We had a fantastic hike here, you could either just do the lower coastal work from one end to the other and back which would be about 12ish kilometres in total or there is a path higher up the mountain for a change of scenery on the return route, the accent is about 400m to the higher path. Both offer stunning views. Just remembered your sunscreen and carry lots of water, we only found one spot for water along the way as the other one we found had a broken tap.

Many hiking routes, cheap entrance - 5 eur, better to start early in the morning when there are less crowded.

La Tonnara is a private beach, access is restricted and not cheap. You must book well in advance. The coast of Scopello is very nice, a bit hard to access and not much space to lay a towel. The sea is worth the trip. Parking would cost on average €10 a day. No restoration available nearby so get plenty of food and drink.

The place has a beautiful view but it comes with a price. For parking you pay in the Off season 2.5€ per hour / 10€ per day. Tickets for the place cost in Off season 10 Euro. I think it is not worth it. We also been snorkeling there and I think in the natural reserve nearby pay only 5Euro entry and you can choose the beach you want. Attention: please don't come too late because e.g. in the off season the sun is away around 3PM.

Its an amazing place we parked on the main street free of charge however the 7€ we payed per persone to acceds the beach i dont know if its to access the beach or to enter the museum. Either way it was worth it. We arrived around 4pm it was crowded but we managed to find our spot in shadow. Make sure you have your swimmimg shoes bcz the shore is very rocky. We reached the swim spot via a wonderful boat ride from San Vito Lo Capo. Clear, warm, calm waters. Definitely some traffic with other boats on tour, but it didn't feel overwhelming or crowded. A highlight was encountering an interaction between two boats where a younger woman from another boat swam up to another woman in a separate boat, not ours and asked if she was Hungarian too, "No, I'm Italian... but all the girls I know from Hungary are..." well needless to say the interaction probably isn't google review friendly but it was hilarious. An additional unexpected benefit was the gelato/ice cream and beer boat that pulled up for some cold treats on a hot day.

You pay 15€ /adult for access. You Will get a sunchair, access to the small beach a small Museum tour and a great feeling from the beautifull atmosphere. Came here with small Kids and they also enjoyed it. Great for snorkeling around the rocky cliffs. Drink and snacks can be bought here. I was able to swim a lot here. This place is a no drone zone, gently reminded by the staff when they saw me flying.

The green mountains, zingora coast line and the rocks make it one the best scenic views in Sicily. There is a small rock that you can climb to get a 360 view of the area.

We have spent 4 nights in the Tonnara, it is a unique and incomparable place. We have very much appreciated the beautiful panorama on the see and on the rocks, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the private beach, the breakfast in front of the sea.

15euro entry fee to use a beach chair on a concrete beach. The view and sea are beautiful and the visit to the museum is interesting. The cafe is way overpriced too. Parking is about 200m away with no sidewalk. Sicily has much better places to visit and enjoy the sea than this tourist trap

Beautiful place, crystal water, lovely old fishing house and picturesque location that served as cinematic set for many movies, such as Ocean's 12. The entrance ticket is 15 EUR per person, and it says it also contains a guided tour of the little museum. We didn't get to see that, maybe because we arrived in the afternoon around 5 p.m. (although no warnings about being late, as the place closes at 7 p.m., and so does the parking where you need to pay separately either for the whole day or 2 EUR per hour). There's not much to do besides taking a bath. There's a little boutique with toilets, drinks and snacks (overpriced again). Not the best service either, pretty unwelcoming and misleading. The taverna and everything else are located in the restricted areas where only hotel guests have access. I think it would be an amazing experience as guest, but for the 15 EUR, not much to experience.

This place is unreal! The water is sooo beautiful and clean. You have to pay the entrance 15e per person and you have sunbeds and umbrella. It is false information here in reviews that you can’t bring your food and drinks. YOU CAN! But the food and drinks from the bar aren’t expensive at all!

So, I was a little surprised just how crowded the beach was. I was told by the locals that July and August are high tourist season so the beach will always be crowded. That being said, it cost us 40e for 4 chairs and one umbrella. The water was a beautiful color blue but not as clear as you would expect. I did like that the waiters will come around with menus and u can place orders and they will bring to your chairs. Plenty of different options on the menus to choose from for lunch and reasonably priced. The view is beautiful. Like most beaches, there are pebbles so wear water shoes. There is a bathroom, it is what it is but clean. If you are looking for a quiet beach this is not it but very clean compared to other beaches in Sicily. Parking was only 5e for the day.

We go there every year 4-5 times and get looked after extremely well. Good quality food and wines with amazing view right on the seafront. A real jewel of a bay on the sicilian coastline.

Best beach from Palermo to Trapani! Very small stones, always transparent blue azzurro water and clean, place for snorkelling, warm water cause Tiren mare, wonderful nature landscapes around. large parkings, rent of sailing equipment. Lovely! 🔅🐠

It's a beautiful beach with a lot to offer. The fact that there are three parking areas available is quite convenient for visitors. The beach itself is known for its stunning turquoise waters and picturesque surroundings. It's a perfect spot for kayaking (we had our own kayak). The calm waters make it ideal for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. Paddling along the coast, you'll have the chance to explore hidden coves and admire the rugged cliffs that frame the beach. We went kayaking from here to Tonnara di Scopello which has a charming historical element with the remains of an old tuna fishing facility.

Nice wide beach with small pebbles. Water is clean and it’s pretty easy to go in. The beach can be accessed from both side, looking the sea, the one at the right is accessible from a stair with 300 steps. There are two parkings at each extremities (5€ and 4€). You can also find some parking on the dirt road to Cala Rossa. At the right of the beach (looking the sea) you may notice two WWII buckers from which they could fire at enemies debarking on the beach. The stair at the right is a private access from a villa above the cliff.

Free public beach, no sand just pebbles. Lots of locals and loud music, also jet skis. It’s nice for a dip and drinks but isn’t the most relaxing.

My family (with 2 small kids 1,5 and 4 years old) was there today at 10am. There was a longer queue waiting to buy a spot with sun loungers and parasol, so I stood there as well thinking if I stand the queue I will maybe get a spot as well, anywhere, even at the back lines. I understood it was Sunday and very crowded on the beach, but I was here for the first time and based on various google and tripadvisor recommendations I thought I could give my family also a nice experience, where the kids could eat normal restaurant food and enjoy the beach. But after standing there almost 30 minutes and watching how local Italians can get free spots from the owner and they did not have any reservation, just paid in front of me directly to the owner, finally the owner told me that he suddenly has no free spot for me. When I asked him how is it possible that he just gave spots to other Italian people before me, he just looked down and said sorry I'm full. He was afraid to even look into my eyes. I was there probably the only english speaking person at that moment and I also said to him that I'm here with 2 small kids, he just said sorry I have nothing for you. I got angry and I left, as I didn't know and also how could I have assumed that this is the way how such a recommended place will behave and welcome any tourists on a Sunday morning. Huge disappointment and discrimination. I recommend to all tourists to check in advance which time and day are foreign tourists also welcome at this place or try to book a spot online (maybe that works - or maybe not based on the reviews I've read now on google).

We held my brothers wedding party here and it was fantastic. Location excellent, staff were amazingly helpful and the food was incredible, accounting for different diet requirements such as vegetarian and gluten free. Would definitely recommend.

Asked for chilli, didn't get it -The waiter didn't come over to ask how we were or even a smile - No bread or olive oil like ever other restaurant in Italy - 3 TVs blasting out football - Most expensive meal so far in Italy - No apology given despite nothing eaten and feedback given - Service charge still taken - No house wine despite advertised My girlfriend's pasta. ...was the same. Avoid this place.

It is on a beautiful sandy beach

I stayed here with my family and groomsmen for my wedding. The staff could not have been nicer and more hard-working. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the view out to the ocean was phenomenal. Truly breathtaking views from the rooms with balconies in sea views. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool was a perfect temperature and nice escape from the summer heat. After wedding the staff gave us a gift bag with a beautiful Sicilian ceramic. This is not something you would get in the states. I can’t emphasize enough how kind the staff was. If you were having a wedding in the area, this is a fantastic choice for hosting a bridal party and guests. The kind woman at the front desk went above and beyond to schedule and arrange transportation to and from the airport and neighboring towns for all of our guests. We love this hotel and will definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately, the rooms did not meet expectations. The bed was uncomfortable, which made rest a bit challenging. Despite these inconveniences, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient for reaching the tonnara, and the infinity pool adds a touch of luxury to the stay. The hotel staff was fantastic specially Chiara and Luciano who were very helpful and friendly. The room was ideal,with a mountain and sea view. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommended.

The hotel is not worth the money at all. We booked the room with balcony and ‘sea view’ but in reality the view is directly over a dirty car park. Breakfast is mediocre. And toilet is not very clean. Overall, I will not recommend.

Lovely small hotel in picturesque area.Rooms are spacious but unfortunately need a refresh with decor-it is like early 90s.Other then this it is all perfect -food,staff and swimming pool are absolutely lovely.

Well located hotel in the center of scopello with easy access to the city center. The infinite pool in the middle of the building brings an uncommon and odd north american motel. If you fell like going back to elementary school dont hesitate to follow all the numerous and childish rules established by the non friendly staff who barely speak engligh. ( see appendix one) Dont forget to bring your own pool towel , otherwise the bill you 5 euros for "renting a towel". It comes without saying that you discover this at the check out only. To conclude, go to la tavernetta next door they are friendlier and they dont pay an overzealous lifeguard that explain you to take a shower before each bath like if we were in a public swimming pool. PD : Don't expect any fresh orange juice at the breakfast , they prefer to delight their host with some sugary bottled orange juice ( despite having the orange tree across the street)

We stayed at Baglio Scopello for 4 nights with our family and friends, whilst celebrating our wedding back in May 2023. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodated us with everything we needed. I’ve stayed at two hotels in Scopello over the past 12 months, and by far, this is my favourite hotel. The room we had was spotless and had a beautiful view of the coast. The brand new pool and central car park is a massive plus for a trip in Scopello. Thanks to all your amazing staff. We look forward to returning soon.

I highly recommend staying at this pleasant hotel Hotel Baglio di Scopello with a beautiful swimming pool in the amazing location of Scopello. 3,99 stars only:-) Beach is amazing, accessing was terrible. Generally, all the beaches around Scopello: no car - no beach! And be aware out of date google maps! Almost every road/street facing to sea is private with gate. 2 lettini & 1 ombrellone for all day €25 (season 2021)

The beach has Crystal clear water since it a pebble beach and does not have any sand, best location for snorkeling and meeting a lot of small sea life within the coral reefs. The best part already starts within few meters into the water. Take water shoes and a snorkel for best experience. There is also an option to do dolphin watching tours from this place

Fantastic beach with crystal clear water. Brilliant for snorkeling. The ‘beach’ itself is quite rocky and stony. It’s not your typical sandy beach. It’s an ideal beach if you want to go somewhere to snorkel and see fish, crabs, octopus, sea urchins, etc. it’s on the edge of the Zingarro nature reserve. There is a car park so that you only have to walk 50 to 100 meters. The snack bar has everything (wine, beer, water, hot dogs). We’re a family of five. We’ve been there many times. The kids loved it when they were 5-6 and again as teenagers.

It is on a beautiful sandy beach

Our guide was Valerio and he was really great. He is multilingual and telling a lot about Sicily, the environment and the dive sites. We did two dives: the wreck Capua and the cave Ficarella. For both dives he gave a very good explanation of the dive. Both dives were really great and worth going there again. The boat trip was perfectly prepared. The equipment was ok. I would go again with Valerio as dive guide

To reach the port was a nightmare, we were late 30 mn because of traffic and streets closed that the navigator did not know.. The journey was smooth onboard, we were 2 adults and 2 children ( 3 years old and 4 years old) The horrible surprise arrived at the end when Vittorio charged the 2 children FULL PRICE (35 Euros/Adult) Now, we reached the boat from Castelluzzo (over 40 mn drive). We could have taken the same excursion over San Vito Lo Capo (9 km drive) for a total of 80 Euros (30 Euros/adult and 20 Euros/child) but via phone Vittorio was not clear with the fact that the kids would have to pay FULL price.. Well, a saying goes: what goes around comes around...

We did the boattrip throughout the zingaro reserve several times now. It was always absolutely worth the time and money. The whole crew is very nice and supportive. They give you lots of Information about the Natural reserve. The groups are not too big. So you can dive or snorkel and still enjoy the beautiful nature in a peaceful surrounding.

We had booked a seaview room in advance but could not stay because of the amount of black mold on the AC and ceiling (hallways too). We asked the staff if they could cover it up somehow but they had no interest at all in helping us, they just said every room would have the same problem. We spent the whole day looking for another place to stay. Would not recommend if you want a clean place and helpful staff.
