

Wow wow wow! Absolute gem of a place right on the beach. The most amazing selection of tapas, small plates with bold combinations. Wonderful views, service and food can't wait to go again. The squid with chrizo and king prawns in garlic were my stand out favourites. Great espresso martini. Cannot recommend this place enough. Booking is essential.

Finally, after 2 years, got around to going to Schooners, and we weren't to be disappointed. It was opening night for the season and everything went so well that you would think they hadn't shut over the winter. Friendly staff at the bar took us up to our table which had a fantastic view over the cove. Took a drinks order whilst we mulled over the menu. We decided to go for the tapas option so chose 5 different between us - fried aubergine with feta, scallops, burnt cauliflower, crispy belly pork and king prawns. All arrived together and were well presented and hot. Also had a very reasonably priced bottle of Pinot Grigio. Thought we had to try the dessert so we had the ice cream, and Creme Brulee, both of which were excellent. Couldn't fault the place or the food - excellent service also. Only downside would be it's size - we only counted 30 covers which were booked twice over the evening (we were there at 6, and the table was booked again for 8) so you really do need to book, but it's certainly worth it.

Good quality food, waiting time bit longer than expected but worthy to wait. Fish tacos are very nice and schooners fries very nice as well. Dogs friendly, and next to the beach.

Beautiful spot just a few minutes from town. A lovely walk along the river round to Sunny Corner. Carry on past there and you come to Malpas village with the Beautiful Heron Inn looking over the river.

I haven't been there for quite a while, illness etc, etc. Lovely meals at a very reasonable price, unlike other places. Excellent patient and knowledgeable staff, just like old times. Malpas is worth visiting, even if you have to drive there. Thank you all. Toni.

Lovely park, family friendly and dog friendly as well. Has great facilities for sport and kids activities. Close to the Malpas river (pictured) which is especially beautiful during high tide.

Great park for kids. Plenty of structures to climb on. Toilets on site, picnic benches and a cafe and lake over the road

Lovely park next to river. Well kept, smooth tarmac paths so wheelchair accessible. Children's play area. Table tennis and Tennis courts, some adult exercise machines. Free parking of around 60 spaces in car park and street.

We love this park. We visit regularly as a family. Lots of equipment for kids and a walk in the woods just across the road , a water body with ducks and swans makes it a perfect place for fun outings. And we were fortunate to grab some Cornish ice-cream from an ice-cream Van!

Nice place for families with children. Exercise equipment at either end of the circular walk good fun.Well kept flower beds. New cafe is a welcome addition. Notice saying no dogs allowed in the park itself or round the lake.

On the way back from Cornish beach children wanted to go around for free, Truro Boscawen park a nice play area for children 10 years old. Nice neighborhood kids around.

Amazing park and has a cafe a huge park and perfect for going kayaking just be sure to always check tide times as the flood gates can create quite a strong current.

Always take my kids to the park here, you'll see many kids riding bikes, playing around, having fun, the cafe is a great spot for a bit of coffee and food as well! Also have a disability swing which is amazing!

Great nature pond with strange looking ducks who are tame enough to be fed.

Lovely park, good play area for kids. Only downside is it's a bit muddy. There's a wonderful pond across the road, and a fantastic pub to go with. Great place to go for a walk.

Plenty parkings was able to park 6.5. MH .cafe ..nice walk at the side of the estuary and a nice park. About a mile walk into Truro.

Large park with flower beds, field, playground, tennis courts and across the street a duck pond and walking trail. If you want to feed the ducks, please bring birdseed not bread as bread is bad for the ducks.

My family and I really enjoyed the guided Llama walk with Tom and colleagues today. We learned loads about Llamas and farming in general. Lovely to see all generations of Llamas including some babies. Ended up with a really tasty lunch. Highly recommended.

Had a brilliant morning at Llama Land with Tom. It was a great experience and my daughters really enjoyed time with the llamas. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and has lots of great stories to tell. Great lunch too!

Such a wonderful place to visit. Tom explained all about Llamas and how to handle them before we set off on our walk. He answered questions as we walked and was really passionate about them. He had a few pregnant Llamas and while we were there one gave birth which we were lucky enough to see. This really made the visit extra special. Thank you Tom for a fantastic visit.

What a find! Tom is kind, caring & you can tell loves all the Llamas. Really enjoyable morning spent with the herd. No rush, nothing a problem & thoroughly recommended.

We went for the second time today and loved it just as much as the first. Tom is a real character, full of information and stories about both his beloved llamas and the working farm, which his family have lived on for over 100 years. The setting is rustic, but beautiful and peaceful. The llamas are quirky, characterful and so much fun. Tom leads you on your walk around the land, whilst supporting you in walking the llamas and ensuring they are happy. We've been lucky enough to see and meet babies both times we've been and I can't begin to tell you how adorable they are! All of this is rounded off with a hearty, homely lunch with cream tea for afters. The perfect 1/2 day's entertainment 🥰

A fab way to spend a Sunday morning! Tom's extensive knowledge about llamas makes the experience even more enjoyable. Lovely walk in the sun (we even saw some deer and a rabbit!) followed by a great lunch. If you're seeking a unique and out-of-the-ordinary activity, this is definitely a great choice!

Its not often I leave a review! We loved it. Dedicated and down to earth, is how I can only describe Tom. None of this souvenir shop thing going on! Nothing but devotion to his Llamas and the wellbeing of them makes Llarma Land. While introducing us to his Llamas, Tom was in constant conversation in the background with his boys and girls as if he was letting them know they were ok with the new people. After spending time with them and taking in the walk, we went to see his "cloud" in the field and with one call, Tom had them all running to him. Thank you 😀

The first time we visited Truro. It was life city with many different shops and big market. The pannier market it was big and it has more different part as shops like bakery, butcher, toys and .... outside the pannier market it was Saturday and Wednesday local Market with many local shops which sells homemade and local products. It was great.🤗

A hidden gem full of quirky and useful stalls. I was looking for wool and came across a 'shop' that sold all I needed. Well worth a look round. Bet you buy something!

Found the stall holders very supportive and looking out for each other. Great place to wonder and find those unique treasures/nic-nacs. A little hidden gem on Lemon Quay, Truro. Tourists, make time to stroll you'll never know what you might find.

Went to get my partner's watch strap adjusted, needed a link taken out We went to the little stall on the corner, lady called Pamela owns/runs it She took a link out and adjusted the watch while we waited. Very friendly and helpful, we had a chat while she did his watch We also bought a cornish flag for a friend there as well!! The market has a good variety of stalls, selling everything you could want or need Lovely butchers, fresh fruit and veg. Also some nice food stalls, near the entrance

Lots of fantastic stalls - electrical and audio parts, batteries, bulbs, lights and vacuum bags in almost every shape and size you can think of (and if they haven't got it they'll order it in!), fruit and veg, flowers, towels, bedding and curtains, butcher, gifts, printer ink, phones, kitchen bits and bobs and much more! Better than the supermarket and all local businesses.

I needed a special kind of fork, and I can guarantee the kitchen place in the Panier Market will have it. It did. I would also like to say thank you to the lady in there that repaired my jeans, her brilliant job is always professional and very good quality for the price she charges. And also the lady that makes the hats, and the scarfs great job on my custom (don't tell anyone) socks to keep my legs warm.

Lovely Cornish market where you can get a wide variety of household and personal items. Friendly set of traders who will go out of their way to make someone feel welcome. A true reflection of the openness and great reception the people of Cornwall have to offer.

I love the little stalls in the pannier market, always a nice little journey. I have a new favourite shop it there too. Will be back closer to Christmas as I've found some perfect presents for my friends 😁

Simply bakes by Fi (I’m not sure on the name as I had to go off my bank statement!) but wow! Thought I’d pick up a bit for lunch and whilst the sausage roll (with sage & fennel etc. was excellent) the Cruffin was on another planet! A complete game changer; a beautiful mix of a croissant and a muffin filled to the hilt with vanilla custard and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Just a treat that bought a huge smile to me and deserves a bit of credit! Definitely worth a visit here.

Lemon Street has fantastic architecture some great restaurants and shops in and around the market. A great place to shop

Stopped in Truro whilst en route to holiday accommodation and took a pot of tea for refreshment. Tea was fine, served reasonably fast, hot, and as you would want it at a reasonable price. If you are this way, give Lemon Street Market a try.

We had their all day breakfast and it was ok. We've not visited for sometime and missed our old favourite outlets.

Nice little shopping area, mostly slightly overpriced shops but still quite nice bits. Very nice cafe with covered outdoor seating.

One of Truros hidden gems, the cafe has an airy, friendly atmosphere with lovely menu. Coffee is good and the pastries are impressive, mostly homemade. Always a good stop when shopping in Truro. We'll be back

A nice place to the a break after a day's shopping. Close to the multi storey. The cafe is bright and the staff attentive so service is good.

First time I'd ever been inside and it's amazing, there is a great selection of shops and all of them independent. There's two coffee shops, one upstairs the other down. There is a lift to get upstairs for anyone unable to use the stairs, it really is a treasure trove.

We enjoyed every minute of our visit to this fantastic tea estate, where we got a full panoramic view of the tea plantation, orchards and more - it was worth every penny! Lucy & the team gave us the five star treatment, really going above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We were even so lucky to have a private tour all to ourselves... A must-do day out for tea enthusiasts or couples and families who are hoping to see authentic Cornwall at its best and learn about this fascinating part of the country.

Went for the open day. Stunning building from outside. Not sure if you're ever allowed in? Beautiful gardens. Only takes a couple of hours to walk round. Worth a visit on their Charity Open Days

I think it's great that Tea is being grown in Cornwall - I love loose leaf tea and was excited to receive 2 caddies of Tregothan tea as a present. However when I opened the caddy I was very disappointed by the TINY quantity of tea inside. The loose tea fills only 20% of the caddy! Looking on the outside of the box - the weight is in equally tiny writing. Most people wouldnt even notice the weight as the lettering is so small. 25g of tea in a box that is around 5 inches tall is Misleading. By comparison Fortnum and Mason sell Royal Blend tea for £8.50 for 200g v Tregothan tea at £5.50 for 25g. So Tregothan tea for the same weight would be £44! I know it's rare but that's quite expensive! I'm more upset by the very misleading packaging - it looks like you are getting a full box of tea but inside it's only a tiny sachet. It's also a waste of resources having packaging that's 5 times the size of the contents - not very Eco friendly. Disappointing - please change your packaging.

Best place to buy Christmas trees anywhere! Hand selected our tree and they cut it down for us. Made choosing a tree a special occasion. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Sorry but this is a very, very bland cuppa. And really, £8.75 for 25 bags, emperors new clothes

Lovely tea. I haven’t visited this location, but I bought some tea from a vendor outside of Kings Cross.

A very enjoyable day out. The gardens are only open to the public for a charity weekend once a year, but you can arrange group tours and private visits. Gorgeous plants and plenty of paths to explore.

They are so nice to talk to plus helped me so 5 star but because of how the cafe lady was I told her "oh sorry to bother you I just want to say the food smell well nice " and I got no thank you the only thing I got was only a dirty look so that put me in bad mood so now it sa 3 stars ........as Manners cost nothing........

Fantastic and fabourlous and marvelous place to go and look at books

The broadband / wifi is so slow you could bake a dozen pasties, drink two pots of tea while content loads, what is this 2005? One hotspot it seems, with weak coverage, I am connected to BTWIFI from some place else and that too is frustratingly slow. See it this way if you want to do research go elsewhere... makes me angry that we have access to cheap fibre internet and a gov location has the worst slowest infrastructure. Rest of library is ok, oh no toilets here either, REALLY!

Was an absolute life saver over lockdown with its selection of audio and e-books. And now that I'm able to go in and borrow physical books I'm just as impressed with what's on offer (even some stranger titles on my list, which I wasn't able to find elsewhere). Transfering books from other libraries is quick and efficient and staff so far have been lovely and friendly. A great library.

Takes ages to get through if you phone them.

Nice relaxing circular walk and a pond where you can feed the ducks and squirrels, they is also a woodland walk you can do but you will need boots on in winter

It's well worth a walk around these beautiful gardens. It's peaceful and well looked after. We spent about 30 minutes exploring. Worth a visit.

One of the best hidden gems of any Cornish town! The gardens are always stunning, the bands in the summer are lovely and there's always somewhere to sit no matter how busy!

A lovely green oasis in the middle of a city is always a delight to find, and this is no exception. Beautiful trees 🌳

Nice gardens. You can see lots of trees and plants around. There is plenty of seating, some undercover and some that are not. Some of the paths can by quite steep in places, for both up and down the garden paths. There is a couple of ponds one with a statue and the other not as obvious. There is a cafe at the top, but that is open during the summer season.

Although I visited in winter it was still a lovely stroll

Very well kept Truro City Council gardens. Colourful planting and interesting varieties make this a really nice place to rest in peaceful surroundings. The bandstand features performances on summer Sunday afternoons.

A peaceful, well-kept and accessible park. Lots of colour light during the spring and summer, and the Pride Tree is a wonderful addition to promote awareness and give a sense of community.

Summer flower displays looking great. Particularly happy to see the beautiful wildflower plot in full bloom with a myriad of colours.Attracts plenty of bees. A peaceful place to spend some time out or stay longer with a cuppa and cake from the cafe and watch nature.
