It nice to have a short stay over Zhan Qiao - so long if you are a natural lover .

It's just a pier into the sea from the Taiping Road promenade. The pagoda temple at the end of the pier is empty n locked up. Plenty of speed boat and water ski scooter rides offered. The place is pretty popular with local tourists and the Prince Hotel nearby is suppose to serve a good breakfasts for its guests as well as other dining options.

I've visited the place in Jan/Feb 2017. It's a low season here this time of the year, but there were a lot of people on the pier, especially during the day. I personally enjoyed it more in the evening, as you can enjoy the night view of the city coast.

Absolutely gorgeous. Very busy, lots of people, but I had a lucky day in terms of weather and it was absolutely worth it. If you come to Qingdao, visiting this place for a nice walk in the sun is absolutely mandatory.

A pier that was quite crowded but offered some good views of the Qingdao skyline. However there are better places such as May 4th Square that offer better views but with less tourists.

The whole setting reminds me of the Bund in Shanghai but of course Shanghai’s is better. But it’s worthwhile to take a walk here and feel the old German concession. However a lot of things look new again

A must visit place in Qingdoa.

Nice tour of the famous Tsingtao Brewery. This is "Factory #1", which apparently opened in 1903 by German immigrants. The tour takes you thru several buildings showing the original equipment and also the modern, automated parts. There is a nice museum store, a tasting room and lastly a pub serving various types of Tsingtao beer. Never knew they had their own IPA, Stout, Hefeweissen, etc. Note: if you are a foreigner, you will need a passport to purchase tickets!

Very large brewery with world famous beer 🍻. The museum shows the whole history from the start from over 111years ago until the present. You also see the process of crafting beer then and now, different historic labels and the actual factory 🏭 line with people working on making more than 18 billion bottles of beer a year. In the end you'll get free beer 🍺 and there's a gift shop of course.

Wonderful experience for beer lovers. Hereby sharing their ticket prices. I bought ticket E and it sure was a joy to taste 6 different flavors of Tsingtao beers.

Australian travellers - Outstanding brewery with so much history. We did the private tour with an English speaking guide & she was excellent! $50AUD each for private tour, beer paddle, bread from their own bakery, nuts, more beer & a personalised beer sticker with your photo is put on a bottle and presented in a cute box! Oh & more beer! Not just your average brewery tour. A highlight of our time in Qingdao!

Very educational. Could be better with more interactive activities especially dying high technology.different from over brewery museum is that they also provide raw / non filtered fresh beer for tasting. One thing to mention, during my visit in March 2018, there were some renovation/ maintenance going on.

I couldn't enter into the museum because of it was really crowded. The Chinese person said these days was the most crowded season owing to the beer festival and so I'm very sad. However, in front of the museum, there are so many outdoor restaurants to drink beer and to eat various foods.

Tsingtao beer factory is cool, they go through the whole history. If you come to this city this is one of the place that you need to visit. Price is not expensive.

It was a great experience to understand the Tsingtao Beer brewery history. The best beer of China must taste it in QingDao cos of the LaoShan water. It is amazing to watch how the beer is produced and packed in the brewery.

Although ticket is available at entrance, advance booking of ticket is adviced during peak season. There is the Drunken House at the souvenir shop which you can experience the drunk feeling. This is quite interesting. You can also tailor-made a Tsingtao beer with your picture on the label.

Tsingtao beer factory is cool, they go through the whole history. I took a guide for the tour, I was alone in the group but she was good to do all the tour for me. Her English was understandable and she was really nice with me, but she couldn’t really answer any questions outside the script. Worth paying a visit if you find yourself in the old town part of Qingdao, even if only to look at it from the outside. idk about nowadays, but 8 years ago the place was fine for a weekend. Better to go on weekdays or at least in weekend morning to avoid crowds. There is enormous amount of different kinds of sea animals, starting from jellyfish to huge belugas. The glass tonnel with seals is great, too. Of course, it's not the highest level of such place, but ticket prices are low.

Nice and clean 3 levels in the main building which is spacious for all the wild sea animals but the facility itself is a bit outdated. Lots shops along the road are closed even it is still around the end of summer. Shows are nice but the sound system isn’t that good, hard to hear sometimes.

If you look forward to same level as some Big ocean park like Osaka’s or Sydney , it is not gonna fulfill your demand. However , it worth to bring kids there to let them see many of sea lives.

Ok place, but during my trip to China the most obtrusive about ID checks, having to show it when buying tickets and then when entering the gates just 50m away. One of the more expensive attractions I visited and smaller than I imagined, plus some of the attractions were computer generated. Place is large, lots of different animals on display, and clearly very popular with families. Far too many animals in enclosures that are too small for them. About the only animals that seemed well cared for were the penguins. Overall quite a sad experience.

It's an okay museum . The full ticket costs 130 Yuan . The other ticket doesn't include the semi aquarium . The place is okay in general.

A lot of wooden models of animals in lieu of real animals, but the real jellyfish, turtles, and the sharks and stingrays in the underwater portion, they were all nice. It's ok. It's worth a visit if only for its beautiful location in a gorgeous park by the water with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. Purely as an aquarium it's the worst aquarium I've ever visited and would get two stars, but given it's location, I bumped it up a star. There are better things to do in the city, but if you're into this kind of thing or have kids with you, why not have a visit.

This isn't the best aquarium that I've visited but if you're in Qingdao. . . take a little while to stop on by and visit it. On very busy days you might feel like a minnow in the middle of huge school of fish. . . so I would try to go on a weekday.

Pretty lame, its just jellyfish and a couple poir captured sea turtles that dont fit in the space they are in. Its sad really. I would never come here or support this place. Pretty upset I even paid.

Long stretch of trees very good for instagram photos. Subway station is 5-8 minutes walk towards the east side of the park, main entrance is at the south. Free entrance. Internal cable car that points u to 3 different locations costing RMB120 return. Will return next year to catch the right moment.
