Lovingly restored and redecorated rooms. Many personal belongings and items of the Bronte family on display, even the collar of Emily's dog Keeper. Lots of information and very interesting special exhibitions. Staff was friendly and did a great job at keeping the visitor flow inside the house organised. Have visited various times, there's always something new to discover. Very memorable!

This was my first visit since 1986. In that time, a new ticket office, gift shop, and new displays to enjoy have appeared. As the Parsonage has a lot of small rooms, the volunteers only allow a certain number of visitors in at a time. You may have a little wait to get inside. The museum has it's own car park, with public toilets Be warned - you need 30p to enter the Ladies. (Can't comment on the arrangements for the Gents!)

Great museum to wander round, particularly if you're interested in the Brontës. I got in slightly cheaper as I live in the area, which is pretty decent. There's a one-way system round the parsonage. In each room are information boards. There's then a museum type room with interactive sections. There's also a gift shop at the end selling books, pencils, postcards etc. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit, enjoyed reading the information on the family. Tickets are also valid for a whole year. If you have a young person they can complete an activity book about the Bronte's on the way around . Would recommend and gift shop at the end.

Well worth the visit. Ignore any negative reviews. Today I travelled back to the 19th Century and had a glimpse into the Brontë family, saw what they saw, walked where they walked. Please visit, you won't regret it!

As a self guided attraction this allows you time to look round and take everything in. My advice would be to take lots of photos, especially the information boards, and read them later, to ensure you don't impede the flow of visitors to the small rooms. Tip: read the price list on the parsonage wall before purchasing tickets - I didn't realise that Blue Light Card holders could get concessions until it was too late! Other concessions are available as listed, but the ticket office is behind the building and I don't recall seeing anything about concessions in there. Overall, a good place but, been there done that now. Next!

Our friends took us on the stream train from Oxenhope to Haworth to see the Brontë museum. It was amazing! The history and story of the family is hard to imagine. The hardships and struggle back in those days was real. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting.

If you’re a bronte lover, this is a place to go. Well maintained museum surrounded by many buildings, personage and gift shop. It also has a commonwealth graveyard next to it. I do want to mention that the tickets are a bit pricey so plan the journey. Also car park doesn’t take card so do carry cash. Easy access to wonderful town center with roads from the museum.

An emotional experience that is a must for any Brontë fan. Lovely, friendly staff and so much care and attention taken in keeping the house and it's artefacts well loved. Very emotional seeing the rooms where Emily and Charlotte passed. Activity booklet for children to complete as they look around, which was helpful. Splendid gift shop at the end too with lots to buy, you just have to decide what! (I could have bought it all!). Will definitely return in the future!

Had a great day visiting the Brontë personage museum With my family . Mesmerising memories of 3sisters were in each room .. Learned a lot about them from their wonderful work. got time to do a little walk around beautiful view and scenery. really recommend to everyone should visit a once at least.

This is an absolute must for all Brontë sisters lovers and fans. It was an incredibly moving experience to visit their home, see the very pens they wrote their littérature. The museum is beautifully maintained by knowledgeable staff, and a well presented brochure makes it very easy to self guide.

Very well preserved property. Perfect for Bronte fans. I'm not one but still glad I did the tour. Some lovely nearby pubs to visit afterwards.

My partner and I visited today and found the museum to be staffed by friendly and knowledgeable guides. The rooms are set out as they would have been when the family lived there. Well worth the entry fee and ticket is valid for 12 months.

Absolutely loved every moment of our visit here and in the local community. Such welcoming staff and a serene place to be. Depending on where you park, it can be a bit of an uphill trek so make sure to check out nearby car parks to get as close as possible; we went for Central Car Park (but there might be one closer)! Enjoy :)

A really special experience for Bronte lovers. Fascinating fine exhibits beautifully displayed in authentic settings. Read Juliet Barkers 'TheBrontes' as I did, beforehand, a remarkable work of history story telling, which the Bronte Parsonage brings to life.

Read in the 70s at school and now in my 50s finally come to visit and a great insight into their lives and takes you back into history. Takes an hour to look around and not too busy, if you like the books and watched Emily the film, you will like being here. Wonderful staff and small visitor centre to buy goodies.

An absolutely wonderful literary experience where you can step into the lives of the entire bronte family. In the loveliest little village town, Haworth and close to a fantastic waterfall walk. Ticket lasts a full year.

Bronte parsonage and the Bronte village are well worth a visit. The parsonage has fantastic information about the family and each room. I could envisage the family living there. It was very atmospheric. The only downside was it was really busy. I would have liked to have spent a bit longer in each room. However I did take lots of photos which I hope anyone reading this review will enjoy. I highly recommend a visit. The Bronte graves are inside the church. There are memorial plaques in the church but the actual graves are underneath one of the pillars in the church. The village is lovely. We had coffee at the bottom of the steep hill. Well worth the walk down.

A beautifully historic part of our British literature. A must-see building with a magnificent story behind women as writers, with a determination to succeed.

I was 12 the first time I came here with a teacher on a school trip, a lot of years ago. A lot has been added some things I knew a lot about. Knowing a little about the Brontë family is useful. It's a warm and welcoming museum which "wraps you up " when you walk in. It's not really a place for small children. There is a lovely park downhill which will keep them happy.

Lovely house and so much history we'll worth a visit

Went on the elf explorer was really good. My son absolutely loved it. He loves trains and we love the steam trains. Parking isn't brilliant we parked on a side street. Got given a few car parks to use which was confusing me when said walking distance but was 1.7 miles away which is fine if not slippy. The grotto was nice and loved the little extras. Food was OK but not the best. On the train we loved the elfs singing but thought would be better if the kids knew the songs so they could join in. Santa was good and crackers and things on the table were nice little extra. I would go again

We had a great day out and climbed up into Haworth village. Warning. This is a very steep climb if you go directly. You can go by following the road to the left which is more gradual. You end up near a clinic, you should then turn left and this lane will bring you to the village.

This was magic, a great place to visit. The staff where helpful and couldn't do enough, we got the day rider tickets and were very well priced, Every station is beautiful and lovingly restored. The train journey is wonderful taking you right back to the heydays of steam travel. Parking at Haworth was £3 for the day.

Had a great day out on the K&WVR. Bought a day rover ticket which is excellent value and means you can ride the trains as much as you like and visit the various attractions at each of the beautifully restored stations* *Keighley station is undergoing some building works at present. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I can highly recommend a visit!

One of the best heritage lines in the UK. A nostalgic and brilliant day out for the family. At a great price. With many events throughout the year. With easy access to the main links of public transport. This railway travels the beautiful worth valley from keighley to Oxenhope. With friendly helpful staff. Really awesome place, the hop on hop off day rover ticket is value for money. Getting off at each stop is an experience in its self. I especially found Haworth a pleasant treat. I purchased food from the railway carriage restaurant at Oxenhope which was fantastic. All in all a great day out. I would recommend for family's and solo travellers alike. Will be revisiting for sure.

Very nostalgic. Like going back in time. Great model shop for young and not so young. The staff work so hard to make it look and run so well.

I'm so lucky to have KWVR on my door step! The volunteers are so lovely and always happy to stop and have a chat and even let you have a look inside the train! The stations, facilities and carriages are well kept and maintained. I wholeheartedly take my hat off to those volunteers restoring the trains!

Really great day out. This is fantastic value for money for people of all ages. The railway is completely run by volunteers who are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended.

Beautifully preserved heritage steam railway station in a fantastic setting with friendly and helpful staff. A short but very steep walk to the local park and historical Haworth main street. All of this plus glorious steam trains with smell of coal and steam and the toot toot of living history.

The KWVR is tremendous and I would like to thank all involved who made our day so special. We moved to Haworth almost 3 years ago and one of our favourite events is the beer festival that they organise. October 12th check it out! This sparked an idea to get married in the exhibition shed where they hold said beer festival. 5 months of planning, alot of ideas and massive help from my amazing friend and wedding planner Bev. We (she) transformed the place. The whole event could not have been achieved without the help of Noel, Sam and all the staff at the railway. They were truly fantastic and highly commended by all my guests. They also made sure my wife's prosecco never reached the bottom ! Getting married at St Micheals and All Angels Church in Haworth and then down to Haworth Station to ride a steam engine to our reception is an unforgettable experience. I mean who rides a vintage train to their reception! All our guests were in awe and loved the entire day. Again all made possible by KWVR! They even on the day put a canopy outside the station because you know it rains in July ! Food arrived (hog roast) and staff made sure and asked me and Krisha if we needed them to get us a plate. We cannot rate them highly enough. I really hope they do more weddings there as its a truly amazing venue with truly amazing people.

Suddenly discovered it. And then what a great journey! A must ride if you are in the UK. The best thing in the UK. While travelling you will be able to see the beautiful landscapes. After arriving in Oxenhope one can take a nice walk towards Bronte's village. The train staffs were polite. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful National Trust house. Gorgeous small lake with ducks. To visit the house in winter is by guided tour only. It was very interesting and the guide was itching to give more information but was tied by time limits. The house is well kept and furnished with period pieces. The beautiful autumn sunshine helped us enjoy the walk in the gardens. Lovely little shop and cafe.

I had a lovely afternoon at East Riddlesden Hall, it was their Christmas fayre and there was also a choir singing too. A lovely festive atmosphere with lots of beautiful gift ideas from the many artisans and craftspeople. I had a delicious cheese scone and tea in the Bothy Tearoom and chose several gifts from their lovely shop. Then I wandered around the gardens in the beautiful sunny but freezing weather and the garden looked lovely covered with frost. A lovely day out all round.

Easy to walk to from bus stop, very busy with children during the holidays as expected but large enough to find peace in the gardens. Cafe very good spot for lunch, tuna and cheese jacket potato, coleslaw and tuna especially tasty. The gardens are beautiful

A hidden gem full of history! Built in the 17th century, the manor house keeps some a of original features. The house is fully decorated to recreate the atmosphere and the lifestyle through time, having plenty of explanatory notes . The staff is also available to answer any questions, being present in all the main rooms of the house. The ceiling and the oak furniture are remarkable. After exploring the house, we visited the gardens and I was totally mesmerized by the symphony of the colours and fragrances. A proper English garden with scented roses, peonies, jasmine, yellow bells and many other flowers that are a pure delight for the senses. The alley with the apple and pear trees is well maintained.The surroundings are beautiful too. Situated near the main road, it's very accessible by bus. I will be back 😊

Interesting site with lots of history. Various staff on hand to guide you through and provide insight into the buildings history and its inhabitants. Very Informative cards situated throughout the building to provide context to many of the items found within. Gardens were lovely with a tucked away area for children to play and explore. Good toilet facilities and a tea room on site. The barn is a great building to visit and was the highlight of my trip - the timber framed building is fascinating and a great example.

Loved this place. Little hidden gem. It isn't a day visit place, but a lovely way to spend an hour or so, eating in the cafe, noseying around the quaint rooms, feeding ducks, mooching in the small gardens. It feels warm and friendly, and I like how so much of the history is unknown: the changes of use are so obvious, it's intriguing.

This was a fantastic national trust property, really enjoyed it with lots of history. All the staff members we spoke to were very knowledgeable. This made it and I learnt so much. So it’s a must see if you are in the area 5 star ⭐️ definitely with seeing.

Was here on business driving the groom to this location. It's such a beautiful place, with loads of history and a lovely cafe. I only dropped one star because they are pushing weddings here but we're a bit OTT when we asked if the car could be taken to the front of the house for photo's. They refused claiming the health and safety issue that I might run someone over?!! I even said we could have someone in front walking but alas no not until they were closed at 1600. It didn't ruin the day but I do think that allowing the safe placement of a vintage type car in front of the magnificent house would give the wedding photo's a fabulous background.

An interesting visit. Car park has several levels. Interesting gardens. Cafe on two floors. Good shop. The house is open on two floors and houses many volunteers who are knowledgeable and happy to share with you. There is a children's trail adding interest for youngsters. Enjoyed the visit.

Fantastic little gem, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Informative information sheets in each room and enthusiastic guides on hand to answer any questions Lovely cottage gardens to stroll around and an incredible Great Barn. Nice cafe upstairs with delicious coffee and scones.

Great place to visit. Smaller than some of the other National Trust venues, but made better by the knowledge and enthusiasm of the volunteers. 1-1.5 hours is probably all you'll need to cover everything.

Best Scone I have ever had at the Cafe. Lovely friendly people there and great knowledgeable volunteers. Loved the property but it was the volunteers that made it because I learnt a lot. You must go to the Cafe as well. Lovely food freshly baked.

Brilliant day out, very relaxed looking around the house and grounds. Good for children and adults. Fabulous cafe, which we lingered in. Then browsed in the gift shop. We will be back.

This is a gem of a National Trust site. Neither the house nor gardens are huge but the presentation is first class. This is a bit more of a "normal" house than most NT sites. That makes it a bit more accessible than is often the case. The labelling and information is great and the volunteers were really enthusiastic. There is a pleasant walk for 25 minutes beside the river, lots of good picnic sites and it is quite dog friendly. The small cafe staff were friendly and efficient which is not always the way at NT sites. The food was simple but good and the gluten free availability was better than many larger sites.

A fascinating couple of hours, nestled into Keighley and a great place to while away the time learning about the history of this old hall. The cafe is as good as all NT cafes always are, and the staff & volunteers can't do enough to help.

Me and my wife had a wonderful day out here using a National Trust free pass. It was great to explore the hall and see how well it has been preserved over the last 400 years. All of the volunteers are lovely and very informative. A great day out all round and well worth a visit to learn about some local history.

St Michael & All Angels Church in Haworth is a beautiful and historic place of worship that is a must-visit for those who appreciate the rich heritage of the area. The church, which is located on Haworth's main street, is a stunning example of Gothic architecture with its soaring arches, stained glass windows, and intricate stone carvings. The exterior of the church is just as impressive, with an old cemetery that adds to the overall atmosphere of the site.

Friday afternoon. Have afternoon tea, 3 type of sandwiches, scones & cakes at FORTEAS Lovely decos of 1940. Walk up a steep slope up to St Michael & All Angels Church. Along the beautiful shops of cakes, souvenirs, plants & flowers shops, pubs etc.

Alas this church was extended by the Victorians and given a makeover (smashed down). The vault of the Bronte family is beneath much concrete and just a plaque marks its site. Worthy of a visit and the church has a few souvenirs to buy and staff on site at the weekend.

Visited the grave of Tabatha, the Bronte's much loved Servant, who is buried off to the right of the sign on the wall as you look at the picture of thd Parsonage. If you are trying to find this it says on the last couple of lines that she was the much beloved Servant to the Bronte family. After you find that line you can just about make out her name a couple of lines up as it is a family plot. Time waits for no man.

A beautiful church, with a lot of interesting history and information about the parish and the Bronte family. The church accepts donations, both by cash and card, as via their website.

Atmospheric beautiful and sad when you read the headstones so many died very young . Wss overgrown when I went just as lockdown was ending but I think it added to the beauty and peacefulness of the place

Absolutely stunning wee church. Guide in the church on day we visited could not have been more informative. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Some very interesting facts about the church too. Well worth a visit and always nice to stick some money in the donation tin to help keep up this valuable piece of history.

Impressive building and surroundings. The windows are amazing and the graveyard is eerily beautiful.

Little hidden treasure! Spotted this place on the map and what a lovely bonus it was! Really eclectic collection but the period decor is stunning and I think there's something for everyone here. Shame they don't have a café but well worth a little trip, and I'm sure the grounds are lovely in the spring.

Great easter activities. Very informative with free items. Every child got a free book and entered competitions and got free herb seeds to plant. The museum was bigger than I expected with lots of different informative displays. The children's favourite was the crystal room and where the animals were displayed. They made bookmarks with help inside the activity room. It was a great day and we will be back. The grounds are big with lots of paths and a playground. There was also a cafe and toilets on site.

This is a beautiful open space to visit and walk around or sit and enjoy the water features and flowers. An onsite cafe is a nice addition as well as an Aviary. One of the main attractions is the museum. Parking on site is limited but it is possible to park on the adjacent road. A hidden gem that is worth a visit

Really interesting place and well worth a visit. The exhibits were interesting for the most part, the collection of minerals and crystals, was a surprise and quite spectacular. The gardens are well kept with some beautiful trees and shrubs. We all loved the pond and fountain. There is a nice cafe with some really nice cakes and ice cream. As I said earlier it's well worth a visit.

Expansive collection of antiques, local heritage, historical, and natural artefacts. The grounds are lovely for a walk in the nice weather, and the architecture is suitably impressive. Personal favourite area was the hall with all the old industrial history and tools in, very interesting. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but plenty of side streets to park in if car park is full. Parking is free, entry is free, and photography is allowed. Definitely support this amazing public space!

Fantastic (house) museum which covers 3 large furnished Victorian rooms, natural history rooms ( I have never seen as many stuffed British animals exhibited)and archaeology. Up stairs is a display of Morris and Co stain glass among local history. We spent 2 hours in the museum and would of stayed longer but we didn't arrive until 1.45pm and it closed at 4.00pm There is also a small park with fountains and an aviary along with a cafe. Incredibly this is free to visit, although it relies on donations. The free car park is small but there is off road parking.

A great place to spend a couple of hours whatever the weather. The museum is rather like the TARDIS, bigger than expected once inside. Plenty to see and read in a traditional style museum, with plenty of exhibits reflecting the local heritage. The conservatory style cafe is lovely too. Not surprisingly well frequented. Good food and a bonus... raspberry jam provided, once asked for, in place of the ubiquitous strawberry jam!

Amazing, beautiful full of diverse and wonderful items, very well maintained, gardens, park, cafe , botanical and entire interior....and all for donations, no actual entry fee, staff all very welcoming and professional! A great afternoon out for all the family!

Very lucky to have free days out like this on the doorstep. Spent a good few hours in the museum and gardens. My son enjoyed the play park, aviary and small animals section. The cafe is nice we brought a picnic and just bought our drinks :) Lovely views. Randomly, Devonshire park is situated across the road so we went in there for more of a walk / play and after both we were tired out ready for home!

Beautiful peaceful gardens, aviaries, rabbits and guinea pigs outside. Glass house with plants and a lovely museum. Best of all is that it is completely free. The cafe is also excellent.

What an unexpected lovely place. I was walking past (free road parking) and saw the sign so thought I'd wander. Lovely building, grounds, conservatory, cafe, play area and cycle route... All free, donations welcome as it'll cost a bit to look after. So much to see, detailed rooms, balcony, staff to answer questions. Sadly I didn't have time to see the minerals section but was amazed at the variety of taxidermy. All set out as in their habitat.... Some of which may be the only way to see them as humans take over. Fetch a picnic, some cash and have a wander it's great!!

What a fantastic place to visit! A great little museum which is like a rabbit warren, it just goes on forever! Really interesting displays and lots to look at. The grounds are beautiful to look around and the cafe was lovely. All of the staff we encountered across the whole site were friendly and helpful, a great way to spend a few hours on a sunny autumn afternoon.

Cliffe Castle is the best park for a dog walker in Keighley. You have formal gardens at the top, near the cafe and glasshouse bit. There's a museum and even a little zoo/aviary. Picnic benches overlook a green just above a kids playground. Then there's lots of dog friendly areas for walking lower down, some wooded bits and big expanses of grass. The cafe is dog friendly and has indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing museum situated in a small Manor house/Castle. Free entry with donations accepted. Also has a beautiful park on the grounds. Free parking and coffee shop/cafe. Would highly recommend. 👍

Been here a few times over the years as it's free. Also come for parkrun sometimes on a Saturday morning at 9. Today, I brought my two nieces (3 + 5) for a visit. We first of all explored the grounds, saw the fountains and the animals which they enjoyed. They then spent a massive chunk of time in the playground. The kids playground it great, plenty of equipment for different ages and lots of space. It was never too busy either, though that could be because of the weather! Finally we went around the museum. They liked the bees and soon found the Queen Bee. They also liked seeing the bones of the animals. Great place for a visit. We spent the whole morning here. We took some snacks for midmorning. There is a cafe here but we didn't use it. There's decent toilets and also a small shop here. Finally, try the musical stones as they're ace!

Really beautiful spot and lovely walk over the moors to get here from Haworth. Carry on up to Top Withens to extend the walk and amazing views down the valley.

We found this walk by accident and so glad 😊 we did. The weather wasn't too kind for us because it through all the seasons at us in one afternoon, but still is a rememorable walk and will come back to do it again. As most of my walks 🚶‍♀️ it's a circular route with a choice of two pubs at the end of it 😀. We started from the village of Stanbury and headed for back lane which is sign posted 📫 to the falls. Just over 2.5 miles and not too strenuous, but good footwear is needed as you climb over a few rocks in places. After the falls you head round to the lower laithe reservoir and back up to the village or at the reservoir it's signposted to Haworth which is only 1 mile and takes you away from the main road and comes out just before you enter Haworth . And funnily enough you find some more public houses 🏘.

A stunning place to visit either as a solo walker/hiker, a couple or with the family. We had a great time with a picnic, and had plenty of fun in the water with our dog and boys. There are lots of sheep along the paths so be mindful of keeping your dog very close or on a lead. Walking boots/shoes are ideal and sometimes (during wet seasons) it can be slippery.

Amazing walk, especially on a sunny day, but even if it rain (as it did on our walk) the views and the atmosphere is just breathtaking! I would recommend this to any Wuthering Heights fan, or anyone who is just looking for a bit of nature, untouched by technology. As a plus you’ll probably encounter many sheep just casually staring at you or crossing the road. If the weather permits do take the path leading across the moors not just around, it’s well worth it!💚

A beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately when I visited it had been after a relatively dry spell so there was no waterfall but rather a steady trickle flow. I can imagine it would be quite spectacular after heavy rains but equally that would mean access to the site would probably be considerably trickier. So you would have to choose ease of access or spectacular waterfall. Either way the surrounding countryside is incredibly beautiful and it is nice just to be in the footsteps of the Bronte sisters that hasn't been too spoiled.

Lovely walk to the Bronte Waterfall, with great scenery. Don't expect a big grand waterfall, its not big!

What a beautiful little spot that is well worth a visit no matter what the weather! I went early morning just after the sun had risen and didn’t see a single soul on my walk there and back. Always a real delight to have a nature spot all to yourself, especially one as pretty as this! Free parking is available in the Penistone Hill Country park car parks. Short and direct walk along a gravel path that is sign posted from the road, if you haven’t chosen to walk up from Haworth village. The views all the way along are breathtaking. The scenery here is really quite divine and I feel blessed to have caught it as the autumnal hues take over.

Stunning waterfall on a peak takes around 25 mins to walk quite steep ,free parking but not much available so best to go on weekday good footwear needed and bring a lunch & snacks as you can sit by the river at the bottom choose a dry day! The surroundings are beautiful 😍 highly recommend!

The waterfall is small but worth the trip as it is a nice walk. The big problem was that the signpost from the car park showed the direction but we found nothing else to help us so we relied on Google maps as we trekked over the Heather. We followed the actual path back, which was much easier and lead us back to just above where we were parked but it could have done with better signposting, such as a map at the car park to show the way.

Beautiful walk across the Bronte Moors, culminating in these other worldly seeming falls. It's an easy walk, especially if the weather is nice. We soaked our feet in the spring (it was that hot). The views while getting to the falls is equally stunning. Would definitely love to go back there and spend more time taking it all in.

Great walk from Haworth to the Brontë waterfall and back (about 5.5 miles). Very quiet this morning as it was a bit drizzly, though sometimes it can be very busy.

It's such a beautiful place. We came here for the day. The walk was so peaceful and everyone one was very friendly. Absolutely amazing place to visit.

Lovingly restored and redecorated rooms. Many personal belongings and items of the Bronte family on display, even the collar of Emily's dog Keeper. Lots of information and very interesting special exhibitions. Staff was friendly and did a great job at keeping the visitor flow inside the house organised. Have visited various times, there's always something new to discover. Very memorable!

This was my first visit since 1986. In that time, a new ticket office, gift shop, and new displays to enjoy have appeared. As the Parsonage has a lot of small rooms, the volunteers only allow a certain number of visitors in at a time. You may have a little wait to get inside. The museum has it's own car park, with public toilets Be warned - you need 30p to enter the Ladies. (Can't comment on the arrangements for the Gents!)

Great museum to wander round, particularly if you're interested in the Brontës. I got in slightly cheaper as I live in the area, which is pretty decent. There's a one-way system round the parsonage. In each room are information boards. There's then a museum type room with interactive sections. There's also a gift shop at the end selling books, pencils, postcards etc. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit, enjoyed reading the information on the family. Tickets are also valid for a whole year. If you have a young person they can complete an activity book about the Bronte's on the way around . Would recommend and gift shop at the end.

Well worth the visit. Ignore any negative reviews. Today I travelled back to the 19th Century and had a glimpse into the Brontë family, saw what they saw, walked where they walked. Please visit, you won't regret it!

As a self guided attraction this allows you time to look round and take everything in. My advice would be to take lots of photos, especially the information boards, and read them later, to ensure you don't impede the flow of visitors to the small rooms. Tip: read the price list on the parsonage wall before purchasing tickets - I didn't realise that Blue Light Card holders could get concessions until it was too late! Other concessions are available as listed, but the ticket office is behind the building and I don't recall seeing anything about concessions in there. Overall, a good place but, been there done that now. Next!

Our friends took us on the stream train from Oxenhope to Haworth to see the Brontë museum. It was amazing! The history and story of the family is hard to imagine. The hardships and struggle back in those days was real. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting.

If you’re a bronte lover, this is a place to go. Well maintained museum surrounded by many buildings, personage and gift shop. It also has a commonwealth graveyard next to it. I do want to mention that the tickets are a bit pricey so plan the journey. Also car park doesn’t take card so do carry cash. Easy access to wonderful town center with roads from the museum.

An emotional experience that is a must for any Brontë fan. Lovely, friendly staff and so much care and attention taken in keeping the house and it's artefacts well loved. Very emotional seeing the rooms where Emily and Charlotte passed. Activity booklet for children to complete as they look around, which was helpful. Splendid gift shop at the end too with lots to buy, you just have to decide what! (I could have bought it all!). Will definitely return in the future!

Had a great day visiting the Brontë personage museum With my family . Mesmerising memories of 3sisters were in each room .. Learned a lot about them from their wonderful work. got time to do a little walk around beautiful view and scenery. really recommend to everyone should visit a once at least.

This is an absolute must for all Brontë sisters lovers and fans. It was an incredibly moving experience to visit their home, see the very pens they wrote their littérature. The museum is beautifully maintained by knowledgeable staff, and a well presented brochure makes it very easy to self guide.

Very well preserved property. Perfect for Bronte fans. I'm not one but still glad I did the tour. Some lovely nearby pubs to visit afterwards.

My partner and I visited today and found the museum to be staffed by friendly and knowledgeable guides. The rooms are set out as they would have been when the family lived there. Well worth the entry fee and ticket is valid for 12 months.

Absolutely loved every moment of our visit here and in the local community. Such welcoming staff and a serene place to be. Depending on where you park, it can be a bit of an uphill trek so make sure to check out nearby car parks to get as close as possible; we went for Central Car Park (but there might be one closer)! A really special experience for Bronte lovers. Fascinating fine exhibits beautifully displayed in authentic settings. Read Juliet Barkers 'TheBrontes' as I did, beforehand, a remarkable work of history story telling, which the Bronte Parsonage brings to life.

Read in the 70s at school and now in my 50s finally come to visit and a great insight into their lives and takes you back into history. Takes an hour to look around and not too busy, if you like the books and watched Emily the film, you will like being here. Wonderful staff and small visitor centre to buy goodies.

An absolutely wonderful literary experience where you can step into the lives of the entire bronte family. In the loveliest little village town, Haworth and close to a fantastic waterfall walk. Ticket lasts a full year.

Bronte parsonage and the Bronte village are well worth a visit. The parsonage has fantastic information about the family and each room. I could envisage the family living there. It was very atmospheric. The only downside was it was really busy. I would have liked to have spent a bit longer in each room. However I did take lots of photos which I hope anyone reading this review will enjoy. I highly recommend a visit. The Bronte graves are inside the church. There are memorial plaques in the church but the actual graves are underneath one of the pillars in the church. The village is lovely. We had coffee at the bottom of the steep hill. Well worth the walk down.

A beautifully historic part of our British literature. A must-see building with a magnificent story behind women as writers, with a determination to succeed.

I was 12 the first time I came here with a teacher on a school trip, a lot of years ago. A lot has been added some things I knew a lot about. Knowing a little about the Brontë family is useful. It's a warm and welcoming museum which "wraps you up " when you walk in. It's not really a place for small children. There is a lovely park downhill which will keep them happy.

From start to finish a great experience. Staff very friendly, great value admission. Lots of information without being too much. Well laid out, and to be able to sit in carriages all on one level superb. Really disabled friendly and lots of flat surfaces. Definitely go and visit.

12.11.22 - Great museum and great cause. Visited to view the carriages used in the Granada Sherlock Holmes series and wasn’t disappointed. The gift shop kept the daughter happy too. Highly recommended.

Good collection of old engines and carriages, and there's even a small loco you can climb into the cabin of.

Lots to see and explore inside the carriage works, there are plenty of information posters provided, as well as a DVD playing in one corner and a few interactive talks inside the carriages. The staff were also very knowledgeable and more than happy to answer any questions. There was a gift shop available with an extensive range of books and magazines related to the railway, all of which were very affordable.

We travelled from Haworth to Keighley on the train and on the return journey stopped off here. A great place to get off the train and have a visit. Railway carriages that have been used in many tv dramas and films. A little gem for anyone interested in railways. Jumped back on train due to arrive and continued the journey back to Haworth.

Really enjoyed the worth Valley railway..regular visitor with the grandson...something at most of the stations great day out and good value for money

Went for the Flying Scotsman cab visit (which was excellent) and enjoyed entry into the museum. Very interesting information and exhibits, especially the carriages that had appeared in films and TV shows. Nice journey to Oxenhope via steam train through Haworth (can stop along the line and rejoin the service when you wish). Fantastic day out

Nice collection of railway carriages and small gift shop. Good selection of railway books. You can go on some carriage. Small foldable lift next to steps to get inside the carriages.

Impressive museum with thoughtful exhibits, archive materials, and a decent shop, especially for books on the subject. I brought my young son and he had a great time exploring the carriages and shouting "choo choo train" repeatedly at the top of his voice while diving in and out of the different carriages. There's another museum at the other end of the car park and you can get a ticket that admits to you both. I really feel like they may as well just pretend to be one museum. Together they punch above their weight for the quality of their well preserved exhibits and friendly welcoming visitor experience.

This is not your normal rail museum. The collection is almost entirely passenger cars. However, these cars all have both history and a filmography. All the cars have featured in movies and or television shows. To hear the stories of famous actors appearing out a window or sitting in a particular compartment is an unusual aspect of this museum. There are other elements to this museum, including a magazine shop with items dating back to 1901. These include some of the earliest examples of railway magazine publishing, and that alone is a huge draw card. The on-site team is wonderful, helpful, and friendly.

An amazing display of carriage rolling stock and even items of intrest on display, along with you being able to go inside most of preserved carriages and a steam locomotive (Lord Mayor) they have on display see how they looked back in the day when they were running down the railway line.

Amazing chocolate, but what really stood out for me was how lovely the shopkeeper was (sorry, not sure if he was the owner or not). He was so great with my 3 year old son, and allowed him to scan all of our chocolate bags and play "shopkeeper". He was so patient and attentive and we will definitely return!

Excellent little chocolate shop with a really friendly and helpful owner. Asked my children if they'd like to "assist" with the sale and allowed them to operate the scanner and press the buttons on the till. I will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in Haworth.

Popped in based on reviews. What a great selection of sweet treats. Nice variety of flavors. Bought some small raspberry truffle which melt in the mouth. Yum!

Fantastic selection. But the stand out here is the customer service. Simon was so kind to my little girl, who has communication difficulties, and managed to get her to interact with him & work The till. Amazing and very kind.

Lovely little chocolate shop with a very warm welcome and a delightful selection of chocolates and other treats. The man that served me convinced me to try one of their chocolates, in which I was not disappointed. Very friendly service helping choose my partner's gift box for her 30th birthday. Highly recommend paying a visit and buying a bucket load of chocolate! 😃

I’d been to Haworth a few years ago and savoured And Chocolate of Haworth’s delicious wares then. I went again with my sons a few days ago and they, like me, were enchanted by this little shop of wonderful treats! Such a fabulous selection and generous hospitality from the owner. When I saw the combination of Baileys and chocolate (Baileys truffles), how could I resist? Im glad I didn’t. The chocolates we bought kept us happy all the way back to Glasgow.

The truffles are divine! I went back to Haworth recently about six years after my previous visit, and this chocolate shop was still selling the same salted toffee and coconut oil truffles! They are probably the best chocolates in the world!

A wonderful experience. There was excellent customer service from both the gentleman and the lady shopkeeper. They were both knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us samples of some delicious chocolates and we couldn't resist buying an assortment to take home.

This shop looks after all of its customers very well! They were giving out taster chocolate as we arrived, explained to us which chocolates were halal and served us with a smile. Definitely recommend

Easy to find as just off main road in the town centre. Car park is available near by or off street parking however didn't find anyone there to be of assistance when trying to find out about an event.

The Keighley Civic Centre is an ideal place to host a variety of events. Often overlooked, but great value for money.

Keighley council gardeners r just the best I don't know of any other town who plants round the bottom of their tree, Keighley does. They r brilliant, well done

Some workers can’t be asked answer your questions properly it’s like when someone goes in it’s like they’re a burden on the people behind the desk lack of enthusiasm and provide incorrect information too due to my own personal experience with these people they need to do their job properly not just on their backsides talking about the soaps on television whilst the general public awaits it’s bad

Possibly one of the worst run councils in the UK. There is a hierachy system in place where by a small group of councillors get together in backroom meetings to control the flow of information to other councillors and the public. This would be fine if they made good decisions and did so with healthy morals and honor, but everything they do is to better their own, individual, causes and egos, instead of putting their town first. Any councillor, or member of the public, that disagrees with them have been bullied into submission and been excluded from vital information. Noteable examples of this include the bungled refurbishment of the civic centre, raising the local precept by 72.6% to help pay for it, not allowing members of the public to film or record council meetings, poorly recorded minutes, poorly run meetings, alleged poorly maintained accounts and having members of the public ejected from council meetings for simply raising concerns. At time of writing there is currently an audit being conduncted on the council's accounts with 30 odd alleged breaches. This council has even been named by MP's as an example of a poorly run local council.

Enjoyed going here to line dancing and meeting up with everyone.

My family and I came to the Black Bull after being turned away from other local pubs as we had our two daughters with us. The Manager and his staff gave us the warmest welcome and we had a brilliant evening. There's a great selection of beers at good prices, and everyone was so chatty. Staff and locals included. After a few cold receptions it was a real breath of fresh air to find this place. We'll 100% be going back again.

My recent stay at The Black Bull in Haworth was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, boasting a perfect blend of comfort and style. Tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, they provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. Speaking of which, the location of The Black Bull couldn't be better. Nestled in the heart of Haworth, it offers easy access to the quaint streets lined with historic buildings and charming shops. The peaceful ambiance of the surroundings added to the overall allure of the place. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness truly made my experience memorable.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch. Roast pork with all the trimmings. Beautifully presented with melt in the mouth roast pork and nicely cooked veg accompanied by tasty gravy and a big Yorkshire pudding. Friendly attentive staff. Highly recommended.

My husband and myself stayed at The Black Bull overnight. What a lovely stay, it was fabulous and I recommend it to anyone ☺️ The staff are so lovely and respectful especially Ava who sang happy birthday to me and brought over a plate with some beautiful berries and a big Happy Birthday wrote in a lovely strawberry sauce with some cream. People remember small acts of kindness. Thank you for making our stay very special, so sweet of you. Food is delicious too. We will definitely go back and stay on special occasions. From Sue xx .

It would have been 5 stars for the food, we enjoyed our main courses very much. We were going to order dessert but we were told that we couldn't. No-one explained why not, we can only presume that it was because my 13 year old Grandson was with us and they were setting up live music. So we paid the bill and left. It would have been helpful if we had been told this at the beginning and we would have eaten a bit quicker and ordered dessert earlier! Definitely 5 stars for the food though.

Large pub right by the church in the middle of the village. Decent range of beers and the food was pretty good. Dog friendly in all but one of the areas inside. Cracking views from the tables outside. Not the friendliest staff even though the pub wasn't very busy.

A busy pub at the top of the main street in Haworth. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. We didn't eat but it was extremely popular with lots of people having a meal.

The staff here are so grumpy! We've honestly had more fun at a funeral. Where on earth did they find the new landlords and the tall lad who grunts at you. They don't play music anymore so you end up whispering so other people don't listen to your conversations. It's as if they don't want to have customers. If you are that miserable and grumpy you shouldn't be working in a pub

Visited the black bull while staying in Haworth. It's a warm welcoming pub and the people and staff a very friendly, they have a good selection of beers and spirits and a good selection of food on the menu. It is one of the most haunted pubs in Haworth but we did not experience anything. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We maybe got an off night - it was very quiet and looked lovely on the outside. Staff were friendly but the food was not good. The lasagna came cold, though it was taken to be replaced and came back hot. Even then, it was dry but at least had plenty meat. The garlic bread was inedible, had no actual garlic, seemed like just garlic salt and powder cheese. The burger was better but a really small portion for the price. At £15 each the meals were disappointing. The beer was standard but the wine was clearly old. Not sure I'd recommend based on our experience - judging by other reviews there might be things on the menu that are better, but we wouldn't go back to find out.

Booked for Sunday Lunch. Strip loin roast beef and Pork belly was on offer. The dishes arrived after a short wait. The presentation was excellent, the portion size just right with extra jugs of gravy. However the best bit was the actual quality of the food and the cooking. I had the Pork Belly, it was perfect, amazing crispy pork crackling on top with soft, juicy pork with just enough fat to had perfect flavour, but melt in your mouth. Accompanied with various veg & potatoes - roasted, mashed and purred. A really great plate of food and an excellent Sunday Lunch. You should be proud & THANK YOU. We will return 👍👍👍

Good pub with a lovely lady serving behind the bar. Stopped for a spot of lunch. They were only doing hit roast sandwiches, which was fine with us. You got a good plate full, including chips, salad & a jug of gravy. Unfortunately, the beef was a little fatty, but otherwise all was fine.

We travelled to Howath from York as it was recommended by friends. We Arrived at 12pm and wasn’t greeted or welcomed. The pub was quiet and we was 1 of the only 3 tables in at the time. We waited 25 minutes for 4 drinks. Our starters arrived after 30 minutes however we were then waited 2.5 hours after our starters went back for our mains. We ended up cancelling our food order after 2 hours and 45 minutes of waiting.

Went to see a band called Fay and Latter, what a fantastic night. the music was really good and created a good friendly vibe amongst the drinkers. the beer was reasonably priced, the service was on the ball and the staff were a credit to the pub, the pub itself was very well presented and very clean. All round a fantastic night. a great pub, highly recommend, On a bad note! the hangover wasn't very pleasant.

On entering the Black Bull the decor, range of beers and ambience will lead you to believe that you've stumbled upon one of Howarth's finest, however, when the food arrives this will all change, in fact, such was my disappointment in the quality of food that I actually felt more like someone was trying to commit a crime against me, my visit was at lunch time and I opted for the Braised Beef priced at around £13 with chips an additional £3 if you wanted them, the menu suggested what I was about to receive was rich braised beef, pipping hot served moist within homemade brown bread, instead what I got was cold dry beef in 2 slices of shop bought brown bread that had been grilled on a dirty griddle. Clearly I sent it back (in fact our whole table sent the food back) The Black Bull could be a gem and new kitchen team and owners who put quality at the heart of everything they do and it will be great, until then avoid at all costs for food!!

After a 9 mile walk we were glad to make our reservation. Fantastic location, great decor, dog friendly in the front section of the bar.

Nice pub for grub , prices ok but for the second time very short staffed so a long wait for food, which unfortunately came cold. Worth a visit when you get back to the top of the hill but make sure you have plenty of time left on your parking.

We went to the black bull about 4 weeks ago for our lunch and decided to book Christmas dinner for 3 of us on Christmas Day at a cost of £80 each.and was offered a table in a good spot. When we arrived on Christmas Day we were offered a different table to the one we had booked so therefore didn’t feel comfortable but didn’t complain as the pub was full and the staff were very busy. When the food came the starter wasn’t too bad but when then the main course came it wasn’t very warm the veg were very dry I think they had been roasted and the turkey was in the form of a rolled joint with seasoning in the middle (rather like one of Bernard Mathews joints) I did eat my meal because I was conscious of what was paid but my other family members couldn’t eat there’s they said it was disgusting. We expected a proper Christmas dinner with real slices of turkey and traditionally cooked veg. We were so looking forward to our meal only to be greatly disappointed with what we received for £240 and will not be going here again. We felt like we were squeezed in as an extra and vastly overcharged for what we received. Should have gone to brewers fryer instead would have been much cheaper for a better quality meal.

Lovely atmosphere. Cosy vibes in pub. Rooms lovely. Appreciated the bottled water in the room. Breakfast lovely but didn't realise you had to pay with it being advertised as B&B. Food in the evening, the turkey sandwich was actually really fatty but overall edible. Landlord very jolly and happy. Was extremely busy with it being a Christmas event weekend but they still managed to be cheerful.

We had food there and it was really nice. Staff very friendly, busy place, welcomes pets. Great place where to stop for a drink or something to eat.

Quality pub with really helpful staff and the best young waitress working hard to see to every table possible, nothing we asked was too much trouble for her. Just back from a lovely stay at The Apothecary. Great hosts, friendly and welcoming. Perfect breakfast, quality produce, piping hot and perfect egg (I'm fussy!) and lovely views from the dining room. Excellent location in the village and amazing value for money.

The apothecary guest House is situated in a ideal location with stunning views. Run by two brothers who are really nice and friendly the breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay again

The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were great to talk to. They were also fantastic with my 8 year old child. The room was was comfortable and spacious. Husband loved the bed, a bit too hard for me but definitely wouldn't stop me coming back. The complimentary breakfast was of the highest quality produce and was cooked to perfection.

This guest house, situated right in the center of Haworth's downtown, was simply wonderful. We stayed one night in the two twin bedroom. The amenities were simple, but there is no comparing the view of the church and downtown Haworth from our room or the smell of the apothecary store wafting into our room! It smelled of lavender and was so lovely. The breakfast was a full English and quite phenomenal (and included in the stay)! The hosts were kind and friendly and very accommodating, allowing us to check in at 10:30 am! Everything is directly outside the guest house. We literally parked our car at the parsonage museum car park (4£ for the night) and didn't need it until we left! We loved Haworth so much - can't wait to visit again.

Had originally booked 2 rooms but 2 dropped out, rang and spoke to Nick (owner) he told me what to do, he then booked me into a twin room. Room clean, beds comfy, free wifi, good breakfast. Downside no good if you struggle with stairs. Had a wonderful 2 days with my sister. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The owners are so friendly and helpful, it's a lovely place to stay, our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and we had a gorgeous veiw from our window. The full English breakfast was very nice too. It is situated in a perfect spot on the main street and I recommend it and would stay there again myself.

Best pint in Haworth. The IPA is excellent and the Hells Bells hits the spot also, both were served perfectly in every way. The food is well worth a mention also, especially the Yorkshire pudding dishes, the beef in particular. Dog friendly.

Love this place, food was great and worth the wait (as it's small they cook by the order so be prepared for a short wait during busy times) the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was fantastic. Abit hot, could do with turning the AC on to help make it more comfortable.

We forgot to book in advance so didn't get a chance to eat, but the drinks more than made up for it. I especially loved the toffee apple gin with their recommended tonic. It was nothing like I ever tasted before. Delicious!

Highly recommend this place , good honest grub, tasty and well presented and value for money . Service was fab, we were well looked after by the staff. There was a great atmosphere, it was busy and lively. A fab selection of drinks, not just beer and gin- although they are fab. Look forward to coming back! Highly recommend

It was a wet & cold day but we had a warm welcome. The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious and warmed us up. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Haworth Steam Brewing Co.

Excellent Bar with locally brewed beers, there were 3 handpumps with 5 beers on across the 3 days we were in Haworth, and all were in fantastic condition. Very friendly staff and locals. Food looked lovely although we didn't eat. Booking essential to get a table for food we discovered. Warning, there is only 1 toilet!

Absolutely fantastic evening and food. A good selection of real ales, a food menu which I could have quite easily chosen every single dish. The food was cooked to perfection and the tentative staff were amazing. I must for anyone in the area and it's not going to break the bank either. Win, win all round.

New micro brewery for me. Absolutely packed micro bar on a sunny June Sunday. Had a pint of Willie Ekerslike (as Yorkshire as a pudding.) and one of Farmers Pale Ale. Probably from Bradfield brewery. Very much a doggie bar. Found a seat on table for 8, much to the chagrin of the 3 people sat there. People are strange.

The food was incredible. the Haworth gins are amazing especially teamed up with their own tonics, they compliment each other so well. The toffee gin matched with sour bramley apple tonic is like liquid bonfire night. The blackjack gin is like liquid blackjack sweets so no jaw lock. So looking forward to trying the other flavours.

A great bar and restaurant, funky, well laid out and we loved it. The Miss Mollies gin and mixers are the best ever! We dined there last night, the menu is huge although veggie choice was limited BUT it was delicious (Lasagne). Loved it, we will be back.

Friendly service. I sat for an hour with a pot of tea while waiting for a friend. I ordered steak and ale pie served with home made chips which was beautiful. My friend ordered calves liver which she was not happy with. It was changed with no problem. Place was quite busy and the 2 ladies worked hard serving both drinks and food.

Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful building with lots of character. A great selection of alcoholic beverages. I enjoyed my halloumi and veg skewer with flat bread and found it tasty and filling. However my friends that had pie said it was lacking in filling and the mash and veg were in short supply. They were still hungry after eating it. Wouldn't have been enough for my husband! Overall a good evening though.

Had an excellent lunch. Steak cooked how I requested. A shout out to the lovely friendly young lady that served us. She was attentive, helpful and worked extremely hard in a busy time but with a smile for everyone. Would highly recommend this place. Excellent food and excellent value for the two course specials menu we had. Thankyou.

We stayed overnight in the large room above the main entrance. What a beautiful room! It was wonderfully furnished and a very special place to stay. We also ate in the restaurant and had a fabulous meal. The staff were all excellent. The hotel is so close to the main street and all the Haworth sights. Overall we had an excellent time and can't wait to return.

The staff are smiling helpfully and very easy to talk too. We changed our table to allow our dog to stay with us. Food was excellent and very tasty. I had a starter which wasn’t to my liking (my fault) they exchanged it quickly without fuss. Looked after us and brought a bowl of water and treats for Odin. Very very helpful and certainly will be going back and even staying over.

Lovely inside. Friendly staff; accommodating our unannounced visit for 4 adults and 5 kids, plus two dogs. Drinks x2 rounds and main course, plus two dogs dinners (which is cool) £150. Would go again…

Lovely friendly welcome, shown to our table and a blanket brought over for the dog to lie on. Drinks order taken & delivered very quickly. We ordered the calamari as a sharing starter. Very tender & tasty. I ordered my usual scampi & chips for main course with the homemade tartar sauce being particularly good. My husband ordered the ham hock which was absolutely delicious. Very tender (fell off the bone) and the mustard sauce was delicious. Lovely friendly waitresses & the bar itself is very homely & welcoming. Good prices, a great dining experience and would definitely return when we visit again

A lovely venue for a meal or just a drink in a good location for all the tourist attractions. The staff were excellent and the service was very good. We didn't have very long to wait for our meals which were delicious and well presented and were all reasonably priced. The toilets were on the ground floor and spotlessly clean. There is ample car parking and a lovely sitting out area. Well worth a visit

Booking a table was easy online. On arrival we were shown to our table almost immediately, staff were extremely friendly and professional. Service was quick and the food was 1st class and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning and recommending the old Hall to all my friends and family. 10 out of 10 from me .

Food always nice but this year was next level, the chap who greeted customers was so patient and profession despite being full and so many people asking to accommodate without prior booking , (luckily we did), our waitress (Tracey) was lovely - first class very friendly and always attentive. well done all, you made a special day even more special for me and my family.

It was lovely! Really delightful attentive cheerful staff. Warm cosy environment. Fantastic food well seasoned - not extra salt or pepper required. Wine at perfect temperature. Efficient and helpful service. Absolutely loved it. Perfect lunch time date!

Amazing Christmassy atmosphere and very tasty food. Very busy too, the restaurant was fully booked we got a little table close to the door. Nice Christmas decorations. Staff helpful and friendly. A little more pricey than a average pub but well worthy it. Nice outside seats (but it was too freezing to seat outside).

Excellent service. The food was delicious. I required a gluten free menu which had plenty of choice including desert which is often missing from restaurant menus. The Hall itself is fully accessible for disabled customers.

I booked here for a meal for 7 for my autistic son's 16th Birthday. I explained on the booking form he was autistic and they accommodated us by providing a quiet area for us to eat as requested. The whole evening was a success. The food was amazing, the service too. We were checked on just a couple of times to ask about the food so they kept disturbance to a minimum to accommodate my 16 year old son. It's a beautiful pub restaurant to eat in. One of my daughters saw "a wisp of smoke" follow my eldest son as he got up to use the men's room and a quick Google told us the pub is reputed to be haunted, so there's more than just spirits at the bar! A well deserved five stars from all of us. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The room was lovely and clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious, well priced and great value. The staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed was so comfortable my wife slept for the full night for the first time in months. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Our first visit to The Old Hall and the occasion was catching up with old friends visiting the area. The restaurant was busy but a nice friendly buzz with a cosy atmosphere especially on a cold winters day. Our waitress who attended our table was pleasant and gave us a run down of specials and pies &soups of the day. The drinks promptly arrived at our table and orders were taken. We all went for a starter and main and I can happily say our choices of food were excellent. I especially enjoyed my steak &Ale pie in a traditional short crust pastry casing, with proper gravy. We all had a enjoyable lunch and will differently return in the near future. Well done the Old Hall.

We can't thank you enough for your excellent hospitality. We were travelling to the area to meet with our daughter who is currently in Keighley. The online booking process was easy and quickly confirmed. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly and in a good area - the area furthest away from the bar in the separate area. Our young female waitress was excellent. Really sorry I can't remember her name. We were served promptly and nothing was too much trouble. Many compliments to the chef as the Sunday Roast was excellent. So nice to be served at our seats instead of the usual luke warm carvery served elsewhere. My daughter received a complimentary glass of fizz as it was her birthday, which was a lovely surprise. Many thanks to you all for making our special day the best

We called in for the first time on the afternoon before Mother's Day where I had booked a table for the Sunday. We were welcomed by a member of staff as we opened the door and were shown where we would be sitting the following day with our dog. The hall is impressive and has huge open fireplaces. We expected to have only a choice of a Sunday roast the next day but were impressed when we were presented with the menu with the dishes that were on offer. We had the most delicious meals and desserts in a beautiful room next to one of the old fireplaces. Someone took our order who I later when asking was the manager. He and his team deserve praise for their efficiency, their friendliness and above all the quality of the food and presentation by their chef(s). The photo of the interior doesn't do it justice but was very busy at the time.

We were a party of 4 adults and two small children. We visited for Sunday lunch which was mostly very tasty! The roast potatoes were superb! And the yorkshire pudding was nice too, although a bit cold when our dinner arrived. The gravy could be better! The service was really excellent, cannot praise the staff enough, our particular server gave us a warm welcome and was hospitable and responsive throughout. It was really busy but we still felt well looked after and we will definitely visit again.

Ambience was lovely, and food was delicious. Our waitress, a lovely young lady with long blond hair, was delightful. The only error was that the mains were brought out before we’d finished our starters, but so easily rectified and very pleasantly, it was just an error, and much nicer than having to wait ages for food, which we didn’t, even though it was busy. Some things on the menu were not available, nothing we would have chosen, but could have disappointed some. We will be back!

Had a great visit, it was easy to book online, even last minute. Service was friendly and helpful. Slightly disappointed not to be able to get a decaf latte, but a minor point, and my husband was very happy with his pint of hobgoblin. Food was good, although in retrospect we would have ordered the kids food to come separately as we were a big group and it was a long wait for them.

We were shown immediately to our table in a cosy corner. The staff/ manager was very attentive as we ordered our drinks. The menu has changed since our last visit but it still had a good choice in terms of light bites and meat/ veggie. We enjoyed two courses but couldn’t manage a pud! Nice cappuccino though!

There is no parking for this. I was there at 6am so quickly pulled in a passing lay-by. The views are amazing. The tower itself is pitch black inside and full of animal fur and twigs. You'll need a torch. It's worth it.

Brilliant views for many a mile all around. Fantastic walk around the little country lanes and very quiet too. It's a great surprise that you can climb the winding staircase to enjoy views which are better still from the top!

Really lovely place with stunning views... I would highly recommend to visit, if you are in the area.. You can also climb the tower, which is great! Very narrow and dark, so make sure you have a torch or phone with you.

I parked in a lay-by on the road, where you can walk up the hill or continue on the road to reach Lund’s Tower. Just be careful as the two first sections I walked in didn’t have any sheep but when you walk through the gate at the top there are sheep in the top field. A notice is on the gate to let you know. Excellent walk and the views are incredible.

This is an utter delight of a shop, that has so much to feast your eyes on. The layout of the shop is cleverly arranged in such a way that you want to explore and see everything that there is hidden inside its doors, but doesn't feel cluttered or lacking space. The owner has a brilliant eye and has chosen a wonderful range of products from independent makers and price points to suit most pockets. I left very happy with my purchase and having been introduced to lots of makers I hadn't come across before, and will definitely be back soon. Thank you

Has a lot of neat art things in the store. We did purchase some things, and the shop keeper was friendly and accommodating.

I bought a (lovely!) small ceramic bird that was delivered quickly and wrapped with care - thank you for putting such thought into ensuring my order was transported safely.

You always get a friendly welcome in Hawksby's, I've bought lovely artwork and small items made by local crafts producers for years, everything is of a high quality and not sold everywhere (so you don't go into your neighbours and they have the exact pieces as you.)

Great shop with items from lots of different makers and artists. I always seem to leave with something I end up cherishing!

We try to shop local. Claire sells lots of lovely items. We would certainly recommend.

This place is amazing. I'm a collector myself and I travelled to Howarth mainly to visit this gallery and I was not disappointed.
