Managed to watch on someone's phone as they held it up to record it. Didn't have time to go inside just 20 minutes or so to look around the square, see the beautiful views, buy an ice cream and a souvenir.

The palace was closed when we visited but we enjoyed walking through the village (monaco city) and viewing the monuments and attractions. The views from all sides of the hill are spectacular.

Beautiful mansion with gates dating to XIII CE, and a souvenir shop at the top. There's a display of old canons and a gandarmier walking in front of the Palace - nice view. And the scenery of the city from this point is very picteresque and simply amazing.

Situated on top, which gives a panoramic breathtaking view of the port and a recommended spot for instagramable shots. Just a few steps around, you will find souvenir shops and a variety of restaurants. A great experience to visit.

This place is a short walk from Monaco train station, and when reaching the top, you will get a panoramic view of the city below, great for pictures. However, beside of that, there is little to do on the Prince Palace of Monaco, and when I got on the top, it was so windy so remember to bring scarfs or warm clothes there

I didn't know about this castle until I got here and did the Formula 1 tour. Saw this perched on the top of the mountain, we climbed the stairs and got the to the top. Amazing view of the city and surrounding area. You can do take a tour here and there are tons of shops/restaurants at the top. If I had more time I would have went inside, lots of things to do around here, nice view point.

Amazing architecture and a good example of a Roman-Bizantine church. The inside part is a must go. Everything is delicate and beautiful. Some members of the Royal Family were buried there. I recommend the visit.

Inside there were a lot of artwork, made in different centuries it seemed, but I could not tell because I don’t understand Latin. The clerestory windows were also beautiful.

This beautiful cathedral was built between 1875 and 1903 on the site where there was the first parish church of Monaco, dedicated to Saint Nicholas. Here are buried some members of the Grimaldi family, including Rainier III and Grace Kelly. The place can be visited for free.

Went to 10:30 AM Mass in French. Saw Grace Kelly's grave in the church. The Monte Carlo streets and sidewalks were spotless. Have your passports with you so you can get them stamped at the city hall.

The architecture here is quite good, and what's even better are the fantastic viewpoints nearby.

Went for a coffee with some viennoiseries which were good. We sat outside to enjoy the view and the weather, which is much more enjoyable now that the cars don’t pass right in front of you anymore. The downside was the service, a bit more friendliness and smiles wouldn’t hurt for a place (and prices) like this!

For me this was the best plan ever in Monaco, there is plenty of people taking picture of the cars right next to the Casino, in this place you can be in the Kaos (crowd) but outside the Kaos (crowd), seeing all the cars pass by and you can get an amazing craft beer and a selections of small delicious cakes for aprox 13 euros each, sit down here like 3 hours and it was 100% worth it!

We ended up getting up and leaving. We waited 25 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us. Once she told us she would be with us in a moment, she took 2 other table's orders, disappeared, and then came back and proceeded to clear tables.

Worth the visit, iconic as expected, definitely worth booking the terrace to make the most of the setting. Food was ok, not extraordinary but as expected - good and traditional.

If you haven't been here it is a must-have place to visit, but my experience with this place has quite mixed feelings. We (6 of us) as tourists were there for a quick visit in the early afternoon to drink some coffee and eat crêpes suzette. The covid checking was surprisingly fast and the lady who was in charge of it was really helpful and kind. On the other hand, the waiter wasn't that kindful. He did his job properly but didn't make the impression that we are welcomed as much as the local people. We took our place outside which was pleasing due to the sun and the outer part of this place was pretty fine. Nothing extra special but definitely pleasurable. The crêpes suzette was pretty good, but a bit pricy for its size but due to the fact that this place is located in one of the most famous areas in the city, we were expecting something like this. On the other hand, the latte macchiato that I have ordered was a bit disappointing. I was expecting some delicious coffee with some kind (or basic) latte art, but they served it in plain glass with a plastic straw. The straw bothered me not just because it was made of plastic (which is not quite a thoughtful and responsible decision) but due to the fact that the coffee was pretty hot and the plastic is not that kind of material which can be stored in such an environment, the straw was "melted" (deformed) after a couple of minutes. I drink coffee daily. Usually, I make them for myself, only a few times I go to some coffee bars to drink some more proper, but this coffee here was not just as usual as the one that I do for myself in my dizzy mornings but maybe a bit worse. Or wasn't worse, but I was expecting much more of a taste experience. Also, based on my experience, we can get simple latte art in most of the places that are much-much less famous. Knowing that having a proper and nicely prepared coffee is not a big expectation made me a bit disappointed. In the end, before our leave, we went to the toilet. On our way there we were able to check the inner part of the place which was more than astonishing. It was simply amazing. The decorations, the feeling, and a lot of light (where a decent amount come from natural sources) made the inner section way more quality than the outer section even if that one is also very nice. Sadly the toilet also gave us some bitter pills. The overall quality was amazing because everything was made of nice and shiny stuff and everything was undeniably clean which is perfect for a place like this. On the other hand, the faucet was really complicated to use because the sensitivity of the motion sensor that triggers the faucet to give water was really low, which made the handwashing a real struggle. Not to mention that only one of the three existing faucets was working but there was no warning sign or anything to make us not try on the wrong place. My overall experience regarding this place was a simple 'OK' and I think I am not a picky person, but if one is having much higher expectations for such a place like this is understandable. I don't tell that I won't come back, not just because making decisions on one experience is a foolish thing but they have a lot more to discover but sadly my first encounter with this place was not as good as one would expect.

This garden is absolutely beautiful and highly fragrant. We visited in mid-April, and many of the roses (and other flowers) were in bloom or budding. The walking paths are serene and well tended (a team of people were out every morning to wash the pavement and care for the flowers). Public toilets were adjacent to the garden (free of charge and very clean).

Lovely, small park to walk through. There are roses but also a lot of various foliage from different parts of the world. There's a large spice garden with a huge rosemary bush!

May is a fantastic time to visit the rose garden, in full bloom. There are so many wonderful flowers, and of varieties and sizes we've never seen before (even though we've visited many rose gardens all over the world). There are also fountains, art, a stream with a bridge and small waterfalls, and more to see. Wander around the paths to see it all. Enjoy!

Very nice place to spend time with family and friends and enjoy an excellent and sometimes exclusive selection of roses from all over the world. Magnificent flowers and smelling. Better period to visit- from May till August. There are underground parking nearby. Access to the park - for free. There is a public WC available.

Beautiful rose garden near Monaco' harbor. The photos were taken in fall, so I suggest to visit it during summer, to fully enjoy the blooming roses.

Supposedly the garden has more than 10,000 roses. I don't know much about the botanics but it definitely looks nice

The view over the Mediterranean is amazing. Good exotic plants within the garden and some amazing views just on the outside of it! It's worth having a visit just for the panorama of the sea. The garden is really pretty and it is a must see place if you visit Monaco.

The gardens are definitely worth a visit. There are some cool sculptures in the garden like the one of Prince Albert and there is also a really beautiful viewpoint. Moreover, the gardens lie between the Oceanographic Museum and the Cathedral. Thus, they are easily incorporated in a sightseeing tour

Everything you may need you can find here in affordable prices for Monaco. Also very nicely located and the bus stops are extremely close.

Ok. But no air in parking - impossible to breath and find the exit

Monaco restaurants are very expensive. The best place to eat or drink is the many shops inside and nearby Central Commercial de Fontvielle in southern Monaco. Naturally it has many fast food restaurants like McDonald’s and KFC.

The commercial centre in Fontvieille forced many local businesses to close down as it was impossible to compete with this centre but some local businesses opened up in the gallery.

Beautiful building beside the Catherdral where The royal family are buried. You cannot enter as it is a working judicial building, but the outside is impressive.

Nice photo opportunity near the cathedral. Was built in 1930 from a gray porous stone containing pebbles and shells and has two front stairs that join at the first floor in a balcony.

Built in 1924 on the personal initiative of HSH Prince Louis II and inaugurated on May 1st 1930. It is built out of sea tuff, a grey and porous stone. The bust of Sovereign Honoré II, dated 1568, appears in one of the Palace façades. Located next to Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Monaco-ville. Visits are not possible.

Small museum, with focus on education. Quite entertaining for children (preferebly speaking french). A fair number of artefacts from older research in nearby caves. The museum has very friendly and helpful staff, and admission is practically free (€ 1). A nice change of pace to the extravaganza of the ultra-rich, which are very much in evidence in Monaco 😉

Great fun museum with a lot of friendly staff. When visiting Monte Carlo, you have to jump in here to take a look for yourselves and i can guarantee you won't regret it. Very family friendly . A must visit!

As an anthropologist I had to visit the museum. It's a very small museum compared to others around Europe/ World, but for the price you pay you will have a great time. It's cool since you have items/ reconstructions of items found near Monaco, and it's also kids friendly with some sheets for painting and make them entertained. Outside you can see a nice view of Monaco. For 1€ (in 2023) it's a pleasant place to visit, I don't even believe that it pays the electricity spent during the time I was inside ahah.

Small, but free with garden admission. The cave (grotto) where these artifacts come from is the really cool part. Tours go there every hour on the hour. The museum itself has some pretty nice taxidermy and skeletons. Unlike US museums, they seem to have originals on display, which is neat.

It was under renovation when we visited and only one wing is receiving visitors. But for 1 euro, it was well worth it!

Small museum but the visit was totally worth it. The exhibits were unique and amazing. Lots of insightful information. The entry ticket is 1 € and the view from the terrace is amazing.

Took me forever to find it, when I finally did I was told it was already closed at 5.30, even though allegedly it closes at 6 pm. I was really disappointed, as I had hurried and walked so much searching for it and had been so glad when I thought I'd finally found it in time for a quick visit. Absolutely gutted, as the entrance looked really nice and I'd been looking forward to visiting on my one and only day in Monaco, which I also could've spent better than searching for a bunch of closed places. 😞

The museum undergoes an energetic transformation and for now only one room is available with very limited exhibition. It's not worth visiting it now, I'd recommend to wait until the end of the renovation

A very serene place to find some peace, with an amazing view.

Brilliant viewpoint over Monaco. I believe the Fort is sometimes used for theatre so may not always be accessible. However, if it is, it is an excellent spot for photos looking back at Monaco and its harbour. I would recommend coming here both during the day and at night to see Monaco lit up.

This is a must check out destination in Monte Carlo. It has been turned into a very nice park. Expect to spend a few hours there depending on how fast you can walk, there are a lot of stairs and uphill walking.
