Beautiful Castle. From the outside it really is very impressive. The views from the towers are amazing. I felt an audio guide could have been a real asset as there isn’t that much information. I A really well preserved castle, considering the castle is over 700 years old. Beautiful old castle and ruins that gives you a good insight into that time period in history. Good views of Conwy, town centre and river. Big gift shop and a good place to find some nice souvenirs. It’s very good value and really worth a visit.

It's a breathtaking castle! The view from the top of its towers is stunning! We were very lucky that it was dry so we were able to have a pleasant time there. It's not a huge castle so 1.30h is more than enough for this visit. It has also a nice shop at the entrance if you wanna take a souvenir with you. It's a must!!

This is a beautiful castle. Please note that this venue is not for free. There are tickets that you can buy inside. There's a gift shop. Toilets are very clean and they're located downstairs. You get a map so you know exactly where you are. The castle itself is very historic with info around the building. You can go right to the top and see amazing views. Prams are allowed, but it would be difficult to get around as there's too many staircases. It's a great outing for kids and adults. I enjoyed being there, it was beautiful.

I love the castle and the village. I highly recommend visiting the castle. We spent a good 2-3hrs slowly taking our time to walk around reading all the history, and the views from the top of the towers are stunning! I recommend walking the tower walls that surround Conwy too. Our children really enjoyed the day. So much to offer and I can’t wait to return

Wonderful day out, in and around the castle. A walk around the walls, which surround the Castle bring you wonderful views, although the wall walk is not for those unsteady on their feet. The castle is great to walk around, and brings you great views from the Tower tops.

My husband and I went in December , so off prime tourist season. It was absolutely spectacular!! Highly recommended you visit this place if you can. The castle is breathtaking and in very good condition , and the town is so lovely as well. So much to see here and enjoy .

A surprisingly large, sprawling castle that integrates into Conwy town and harbour. Even the footbridge has been sympathetically joined on. Car park is a little small but the town is as well, so you can park in various places and walk to the castle, catching different parts of it on route. Around £11 for adults, you can spend a few hours strolling around, although there are a fair few steep and narrow round staircases to negotiate for the first and subsequent levels. There's not too much in the way of exhibits, the castle is open and bare, bar a few statues/sculptures. Well equipped gift shop and a café just outside.

Lovely castle, slightly underwhelming as there isn’t much to it aside from ruins and no audiotape. Lovely views all around. But you are Heavily reliant on your imagination, would be great if parts were rebuilt, or acrylic with illustrations were bought in or replica parts / furniture was there to bring it back to life. Tickets are not expensive, but there is nothing to watch except for panoramas.But the views are amazing! 🤩Going around everything inside will take about 1h-1.5h You can also optionally walk along the wall of the castle itself. Parking is small and very inconvenient for large cars🙈 Not allowed with pets 😏

If you're visiting Conwy, you can't miss the castle. The castle walls are accessible in some areas and offer great view points of the surrounding area. Parking is available a very short walk away, and there is a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and more available nearby.

Lovely place to go to whenever you're nearby. Went to Wales for a weekend and decided to see what it was like, we were not disappointed at all. Beautiful castle with beautiful views. Just be careful when going up the towers haha.

Majestic castle, definitely worth a visit. Plenty of area to explore with walks along the walls providing great views. There is a long section of wall that is free to walk on whilst entry into the main area is around £12. The castle itself is spectacular and provides an authentic feel. The guidance inside could be better as it easy to aimlessly wonder around and miss out on the key sections of the castle. Regardless, would recommend the castle for sure.

We parked in the car park for £6.50 for 4hrs, and paid by card. You have to enter your registration of your car so you can't share with others. We didn't go into the castle but my wife used the toilets. £11.50 per adult. We explored outside especially the Conwy bridge as you can see in the pictures. Walked over and back on the main bridge which runs alongside it. Strolled down through the little harbour side and back up into the main high street and explored all the shops before returning to the car. We were here for around 2hrs. Plenty of cafes. A very nice clean small town, well worth a visit.

Nice castle, enjoyed the walk through walls and amazing view from the tower. The beach side castle provides a beautiful view of Conwy. Well maintained castle and nice staff. There is plenty of parking in front or you can park in Morfa Bach parking and you can directly enter the castle. The parking machine accepts only coins or pay though online. UKs smallest house is in walking distance and the view from the castle from the beach is nice. There is a sightseeing boat ride available for visitors

An amazing day. Arrived at 11 and spent a few hours exploring the castle. Plenty to do, great for young children, lots to learn and really well priced! Conway it's self is a great place to visit. So much to do.

This castle is a spectacular sight in Conwy. Climbing to the top of the towers does involves navigating some steep and narrow stairs. Give the age of the castle this is to be expected. The views from the top are spectacularly beautiful. If height is your phobia then please don’t look down. This is a large site so depending on how much you are planning to see, you should budget for around 3.5 hours to see the best bits and snap of photos.. Finding the castle was easy and parking was plentiful. However, we arrived at 10:30 and by 13:00 the car park was full. I paid around £4.50 for six hours parking!! Whilst you are here consider paying a visit to Britain smaller house!! For a small fee of only £1.50 you are getting the chance to walk through the doors of this miniature living space.

We spent a good two and a half hours within Conwy Castle taking in the fantastic views from atop the towers. Meandering through this majestic castle is awe inspiring. This has to be one of the best castles I have ever visited. Well worth waiting 40 years before I had the chance to visit. The gift shop is also full of worthy, (and not so worthy), items to purchase. The castle is set in the enchanting medieval town of the same name and is full of interesting buildings and shops. Amazing and I cannot wait to return.

Fascinating place, really well preserved, and the views you get from the towers are stunning! The only piece of advice I'd give is you might want to avoid taking small children. We took our 2 youngest and it was a bit hairy watching them looking over edge of walls and coming down the spiral staircases of the towers 😬

One of the most beautiful place I have been to recently. I went there by end of day. I reached there by 4.15 and got in last. But I have explored most of all doors and all the towers. The best views from top of the towers and I suggest all to try get on to last tower near to the water. The view is amazing from there. I went to Conwy castle with my friends and we had really great time there. It has a calming view. There were paintings of the castles from 1600s and it shows the history of the place. I wanted to know further history of the castle and was not able to find in the flyer they provided with ticket. Visiting historical place and not able to learn the history from the sight is sad. But it was a awesome trip and worth the ticket money.

This Castle is one of the best Medieval castles we have ever visited and steeped with history . If your into Edward the 1st , this is the one to visit . Very atmospheric indeed . Very good guide book can be purchased. Good information boards in most areas too . Great for kids education . Highly recommended 👌

Beautiful Castle on Outside and a lovely walk around the castle and town on the top of the surrounding castle walls are all free and have great views. Inside of the castle is very basic and the standard ruins but not a great deal of info and things to read and gain knowledge about the actual castle inside. But nice views of the bridges from inside the castle and also the town and surrounding bay area.

Went Yesterday, was an amazing experience getting to see the castle and all the rooms that were still intact. The Chapel area is beautiful, with lovely stain glass windows. I would recommend anyone with a love of Castles, visits here. You will have a great time.

Lovely castle, loads to see there, went on a quite a rainy day, so didn't stay outside too long, but plenty to see inside. I'd say you will spend a good hour here. I would have liked more information around the castle of its past, felt like it was limited. Would give 4 and a half stars for that reason.

Absolutely loved my visit here with my bf, we loved walking round the ruins and climbing the towers to the top. The views and scenery from the top were fantastic and we'll definitely be coming back for a longer exploration in the future. It was also free entry on St David's day.

It was a very windy day, but the people who worked there were very lovely. The castle was a great experience to walk around. Plenty of bits of information to learn about, different parts of the castle. It was a great day out for the family.

Amazing castle! Was thinking at first "is this expensive?" But once you are exploring the grounds and going all the way to the top for the amazing views its such a bargain. Some of the heights can be scary if your not great with heights. We had a great time and was there for quite a while as the castle is massive!

Conway Castle was stunning to say the least. If you are anywhere near Conway this is going to be a must see. It's very walkable and you can get into all of the towers, which provide a stunning view of the town and waterfront. Nearby is Britain's tiniest house and lovely restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend.

CADW owned castle Beautiful grounds and well maintained ruins. High up at some points in the towers with steep steps so good footwear recommended! Windy as on the coast so wrap up warm Plenty of parking, driving through the town walls is lovely but tight so take your time 10/10!

The walk offers excellent views of the city of Conwy and is a fantastic way to see the surrounding scenery. Even better, it’s free! We were able to access the main section of the wall from near the train platform, but your best bet would be down by the Smallest House.

Awesome town walls, on par with York walls (a little shorter maybe) Great views from all around, lots of hidden ways up and down, the main one for the main part is near the world's smallest house near the harbour. Quite steep in parts, but we'll worth the walk! Would definitely recommend!

Conwy is a lovely town with the Castle and the walls. You can walk the walks with ease and also part of the bridge can be accessed for free. Plenty of little cafes to have a bite to eat and drink… and several fish and chips to boot. A must visit for all visitors!

Excellent walk around Conwy town, it's a little difficult to find the start and end point but the lovely locals and tourists who have just come down can point you in the right direction. The views and the history are so worth the trek

It was about 1.5 miles to walk the walls according to my Fitbit. Great walk. You come off the walls at a few points, then rejoin. Quite rocky paths so some people may struggle with the walk but I enjoyed it! Free to walk the walls.

Smallest house in Great Britain, small amount entry fee can pay onsite, closing time is 4.30 but you can still see from outside. Two floors and you upper floor which a bedroom you can only see it can't enter. Well maintained place, audio describing its history is played inside. Nice fish chips nearby. Neatby Car park is limited and the way to it is very small but good point is its free.

if you are in the area its definitely worth a look, not waiting long to get in and the lady answers any questions you have she's lovely, brilliant price at £1.50 per adult £1 per child.. very interesting with some audio playing inside about the property.

The house can be seen from a large distance too when you are on bridge etc. I took ticket of 1.5gbp and saw the house from inside too. It was difficult to imagine how a 6'3" tall person lived with his family in such a small place. There was a wooden stair through which I could climb up and see the loft where the bedroom was there with single bed. As I purchased ticket, the person at the desk offered me to take my photo with it.

What a quaint little place, being lovingly kept and maintained. A quirky gem preserving a slither of local history. You can’t book in advance. We queued for 10-15mins. It takes about 5-10mins to look around, and listen to the audio being played inside

Very small and such a squeeze. It was cool learning about the history before entering, by the lady who worked there. It wasn't expensive entering something like £1.50 for adults & £1 for kids. It's cool to know it's for the up keep of the building. Beautiful inside. It's worth having a look inside.

An interesting attraction if you have 15 minutes to spare and the queue is not too long. Built in the 16th century and lived in until the early 20th, it really is tiny, with just two small rooms which, incredibly, housed a family of 6 at one time. The entrance fee is modest, so I'd recommend stopping by.

The prices are quite high for such a small amount of time inside such a small space. The inside was pretty disappointing, and wasn’t worth taking any pictures of. You have to crouch to walk about in the house. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you’re desperate to do so. Nearby parking is free, which is good.

Interesting place to see if you're passing by. I only saw it from the outside as otherwise I would have had to wait at least half an hour to enter (there was a queue of over 10 small groups waiting). Nice area as well with seafood shops, the sea and the castle all in the same area

It was closed when we visited but this tiny house is truly unique. Squeezed between the town wall turret and another house, this little place is slightly deeper than myself laying down on the pavement next to the house. Wow, this truly is a tiny house. Amazing that someone of 6'3" lived in it for 3 yrs and at one point a couple. Really worth a visit if you're in/near Conwy. Dorothy or one of the other Ladies, dressed in Welsh costume will tell you all about it. Pay a pound to go inside & help preserve this tiny house.

Great visit to the smallest house. The ladies on the door were so lovely .They took their time to chat to my children, including my non verbal youngest who they were really lovely with. Everyone found it interesting and enjoyed the information inside. Didn't wait too long to get inside :)

This is a little gem in Conwy often missed. Its an excellent Elizabethan house. You are actually allowed to take photos, you can have audio to go round or a readable version whichever you prefer. The staff are great, very friendly, don't pass this by its too good to miss and very reasonable prices.

A fantastic surprise. We didn't expect the details of the rooms. The decorations were well explained and the audio tour was so helpful. The 16th century health mini exhibition is creepy but interesting.

A bit of a hidden gem, as I hadn't seen much advertising for it. An interesting house, much bigger than you'd expect from the outside, and with plenty of interesting history and design works. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic experience. Accompanied with a complimentary audio guide included in the price of admission you can really immerse yourself in the history of this old iconic building. Lots to explore and lots to learn. Be mindful of the low doors and trip hazards but they are well signed and you'll learn fast. Tricky stares but worth the climb. Nice gift shop and all very helpful and friendly. Concessions for veterans and seniors. Brilliant afternoon spent in the past. ☆☆☆☆☆

A fantastic rainy day option - we easily spent an hour in here. The volunteer guides are incredibly knowledgeable about the house's fascinating history.

I can't recommend this gem of a place more. Excellent audio guide throughout the house making it an immersive experience. Fantastic, sheltered space if it's raining. The level of historical detail setting up the rooms was outstanding. Well done! Plus the dress ups were fun too.

Wonderfully restored and maintained 'middle class' house in Conwy, North Wales. It is an Elizabethan townhouse dating from the 16th century. The property was built by Robert Wynn, a member of the local gentry, following his marriage to his first wife, Dorothy Griffith. It a massive property extended by the family. We love being members National Trust for Scotland so to get free access via their reciprocal agreement was great. It has free tour handsets or info sheets explaining each room. Conwy with it's lovely castle ruin, shops and water front makes for a lovely family day out. 😎👍

Absolutely amazing place. So good to finally visit. They give you a really useful audio guide. So much fascinating information. Stunning building. I liked the extra information display too. All the stuff about medicine.

This place is a bit hidden away in the streets of conwy. Decent enough place to explore took about an hour and a half. Some very bold information boards on things like how they delt with certain illnesses in them days and what happened with the sewage. Some nice volunteers about too had a nice chat with one. Even got to try on some of the tudor clothes which the kids thought was hillarious.

I had a nice time looking around Plas Mawr. I had to wait a bit to get in as another group had got there before me. However, all of the staff were very friendly and once I was there they let me see the building. One of the volunteers in the kitchen seemed very knowledgeable and happy to share her knowledge of the building. I enjoyed talking to her but another volunteer in the room upstairs sat there reading a book and didn’t talk to me. The house was quite big with lots to see. There were some plaques with information about the history. I found the exhibition about sanitation and the herb garden the most interesting of these. It was quite tiring walking around the house as there were a lot of steps. Most of the rooms were decorated and open for public viewing but not all of them. It would have been nice to have had a cafe or something on site so that people can take a break as it is quite a lot to take in in one go. I did have a nice visit but I left thinking that maybe I could have spent some more time in there.

Very exciting find in middle of Conwy, a lot to look at , choice of audio tour or old fashioned map to take yourself round with. We chose the map as we wanted to wander and share the experience as a group, sharing what we saw or read in the rooms with each other. And there were plenty of friendly volunteer tour guides in the rooms ,with lots of interesting information and very good knowledge when we had questions. Also great at pointing us in the right directions to make sure we didn't miss anything. It is an incredible house that has been beautifully restored to how it originally was, we wandered thro the rooms decorated and set up as near to original as could be and the walls and ceilings have been repaired or restored. Brilliant time here very reasonable entrance cost, that was discounted as we had already on same day, been to Conwy Castle and if you show receipt from there you get a discount on entry here.

Great must visit when your in Conwy. Its nice to see this late Medieval townhouse. There is also a good view of the castle from the towers. The house is sprawling and you can take over an hour reading everything there. The exhibit about astrology was the most interesting part. There is an option of using an audio guide or paper map. We choice a paper map. The staff are very friendly.

An amazingly well preserved Elizabethan house, a definite must visit if in the area. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Spent about an hour here which was enough to explore.

Fantastic gem in the High Street in Conwy. Beautiful period furnishings and decoration. Lots of interactive installations showing the history of the building. Great for awetter day activity.

A really interesting historic building in Conwy, which gives a great sense of how people lived in the years since it was built. The audio tour is fabulous. A mobile phone sized gadget can be pointed at a trigger point in each room, and then voice actors tell you about life as it related to that room. There are also really helpful and informative staff on hand to tell you about the things you are looking at and how people lived in those rooms. A brilliantly done experience.

Beautiful views of the almost 800 year old Conwy castle. Home of the smallest house in great Britain. The council are making use of a space on the quay to host events , such as the shop for something different marquee and fair ground rides.

The seaside is just opposite conwy castle. Calm and quiet seaside. The beauty of boat, seaside, blue sky, and calm water.

Lovely quiet place. If you are visiting Llandudno then drive 5 more minutes to see it .

The "beach" is minimal but there's plenty of little crab fishing for the little ones. You get good views, a boat tour also departs from there. Generally speaking it's very basic with little to actually do.

Conwy Quay used to be listed on Google Maps but for some reason the old listing, complete with loads of reviews and photos has mysteriously disappeared? It's a great place to while away a couple of hours especially on a hot day. Get a drink from the Liverpool Arms, ice cream from Parisella's, maybe some fish & chips from one of the nearby chippys (but watch out for the flying rats), visit the Smallest House in Great Britain or perhaps try a bit of crabbing. My only quibble is that it's supposed to be traffic free during the daytime but too many people ignore the no traffic rule which can spoil the vibe for visitors. Maybe some sort of traffic prevention barrier would tip it up to 5 stars.

The history and architecture behind this is just amazing and of how it connects to the castle.

No information available, it was just a normal suspension bridge. You didn't know if it was open or not until you wandered down the street to see the random open gate. It just looks like a normal bridge... I am well aware it is a feat of engineering which is great... but I'd definitely benefit from atleast an information board to let me know more about it.

Telford suspension bridge. Still free to cross. Peaceful besides the resident birds. But a delight. Hidden gem

This had always been my target of interest for our stay in Conwy, which was a part of a minibus tour for the day. Thankfully our drop-off point was close (by the tourist information centre) and I had plenty time to see the bridge. It didn't matter that, apart from the bridge, I only had time to see the path between it and the drop-off point. It worked out very well for me.

This bridge is a testament both to Thomas Telford's engineering and design skills - it's architecture blends perfectly with the castle, so as you walk across the two fit together. The preserved toll charges on the old toll house are an interest in themselves - 6d for a score of cattle and 1d for a foot passenger.

The bridge was awesome.. So beautiful. Never saw a suspension bridge connected to a castle earlier. Near the beach, there is a path to go and walk on this bridge. It's photogenic and lovely. With Castle on one side and sea beneath you. Highly recommend to go on it. It will take max 15-20min to go, enjoy the view and come back.

Fantastic victorian suspension bridge can walk across for free. Of course, the best views are from the castle.

Great time out with my family, best to get there early as gets busy, lots of steps to top of castle but most have handrail. Parking is by phone app or Internet only. Staff are friendly and a little coffee shop in carpark.

Great little place to visit if you're already in Conwy. There's not a huge amount to see so I wouldn't make a special trip, but the house is very characterful and the staff we met were amazing.

A medieval town house steeped in history and full of atmosphere. The rooms are dark and the wooden floors are visibly sloping on the timber-framed upper storey. You need to be aware of low wooden beams and raised thresholds. Each room has furniture and artefacts from a different period of history. I found the kitchen with its curious hanging bread crate particularly fascinating. The guides were welcoming, enthusiastic and a mine of information and the printed info gave me an insight into the lives of the people who lived here in past centuries. The ground floor shop has some beautiful gifts/souvenirs and good books. Well worth a visit!

This is a very interesting historic building with lots of potential for visitors. The room guide on the middle floor was charming and provided some good insights into the history. Her efforts were the real highlight, though, in a National Trust site that feels a bit neglected and could do a lot more with a bit more resource. There is very little information within the historic rooms, so there's little to keep you here, and no audio guide. Conpared with Plas Mawr (a bigger building, granted, but also shown off to its full potential), this seems a bit under-resourced. Some investment in research into the property, an audio guide and more coherent way of showing the rooms could make this really special. There's a really good shop in the basement which seemed the most popular area on our visit!

Pretty interesting old house. It is very small but a no brainer if you’re a member of the national trust which we are. I can’t comment on the value of you have to pay. They had an activity for the kids and there were volunteers in almost every room ready to tell you about the place.

Fabulous and small National Trust property, well worth the visit. Remember to pop and see the toll house too, a family of 6 once lived in the tiny miniature castle right by the suspension bridge.

Small place so it is over quickly, but very helpful guides with lots of interesting facts about the house and the town too. Creaky and wonky, really old with a great story. Great to pass through!

Stars for the souvenirs and being open on time. Rude lady at the till though... I'm so baffled why someone with that attitude would want to work in an industry where you are likely to be approached by tourists of all kinds, likely to be asking the same question for the nth time in a day... way to feel welcome in Wales.

If you forget your face mask and ask for one, they will provide you with a disposable one and charge you 50p for the pleasure. Considering local businesses have received funding from the Welsh government (tax-payers money) to stay afloat, and also to provide a safe retail environment for customers, I'm almost lost for words.

Standard gift shop with exactly the sort things you'd expect to see. Again, lovely staff, don't expect to be blown away by the choice.

Disappointed that given they need tourism to survive they stock this, see number 6. Not the brightest thing to sell in a place frequented by English tourists.

Lovely shop with some great mechandise. However, at the moment there is only one way to get onto the wall and it's not straight forward. The lady serving (thin with glasses) was very un helpful and her answer to a question she was asked lots while I was there was...' out the shop, do a left, next road'. In fact if you went down said road, you couldn't get on wall but there's a secret path halfway down road which leads you behind some flats/car park (not signposted) - we walked 'back and forth 'wasting the day which could have been eliminated with proper directions. We wasn't the only ones struggling to find start of the wall, I spoke to 3 families and explained where to go. Please speak to lady and explain she needs to be more amenable when people ask for help and be little more detailed.

Made a special stop to pick up a couple of things before we left Conwy. Opening time is 9:30am but not a soul in site, no lights even turned on. Very disappointed. Tried to call to see if anybody perhaps in the back but no answer. Waited 20min and still nobody turned up. What's the point of having opening and closing times when it's just up to when the staff feel like showing up?

No end of Welsh products, toys, stationary, clothing and nik naks. A huge range, which sadly have an inflated price tag. Lovely staff who are helpful though.

Fantastic place to walk and my dog loves it here. We avoid the sheep and horses by walking through some woods at the side looking towards conwy. So quiet and peaceful and the views are breathtaking.

Amazing views, absolutely gorgeous scenery. A fairly easy walk up from Mountain Road, the higher and further you go the better the views. There are wild ponies on the mountain as well. Highly recommended if you are in Conwy

The multi-lingual Welsh-speaking lady working here yesterday (Wednesday) who had come from a different branch was so very helpful. Not only did she help me find the bookshop in Conwy I wanted, for example, but she also really made my day by letting me speak to her in my basic Welsh for a short while (as the TIC was quiet at the time). She was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. My short stay in Wales was really good, thanks to this lady and a couple of other people who were so thoughtful and kind. Later in the day I bought a small item from the TIC, as I was so grateful for her help. The TIC was very busy then and I noticed that she dealt with people's queries and comments in a very professional, empathetic way. Oh, and I also want to thank Tom who was exceptionally helpful answering my email enquiry before my visit to the area.

Tourist trap for people needing the toilet. Charges 30p (which is steep but fair enough) but doesn't take card/contactless payment and the machine also doesn't give out change so if you don't have exact change you're going to overpay, and if you don't have any change there's no way to use the toilet. Guy in the shop also couldn't change a note because the shop is now card only.

The attendant is very kind and warm hearted, however the WC needs 30 p to get into. Even there is no exchange machine, and can't use a card.

Exhibition about the Princes of Gwynedd was fantastic; places all your bits of history all in context and tells the story of how Gwynedd and the whole of Wales ultimately was conquered, occupied, and subverted by Edward and his armies. The eulogies and odes to the loss of Llywelin, the last true prince of Wales are so beautiful and so crafted and all convey the real sense of loss felt at the time and through time too. Poetry at it's most effective and inspiring. The following walk around the walls of the castle and the rest of Conwy was beautiful on a bright an sunny March day. A real gem of a day out.

Very beautiful place to have picnic in nature. Clear sky, beautiful sea surrounded by breathtaking mountains. No entrance fees and no services here (no toilets no rescue services just on case something happen) Parking is so limited here.

Like our own private paradise - an almost deserted sandy beach. High sand dunes behind and the sea in front. Almost no litter which is becoming a rarity. Also dog friendly with none of those restrictions about dogs allowed only after the 31st October or only in some restricted weed ridden area around a jetty or boat moorings where the engine oil is mixed with sand so we all end up with black feet. Overall a nice place to visit except on extremely windy days because the sand is so fine you get the stuff blown in mini-tournedos straight into eyes, nose and teeth - and that is the poor old 🐶 Oh and not to be forgotten - free carparking!

Great beach, plenty of room. Car park isn't that big, but you could always park either near the golf club or more in Conwy and walk round.

Beautiful beach, at low tide there is beautiful sand, best to take your shoes and socks off as you can sink down up to your ankles! Larger rocks and pebbles at the top part of the beach. Lovely long stretch of sand that goes for ages! Dog friendly all year round. Small car park which gets busy in nice weather. Would definitely go back.

Depends what you what from a beach. It was quiet and seemed popular for dog walkers. Easy 40 minutes walk from Conwy. Free car park no toilets or refreshments. But beautiful view of the Great Orme and Anglesey. Shingle bank with sand. Good for peace and quiet and contemplating my next stop which was fish and chips in Conwy.😋😋.

Small car park so very busy in the summer. However when the tide is out vast sandy beach is exposed. Location is second to none and for dog owners the area us excellent

Been coming to Conwy since I was a kid, I'm now 60 and a bigger kid. Never been to the beach here before (shame on me) as it is quite spectacular and we had a great walk from the centre of Conwy to the car park and then back to the Marina along the very, very quiet beach. The dog friendly beach was really clean and the views were spectacular so by the time we got to the Marina we were gasping with thurst as it had become a very hot afternoon after rain was forecast but didn't materialise. We had a drink in the really pleasant Robinsons pub there..the name eludes me, then continued back to town. A walk well worth doing.

Lovely beach,nice and clean,some big pebbles as you first come down onto the sand but once you're down it's clean sand. Was a struggle to get our elderly mother inlaw down so we setup chairs on the side in the pebbled area. The only down side is people letting their dogs off to free roam but overall a afternoon out for the family.

Good beach and views. But as I was feeding my little kids. Unfortunately I leaned back and put my hand in a dog mess, also certain pathways reek of the stuff. If irresponsible owners don't learn to clean up after their dogs they should ban them all season

Worth going to understand the history of the church, could t believe it was built before the castle.

Spent an enjoyable and informative hour here whilst on holiday. Enticed in by their butterfly initiative - visitors make an origami butterfly, write on a spiritual message and the butterflies are used to decorate the church. Surprised by the number of people who responded (was a cool refuge on a very hot day). Well worth a visit, interesting history, beautiful windows. The words on one grave provoked contemplation... he had 45 children!! Didn't make mention of the number of wives.

Attended At St Mary's for this year's remembrance service. The church is beautiful with a history back to the 12th century, on the site of an older monastery. Located in the fee fantastic walled town of Conwy. It was a very well attended service.

I attended a lovely Christmas day service here. Everybody was made very welcome and, even though I was a visitor, I felt included in the service. It is a beautiful church offering worshippers a spiritual home from home.

It was lovely, they had a pianist, violinist & cello playing, so it really added to a wonderful experience. We shall be back with our treasured friend Andrea Butler, THKU so much xxx

The Church of St Mary's & All Saints is the parish church of Conwy, Wales in the United Kingdom. It was originally the Cistercian Aberconwy Abbey, but in 1283 King Edward I of England moved the Abbey to Maenan. The parish registers date back to 1541. The foundations of the church date back to 1172, and the Aberconwy Abbey was completed in 1186. Since then the church has grown and changed. The East and West-end buttresses and parts of the walls, particularly on the North side, are original. In the 14th Century, the church received the lower portion of its tower, the South transept, and the North and South porches. A room north of the tower was enclosed to serve as a charnel house. The 15th Century saw the completion of the tower, and the installation of the rood screen and the early Tudor period baptismal font. In the 16th Century the roofs over the aisles were raised. Next to the altar at the south end is the tomb of Robert Wynne, a major benefactor of St Mary's, and the builder of Plas Mawr on Conwy's High Street. The chancel floor was raised at a later date, and in 1872 the roof of the nave was raised. At some point the South window of the transept was reconstructed and the clerestory windows were reset to where they now remain. Also in the 19th Century, Lord Penrhyn donated the tower clock. In 1921 the church received a memorial chapel on the church's north side, and five years later the vestry was enlarged. In 1949 the former charnel house became the Parish Room. The church holds a number of objects of interest dating back to medieval times, and two windows in the nave's south aisle made by the workshop of the Pre-raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones.

I like the contacless donation card machine in the window. We donated as we passed by. All the RNLI volunteers do a fantastic job.

A gorgeous little gallery, we always pop in when we're in Conwy. The exhibitions change really regularly, so there's always something new, and their open is great. The shop is cute, with art supplies, cards and gifts on sale.

I last visited the Royal Cambrian Academy a couple of years ago. I was delighted to find on this visit that the shop and reception area had been given a make over. Very professional looking. The three exhibitions that were showing contrasted, celebrated local art and were very interesting. I bought two pieces which I am very pleased with. Staff were friendly and professional. Whilst I was there I could see a class of young children undergoing some form of education in a side gallery, which is great to see. All in all a really pleasant and thought provoking visit. Will visit again when in the area.

Excellent extensive display of high quality artworks, mainly paintings plus some sculpture plus a very nice shop with prints cards and crafts.

I'm biased, being a member - but this gallery really is one of Conwy's best kept secrets. If you are interested in contemporary Welsh art, do visit. There's always a lively exhibition in the interesting building (with a stunning view over Conwy's roof-tops from the landing). There's a warm welcome from friendly staff and a nice gift shop.

What a fantastic place, slightly hidden off the main street in Conwy. The gallery space is beautiful, with all works on show available to purchase with a payment plan. There is a small gift shop too and lots of events and classes available. Accessibility is good, with a lift available.

Visited the Academy today to view the current Keith Gardner exhibition. Keith has been a member of the Academy for many years and I have known him for 63 years. Many splendid paintings of the North Wales coast. I would certainly recommend a visit to this excellent gallery to view his work. I still have a portrait he painted of me 62 years ago.

Absolutely loved it. Went with a friend on the Brewery Tour - Dave was our tour guide who was absolutely fantastic. Really great experience, lovely pub, friendly staff. just top notch. and most importantly, great beer ! will definitely recommend. great location, easy parking etc. thank you again.

Another visit to the brewery after a long wait. An it was exceptional, their beer is still as excellent as it was when i last visited in2019. They've had a bit of refurb an made the bar bigger. But still love their beers. Had a pint of El Camino an Rampart 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌

Absolutely brilliant visit here this afternoon with a group of friends. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Interesting and informative tour with James. Really great range of beers to sample afterwards. Well worth the trip.

Taughting a rich brewing history as one of the first proper breweries in North Wales, Conwy Brewery stands up to the test of time. Their staff are well-informed beer and people enthusiasts. The venue holds the brewery where the magic happens as well as a very decent taproom space for socialising and watching the match. The beer: Great range of quality beers that scream 'beer happy beer drinker'. Go for the San Francisco if you're into modern IPA's; sample the Rapart if your into more sweet and matly sophistication.

Nice atmosphere and all the amenities you’d want, would be a cracking start to a night out I can imagine, good prices too and friendly.

Firstly the challenge is to find the Brewery (Mash micropub)(Look at website for opening times) perched on the top of 'heart attack' hill. However the walk is well worth it to be met by friendly staff and a very impressive and great range of cask & keg ales. The bar is fully stocked to cater for all tastes and not just beer drinkers! Lashed together outdoor tables add to the ambiance!! Amazing views well recommended I hope to be back soon!

I'm a fan of little local breweries so may be a bit biased, but I loved Conwy Brewery. You'd barely know it was there, but there's an excellent selection of beers on tap, a large indoor seating area (that hosts bands at the weekend) and food trucks in the car park. Friendly and welcoming, plus you can obviously buy beers to take away too. Also, dog friendly if you have a pooch.

We visited simply for a browse of the stock and ended up wanting to buy numerous items in the shop. We met Drew when we visited too which was a bonus. There where a number of items that I wanted to buy on the day but due to lack of expendable funds at the time the head had to rule the heart. If you are after some beautiful antique pieces then you simply have to visit.

Please don't book an appointment with this man. Has an attitude if you buy small items and you have to book a slot! Way over his head with cheap 'daytime TV' celebrity status! Don't waste your time. Just go to Old Auction Rooms in Llandudno, where we were more welcome to browse.

Cute enough little junk shop .. owner was a funny little man .. someone said he had been on tv .. but not sure that explains his odd attitude … anyway I’m sure one day he’ll find some success

What a delightful shop set in the high street , full of character and charm , 2 storeys high , enjoyed a nice browse round , also recognised few of items from his tv show whi6 was nice , some of priced items not too expensive too and you can buy for £38 his trademark hat

Very disappointed that it is by appointment only. Even speaking to a guy at the shop, he said that I had to book it online. He was at the door and still I have to "book online". Surely he could write it in a diary for me. Oh no, its not possible. Really!! 😞 I went there when they opened. Bought stuff. Not anymore. Pity. Has Drew got too good for the mere mortals who prefer to shop in a shop and not online.

Great to buy from when you spend a lot but don't even reply when you return to sell some of the same items. One way traffic. I've had a few dealers look at the items I bought and they were balled by the prices. If you're buying make sure you plan to keep forever because you probably will, unless you want 10% back. Im actually shocked at the lack of morals. I run a business myself, reputation is everything. I purchased believing I was in somewhat safe hands, I was a fool trusting. Enjoy the TV show for what it is, the retail side is a complete rip off

Jumped up little barrow boy had his rotten teeth done and now he's too good to even reply to people..don't bother contacting this 'TV personality' he's not an Antiques Dealer anymore...there are thousands of real dealers that know much more, will have the decency to reply to you and (unlike Drew) not rip you off for you Antiques.

My mum & dad just love there show! So I had to take a few pics just pitty it was closed but def will come again see wot bargains I can pick up 😊😊

Drew's shop is full of eye catching antiques that get you excited about the origin an wonderful life each piece has led. Visiting the shop was a real experience for me as I'd watched the buying of some of them unfold on T.V. Conwy itself is an ideal location for the shop with such great heritage all around. I very much enjoyed my trip here even bought a small souvenir to take home. Lots more to be had for the more extravagant buyer, however, my budget didn't quite stretch that far. Although it is nice there is something for everyone. All in all a brilliant trip here, its inspired me even more to pursue my own little passion for buying and selling maybe one day I'll have my own shop but for now I'll leave it to the experts.

Big fake all, no products only an tv fake production with others behind the control and with the best knowledge, products are sold from, sellers in the tv series many times, so keep away..

Massive fan of the show, drove down today just to see the shop and was not let down. Met the guy who was repairing the Eagle sculpture and was really nice to have a chat. Great show, high fan. Thanks for the friendly welcome.

Really enjoyed the visit to the shop, we booked it in advance as we had planned a trip to Snowdonia and Anglesey so took the opportunity to see Conwy as well. As someone who regularly watches Salvage Hunters I was looking forward to the appointment and have to say wasn't disappointed as David was very hospitable, he recommended we visited Nefyn Bay in the afternoon which we did and truly loved. The shop looked great and we took our time to browse around, I ended up buying quite an interesting piece which will go in my man cave once completed.
