We decided to visit Dalby Forest while our Grandson was staying with us so we booked a day off and headed off to visit and do the Gruffalo Trail as its one of his favourites... The good point ... he loved the little play park by the car park. Bad points... poor signage , we parked up when got there , got already to head off and do the trail when only after visiting the visitor centre were told we had to get back in the car and drive 15 minutes up the road to another car park , this could have been avoided if there were signs telling you were to go. The Gruffalo Trail , was boring for our Grandson , we expected a trail of Gruffalo Sculptures as advertised along the trail , sadly 3 sculptures in the first 50 yards then an hour walk through the woods with nothing but trees and boggy quagmires (see photos of the trail).. expected sculptures to be dotted around the trail to keep him interested , maybe even some posters of characrers sadly not just the odd post with a yellow sign showing you the way. We were on site for 2 hours including the drive to the trail and back from it .. £10 parking very expensive for 2 hours walking... should be charged by the hour !! All in all disappointed ... but moreso Grandson was very disappointed...

Visited Sunday 9th April 2023, early afternoon. Absolutely superb multi use forest park, great for individuals, couples, and families of all ages including those with disabilities and/or mobility issues. Great variety of walking trails varying from paved, flat surfaces to steep hills through the forest itself. Wide range of mountain biking trails from family friendly to novice but off road to world cup black runs, bike hire is available but worth booking in advance. Visitors centre is as expected, hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food, ice cream etc, drinks are reasonable but food is a little expensive. Toilets and cycling facilities are available. Price wise it's a flat £10 to enter/park, it doesn't matter if you're there for an hour or 6 hours...it's the same price so make the most of it by spending the day there. We'll definitely be back....with my bike next time

What a fantastic forest. You just wouldn't believe its like it is. It has numerous walks of which I in my 60s managed to do the steepest and hardest. The whole forest is enormous. You could spend everyday there and still not see it all. It is superb.

Quite pricy parking but it goes into the upkeep of a fantastic place. The mtb trails are excellent & the scenery breath taking.

We went on a 2 hour hiking trail (Walker's only) 🙂 But it's a pity cyclist don't know, understand or care about the rules on what the difference are between a hiking trail and a cycling trail. ☹☹☹

What a great place for walking and cycling. Things to note: The place is so large it's 6 miles from the entrance to the visitor centre! This means the 20 mins free parking is worthless if you drive that distance and dont plan to stay long. Given the size, there are plenty of quiet spots. There's plenty for children to do without having to pay for Go Ape (though i love that too) The play park was excellent and there was a wild bird display while we were there too. Parking very expensive at 10 quid in summer months! There are toilets in the car park midway to the visitor centre if you wish to avoid the crowded area. If you enjoy being off grid, then it's ideal as there is no mobile signal for miles around. Do stop at the bungalow near the entrance selling fresh produce, the jam is lovely. The cafe food is really nice and the prices are reasonable. The signage was very confusing, and we couldn't work out what the walking routes were from the visitor centre. All in all I would love to return next time we holiday in the area.

Great place for bike riding for all abilities. Loads of good trails. Visitor centre with good food and bike shop for any equipment needed.

Excellent day out for all ages. Various trails of multiple "difficulty". Onsite facilities cover everything you require and prices for food and drink aren't extortionate, if you decide not to bring a picnic. Bike trails are also available for those seeking more thrills. There are activities throughout the forest, which is all well kept and staff are generally polite and friendly. Perfect place to enjoy nature.

We just visited for the first time. What a place! Unbelievable size with all sorts of walks and cycle trails. Zip lines, play areas for the kids and lakes to walk around. Spread out over a huge area with multiple places to park. We just signed up for an annual ticket. Very good value!!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful forest, excellent walking and mountain biking trails for all standards. Great picnic areas and fab park for the kids..Fairly eco as they collect rainwater..Only negative is, doesn't seem to be any recycling, just mixed rubbish bins. The cafe just supplies everything in cardboard containers and plastic bottles...Would be better if it were more environmental..

Great place for mountain biking. There are plenty of trials to suit all levels. The red route is 21.5 miles. There's a cafe in the main car park, there is also cycle hire. There is an activity center that also sells refreshments.

The kids and I love Dalby Forest, we are heading back there in a couple of weeks. It has a really good bike trail which you can hire bikes, electric bikes and also carriages for a little ones. There is also lots of activities for the kids as in Tree climbing, zip wire and a big park. Definitely a good day out for the kids!

What a lovely little castle ruin, fun little kids treasure hunt which entertained my little ones. Lots of space for kids to explore and learn some history at the same time. Staff absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful & professional. Small gift shop. Run by English Heritage. Perfect visitors spot.

Lovely old building. The 2 guys in the shop were great, too. The site needs some love, though. Wooden stairs look rotten, and the grass, etc, is really overgrown. Difficult to wall down a few paths due to the overgrowth.

Very small car park but street parking very near. Lovely staff. Little shop. No cafe but a coffee machine. Really appreciate the reconstruction pictures . Dressing up clothes for younger ones in the church. Great views over Pickering from the top and, at the opposite side, of the station and the steam trains! A very pleasant, interesting visit.

This is a castle to explore outside not inside (it would get 5 stars if both!). Walk round the exterior for free. It's atmospheric and you will see the Sally port in the moat. There is a small display in the old courthouse/Chapel. Great views. And great for kids to run around in.

Who’d have thought Pickering has a castle, and such an impressive ruin it is. My toddlers love the place, they love doing the fairy hunt. We’ve been a handful of times now and it’s never been very busy. Perfect place for a picnic. Staff have always been friendly and accommodating

Situated just up from the station and highstreet, the ruins of Pickering Castle offer some great views. Plenty of information boards and dressing up available for children. Picnic benches are situated close to entrance close to ticket booth/shop. Small carpark with toilets, a minutes walk away.

Beautiful example of a motte and bailey castle. Lovely, peaceful atmosphere and setting in the pretty, historic town of Pickering. Lovely for a stroll around on a summer day and the view from the keep is spectacular. The lady on the front desk was very helpful and made our visit even better.

Had a great time visiting a few English Heritage sites while on a weeks camping trip in Scarborough. Loved Pickering Castle and learning about some of the history behind it. We had a great day. There are some lovely views from the castle.

Pickering castle is impressive. Originally built in 1069 during the reign of William 1st,(Conquerer) as a Motte & bailey castle with wooden ramparts & outer defence, these were replaced by stone in the 13th century in the reign of Henry lll, the curtain wall with its 3 towers, were the last addition to the the castle, these were added in the 1320s by Edward ll. Built for defence against a Scottish invasion which never came, it was also used as a Royal hunting lodge, although when the royals were not in attendance, a constable had stewardship of the castle & the surrounding land. Eventually, the castle was abandoned & fell into ruin. Over time, a fair amount of stonework was removed by local people for other building purposes. The curtain wall is virtually complete, along with it's towers, the stone building atop the mound has been drastically reduced, but enough is left to give visitors a sense of what it was like. The mound itself is solid & complete with its defensive ditch. There is a stone chapel within the castle, there are info panels in here giving the history of the castle, also, there are medieval style clothes that children can dress up in & wear around the castle, of course, they must be returned. There is a shop where you can get refreshments/souvenirs, this is also where you pay your entry fee unless you're ab English Heritage member who enter for free. The land is sill owned by the Royals, but managed by E heritage. The views from the top of the mound/motte, are impressive, I thoroughly recommend a visit when visiting the beautiful town of Pickering.

Great castle ruins, you can still see where the moat was, climb the tower to see panoramic views of the village below and lots of areas for young children to explore. Free parking lot on site and toilets with baby changing facilities. There are also picnic benches inside the walls so it’s perfect for a family day out, dog friendly as well. Don’t forget to book your ticket before you go to get the best price.

Pickering Castle is a good example of a motte and Bailey castle. A lovely place to visit for young and old there is a little gift shop as you go in through the entrance the car park is only small so it is wise to park in town car park as it only a short walk. A good day out.

Interesting castle ruin. The main walls and towers are still standing, but most are locked / fenced off. There are a few information boards scattered about the place to give you a bit of context (if, like me, you're too tight to buy the guidebook). Worth a visit, but probably not worthy of more than an hour. It's literally across the road from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway car park, so a good option if you have time to kill while waiting for a train. Like a lot of English Heritage places it feels a little down-at-heel (certainly compared to most NT places) - the signs are all a bit old and faded and the woodwork on many of the steps is looking a bit rickety (with some stairs being shut as a result).

Nice ruined castle dating back to 13th century, although there has been a castle on the site since 1070. Grounds are nicely kept and there are a couple of flights of stairs to get up to the keep and tower. Plenty of picnic tables. Car park is very small but their is additional parking in the street nearby. A nice way to spend an hour or two. Only 10 or fifteen minutes walk up the hill from Pickering town centre.

The first problem we had was, "where is the car park?" Turned out it was a poorly signed posted 'track'. It's too easy to drive past it, the sign on the gate is completely faded and the on, further back and on the other side is too far away to see when driving by it. Told the staff who seemed surprised that I had problems. The castle itself is ok, as with a lot of English Heritage properties to information boards are simple and unexciting with minimal background information. Given the price there is little to see, although the views were good. A walk round is about 30 mins at best and if it rains dont bother. Overall the castle itself could be quite interesting but in this instance English Heritage have put very little into it. The cark ( if you find it) is small. Maybe 10 cars ish.

This was a decent place to visit but it wasn’t really worth the entrance fee. However this is free if you’re a member of English Heritage. The castle ruins took around 45 minutes to see it all because there really isn’t much left.

March 2022. Didn't go inside museum. Took some pictures of the pretty stream in the front garden area. With the light drizzle of rain upon the grass it looked amazingly green and lustrous. This caught my eye and I couldn't resist taking a pic!

Something for everyone in this quaint museum. Information about the glacier effect in the areas, various historical shops and information on the areas industry and agriculture. A packed outside area of carts and ploughs,a printing shop and forge. My husband,daughter and I loved the pub games. We spent an interesting 2 hours there. Highly recommended

Like a Tardis, loads to look at and we'll maintained. A lovely lady and gentleman in charge and very helpful. Limited parking and better to book . Very reasonable price for a family of four. Great place if it's raining. Closed end of October till March/April.

This museum was far bigger and the content range and quality better than we ever expected in a twon the size of Pickering. The main them in rural life, but it covers every aspect from prison to pulpit, from cooking to carpentry, from childhood to old age and everything in between. You need two hours to do justice to the range of displays which cover a much larger area than expected.

We spent a very informative two hours here exploring the museum finding out more about life in Pickenham in the years gone by.

So thoughtfully presented this brought back so many childhood memories. Really enjoyed my time here would definately recommend a visit.

Much time and effort have been spent on this volunteer run museum. There's lots to see about how life was in and around Pickering and the life and work of its inhabitants.

It's like a tardis. So much more to see than it looks like from the outside.

Beautiful and unusual medieval church hidden away up a narrow pathway, with rare, fantastic paintings to discover and stone knights. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly warden who pointed items of interest out to our eight year old granddaughter who was very interested in comparing it with the church school she attends. She also lit a candle, bought a booklet about the church and a palm cross for Easter. Thank you for an interesting and warm visit.

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is a must see, it is a pretty church, just off the centre of Pickering. Once inside the recovered illustrations on the walls give some indication of how churches used to be. Wonderful.

We were tipped off about this lovely church and the beautifully preserved medieval wall paintings, so popped in on our North York Moors railway trip. Handy guide in the church which describes the individual depicted scenes. Well worth popping in to see these.

This is a splendid, well cared for and well run parish church which is a must see place when visiting Pickering. The large porch is a wonderful place to sit and watch the comings and goings. I was very impressed with the tidy and informative notice boards, an excellent example to other churches. Inside are magnificent wall paintings. These medieval frescoes, completed over 500 years ago, are worthy of study and there is an informative illustrative booklet for purchase. There is a quiet area to light a candle, and to sit and pray. The best time to visit is when there is a service and details are provided about that. We shall certainly return when we are next on holiday here.

In the beautiful town of pickering can be found this church with some of the finest medieval Wall art in the country. At various times it has been whitewashed over and then uncovered. Now restored to its original glory. There are also windows and tombs of interest but your eyes will be co sta try drawn upwards to the are. Truly breathtaking

Magnificent 15th Century wallpaintings, modern glass behind the altar. A fascinating mix of ancient and modern. They have also prepared a very good booklet about the church packed with information.

Decent brewery tap serving decent beer brewed on site. Campsite is very basic, no lights or hot water in the toilet block, but this is reflected in the price. Didn't eat there because the vegetarian selection is very limited but others seemed to be enjoying their food. Travelled with friends who stayed at the B&B and they had no complaints other than that the breakfast also lacked vegetarian options. Very dog friendly which is always a bonus.

We stopped for an early Sunday evening meal with 2kids and our dog. A very friendly pub with a good selection on the menu and local beers on tap. I had a Sunday roast and a pint of Cropton Stout and both were delicious. The whole family devoured their food, generous portions too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

A lovely country pub only a few miles from Pickering with excellent beers brewed on site . There's also a delicious variety of food available to choose from. And it's dog friendly with a inviting log burner for those cold winter days. We're looking forward to going back there soon.

What a find this place is! We booked a last minute three night stay here for just after Easter. Very reasonably priced for bed and breakfast, and, boy, what a breakfast! Full English each day with tea or coffee, toast, also available cereals and fruit juices. Yummy 😋. The New Inn is a proper old pub with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and, most of all, a brilliant selection of beers brewed on site. Also, the food is spectacular. We can highly recommend the steak pie, fish and chips and the scampi. The chips are awesome, properly browned and tasty. You can also do a tour of the brewery at the bottom of the garden for only £11 per person, including a taster after the tour. Josh was very informative and amusing, we can highly recommend this too. The only ever so slight negative was the fact that noise travels in the building quite a lot, but it is a pub and parts of the building are quite old. We knew what we would be getting as it is a room over a pub! We also had very noisy neighbours 🙄🙄 but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to visit again.

Really loved this pub. Great little find. Great food, loved the fact this pub had a juke box, pool table and darts board. Really great for my eldest boys, youngest loved the freedom. Thanks to the young lad for squeezing us in. Felt so welcomed, it was great to meet locals and Lass the dog. Thank you for having us. ❤️

My wife and I were given a one-night stay here as a wedding present and it didn't disappoint. The food was really good traditional British pub fare, the room was comfy and it was dog friendly so our border collie got to join us. The best part was our friend who bought us the stay drove across from York to join us for a drink because we all love Yorkshire Cider and it's virtually impossible to get hold of at the moment. We told Michael this, so when she arrived and duly ordered a pint he started pouring it then pretended the cider was off, the look on her face was absolutely priceless!

This is the third time we've stayed here. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Great ales from the pubs own brewery and the food was very good. Lovely peaceful location just a ten minute drive from Pickering. My only niggle was the room we had this time was pretty cramped, poorly lit with a tiny bathroom and it looked a bit tired. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay.

So many things to love about this place! The delicious food, wide range of beer brewed just next door, the brewery tours run by warm and friendly Josh, the charming old building with its many rooms, and the perfect customer service. The service is the best thing. We accidentally ordered a burger Mum was allergic to. When the staff found out Mum's allergies, which was after food had been cooked, they warned her she couldn't eat the meal she'd chosen and cooked an alternative. They are so nice at The New Inn and they serve high quality yet affordable local food and drink.

Nearest pub to our lodge in Keldy and we were looking for somewhere for lunch. We were met with the warmest welcome and a nice selection of their own beers. We chose a couple of pies and our teenage son had the burger, both of which were excellent but the pie especially so, crammed full of wonderfully tender beef, accompanied with beautifully cooked and seasoned veg and the manager even got us an extra jug of gravy when he noticed we had used up what we were originally given. This is the kind of pub that you could accidentally spend all day in.

Stayed here for a night on a weekend cycling. They were really helpful, providing a space for our bikes and making takeaway sausage sarnies for breakfast. Had dinner here. The beef & ale pie was absolutely deliciously with the tastiest gravy. Served with a generous portion of root vegetables. Good hearty food - ideal after a big day in the saddle. Beers also excellent. Recommend the Yorkshire pale ale & stout. Room was fine for the night. Nothing special but did a job at reasonable price.

Just popped in for a beer and meal. The pub is a brewery outlet for cropton beers and four were on hand pull and all in excellent condition. Although the menu is limited the quality is excellent and huge portions. Excellent location and a good sized car park. Definitely visit again.

Stayed on Sunday 13th. Had dinner with friends there. Staff excellent as was the evening meal. Great selection of drinks. The breakfast the following morning was a good start to the day. Couldn't fault anything. If in the area it's well worth a visit.

A lovely, traditional country pub. A great place just to drop in and have a drink after a walk in the countryside. Warm, inviting, friendly staff, great atmosphere and a good selection of beers, a few of which are brewed on site.

Great pub and food was amazing. If you want to wild camp almost, you can stay in a field pretty much next door. Lovely and peaceful with toilet and that's about it. Was perfect for us after green laning. Beers on site are amazing too.

What a great place. We stayed over and did the Brewery Tour with Josh as our guide. It was very interesting to find out how they brew and bottle. Meal was included in our stay, and it was excellent. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Great base for exploring the area. Would definitely go back.

We arrived at The New Inn after a long and horrendous drive from Dover. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the beer was great! We stayed in the cottage and it was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. After dinner I went to the pub and chatted with a few friendly locals. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again someday. If so, we’ll definitely stay a few nights longer.

We stopped over at the New Inn for overnight camping. Never been before but we immediately felt welcome, the atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly. Good food and beer. The manager is craZy and the Mouse kept us laughing all night. I have never ever been applauded out of a pub before in my life! Fabulous place and will definitely be going back. Camping field wasn't bad either.

We visited the New Inn as part of an experience including the Crompton brewery tour. We had an evening meal and breakfast as part of our stay and the food and service was exemplary. The only downside for us was the light coming into the room all night from the hallway and also from outside, as the curtains weren't really suited to the type of window the room had. This is the reason I've marked the room down. Also, unfortunately there were some ignorant dog owners staying, who thought it was ok to let their dogs bark constantly all evening and early morning but this isn't an issue with the facility but rather other guests.

Booked in for the tour and overnight stay! A lovely wet house pub, great beers... obviously! Cosy bar area and Pool table in another room. Meal was lovely in the evening, great pie. We ate in the bar but there is a separate restaurant if preferred and where breakfast is served! Which was also good! Huge conservatory available too and said open in the warmer months. Staff really friendly and helpful. Especially Lee.

Booked for the brewery tour and meal deal for 2. Food was excellent and the Beermisu dessert was divine. Josh, our tour guide, explained the brewing process faultlessly and his interaction with the group was great. The ales were also fantastic. Thanks to all involved for a great day.

Stopped in here for a couple of drinks while staying nearby. Excellent beers which are brewed on site. Came back the following night to sample the food; we weren't disappointed. The steak and ale pie was lovely, and huge portions of fresh veg. The dispensing technician (as he named himself) behind the bar was a genial host. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

We stayed here as part of a red letter day deal which included a brewer tour. The tour was excellent, as was the included tasting. Having been on tours before I didn't expect to learn too much, but did. The pub is quite tradional, comfortable and friendly. Our room was at the top of the pub and comfortable, if a little odd, toilet in one little room, shower in another. Food was ok, steak and ale pie for main course was overcooked but the filling was excellent Overall a good overnight stay

Great pub and good food with a small beer garden. We did the brewery tour which was very informative. Obviously their own ales on sale in the bar. There's also a pool table in the back room.

We did not know about the Old Forge glass works until we came across it in Rosedale. What a delightful experience it was. We watched expert craftsmen at work blowing and shaping glass and then Stephen spent time explaining the process.When we decided on a purchase Kate gave us more insight into her designs. If you're in or around Rosedale Abbey it's well worth a visit to see the stunning glasswork on display. I've got 3 lovely bowls. My latest addition is a limited edition foxglove bowl which is beautiful, as are the foxgloves currently on display all over the North York Moors National Park.

A quick visit as we were curious to see how the beautiful items were made. Unfortunately there was no demo but interesting guys who told us they had been commissioned to make so pieces for a Wimbledon presentation. Beautiful pieces!

Incredible place! Two super informative guys there when I visited. Amazing to watch them cooperate to create their works of art. In between tasks they enthusiastically answered my questions, all of which I'm sure they'd been asked many times before. Clearly passionate about their craft.

We visited the studio while on holiday recently and spent a happy hour or so watching vases being created. The pieces on display are beautiful and we came away with a small memento, wishing we had put aside a budget for one of the engraved pieces. Next time we will know better

Located in the small village of Rosedale Abbey where glass making took place in history, what a great reason to locate here. Get chance to see the glassware being made as you look around the shop. Purchased lovely red vase.

I'll start this review with an important note, I'm not the world's most enthusiastic shopper! That said, this place did grab my attention a little, there are so many eclectic things, artisan things here, it's hard not to be impressed. If you're looking for something different for either a present or something for the home you should at least have a look round, you may be pleasantly surprised!!

Full of quirky interesting items. Used to be a full antique and second hand market, but more craft and decorative item focused now. Lots to see inside and worth a visit.

Aptly named and I hadn't realised this was here on my previous visits to Pickering. It's far bigger than I was expecting and has lots of choice of household items from ceramics to hanging chimes, to storage boxes, rugs, furniture, crystals, candles, vintage effect signs and more. Lots of gift ideas. I had run short on time but I will definitely revisit.

Absolutely love this place! They have some really different things...ideal if your looking for a gift or just want to treat yourself to something for your home or garden! They have such a good selection of clothing, homeware, handbags and a nice area of holistic oils, incense etc. Always enjoy our visits when looking for something different or simply just to browse. Friendly service and no pressure to buy! Pickering is such a lovely place, with great clothes shops, eateries, a fabulous cake shop, butchers, and really has all the independent shops you could wish for! Add to that the prettiness of the place and all in all a wonderful place to visit! ❤️

Wonderful local theatre 🎭 shows are amazing and once a month we have a picture to look forward to. Drinks are available seats comfortable and volunteer staff very friendly. We are so lucky in Pickering to have this theatre. Long may it continue! Thanks to everyone who make it possible.

Pickering is so lucky to have its own little theatre which is run by volunteers. Musical shows are produced regularly and other occasional shows such as musical entertainer impersonators ie Elvis and Dolly Parton and drama productions. It has comfortable seating, clean and well functioning toilets, a sweet counter and a bar. A delightful asset to the town.

A fabulously traditional old Theatre in the centre of Pickering. Run by volunteers it's a real treasure. They put on a variety of shows and plays throughout the year of exceptional quality. Have cinema screenings once a month and live theatre streaming. It's great that these old, wonderful theatres are being preserved and used. The seats are very comfortable too which is a bonus. We love this little Theatre. It's a gem.

In a new location, about 50 metres from the previous one, and our first visit there. A little smaller but a good range of items laid out in several rooms over 2 floors. As is appropriate for a town with the terminus of a heritage railway, a good selection of items relating to railways.

Very nice shop with some interesting stock - we went in for an oil lamp chimney but the owner said they didn't stock them so we had a look round anyway - and found a shelf full of various different ones, including the size we needed. Happily we are now the owners of the aforementioned chimney at reasonable cost. All's well that ends well!

Nice shop, thought it might be bigger due to description on website. But it has a good array of items well laid out.

Excellent prices with very helpful staff. Lots to choose from out of 9 different rooms filled with antiques. Will definitely be going back.

Always visit if passing when open, good range of interesting items. Car park at rear and dog friendly. Close to town centre for cafes, pubs and shops

Not my type of shop, nothing in there of interest for me to buy. However, nicely laid out, nice atmosphere and no pressure sales persons.

Stayed in the car park ... Motorhome stop over. Only facility is to empty black waste. Handy for being in the middle of Pickering. £10 a night

Did the full red route (22 miles) and would describe as a natural xc route with some man made parts and the occasional tricky surprise drop. A nice route to spend a few hours. I felt there was a lot of climbing for more flatter descents plus a fair bit fire road.

The lads loved it doing jumps and trails 🚵‍♂️ And the walks for me and Betsy were great too 🐕 🐶

Good skills area with a variety of graded loops, which allow you to hone your technique whatever your level. My 4 year old boy loved the small pump track. This allowed him to build his confidence and by the end of the day he was riding the nearby green route single track - his first taste of mountain biking 🙂

Nice for beginners to learn bike handling skills with four small trails, jumps and berms.

Very good place to practice. The jumps are difficult, you have to pull the bike over the lip at any speed and the landing aren't entirely safe for beginners. Still very good place to warm for a ride

Clueless attempt at a bike park built by singletraction and Pace, well known boring cross country trail builders and a cross country bike company. Waste of public funds due to poor design and incompetent management. An actual embarrassment to local riders as we have to tell visitors there isn't anything else.

Kids loved practicing their jumps and cornering. Can be a bit chilly sat watching tho! Something for all abilities.
