Always windy and sometimes its hot and after 3mins its raining lol. "Welcome to baler!" Local always says that like they're used to it already. You can surf here too :)

The waves in this beach are huge and are not ideal for swimming, but are fun for surfing enthusiasts. The place provides a stunning view of the sunrise and the Sierra Madre Mountain range. There are a lot of people during the weekends.

One of my favorite places to chill. Been staying in this area everytime we go to Baler. This is were surfing in Baler happens. There are also lots of accomodations, cafes, and restos that cater to different budget considerations. Although this area could get touristy, it still retains a very local vibe since you seldom see foreign tourists.

Disappointed. We drove all the way from Batangas to see this dirty, overrated, not charming beach. There were too many trash and litters all over the place. The locally government should maintain it.

It was summer 2017. We stayed at Pacific Waves Inn, about 100 meters from the beach. The beach was really made for surfing. The waves are strong yet gentle. Surfers, young and old, could go farther from the shore because the water is shallow. Even if you are not fond of surfing, you can still enjoy the beach as there are lots of things to watch. You can even do other things like yoga, kite flying, or just walk around the beach line. Local surfing trainers are kind and you can haggle their rate. We paid 300 pesos for an hour of surfing lessons. This included the surfboard. My friends paired with each other to share the fee. Half an hour of surfing will definitely tire you. Some of the trainers have short temper, probably because some people are just naughty or because of multiple training sessions. Over all, in the morning or in late afternoon, you can never be wrong with Sabang beach.

The sand in Sabang Beach is fine to grainy. May not be recommended for swimming but perfect for surfing or if you wanna play with the waves near the shore. Sunrise view is just perfect.

The beach is open to public and your valuables aren't safe to the locals. A nice place to have surfing with those constant waves. Would suggest surfing early in the morning for bigger waves. A nice place to relax and sun bath because of the wide view area and windy environment. The nearby restaurants and guest houses offer a worth the price of surfing lesson and with free rental of surfing board.

Cons: Physically Demanding: The trail leading to the Mother Falls can be physically challenging, particularly for those unaccustomed to walking on uneven, steep, and rocky terrain. It's advisable to wear comfortable and durable footwear to navigate the trail safely. Expect to Get Wet: Be prepared for your footwear to get wet, especially if you decide to venture closer to the Mother Falls. This is an integral part of the adventure, so plan accordingly for a more enjoyable experience.

It's a very scenic route from the falls. Worth the trip after that 1 km upstream along the mini hydro dam that powers the near by town. Just be ready to get wet half body or bring anything that can be soaked. Have to pay 30 php per person and 200 for the guide it's worth the trip.

100% very stress relieving water fall. Not too deep for 5'5" . Trip advisor: Get ready for fun activity and trail is water, expect to get wet. 300 for Tour Guide and 20 pesos per head 20-35mins of trailing For who has HIKA or Heart Problem, 7/10 rate you can do it. Just slowdown and take a rest.

Ditumabo Falls or Mother Falls in Baler, Aurora. Entrance Fee of Php 30 per head and a mandatory Guide Fee of Php 300 per group. Not sure if there is a maximum number of persons per group, maybe 6 to 10. 30 to 45 minutes hike from the main entrance, crossing multiple streams and rivers, rocky and slippery - best to wear hiking shoes or sandals. 100% nature trip...love it. A short hike required to get to the falls which isn't to bad, Its quite wet at the falls so take some water proofing if you want to take some photos. The falls at the time i went were more chaotic the majestic and it was pretty busy on the weekend, try and go through the week if possible.

Ditumabo falls also known as Mothers Fall is one of the biggest falls in Baler. It 15km from Baler city and a 30 min drive. You need to pay 30 peso entry fee per adult plus 200 peso for the guide which is compulsory due to the tracking which can be dangerous without guide. The tracking itself is very scenic with river flowing on your sides and beautiful nature. The water in the fall is very cold and refreshing. Definitely recommend this place.

After about 30 mins trekking from entrance to the falls, we took a view of the majestic falls aggressively flowing to the crystal clear river.. Along the way, we dipped into the cold river which refreshed us as we continue moving towards Ditumabo falls.

Depending on your pace, the trek will take you about 30mins or so to reach Ditumabo Mother Falls. It's pristine and turquoise water is very inviting and is cold as ice. This is a must visit place in San Luis, Aurora before going to Baler, the birthplace of Philippine surfing.

A beautiful raging falls with pristine waters and equally pristine trail. You can see the care that the locals put into maintaining this tourist spot. To get here, it will take around 15-30 minutes if you’re coming from Baler to go to the parking area, then another 15-30 minutes to trek from that point to the falls itself (depending on your pace).

Ditumabo Falls is the Mother Falls found in the province of Aurora. This is such a challenging walk because it is found at Sierra Madre Mounatins. View along the way is priceless. rest assurd that it is all worth it.

20-30 mins from town proper. Roads are paved but small, steep ride. Operated by Costa Pacifica. Entrance fee is 350pesos, free for 6 years old and below. Last guest entry is 3PM, closes at 5PM. Wide beach front. Almost white sand. The kids enjoyed picking up seashells and stones. Small river/delta, an option for those who like calmer water.

We went at the perfect time. No one around so we had the place to ourselves. It was clean, quiet, and peaceful. We spent a good hour just chilling and floating by the shore. Good thing we brought our own snacks and drinks though cos when I say no one's around, I meant NOT ONE PERSON AT ALL.. not even the staff. In-house guests of Costa Pacifica get free admission.

the cove itself is wonderful but it is privately owned and restricts access to the beach which is a public domain. you have to pay 350 pesos/person to stay there. the beach is not ideal for swimming too, a bit rocky. there's a river on the side where it is also nice to swim in clean clear and cold fresh water. this is currently only accessible by boat. used to be accesible by car but road is also privately owned, so unless you know the land owner it's a no go. there's a scenic light house which you can hike with 100+ cemented stairs, the view there is really outstanding! be careful with the cliffs as the rail guards are all rusted and destroyed

Update (March 2022): There are a few new developments like the reception hut and landscaped spaces. Still a beautiful, secluded beach area. This place holds a special place in me since this is where my boyfriend proposed. We were Cube guests so we got discount. Regular entrance fee is 300/head. We ate at the resto near the parking at base of the mountain (entrance is on top just before pag-asa center). Free cottage but u can just sit literally anywhere. We had the whole place all to ourselves as we arrived at 3pm and stayed until 5pm. I couldn't explain the majestic but eerie feeling that we were the only guests in the place. We barely swam bc the current was a little strong. Each angle is ig-worthy! Extremely peaceful with just the sound of nature in the background. The beach has fine white sands but has scattered stones and rocks as well especially when nearing the river until the base of the lighthouse entry point. 175 steps going to the sundial type lighthouse. The place is naturally beautiful, an isolated area that can still be improved.

Owned by a local government official but open to the public. Make sure to call in advance as it’s closed at times. We got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves when we visited. Entrance fee is ₱350 per head and they only accept cash. this place is very perfect if you wanted to unwind. if you will visit here make sure to bring your family, friends or even your love one's it may be a tiring and long travel but it's worth travelling because of the ambiance of the Dicasalarin Cove was enough to wash away all the stress and exhaustion. so what are you waiting for? call your friends and families, pack your things and enjoy the holiday season 😁

Going here was not easy. Motorbike will bring you here that will cost you 150 each entrance is 300/pax but it was all worth it! Climbing those stairs going to the lighthouse though strange yung lighthouse nla but still so happy when you're on top! Plus going the cave too sad we're not able to swim in the cave because that time was high tide. A must place to visit if few hours from Baler.

The beach is very clean and the sand is fine. The toilet and changing rooms are clean too. There are tables and chairs and kubos. Too bad the railings going up the lighthouse were damaged. Hopefully, they can fix it.

The museum is a bit lacking. As expected of a small municipality. But the park is decent. Its a simple place where you can do picnic or walk your pet.

You can see here Baler's piece of history. Lots of artifacts and stories within the museum walls. They have a Php100 entrance fee which can give you access to other historical sites in town. The place is fully airconditioned and situated in Quezon Park. Worth the visit when you come to Baler.

It's my 2nd visit in this place. It has improved from what is is 11 years ago. It is already air conditioned and less crowded. The antiques are enclosed and arranged properly so you can take pictures beside those. Availing tickets from here will automatically gain you free access to Balay Maria Aurora nearby.

Full of heritage and history. Visiting this museum would enlighten you about Aurora and its role in the history of the country. Not much of a fantastic collection itself, but more of like how it tells the story of Baler. The entrance fee is very reasonable, at least for me.

If you are visiting Baler then you absolutely should visit this museum which showcases the important history of the region. Spanish colonialism, religious zealotry, and the humble greatness of Maria Aurora. As a bonus your entry ticket includes admission to her house one block away. For movie fans they have a photo of Francis Ford Coppola taking a swim while filming Apocalypse Now which was filmed here in Baler.

Entrance fee is 100 pesos per head, quiet pricey. But once you get a ticket, Maria Aurora's house is included in the package. I'd give the museum a 5/5 because all of the art are VERY AMAZING. I like that it's all placed in each corner and it gives a lively vibe. I just wish there's more art inside I was looking for more cos it's so pleasing to my eyes. Great artists! It's always nice to spend a day in art museums when travelling to other places. Because we get connected to the origin of the place and that's something way more of a souvenir. Recommended!

Nice history and art work in this place, the park and garden is nice to, the 100p entry is affordable and the location is close to shops and restaurants. Were quite a few people there on the weekend would be better to visit through the week if possible.

Great spot for selfies. Conquer your fear of walking along in a tight steel-rope hanging bridge. There are also novelty/souvenir shops located near along the area. Locals there are friendly and hospitable. Kids are so entertaining.

We got here on weekdays so we are the only visitor around. The people/resident and the place itself are gloomy. I'm quite surprise it's a "famous" bridge for its feature, it's just a normal substandard bridge. The town has many tourist yet they don't improve. Where are those revenues from the money these tourist are spending on your town? We shouldn't settle for substandard project of these officials. The bridge does not need maintenance, it needs total rebuilding. Their people deserve better, their safety is at stake when passing on this bridge.

The bridge's location provides ample opportunities for capturing stunning photographs, which leads me to the highlight of our visit. We had the privilege of having our pictures taken by a local child who exhibited an impressive talent for panoramic shots. It was evident that this young photographer had an innate understanding of the bridge's best angles and the surrounding landscape. Their ability to compose shots surpassed our own, resulting in a collection of captivating photographs that truly captured the essence of the place. However, my enthusiasm was tempered by concerns about the bridge's safety. The bridge's structural condition appeared less than reassuring, and the sense of stability while crossing was not entirely comforting. While I understand that hanging bridges can have an element of thrill, this seemed to veer into discomfort and unease. The creaking and swaying of the bridge were disconcerting, and some parts of the walkway showed signs of wear and tear. It's essential for both visitors and local authorities to take safety seriously to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

If you are riding a tricycle, you'll pay 20 pesos for the parking fee. There will be children around who will be asking to take your pictures and you'll to give them some amount. There are also a lot of children who'll dive and find the coins you'll drop. The hanging bridge was a great sight to see but if you're afraid of heights, you better think twice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and even for a short time, we enjoyed strolling at the bridge.

The state of dilapidation of the bridge adds to the sense of adventure! The area is where the fresh river water meets the salty sea water. This brackish water results in overgrowth of marshes which adds so much color to the scenery. Guides are available in the area who are seasoned in taking fantastic photos for tourists. It’s worth getting one.

This hanging bridge is a great place to conquer your fears. This hanging bridge provides a thrilling feel as you walk across. For people with motiom sickness, you could feel dizzy since this bridge feels like being swayed by the wind. The waves of the river makes you feel like the bridge is being pulled towards one side. The locals are friendly and some kids are willing to take photos for you. There are souvenir shops on both sides of the place. Donations for the maintenance of the bridge are appreciated. Also, prepare 20 pesos for the pay parking.

Just a quick stop just to view and take some pictures. It was indeed beautiful. But i wasn't able to go through the end because I'm afraid I might fall because it was shaking specially if someone was also walking.

Super windy but soothing to relax you. Mostly clean and in order. Waves during the afternoon are usually huge especially around 4 pm depending on the tide and weather. Sand is not really sand but like almost finely crushed corals so better have wet shoes or sandals. Rocks and corals are also aroudn the area. Empty beautiful seashells are also abundant.

What a great place to explore with. Make sure to bring your cameras with you during the trip.

Diguisit Beach is a calm and quiet beach in baler. because of its located on the dead end of the road, there are no outside people other than who is coming to this specific location. there are few sea side resorts for the stay and recreation. a calm quiet rocky beach with a beautiful waterfall nearby.

Coast line of Baler. With natural rock formations. Nice clear sea water. Great for taking a dip. Can fish in the area. Many tourist visit Diguisit.

This beach is beautiful with all the rock formations and various pebbles on the shore. Although some may not like it, this beach offers you a sand and stone shoreline. The resort we went into also has a swimming pool just beside the shore.

Very small venue will cost you 100p to have a look but its worth it if you have a half hour spare and its close to Quezon park and Museo de Baler.

Step through time when you visit this place. It is quite historical and shows the early Philippine culture, especially on how we live by during those years. The house and the items inside are well preserved and will definitely stand out for a long time. Good for kids to drop by as it is also educational.

Free museum to visit the reconstructed former home of the first lady Aurora Quezon. Theres some pictures related to her life and paintings which featured her and scneries related to the province.

This is the Replica of Dona Aurora Aragon - Quezon house. A lot of Books, photographs, paintaings and memorabilia. You will enjoy the place very educational.

The entire thing is a replica. What's left of the original is the lot where the replica house is standing. The pass is included in the environmental fee of 100 from the lgu. So might as well visit it.

Nothing much to see but nice to step into historical houses like this to see how they live back then. The house is preserved well, so the old look and vibe is there.

Place is so clean. Water is sooo clear and cold. You will need to walk/trek for 5 minutes only from the parking. You will also need to pay twice. If added, you will need to pay around PHP 55-60 (cannot remember the exact price) per person. We did not avail a cottage since we will only stay for an hour. But I heard it’s a bit pricey also. The falls itself if just small, and I think the current of the water varies per day. But still so good! 🤍

I love nature that's why my rating is excellent. the water is cold, the whole surroundings is also cold and you can have very fresh water caressing your whole body why dipping yourself in the falls. the trek is not so distant and you can definitely spend some romantic moments in the place in the newly built cottages beside the falls. the music coming from the running water mixed with the humming and tweeting of birds really brings you to the wisdom of the divine. really amazing!

If you’re looking for waterfalls near Baler that is relatively easy to access, Caunayan Falls is the way to go. There isn’t much signage going in but following Google Maps/Waze should lead you there perfectly fine. It is situated inside a resort so there are a couple of fees to enter, one for an environmental fee and one for entrance fee. There is an option to get a cabana as well (in the second payment area) but we didn’t get one since we were only there for a quick time. There is no place to put your belongings otherwise so if you plan to spend time there I’d recommend to get a cabana. The falls itself was really clear and cold, it felt so magical. The area has quite a bit of rocks so do take caution, especially some slippery ones. It was much more crowded than I expected for a weekday, there were no cabanas available and I did have to wait to take a photo under the waterfall. Other than that, I loved my time here and would love to go back!

I love this place! the water is so cold you can even soak your beverages for instant cold drink 😊 Approximately 4 to 5 hours away from Manila, I love Aurora even if the travel is challenging because of up hills, but you will get to enjoy the scenery. Caunayan falls was one of my favourite falls. You feel like you are one with nature, so calming, refreshing, and definitely relaxing! Include this to your travel list and you wont regret it 🤚🫶

The place is far from main road and the road is not cemented so be ready for a bumpy ride. At first, we paid PHP20 for the said entrance fee, then after a few minutes of drive we were asked again to pay for entrance fee again (PHP20). And then at the main waterfall area, we paid again entrance fee (Per person) and you can also rent a cottage if you want. The place is good. The water is fresh and cold and the place can be crowded at times especially at peak summer season. Also be aware of your belongings for one of my friend's wallet was lost here. Swimming pools are also available near the entrance. Their restrooms are bad. They do not have water running in the faucet and it has no locks, i guarded my girlfriend's restroom when she was using it so that others won't used it. There are also souvenir shops nearby if you want to buy some pasalubong. Overall, this place is for just experiencing the falls. For me, it would b better if y find a hotel with good amenities then just visit this place for a half day.

If you are not into surfing and prefer a quiet place with nature, I highly recommended Diguisit area.

Super windy but soothing to relax you. Mostly clean and in order. Waves during the afternoon are usually huge especially around 4 pm depending on the tide and weather. Sand is not really sand but like almost finely crushed corals so better have wet shoes or sandals. Rocks and corals are also aroudn the area. Empty beautiful seashells are also abundant.

What a great place to explore with. Make sure to bring your cameras with you during the trip.

Diguisit Beach is a calm and quiet beach in baler. because of its located on the dead end of the road, there are no outside people other than who is coming to this specific location. there are few sea side resorts for the stay and recreation. a calm quiet rocky beach with a beautiful waterfall nearby.

Perfect for picture taking but it actually is tough/a bit dangerous to swim since the tide is high and there are lots of rocks. There’s just one particular area with a sand bar:-)

This beach is beautiful with all the rock formations and various pebbles on the shore. Although some may not like it, this beach offers you a sand and stone shoreline. The resort we went into also has a swimming pool just beside the shore.
