The castle is currently closed but when it’s open, it’s so great to do a little tour of the place!

It's inside the city next to a huge part with playground and next to the exit of RER A. Also beside bar and restaurants. Perfect place with a perfect location and a view of Paris from the edge of the garden. Really recommend to visit.

The chapel Denis renovated with his friends in honour of his late wife Marthe is very special, in particular the Stations of the Cross he painted, and the frescoes depicting those who have epitomised each of the Beatitudes.

It's isolated enough that you can hear little to no car noises once you're deep into the forest. We couldn't find any clearings to or nice areas to have a picnic. You may find some trash lying around but that's the people's fault, not the forest.
