We hiked up the Jardin exotique with a 2 year old and a super heavy 30lb 7 month old baby plus our stroller. It took us forever since the 2 year old took a long time to go up the stairs but the view was well worth it. The cactus and plants was nice and added to our gorgeous photos but the view up high was just unbeatable. The very top had the best view and there are benches where people can have food. Trash cans are abundant. Gorgeous probably 300 days out of the year. Hey, if a 2 year old can hike this, then any one can. Just keep going up up up. Little kids are free but they have to beep in with their free enfant ticket. Adults are 6 euros each. Cards accepted. Highly recommended.

Situated in the beautiful town of Eze, Interesting tour, great selection of scents, great value especially for the parfums...

I was really impressed by the visit of this prestigious perfume factory. The selection and the quality of their boutique is simply stunning, I would had bought half of the shop, definitely the best fragrances and body products I've ever tried in my life. Strongly recommended....

Had a wonderful experience with hands-on experience in making Perfume at Fragonard. It was a pity that we had to leave right after the perfume making to catch our bus. We will have to do the tour of the factory in Grasse. This place have the most knowledgeable guide who expresses well in English. Will recommend that you complete the tour if you can! I learnt that it’s not easy being a ‘Nose’, there were fun activities like matching the scent to the flowers! I think both children and adult will definitely enjoy this place! Must have experience when in Eze! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Eze Factory, particularly thanks to Hong Bo. She was incredibly kind and provided us with an excellent tour of the factory, teaching us how to create our own perfume. We gained valuable insights into Fragonard's history and the perfume-making process. I highly recommend a visit to the Eze Factory, especially if you're a Chinese speaker and can seek out Bo for an enhanced experience.

I was impressed with this stop. The tour to parfume factory was short and sweet. The factory staff are friendly to introduce us their process and products. I bought one small parfume and it really perform very well.

They offer lovely, free tours at this French institution renowned for its perfumes, colognes, soaps and cosmetics. Plus the views of the Mediterranean from the parking lot are spectacular!

This is always my favorite place to visit when in Nice. The only downside was the English tour wasn't available when we went. There is a gap in the schedule and we had to wait till 2:30pm for the English tours to start. We got there at 10am and couldn't wait that long. So we just bought some ducks. It would be great if the English tours were more frequent.

During our day trip, we had the opportunity to visit Fragonard. While it had a sales-oriented vibe, the experience proved to be captivating nonetheless. We had the chance to witness the meticulous process of crafting fragrances and skincare products, which was quite intriguing. Additionally, the premises housed an expansive retail shop. Our guide conducted themselves with professionalism, and their intellect shone through during the tour.

A good learning experience of Perfume making in detail. To make 1 litre of Rose perfume, it takes 3500 kg of Rose petals. Mind boggling, isn't it?They sell at factory prices with good discounts too. Enjoyed the experience.

Actually we stopped by this perfume factory in a travel group, it is good to get to know some thing about how perfumes are made, and we bought some gifts here at lower price than the stores outside this factory. But we stayed here for too long, I think the time here can be cut back a bit for visiting other attractions.

Visited Fragonard as part of a day trip. It was more of a salesy thing but was an interesting experience nevertheless; we got to see how the fragrances and skin care products were made. There was a huge retail shop inside as well. Guide was professional though seemed very nervous. The perfumes didn’t last long on me, but smelled delicious regardless.

Cute facility! Stopped on in for a free tour of their factory and learned all about the process of how they make they perfumes and the history behind it. Our tour guide was so lovely and knowledgeable, and you could tell she definitely knew what she was talking about! She let us sample many of their perfumes and we obviously left with a bag full of goodies. If you buy it at this facility the prices are cheaper than they would be at their other shops!

Very nice experience, especially for people who like scents. The information on the cultivation and preparation of the narcissus flower was interesting. The tour is small and they mostly try to sell their products but the scents were very lovely to sample. Very interesting combinations.

Did a tour of the facility, and the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The range that was being advertised at the end of the tour was a bit pricy, but luckily, they had other products available on sale...was able to get some for as low as 20 euros. I'm not a fan of the current fragrance of the year (Narcissus), but there are loads of other scents and bath products available that could be more appealing. Please note: This is a heavily scented/fragranced facility and can easily overwhelm the senses.

Incredible view. Incredible atmosphere. Feels, like you moved 300 years ago. And when you climb - this feeling continues. BUT: - Wear appropriate shoes. Route has lots of uncovered areas. - Take water - Keep in mind, that climbing takes about 40-60 mins. There is not a lot of places to seat. But there are enough shadow. - If you are going with old people, consider taking car to get up. And descend by foot.

A nice medium difficulty hike up to the Eze village with stunning views. It takes around an hour to get to the top. Have at least 500ml of water per adult, better 1 liter. There is a small part of the path which is slippery due to a small current flowing from the top.

Absolutely beautiful hike with stunning views. If you go down like we did from the village, I think it would be much easier than going uphill. And when going downhill, you get to look out over the Mediterranean for the whole hike and have an amazing view.

A great walk but it’s a steep one. 135 floors worth of climbing. One hour up if you’re fit/young and 35 minutes down. Decent trainers will be okay in the dry but the rocks are worn smooth in places. You’ll need a water bottle. Eze is worth the climb.

Very beautiful path and views up from the Eze train station/ beach to the medieval Village (and down the other way around)! Took about an hour from me to climb up to the village. Not for small children, elderly people or people in bad physical shape. If its hot and sunny, a water bottle or two is a must. Good shoes (e.g. running shoes) recommended as the path is rocky. Most people will find coming down way easier and faster (approx. 40-45 min) than climbing up. Nevertheless, descending may be difficult and painful for people with knee injuries as they will be strained a lot.

Beautiful, and moderately challenging hike on a rocky path with many steps. If you're looking to get nice pictures of yourself in Eze I'd advise getting the bus to Eze and walking down the path, not up it. If you want some good exercise and an incredible reward for your sweat, walk up

Great trail to break a sweat. Bring good shoes and water. Understand you will want to look your best for the village of Eze, but it's not worth being uncomfortable as this is not an easy hike. Takes about 45 minutes without breaks and includes lots of loose rocks and steps. There is a path that cuts to the right after you pass the house near the top (you can't miss it). There is a nice waterfall to check out and cool off with.

Before my day trip to Eze I was reading some advice on what to do and how :). I like to treasure advices but usually I like to take my ownway :) and make it unique. I left Antibes by train towards Eze Gare and I let myself lead by instinct and well ooo my :) I’ve found the Nietzsche path just crossing the street and get adventured. Such a beautiful hike that will take you up to the Eze Village and just exploring those magical streets will lead you to the Exotique Jardin and the panorama is breathtaking. Well but if you want to miss all the adventure take the 83 bus up to the village get around and return with 82 to Nice Vauban :)

Beautiful hike from Eze train station to Eze village during the sunny day. The view is stunning when hiking up to the top. You can see the very blue ocean with tons of boats in the bay. The path is actually quite challenging because most of the part is made of small rocks. However, it’s totally worth the effort! The hike is around one hour. You can take train from Nice to Eze and hike to the top. You can take the Uber back to Nice as it may be tired to walk this path again. Highly recommend this place!

This is not an easy climb and will take a well over an hour to get to the top. Please please please dress as if you were going to the gym, I wish I had! You can always take an outfit with you to change into or get the bus to Eze and hike down. Have good walking or hiking shoes on (I saw far too many people in sandals risking an injury!) the stones are slippy so you’ll need something with grip and take plenty of water. It’s worth the hike and the views are breathtaking! The hike down is a much more manageable 30-40 mins, but again watch out for slippy rocks.

Very picturesque — and difficult — hike down from old Eze to the train station. Strongly recommend bringing tennis shoes or hiking shoes. The terrain is very uneven and rocky, and I almost twisted an ankle several times. I’m glad we went down instead of up, but we certainly passed plenty of folks doing the difficult hike up. We also saw lots of people in sandals, so hey, I guess it’s possible.

We had great times ascending this path (about 2 km in 1.5 hours on slow pace). Some people like to take the bus from the Èze train station to the Èze village, then walk downward, but we opted for the climbing. The ascending is challenging, and adequate shoes are highly recommended. Only the first (sea level) part is easy. The rest of the path is scattered with stones and uneven rock stairs. The scenery is truly paying off all the effort!

A short but challenging and beautiful hike! If you plan to do this please make sure you pack some hiking shoes and plenty of water and maybe a change of clothes because you will be sweating a ton by the time you reach the top. The trail is very steep at times and very rugged basically from top to bottom, but the views and nature are worth it. I would not recommend this trail for children under 12

What a place. This is a lovely walk from the sea to Eze. It is very spectacular slowly making your way up. I recommend it to anyway who has the mobility to complete this walk. This walk however it step and quite uneven. You will not get a pram up there! Dont be fooled by the start which is up a steep pavement path. If you think you might struggle just go up and you can take a bus or such home as walking dow this with tired legs would be dangeous. It will take about 45 min to 1 hour. There are no toilets or water fountains anywhere so you need to be prepared. Near the top there are ruins of a old house with a path to the right. If you walk about 20 meters this way there is a cute little waterfalll.

I can’t recommend this hiking trail enough! The distance is relatively short at just two kilometers, but the ascent of 400 meters in elevation makes it quite challenging. What truly sets this hike apart is the breathtaking view of the ocean. It’s like walking on a postcard! The trail is dotted with large rocks, which add a level of difficulty but also contribute to its unique charm. Good footwear is definitely recommended. The highlight—quite literally—is reaching the charming village of Eze. After completing the challenging part of the hike, you can relax and explore the local culture here. Cafés, small shops, and historical buildings make it a perfect place to unwind. Getting There: Access is incredibly straightforward. From the center of Nice, take bus 607 directly to Gare Eze station, which serves as the starting point for the hike. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. The best part is that once you reach Eze, you can catch a direct bus back to Nice. Plan for about 50 minutes to an hour for the hike—the time will fly by. I recommend to start down and hike up to Eze. Going down from Eze could be a bit cumbersome. In summary, this is an absolutely must-visit trail that offers both natural beauty and the charming village of Eze. A must for any nature lover and hiking enthusiast! Discovering this wonderful trail is absolutely worth it. Five stars are most certainly justified!

Definitely a tricky hike (down). 60mins, lots of slipping, knee-bending steps, running water (near stone tower and waterfall) adding mud to the already tough walk. No rails, tight and curvy in places, not really safe at all frankly. In nice weather, it's ok but not easy, and given there's really no view for most of it (trees, scrub, barbed wire, fencing, private homes in construction), not much fun. We would not do it again (and we've done many hikes, in Georgia (Kazbeg), and Turkey. This was not much fun. No place to sit, no benches, no flat spots, no picnic opportunities. Trail is fairly well marked (yellow paint) but not many options to get off. View are good near the bottom, sea, train tracks, road, craggy mountain behind, sun finally penetrating trees. End of the trail is literally the train station, boom, you're there.

Definitely recommended. Walking shoes and proper clothing is advisable but not necessarily if you are reasonably fit. It takes around an hour to get to Eze ville and the views are breathtaking. The path itself is very nice and neatly made and properly maintained, but do not expect clean asphalt to the top.

Very difficult hike. For those not willing to break a sweat, it should not be considered. With short water and photography breaks, it took around an hour, however it is very steep, with many loose rocks. Some beautiful views are to be found on the trail.

Beautiful cathedral. The bells are wonderful to hear.

The church was closed and we couldnt see it inside. Outside it is needing some repairs. There is a little market by the side of the church on saturdays, there you will find nice cheese, dried meat, fresh fruits and vegetables

Not my type of beaches but was recommended by lot of people. Be prepared for a good 10 to 15 min hike to reach/leave it.

Very Nice Beach. There is a nice payed parking in front of some stears that leads to the beach. 10 min walk and you will be there. We stayed from 9-11:30am and there were enough people. Not too crowded nor exclusive. This is a stone beach so, possible to stay without shoes, but definitely not that comfortable. Nice to swim.

This was literally paradise found after a hike down some steep stairs through a jungle clearing. There was no one around and it was quite an adventurous walk down to the clearing where we spotted the beautiful beach. It’s a hidden beach off some stairs on the Eze to nice main highway.. breathtaking views of the riviera from here. But must be visited early as once it gets dark accessibility can be a major concern.

Gorgeous beach. Unfortunately there was feces near where we sat 😅 but besides that, a great way to end the day after a morning in the Eze village

Nice beach but not super convenient for children (stronger waves, deep quickly and a bit rocky). Also it requires to “hike” like 10 min to get there. But 5/5 for adults :)

Eze sur Mer beach stood out as our favorite among all the beaches we explored near Nice. With its clean waters, although we encountered a few jellyfish, and notably fewer crowds compared to other spots, it offered a serene and enjoyable experience. Remember to bring water boots and snacks to make the most of your visit.

Beautiful stone beach that has a free access to the sea 🌞🌊 we also slept their which was totally easy and perfect for travelers!! Sadly at 05:00 the flies are coming and you are eaten alive 🪰😂

Lovely beach! Sadly a man walked up near my group of friends and I, got naked and watched us as he touched himself. When we walked away he waved and proceeded to stand up, watch us and finish on the wall of the beach. A disturbing experience in a beautiful place

Clean and quiet beach. 10 Parking spots available. From the parking walk 7 mins down. The beach has no facilities like showers or lifeguards on duty but it has a beautiful view, clean water and clean beach. The beach is stony, bring shoes to swim.
