Awesome! We went as a family for 4, 2 adults, 3 year old and 6 year old. It was fantastically entertaining for all of us. I wasn’t sure if there would be enough for the little one but everything feels so safe and well thought out, there was plenty to do. I love that we could all get something out of it, climbing up into the trees. Everything was included in the price (except for food) which was refreshing. The kids enjoyed all the climbing spaces, face painting and live theatre show. The cafe had plenty of variety and all reasonably priced. There were lots of benches with shade for picnics or cafe food. We arrived about 11.30 and there were plenty of cars in the car park but no queue to get in. The bewilderboat was busy with a 15min wait so we walked the trail instead which was fun as it had plenty to look at. The first area within the park was quite busy and we queued up the tree and round to the slides but after that, it was more spread out and easy to move about. We stayed until closing. Definitely will be back.

Took my very active 2 year old and 7 year old. Everyone absolutely loved it, both children got to do everything obviously with adult support too but their was also so much to do where the adult could take a break too🤣 as you definitely need it. We had a lovely boat trip at the beginning with lovely stories for the kids.Park is well kept and all staff are absolutely lovely, The little food huts had dairy free options witch is amazing for us as some places don't do this. Food and drink was priced OK, we brought a picnic but brought lollies and drinks so we didn't spend too much. If your looking for a fun filled day out then I'd highly recommend here. We came at 10am and didn't leave till 3.30pm and it was hard to get the kids out, But the gift shop helped🤣 everyone walked out with smiles on their faces and their legs aching! We will definitely come back and do it all over again

Fantastic day with the kids. Lots of tree houses, treetop mazes, zip wires, story telling and crafts. Very well done, plenty of coffee and food places and great for keeping the little ones occupied for a few hours. Will definitely be back.

A truly magical day out for all of the family. Prices were really reasonable and all of the activities once there were included in the ticket price. Food was tasty and very fairly priced and was different to what you'll find at most family attractions (e.g. sausage casserole). I can imagine that if you visited on a really rainy day it would make it much less enjoyable - we had only a couple of really light and brief showers and it didn't detract from the fun in anyway. But there's not much in the way of shelter so you're advised to go prepared! We arrived for opening and left just before closing and we didn't quite manage to do absolutely everything so rest assured there's plenty to keep you busy. When it's busy you can expect to queue at some of the pinch points and for the boat ride (short but fun) - exacerbated by one of the boats being out of action the day we visited. All of the wooden structures were lots of fun and it felt like a really unique day out. Highly recommend to anyone with young children.

We had the most amazing day here. All the staff are friendly. The prices are really reasonable. The paths are good for buggys and wheelchairs. My children loved the slides and zip wires. All the adults enjoyed the maizes and climbing frames as well as the children. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Gluten free options available. So much to do, arts, face painting, boat ride, shows and exploring.

This is by far, one of our favourite places to go every time we are in the area. Get ready to bring out the child within and get mucky. Huge adventure climbing frames, den building, zip lines, mega slides, face painting, hourly stage shows, boat rides etc. The kids and i just absolutely love this place, be prepared to spend the day there, we arrived at 10:30am and left at 5pm. We bought packed lunch to have which is what most people did. There's like 5 big adventure climbing frames + smaller parks with swings, slides, smaller frames to climb + areas for younger kids. It was so good to spend the day there. They have 3 sets of zip lines, one of which is for kids 5 and under which is really good. Overall, this should be on your must visit list if you are ever planning a good day out. If the days wet, be prepared to get muddy but if you get the weather right, you'll have an amazing time.

Stumbled across this place while on holiday purely by accident looking for something a little different to do with the kids. What a fantastic place. Staff were awesome! Friendly and enthusiastic! The park was beautiful and who doesn't want to play in GIANT treehouses!! The kids thought it was fantastic and even better we got to join in! Loved it and can't wait to go back. It's pricey but well worth it! Best day of our holiday by far.

We had a brilliant day here as 2 adults and 1 child (6yo). I can say that I had as a good a time as the 6yo if not better! Plenty of activities available alongside the climbing. Brilliant boat ride. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

It's just a simple playground with a very limited variety of simple installations. The age group it really caters for is max 8-9. The location in the woods is nice albeit in the middle of nowhere. The boatmen are great in trying to convey a bit of the magic. And the ticket price leaves you to expect a LOT more.

We spent the day at BeWILDerwood and the children loved it. There was lots to do including a boat ride, zip lines, fast slides and lots of wooden climbing areas that kept the children busy for hours. There was plenty of places to grab a drink or a bite to eat and there were spaces for families to eat their picnics. We also went to the lantern parade in the evening and the children made their own lanterns and enjoyed a night time walk through the forest. A brilliant day out!

A mecca for the Conservative holiday maker. The park is well run and never felt overcrowded. It blends the themes of the novels into its sylvan surroundings with ease. The storytellers are adroit and perform their part with much aplomb. The activities will make the time fly by. Perfectly suited to children between 3-7. 8 at a stretch. Adults won’t be bored either and they run to keep an eye on the brood. An abundance of plastic water bottles suggests that they might want to take a leaf from the YHA and consider selling refillable (?branded) bottles to use with a water fountain.

A must visit when coming to Norfolk! Fun for all the family and for the kids to get adventurous, mucky and burn the steam off! Adults, beware for a leg workout climbing around everywhere 😂. Food was really good, had the hotpot which was very flavorful. 10/10 would go again.

A good day out and in reality it was largely a series of playgrounds throughout the woods but the kids enjoyed it and that’s all that matters. Storytelling, crafts & a boat ride add to the fun. I would have liked to see the staff/actors linking each of the play areas to the storyline which would have given it an extra dimension. Food & drink were acceptable.

This was my daughter 5th birthday gift,we came to visit from London to see her best friend who moved to the area here. We couldn't ask for more fun and excitement and loving time! Is a memory we will keep forever in our hearts 💕

Brilliant day out for the family. Loads of climbing areas for adults and kids to run around. Boat ride is a nice addition. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Take picnics with you if possible as the food is a little pricey especially the hot drinks which are in small cups and about £3 a pop. Be sure to catch the live shows with swampy👍

THE BEST DAY OUT FOR CHILDREN. Met up with some friends during the Easter holidays, this is such an outstanding place for children. We spent ALL DAY here and had to physically carry our children out as they just didn't want to leave!! Truly fantastic value for money as it is an all day event, so much going on but because the site is so vast never felt overcrowded despite being very busy. The boat journey is an absolute must & the story time is also a highlight, den building, hat making the list goes on...don't hesitate just book it.

Absolutely fantastic place for kids to run, play and climb. There are boat rides, puppet shows, zip lines and various different structures for kids to explore.

Lovely day spent here during Easter half term. Both my teen and toddler were kept happy and entertained. My teen particularly enjoyed feeding the goats whereas my toddler particularly enjoyed petting the chicks and going on the rides. I would say the rides are quite dated and would be great if there were more of them but we all had a fantastic day. It's been so many years since I've been but will come more often now.

To get to the soft play area and see a few farm animals it costs £10 / adult and it cost £6 for a 2 year old. There was another play area with rides, but that closed at 3pm, with the rest of the area closing at 5pm. We were NOT told part of the area was about to close. I know they have to feed the animals, but quite frankly this area is a complete rip off and how the woman in the kiosk didn't tell us that the area with the rides was closing a whole 2 hours before the rest closed was deceitful. I would not recommend this.

Great value and perfect for 2 to 9 year olds. Can easily spend all day there. Our 11 and 13 year old liked the mini golf and water fights but not an all day thing for that age. Could have done with a few more Ice cream stalls but you could get some ice creams from the cafe as you come in.

Visited both the junior farm and the fun park. A mini zoo where you can see goats, sheep, alpacas (we saw two), pigs, bunnies, tortoise, ponies and cows. There is a sheep maternity unit as well. Entrance fees £9.90 per person (adult and kids alike) under 1 y/o free of charge. Plenty of washing sink and hand soap facilities throughout the junior farm. You will have the opportunity to comb the ponies which is quite a fun experience for the kids. The fun park has exceeded my expectations, there are crazy golf, trains, jumping frogs, air bouncer, water balloon etc, for all ages of kids and adults alike. Spent 4 hours there, but expect a long queue during lunch hours in the cafe at weekends. Plenty of parking space and free of charge. Only that it is all pebble paths so will be slightly difficult for baby push chairs but not too bad.

I love the farm. Since they have included the rides in the day ticket this is a real value for money day out. Lots of open space for picnics, mini golf and water bomb fights. They even have a rainy day money back guarantee. My girls (5 & 7) love the animal encounters too.

Great experience on a day out with kids. Although we had our slot at 11.30am, we were happily let in at 11am as we reached early. We were there particularly for the pumpkin fest. Besides that, we enjoyed hen, goat and sheep feeding as well as in pony grooming. Also spent considerable time in kids play areas and pumpkin carving. We checked out at 4.30pm and it was perfect. I believe 4-5 hrs is the most decent time one can plan with kids, considering the lunch duration as well.

Fantastic day out and great value. Lots to see and do. If you go now there is a great maze and sunflower fields. In the autumn a pumpkin patch! Looking forward to going again soon.

We recently visited for a Glamping weekend in one of the new Bell tents. What an amazing experience. The children (3/5/9) all had a wonderful time. Highly recommended for any family wanting to try out camping without having to buy a load of kit upfront. Exclusive use of the fun park and junior farm outside of normal hours is a welcome addition. A whole range of activities were scheduled too from getting the animals ready for bed to feeding them breakfast in the morning to a circus skills workshop and evening performance. The new maize maze, foam party and sunflower meadow are really nice new additions for this summer as well. We're already looking to go back again for campin next year!

We had the best weekend, I wasn’t sure camping would be for us, but we had a fantastic time at Wroxham Barns camp site the facilities where superb and the staff were friendly and very helpful and there was so much for the kids to do from foam party’s to feeding the animals to the fun park and the maize maze the children where never board,

Worth a visit. Great for children if you don't mind the price tag. Lots of places to sit and eat as a family, rides and so much more. Inspirational shops from house art, sowing, flowers and crafts. Take your own food.

Great place for a day out.Get wrapped up though.Kids really enjoyed it .Petting animals rabbits guinea pigs.Ponies don keys pigs goats alpacas.Lovely cafe with plenty of food to choose from.Sausage rolls and scones were lovely. Lovely gift shops.kids really loved picking and carving their pumpkins.I'd definitely return again.

We've had a lovely day sauntering around the craft shops looking at the beautiful products on sale. We bought some lovely Norfolk apple juice. A gift for my granddaughter and a beautiful jacket for myself. The only downside was a number of the shops were closed. There is lots of free parking. Toilets are clean and accessible. Dogs are allowed in some areas and there were plenty of dog drinking bowls dotted around. We ate scones, toasted teacake, flapjack and drank tea for two from the cafe and sat outside in the sunshine. You could take a picnic if you wanted. There is a fun park with rides for little ones and a farm (we didn't go into these facilities) it wasn't busy (end of September) we would recommend this to families with younger children.

Wroxham Barns has stood since the '89s, thriving under superb management. It's impressive to witness its enduring vitality, hosting well-organized events that offer excellent value. Situated in Hoveton a great location easy to get to from Norwich. Nice to see Ian is still there at the helm…😁

We had coffee and scones, all very nice the coffee was excellent! Our visit was fairly early and the restaurant area was very cold. From experience normally fine in summer. The food at meal times outstanding.

Wonderful family day out. We booked online for the Junior farm and fun park. £6.50 per adult and £6.50 ( 2 years and older) £3.50 for 1 Year old ticket There was a lovely confectionery shop that had really tasty Rum and Raise fudge, the coffee from the cafe was top notch lovely fresh Americano. We were able to order pet feed online and we fed goats, sheep(of all different breeds) and alpacas. There are plenty of sessions throughout the day, we managed to be able to stroke Guinea Pigs, my photos have a list of events throughout the day. There is a brilliant park with loads of fun attractions and rides that are common to a theme park but they are all included in your admission. Staff are really helpful and nice there is a large array of local shops to buy things in and there is a mini golf course here too. The cafe has outdoor heated seating which is very spacious and clean The toilets were clean and spacious with baby changing available. The car park is spacious and it is very easy to find on Google maps! SO MUCH TO DO I could have stayed all day. You can camp here too.

Went on the vintage broadsman with Mat and Mel, fabulous hosts, both of them were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome before we had even stepped onto the boat. We were on a 1.5 hour tour and were entertained the whole way. The trip was very informative and interesting, as the guides talk to you over speaker about the history of the broads and more. I’d say boat seats about 40 people on the upper deck. There are toilets on board towards the back of the boat, and a bar downstairs. The top deck is fully open so it makes a lovely place to sit on a warm sunny day. On the second half of the trip you get a chance to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature after the speaker is turned off. Would be enjoyable for kids of all ages. Pets are allowed on board, so this really proves the whole family can get involved. Had a lovely time, will hopefully be visiting again! ☺️

We must of timed this perfectly as the weather cleared up and it wasn't too busy at all. The staff are absolutely fanastic and knowledgable. Really welcoming and engaging. The cruise itself was lovely, the staff gave a little talk on the way out and then stayed quiet on the way back. It was perfect. We boarded the queen's and it was lovely and clean and you could see plenty. Would do it again and worth the money!! Can't wait to book a jazz evening next year!

We hired an electric day boat for the morning. Such a great crew of workers - a cheerful welcome, patient explanation of the safety rules and a warm greeting when we arrived back. I can't think of a better way to explore the peace and tranquility of the Norfolk Broads than a morning on one of these spotlessly clean boats. The motor is so quiet that it barely interrupts the natural landscape of local birdsong. We saw a variety of bird life on our journey. A highly recommended activity, especially from early morning out of season.

A very gentle 90 minutes along the river, around a broad or two and back. Good commentary along the way pointing out some of the sites. Plenty of chance to see things. We were upstairs on the open sided deck. Benches are padded but still quite hard. Useful to bring a cushion!

Big shout out to Broad Tours for having a wheelchair-friendly day boat for hire. We took it out for a full day in August 2022. The boat has a lift and ramp for a wheelchair user and still has room for the others to sit comfortably and move around. Special mention to Will for helping us to board and Andrew at the end of the day. The company were really friendly and helpful. Perfect weather for a day up the Broads.

I can only endorse the majority of other reviews. What a wonderful way to spend 1.5hrs on the Broads - with huge thanks to the staff; Christopher and Fiona, on the Queen of the Broads for their first class service and very warm friendly welcome, helpfulness and knowledge of the Broads, its wildlife and way of life. A party of 5, we took our 87 year old mother in her wheelchair and our 2 year old grandson - all were treated with the best of consideration for their individual needs. Our grandson hasn't stopped talking about the boat and all the animals he saw on the water. The vessel is spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable with all seats providing a great view of the Broads. Christopher's commentary is excellent and a good balance of information and light hearted banter. Whilst assisting my mother with the wheelchair lift, Fiona said she has the best job in the world - and that was clear to see. On board refreshments are more than adequate for a 90 min trip. The whole trip was excellent value for money- highly recommended and we will definitely go again next year when we return. There is only space on board for 2 wheelchairs and no buggies- clearly signposted on website so just make sure you pre-book and arrive in plenty of time to board. Car parking is plentiful close by but can be very busy especially in holiday season or good weather. Thank you again to Christopher and Fiona for a lovely trip.

We went today on the queen of the boards and had an amazing time, a really good way to see lots of wildlife, including Heron's and King Fisher's. We had a wheelchair on board, and it was really easy to get on and off the boat. We had a party of 5 adults, and it came to £77.50, a little pricey, but well worth the money. This is an absolute must when wanting to go on a boat trip when in Wroxham. Big shout out to Mel and Chris, really nice people, really informative, helpful, and entertaining.

Lovely your place. There is multiple options such as rent your own boat or you can take a river cruise Toby and (sorry forgot the skippers name) were excellent and it was lovely seeing the broads while having a pint on board. Would definitely do it again Now if only I could win the lottery to pay for one of these houses

An absolute must! We went out on the Queen boat and it was amazing. Matt and Mel were great at looking after us all. Matt was the captain and he was very informative and comical. We learnt loads. Mel was front of house and she was so welcoming and accommodating to any needs. The bar was well stocked and reasonable priced. The seats were comfortable with plenty of choice and the boat was spotless. The journey was beautiful and so much history about the area. It was great to see some of the wildlife too. Plenty of parking on site with a small cost (paid by the hour). Toilets were easily accessible and clean. Overall I would 100% recommend. Thank you for a great experience.

Great way to see the Norfolk broards. Nice hour and a half on the water, however seats were somewhat uncomfortable but service was OK. Boat commentary was somewhat informative, however kind of lost its impact being read from a script. Needed to be a bit more natural. Worth it tho.

A lovely way to spend 90 minutes- the live commentary was excellent and the views stunning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The boat was spacious enough to hold many people with excellent vision from the seats.

Really enjoyed this. Chris was our skipper and he was great, so much knowledge shared in a friendly informative way. Plenty to see on a gentle trip. We took the hour tour but loved it so much will have to do the 90 minute version another time. Spotted a heron and kingfisher - no otters this time.

Excellent river tour on a comfortable boat with interesting commentary. Easy parking at pay+display and jumped straight on the next boat leaving. The 90 minute tour was the perfect length to see many of the local broads and the interesting riverside properties. Lots of interesting information about the local area and wildlife. Overtaking the large classic sailing boats on the narrow river was a particular highlight, as was the expect docking on return. Definitely recommend.

An enjoyable afternoon. The boat was spotless and the crew very helpful. The captain kept us all amused and informed with his interesting commentary and his obvious love of the Broads. Drinks and snacks were served in the bar by a very pleasant lady who also chatted and made sure everyone was comfortable. We were on board with our two dogs, who also seemed to enjoy the trip. Highly recommended 😊

My son absolutely loved the pirate cruise being pirate mad! The boat was well decorated and the staff were and super friendly and got straight into character. The kids were kept entertained throughout with an activity pack, treasure hunt and pirate music. We'll definitely come back!

We really enjoyed the boat tour and commentary by Matt I think. Very informative and humorous. Nice boat, enjoyed a drink & snack from bar which well priced. Lovely crew especially the lovely lady that brought a blanket for our little dog Maisie so she could also look out the window.

As always excellent timon the river. Been doing this for over 50 years with Grandparents Parents Godchildren and Friends. Matt and Mel were brilliant crew. Familiar commentary with own twist and well delivered. Mel made sure all were good and fine. Relaxing and wonderful time as usual.

Absolutely fabulous day trip, from the well thought out boat layout, incredibly well delivered and interesting commentary to, most importantly, the bar! Our skipper was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and used that to make sure we saw the best of the wildlife. All of the staff were helpful and friendly!

5 stars! I cannot fault this wonderful tour. Ollie and Tracey were wonderful hosts and added humour to their great knowledge of the Broads. So much wildlife to see and history to learn. I took two small dogs who were welcomed on board, this really made a difference to me as I was holidaying alone and needed experiences I could enjoy with them. They also seemed to enjoy the experience. Just note the parking machine is card only and not cash too.

My wife and I have been boating with Barnes Brinkcraft now since 1991. We have been made to feel very welcome on every visit now and as regular customers we receive a welcome hamper to start the holiday with. We have hired many styles now from sports cruisers, dual steer, centre steer and as the family has grown away we have just had a single level craft again. This boat was smaller and could clear most bridges allowing us to reach further on the rivers. It was also an Elite craft with all the extras on it. We had this boat for eleven days and thoroughly enjoyed our time on her. George & Sandra

Stayed at the jib sail for a week with a beautiful view from Balcony across the marina. Excellent accommodation everything you need for a stay. Plus free use of a Barnes Brinklet boat for the entire week. Best of both worlds. Staff very polite and helpful. Very professional throughout. Can't wait to go back.

Geat prices and range of days boats for hire. Dog friendly. Staff were friendly and explained things well. We arrived a little bit early but this was no issue. Will definitely be using again next time.

Lovely spot to start and finish a holiday. You will start in the busy little boat yard of Wroxham but within minutes be out in the middle of nowhere mooring up to enjoy the countryside. Staff were great and the boat perfect for a families needs. Would recommend.

Fantastic day on the broads. Really beautiful scenery and great fun. A day doing something different was just what the doctor ordered and it will live in the memory for many years. The guy that greeted us and showed us how to operate the boat was extremely pleasant, jovial and friendly. Worth the money for a half day and would recommend it. Nice company, friendly staff. We booked Lullaby 1 for the week. Bed's were comfortable, though the toilet in the rear cabin is a challenge for men. Kitchen in the isle is a pain for others trying to get from front to back, and vice versa, while others are cooking. I've been on the Broads now 5 times, and only our first boat had it's own kitchen area. It was dated, with no bow thrusters, and manual bow weight.

Customer care excellent with very helpful and personable staff. With hindsight, a roomier boat with easier access for four people would have made our experience even better. Thank you and we will be back!

Great boat and service. We had an issue with a battery and it only took 40 mins from the call to fixed and sailing off. What more can you ask. Will book again on another of the Elite fleet.

Wifi needs improvement as almost non existent. Location is fab near to Wroxham and waterways. Very comfortable beds and super showers, Spare pillows and better towels would be nice. For six people the freezer is far too small and a bigger fridge freezer would be brilliant. The welcome pack was a nice touch and appreciated thank you.

Second time I've stayed here in January. Both times has been with groups of 8 to 9 people, once with a large dog. It is a great venue, the staff are friendly, the residences are spotless, the welcome gift has been greatly appreciated and the fact there is a day boat as well has left us with fantastic memories.

I have recently returned from a 7 day boat holiday, booked through barnesbrinkcraft, boat was excellent, customer service great and had no issues at all. It was our first time on a boat on the Norfolk Broads and we will definitely be back to enjoy again. Thank you Barnesbrinkcraft fully enjoyed our stay

Our day trip with Barnes Brinkcraft was superb. From start to finish they were excellent and so was the boat. We managed to get a little lost towards the end and were a little late back but the staff were fantastic, they called us to check we were ok and even gave us some directions. We will definitely be back and we will definitely be using Barnes Brinkcraft.

The holiday was for my 20 year old son and myself (66 years old). The boat was presented well and was clean and well equipped. The two stateroom cabins were en-suite and the living area had a slide back canopy which made it very nice. The kitchen area worked well and it had a hob a microwave a kettle and toaster. These worked without shore power when stopped or when cruising. Pick up and return was smooth and friendly. All in all a super holiday.

This place was good fun to spend a few hours on holiday. Most layouts were pretty decent and had a good amount of detail especially the Japanese layout which had some very good details and fab trains. The penny arcade was good fun too. There was a decent amount of interactive stuff but a little more would be nice. The only down side was there seemed to be some what a lack of detail and station details on the larger British layout. Don't know whether this was due to it being a new feature but it was quite bare. Overall it was a good place to visit and I would probably recommend to anyone thinking about coming although the admissions were a little on the pricey side but it was worth it.

Fab little place. Staff were friendly and helpful and the exhibitions really interesting. We loved the old toy section and the old fashioned arcade. You could spend a long time just taking it all in and spotting new tiny details. A lot of thought and time has gone into each "world".

Interesting but more of a model railway centre than anything else. Probably more money than I would have paid to get in had I known a bit more of the set up. Also, once you have paid, there are quite a lot of extra things to pay for inside like slot machines. One thing to be aware of, we visited after getting a leaflet in a shop in Wroxham which stated under 5s free - when we got there this has been changed to under 4s free. Was given the information that the leaflet was old but as we'd got there with the kids we ended up paying a lot more than expected. Not somewhere I would recommend unless you are very into trains.

For lack of a better word... this place was Bob. Such a disappointing experience, many of the exhibits weren't working and lacked any detail just vehcikes and tracks with little scenery or thought that had gone into them. It's a safe bet for a rainy day if you have little ones but for adults I wouldn't waste your time. We struggled to make it last for 2 hrs. There was an old arcade but most of these didn't work properly and just stole your money... It was grossly overpriced for what was there even with the £1 discount on the website.

Nice enough place. Kids enjoyed it. Isn't huge, we had hour there and couldn't have spent any longer really. They have a cafe. I think it was a bit pricey for what is was but what it was was okay

We were stuck for somewhere to go with a three year old, on a very wet and stormy day. The Three year old loved it and didn't wish to leave. There is attention paid to entertaining all age groups from three to one hundred and three. Please check opening times as at the time of visiting it was closed on one of the other weekdays.

Such a nice place to walk around. The staff were friendly. Loved the old coin machines. It took about 1hr 30mins to walk around!

I visited with my two grandchildren who are 5 and 8 years old. They absolutely loved it as did I! So much to see and lots of hands on fun. I thoroughly recommend it for both adults and children. The cafe and gifts were both reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

An enjoyable afternoon was spent here. They have many impressive train sets plus large Lego and Star Wars toy collections. Probably too much money was spent in their retro penny arcade too! At 12 coins for a pound your money doesn't last long. For the entrance cost a good amount of fun was had here. It doesn't get the full five stars however because some of the exhibits looked like they needed a bit of repair and some of the showcases for toys were poorly lit, meaning you couldn't properly enjoy what they contained. Still, an enjoyable day out and an obvious choice for any train set fans in your family.

This is an absolute must go to see, I recommend the quiz going round to, great touch, you look more in-depth at all the models, to see the amazing designs. Flight simulators and old computer games too. Great value for money. But don't forget to have a coffee and cake before leaving. The staff are so welcoming. Kids are able to collect a stall to carry around so they can see the models better,

Great models, railways, miniatures, old toys and games, and an old penny arcade. Quite alot to see and interact with, great model dioramas, well worth a visit!

Great place! Not just lots of expansive and complex model train layouts (which run more reliably than Miniature Wunderland in Hamburg 😉) but Victorian to 80s arcade, a massive Scaletrix set, PCs running train and flight simulators... Spent a lovely time there (thanks to Robert and Louise for their help).

More to see here than we expected. A variety of model railways in different scales and nationalities. A range of historic models and toys added some additional interest and the old fashioned slot machines were fun.

Hired a picnic boat the first week of May for a day. The boat was lovely, two lads working that day were really nice. Had the boat 9-4, there was a small hob, kettle & wc, fantastic. The boat was spotless & looked like it was pretty new, first time we had upgraded to a picnic boat & we were impressed and will hire again. Would highly recommend, if you want a more relaxing day on the fabulous broads.

Hired a 12 seater day boat for the whole day (9 to 4pm). It was a lovely trip with the whole family and friends enjoying it. We turned left out of the boat yard and the river was busy at times. We stopped off for a coffee at The Swan Inn in Horning. Near to the Swan a warning sound and light started. We called the Richardson reception and they arrived to resolve the issue by topping up the coolant. This is the only reason I rated as a 4 and not a 5. The guys were very helpful and we were told we could arrive back later than 4pm with no additional charge. We went to Ranworth Broad to have lunch at The Malsters which was nice then headed back. As we had a little extra time we went under the bridge at Wroxham / Hoveton. This was a much quieter and scenic route. We had a great day and would highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic day out on the Broads. We got the 8 seater day boat and enjoyed it thoroughly. Actually there was what you might called a near miss as we did a tight turning into the final return stretch of the broad, as the boat coming out was doing fairly 'quick speed', had come into our ' lane' and my son rapid reaction prevented a minor collision. Anyway all good in the end. Might do it again...

Very nice bunch of guy's, very helpful. Nice and easy to find, good place to leave the car. Boats are clean and tidy. Would go back again. Definitely.

A brilliant way to relax in fresh air. Would highly recommend it for a day. Exploring the Broads is amazing and make sure you allow everyone a go steering the boat. This was our second time and we will definitely, be back to explore new routes in the future. Take blankets if it gets chilly!

We rented a self drive day boat from Richardsons and had a very enjoyable trip on the river. Jason, who dealt with our booking, was very pleasant and helpful. We were also fortunate to be able to park our car in their car park.

It is always a fantastic experience for the family. Staff are always helpful. Great selection of craft for all your needs, and you even get free parking thrown in. Hope to see you again soon, guys. Maybe for our next holiday

What a lovely place to be! Had most fun at Richardson’s Day Boat Hire today, the staff are great and very polite, the boats are a dream… little trip down the river, probably the most relaxing thing we’ve done in ages. I must say, we were very worried if we can drive the boat ourselves, but after a short training from one of the staff members we really enjoyed and realised it’s easier than riding a bike, the views are fantastic also. Thanks to Greg we had a lovely day and we will return soon with family and friends for a longer trip!

Great fun! We were looking for a spontaneous hire for a day trip on the Broads and Richardson's were one of 3 Google suggestions. The staff were helpful and we took a 5-hour rental in an electric boat (environmentally friendly and all!). It's a really easy thing to do, even with no prior experience! If it's your first time, there are a few places to moor up for lunch or coffee (busier in Summer so moorings might be limited) - 4 hours will get you 1,5h each way and an hour for lunch.

We hired two great electric bikes! Peter is extremely knowledgeable of the local area and provided great maps and advice on where to go. He was also helpful in getting us geared up with pannier bags, lock and gel saddles for extra comfort! I can highly recommend. Some great pubs to stop off around the area and fantastic quite single track lanes.

Great bikes in excellent condition. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful, providing maps and advice on a route around the Broads and a pub lunch. Helmets, locks and repair kit also provided free of charge. Fantastic bike hire company.

We hired two very nice E assist bikes off this business and enjoyed three days cycling on the Rebellion Way - the business owner Peter delivered the bikes to our accomodation with helmets, panniers and basic bike fix gear - the batteries lasted us all day - nearly 100km on one run. Totally recommend this business and the experience of cycling on the Norfolk Broads.

Me and my partner hired two bikes and a baby seat for our son. The owner was friendly, helpful and happy to help with anything. He made sure the bikes were the correct height and fitted us with everything we needed. The bikes were high quality and lovely to ride. He gave us a map, helped with directions and actually how far away we wanted to ride and we were off! We cycled to Coltishall, it was sll scenic country lanes which felt much safer than the busy roads. We did end up getting back 15 minutes late due to getting a little lost on the way home but luckily the owner had his mobile number we could call and we locked thighly he bikes under the shed. Highly recommend for a day out

A great experience. We arrived unannounced, but the team got us on four bikes and off along the railway line to Buxton straight away. Provided a map, bike tools and helmets. Had four great hours on four great Raleigh bikes. Highly recommended.

Great location, you can choose to either head into the busier section to see the houses etc or just paddle up stream to see the beautiful scenery. I can't remember her name, but the lady that helped us on the day was really helpful and welcoming. We paid a little bit more than a couple of other places but the flexibility on time and service made it worthwhile.

A superb experience. Due to an 'administrative error' (ahem) on my side, they very kindly agreed to adjust the booking at very short notice on probably one of the busiest weekends of the summer. The canoes were beautiful, the scenery stunning, and the customer service second-to-none. A credit to the Broads.

Booked online it cost £60 for two 2 person canoes. Found them easy to use and life vests, paddles and a dry bag all supplied. We had 2 hours of peace and tranquility on the Broads before returning to Wroxham to return the canoes and a well deserved pint at the pub next to the river. There was a guy there from thecanoeman and he was great most helpful and a lovely guy. Well recommended I will go again myself in the future.

I don't like giving bad reviews, in fact this may be my first. I booked a 2 hour session with a dual sit on kayak for my daughter and myself. When we arrived there was nobody to be found. There was a 2 seat kayak there but with no indication that it was ours. The Kayak also had 2 canoe paddles with it. To check I called the contact number and the canoe man called me back and agreed it was a bit strange. We swapped the 2 canoe paddles for 2 kayak paddles after getting entry to the locked shed - still no staff there. We launched the canoe as described and set off. After a few hundred meters we were asking ourselves how anybody could actually enjoy this. Then I noticed that the seats didn't seem to be fitted correctly. On mine the top fixing actually went backwards. Having an engineering degree this seemed a little strange - new it would come in handy someday. We managed to pull over and found that not only were some of the supports attached the wrong way but on both seats they were not adjusted correctly. After installing the seats correctly it started to be a lot better with back support and not being in an almost lying position. The kayak now seemed a lot more stable. After setting off again and wondering why we seemed to be tending to turn all of the time we found that the angles of the paddles were different between my daughters one piece paddle and my 2 piece. After adjusting mine to another hole things worked at even the next level. So now as complete novices we had worked out how to set up the kayak correctly but it was time to take it back. I would really have expected the seats and paddles to be checked to ensure correct by the experts, (surely incorrectly fixed seats are a safety issue?) , especially at this price.

A very pleasant 2 days, including a night in their "wildwood" camp site, was unfortunately ruined by the owner deciding to retain our £200 security deposit. This was because a member of our group went for a pee in a field (surrounded by cows who were also having quite copious wees, although they were presumably also fined by the canoeman) mid route, witnessed from some distance by a particularly petty local. Our attempts to reason with the owner - for of course, he did not provide any loos on route for this 2-day kayak - fell on deaf ears. Originally we thought we would laugh it off but over time the injustice - the canoeman making £200 of our hard-earned money because of so silly an incident - has rankled and we have opened a complaint with the Broads Authority and trading standards. So whilst I would recommend them as an operator, certainly do not give them any of your money until the trip is over - because they will not behave fairly or reasonably if you need the loo!

We had a wonderful time hiring a Canoe at Wroxham. We booked on the day, and they accommodated us quickly with everything we needed. The equipment was great and the scenery was stunning. Next time we're in the Broads we'll definitely be hiring from The Canoe Man again.

This was a lovely experience on the Queen of the Broads out of Wroxham. Good car park right beside Broad Tours at 1.20ph Double decker vessel covered in case of rain and 2 hour trip with I hour knowledgeable commentary from the skipper. Highly recommended if you're in Norfolk and fancy cruising the Broads. Reasonable pricing at around £15 per head

Great day out. First time hiring a boat will certainly not be the last. We were able to bring our dog aswell. We had 3 hours but we wish we booked more. Boat was a good size for 2 would of fit more. Friendly staff. Parking available

A great way to explore the broads on a small boat. Our one was modified to allow wheelchair access via a hydraulic lift and ramp. Though we didn't have anyone with one, we had an elderly person with us who couldn't have got on the boat without it! This does limit the passenger size down from 8 to 5 so bare in mind if you book one of these There were plenty of standard 8 passenger boats available. The only downside was that the boat was very noisy and if you were driving, you could hardly hear anyone else on the boat. My ears were ringing afterwards. But beyond that, it was wonderful to tour the local broads at your own leisurely pace.

Very enjoyable 3 hour boat hire

Really happy with the service from the lads here, they were all great. They even spotted my sun glasses I left in the boat, and chased after me. The diesel boat isn't as load as you might expect. I only did 2 hours and loved it.

Fantastic place for a family stay. The character of the house and history of the estate shine through. Yes some quirky areas and some cleaning up/decorating needed but on the whole we enjoyed our stay and will look to return.

Excellent garden railway, with museum and friendly staff. I got the electric boat from next to Wroxham bridge.

Great couple of hours spent playing trains! My engine mad boys had such a great time. They drove a train, had a ride on a 3.5inch guage mini railway and then a ride down to the river Bure on another mini railway. The boys also enjoyed having a play with the model railway set up with Thomas and Percy circling the track. Prices were very reasonable and just right for small boys!

Perfect little gem of a place

Fabulous place. I had no idea before I visited just how much was there. Trains run in two directions, ticket office, bridge over the railway, and wherries at the waterside. Fun afternoon, and a lovely family atmosphere.

Fantastic place to visit with the kids and an added bonus you can get there by boat. Plus the cakes on offer are delicious.

Another beautiful meal. We've been coming to Bure River Cottage since our children were born and our eldest is about to turn 13. Everything from the homemade bread to the chocolate pot was mouthwatering. Smoked mackerel pate, cod goujons, anchovies and grilled seabass and vegetables were just delicious Very attentive and polite waiting staff also. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit already but this time with our girls again. An absolute gem set by the beautiful Broads

Had our 31st wedding anniversary dinner here last night and it didn’t disappoint! The food was lovely, freshly cooked and stayed hot too. We both had the cod . Lots of choices on the menu, service was quick and staff knowledgeable. Our first visit here and we’ll definitely be back soon I hope .

Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was great. The fish as expected very good and well cooked. Portion size was large Vegetables were exceptionally well cooked and presented.

Nice food, we both had the Skate wing, and the chocolate pot desert with salted caramel ice cream was delicious. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic restaurant only serving fish. Our food was absolutely lovely, perfectly cooked. Great wine and nothing was over priced. I should also add that the vegetables were superb with a really nice cauliflower puree. Looking forward to our next visit.

My family visited Bure River Cottage for a Father's Day treat after walking past it multiple times. We had three courses, all delicious. Everything was cooked very well and with excellent flavours. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. One of the best meals I've had in a long time, would highly recommend!

This is a great fish restaurant in a beautiful place on the Norfolk Broads. It's very popular so it's usually necessary to book in advance but out of season walk-in is possible. It genuinely only serves fish- no meat or vegetarian option that I could see. Service was efficient attentive and good. The food itself was really nicely done. The flavours are quite delicate rather than being hearty. Don't expect a battered fish or fish stew option. (Based on the menu we saw and food we had) We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Love Love Love!! The food is just incredible and the staff were very attentive. We had mussels, crab, sea bream and halibut for starters and mains and just about squeezed in a panna cotta and brownie for dessert, each was delicious. We’ll be back again that is for certain.

Awesome! Excellent seafood, service and atmosphere…the baked Cromer crab, & anchovies (starters), lobster and sea-bass were outstanding! Deserts were great as well!

Excellent seafood restaurant. Small and popular so do book ahead even out of season. The menu is on a large blackboard that gets carted around the restaurant and presented to each table as they order. I went for local seafood, dressed Cromer Crab (with proper mayonnaise) followed by lobster, both excellent, but there were a wide range of fish and seafood choices to keep all of our group happy. Cozy atmosphere and very good service, so would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on board the Queen of the Broads to visit the area and learn about the Broads. Our captain was knowledgeable and shared sightings of an otter, kingfisher and other local water birds of the area. There's bar service available downstairs, too. A nice visit!

8th visit to NBD in the last 10 years and by far the worst. Having taken fair chancellor for the second time in three years i was very disappointed, on day 1 the smell from the toilets venting was awful, between 5 and 6 mph the boat was vibrating badly, the doors would rattle so we were having to jam kitchen roll between the frame to cure the problem, and on top of all that you no longer get reimbursed for any fuel you haven't used after they refill the boat on return.

Stopped off in Wroxham for a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads. Wroxham we found out is almost completely owned by Roy 😆, nearly every commercial building in the shopping area is displayed as Roy's, not that it's a bad thing as we found two presents for the Grand children's birthdays. Wroxham is a lively village/town and clean. The boat trip 2hrs on the Bell of the broads was excellent and well worth the £15 each as the sights of the waterside village of Wroxham and further into the Broads Being kept informed by the skipper over tannoid about the natural history and wild life along the way was first rate and this gives you exactly what you expect the Broads to be. I can only highly recommend a visit to Wroxham on the Broads.

What a fantastic boat and boatyard the staff I saw on 24th march 2024 were fantastic the 2 ladies on reception and Ben in arrivals went beyond what they had to do for us I been going to broads for 50 years and that was the best I ever experienced from a boatyard would give them more than 5 star

Amazing, we hired a boat for 3 hours and was fantastic. Both first time boat drivers and wow was amazing! Very easy to control and a very enjoyable trip out for the afternoon. Very clear instructions.

We have been boating for many years with various companies. Love the all inclusive pricing, love the way they organize pick up to get you away as early as possible. Condition of boat was good Downsides;.Boat's sliding canopy was very poor fit, half inch gap along , even in May meant we used towels to block draughts. We had paid £40 extra to take a dog, when I called to say he had died and we wouldn't be bringing one, it seems a bit harsh that they wouldn't refund the cleaning fee.

If you want to visit the Norfolk Broads then I highly recommend you book through NBD. Staff are wonderful, boats are superb, clean and tidy.

Stayed in a few of their cottages over the years. Always impeccably clean, lovely furniture and this year we've seen a makeover to cottage 1, with a new kitchen, new soft furnishings, new bedroom furniture and wood flooring now throughout the downstairs. On my first visit I commented that a cupboard with sharp knives in was not ideal with our inquisitive toddler about! We moved the knives then so it wasn't really an issue, but in the makeover the kitchen now sports a drawer unit. Absolutely wonderful cottages, in the heart of wroxham and with the Broads tours arm of the company at the end of the row of cottages adding some boating to your holiday cannot be easier!

Last minute booking with them for the bank holiday weekend after our Thames trip was cancelled a day before we were due to leave! Can't fault them. Would certainly book with them again.

4 nights aboard the Fair Emperor 2 with 8 people and 2 dogs in October. We motored from Wroxham to Great Yarmouth and back. They gave us a Broads Map when we arrived, which was invaluable. Only thing was a large storm the week before added to the water level (combined with spring tides and low pressure) so the max height marker at Ludham Bridge was reading 7' - but that's not NBDs fault! We found it essentially impossible to get the high/low tide times.

We had a good visit. Boat was lovely and the skipper was very knowledgeable. The only thing that wasn't great were 2 very big dogs and the barking and the kids started losing interest and the ride was 2 hours long!

The Norfolk Broads is a fun place for family and friends. We got on the Cordon Rouge for 2hrs. It was a wonderful view, my daughter and parents enjoyed it so much. You can also rent a boat but my mum was paranoid about me being the el-Capitan:) Tip: check the weather forecast before booking your trip as it can be windy and chilly on a very cloudy day. I highly recommend you visit at least once but... go with company

We had a great holiday using NBD. Staff were very professional and helpful and gave us a good training session on the boat before we set off. The boat was spacious and in good condition. NBD also provided a great welcome pack coverng local guides and suggested stops on the way.

Always a great day/night out at Wroxham FC. Such a friendly place, a team that plays good football and a nice clubhouse to get a drink and/or something to eat.

For a small football club, this grounds has all the facilities it needs. With plenty of standing, an under cover standing area and an undercover seated area. A lovely bar selling everything you'd expect, as well as a little burger stand on match days. The clubhouse also has free to use toilets. Prices very reasonable at £7 for an adult. Limited parking on a grass field, enough for what you'd need at a small club.

Fireworks were good. Some vendors didn't accept card even though advertising said card was accepted. Would of taken cash but was reassured by the advertising unfortunately

Home of Wroxham Ladies Football Team. Small but well equipped ground, bar, tea, coffee, burgers and chips (assorted pie's and chocolates readily available. Toilets clean and serviceable. Good and friendly atmosphere (even when they lose). Lots of free parking.
